A clean minimalist hotel with a great location for me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very tight. The shower was great. The bed was comfortable. The coffee pot worked well. No refrigerator which made it a little inconvenient. The “breakfast” wasn’t really used.
- 5/5
Easygoing, free breakfast, welcoming
- 4/5
Staff was wonderful. Jewel and Alissa at the front desk were incredible. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Coffee hot and ready early.
- 4/5
Terrific spot and location. Staff were amazingly helpful during the stay with storing and helping to carry items as I was hosting a brunch the next day. The garage staff next door were exceptional!

The hotel looks better in pictures than the experience in reality. The bedroom was basic. The bathroom was dated and the shower was positioned in such a way that it soaked the bathroom floor. Breakfast was low quality with offerings of canned fruit and simple carbohydrates. Staff seemed generally disinterested. Poor wifi for anyone hoping to work.
- 4/5
This hotel definitely quiet and cozy
- 3/5
The shower had a slow drain. As much as I paid for the room for one night I shouldn’t have had a problem like that.

room was adequate, breakfast was so-so - but the oj was good! just getting tired and sort of worn

Room was clean and ample towels were provided. Location is convenient to bus and subway. The area is safe to wonder about even after night fall. This was a good choice for me.

Booked a room for one night. Checked in and went to room, thermostat said 84 felt like 90. Went downstairs after turning AC on full and went out. Came back couple of hours later and room still at 82. Front desk said no fans or other rooms available. Slept in the sauna room cause it was late and didn’t want to switch hotels. Reached out to hotel management cause front desk and maintenance guy said to request my money back. Waiting to see if I actually get a response.

Ludicrously overpriced for what is offered.
- 3/5
Very basic breakfast. Prison being built directly opposite but surprisingly the room was fairly quiet. Met our needs but I wouldn’t stay in this hotel again.
- 3/5
It looks cute in pictures but is quite run down. The continental breakfast was good as is the location. The free bottle of wine is a single serve inexpensive Cabernet in a plastic bottle. I’m not sure it was worth the cost.
- 4/5
Breakfast was simple and nice that it was open until 11am on weekends. Bathroom was not the cleanest but functional. Cleaning staff was on top of it daily!! Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating :)
- 5/5
The staff on reception were cheerful and very helpful. Our room was quiet, spacious and clean. All in all a great stay, we would definitely stay again.

Great location, staff was helpful. Breakfast didn’t stay up the whole time. Rooms are older and could use some update but overall good stay
- 4.5/5
The location of the hotel is convenient for us visiting our family. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the breakfast in the morning is a nice touch. It is a little loud at times.

Not a great hotel. Breakfast yucky. WiFi broken. Good location though.
- 5/5
All staff were great as usual. Room was clean.
- 5/5
The location is hard to beat. It’s extremely convenient, especially if you’re heading to the Barclays Center, which is an easy walk. There are also plenty of food options nearby, so you’re never short on places to eat. Parking in the garage next door was simple and hassle-free, which made a big difference. One thing that really stood out was the room size. For New York, especially at this price point, the room was surprisingly spacious. I’ve stayed in smaller rooms that cost more, so this was a nice upgrade in terms of comfort. The room itself was very clean overall. The only area that could use some improvement is the bathroom. It looked clean at first, but there were a few spots in the shower and above the mirror that could benefit from a deeper cleaning. Breakfast was okay. It gets the job done, but it’s nothing particularly memorable. This was a great stay. Between the staff, location, room size, and overall comfort, I’d definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Nice location! Wonderful staff
- 3/5
Cons: Dirty and outdated. Weird stains on ceiling and on drapes and curtains.
- 4/5
Room was pretty spacious, especially for NYC standards. They also brought up a crib for our toddler to sleep in which was great. Location was great. Close to metro and also close to some of the charming brooklyn neighborhoods.
- 5/5
Great hotel at this price point. It was clean, comfortable, and had some artistic flair, as well as the included continental breakfast in the lobby which is a time-saver.
- 3/5
the one complaint i had was that our room wreaked of cigarette smoke i let front desk know to make sure i wasn’t charged aside from that, room is ok. location is wonderful
- 4/5
Great breakfast with coffee, tea, juice every morning to get our day started right. Walking distance to shopping and the Paramount Theater. We had a great stay!
- 5/5
The staff are amazing and the rooms are clean. I highly recommend!
- 2/5
Breakfast not worth having.
- 4.5/5
Staff always very nice and helpful Room was very clean and I loved the artwork on my wall Breakfast offerred several choices--healthy. Great location for the places I needed to attend. Also, close to subway
- 4/5
The Nu Hotel is located well in Brooklyn, convenient to public transportation, including subway from/to Howard Beach/JFK. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, although I found the in-room AC/heating unit a little loud. The hallway on the second floor also smelled a little of tobacco smoke. As I only stayed for one night, I didn’t get to sample other amenities, such as the breakfast and gym.
- 4/5
Well placed ,10 minutes walk from multiple subway stations. Clean, friendly, comfortable and functional. Spare not fancy. Would be 4 stars but goes down to three because they could not fix a broken light over the sink over 3 full days, including one regular workday, threatening to turn shaving into a blood letting. Will definitely stay again.

- 5/5
I came to Brooklyn to attend a concert for my BDay. I was pleasantly surprised to know that the staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. You never know what you're going to get with NY energy... Also, the cleaning staff was awesome; I ended up leaving them a little tip! My room was cleaned daily not like some other major chains. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here @ NU and would recommend it to anyone.
- 1/5
I pad for two double beds and they gave us one bed and an awful cot. The woman at the desk said that’s all we have and wasn’t very friendly. All she said was that’s all we have do you still need it.
- 5/5
Staff was super accommodating. Area was nice
- 5/5
Nice inside and outside! Staff was very pleasant and check in was really easy! In a good area that's close to shops and restaurants. They are building a jail across the street, so it was noisy during daylight hours. They worked overnight as well and it was pretty quiet once dark, we were thankful for the blackout curtains bc there were bright lights for the workers. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfy with great pillows. There was a little sign that mentioned a mini wet bar in the room, but there was none, which a mini fridge would have been nice to have, but not essential to us. I wish it was available for another weekend trip I have coming up bc I'd def stay again!
- 3/5
My stay at NuHotel was just okay nothing really special. The rooms were very spacious and the location is ideal, but honestly that was about how good it gets. I feel like there are better hotels you can stay at that will be worth your money. At this hotel I was told I had to pay a certain amount everyday for amenities and it just isn't worth it. I had a 4 day trip and the wifi was not working for the whole duration of my trip. Everyone asked about it and the staff was very nonchalant with there response. No answers were given it was just "they haven't told me anything" and honestly the general manager gave off a "its not my problem energy". The only place to get wifi was the lobby. So can you imagine everyone is in the lobby working and talking for long periods. It was uncomfortable you want to be in the comfort of the room especially if you are having private conversations or working. And after so many people being in the lobby it was dirty so I don't know I felt really uncomfortable. So like I said there are better hotels to stay at this was kind of pricy for the bare minimum.
- 4/5
Clean. Safe. Friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, bright, spacious room. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
Our stay was less good than on previous occasions. Breakfast ran out of food first morning. Staff courtesy was limited. We had to search for staff to clean our room (we were there five nights). Location is convenient for us and we will probably book again, but hoping things will be better next time.
- 5/5
Well-run hotel.
- 3/5
I liked they had a lot of cable channels. And hot water.
- 5/5
Clean room. It is a good size room in NYC. The bathroom is spacious and modern. We have two beds for two people so we slept comfortably.
- 3/5
Rooms overbooked with current visitors having paid to extend their stay until 6pm when original check in was 3pm. No prior warning to this Eventually got in room at 7.45pm. No offer of a discount or refund despite losing out on almost 5 hours of room availability
- 5/5
This is a modern hotel, somewhat stark rooms, but efficient, staff is friendly, and I enjoyed the continental breakfast with a mixture of New York travelers from all over the world
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 5/5
A fine clean quiet and convenient stay, steps away from Carroll Gardens and Downtown Brooklyn.
- 5/5
Clean room, courteous staff
- 5/5
Clean and a nice
- 4/5
Room was not clean. Bedding was dirty- probably not washed. Moved into different room which was fine. Hallway carpeting looked like hadn't been vacuumed in days
- 5/5
Very clean room. The staff were very polite and courteous. I will be coming back to Brooklyn and will stay here again.
- 4/5
Conveniently located Brooklyn Hotel with a young, fresh vibe. We stayed here on an overnight trip to celebrate our anniversary along with our toddler. Nice breakfast included.
- 1/5
I had to check out one day earlier
- 3/5
Check-in was smooth and hotel is a great location. However, there was a lingering smell of smoke in the room and we came to find out the HVAC system has some quirks which often led to heat exceeding nearly 80 degrees. That said, the hotel did offer us an opportunity to speak to the front desk for a possibility of swapping rooms, which was appreciated.
- 4/5
Room was clean but rather spartan. Bed was very hard. Staff friendly. Breakfast limited but good.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 1/5
The hotel had no hot water when we stayed at the end of December. The hotel could have emailed to inform guests but did not -- only telling guest upon check in. Compensation was just a waiver of the $28 resort fee. Will never stay at this hotel again.
- 2/5
NJ hot l ad claimed that there was a deep soaking bathtub on the room and that was incorrect. It has a regular outdated tub
- 4/5
Me gusto la avitacion
- 1/5
No hot water, $28/night compensation. Go to the Hilton around the corner instead.
- 3/5
Breakfast food could be better
- 4/5
Good staff and feels safe though which is big.
- 2/5
No hot water for showers!!!!
- 3/5
Staff was helpful however romm telephone did not work, Heat/air system was not explained and unit was poorly located, bed was not great.
- 3/5
All was "fine", nothing special. $400+/night seems like a lot to pay for a "fine" room. Several maintenance issues in the room, burned out lightbulbs not replaced' only a partial roll of toilet paper, no second roll; toilet paper roll holder at an angle. Front desk was cordial, helpful.
- 5/5
Quirky decor, good location and nice staff. Free breakfast was awesome and enjoyed having tables in the lobby to sit and eat takeout
- 3/5
Average, room was a little run down, the fridge made an awful noise and the AC was also loud. I wouldn't personally stay again.
- 3/5
Free bottles of wine, larger shower, great in room coffee maker. Cons- Mgt must not pay well because you never felt welcomed. The Construction outside was very loud and its going on for the next year. AC in unit was loud and heat didn’t work. When we called front desk they claimed no was available till 10:30PM. Water pressure in shower is so weak. They left us 1/2 roll of toilet paper. $150 deposit on top of room fee. No onsite parking. The sign shows parking but the front desk didnt know. The garage next door told us to get it stamped and low and behold they have nothing to do with Hotel. $50 to park and it took 20 minutes to get car out. The room key didn't work, we had to get it remagnetized. This place is definitely mot for couples. Better for workers on a budget.
- 4/5
Room was clean and enough room for a short stay for 2 people. The bed was firm but WAY TOO BOUNCY. Anytime one person would get in and out of the bed. The other person would go bouncing up in the air. Not good if you are not a very deep sleeper. Also lots of noise from outside, which is to be expected on such a busy street. They only gave you one roll of toilet paper and there was a sharp protrusion from the wall where there should have been a magnifying mirror. The doors are incredibly heavy, there are two sets, and nobody helps you in or out or over opening the door with all your luggage. I was concerned if somebody was elderly how that would work. There’s just one person standing behind the desk and they just watch you struggle. It is a basic no amenity stay. That being said very inexpensive for Brooklyn.
- 4/5
Breakfast menu was predictable. Food was fresh. Staff were friendly and kept food full.
- 4/5
Room was very clean. Would have rated a 5 if not for the construction next door, which began promptly at 7 AM. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was limited but adequate.
- 3/5
Wasn't the same experience from when I stayed here for a month more than 10 years ago. Hallways and rooms were a little dingy and had signs of wear, but staff were nice.
- 5/5
Room was good, not spotless but fine. The staff was excellent! Location was great!
- 5/5
Location, clean room, great staff!
- 5/5
The room was spotless and the staff responded quickly when our HVAC wasn't working
- 3/5
I was disappointed in the experience of this hotel for the price point. The TVs did not work for the first 3 nights of my stay. The shower flooded the bathroom floor upon use every time. The hotel promised to reimburse some expenses due to the TV issues they had. However they have not followed through and are no longer responding. I think there are better hotel options for the rates they are charging. Would not choose to stay here again.
- 1/5
Instead of attempting to correct it, Nu Brooklyn and Expedia dug their heels in and did not attempt to help. They lost a great customer. Short sided front desk and poor customer service. They can take a long walk off a short pier !!!!!!
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly people, reasonable price
- 5/5
Wonderful stay. Rooms are lovely, clean and quiet (aside from the slamming doors of other rooms but that seems to happen in every hotel now?). Everyone on staff was super nice and helpful. The "resort fee" feels like a strange scam—an obligatory $25 surcharge each day for not great breakfast and very weak/intermittent WiFi—but the price per night and general stay of the hotel was truly great.
- 5/5
Just great. Clean, quiet (except for the slamming doors but that seems to be everywhere now?), lovely. The staff is all super nice.
- 3/5
Room was not properly cleaned upon arrival. There was a small towel left on the shower curtain bar, and a used room key inside an open drawer. One of the nightstand has no power. Breakfast has limited selection and often crowded. Otherwise the stay was passable, which is quite an extraordinary thing to say, given how much they charge.
- 5/5
Yes service was great and room was spotless
- 1/5
Staff lied about the breakfast offerings. The amenities promised for a mandatory $25/day were not provided: no free prosecco pour on arrival, no slippers in the room, no Brooklyn Pass. With the rudeness, unfriendliness, and mandatory fee without providing the amenities I will not be staying here again.
- 4/5
Clean room, but Spartan. Breakfast limited and not great quality. Little help offered or available when breakfast items ran low. Check in staff good. Front foyer area a bit run down. Bedding of questionable quality, duvet very stained.
- 5/5
Front desk very helpful and friendly, especially the smiley man on during the weekday. Loved using the free bikes. Great location. I guess I needed to tell housekeeping if I wanted them. No one ever came for 3 days, but then again I didn't ask for them. Ran out of tp the last day, but were leaving.
- 5/5
It’s my second time live at this hotel. Love it as always. The location is great and the staff is very helpful. Will choose it again next time.

Location perfect! The shower needs some help. Otherwise the property is great, staff wonderful and knowing when I booked it was a touchless type of hotel!

- 4/5
This is a a suitable, reasonable hotel in a great location. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Wish the food options were better - they have a small menu 5-10pm through a 3rd party and a very basic free breakfast every morning. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but served its purpose. Would stay there again when looking for a money saving option.
- 4/5
Very comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Delicious free breakfast. This was our second stay and we will definitely return again. The location is perfect even with the construction across the street.
- 4/5
Very convenient location, close to subway, lots of dining options. No parking- have to park nearby and pay an additional $50 per day/night.
- 1/5
The old woman who checked me in ruined my entire stay, I ended up leaving.
- 5/5
We had a great stay at Nu Hotel- our daughter was starting College and we spent the week in Brooklyn getting her settled. The staff are friendly, attentive and accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located in walking distance to subway lines and transportation into the city. They have a well kept and equipped gym and continental breakfast was simple but had a good variety. I recommend the hotel and we’ll certainly stay there for our next visit.
- 5/5
Decent quality and value stay in Brooklyn - plenty of bars, delis and restaurants in the neghbourhood.
- 5/5
We booked this hotel to stay overnight to see our favorite band and couldn't be happier! The hotel itself was super cute and very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again!
- 4/5
Very nice hotel if you can get it in the 200-range. Anything more than that is lacking. Rooms adequate and clean but cleaning staff under staffed and stretched thin. Morning breakfast a definite plus. Would stay again if can get it for the right price. Not a 3/400 night hotel.
- 5/5
Excellent value. Clean, well-lit hallways. Well-kept rooms and very clean bathroom. Very helpful staff. Good self-serve breakfast of fresh-cut melon, hard boiled eggs, bread, cereal.
- 5/5
Everything was a great experience. I would come here again.
- 5/5
:) Nice location!
- 5/5
The staff at the NU Hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and a good size. Nearby access to subway stations.
- 3/5
Construction across street and older hotel rooms.
- 1/5
Nothing!
- 4/5
The property was clean, but the parking was not convenient because I had to pay $65 per day for parking and I could not do in and out with the car.
- 4/5
It has not been well maintained, some cheap amateur repairs.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5

- 5/5
I've stated here several times and enjoy the
- 3/5
I know this might be petty but I didn't like the fact they didn't have a microwave inside the room they didn't have a ice machine on our floor we had to the lobby The shower head did not give no pressure and the breakfast selection was not good, But I did like The customer service, the location and the fact that they had bikes that you can ride that came with your stay
- 4/5
Hotel is decent. No carpet in the room which is a plus. Loud noises can be heard from the parking garage next door and the walls are thin. Some staff were friendly and some clearly didn’t want to be bothered.
- 3/5
The AC was so loud. I adjusted the settings and it didn’t help at all, there is a random towel under the mattress. I was scared to touch it. The curtains had what looked to be burns on them. The window seals had stains that could have been cleaned off. The whole forth floor was hot and humid. As you come off the elevator you breath and water and immediately start to sweat. Bathroom shower needs updating bad.
- 4/5
We had a nice stay at the hotel. It was kept very clean and the service was friendly. Room was small but we only slept there at night so we didn’t mind. Centrally located for good food and shopping also. Construction across the street started early and went on into the evening. Not the pace if you’re looking for quiet.
- 1/5
It would take me too long to explain why you should not go to this hotel just don’t go there’s way better hotels than this one. Take my advice.
- 5/5
Everything was great, except the WiFi. Very cumbersome to fill the information daily on all devices
- 5/5
Breakfast could've been better...
- 5/5
The staff were awesome - friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
NU hotel is a nice place in a great location in Brooklyn. Lots of food options within a few blocks and the room was nice and clean.
- 3/5
It was good BUT the main reason I chose this hotel was bc it said it had parking on site and IT DOESN’T! The website should be updated it’s deceiving specially coming from out of state.
- 4/5
The bed was a little low for me, but area was super convenient for the city and eating.
- 3/5
We were initially put in a accessible room (not requested) and after 1 shower the whole bathroom floor had flooded - very poor shower layout, the water then went under the wall of the bathroom into the bedroom coming up through the floor boards, water damage is evident on the walls/floor, seems like this is a known issue to the hotel but people are continued to be booked in this room… disappointing start to the trip as they couldn’t move us to a new room for the first night. Moved on our second night and had no issues, quick and basic breakfast and the bikes provided were great!
- 5/5
Beautiful place. Clean and front desk afternoon to evening service was amazing.
- 3/5
Not sure if from a pile driver at the construction site across the street or a heavy door or the elevator shaft, but there are some loud thumping/banging noises happening at all hours. It's loud and you can feel the vibration through the walls/floors. I complained with the front desk twice and they acted like they had no idea (which I doubt is the case, to be honest, but this is just my assumption.) I was offered to change rooms but wasn't able to since I didn't have much time at the hotel to arrange it. I had a very busy stay and was woken up at 5am after going to bed 2am the night before, so not great!
- 5/5
I really love this hotel — it’s located in an awesome area with great staff. I mostly interacted with Zay, Jewels, and Stanley. Their professionalism and care were crucial for me as a solo traveler. They were friendly and kind but at the same time professional and deliberate. I literally came back bc I wanted a hotel where I could feel like home — to feel welcome in a human way — and NuHotel was without competition. Two other staff members that I interacted with briefly included Trudy and Rakim. They were also very kind. Thank you guys for making me feel welcome. I didn’t come here under happy circumstances but you made my stay a lovely one. Keep being your best selves and never stop learning! O the places you’ll go 💕🙏
- 5/5
The location was perfect. There were restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, so we visited many of those. It's also only a few blocks to the subway to go into Manhattan, which made it very convenient to go into the city. We came back at night several times, and I never felt unsafe coming back to our hotel. After reading the reviews from others, I was concerned about both the construction and the breakfast at NU Hotel. Our room was directly across from the construction site, and I don't know if they just weren't doing anything overly noisy during our stay -- but with the sound of the air conditioner, I didn't even hear the construction noise at all. A couple of times, I looked out to see if they were even working that day. I also thought the breakfast was fine -- there were simple things like boiled eggs, bagels with lunch meat and cheese, fresh fruit (oranges and bananas). The coffee was great. Parking was simple with being next door. Overall, I was extremely happy with our stay at NU Hotel, I would most definitely stay again when coming to Brooklyn.
- 5/5
Loved the breakfast, location, and room! The staff was helpful and kind.
- 3/5
Expedia rate specifically included continental breakfast but my father was charged on his incidentals card for continental breakfast.
- 3/5
Convenient location. It appeared that the continental breakfast was wrapped into the amenity fee. Lobby insipid, concrete floor, with metal chairs-bad combo! Irritating things: room did not have full complement of towels, specifically wash cloths. Tissue supply ran out. Broken glass on shower door. Day manager attentive to a fault. Weekend/evening crew seemed passive, indifferent. Again, sub-par given overall cost of stay-factoring added taxes/fees.
- 5/5
I like this boutique hotel, the room is cute and clean, the hotel is near shopping. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would stay here again!
- 3/5
I thought the room was comfortable but the hotel could use some up keep. My toilet wasn't working properly and the hallways could use some carpet cleaning. The people working there are very nice with one exception. It was a good location in downtown Brooklyn, but disappointed in the overall experience.
- 5/5
I had an excellent stay. Clean sheets and room. Friendly and efficient staff. cool room layout and awesome location for Brooklyn Heights, cobble hill, park slope etc. Train stations nearby.
- 5/5
Clean room and great cookies
- 5/5
met family. the hotel is clean and basic. breakfast simple very basic. maybe expensive foe what you get but ok
- 3/5
Okay
- 3/5
It was okay parking was terrible
- 2/5
Noisy workers
- 3/5
Not the nicest hotel, but the bed was comfortable, AC worked well and it’s a very convenient location in downtown Brooklyn.
- 4/5
For $400 a night, when I'm offered a bottle of wine I expect more than two tiny bottles
- 5/5
Great loction. Parking garage right next door. Couple of blocks from subway stations. Safe neighborhood. Best features for me were fast elevator, nice fitness center, breakfast included! I much preferred staying in Brooklyn than Manhatten. Will definitely book again!!!
- 4/5
Good.the only thing is that it doesn't provide slippers.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay here! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I felt welcome and comfortable. Really wish I could stay longer.
- 5/5
The staff were very professional and courteous.
- 4/5
Convenient to many restaurants
- 3/5
Room is clear. breakfast have so many choice.but when we check in in night, The front desk someone is a little unfriendly. Our room outside is very noise.
- 4/5
Good location
- 4/5
Nice place, remodeled and updated. Breakfast included, great fitness center, bike available ( if you’re brave). Construction across the street continues 24 hours a day but it wasn’t too noisy. Our room on the fourth floor was pretty quiet.
- 3/5
Our only negative was the unfriendly greeting upon our arrival Sunday evening. I called in advance to indicate a late arrival. When we arrived at 8:45 pm, it seemed as if we were imposing.
- 4/5
Overall good hotel and stay. Friendly and professional staff. A little run down. Says deep soaking tub but is just a basic tub w no-slip. L'Occitane products! Pillows too large and stiff for my comfort. Great location for going around central Brooklyn and easy subway to Manhattan.
- 5/5
My adult daughters’ and I were completely happy with our stay here. We have no complaints.
- 5/5
Front desk people were very nice and patient and helpful

Lovely, lovely stay. Staff were friendly, room was clean and quite spacious for New York, with comfortable bed and really nice bedding. The free breakfast was a great plus. And the location was outstanding! Easy access to every train line in NYC and great strolling on Smith St. for restaurants, Shelsky’s bagels, and great espresso joints. Except for the common sound of sirens and honking out on the street, the room was quite quiet, with huge windows looking at trees and sky. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. The Wi-Fi was a disaster until we inquired, made a phone call to the access company, and had them reset the connection to our room. Would absolutely book here again.

Love this property! Everybody was so nice and there were so many extras there. My only complaint was when we got there, the toilet hadn’t been cleaned, but everything else was clean. We let them know and they cleaned it immediately. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

Excellent check in process

This hotel was good enough. One thing that’s important to note is that your VIP benefit is a mini bottle of wine, not an actual bottle of wine.

we were slated to be on the 2nd floor above the garage - we got moved to the 4th floor where you could still hear some noise. overall average

Great

No drainage for accessible rm, therefore when taking shower water is completely overflowing in the entire bathroom- need a drainage on the floor of the accessible rooms…

Perfect for a short stay in Brooklyn. Fun colors and design. Staff was amazing
- 5/5
Rooms relatively large, well appointed (eg plenty of space for clothes), illuminated makeup mirror and in excellent condition. Also good value (through Expedia) for the location. Breakfast was free/included and the components were just what we wanted - fruit, yogurt, cheese etc
- 4/5
Cons. The bed has pretensions of being a waterbed. Any movement has a ripple effect. Worst. Bed. Ever. If you are not alone. No exhaust in the bathroom and it stinks when used.

Standleigh, who was our host at the desk, was absolutely phenomenal. He made it so easy for us to shoot some interviews for a film we were doing and he could not have been more hospitable. I can't say enough great things about him. The NU Hotel should take very good care of him because he would be a star anywhere he worked.

The property was well located and near places to dine and have a drink.

I like the Basquiat poster n the room.
