Only stayed for one night to catch our early morning flight at JFK. The facility is well located, next to a casino and variety of restaurants to eat at. Very clean and helpful staff, quiet and close to the airport

Eventhough we stayed for 1 night, to catch early flight from JFK, suits our expectations. Room size is OK, beds are comfortable, wifi works well, staff is helpful Gym is enough easy to reach to airport Breakfast ( eventhough we are ready to pay ) is not enough, think that no egg offer :( Gym area could be bigger

I'm a local. Stayed over night for a day at the casino. Room was comfortable and spacious. Casino under renovation but there were plenty of slots to play..but payouts where tight. The racetrack outside is a plus. And the Sugar Factory is always a highlight. Love the drinks. Overall nice excursion.

I loved the location of the property which was close to things and the atmosphere was peaceful. Definitely will be coming back to stay! The only one downside to the disabled accessible room was the sink, it was way too high to reach especially being wheelchair bound but I made it work. Other than that everything was fantastic.

The actual guest room was very comfortable and spacious and the staff were lovely and helpful. The Casino is a detriment as the food offerings are very average as is a mini food court. This is a Casino hotel and not really an Airport hotel unless all you need is a bed and thats it.

Spent Christmas Eve! Room was clean and comfy. Free parking. Great dinner! Didnt win at the casino but other than that, fabulous stay!

Bed was not comfortable. It felt lumpy. The cleaning staff were loud. We were woken around 6 am by workers talking and I guess planning their days work right outside our room.

The front desk agent is what stood out the most. His name was John. He was friendly, professional and above all patient. I was under the impression that I could use my hotels.com gift card when I "arrived" to pay in person. However, his manager, who was also kind, let me know that they cannot take payment at the hotel. This is something that would have to be done on the hotels.com website. I panicked. I cried. It was also the day of the snow storm. Luckily, my brother sent me money so that I would not lose my reservation. I must have went up to John at least four times. Each time he was pleasant and smiling. He never looked annoyed. His energy was great. I was truly grateful. Not to mention, the room he gave me was beyond awesome. It was beyond awesome. It was huge. It was extremely clean. The view from my room was excellent. So guess what I did next, I booked another stay, at this same hotel using my hotels.com gift card because I just love this place and the customer service.

It was 17 degrees in New York and the room I was staying in had a faulty heating system so I called the front desk and explained the issue , they send over a “technician” he left came back acting like he did something and nothing was done had to spend my stay in a cold room never again

The reservation was okay. It turns out when you use Booking, they are additional fees that the hotel charges which were not included or conveyed through Booking.com. Booking needs to do more to be transparent. The room was messy, dusty, no bags in the garbage, used tea in the teapot, dirty counters, and bathroom had urine stains around the toilet.

This is definitely a good option if you have to stay near the airport. It’s not far at all. It was nice to have the option to go to the casino but I find them depressing. Anyways, the prime restaurant was pretty good but otherwise not a lot of options after 8 PM. The staff was very very nice. Rooms were clean and smelled nice . Not as many food options after 8 PM.

Other tips for foreign travellers, be aware of the security deposit for all the days/nights you’re staying (around $100 per day) and there are also other taxes to be aware of e.g. destination tax ($25 per day). Other than that, I enjoyed my stay and will consider this hotel if I return to New York City.

No way to communicate with front desk, only email. Was not crowded but felt like everyone was on the same floor. Slamming doors and screaming children at 2am in the hallway. Refrigerator did not work. Vending machine took my money , where the ice is located. It was disappointing.

Check in was absolutely fantastic. The young lady was super helpful with restaurants to eat at around the area, upgraded my room & let me check in early. Her warm welcoming was very nice. The room smelled so good, it was squeaky clean, towels & sheets had no stains, shower was clean (no hairs), the bed was soft & the thermometer was easy to adjust to the right temperature (NYC is cold). I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay close to the airport ($12 uber) & likes to gamble at their lovely casino attached to the hotel.

I had a great stay overall. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. My overall experience at the hotel was excellent, and the location made it easy to get around and enjoy the area. The only downside was the casino, which felt a bit underwhelming and could use some updates to match the quality of the rest of the property. The casino clearly operates with a strong house edge, and it shows—most games felt noticeably tilted in favor of the house. While the atmosphere is lively, players should be prepared for odds that don’t give them much room to walk away ahead.

JFK at Resorts World New York City. Dear Hyatt Regency JFK Team, I recently stayed at your hotel, and I wanted to share my honest feedback. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the standards I've come to expect from Hyatt properties worldwide. The room condition was quite poor and did not reflect a world-class or luxury experience. The walls had several scratches, the wallpaper around the toilet was peeling, and there were noticeable cracks on the walls. The AC grill and shower area had visible mold, and the hair dryer was dusty and appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time. Overall, the room felt as though it had not been properly maintained. I have stayed at several Hyatt hotels before and have always had excellent experiences. However, this stay was disappointing and raised concerns about cleanliness and safety. I truly hope management can address these maintenance and hygiene issues promptly, as this property has the potential to be much better.

However, upon checking out, I was blindsided by a daily 'Destination Fee' being added to my invoice, which was an additional $100+ dollars. Could you please explain the need for this fee?

Room was very comfortable. However, there were virtually no food options available (only one outlet open), and housekeeping had not turned off previous guest's alarm which meant I was woken up extremely early!

Really convenient from the airport, two complementary water bottles, complementary coffee, and tea on the room. Room came with an extra dollar amount for the café, which is being reimbursed at checkout.

AC unit started knocking loudly about 1 am and never stopped till check out. I finally went downstairs at 3 am to address it, and the overnight manager was right off the bat rude, unapologetic and yelled at me for wanting a small discount on a 600$ dollar a night room that I could not get any sleep in. I literally left the front desk in tears. Then, they have the audacity to have their housekeepers ENTER THE ROOM at 10 AM trying to hurry us out AN HOUR BEFORE CHECK OUT as we're trying to get what little rest we can before setting out on a 6 hour drive. Needless to say, that was not a good way to start our morning after an already frustrating and sleepless night. We expect better from Hyatt

I needed to book somewhere near JFK very last minute and went with the Hyatt. It's not the closest hotel you can get to the airport but I would choose them again no question. The room was very spacious (larger than average), it was spotless, modern and comfortable. The view isn't great so if you're looking for that then this isn't your place. But if you're looking for an airport hotel that feels like a mini-resort rather than the normal tired corporate airport hotel definitely choose this hotel. The food court could have been open a little later but that wasn't an issue, the casino is great for those who want that option and there are two starbucks on site. If it wasn't so far out from the city, I'd choose to stay here for my entire stay in New York.

The service at restaurant Sugar Factory was very poor. Waiter was very nice but because he had very little help, we waited for our food for over an hour and so was the couple that sat at the table next to ours.

For a four star hotel I felt their restaurant options could be better as to offer room service options. The casino offered AW Steak House which in my opinion of food and service was a 5 stars. If Hyatt offered more food options at the hotel, I would have given them 5 🌟.

Had to go to Queens for a family event and needed to stay somewhere near the event that also had parking. Was impressed with what I saw online about this hotel and it did not disappoint. The hotel was modern and very clean with free parking. Rooms were spacious and modern. Beds very comfortable and rooms surprisingly quiet considering everything going on nearby including a casino and airport. The casino and restaurants were attached to the hotel, but you were never bothered by the activity of those venues. Great place to stay.

Was given the wrong room when checked in thought they would have on file ,since charges was made for specific room. But this was immediately taken care of,we enjoyed our stay!

Great stay for a quick weekend trip to watch the Yankees. Excellent amenities, very friendly staff. Walking distance to the subway so you are in a good spot to get to and from Manhattan anytime of day.

The hidden fees at checkout was terrible. When I first checked in they told me what I had coming back. Then at checkout they surprised me with fees by doubling me twice. For that reason I will never come back there to stay. I recommend that no one stay there because of this.

It was great being in a hotel connected to a casino. We got to play and watch a live band at the casino and then go back to our room without having to travel very far. The workers were friendly. They have a Starbucks right down stairs, which is convenient. The bed was super comfy. A few dislikes: the coffee maker in the room didn’t work. We told the front desk and the got us a new one pretty quickly. The toilet kept running after each use so you had to jiggle the handle . There was a woman’s hair on the shower wall so the shower obviously wasn’t fully cleaned and wiped down prior to us staying .

You said there was a shuttle from the airport. It's on the website and on hotels.com who is going to refund my 70 bucks for Uber because you guys can't build a proper website.

All are good. Some of the charges of dining in the Hyatt Club are hidden. Please check before you leave hotel. Phone calls to the front desk from outside the hotel often go unanswered, and the waiting time is very high.

I’ve never had ambient noise quite like this hotel. The sound from the AC / adjacent building is like sleeping by under a busy motorway. All modern hotels are guilty of this, but this one really takes it too extremes.

My favorite thing about the hotel: Location, location, location. I flew into JFK and my horse was running at Aqueduct. This was the perfect spot for me. My least favorite thing about the hotel: The price.

Check in at 9pm, no one up front to help with bags. There was no available valet at that time. Parking was abundant and free luckily. Booked for just 1 night. Room was spacious but it had a weird smell, so did the bathroom. Bathroom was clean but it smelled so weird. When we were trying to sleep, the walls everywhere must be extremely thin because we could hear every door open and close on our floor. We couldn't sleep well because of that. There was a family close by and all we heard was their conversation all night. I literally had to take a unisom to go to bed, I did not bring any ear plugs. It was a horrible experience. It was just too noisy. Our flight the next day was early in the morning so needless to say we did not rest well. Will not be returning, unfortunate since the website and pictures online looked great and its right next to the airport. But for the price you pay I'd expect better.

We needed to do an overnight stay near JFK airport, and this is a convenient location for an above average chain. The demographics of Resorts World Casino and the hotel, were not a good fit. There is no cocktail lounge off the lobby, but you have to worm your way past the Gaming videos, to a circular bar far in the back—nearly a quarter mile from the lobby—terrible for the hotel.

Appalling service- the number for the hotel divert to Germany who cannot help as they cannot get through either. Business trip - would no recommend to any other person who is used to getting value for money and service. Brand not represented well.

Nice property, but not a lot nearby you'd feel safe walking to. We took the A train to NYC for dinner and a show which is conveniently located at the edge of the parking lot.

The nicest hotel in the JFK airport area and the fact it has a casino just adds to the experience. The room was quiet and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The property lacks typical services that a Hyatt Regency would offer. The campus only offers only 2 restaurants. The campus was extremely clean but just lacked sparkle to match the Regency reputation.

The staff was the best! Very friendly and helpful about answering any questions! In the morning our coffer maker wasn't working and the hotel immediately sent up a brand new one! The bed was perfect and so was the shower!! Will be back for sure!
