Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and efficiency. The hotel's location and cleanliness are also frequently mentioned as positives. However, there are several complaints about hidden charges, poor customer service, and issues with room cleanliness and maintenance.

Poor room service and poor quality that did not meet the Hilton standard
- 3/5
The hotel is extremely expensive, the room is basic and nothing special, and the staff are completely unfriendly, except for the elderly porter. There's no kettle in the room, and on weekends, you can hear the band playing loudly until late at night. Check-in is also late, at 4 PM, which is much later than the usual 12 PM or 2 PM. I had to pay an extra $150 for early check-in at 11:30 AM, even though the room was ready.
- 3/5
The receptionist (a lady) was a bit rude; I understand I was trying to check in early, but there is no need to show a bad attitude toward people who want to spend money at the hotel. Special recognition goes to the cafeteria staff they are amazing and very helpful! Perhaps they should consider working at the front desk! My room had a lovely view but needs a renovation; it looks very worn.

The room we had was exceptionally large for that of NYC. It was clean, & well kept! The view was beautiful! I've been there a few times before & have always enjoyed my time there. Nothing really!

I loved this place. It had everything you need in and around it. Staff was great
- 5/5
I enjoyed my experience would recommend to every and anybody definitely will be coming again
- 3/5
This property does not have any parking and I repeat they do not have any parking at all but instead they told me they have a contract with a parking garage around the corner that only valet can go to and it cost $100 per day and you do not have In-N-Out privileges so once your vehicle is validated, you cannot get your vehicle again unless you pay $100 again per day and I think that should have been mentioned in the description because I would have definitely selected a different hotel. The room was very nice and small, but I did have a wonderful view of the city.

I liked the hotel. Close to everything. Clean and the staff are nice. Only issue is that the cafe at the lobby is pretty pricey. But I would come back for sure.

The repair work that was underway...the drilling was just above my allocated room and it was almost impossible to do any work as I was there on business

This property had a wonderful view, Brandon had checked us in to the hotel on Saturday Afternoon and he was so very kind and helpful through the whole process, he had selected us a room with a beautiful view of the city and river on the 39th floor. It has a peaceful atmosphere when it wasn’t busy as well, which was usually late afternoons :) I will say the rooms are not very sound proof, just to be warned, noisy neighbors are always a possibility, which is what we experienced on our last night there, otherwise the stay was mostly calm and quiet

Bad experience in the front desk bad attitudes with me and my friends and racist!!! We simply asked if we could check into our room early, and he flatly said no—adding that if we needed to use a restroom, there was one available in the waiting area, and it was free.

Una estancia agradable, encontramos empleados que eran bilingües lo cual fue favorable para nosotros. La limpieza del lugar es buena sin embargo la cortina del baño estaba manchada pero de ahi en fuera todo lo demas fue excelente. Volveria definitivamente!

The room was filthy… the lamp shades has stains inside that looked like residue from bed bugs, both double beds were lopsided and one of the mattresses had a huge piss stain on it. The windows were dirty and the carpet was extra filthy with stains and dirt tracks everywhere. That room (4041) should have never been allowed to be used. When I told the Manager (Derrick) and showed him pictures, his only concern seem to be the lamp shades. The QR codes on the desk and in the elevator didn’t work, when I finally got one that did let us order room service, the room service never came. Terrible look for the Hilton chain, I will never use that hotel again. That room was worse than a motel 6….never again!!
- 4.5/5
Large room, nice gym and great location. No kettle in the room.
- 4/5
Cons: the hotel needs a major upgrade, old and low ceiling, average bedding and uncomfortable pillows; mandatory resort fee with credit you can use in cafeteria, but everything is marked up! Staff not so friendly, stone faced like a robot.
- 4/5
I stayed here with my teenage son over spring break so we could do the UN tour, see Broadway shows and check out the opera.
- 2.5/5
There was no water available in our room during our stay. In addition, we were given a voucher and told that we could eat at the café with a credit of about $38 included. However, we are now being charged $43.60 due to what appears to be incorrect or misleading information provided by the hotel staff. We would appreciate clarification on these charges and a resolution to this issue as soon as possible.

The room was clean and comfortable. We had a short overnight stay so we did not use any amenities. My only 'complaint' is the $100/day valet parking fee, but that is pretty typical of hotels in the city. The staff were friendly and the valet guys were awesome. Would stay again.

Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly especially the team in the breakfast bar/restaurant. The manager & man at the host stand was FANTASTIC!
- 1/5
The parking staff was rude while we were trying to park for check-in. We also requested something as simple as a birthday card for our 14-year-old daughter while staying in the Presidential Suite, and they told us they do not provide that kind of service. Extremely overpriced, lacking basic kindness and hospitality, and the hotel conditions do not justify the prices they charge at all. I do not recommend this hotel.

Nicely located just a few blocks from Grand Central. It was a nice hotel with great views and the staff was very nice and helpful. There is a $38 per day destination fee but you get $36 per day to spend at their cafe or store.
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 1.5/5
location Our room was prepared to be easily connected with the room next door (for families I assume). We could hear everything from next room as if they were in our room, and they were having loud sex all the time. It was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. We had to leave the room multiple times just to not hear that, and we were woken up at 5am with extreme noises of literal fucking.
- 5/5
Excellent!!
- 4/5
Wonderful location. Room was sparse on amenities.
- 4/5
The Millennium Hotel is clean and convenient for mid-town NYC. Yhe hotel has an irritating "resort charge," or something like that, that it charges on top of whatever one has paid, not in the price advertised on Expedia. This in my view is close to fraudulent.

My relationship with the Millenium Hilton ONE UN Plaza is a longlife journey since 2010 to date. All the old Employees at the frontdesk or in the Café and Restaurant are my Friends (those who retired or left and those who are still there). However the new ones (at the check-in or the Café, we need to teach them to welcome guests with only "A smile" to let us feel at Home. Longlife to your Hotel and God Bless all those who serve in it. Dr Najat Zarrouk The proximity with UN Headquarters. The kindness of the Senior Staff.

The view of the Manhattan skyline was spectacular from our corner room on the 38 floor Unfortunately the pool has been closed that was a disappointment and their were also some hefty extra charges upon arrival for incidentals Good location

Proximity to the place I visited. Valet parking and it is $100.
- 1/5
It is one of the worst hotels I have been to...

Parking is $100.00 a night.

I like this hotel. Most hotels in New York city have various small rooms. I have stayed here before and I chose it again just because the rooms are bigger than the other hotels close to Times Square. It is clean and it is safe. there are garage options around the hotel that if you pay in advance are reasonable. It was in a central area that I can walk to the places I wanted to visit. I didn’t pay for the breakfast option, but we found breakfast close nearby as well as dinner.

Great location, wonderful view
- 3/5
I was disappointed for what spent for the two-level duplex. I was excited to have a city view which was stated in the room description. On the 28 floor where I was, the view was largely. obstructed. This hotel is getting old and it shows. The staff was courteous but the stay was underwhelming for over a $1K for 2 nights. It wasn’t worth it. :(
- 5/5
We only stayed for one night, but the hotel was clean and the staff was delightful. I would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
Manager was amazing
- 4/5
Reception was excellent. I had a corner room which was large and clean, comfortable bed, however there was only 1 towel, dingy and bare and 1 washcloth. There is no dresser, only a closet with a safe and hangers. The closet light does not have a switch to turn it off, so I had to close the door at night. Also, the coffee maker was sitting on an old cooler that was not cold and the light flickered. Doors slamming all night, but it’s a hotel, so expected.

No Ac/ Room dirty, not same room as the one they show for city view king size, 2/3 elevators weren’t working, also if you don’t ask about any other fees they don’t tell you that you have a $38 a day food and beverage fee that will be removed from deposit whether you use it or not and I thinks it’s sneaky because they don’t tell you so they can make more money if you don’t use it. Horrible!

As for the property itself, the location was excellent; however, we encountered several issues. For the first two days—while staying in room 3338—the air conditioning was not working. We called multiple times to report the problem, but no one ever came to address it. On the second day, they moved us to a different room—suite 2932—but the air conditioning wasn't working there either. From there, they moved us to room 2813; the AC worked fine in that one, but when my son went to lie down on the sofa bed, it turned out it hadn't been made up. Consequently, I had to give him a sheet from my own bed so he could cover himself.

We had an amazing stay at Millennium Hilton! Our room had a stunning view of all the iconic skyscrapers in NYC. Staff were friendly and welcoming, from cleaning staff to front reception and concierge. Rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Free water fillings tations with cold, good tasting water were a bonus. Also, enjoyed the $38 food/drink credit you could use daily. Overall, a wonderful experience we would definitley recommend to friends.

Bad customer service. Everyone was rude except one employee i forgot his name but was really nice. They charge you 40 everyday to use at the store in their hotel. Supposedly my breakfast was included and they assured me it was free and i got a check for $120 its ridiculous. The room i booked was not the room they gave me and when i complained they said they didnt have that room available which is crazy because i booked that room and they gave it to someone else. The room i got was really bad. The carpet was torn and i kept waking up with bites all over my legs and arms. I do not reccomend this hotel at all!

Room was excellent, good size, clean and wonderful view - cannot fault that at all. Room service would have been good to have. UN cafe had unreliable opening hours and a few times was closed when we wanted drinks and the drop and go service wasn’t available when advertised. The ambassador grill was also closed coinciding with the cafe being closed, we could eat at the bar but wasn’t a full menu. We were also told it would cost $100 dollars to check in early which i was very disappointed at , as Hilton hotels are usually more accommodating than that. Facility for checking bill daily would have been good to have on tv when trying to keep a track of $39 resort fee.

Friendly staff. During check-in the receptionist noticed it was my actual birthday date and upgraded us as a birthday gift. Which was so kind. There was miscommunication. They told us there was a $35 daily credit. We understood we can use all at once but it didn’t work that way. Only used daily otherwise you lose it.

The property was beautiful, and the view is stunning. We had a river and city view. We got stuck in the elevator for almost 3 hours and were promised to receive a refund for our last night and a complementary meal. We received our meal but have yet to receive the refund. I’m writing this review 2 weeks post trip. However, while being stuck, the hotel staff were extremely supportive and ensured that we were calm and safe.

The lobby is beautiful and the market downstairs is a good amenity. The room was spacious. The TV in the room is the worst I've seen. It didn't even work for all but one day. They need to replace that entire system as it is completely useless and ruins any nights we wanted to stay in. While the market downstairs is a good amenity, the prices are absolutely absurd. $6 for a soda that you're forcing me to pay for with the $35 mandatory daily credit.

This is a great hotel. I arrived on Christmas day, and every staff member I came into contact on that day, and those succeeding were friendly, warm and welcoming. They truly were there for me, and for all other guests. The room was spotless, and quiet and comfortable. I think I've found my spot in The City.

Room was spectacular.

The hotel location and the hotel and staff pretty nice only thing is that when I booked my room I booked two queen size beds for a reason and due to over booking when we arrived we were placed in a room with a king size and a sofa bed. They made it sound when we checked like they had upgraded which was definitely not the case. The sofa bed is terribly uncomfortable has springs coming out I have back and neck surgery this was the upmost most uncomfortable stay so much so I paced back and forth and got ready first thing in the am to go do as I had planned during my trip. When I returned second night same situation no sleep uncomfortable night once again. I called reception asked if I could get a late check out I was told I needed to pay a fee $100. Now keep in mind I’m already not happily staying at this hotel. I find this stay to be one of the worst and keep in mind again the hotel and location are great but God forbid they overbook and switch your originally confirmed room and bed request.

was very nice

All great
- 4/5
Great!
- 3/5
The room was fine, just lots of little things. Rig torn up in places, wall with chunks missing, TV not working for half the time we were there, etc. I know it’s NYC, but after a long day exploring we just wanted a few min of tv before bed, and couldn’t.
- 3/5
Poor upkeep in the rooms ripped curtains, decaying banana and other food items left in the fridge as soon as i checked in.
- 3/5
For a room labelled "deluxe" - expectations were not met. Furnishings had peeling/chipped vaneer, surfaces and under the bed were very dusty. There was a constant noise in the ceiling. Like a ball bearing dropping every 10 seconds or so. We mentioned it at the front desk - it stopped momentarily before starting up again for the rest of our stay. Front desk service was minimal.

The nightly rate does not match the quality of the facility and service. Except you’re paying for close proximity to the UN, which was my case, your money will be better spent elsewhere.
- 3/5
The suite was huge and the views weee gorgeous, but there were a number of things wrong with the suite that made me wonder who was in charge. The heating/cooling system in the main bedroom was completely broken; the control panels for the temperature and lights didn’t work at all (and somehow the temperature said it was set to 183 degrees but each room that had working air vents had its own temperature that we couldn’t seem to change), the door to the main bedroom wouldn’t latch, the sofa in the main room had tons of food debris under the seat cushions, the sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable, and one of the curtains in the main bedroom was coming off its hooks. The hotel refunded us a significant amount of money because all of this was bizarre and unacceptable.

This was the worst

I enjoy my stay

The hotel did a "bait and switch". it presented us with a coupon offering a $35 discount on food and beverage. We presented it at breakfast and was told that it would be reflected in the total bill. Only to find out that it was not honored because we booked through Expedia and not through the hotel itself. Adding insult to injury was a horrible breakfast at astronomical pricing. For example, a cup of coffee cost $9. Our total bill was $78 for an omelette, two scrambled eggs, a cup of tean and a cup of coffee. We felt taken!

Rooms left much to be desired. Not a proper placement to room anyone considering rooms were being renovated above which directly affected the plumbing in our room.

Clean and nice property but ran into some issues I never experienced before anywhere I ever stayed and I travel a lot

The room was tidy, with a good view

No pool, no amenities in room like ice bucket, restaurant very limited and expensive. Even though hotel under occupied early check in fee is $150. Decor is dark and gloomy
- 3/5
Our 1 bedroom $900/night suite was spacious but did not have a full length mirror, no small amenities like hand lotion, no ceramic coffee mugs, no good coffee. For that price we hoped for a little more comfort.

Cleanliness. Friendly staff.

I hope I get a good offer next time so I can come and stay at the same place
- 4/5
From the moment you walk into the hotel the hospitality is top tier! The room we we're given had a wonderful view and was perfect for my daughter's first time in New York! The restaurant was also a nice addition which saved us from walking in the rain for a late night bite after a long flight.. We will definitely be back!
- 5/5
And, not to leave out an important part, the staff was very helpful, and interested in making our stay great.
- 4/5
staff are very nice and good location
- 5/5
Clean, comfy, responsive and friendly staff. Great view. Walked to Grand Central in 10 min. Would recommend and stay again myself.
- 5/5
Staff are absolutely amazing. I would definitely book another stay in the near future.
- 5/5
It was a nice stay for a night
- 3/5
For the prices, they skimp on perks. I reserved a king corner room, high floor. There was no drinking water in the room, the air conditioner kept turning off and the shower stopped up. I went to the cafe in the lobby and they wanted to charge over $8 for a bottle of Poland Spring! No way. They no longer offer room service. I could order a drop bag from the cafe but delivery doesn’t start until 11 am. Check out is at 11! Will not stay there again.

Very clean hotel surrounded by restaurants not far from the broadway easy transportation

We recently returned from what was overall a lovely holiday, thanks in large part to the warm and attentive staff who made every effort to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We’ve stayed at this hotel before and, over time, have experienced four different room types across our visits. While each stay has had its memorable moments, it’s become clear that a recurring issue throughout the hotel is the need for consistent upkeep and care in the rooms—some thoughtful TLC would go a long way. Let us start with what truly made this stay special: the staff, and in particular, the manager on duty during our visit—Nicke. From the moment we checked in, Nicke stood out as an exceptional leader and a genuinely caring professional. He made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, especially in accommodating our needs for space with our infant. We had raised a few concerns, and not only did he take them seriously, but he also made sure they were followed through with respect and urgency. In our opinion—and as frequent travellers—we can confidently say that Nicke is among the best hotel managers we have encountered. If anyone deserves recognition, a promotion, or a bonus for excellence, it’s undoubtedly him. His commitment, kindness, and professionalism set a standard that others in the industry should aspire to. The rest of the staff were also warm, approachable, and attentive.

Great hotel, great location!
- 4/5
Only spent a short time at this location but the staff was absolutely incredible both at check in and with having to deal with a noise complaint on our floor. They made it worth the stay.

The website says there is a swimming pool which i was looking forward to use- it has been out of order for 8 YEARS- this "facility" needs twken off all websites as it is very misleading. The restaurant food was very good, the breakfast at €60+ was expensive for what you get. Its advertised at $48 and the hotel then adds tax and a tip taking it to $60. The biggest negative was the COMPULSORY $35 daily food and beverage charge. I go abroad to try new cultures, dining etc. Not get dictated too that i need to spend $35 daily in the hotel for food. I book a hotel to sleep in and maybe get breakfast. This additional charge was a total CON. To make matters worse the $35 then attracted 2 different taxes, plus tips so it was closer to $50 per day. Not everyone has an extra $250 to spend which they weren't expecting. The location was handy for grand central station, however a 20/25 minute walk from broadway/times square. The whole mandatory fees & excessive tipping left a bad taste in my mouth for the entire city. Everywhere just rips off the tourists to get every penny they can. Im a solo traveller and even when leaving a $15 tip, servers roll their eyes and then change the way they treat you. I was in canada the following week, and their attitude towards customers was so much better. Due the pool not working and hundreds of dollars in "food & beverage" credits I'd say a 7/10

always stay here. upgraded to the duplex. dissatisfied with view. room details said 2000 square feet. room was about 600
- 4/5
It needs an update
- 5/5
it was a very great place to be away from all the traffic and noise so it’s nice and peaceful and on top of that our room had the best views of the city.
- 3/5
Check in was awful long line and not friendly staff. The room was not thoroughly cleaned. Refrigerator had food and spoon left in it. The bathroom tub had hair in it. No bath mat or towels enough for one night. Apparently was cleaned quickly.

The hotel it's sold is nice

It was so beautiful and relaxing we enjoyed our stayed

The room was so spacious. It felt like we had our own NYC apartment. Worth every penny.

Just the room i stayed had some flaws

- 5/5
Awesome!
- 5/5
Great service, my seat was the best seat
- 4/5
The rooms are comfortable & large, great beds, nice enough couch. But room has very little storage aside from a few hangers in the closet. No drawers, so we had to live out of our suitcases. The mini fridge is very mini, but we were happy to have it regardless. It was a little outdated & run down, but it didn’t bother us. Location was close to Grand Central Station for easy subway access & honestly not a long walk from many of the tourist attractions (Times Square, Central Park) We ended up walking a lot! Overall i’d stay again!
- 5/5
Great views. Staff was helpful, despite some system issues on the hotel side. Was lucky enough to find parking on the street, but there were spots around the corner so it wasn’t bad at all. Would definitely stay again
- 4/5
The views from the room were fantastic . The room was a little tired. Great sized room, good bathroom. Overall good. I was shocked at the $100 a day for any damage and $35 plus taxes non refundable but you could spend it in the hotel so not a total loss but it tied you to spend it at the hotel (which was expensive) no upfront warning so be aware before you book
- 5/5
Highly recommend a room with a city view.
- 4/5
Great location as we could walk to Grand Central making it easy to access all areas of the city and JFK. For the price and location, it was a great hotel.
- 5/5
I have here in the place during covid and i love the staff. Cleaniness , and the convenience of the area .
- 1/5
Overall, will never stay in this hotel again.
- 5/5
Both Hilton and the property owners of this asset should realize that the employees/stakeholder/team should realize they are the true assets to this property because they make this exquisite piece of real estate shine brighter than anything in this area🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
- 5/5
I love the area very walkable . Lots of choices and shopping opportunity.
- 5/5
Spectacular property with a tremendous staff.
- 5/5
The corner room was INCREDIBLE! Best hotel room I’ve ever stayed in!
- 4/5
The check in counter needs to have better illumination, should invite to check in and be like airport counter.
- 5/5
It’s maybe a bit of a walk to time square but the bus is close by.
- 4/5
Sunday they didn’t clean the room . In the rest everything was perfect 👌 I recommend it !!!
- 4/5
I did not like some people from the staff: the 2 girl bartenders from the cafeteria (morning shift),the older grumpy guy who did the check-in
- 5/5
Clean and professional. Kind service
- 5/5
5 star, amazing hotel. So clean and safe
- 4/5
Excellent views, great service, spacious full size hotel rooms. If you want a view of Manhattan like I did, the King Corner Deluxe usually only does the East River. Wish I had this info beforehand, but it's really tough to find much information from the hotel's website or online! Was told check each morning at 7AM, so I gave up...otherwise it's a great hotel! Iconic interior!
- 3/5
We arrived at 3pm, the staff at the front refused to give us an early check in.
- 5/5
Property was amazing. Great amenities. Will definitely be my hotel when I visit NYC again!!
- 5/5
The hotel was in a quiet area but easily accessible by car, public transport or by walking. Staff are polite and accessible and always see them with a smile
- 3/5
Let me start by saying the apartment itself was lovely—I was genuinely happy with the accommodation. But unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by what can only be described as a blatant money-grab disguised as a “destination fee.” I had just flown in from the UK and walked straight to the hotel, only to be hit with a $700 charge—that’s over £500. Yes, they try to soften the blow by offering a $35 food credit, but here’s the thing: I came to New York to experience the city, not to be forced into buying hotel food just to justify a fee I never agreed to. I was told if I didn’t use the credit, I’d lose it. That’s not a perk—it’s an inconvenience, and honestly, a bit of a trap. Let’s be clear: An American destination fee—also called a resort or amenity fee—is a mandatory extra charge hotels add to the base room rate, often claiming it covers things like Wi-Fi or fitness center access. These fees are considered a rip-off because they’re not included in the initially advertised price, creating a deceptive bait-and-switch pricing model. The U.S. government—specifically the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)—is now stepping in to change this, pushing for laws that require hotels to show the full price upfront so guests aren’t ambushed at check-in. I’ve stayed in New York many times and have never encountered anything like this. I fully understand and accept taxes or a refundable damage deposit. But this was different—non-refundabl

It was great! The room was clean. The main lobby looks fantastic and the breakfast bar was superb!
- 1/5
Horrible customer service. Bathroom didn’t work. Front desk mixed up my check in and card info with another customer. Requesting a refund and still waiting to hear back from property. I’ve been calling for over a week. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
- 5/5
Amazing honestly the staff made it
- 5/5
Great for 4th holiday stay
- 4/5
Service tax at $35 per night is a bit steep but they are very open and upfront about it, and we offset it with coffees and pastries each morning. Prices a bit steep in the restaurant so we didn’t use, loads of choice nearby (great steak and Sicilian within 5 minutes walk). Nice quiet part of town, obviously a bit further to walk for Times Square and other tourist areas but walking and sightseeing is why you go to NY
- 5/5
All around excellent hotel
- 4/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay! The room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable — perfect for relaxing after a long day. What truly made it unforgettable were the breathtaking views from the windows; waking up to such a beautiful scene each morning was a dream. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, space, and a view that makes your trip extra special!

Good location good suite
- 4/5
Great and spacious rooms. Front desk personnel could do better and be more friendly. Why are they so angry??
- 5/5
Great bellmen! Love Frank and George and the rest of the front lobby staff!

Good Service
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Great location - nice rooms with views. Good experience!
- 5/5
Just a tad too far from Broadway. Many costly cab/uber rides
- 5/5
I thought that I'd booked at the Times Square location in order to be near the theaters where we had tickets. But the mistake was a blessing in disguise. This location was more beautiful and much less hectic than the Times Square location. Shout outs to Vince, Angel, Avery, and the two wonderful ladies at the Ambassador's Dining room on Sunday evening - the bartender and the waitress.
- 2/5
Property is nice. Staff is not helpful, lacks customer service
- 5/5
Hotel is conveniently located to Grand Central Station as well as Park Ave. It felt safe as it was guarded 24x7 with security guard and guard dog. My room was clean and I enjoyed the gym on premises.
- 4/5
We liked the decor, the quietness and location. What we didn't like was the shadyness of the hotel automatically charging guest a food fee everyday whether you use it or not.I think it's $32.00 daily to use at hotel restaurants which charge $25 for (3) pancakes only nothing else included.
- 5/5
Location, personnel and room so clean.
- 5/5
Hotel and Room were Gorgeous.
- 3/5
No pool, no scale, they charge a random $35 daily fee that includes a bike rental and some credit for their cafe. If you are on a tight schedule it’s pointless and unnecessary
- 4/5
Good property. Staff is fine.. but old built. Amenities are not much.. water bottle not provided until asked for.
- 3/5
Internet and TV did not work.
- 5/5
Amazing stay they took care of any issues or request right away clean and great location
- 3/5
Friendly front desk staff but the management was awful. Communication was awful. Valet pricing was not clear when we were told they had valet. FYI if you plan on using valet service, It is $100 per day. Another charge that was not communicated well was $40 per day room and destination charge. There are much better hotels in the area at the total price we ended up paying.
- 3/5
Frigobar was empty and coffee area above it dirty.
- 5/5
The property is in a safe location and the room I had was better than I expected with great service from the cleaning team and some stand out members of staff who went above and beyond. One ruder lady at reception on the last day when I asked for an itemised bill and just to warn other guests; there is a $100 a night holding fee for damages as well as $35 property credit that must be spent in the hotel and if you don’t use it, you still get charged for it.
- 1/5
Even when we asked to speak to a manger about the valet parking the manger came out like he was about to fight! Electric was off when we returned to the hotel at 12am. If I didn’t get a refund for the $923 that I spent for two night I’ll never visit this hotel again !
- 5/5
Excellent service and good central ish location
- 5/5
Nice and quiet
- 5/5
Everything was nice my mother in-law only stayed one night. The only negative thing I can talk about are the restaurant prices extremely over priced for what is offered. Yes I understand location but if you are going to charge upscale prices your food should match in quality.
- 2/5
The Hotel room was good, position central to see NY and the staff were friendly. The problem I had was that the Hotel is less than clear about its charging and so when we left after 5 days I was presented with a Bill which I had not anticipated since I had booked and paid for my stay in advance. The problem is this daily $35 charge plus state and city taxes. From the reading of the Website it looks as if the $35 is included in your ordinary charge but not so its extra. Also the $35 is supposed to be part payment for your daily breakfast but if you do have a Hotel breakfast (not very good) you still get charged extra because the Hotel breakfast costs far more than $35 and is twice the price of breakfast in one of the many cafes near the Hotel and if you don't have the Hotel breakfast you still pay an extra $35 a day so it ends up as a much more expensive Hotel than it seems. Its misleading and frankly verging on dishonest
- 2/5
Expensive. FYI they tac on an extra $300 to ur stay for “taxes”. Coudve got a much better hotel for that cost. Breakfast place kept pushing buffet like they were on commission even though I said NO many times. Hotel doesn’t even have a shuttle. Stay was mediocre. Hotel room was very very basic. Nicest part was lobby. That’s it. Wouldn’t recommend at all.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Good situation in the town, near Grand Central and good amenities ! Employees are really friendly!
- 3/5
Also, the lady at the front desk wasn't very warm or friendly. Not an ideal situation for a weekend stay. I'm a fan of the Hilton hotels and this one was pretty disappointing. Do better please.
- 5/5
Worth every penny.
- 5/5
Great property. Great stay.
- 5/5
Staff are very polite. The property is at convenient location.
- 5/5
Great room, cleanliness 10 👏
- 2/5
Probably the worst Hilton I’ve been in for room cleanliness. Stains and holes in the carpet everywhere. Walls were not that clean. Poor lighting in the bathroom. Tv sitting in the desk so not much room to work.
