We got a room that was cheap The fact that there is a "karaoke" club attached to the hotel which blasts music all night into the early morning.

Very dirty, stains on every sheet and blanket, the curtains were filthy, toilets unclean, stoppers in the sink didn’t work, sinks wouldn’t drain, the whole place smelled disgusting, staff wouldn’t refund us, walls were paper thin.
- 2/5
The hotel is also around the corner from a bar that plays music quite loudly on Fridays and Saturday nights One of the residents during my stay had a few mental health issues and was constantly screaming and shouting at night which kept me up but that isn’t on the hotel however I’m not sure if the staff were aware or done anything about it as this happened for the duration of my stay. The pillows are also the size of couch cushions and they do not have clean covers I was there for four nights at around $800 and if I’m being honest, it was not worth the price however for that price range in New York City it’s what you’re going to expect
- 2/5
The room was dirty. The bed sheets had stains on them.

Every time I left to explore the city, I would come back to a clean and comfortable room. The staff was always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, always greeting us with smiles. I also really appreciated how easy and stress-free they made visits with guests compared to other hotels. Overall I had a wonderful stay and felt very welcomed here 😊

The surrounding area felt dirty, and while the staff was friendly enough, the overall atmosphere of the hotel was uncomfortable. The entire building constantly smelled like weed and just downright terrible. There was a lot of traffic in and out of rooms throughout the night, and we witnessed people booking rooms for just a few hours at a time…. The room itself had several issues. The sheets were very thin and there wasn’t even a fitted sheet—just a flat sheet placed over the bed. There was also an unfinished patch on the wall and part of the door was missing, which made us feel uneasy about safety and maintenance. On top of that, the toilet ran constantly, which was both annoying and made it hard to sleep. There is also a nightclub downstairs that you can hear booming all night. The walls are paper thin, and other guests seemed to stay up blasting music and yelling as well. The noise truly did not stop for the entire four nights we were there, making it very difficult to get any rest. Another thing to be aware of: housekeeping comes in daily to change towels and restock toilet paper, even if you’re not in the room, so keep that in mind if you value privacy. Overall, I would not recommend staying here and would not choose this hotel again.
- 5/5
Small but very comfortable. Nice people.
- 1/5
The facility is old. There is spit in the elevator and stairs down to the hotel. The toiletries are poor, the size of the soap is a little bigger than a SIM card. You cannot make local calls from the room phone. The curtains were mildewed. If I could give half of 1 star, I would.
- 1/5
Workers attitude was terrible and unfriendly no parking paid about $34 for parking.
- 1/5
They got roaches, toilet didn’t work, Ac didn’t work
- 1/5
The sheets were dirty . I have pictures of it . The tub wasn’t clean .
- 1/5
Room wasn’t clean. Graffiti on the door. Poor front desk management.
- 3/5
The bathroom wasn’t up to par. Toilet didn’t flush correctly. Sink also wasn’t working properly. Besides that no other real complaints. Other toiletries would’ve been nice too.

It is definitely a budget stay, but nothing horribly wrong with the rooms. There could be better design. For example, there is just small walking way around all sides of the bed and its metal from top to bottom. You can't fit anything under the bed like luggage, which would have been nice for a small room. There aren't any hooks by the door to store coats either. I feel like these small changes could go a long way. But check-in was easy and things felt safe.
- 1/5
Will never stay there again. Small and dirty.
- 2/5
Honestly regret that I did not stay across the street at the Holiday Inn Express.
- 1/5
Room was terrible. There was a smell of mold in the room, and there was graffiti on the wall behind the bed! When I flushed the toilet it started making a noise that went on for about an hour. Would not recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
It was good hope to come back there someday
- 2/5
It is a budget hotel—that said, the room was clean, but the mattress and pillows were lumpy, and there was a strong smell of fried onions coming in the room from the heat vent after 6 am. Also, the check in desk is located behind a safety glass wall, and you hand your id and cards through a window. The elevator is open to anyone to use it (not just whoever has a room key), and the security lock on my door had been removed (I could lock it, but only with a regular lock, that could be opened from outside).
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and kind.
- 5/5

- 2/5

- 1/5

The room was nasty and it was the absolutely worst room I ever had and I checked out the same night I checked in and found another hotel to stay at.

- 1/5
The room was very comfortable and very clean. However they did not have continental breakfast after paying almost $700 for three nights. There was banging constantly coming from upstairs all night long and I could not connect to the WiFi.

- 4/5
Decent budget pick. Ac, tv, bed, microwave, mini fridge were all great. Only thing I didn't like was that room service came in every day (there didn't seem to be a "do not disturb" sign to hang anywhere), and they changed the towels but didn't leave any extra soap. I'm talking those tiny little squares that cost under a dollar. So you need your own shampoo, and if staying more than 1-2 days your own body wash. Also saw one or two water bugs but those are fairly common...so idk. The area is ok but I didn't find many food options that really intrigued me. I had to travel for most stuff and that involved at least one transfer every time. But you may find it suitable that's a little subjective.

This place is the worse place I ever seen ! Customer Service was horrible .. avoid this place at all cost ! This place is disgusting
- 4/5
I had a good experience. Traveling is becoming to be so expensive. So to find a hotel that is a 3 star hotel especially in New York for a less than $250 for one night. Is a reward. It was clean and the 2 guys in the office were cool.
- 2/5
It felt moldy and dirty.
- 2/5

- 1/5
Not good
- 1/5
Unfortunately, the photos shown were not the same as the room we were given. There was a weird smell, no toilet paper in the bathroom - the shower was disgusting. Dirty walls and floor. Location is not in the greatest area. We checked in and lasted an hour and a half, we were very uncomfortable and uneasy, fortunately, minus a $50 cancellation fee we were refunded.
- 1/5
It was no room available
- 2/5
There were very limited food options around the property. There was a lot of warehouses and other small businesses around the property. The bed was ok. There were cockroaches in the room and the floor was a little dirty. The front desk staff didn't seem to understand some of the guests and got people confused.
- 5/5
It was clean and people friendly
- 3/5
This is NOT a smoke-free property. The room was a weird cut up set up. It was not filthy but not clean either. People were fine. Area is fine. It just stunk.
- 5/5
This place was affordable and nice for the price. It’s definitely a 3 star hotel. However it worked. The tv was little and we needed more bed linens. But was not bad at all.
- 2/5
Toilet made lots of noise after flushing. Room not as clean as I would have liked. Very limited parking. Free wifi did not work very well. The person working at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. For the cost of this hotel it was underwhelming.
- 1/5
The staff are best nasty n rude
- 3/5
The room condition did not match the description provided during the booking.
- 3/5
They were good with the room assignment, due to a higher rate, top floor, angled view of lower downtown Manhattan
- 1/5
There’s roaches here- we found some 06/14/2025. We got refunded and went across the street to holiday inn express and had no problems there. There were bugs on the furniture but we killed them. The two pics are two more we found in the bathroom. The front desk attendant was polite when refunding our money.
- 5/5
WOW! All things considered, I’ve stayed over the past year at a few random, with a Google search, affordable hotels for unplanned over night stays in the Brooklyn / NYC areas. Adding this hotel 1st time stay this year stood out among many others. In that I was treated really nicely from my initial inquire via a phone call follow-up after just booking on line via EXPEDIA. To a go out of the way receptionist at an early morning hour who made sure personally I was literally guided into an inside the clean building’s parking spot — It was truly beyond regular customer service for the star level that this affordable hotel is categorized. HIGHLY and BRAVO RECOMMENDED! It will become my go to place in the hood. Thank you!
- 1/5
They need to upgrade the carpet the whole run looks old n rundown
- 1/5
This was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever encountered. We traveled for leisure. Looking at the pictures when booking, it seemed like a decent acceptable hotel. When we got there and checked in, and went to our room, I was totally disgusted at the state of the room. Especially for the money we paid for the room. It looked like a dump. The room was smelly and dirty and not clean at all. The room was totally unacceptable. We went down to reception to complain. They gave us a somewhat better room. Still smelly and not clean.
- 1/5
Room did not have a pleasant smell when you walk in. Thanks goodness we had lysol..next morning woke up and saw roach in the bathroom. We stayed one night and never again.
- 1/5

- 2/5
The place was very clean and a little above average. You have to provide your cups for ice because they don't provide cups or ice bucket. Not a happy camper about that.
- 4/5
Reasonably priced. Clean room. Friendly front desk person. Short walk to the subway. Thumbs Up

These people were very kind to me and treated me like a queen and I will definitely be back
- 3/5
I Didn't like the smell in the room and the bathroom was not the greatest, needs work, also the bed made me feel itchy and there was a couple in another room fighting and screaming late at night.
- 5/5
Very nice for the price cozy stay I enjoyed the peace and quiet the view is nice on 5th floor could be alittle cleaner but

It was impossible to rest as there was a terrible smell of dead rat.

- 3/5
The front desk staff were nice and helpful, however the state of the room itself was not very good. There was mold on the curtains of the bathroom, stains on the bed sheets, and also it looked like the floors hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Also a lot of marks on the wall too. Honestly we tried to avoid staying in the room too long. Also they forgot to service our room one night, and we had to ask for clean sheets/towels late at night and change it ourselves.
- 2/5
Not very well kept
- 1/5
The worst hotel I lived in
- 2/5
Not sure if it has anything to do with me being from a rural area but the noise was a bit overwhelming. Phones ringing loudly in the middle of the night and cleaning ladies working late with little to no regard for sleeping guests.
- 3/5
It was honestly a nice little stay, they could however do some very small simple things to improve the rooms. A good deep cleaning, replacing missing or damaged outlet covers, repainting trimming, replacing the cheap glitchy TV with a cheap not glitchy TV. It was nice that there were plenty of USB outlets, that's frankly an issue I've had with several hotels I've stayed at recently, surprising in this day and age. Overall good for a cheap emergency stay.
- 1/5
Rooms not as advertised, rooms were dirty, bathroom had mold
- 2/5
No good
- 5/5
Staff was great and very helpful, comfortable room
- 3/5
The staff provided a great service, but the room was not in the best condition. The bathroom had mold and there were roaches in the room. I could also consistently hear noises from the hallway, while I was inside the room. Location is very convenient since it is near a metro station and has food places nearby.
- 3/5
It was just ok.
- 2/5
Shockingly overpriced, Knights Inn teeters on the edge between urban street chic and flop house. It's obviously being used as "temporary" housing for families with adults and kids who never seem to sleep. The rooms are very down at the heel, furnished with worn out stuff, thread bare linen, and very tired climate control. The staff however is friendly and responsive, and the five car garage with a locking entrance door is a comfort, once you've squeezed in.
- 2/5
Dirty and expensive
- 5/5
Very nice Hotel
- 1/5
STAY AWAY!!! HORRIBLE!!!
- 1/5
This would b the second time I stay in the king inn and the first time the toilet wast working no ice bucket ! No internet or slow internet. This time there was roches and we could leave food on the desk. Roches everywhere on the bed in bathroom. And I spoke to the front desk to look in to that it’s bad for there review it really not worth 201$ for a night .
- 5/5
They have great stuff and they clean
- 1/5
Leading up to check in the hotel called me 3xs to ask me what time i was coming. Beginning at 1pm. (Felt like i was being harrassed) I informed them i was on the road and was omw. The pictures make the rooms look much better than they are in real life. Its actually a ran down building and very outdated. The room was very hot and the ac was not properly working. There were no rags and towels in the room. When i notified them it took almost a hour for room service to come. When they finally came they brought 2 towels and 2 rags that were actually towels they were cut and made into rags. That was very tacky. Overall not a good experience.
- 2/5
Convenient
- 2/5
Rooms are tiny. Space is limited unlike in photos. Areas and room were dirty and restroom wasnt cleaned. Only stayed/ kept one night. Checked out early and went across the street to holiday inn instead.
- 3/5
I have no idea how this place could justify the cost for the experience. Horribly small sized rooms, dirty, extremely dated decor, faulty electricity in the bathroom, broken hair dryer, horrible looking garage space, etc. Even in NYC, I’d expect this to be a bottom priced hotel. Front desk people were fine enough.

I walk into my room with my husband and their was a roach walking up the curtain and when I asked for a refund they told me no I have to contact hotels.com but I paid with the hotel not hotel.com so they eventually gave my money back because I was screaming they have roaches

Room was very good. Though the walls were a little chippy, the room was comfortable. Not much room to walk around the bed, but the room was fine for me. The king size bed was nice and very comfortable.

- 1/5
There was sand in the sheets.
- 3/5
The staff and service were really friendly and nice, but the room was somehow dirty, old towels, dirty floor, black hairs all over the bathroom (I’m a blonde) and in general the place needs maintenance, looks really old, when you take a bath the bathroom gets flooded, we ask three times for more soap, toilet paper and two extra towels and we never received any, the location is good the metro station is a few steps away, but the place needs a lot of improvements.

- 3/5
Would not recommend to someone who is looking for comfort.
- 3/5
Staff are always friendly and accomodating, but the rooms are not clean. Of course, the toilet and sink get cleaned, but if u look, there's dirt in all the less obvious spots, plus stains on doors and walls, and roaches every time.
- 2/5
It was dirty and smelly rooms, no coffee or tea maker in room. Sheets had to be changed to be able to sleep. Had an allergic reaction and broke out in rash, to the room.
- 3/5

This place is ok for what it is. There was no security box, so be aware. No tissue paper as well. It is kinda noisy as well. But if you are looking for a place where you want to get some sleep safely, this is not a bad choice at all. The neighborhood is relative safe as well.
- 1/5
The room and hotel was filthy , mold on the curtains the maid only came one time so we had a bu ch of trash and no towels I had to go ask for them and to take the trash out. It smelled like cigarettes even tho it’s a “non smoking” just horrible.
- 5/5
There overnight was great so clean staff was kind and very helpful with finding places to eat and places to go.
