Reviews
The Library Hotel is a charming boutique hotel with a unique library theme, offering a convenient location near Grand Central and Broadway. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the second floor lounge with complimentary snacks and beverages. However, some guests find the rooms to be small and the amenities limited, with a few mentioning issues with the TVs and bathrooms.
- Unique library theme

Rooms were very clean, AC was hit or miss, didn't seem to be working at the end of my stay.
- 4/5
Great location, mid-town Manhattan, a block from the famous NY public library, could see it from the room. The library theme was evident everywhere, wish I had time to delve into the many books on offer in the room and elsewhere. Nice bar at the top, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Minimal breakfast offerings but good coffee which is my main objective. Hard to think of anything, was expensive but that's NYC. There was scaffolding around the property which detracted from the views, but was a minor issue.

Great position for sight-seeing (esp. as close to Grand Central. Clean, large enough room with everything we needed. Very comfy bed and quiet enough room. The best thing was the coffee, cans and snacks that were available 24/7 in The Reading Room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Front door services are great.

Front door services are great.

The rooms are little- but you are in NYC to explore, not hang in the room. It’s close to easy cab hailing, restaurants, theater, shopping. The book theme is clever and works great so close to the main branch. I’d love to see other rooms. We’ll return!
- 4.5/5
Location was very convenient. I particularly liked the second floor lounge with free coffee and soft drinks, fruit and croissants. Great place to hang out midst the books. Clever decor. Very friendly and helpful staff My petite room was small, as expected, but quite dark. But clever to use books and bookshelves as decor

Location was very convenient, and the concept with the dewy decimal system, reading room and bookmarks club was just our vibe When we were there scaffolding was all over the windows so had no view; and there was no a/c option at the time, they just had us open the windows

The hotel needs upgraded. The blinds in the room did not work properly.Terrible traffic and construction noises throughout the evening making it almost impossible to sleep. The amenities are great with the guest lounge offering complementary water, snacks drinks throughout the day. However, I could never stay here again. Restaurant was good.
- 4/5
Location. 24/7 lounge with refreshments. Covered in scaffolding. We were never pre-warned. Air conditioning poor. Room lighting insufficient. Street noise meant we could not open windows.
- 4/5
Loved the second floor coffee, snack area, it was nice to get bottled water and snacks at our convenience. The staff was very good at directing and getting us taken care of throughout our stay.

Every employee is friendly and helpful

I love all of the books!! The location down the street from the library was lovely! This place was perfect for me and my daughter for a weekend getaway!

We are repeat visitors to the Library Hotel. It's a charming, comfortable, very well located boutique hotel. We especially appreciate the common rooms: the Reading Room on the 2nd floor is open 24/7. There's a selection of snacks, fruit, soft drinks, coffee/tea. There's a roof top bar and comfortable indoor and outdoor lounges. The staff is friendly and gracious, too. No complaints!

I like the peaceful atmosphere and the book theme throughout the hotel. The library lounge is a favorite. I don't like that there is not a do not disturb sign for the door. I don't like it when housekeeping comes into my room when I don't want them entering.

It is a gracious, comfortable place to stay, wonderfully located. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, and the Reading Room a real plus.
- 5/5
Breakfast was ordered from a menu with a nicely varied selection.
- 4/5
Great location. Nice rooftop deck, 2nd floor lounge was also good for meetings
- 5/5
This hotel was excellent! The staff were all friendly and helpful, and the amenities were so good. The 24 hr. snack room was perfect, and they had an amazing coffee machine we used every day to make espresso drinks. The location was perfect for us, as this was our first trip to NYC, and we were able to get everywhere we needed to get from this central location. I'd book here again in a heartbeat!
- 4.5/5
Great location, clean comfy rooms, friendly staff, lovely food. For the price couldn’t have asked for better. Nothing

Great location, quiet, and very pleasant staff. I tried three Kuerig coffee makers and all were broken. That made my very early am wake-up tough.

Everything was great! Great location
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast, everything we needed in our room, and a whole floor of extras if we missed anything.
- 5/5
The staff was beautifully attentive and helpful. I loved my Stay and will be back.
- 5/5
Rooms are themed based on different literature genres. They have a great second floor with coffee and snacks available. The rooftop lounge was nice. Very close to Grand Central Station.
- 5/5
This stay was beyond our expectations! The staff were the best and tended to any needs we had efficiently and joyfully. This stay was one of the best we’ve ever had. One of the perks we really enjoyed was the Reading Room. We would highly recommend this experience to anyone, but especially book and library enthusiasts. 💜
- 5/5
Amazing hotel!
- 5/5
We had a great time at Library Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit too warm. We loved the Reading Room and the bar on the top floor. The location was also excellent. Convenient to go anywhere! We will be back!
- 5/5
Very convenient to get to all parts of the City. For travellers who don’t know NYC well- the New York public library is a must sto
- 5/5
The room was cold but the staff got me an extra comforter which made sleeping quite cozy.
- 5/5
Fun boutique hotel for book lovers. Around the corner from the Public Library and Grand Central Station- a great walkable location. Each room has a book theme - so ask what topic options you have. General knowledge was fun. 14th floor rooftop bar is awesome. We’ll be back! Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Daily housekeeping provided. Front desk, housecleaning and front door staff were all very friendly and helpful. Really liked the 2nd floor hospitality suite. It was a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing in NYC. Rooms were pretty small, but 2nd floor suite allowed for stretching out with more space. We could hear some street noise, during busy hours at night and morning, but not enough to prevent an enjoyable stay. Location was very convenient. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Location is amazing, near Bryant Park and a short walk from Times Square. Staff was amazing and room was clean. Amenities were great, this is definitely my choice when coming back.
- 5/5
This stay
- 2/5
Nice hotel. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Bring your own bed. What’s that you say? Not to worry if you stay put. But if you roll over, you’ll land on the floor. Not to worry, the general manager assured me that the mattresses are changed yearly. When is that exactly? He apologized that I got hurt.
- 5/5
Clean, well-designed room that works for a single or a couple. Perfect central location. Nice staff. Very hard to beat
- 5/5
What an amazing hotel! Very friendly staff and the 24 hour lounge with books, drinks and snacks is a treasure. We a small issue with our TV not workings they sent someone right up to check it out and then quickly moved us to another room! Definitely returning here for our next NYC stay!
- 5/5
Staff was very courteous and the room was very clean and adequately stocked with amenities
- 5/5
One difficulty - hard for old eyes is how dark the room is. Just a little more light. Nonetheless, we keep coming back to The Library Hotel.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
A great hotel, the staff was wonderful and went above and beyond. We were so pleased with the room and the size of both our rooms.Great location too. Will be back.
- 5/5
Fantastic staff, location and amenities
- 5/5
Great menu choices, eggs Benedict, and other made to order deliciousness

The second floor offers 24 hour snacks, coffee, and water was extremely helpful! Thank you for a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Staff were so nice and helpful. The lounge area with coffee and snacks was great.
- 4/5
All staff was kind and I was welcomed quickly upon arrival. My short stay flowed nicely! The room was cozy and clean. Especially enjoyed the wonderful holiday martini next door at Madison & Vine!
- 4/5
Great location, helpful staff, wonderful restaurant attached
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, clean, and best all of for me - quiet at night!! Will definitely put The Library Hotel on my short list of return hotels.
- 4/5
Staff were excellent. Rooftop bar was nice. 2nd floor coffee and tea 24 hour service in lounge was nice with Snacks of some fruit and nut bars. Bed comfortable. Room very small. No where to sit so the 2nd floor lounge is a good option. Hotel could use some updating. Very convenient to theaters.
- 5/5
Wonderful location, well maintained and excellently staffed! We’ve stayed many times and will return.
- 5/5
Loved this little boutique hotel, great location, close to Grand Central Terminal and Bryant Park, we could get around the city very easily. The decor (book theme) was fabulous and the staff was super friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Wonderful team to help with anything needed for my stay. First rate experience Thank you entire Library Hotel team. 💕
- 5/5
Really wonderful staff especially reception. Loved the clean room and bathroom. Liked the snacks on 2nd floor.
- 5/5
Great location! Staff were all amazing. Great value. Nice rooftop bar. Room was spacious. Free drinks and snacks 24/7 was invaluable.
- 1/5
We were never able to find the place! We called to get directions and ask about parking. The person that answered and was terribly rude because we had called for directions and another time to ask where we are to park. Instead of being helpful he was rude and wouldnt give us directions. We never even found the place, terrible way to treat people who are not local and having trouble. We left the city immediately and will never be back.
- 5/5
Always attentive and willing to help. The restaurant which part of the hotel Also has great service staff. Breakfast is always good with lots of choose. Must admit the petite rooms are very thigh . The rooftop bar is worth a visit but cocktail list is limited. Overall a good hotel.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly - all of them - and the second floor lounge was a perfect spot to hang out and have some downtime. The books made it all feel cozy.
- 5/5
Have had several stays at Library Hotel. Always great.
- 5/5
The staff were lovely and my room was clean and cozy. I absolutely loved the Reading Room. The downstairs restaurant and rooftop lounge were also nice.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 5/5
Everything perfect!
- 3/5
Room was just adequate
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and beautiful! Location is amazing and the charm of the place is wonderful!
- 4/5
Excellent quirky hotel in excellent Manhattan location.
- 5/5
Its also a quiet reading room with many books
- 4/5
Great location and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Exceptionally friendly staff, convenient and quiet location. Pleasant 2nd floor loung with good coffee.
- 3/5
Room was adequate. Hotel is a bit dated but great location and friendly staff.
- 3/5
Needs an update. Old books around give it a old bookstore smell.
- 5/5
I loved my stay. Staff were nice and accommodating. Access to the second floor with seating, snacks and books was a really nice amenity. It was mostly quiet even while some construction is going on during the day. Get midtown location as well, very close to Bryant park and grand central and not too far from theaters and Times Square. Would definitely stay again when back in NYC.
- 2/5
The services provided by this hotel were formerly exceptional and worth the higher price. It had an air of luxury that was appreciated. We always stayed at the Library or Casablanca when in New York. Before covid, a lovely continental breakfast was provided on the second floor as well as wine and cheese at happy hour. Now there are no services provided but a $25 per day resort fee has been imposed. We asked for slippers and were told they would be delivered only to be told later that they had been ordered but there was a delay by the supplier so they were not available. The outside temp at night was in the 40's but the heat had not even been turned on in the hotel. We were given a space heater. Several days later, it appeared that the heat was turned on as our room was too hot. Although there is a thermostat in the room, it does not work and you cannot control the temperature in your room. I needed a pen and paper to jot down the name of a restaurant but none are even provided in the room. There was not even a soap dish in the bathroom. The liquid dispensers in the shower are very difficult to operate. The "free" breakfast now at the restaurant on ground level was not valuable to us. Although we could get a $20 omelette, we could not get a bagel or a latte without paying for it. The staff is still lovely but we won't be returning. When it feels like a chain hotel, we may as well pay the cheaper prices for one. This group of hotels has changed ownership in 2025.
- 3/5
Room was stuffy first night but got better.
- 4/5
Very good hotel.
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Lovely clean rooms, friendly staff and a great extra option of the 2nd floor coffees and treats. Also roof top bar well worth a visit!
- 4/5
Charming boutique Hotel in a good location. The only challenge was there was no AC because the heat was on it was warm. We had to open our windows and thus noisy other than that. It was a great place to stay.
- 4/5
I liked the books and the idea. The room was too hot and I wasn't able to turn down the heat. The room was noisy from the traffic and building sites outside.
- 5/5
This was the perfect location to walk to the NY Public Library, Bryant Park, Broadway, Times Square and Rockefeller Center.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with a library feel. Great friendly staff, clean and welcoming. Rooftop top was exceptional and great drink menu with amazing appetizers. Highly recommend this exquisite hotel near both train stations.
- 5/5
Staff was exceptional across all areas. Friendly, smiling, engaging, and it all appeared sincere.
- 5/5
We had a very pleasant stay at the Library. Its cute, the rooftop bar was awesome. It's was a good location for all our activities. The 24 hour coffee/snack reading room is a huge bonus! The restaurant was awesome. This was my 3rd time staying and I'll stay there next time as well.
- 5/5
Amazing experience. Wish the Bookmarks menu was a little more robust with options. Also, needs to make note of allergens. Will definitely return.
- 5/5
We liked the library concept with all the books, the open lounge with coffee, tea and snacks as great- my husband would haves like half and half of the coffee but did fine without it. The staff was pleasant, helpful and professional
- 1/5
There was someone using a jack hammer out side our window from 9:30 to 5:00 pm all 4 days. We requesed to be moved twice and were told that the only rooms like ourd were above us or below us so the noise would be the same. Fine, why not offer to move us to a different type of room. We ended up leaving 4 hour early and just hung out in the airport. What a waste of $725.00 a night.
- 5/5
Unique: each room has a literature theme (e.g., history, nature, business, even erotic literature!) which made it fun and a great conversation piece. The lounge with coffees, teas, waters, juices, fruits and snacks was super convenient (and essential given the room does not have coffee machine) and is also a nice library and lounge. Staff was helpful. The restaurant on the main floor was very good for breakfast and dining.
- 5/5
The rooftop bar is great for drinks or a light meal, while the residents' lounge was handy for coffees, snacks and soft drinks. We hadn't realised we had breakfast included - well worth it as the restaurant did a decent variety of options...and was also excellent in the evening if you didn't want to leave the hotel after a long day sightseeing. I would pick the Library Hotel again if I come back to NYC
- 5/5
This is a lovely hotel in a great area for public transportation and is just steps away from Grand Central Station. The only drawback was the very loud construction work on the building being conducted through October according to the permit posted. The loud grinding or drilling noise vibrated in my room during the time I was there during the day.
- 4/5
Older boutique hotel close to Bryant park. Hotel in good condition and clean with nice rooftop bar, snack area and restaurant. Price is very high for what you get with a small room. Hotel also under heavy repairs/ maintenance so hidden by all the scaffolding.
- 3/5
Very disappointing. Not worth the price. Room extremely small. TV small and hard to see. Bed uncomfortable. “Free” breakfast (except for the tip we had to pay) ordinary and tasteless. Bathroom tiny and seemed out of the 1980s. I was expecting so much more for the price we paid. Will never come back to a Library hotel again.
- 4/5
Carpet was very dirty
- 5/5
This hotel was a short walk to restaurants and many attractions. It was located in a safe area and had many great amenities. One of our favorite was 24 hr access to beverages and snacks on the second floor. We will be returning again.
- 5/5
Great as always!
- 5/5
Nice small hotel with a fine restaurant and roof top bar.
- 5/5
We loved having 24 hr access to the 2nd floor for coffee, beverages and snacks.
- 5/5
This was our first time staying at the Library Hotel and we will definitely be returning whenever we visit New York. It is centrally located and walking distance to broadway shows. The second floor had snacks, coffee, waters and beverages that made it convenient to get 24 hrs a day. All of the staff that we encountered were extremely courteous and made our week long stay enjoyable.
- 5/5
The hotel was so cozy and staff was helpful and attentive to our needs with a car, parking and luggage! The room was clean and so cozy! The rooftop bar was perfect for. Beautiful summer night and drinks were made perfect by the staff. The reading room on the second floor was a nice and special place to relax. We shall return!
- 5/5
That said..! Once we got in- beautiful hotel and room, check in and service were great. Quaint feeling in a big city with a nice rooftop bar. Each room has a cute theme- made for great conversation starters with our group on business travel. I’d stay again for sure.
- 5/5
Library Hotel was a great stay! Rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice little library-related touches. Loved that we had fruit-infused water, water bottles and fruit and snacks and a casual place to hang out in the Reading Room - it could have been even better if there were more cushy couches/arm chairs but every hotel definitely needs a reading room! Thanks for a great stay!
- 5/5
Great property and enjoyed stay immensely.
- 5/5
Thoroughly enjoyed my short stay here. I was in the "Management" room on the 6th floor. Small, but more than ample. Books everywhere, which was a delight. Also enjoyed time in The Reading Room area and the Bookmarks Lounge. Would most definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very cozy comfortable rooms
- 5/5
We had a lovely time at the Library Hotel. It’s very cozy place with a great rooftop bar and a nice lounge with snacks, tea, coffee, and soft drinks included. Best of all it’s a very short walk to Bryant Park, Grand Central, the theater district, and it’s easy to get any where in the city from the location.
- 5/5
Would like better access to ice. Would have liked extended checkout
- 5/5
We switched hotels and came here. The room was cleaning, service was great, and amenities were incredible.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Staff was super friendly & helpful. Great location, very walkable & centrally located. Would stay here again when visiting NYC.
- 5/5
We loved the books and especially the reading room. The staff were wonderful and helpful.
- 4/5
Huge drawback is the breakfast which I paid for fit 5 nights- everything tastes like cardboard, mediocre coffee, terrible bread. In addition they add an unannounced charge “resort” fee for WiFi and a depressing room they call a lounge with coffee and a few cold drinks- definitely not worth $25 per day and a devious and semi illegal practice.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly, room super comfortable, quiet, close to all we needed.
- 5/5
Amazing time! Will stay again. Would also just go back even for the rooftop experience! My book club had an amazing time here and we stood for 4 days!
- 5/5
Front desk service was great. Very accommodating.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel, like staying in an exclusive dinig club. I loved the quirkiness of the rooms and the lounge and the staff were genuine and welcoming. Great location for mid manhattan. I would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Great staff and nice rooms.
- 5/5
It was a great stay and very courteous staff!
- 5/5
Great stay with my daughter for a fun weekend in the city.
- 5/5
I love this hotel! It is comfortable, quiet, and very relaxing. All of the staff was very kind and accommodating. Being surrounded by books is like being in heaven! It is my favorite getaway!
- 4/5
Comfortable beds. Small but efficient rooms.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel with exceptional staff. Highly recommend
- 5/5
Love all the books in every room.
- 5/5
Arrived less than an hour after landing at LaGuardia and catching a cab. Able to check in early- room was small but had plenty on room for two of us and our suitcases. Decor was cute, and loved the blackout shade. Nice size shower - easy to turn on and figure out- nice water pressure. Lots room for toiletries. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Felt safe walking with my tean daughter. Walked Daily to broadway for shows. Loved the 2nd floor had free coffee every morning there and grabbed free water from the frig- very convenient to have a place to just sit! Our last morning we walked to Grand Central easily to catch a train. Staff very helpful and nice. Already booked another stay.
- 5/5
Loved the reading room and jazz library ambience! Highly recommend the breakfast voucher
- 5/5
Very unique, wonderful location for my trip plans, and excellent, courteous staff. There's a great restaurant on site and a rooftop bar as well.
- 5/5
Highly recommend!
- 5/5
It was a great trip!
- 4/5
Good location. Close to grand central. Lots of road work noise. Comfortable room and amenities.
- 5/5
Good find! Great location. Good services and amenities. Annetive staff. A place for people who enjoy reading.
- 5/5
The Library is very conveniently located, with a professional and polite staff. It is very clean and well maintained. The books in the rooms are a nice touch as is the availability of light snacks and drinks in the reading room. A note of caution- the petite room IS petite and ok for short stays for 1 person but not more.
- 5/5
Back for sure!
- 5/5
Great hotel in a great location!
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
Very good location to shop and eat. Fairly close to Central Park as well.
- 5/5
Book lovers will love it. Good location too.
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay in a great location. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The library was so nice, especially being able to grab snacks and drinks after walking around the city. Breakfast was good every morning and the coffee was so good!
- 4/5
It was fine. Small room but staff very nice. Rooftop bar nice. Adjacent restaurant was really good.
- 5/5
Perfect
- 5/5
Clean hotel, easy check in, friendly staff, great lounge with snacks and coffee. Perfect location.
- 5/5
Great places. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel
- 5/5
We loved the second floor dining area and the wonderful location. We will be coming back! thank you!
- 5/5
I love ❤️ this property
- 5/5
Excellent service, great staff, and a great location
- 5/5
Nice location Close walking distance to many attractions
- 5/5
Fun, quirky hotel with excellent restaurant and rooftop bar. Reading room is wonderful. Rooms small, but well organized.
- 5/5
Fabulous unique hotel with scholarly books in every room and a rooftop bar.
- 2/5
The doorman was fantastic and that’s about it.
- 5/5
Great location ! Staff were extremely friendly and helpful ! Breakfast was lovely ! The lounge area where tea/ coffee and snacks were available was a real bonus !
- 5/5
Everything about our stay met or exceeded our expectations. I especially liked the 2nd Floor lounge and 1 pm checkout.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 2/5
When I turned on the shower...Brown water came out and the drain was semi plugged and slow for the water to drain. At the end of my shower I was standing in 5" of water. I told the front desk and was told that is normal. I was expecting a discount for the inconvenience. I let them know of this issue after the first night of my 3 day stay. I left disappointed. For the money I spent per night, I was expecting better hospitality.
- 5/5
It’s a beautiful small hotel. I love the rooftop garden and it has a beautiful library café.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the Library Hotel. It was small with very friendly helpful staff. They had a lovely lounge floor where there was fresh coffee, water, snacks, fresh fruit available 24/7. The floors all had literary themes and each room a genre within that theme with books galore inside! It was quite charming.
- 5/5
The beds were comfortable, and I loved the small size of the hotel and the library themed rooms
- 3/5
Noisy, rooftop bar closed
- 5/5
We loved the library theme and especially the lounge area where we could rest and regroup with our adult children in between adventures. The room was cozy and comfortable.
- 5/5
Wanted a quiet yet convieient hotel without many amenities as I was visiting a friend. No kids or loud patrons.
- 5/5
Such a beautiful, cozy, inspiring hotel that has such lovely features such as the reading room and rooftop garden.
- 2/5
This property has lost its soul. The service on 2nd floor, which was so iconic to hotel, is gone; the room interior was worn out and dated; and the resort fee is a joke. Very sad for someone how has stayed for so many years.
- 5/5
I spent a weekend here and enjoyed my stay. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The location is excellent. Right next to Grand Central Station. If you’re flying into JFK you can take the LIRR directly to Grand Central which is especially convenient. You are within walking distance of many of the City’s top attractions. The rooms were nice and functional. However they are very small and have some wear and tear. But that’s the case with most of nyc’s hotels. They have a relaxing and comfortable lounge on the 2nd floor with coffee, fruit, and snacks. They also have roof top bar which is pretty cool.
- 5/5
Wonderful little boutique hotel.
- 5/5
Highly recommend! The staff was wonderful, and the hotel very clean and well-kept. We loved that there was the 2nd floor reading room filled with books, tables to work from, and 24 hours of beverages and snacks. We weren't so thrilled with the first-floor restaurant. The roof bar had great appetizers and a wonderful staff. Close to everywhere we needed to be and out of all the major noise and congestion of the City. We will be visiting again, as well as their other hotels.
- 5/5
The ambience was lovely, the reading room so beautiful and civilized, the staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was charming and perfect. Thank you!
- 5/5
Rooms were roomy (for nyc) and perfect location. 2 blocks from Bryant park and 3-4 to Times Square. 2 blocks from 5th Avenue. Rooftop bar drinks were delicious and space was welcoming and fun. Could not have asked for better service with check in/ check out. Great value for a fabulous hotel.

The Library Hotel in Manhattan is a very nice property. The best thing about our stay was the front desk staff. They were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was nice but there is very little indoor lighting and the weather was very dreary on our trip so it seemed dark. The value for the location and property was very good. I would stay there again.

Checkin was easy and efficient. Hotel is small and perfect. Quiet, quick elevators, great location, rooms are big and well equipped. 10 out of 10!

Loved that they had a longe on floor 2 that you can relax and have complimentary refreshments and snacks. Very nice restaurant downstairs and rooftop bar.

The indoor architecture was unique. It was nice to stay there. But we still could hear the noise of outside traffic.

Very happy with our stay here. Great location and very good on site restaurant. The snack area was much appreciated too (included in the additional daily resort fee). Very walkable to Rockefeller Center and Times Square and Broadway shows, as well as very quick walk to Grand Central station to catch the subway to everywhere else we wanted to go.

Loved the hotel actually. Was charged a $100 resort fee when checking out. I asked about any added fees when I checked in and was told there weren’t any.

Came to NYC for a family wedding. The room was small but had a king bed and was comfortable. Loved the second floor library lounge with coffee and snacks. The rooftop bar was awesome. Dislike the added Resort fee as it is a Hotel and not a resort.

It is another home in New York for us. We always book this hotel. Great atmosphere of liberty, nice location and great staff. Especially the lounge in 2nd floor is very useful, we have coffee and soda anytime and it’s free. We love this place so much!
