However, check-in was a disaster. We arrived early in the morning and completed the check-in process, but the rooms were not ready yet, which was totally normal. When we returned at 3:30 PM, the line was extremely long, and it took forever for each guest. Luckily, since we had already checked in earlier, the manager helped us skip the line and retrieve our room keys, which had already been prepared. We arrived on a Saturday, and the check-in line remained long until at least 4:30 PM. Plan ahead if you’re arriving during busy hours!

The location of the Hyatt Regency is outstanding due to its proximity to subway stations and theaters! The property is clean, updated, and the room size is huge by New York standards. The staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. We had our room serviced/cleaned every day of our stay, which is rare these days. There was coffee available in the lobby and an on-site restaurant. We did not use the restaurant, but it did seem to be nice. We even had a partial water view!I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great experience in Times Square with proximity to transportation, theaters, and restaurants. As long as you can stand the hustle and bustle of Times Square, this is a great stay, and I cannot recommend it enough!
- 3/5
There is no microwave at the hotel. Not a single on. Very disappointing
- 3/5
Our stay was nice love that location the cleanliness the staff is friendly especially Junior. He was the friendliest face greeting us in the front, helping us to our room. He went above and beyond, however, unfortunately the food service was not the best. There was no microwave in the rooms. There was no microwave downstairs and the breakfast options were poor and the evening dining was extremely long with their wait time.

Best Hotel to stay in broadway close to everything you want to do in Time square. Price is pretty high but is still the best.
- 4/5
The rooms were and clean and had been remodeled and had an upscale look. However, there was absolutely no water pressure in the shower - it was just a trickle. Since we stayed only one night, we did not complain. This has to be fixed - otherwise, I don't see us staying here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was amazing. Walking distance to everything. Rooms were spacious and we had an amazing view.
- 5/5
The only thing wrong with the hotel was that on the 41st floor the shower water pressure was a trickle.

Love this hotel. Clean and comfortable. Right at Times Square and easily accessible by metro. Walking distance to many attractions. We love to walk so perfect hotel if you’re looking for clean place to sleep. Will def book again.

Good ambience once you get in My reservation was a little chaotic. I arrived at the property around 7 and my room wasn’t ready. It appears the 2 queen bed I paid for might have been overbooked. Eventually we were upgraded to a suit a 30min later but we needed 2 queens which was what we reserved originally. (Room for 4 adults)We were advise the suit had a pull out bed which turns out it didn’t after speaking to the maintenance man. He later brought us a pull out beed for the room but it was a twin size. With two grown adults for a twin bed you could imagine the struggle.

Loved my stay here, the perfect taste of luxury within the concrete jungle.
- 5/5
The ac didn’t work. The shower was cold half the time. My room was missing the table. The curtain rod didn’t work properly. But all in all
- 2.5/5
Location was excellent. Housekeeping did not bother to tidy up the room for two days; when reported, they came to do a quick clean-up in the evening, when guests should have the option to rest at that time. Nonetheless, the on-site manager was very professional and handled my issue well.

It was very nice and cold once you came in from a hot day. Kept us stocked with free waters 4 per day. Right in the middle of time square which was nice. Everything around in short walking distance. The bathroom floors weren’t swept that great but all good.

Didn't have breakfast there. The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The staff was very friendly. The showers didn't have enough water pressure coming from them.
- 2/5
The location Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was disappointing and fell well below the standards I would expect from a Hyatt property. The staff appeared uncoordinated and insufficiently trained, creating a sense of chaos throughout the hotel. Communication was poor, and several team members seemed unsure of how to interact professionally with guests. There was also an excessive amount of shouting and noise among staff, which negatively impacted the guest experience. The overall customer journey and operational flow felt more in line with a 3-star hotel than a 4-star property, particularly considering the rates being charged. There appeared to be a lack of direction, organization, and effective management, resulting in an inconsistent and frustrating experience. Breakfast was especially disappointing. The process was poorly communicated and inadequately managed, leading to confusion, overcrowding, and a complete breakdown in service during peak times. It felt disorganized and unprepared for the number of guests being served. Overall, the hotel needs significant improvement in staff training, operational management, and guest service delivery. Based on this experience, the property is not currently operating at the level of quality and professionalism typically associated with Hyatt standards.

Always an excellent stay at the Hyatt !!! I wouldn’t book anywhere else!!! Love how close it is to bridal and all the food choices and other entertainment!!!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in the heart of the city! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will stay again on my next visit!
- 5/5
Great location and nice amenities, especially for the price and location.
- 5/5
The hotel is conveniently located in Time Square!
- 3/5
The bathroom was dirty. There was hair in the shower. The was no iron or iron board in the room. I had to call to get one delivered to my room. Also, to be such an expensive hotel, there was no microwave. That is totally unacceptable!

I loved how close it was to Times square, and the Theater we were seeing our show at . I did not like that there was not a microwave in the room, but it was not a deal breaker, just something to think about .
- 4/5
This hotel was truly great. I will say that the only complaint I could find on this hotel was when speaking with the front desk at check in, we asked about getting a room with a good view as it was my 16 year old niece’s first time to the city and and instead of looking to see if there was an upgraded room to purchase with a view, she immediately snapped “well I can only give you the room you paid for.” I have never had a problem with getting upgrades in a hotel if they are available and willing to purchase. We unfortunately got stuck looking into the windows of another building so we had to keep our windows closed at night. Like I said, the only complaint and it’s really a first world problems, just felt she was the kindest or accommodating in that conversation. Hotel was great and in a perfect location if you are wanting to be in Times Square- a room with a view would have been amazing
- 5/5
This was the perfect place to stay. Beds were super comfortable, rooms were clean and a great size. The location could not have been better!
- 4/5
Once we got the right room it was beautiful. Lobby was lovely with live music, an artist, happy hour specials at the bar, comfy rooms, great location, friendly staff We paid for a times square view but did not receive one initially. Had to go back down and speak with multiple people before getting rooms switched. The receptionist was trying to state that none of the rooms really have a true times square view. If that is the case then they should not be charging more and advertising for the rooms that clearly state "times square view". They ended up giving us a corner room with a great view...of...Times Square!

I have never in my life been able to sleep the first night in a hotel or anywhere that is not my own bed. The beds are so comfortable and the noise level is so well maintained, that I was actually able to sleep! We only stayed one night, but if we’re ever in the city, we will definitely stay here again! The parking and location was super convenient too.

Location is great, bang on time square. Room was decent for 2 adults and 2 children. We had the biggest TV I have seen in a hotel room, I guess it was a 75" TV! Channels were good. Bath and facilities were good. Beds were comfortable. Over all good. There was a nice table and chairs. Time square view was great. No (food or beverages) room service, kettle in room, coffee to make in room. No iron or ironing table.

The only thing I like was the view but the room was not clean. The cleaner would come inside the room and clean but leave all the trash and even their own cleaning supplies inside. There was hairs everywhere, even though every hotel offer free breakfast but this was you have to buy package
- 5/5
Perfect!
- 4/5
Location. It's right smack in the middle of most broadway shows. Some parts of the room wasn't so clean like the filter in the toilet was full of dirt!
- 4/5
The hotel is nice and clean. the location is good for first timers seeking to live the NYC experience and time square the room has no coffee or tea maker. we were told upon arrival that we will receive free water every day but this didn't happened and i had to call ask for the water which was met with lots of surprise from the staff.
- 4/5
Very good hotel with a great location for broadway shows!
- 5/5
Loved my experience with this hotel! Staff, cleanliness, hospitality was a 10/10. Everything about this hotel, during our stay was excellent. It was pretty easy to find the hotel as well. Very good experience, would stay again if we had more plans in Times Square.
- 4/5
Updated and clean. No coffee maker or microwave. If you wanted to have food or coffee you have to take the elevator and buy from their market or some outside place. It’s nice having a coffee maker in room & a microwave to heat up left overs. Also, we were on the 30th floor it took 20 minutes on the weekend waiting for a down elevator to go get coffee. We ended just getting on an up moving one just to make it downstairs eventually. Bottom line. A coffee maker in room would’ve seriously been nice.
- 5/5
The staff and cleaning crew are amazing. I'm thankful to hotels.com for helping me find a last minute place to stay in New York NY.

Beautiful room and hotel. Would have preferred a traditional buffet breakfast.
- 5/5
Cleanliness was excellent, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff provided great service whenever we needed assistance. The location was great and very enjoyable, especially since I was traveling with my two daughters, aged 18 and 19. There was nothing I didn't like about my stay.
- 5/5
I liked how modern it was and how close it was to Times Square. The window could not be closed all the way so sound from the streets bothered my sleep
- 5/5
This was my second stay at the Hyatt Regency Times Square this year. Staff, room, cleanliness and location are all fabulous! My room was on the 40th floor and you can’t hear any noise from Times Square. The king size bed and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is very quiet. I will be back in October and again in December. NA

We took Amtrak into Union Station (Moynahan Station). And walked onto the red C1 subway line which was a two stop trip to the exit on 50th St., one and a half blocks from the Hyatt. They do not offer a breakfast option, but we walked right across the street to Junior’s restaurant, as well as the Stardust Diner, and I couldn’t say enough about how wonderful their meals were. Walking to theater district, Times Square, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and the subway was all less than eight minutes in all directions. My son enjoyed the weight room, which was one of the mini amenities that they had. We paid $500 a night for King rooms, and I believe an extra $50 a night for a rollaway for the odd numbered member of our group. The place is very safe and secure, and I think it’s a good value for its location.
- 5/5
No complaints. Very nice experience.
- 3/5
The location is fantastic, in the heart of time square. The check in was unfriendly, the gentleman try to charge me again when it was paid in full. I felt like I was bothering him.

Nothing, the worse hotel experience is vet. Never staying at hyatt again. Also they steal your deposit money. The worse hotel staff I have ever come across anywhere in the world. Worse feeling n experience in this rubbish hotel.
- 4.5/5
Water pressure in the shower was weak
- 3/5
Proper breakfast place. Staff is indifferent to your needs even to give basic direction on where to eat when arriving late in the evening. You pick the Hyatt brand expecting all this comfort and pay a lot of Montgomery to stay.
- 4/5
Steamer was nice, but would’ve like an accessible iron.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, great location super convenient for walking all over Manhattan. We went to the bar one time when we first arrived, enjoyed the cocktails.

The room was great! The lighting in the room was great! Nice size room and very clean. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this was my favorite by far!!!

Where it was located and that would be all. No concierge, staff couldn’t or would help they just said they didn’t know if we asked anything even about our pickup would it be at the front or the back. I wasn’t aware they would hold a security amount of $150 per night so we stayed 4 nights it was $800. The restaurant if you could call it that was barely Open, so for morning coffee you had to get up and get downstairs before it closed. No coffee facilities. The beds were comfortable.

Location, cleanliness, friendliness of staff There is no place in the hotel after breakfast hours to grab drinks and snacks
- 4.5/5
We loved the location and size of the room and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. It is such a tall building it took a while for the elevator to reach your floor.
- 4/5
The room is very spacious and clean compared to other hotel rooms I have stayed in New York. There are 8 elevators in the lobby so you are not waiting long. Once we were checked out, we was told the doorman is the only person who could order us a taxi to the airport, we waited over 20 minutes for the doorman to show. We contacted reception a few times stating no one had showed and they just told us to wait. Seemed that as soon as we were checked out they were not that bothered with us anymore.

Great location. Beautiful hotel
- 4/5
The hotel was in a great location as far as walkable to a lot of theaters. The rooms were a good size and not overly small like you find in many hotels in Times Square. However there is no such thing as early check in at least when we were there. They were in fact rude about it. You can store your luggage for free but just know 3pm is probably the earliest. If you are not a fan of elevators that sound rough, then request a lower floor. There were two that scared me because of how they sounded and we were on the 37th floor. Finally, many of the staff are nice just some at the front desk are not. It was nice for a one time stay but won’t stay in Times Square again - just way too busy and crowded.
- 3.5/5
Good
- 4/5
The hotel is right in the center of times square and close to the theatre district and the shopping malls etc. the rooms are spacious and clean and good if you are visiting NY for the first time. Overall a decent experience and stay. For the money you pay for the room you would expect at least couple of bottles of water and a coffee maker hut no luck. Additionally when i checked in i had requested for a half day extension or late checkout for one of my rooms (i had booked 2 rooms) as my flight was at 11pm and check out is by noon and it was agreed that i will pay $125 for the late check out but on the last day another person refused to confirm as it was not in the computer, which was a bummer.

If you use hairspray or steamer in the room there’s a good chance you wake up to notice that you’re being charged $500 for “vaping” in the room. I don’t own a vape and had this happen. Staff at front said this has been a huge problem affecting tons of guests on the daily.
- 5/5
very welcoming , made sure we felt comfortable
- 2/5
The location was good, close to everything. The bathroom was not clean, the hair dryer was not working, there was nothing in the bathroom even though it is a 4-star hotel ( not toothbrush kit, hair kit, nail kit- NOTHING). The staff were not cooperative and had a sharp tone, which didnt feel nice. The breakfast was a nightmare- def not worth the extra money….
- 3.5/5
Very convenient to Times Square and broadway it’s close to everything really. The rooms were modern and clean a little small but that’s to be expected in a New York hotel The breakfast was terrible.. honestly it was not good.. I was expecting a buffet or something it wasn’t that. We order and the quality of food is terrible. So I would just eat out for breakfast

Great service from the people located in the entrance every day, also from the front desk. Beautiful and clean hotel. The views were amazing from my room. Great hotel
- 4.5/5
excellent location location right on times square
- 5/5
My daughter and I stayed at the Times Square Hyatt Regency for 4 nights. The location is excellent and we found our stay very comfortable. A couple of things we didn't love: there was often no hot water in the showers in the morning, the door to the room had a huge gap underneath which let in noise from the corridor (we put a towel in front of the gap which helped), the restaurant in the hotel, while convenient, added a 20% surcharge for everything, even take-out coffee. I would definitely stay here again but would skip the restaurant and would hope that the hot water issue is resolved.

Checked out broadway
- 5/5
Location No coffee pot or microwave in Our room
- 5/5
Location was fabulous! Bagel and lox for breakfast was superb! Nothing
- 5/5
I had a 2 bed Queen room it was very nice and comfortable . The room was very clean . There was a small spot on the rug but no biggie. I did have breakfast and its a little pricey 5.00 for a 12.0z can of soda but live and learn . Staff was wondeful . I was able to get an early check in which was excellent. Hotel is a 10/10 great location for things we had planned while we were in New York.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Room was spacious for Manhattan.
- 5/5
Had a issue with a late cleaning of my room but management solved immediately thankyou so much!
- 5/5
I would never choose the breakfast plan again. It's very limited, only four dishes, and they serve it in disposable packaging.
- 5/5
No complaints
- 5/5
Large, clean rooms
- 5/5
The room itself was very clean and comfortable with a nice view. I would stay here again, and would recommend the Hyatt to anyone looking for a nice place to stay near Broadway for easy walking access to the theaters (and many other destinations such as Times Square and Rockefeller Center).

Great hotel with an excellent staff. Loved the location. Walking distance to a lot.
- 4/5
The hotel’s location and cleanliness are excellent, and it feels quite new. The service is good, and the reception staff are friendly and understanding. The room is a bit small, but it is comfortable. Overall, I would recommend staying t Nothing

Clean rooms and friendly staff
- 5/5
I read the reviews before I booked my room. All the reviews were 100% correct. We’ve been to NYC four times in the last 3 years and have stayed somewhere different each time. Well, we found the hotel where we will stay from now on. The Hyatt Regency formerly Crowne Plaza will be the only place we stay. The staff were amazing, the location was perfect.
- 5/5
Awesome location to get around Manhattan. Staff was great and room was great and clean. Def would book again
- 4.5/5
Hotel was updated. Nice linens. Very clean I have no complaints
- 5/5
Everything was amazing, nothing we did not like.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Perfect for business
- 5/5
Clean room, great location, quiet considering right in time square
- 5/5
Hyatt Regency in Times Square was the perfect hotel for our combo 13th birthday/Mother’s Day trip. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The luggage room on site was very convenient as we had half our party arriving from the train station and the other half arriving from the airport. The entire property is pristinely maintained. The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean and had thoughtful amenities such as a hair dryer with attachments and a clothing steamer. It was the perfect hotel for a family of 5 ranging in age from 13 to 70! We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful view, amazing staff
- 4/5
The time we got there to the time we left
- 3.5/5
The location was great and neer to a good places that we loved to visit and go around. The room that we saw at the booking website was different than reality, at the reception they told as that the photos was AI. For example at the picture there was a sofa and the room was without any The room was smaller than it supposed to be.
- 5/5
Excellent location. Room and hotel were clean and hotel was excellent overall.
- 5/5
Pricey but worth it, right next to the theater
- 4/5
No coffee makers in Room, addl $45 a day hotel fee is annoying
- 5/5
There is no microwave in the room or anywhere in the hotel
- 5/5
Nice place to stay close to everything
- 3/5
Shower gel bottle was empty upon arrival and there was long hair all over the carpet!
- 5/5
great and clean room
- 5/5
Big, clean room, mini fridge was a bonus
- 4.5/5
Clean and very comfortable Breakfast options are limited and expensive. More like a Starbucks.
- 1/5
The price, you can't even use the TV without using the app on your phone. No breakfast, no pop machines, 6 bottles of water in the room. Ridiculously expensive!!
- 4/5
terrible breakfast
- 5/5
Exceptional My family and I arrived really early for our stay but we were still warmly greeted by Victoria at the front desk and she blessed us up immediately. She was so friendly and welcoming and honestly it felt like she went above and beyond (although I'm sure it's the same treatment for all guests ?). The room was clean, modern and spacious. And the location is ideal as it is close to everything (Food options like Olive Garden, Applebee's, Krispy Kreme, Starbucks, $1.50 Pizza (highly recommend) etc and activities in the heart of Times Square and it's literally opposite the M&M store) Wish I could have stayed longer ?
- 5/5
We noticed no coffee or hot water in the rooms
- 5/5
Great location!!!!
- 5/5
Espectacular
- 5/5
The Hyatt was the perfect base for us to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary!
- 4/5
I always stay around time square and this hotel location is great. The only issue is that they don't provide a microwave. At least one should be available upon request. That's why I did not give a 5 star.
- 5/5
The property was nice, close to broadway and close to Times Square. Hotel room was very clean. Staff very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Would stay here again. Amazing stay. Would recommend if this is your first time coming to New York. Close to subway and has some good food options near by.
- 5/5
The front desk was very helpful in explaining the use of the subway system.
- 5/5
Great location , super clean , attentive staff
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect. Location is amazing
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly. The rooms very clean.
- 5/5
I love the location. The size of room are great. The noise level. I hate to be that person lol but the walls are so thin. You can hear everyone opening and slamming doors, playing music in their rooms. Yes it’s time square but I still want to sleep.
- 2/5
The breakfast wasn't worth the money at all!
- 5/5
The customer care was top tier Nothing
- 5/5
We had a small maintenance issue in the room. When checking in we'd been told to call 70 on the house phone in the room if we needed assistance with anything. We called 70 and reported the maintenance issue one day before we were leaving. It was fixed by the time we returned to the room.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
We had bikes with us for the 5-borough bike ride, and although they were not permitted in our room, the bell staff were extremely accommodating in storing them in the luggage room. The room was extremely comfortable and clean. Our room overlooked Times Square, but it was very quiet at night. A great place to stay in a great location.
- 5/5
Really nice, great location, clean, large rooms and friendly staff. Would highly recommend this location.
- 3/5
Constant noise - from outside (expected), but our room was next to the maid’s station so all day and evening we got to listen to people talking and working right outside our door. Make sure you ask for a room farther away from the elevator.
- 5/5
Clean and good location
- 5/5
felt very safe at this location - and great place to get everywhere on broadway.
- 5/5
The property was extremely clean, friendly staff and amazing bedding! I’m always concerned about quality and it was such a surprise see how warm and clean this hotel was, so much so that I’m making it a point to look for more Hyatt properties to stay in! Location is fantastic too! Right off of the square and a few blocks from Broadway if you’re catching a show!
- 5/5
If it’s your first time in New York City, this is a great location Midtown so you can take the subway.
- 5/5
This is my favorite spot to stay in Times Square. This is a safe, clean and well located. There is a great restaurant inside, and the rooms are spacious for NYC
- 2/5
То что в номере было холодно это уже было не комфортно
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great location. Nice property for price.
- 3/5
we were early and told that we would be notified when the room was ready. we were not given a room till after 4pm. I was told that the room I had been booked for, had an elite member and they had a late checkout, so we would be given a different room. overall it was a very nice stay, beds were very comfortable as were the pillows, staff was very nice.
- 5/5
Everything was great the food was amazing
- 4/5
The room was bigger than I was expecting for NYC. The vents could have used some dusting, but overall the room was clean. The staff at the front desk and parking were all very nice and helpful. The only comment I have is we did not have enough towels & wash rags in our room. On the way out to get dinner one night, my husband stopped at the front desk and asked them if we could have more delivered to our room but to please DO NOT enter the room as me and my children were in there alone. The lady on the phone repeatedly told whomever was on the phone not to enter the room and to leave them outside the door. While getting out of the shower, I heard a knock. I didn’t answer it but saw who was outside, figuring they’d leave them outside the door. Next thing I know the guy OPENED the door to my room. I yelled out to please leave them on the floor and to close the door. He did so, but did not follow a simple, but very important request.
- 3/5
Our room was clean, Staff not very welcoming from the day we checked in. I also find it very weird for a hotel room to not have a simple coffee maker or even wine glasses. When my husband went to ask for wine glasses at the front desk, they told him the hotel doesn't provide those and he can check if the bar can give him glasses. Uhh the bar gave him plastic disposable cups to use. Plus never had a hotel charge $600 as a holding that's insane.
- 4/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Great, convenient, clean
- 1/5
Awful staying not coming back AT ALL!
- 5/5
Great location! Nice restaurant! Excellent shower with shampoo and conditioner! Get the Times Square view if possible - it's worth it!!! My hubs and I got early check-in and I'm pretty sure it's because we had a king size bed room. Become a Hyatt member and you get free water each day in your room! Highly recommend!!! Staff was great!
- 5/5
I would have liked coffee available in the room or to have had room service.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
The floor lamp was broken and the lock for the window was loose. Clean and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Everything thing was amazing
- 4/5
There was no breakfast available. There was no coffee maker or microwave in my room.
- 5/5
Close to everything
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
The property was very convenient to walk to subway stations, Central Park and Rockefeller Center. Wish it had a coffee maker in the room. It was a hassle to go down 40 floors to grab a cup of coffee in the morning.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing at reception, super funny and helped us check in early! Overall great experience staying at this hotel.
- 5/5
The dj was good for night time
- 5/5
Room was clean good location
- 2/5
Upon check in they couldn’t find our reservation. There are little amenities. Expedia advertised free breakfast, but there is no breakfast. Hot water is hit or miss. Had to call maintenance to our room twice. Also, very loud!! You can hear every conversation in the halls and rooms around you.
- 5/5
Great location and easy access to all the down town times square stuff. Clean room, nice hotel. Would highly recommend
- 5/5
Very clean, staff was helpful
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
For a hotel at this level there should be coffee and tea in the room or free coffee stations in the lobby. To expect guest to pay for tea or coffee is not commendable.
- 5/5
The rooms was very clean, and the bed was very comfy! Location is great if you are planning to go to shows and explore the city! Highly recommend for a comfy stay!
- 4/5
The daily fee that was not explained prior was disappointing. $40 extra dollars per day is exorbitant and unnecessary. Just a way to gouge the traveler.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Clean and close to everything
- 5/5
Amazing room with a great view
- 5/5
The building was very clean and updated. The location of the hotel is great and makes it easy to get anywhere.
- 3/5
This hotel is not family friendly. There are no microwaves available to heat up anything. There was no way to do any laundry either if needed
- 3/5
For a $40 resort fee/night, the property doesn’t offer much in the ways of amenities. When I stayed last time you could at least get free coffee and water in the lobby. There is not a coffee make in the room so the only choice is to pay for it. I feel like the resort fee was simply for the ability to buy something at the coffee bar.
- 5/5
Wonderful one night stay.
- 5/5
Nice rooms! Great views! Amazing location :)

- 5/5
Everyone and everything was great.
- 2/5
The room didn’t clean. The bed sheet has blood on it. I not sure is stain on the sheet or it appears like that. It makes me very uncomfortable. Carpet is not clean it has some chip around my bed and hair clip. Shower room has tape on the wall. I have no idea why it tape like that. Also, the shower door has hole and the sink some part peer off. Such high rating hotel make me very shark the end.
- 3/5
I would give 7/10
- 5/5
Clean and great customer service
- 1/5
The window on a 29th hotel room in the middle of times square was broken, we weren’t able to close it. So disappointing
- 5/5
The room was very clean, every employee was kind and helpful - we had to extend 2 nights due to the blizzard - so easy to work with absolute perfection
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
It was very nice and clean, but it was hot and we couldn’t adjust our heat. That was the only negative. The hotel was great otherwise.
- 5/5
Clean! Great stay overall it was a great experience.
- 5/5
First time in NYC! The staff was fantastic and super friendly! Being in the heart of Times Square...you would never know it until you walk out the doors. Its so quite (except for the sirens) Room was spotless, all of the amenities that we needed! Beds were SO comfortable. And the view was perfect! Restaurant was good, althoigh we didn't have food, the drinks were delicious! Would 1000% stay here again! NYC will stay with us forever!
- 4/5
service was great and rooms spotless. the only problem was the limitation of not having a coffee system in the room and the restaurant was very limited.
- 5/5
Responsive staff
- 5/5
Amazing location. Clean, friendly staff, perfect location. Many stores and food location in walking distance. Down side no onsite parking. Would definitely come back to this location.

The hotel is great. Would 100% recommend. They have breakfast, lunch/dinner available and a bar. The rooms are pretty spacious and clean. And the staff are very nice and accommodating. My flight got canceled and they were able to get me 2 extra days in the same room. Would definitely recommend.
- 5/5
Great stay! Big room and right in Time Square.
- 3/5
Location is great. Bathroom was pretty bad. There was what looked like blood splatter on the mirror and there was a lot of pubic hair, especially in the shower. Also, hot water for the shower was a bit all over the place.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Room and service es great. No amenities to highlight. It is a shame the hotel doesn’t have a proper restaurant. The breakfast offered are just boxed sandwiches and bottled juices.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 3/5
Less positive: Room was very hot. Thermostat had no effect. Hotel was full of school groups (picture 100's of high school students trying to get their suitcases to reception at that same time). No in-room coffee maker.
- 5/5
All members of the staff were so nice and helpful. Everything, including the lobby bathroom was spotless.

- 4/5
Real good
- 4/5
The hotel staff were great very nice, room was clean but AC didn’t work and it was hot.
- 5/5
Room was amazing! Very clean and spacious! Fantastic view! Staff was incredibly kind and attentive. As we were checking in, the gentleman who was behind the desk noticed we had our young daughter with us and he ensured we had a higher floor with an amazing view of Times Square and also gave her a care package with a coloring book. Highly recommend and we will be staying here again!
- 4/5
-1 for the poor breakfast options.
- 5/5
They recently sold an remodeled this hotel! It was much needed and super happy with their customer service this time around.
- 3/5
The room was in good condition but when I went to use ice bucket the tongs had a gross substance left on I didn’t notice until after I took a sip of drink and it tasted horrendous.
- 5/5
Room and view are amazing! Wonderful service as well. Only downside is there is no microwave other than that 5 stars!
- 3/5
Staff was wondering. Breakfast did not have that many options. Housekeeping needs to do a little better.
- 5/5
Location, clean room.
- 5/5
The restaurant inside made it convenient to grab breakfast on the go. It was a perfect location.
- 5/5
Im a traveler and ive stayed in a lot of hotels in NYC but this is the Most beautiful and spacious hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
- 3/5
Courteous staff and spacious room for NYC. However - and this is a big but - the Hyatt Regency staff decided, for some unknown reason, to turn off all AC access for rooms. AC seems like it should be unnecessary in February, but our room temperature hit over 80 degrees on more than one occasion, simply because of the heat retention in the hotel. The staff was unable to address this other than providing us a box fan and instructing us to leave our room door and room window open. That did help, but not at night while sleeping. I can’t say I’ve ever stayed in a hotel before that wouldn’t allow patrons to control room temperature.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! The staff was super nice, rooms clean and the location on point.
- 3/5
The elevators were a real problem. One day every elevator was packed so I had to go down 34 flights of stairs.
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was amazing, friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Victoria for making my daughter feel extra special and therefore making the stay even better!!
- 4/5
Also, many tour groups, airline crew groups comes to this hotel. Our floors were pretty much all secondary students and they were quite loud at night and would constantly chat loudly in the hallway. They even knocked at our door and I told them this room is not part of their friends’ and the same girls knocked again after like 10 min.. it was a little disruptive. I think it would be nice if the hotel check in crew separate regular customers and the teenage group tours.
- 4/5
The location was incredible! Staff was super friendly and went out of their way to get us rooms near by each other/connecting but it took a long time. They also gave my children gifts at check in. I feel like the rooms could have been cleaner but were in no way dirty. Our window was stuck open ajar and the wind was howling all night. Also made the outside traffic and noise louder.
- 5/5
Perfect location and view. The hotel was clean. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating.
- 5/5
Everything! Will be using this hotel on repeat! Staff, clean room great view location!
- 5/5
Staff very friendly , great location
- 5/5
The room was absolutely perfect with great views of the city!
- 5/5
You guys make sure do no go in winter season just because the Room AC is regulated to 74 degrees , but the hotel is really good
- 5/5
Great location, clean room and friendly staff.
- 4/5
Unfortunately, the breakfast was a significant disappointment. We paid extra for it, and had we fully understood what was included, we would not have chosen to do so. The selection was quite basic — you chose a single cold item such as a yoghurt or a salmon box to assemble a bagel yourself, along with a cold drink. Plates were not provided, cutlery was plastic, and the drip coffee was served in paper cups. This felt more like a budget offering and did not align with the standard we have come to expect from Hyatt properties.
- 3/5
Room needed repairs, phone was not working so could not get help, warm comfy beds though
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was kind and helpful!
- 5/5
The staff was super helpful, our room was clean and housekeeping was always there with anything we needed, and the location couldn't be beat.
- 5/5
The rooms were clean and the property is great! The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They made us feel like were VIP the whole time.
- 4/5
The hotel was recently renovated and all of the finishings were great especially in the bathroom. It’s in a perfect location for the theaters. Our only complaint was the lack of a coffee maker in the room.
- 5/5
Looked recently redone- comfy bed- seemed very clean
- 5/5
Very clean. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great location, rooms were great. Clean rooms and gym. Bar area was nice as well. Easy to walk to shows, subway, Central Park and other great attractions.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and well kept. The staff was amazing and very helpful.
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Front desk on checkout tried to charge me service despite paying it on arrival, the man was very rude when I queried it, shouldn't be working there
- 5/5
I absolutely love the location & staff was so nice.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel, location & staff
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Nice room with a great view and cozy beds. Check in and out was seamless. All staff we encountered were friendly. Cute little bar downstairs was great for a pre dinner cocktail. Excellent location in the middle of theatre district. We will come again!
- 5/5
Fantastic location. Excellent staff from start to finish.
- 4/5
Great amenities, staff, location, and clean! We went during a cold snap and the AC was not available to us. We were told to turn off the heat/unit and only turn on if it got cold. It did not. Our room was about 75 degrees all night, which was quite warm. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Excellent, perfect location and attention
- 5/5
Clean room, comfy queen beds. Asked for an upgrade to room with a view. Wow on the view! Staff accommodating. Great stay.
- 5/5
Amazing will be back!
- 5/5
This hotel was very beautiful and it’s right in the middle of everything!! Hotel was extremely clean and nice layout. Will go back again!
- 2/5
There was food left in the room, the beds were made with visible red hair and stains on the sheets, and the bathroom showed signs of prior use. This was not a matter of preference — it was a clear housekeeping and sanitation failure. When this was reported, management stated that we “took too long to complain.” That response is unreasonable. We had not occupied or used the room prior to discovering these conditions, and guests should not be expected to fully inspect bedding and bathrooms immediately upon check-in, especially when they leave the hotel after dropping off belongings. The room was in this condition upon arrival, regardless of when it was discovered. The lack of accountability afterward was just as disappointing as the condition of the room itself. I would strongly encourage management to review housekeeping procedures and how guest concerns about cleanliness are handled.
- 5/5
The room was spotless. The staff was very gracious, especially in the middle of a winter storm. We LOVED it here!
- 5/5
yes
- 4/5
For our needs great location, clean room, and ok breakfast
- 5/5
Location is a 12 out of 10! In the heart of Times Square/Theater District area. The service from concierge, to front desk, to housekeeping was fantastic. We were there during the NYC snow storm and they had a room ready for us at noon instead of their usual check in time of 3 pm, which was very much appreciated. The rooms are spacious and clean! CVS pharmacy is right next door in case any snacks/essentials are needed. We will come back and stay here again! The only negative for a luxury hotel is that they don’t have a coffee maker in the room - it wasn’t a big deal as they have a cafe in main lobby where you can purchase coffee but a coffee maker in the room would be a nice addition.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 5/5
Spacious, clean room and friendly staff
- 3/5
Room was slanted towards the headboard. Had to sleep opposite way. Wouldve requested a room change but we were only staying 2 nights. Also felt somewhat offended that even though we paid a considerable amount for the room the "complimentary" two bottles of water were only for club members. Glad we read the note on it to avoid the $12 charge. Seems like they are trying to trick people as most hotels leave that for free. No information in the room about ordering food. Dining room only open til 9. Great view from 41 but the other issues would make us look elsewhere for our next Broadway excursion.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Very nice!
- 5/5
100% satisfied, excellent service
- 3/5
1. Clean room. 2. Well located. 3. Quiet ventilation. 4. Big screen TV. 5. Cleaned towels filled everyday. 6. Spacious lobby. 7. Easy checkout. 8. Good valet parking service but expensive for big SUVs. Cons: 1. Paid for a room with queen beds but was not available. Hotel staff offered a room with king bed + sofa bed. The sofa bed had no bed sheets nor pillows ready, we needed to wait the staff to get it. 2. The sofa bed was not comfortable. 3. There were no cups/kettle/coffee machine in the room (basic items that could be found in any other hotel rooms). 4. We needed to request twice to get a kettle and the bed sheets and pillows for the sofa bed. 5. The elevator got stuck twice. 6. Noises in the corridor at late night.
- 2/5
The tempature of the room was awful. We called 1st night to notify the front desk, they sent over the "engineer " to fix it and all he said was unable to help becuase it was cold outside and he can't fixed it. We had 5 terrible sweaty nights. Also, the fridge never worked, the safe wasn't working either, they fixed it though. Unfortunately we will never stay in this hotel anymore.
- 1/5
Hotel doesnt have a pool and terrace. Restaurant breakfast line can reach reception area. Go somewhere else.
- 5/5
Amazing service! Pleasant front desk! Accommodating!
- 3/5
In the description when booking, the rooms said they had been renovated but overall, were not the best. We had water leaking all over our floor in the bathroom, there weren’t any microwaves available to heat up any left overs, the pillows were absolutely terrible. They look all fluffy but go completely flat when you try to sleep. Went to the lounge and it smelled like there was a sewage issue. When riding the elevator in the past when it was operated by Crowne Plaza you had to use your room card to ride up, now anyone can get on and off the elevator which is a safety issue. When checking in, we were charged 450.00 for “incidentals” where we thought we would be charged 75.00/day not 150.00/day… now this will be refunded back to you if there isn’t any damages but it would have been nice to know this up front prior to booking. The hotel staff said Expedia doesn’t update their information. There are many other hotels in the area that are less money and with better amenities.. unfortunately since the name change of this hotel, I feel as if the service and overall quality hasn’t improved so we will no longer be staying here in Time Square again. It’s a shame because the location is great, very close to everything but again like I said this is our 3rd time staying here and it’s the 1st time under new ownership…. It was better when ran by Crowne Plaza not Hyatt Regency.

Expensive but convenient, nice place if you are visiting NY.
- 5/5
Clean room. Great location. Staff was awesome.
- 3/5
The rooms temperature was very warm. The hotel is obligated to keep the heater on during the winter. They suggested opening the windows. We did but the noise was a lot and not enough cool air came through. We couldn’t sleep well.
- 5/5
Excellent location! Clean, spacious, housekeeping was on top of everything. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean, the staff was great and loved the location
- 5/5
Will be staying here the next time we are in Times Square.
- 3/5
No air in rooms.. told to open a window that was 37 floors up with no screen. Very hot with no way to control the temp.
- 4/5
The bartender was super friendly. The man who held our bags was awesome. Excellent accommodations!
- 5/5
Great location and a beautiful hotel!
- 1/5
Amenities- long long line in lobby each day to get coffee. No ATM on site. Ice machine always down on our floor. Cleaning staff was great. Location very good.
- 4/5
It was ok. Clean room. No AC. The hotel doesn't have it at all. We asked on the first day after none of us slept well why was our air not working and they said they only have heat. We cracked our window ans the room stayed 72-73 the whole time. It was tolerable but for the price we paid, we preferred a colder room for sleep.
- 5/5
The mini fridge didnt work when we go here
- 4/5
Great room service
- 2/5
check in took forever. too expensive for what you get.,,no coffee in rooms... no coffee in lobby... poor service...won't stay there again.
- 5/5
The hotel was absolutely great. The only concern that we would have is poor Wi-Fi, but besides that clean spacious, the front desk was very hospitable. Will definitely recommend and stay there again.
- 5/5
The kids and I loved our stay during Christmas vacation and would highly recommend and do it again.
- 4/5
No coffee machine no tea and water
- 4/5
Staff was helpful, rooms were clean and cleaned daily, and the location was fabulous
- 1/5
Took over an hour to check in which i i understand they can not fully control but when the line is exceedingly long for them to add staff and pull from the back of the line does not make sense. Once in the room the Heat would not turn off. The room temp averaged 74-77 degrees during the stay. We contacted front desk Engineering said to force towel in window to hold open on 35th floor with a small child in room.the window itself is fairly large and opened to a point i as a full grown mans could climb out should i want to. We also had issues with the Lock for doors which were inoperable at times and security needed to come reprogram lock to function. Some elevator were out of service to took extended wait time to get to room. We requested to speak with manager but was told that manager was unavailable until Monday. 1/5/26.
- 2/5
The room had hot water problems , off and on issues while taking a shower the water was hot then turned cold . We complaint to the front desk but they never resolved the issue . The room never had a coffee maker when my wife called the front desk the informed her that she was not qualified , what an answer !! We will not return
- 5/5
Great location, clean room
- 5/5
The staff from the bar to front desk to housekeeping was superb. The hotel and rooms were very clean and nice. We will stay there again
- 3/5
Room was nice, 4 people in our room with receiving 2 towels 2 wash cloths everyday had to ask everyday for more and maybe you would receive an maybe not, thermostat control did not work, so we could not control and we all were hot at night ask for a fan they brought one fan that was about 6-8 in wide ask for another one never received…check in was awful… only thing that was great was the location and had one lady named Veronica that was awesome everyone else was so rude customer service needs some training on professionalism!!!!!
- 4/5
This hotel is in the heart of it all. Nice big lobby and areas for sitting were key, because many eateries have nowhere to sit so we would bring food back to the hotel lobby and eat. We had 3 in a king room and i asked for a rollaway bed. It was great for my youngest to sleep on. Shower was nice. Staff was accommodating. I would choose this hotel again and recommend.
- 4/5
Only issue was the shower water temperature was only luke warm and took a long time to get to that temperture.
- 4/5
We had a descent stay, central to a lot of things. Only bad thing was upon arrival, we were put off to the side and were told we would get a call when our room was ready and then never got called. Approached the front desk a second time and was told to wait, others that came after for their room before us.
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful and polite. Location was perfect for our needs. Room was good, bathroom needed a little more attention though. We are already planning our next visit and will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
We reserves a double queen for 4 people (2 kids and 2 adults) but when we went to check in, they stated that it was a king for 2 adults. Waited 2 hours for a text for when our 2 queens would be ready and never heard from the hotel. Went back around 3:30 and was told we would still need to wait for a double queen or take two double beds. We took the two double beds and then had issues with the HVAC. The room template was warm and thermostat was off. Breakfast was crazy and not relaxing at all. I was surprised by our stay since the trip was not cheap.
- 5/5
Awesome the staff was nice and friendly.

Great and friendly staff.

Excelente lugar , la calidad del servicio es al 100% muy recomendable
- 2/5
Upon checking into our room, it was not cleaned, rather left in quite a disgusting shape. The room was disgusting, from red stains all over the carpet, to crumbs, smarties on the floors, poo in our toilet, and the list continues.

Very clean, larger bedrooms, great location
- 3/5
Room was clean could use microwave. Staff made 150+ groups of people wait in line to get checked in. Many rooms had to be ready before that and could accommodate those waiting in line for hours.
- 3/5
The air in the room did not work. It was so hot at night.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our 3 night stay, even though we did not get a chance to see the ball drop. The staff was very nice and helpful. The area had different restaurants to eat from. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Excellent staff, clean and beautiful room!
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
There was no coffee in the room
- 4/5
No Air conditioning, we had to open the windows and most of the nights room was hot. Staff were friendly. First day room was missing bathroom stuffs, towels, etc. Shower water pressure is low. Limited breakfast options. Overall great location and easy access
- 5/5
The room was clean. The heat worked but could not set to a temperature and it reach that temperature. It was about 8 degrees off. It did stay warm though. Shopping was great around and plenty of restaurants close. We were able to walk to Bryant Park, the Public Library, Saks, and all of the Broadway shows we wanted very easily. Only thing I didn’t not like was there was not a microwave in the room. There was a mini fridge which was great. The mattress was covered with a protector and both box springs and mattress were zipped up in the protector which I found to be a positive thing..
- 1/5
There was a long line during check-in. There credit card system was down and that delayed everyone waiting. They should have had a faster solution to get people moving. We have small children and I requested connecting rooms which we didn’t get but I was assured because I have young children they would most likely honor that request. The temperature of the room couldn’t be adjusted and was very hot. I would not stay there again.
- 4/5
Convenient location. Wifi is horrible. Overall good value

YES
- 1/5
A/c never worked. Was given no solution. It was 78 every night!
- 5/5
Room was spotless and update We enjoyed our experience there. The porter Mane (sp) was amazing and so helpful the Porter that came to our room to get our bags when we were checking out on Dec 31 was also helpful. He took our luggage down to the end of the block and across the road bc the roads were blocked off due to the New Year ball drop tonight. Then the Hotel transfer driver was great as well. Got us to LGA pronto and safely. Couldn’t have ask for a better experience. We will be back.
- 4/5
Room would not cool below 72 at night. Notified staff, but did not improve. Also a mix up when checking in, did not provide attaching rooms when two booked together and claimed I needed to provide credit card after pre paying and after providing card at check in. Mgr admitted their mistake which as good.
- 5/5
Great location. Clean room. Helpful staff. Room temp was a challenge as we couldn't get the temp to drop below 72 degrees, which is too warm for comfortable sleeping temps.
- 5/5
Everything about our stay was perfect. We will definitely recommend this hotel to others & will book this hotel again in the near future.
- 5/5
Room was excellent

Their house keeping is top notch - I’ll give 10/10 for that .
- 3/5
The room was very hot. Out stay was from 12/26-30/2025 and the room was around 74-76 even though we had the thermostat set to 68 the entire time.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 5/5
Very accommodating
- 4/5
Couldn’t control the temp, the room wouldn’t go lower than 72F all night. A little too warm to sleep on. This was in the middle of winter, even with the window open.
- 2/5
It was stuffy. THE ENTIRE TIME
- 5/5
The coffee should be complimentary. Had to wait in line everyday just to buy a cup of coffee. At least have another line for plain coffee. It was serve yourself so shouldn’t have to wait in line to pay for it.
- 5/5
It was clean and most all staff was so wonderful, the room was spacious very and in a great location.
- 2/5
When I went to my room, the bed was unmade and there were dirty towels all over the bathroom floor. They got me another room, which was fine, but walking into an unclear room was very upsetting.
- 1/5
Front checking took way too long, guess relation is horible
- 1/5
Yes the hotel was very nice, meaning it looked beautiful when you walked in, nice rooms, beautiful bathroom BUT even though the weather outside was COLD the rooms AC have an automatic setting and once you are asleep your rooms get hot! Same with it being difficult to get hot water running. So sorry to say it was not a great stay!
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 5/5
Location was excellent!
- 4/5
Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were spacious and clean.
- 3/5
The room was nice. The long line that had to be waited in twice to get the room was completely unacceptable for a hotel of Hyatt’s standard.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
The hotel was clean. The check-in staff was super busy and therefore not as friendly. The elevators had issues where we were stuck in one for a little bit. The restaurant was understaffed and therefore slow, but the food was good and the waiter we finally got was excellent. I like the location.
- 3/5
AC did not work well.. very hot
- 4/5
Great location
- 5/5
Excellent location, close to site-seeing & shopping
- 1/5
From the minute, we stepped into our room the air-conditioning did not work and it started out at 74° even though we had it set for 65°. It continued to climb to 77° where no one could sleep through the heat.
- 5/5
Room was cleaned everyday and staff were very pleasant. Hotel is close to everything.
- 5/5
Our stay was great, the staff was very helpful - a special shoutout to Evelyn at the front desk for being the best! She went out of her way to keep us in the same room for the extra night. Recommending this hotel to everyone coming to New York!
- 5/5
Stay was excellent. Only complaint are the doors. They don't latch properly which prevents locking.
- 5/5
Good
