Reviews
The hotel is praised for its central location, particularly its proximity to Times Square and the Empire State Building. Guests also appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the spacious rooms. However, some guests have complained about the quality of the breakfast and the cleanliness of the rooms. Additionally, some guests have mentioned issues with the elevators and the noise level in the rooms.

Enjoyed the location, breakfast, and staff. Room was small and dated but we made it work esp orally being out and about all day. Would stay there again. Ur for a family of 5 with older teens, I would get two rooms if possible.

Beware when they state dog friendly oh yes when you check in they will hit you with $125.00 non refundable fee if you bring a pet. Also one more thing parking is down the street $68.00 plus tax and if you have an SUV the parking company will charge an extra 20.00 for large vehicle. Total rip off. And if you want breakfast get downstairs early . Cause there is to many damn people to enjoy your peace and breakfast. Also to the hotel property , room 1105 drain was clogging when trying to take a shower. I hate that when im taking a shower. For you die hard new York people . You can have it all to yourself. I don't care for it. It's over rated to damn expensive tolls parking and hotel. Whoopty do.It's new york?I don't give a damn. I see why everybody looks mad cause you choose to live there. Maybe the food is good but the rest we'll you can have it.

The hotel's biggest advantage is its excellent location in Midtown Manhattan, within walking distance of Times Square, Bryant Park, Fifth Avenue and many other attractions. The rooms are spacious and offer plenty of room compared to many other hotels in New York. The bed was comfortable, which is probably the most important thing after a long day of sightseeing. Breakfast was very good, with a solid selection of hot and cold options. There is also a gym available, which is a great bonus for guests who would like to work out before or after exploring the city. The hotel is quite large, which means the breakfast area can become very crowded during peak hours. It is worth arriving early to avoid long lines and difficulty finding a table. The rooms could also benefit from some renovation or refreshing, as certain furnishings and finishes felt a bit dated. Another downside was the constant noise coming from outside HVAC and ventilation systems. Even with the windows closed and the air conditioning turned off, the humming noise was still noticeable and affected the overall comfort of the room. The hotel does provide complimentary earplugs, which may help guests who are more sensitive to noise, but I would have preferred a quieter room. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, the location, room size, good breakfast and available gym make this hotel a solid choice for a stay in New York City.

Very small cramped rooms, not at all value for money, bare minimum amenities in the room, no microwave, no tea bags or creamers, wifi was not working for us and the staff didn't try to solve it, instead just gave us the customer care number of the service provider !!

The location is just perfect! Close to all the main attractions and places of interest. Also next to the subway! The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is also a terrace with great views of manhattan! This was my 5th time in new york and Hyatt Place Midtown was by far the best hotel we have booked! The wifi connection was not good some hours per day... i suppose this happens on the busy hours. Other than that, everything was perfect.
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. Parking was an added cost, and if you park your car at the closest garage, which is about a block away, you will not have access to it for 24 hours. The location was close to a lot of the sites and our room’s view was of the Empire State Building!
- 2/5
I selected “high floor” option when booking a hotel room. I did not get a high floor, instead got a lower floor which was extremely loud. Woke up everyday multiple times between 3:00am and 5:00am to garbage trucks and loud truck air horns.

Internet was great for remote work. I used the ethernet connection speeds were over 250 Mbps for both download and upload. Unlike the Ameritania (.91 /.63 Mbps, YES not a typo) I stayed at a couple days earlier. Price of the room, is what I feel is high for this type of hotel. Then again its a NYC thing. Breakfast was ok, edible. Location of the hotel is good, plenty of restaurant, shops, transportation nearby. I would stay here again.

City views. Rooms kept very clean with regular servicing. Breakfast is quite good with good variety. Close to empire state building, visible from the small terrace in the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. No in-house laundry facility, so we choose to walk to a laundromat in preference to sending it out with the hotel's 3rd party operator probably saving us a lot of money. Space in the breakfast area could get cramped,a bit of queueing. They were doing some work around that area while we were staying so maybe they are actively improving this aspect or else it was the works themselves having a bit of negative impact. Main reception area very small but for the central Manhattan District it's not untypical, however the only seating and relaxing area occupying this space has little to offer, with a bar that is not attended, no price lists on display, and we didn't feel invited to try ordering something, a freshly made coffee for example and didn't see a proper machine, nor did I ever see anyone drinking one. Could be a lot better as a place to chill out with fresh pastries, barista coffees, speciality teas etc etc. The coffee in the breakfast, dining area was just batch beef and kept warm in flasks Would have liked some hot tub or sauna facility but appreciate that's not common in the city at this price point

The breakfast was ample and good. The staff were all uniformly gracious and professional. Everything about our stay that could be managed was done well. The room was an excellent size for NYC, the bed was comfortable. There is a sofa in the room, small desk, even an iron. Solid accommodations. I'm constantly amazed by hotel bathrooms and how badly arranged they are for people who are traveling. The toilet paper was so far from the toilet my husband and I almost couldn't reach it. There was no shelf in the bathroom aside from the sink vanity, and no towel rack except one inside the shower. The shower doors were extremely heavy glass with only a small metal button to pull them open and closed with. Everything worked and was clean, but the set up of the bathroom was inconvenient.

The location is so good for the kind of trip we were taking. Close to Macy's as in almost next door. Keens is also juat outside. If you are going shopping or broadway the location is so good. They could do with updating of the rooms, do not get me wrong I had no issues but painting the walls and new curtains/blinds would be nice. Also the tvs are not the best, it would be great to be able to cast my own content to the tv. There is no netflix, youtube or other smart tv functionality.

The hotel location is perfect - centrally located and easy access to restaurants and attractions. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Leaving our bag on our check-out day was so convenient - we were able to explore the MET without having to deal with a bag. The breakfast was excellent. The room was very clean, bed was very comfortable - we will come back on our next visit to NYC. Nothing. The hotel was wonderful. The view from our room was spectacular #2508.

While booking, is not listed the cancelation penalty of 3 nights even if you cancel 24 hours before the check in. Also, they charge your credit card 24 hrs earlier by $100. They dont care if you miss your flight or change plans due to unfortunate restrictions, like problems with TSA shortcuts

Location: Top notch, could not be better. It feels like everything is around the corner. Public Transport: 5 min walk to the next subway station, where you can connect to everywhere. Room: Clean and cozy. We were lucky and had a nice view on the empire state building. Perfect place to stay for a 3-4 day city trip. Of course there was noise, even on the 21st floor - but come on, it is NYC - you will have noise everywhere (sirenes, police, construction). The room could be bigger - but again, for NYC it is OK.

It was good for what I needed which was just one night to rest my head, but walking into the room, had a mildew smell to it…when I turned the AC on, the smell went away. Pillows were very flat, couldn’t really get comfortable. Breakfast was underwhelming and didn’t really like the eggs at all. Not too many other options either. Overall stay was just okay.

Location of the hotel was great for sightseeing, quick subway ride to Statue of Liberty and World Trade Center as well as Central Park. Pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was at night. Hotel itself is a little beat up but they were renovating the gym and breakfast area. Breakfast was your typical hot hotel breakfast.
- 5/5
Great clean hotel, great location, staff very helpful, rooms clean, bed comfortable, all access to all of NY. The only complaint I have is the “shower pressure” it felt like taking a scissor shower, it was ruff, but not a deal breaker, so for that I will give 9/10.

The rooms are tight but we fit five adult sized people in a two queen with a pull out sofa for six days and found it to be comfortable. The morning breakfast has a variety of options including fresh fruit and veggies every day. The location is ideal for the times square, midtown and subway access. You can comfortably walk to the theaters in about 15-20 min. It's close to everything without feeling like you are stuck in the tourist hustle.

That said, our stay was significantly impacted by a persistent clicking/banging noise throughout the night, which made it very difficult to sleep. It seemed to be coming from the elevator, as we were on the 24th floor. While the view was undeniably spectacular, it wasn’t quite worth being awake all night admiring the Empire State Building due to the noise. For the price point, I had expected a more quiet and restful experience. Aside from this issue, everything else about the stay was perfectly fine.
- 4/5
Clean room. Friendly staff (especially the African American lady at the front desk) and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Our room was fine, comfortable and the hotel in general was quiet. Our room was on the 12th floor facing the front, so we got a good amount of street noise throughout the night. My wife slept through all of it, but I’m a light sleeper so I was up for a bit each night. But that is not the hotels fault, it’s just NYC. We like this hotel because the price is reasonable and it’s only a 10 minute walk to Times Square & Broadway and a 5 minute walk to the subway and a good deli and restaurants. My only suggestion would be, I don’t eat red meat (pork or beef), we were there four nights and only one morning did they offer a non-pork meat selection during breakfast (turkey bacon). My wife eats pork, so it was no problem for her, but for me it was a disappointment. Out of four morning I hoped to get at least two with some meat I could eat. Maybe sometimes offer one pork option and one turkey or chicken or “beyond” meat type option. Just a suggestion. We will definitely stay here again (this was our second time in this hotel), so we do like it.
- 5/5
The room was clean. There was construction in lobby area.
- 4/5
That said, a couple of things are worth flagging for future guests. The beds are a bit worn at this point and the pillows are surprisingly firm — almost rock-solid, more like beanbags than the plush hotel pillows you'd hope for. The other thing we noticed, particularly on the upper floors, is that the elevator's mechanical hoist brakes produce a loud rumbling noise that travels through the walls. The location and the staff were superb , so we didn't let it ruin our trip — we just ran the A/C fan on constant and used a white noise app to drown it out. Not a dealbreaker, but if you're a light sleeper, it's worth requesting a lower floor when you book. All in all, this is a solid Midtown hotel and we'd happily return. Just ask for a lower floor and manage expectations on the bedding — everything else really was great.
- 3/5
The hotel is under construction which is fine but we were placed in the 4th floor and the construction/street noise was incredibly loud. They do provide earplugs, but even with those it felt like being at a construction site.

Please improve amenities, we pay ample amount still there is no basic facility of water in room we have to go downstairs to fill water, no smart tv in room, if we want to watch from initial channels we have to pay extra for that. Requesting @hyatt the service was really bad with amenities for the amount that we pay.

Check in and out were easy. Location was ideal-not too close to Times Sq and other popular attractions that sleep is impossible, but close enough that many locations and subway lines are within a ten minute walk. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but that’s not why you come to the city.

Clean but due to only 1 elevator & multiple elevations it would take a while to get simple things like towels/rags. Breakfast was decent! The staff was super friendly. The view of the Empire State Building was nice touch! We managed to fit 5 bodies into 1 suite which was not too terrible. All in all we would stay again!

The room is smaller than other Hyatt place locations but is to be expected in nyc. My gripe with this hotel is the lack of urgency to fix the one of two elevators . We stayed on the 23rd floor and spent an uncomfortable amount of time waiting for an elevator that was small and also used by staff. We stayed 4 days and this became a hassle quickly. This lobby was jam packed full of customers that they would not let check in until the minute of 3pm. We arrived a little early on our flight and accommodations could not be made by staff for us for anearly check in. I was also told if we parked our rental car in the meyers parking lot we would get a discounted rate which also did not happen. I paid $134 to park for 2 days. NYC is great to visit I guess they just don’t have enough elevator service companies smh

Room for was fine and clean. Elevator was not working for our entire stay and that was not fine, when you travel with two kids and had to walk ten floors down and up to as not fine and was way below our expectations. Guys your guests deserve better than that.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and the experience was very poor. The breakfast was exactly the same every day. There are only two elevators, and one of them was broken for more than three days during our stay, which caused significant inconvenience.

The room was great, even for 5 people) and the staff was kind and helpful.
- 5/5
My family and I stayed on the 25th floor for one night while we explored NYC. The location was great. We were close to a lot of touristy things. Our room had the most amazing view of the Empire State Building which was a great surprise for my kids. Parking was very easy as well. The lot was just down the street and gave us peace of mind while we explored. The room itself was small but clean and tidy. Since we only stayed one night, we didn't need anything palatial. Staff was also very helpful and friendly at check in/out. We would definitely stay again!

- 5/5
Location in midtown, so near everything, good service, the only downside it’s that the door is hidden, so it gets confusing, this was due to construction on site.
- 4/5
Excellent breakfast, only 1.5 blocks to subway.
- 4/5
Room was as expected. Good view too.

The staff were friendly , helpful...we got upgrade up level 26 ..beautiful view with tall building lighting up at evening...the room was clean . The location was very close to everything time square , lots of restaurants near by , very convenient...they allowed us to drop off luggage before check in and after check out so we were hand free to walk around ...thank you so much ..we will book again next year
- 5/5
We had very nice.Stay staff could not have been more helpful.Rooms were clean.
- 5/5
They had a large variety of options for breakfast. I would say the only downside was the manhole outside the hotel was loud during the night when big trucks would go over it! It could be because we were only on the seventh floor and maybe a higher floor you wouldn’t hear it as much! Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
The room was very clean. Bed is comfy and amazing view! The staff was super kind and friendly!
- 5/5
Loved my stay here! I chose the location for its proximity to Penn Station. Bathroom is a bit dated, but the room is spacious than most hotels in the area. Room is clean and the bed is comfy. Service was great as well. Would stay here again!
- 1/5
Blankets were very dirty, alarm clock wasn’t reset, and a random charge of $150 was given to my credit card with no email or reason why.
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great stay and good hot breakfast. Loved the location.
- 4/5
Nothing to complain about, nothing to write home about.
- 4/5
Staff and location!
- 5/5
Checking in was quick and simple. The staff was very friendly. The room was great. Never head nose issues. I think I was only bothered by lack of paper and pen that usually sits by the room phone. The breakfast was great. More than enough choices. Location of the hotel was PERFECT for us as well!.
- 5/5
Clean room, best view on Empire State Building, walkable distance to most NYC sightseeing spots. Our second year in the row booking, a reasonable price.
- 5/5
Breakfast was so good. Staffs are so kind.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Great spot, walking distance and close to subway. Breakfast could definitely have more variety.
- 5/5
I love my stay with Hyatt Place New York! From the employees Hannah gave as excellent customer service,Victor very attentive with breakfast and plenty of food to choose from , our room cleaner always freshen our room with our needs I would give a 5 stars! the hotel is accessible to locations for us to see!
- 5/5

- 5/5
- 5/5
Courteous, quick and clean.
- 5/5
Hotel room was surprisingly pleasant and comfortable. Great utilization of space.would definitely stay again
- 4/5
We appreciated the luggage storage when we arrived before check-in time. The room was a nice size for Manhattan. Liked the sofa in the room but when sitting on it we could feel a cold draft from the window. The temperature was then difficult to regulate in the room. The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast was good. We wanted to use the rooftop lounge area to get a view of the Empire State Building at night but weren’t told it closed at 7pm and didn’t open until 10 the next morning.
- 5/5
Parking validated for Meyers, helped with oversized vehicle amount. Staff friendly.
- 5/5
It was great experience. Close to the time square. Breakfast was amazing. We had a room with view on Empire State building. Thank you
- 4/5
Cleanliness, staff very professional and friendly. 26th floor view is awesomeness.
- 3/5
The room smelled and our watch went missing
- 4/5
Staff were nice
- 5/5
Right in the city
- 5/5
Had a great stay, a little late on check in but overall worth it. Had a nice stay for the marathon.
- 5/5
Room was clean and large enough for family of six. Free breakfast each morning was amazing! Location was convenient and view was beautiful.
- 4/5
The location was very good, but I fetl the room charge was too expesive for the service and the old facilities. The room was clean and staff was good.
- 4/5
Yes room was clean, they have a couch for a separate sitting area
- 3/5
Room was clean and cozy, bathroom was fine as well. Room was not ready on time. Unfortunately, the room ended up being without a view unlike the pictures advertised, even though I had requested a high floor. Lobby was small with only one common area unisex single stall bathroom. There was also a strong smell in the lobby and the elevators. The pillows were not very comfortable and felt like they were filled with choppy material. Mediocre hotel with a pretty high bill.
- 1/5
The room did not have a shade and looked out directly on an office building that was lit up. The noise was horrible. No wonder they left earplugs on the bed.
- 3/5
Room was clean & comfortable for the cost. Lobby is minimal. Breakfast is so-so with very inadequate seating for guests. Variety could be better. Scrambled eggs tasted like they came out of a box. French toast was very over cooked. This hotel is in an excellent location and served it's purpose for a comparatively affordable overnight stay.
- 5/5
and accomadating. for my needs the best they can.Thank you all.
- 5/5
Hannah was a great receptionist Very helpful & direct.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. We’ll be back.
- 1/5
Hated it
- 5/5
Location was perfect and close to subway lines.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great! Great location in midtown ny
- 4/5
The only bad part was the elevator noise. We were on the 25th floor and the constant banging from the cables and the elevator itself was honestly unbearable. Other than that, everything else was great
- 5/5
Hotel front desk service is excellent
- 2/5
Room was so noisy on the 20th floor, somehow. Like the windows were terrible. Staff we're really pleasant. Breakfast was ok but the room is very small and often no seats.
- 5/5
Loved the location. It was a short walk to the metro, shopping, and attractions. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Yes all fresh but the juice it’s not really pure because it mix with water and coffee don’t like the taste that’s all but the food are great
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay. Perfect location in the middle of Manhattan. The staff was outstanding!
- 5/5
- 5/5
It’s was good
- 2/5
The outside need to be cleaner
- 4/5
Friendly and competent staff. Clean room and spacious. Bathroom w real door (not the trendy, not soundproof hanging styles that are in today). Convenient location.
- 4/5
The location was hard to find . Hard to locate under a scaffolding. Looks like they were working on the area.
- 4/5
The Hyatt is comfortable but could use a refresh. Breakfast is decent, rooms are clean, and beds comfortable, good location. Paying extra for a higher floor with an Empire State view was nice for the quiet, but the view itself is just okay — you can see it from the 26th floor for free. Staff were polite. A highlight was enjoying a reasonably priced bottle of wine on the 26th-floor terrace — a calmer, cheaper alternative to rooftop bars with the Empire State right in front of you.
- 5/5
Great staff and very convenient location
- 4/5
Outside of that, the facility, location, staff, etc were quite good and above average. I’d stay here again, for sure.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Great location, near train station. There is a lot of street noise at night, but they do provide ear plugs. Really comfortable beds and good breakfast.
- 4/5
So nice
- 5/5
Convenient location to subway, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing spots
- 3/5
The only thing I’m not a fan of is when the building has scaffolding in front of it, but I know it’s unavoidable. The breakfast was OK. The pancakes were kind of crispy on the end, but I think they were really hard on the eggs were OK your usual what you find in a hotel bagels were OK. The room was clean but small. There was an ottoman in front of the couch who made no sense cause it’s just limited your ability to get to the bed.
- 5/5
Clean room, nice view of the Empire State and good breakfast spread.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was very courteous and attentive. The location was great and was within walking distance of several tourists attractions.
- 4/5
Great Location. Everything walkable, and good breakfast
- 5/5
Excellent hotel! & breakfast included in an ideal location. I even got a view of the empire state building out my window!!
- 2/5
Excellent
- 3/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Room was small but can’t expect too much space for a room in NYC . Location was walkable to points of interest . Has a rooftop lounge area to get photo ops of the Empire State Building .
- 3/5
I liked the view from my room
- 5/5
The hotel was very convenient to Penn Station and Midtown. The gym was ok, there wasn’t a lot of stuff, but it was fun. The couch and the bed in the room were comfortable. The TV only had a few channels. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
It was central to all l9cations we wanted to see!
- 5/5
Property is nicely kept and clean. The area is extremely busy but the hotel was relaxing and a little oasis from the hustle and bustle outside. Rooms are decently sized for Manhattan.
- 4/5
Good location, nice breakfast, easy to get about New York
- 4/5
Very convenient location - 5-10 minutes from times square or subway to get into any location. Having included breakfast is always a great thing. Only reason for giving 4 is that ventilation system is centralized and someone was smoking every day and smoke was getting into a room when AC was on.
- 2/5
Property is very old and their rooms need an update. Dirty carpets and mold. Too overcrowded for the little Lobby.
- 3/5
Inside the hotel was fine, the outside was in a busy area in the city and the streets were gross and scary at night. But that’s everywhere in the city to be honest. When we got there we were told they had no more rooms and we had to walk like 8 blocks to another hotel at like 11pm. Would’ve been nice if they told us beforehand. The room at the other location was clean though and the guy at the front was nice.
- 4/5
Breakfast was free to everyone but we had to eat outside on the Friday as everyone including us seemed to be fooled by the 9.00 finish time and turned up around 8.45. Saturday and Sunday with a 10.00 finish were much more relaxing. The hotel is not far from West 34th Street's Penn Street Station and the Subway is cheap and easy to use, although we tended to walk to most places as far up as the Rockefeller Centre where there is a great view of Central Park from the 70th floor Observation Tower.
- 5/5
Very nice and clean hotel near all major attractions . Breakfast was great as well .
- 5/5
Bed comfort was ok
- 4/5
Lovely staff. Secure and quiet property. Has a bit of a dingy feeling, though I think this is mainly because the area itself is a bit dingy and unpleasant. Definitely not my first choice for a neighborhood to stay in, but if I must this was a perfectly good deal for a place to be.
- 5/5
Could have had Netflix and other apps otherwise everything was excellent
- 4/5
Easy to access and good breakfast
- 5/5
There wasn’t much tv access, but everything else was excellent.
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 3/5
The sofa in the room was smelling very bad. The hotel is outdated.
- 5/5
I highly would recommended to any one, great place
- 5/5
Bed was comfortable. Plenty of great options for food and shopping around the area. Central location close to train station
- 4/5
Excellent location to stay with family as you can see the major attractions of downtown on walk
- 5/5
Wonderful little gem. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The staff was very curious and extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay!
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Good for price
- 5/5
Very centrally located. There is a subway entrance right around the corner and almost everything is within walking distance. We were able to drop our bags off at the desk prior to check in and after check out to continue enjoying the city. The floors that had ice machines also had water refill stations. The mini fridge in the room worked really well. We would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Great area. Close to everything. Great terrace
- 5/5
The view and Staff are awesome! You can tell that people like working there. Def recommend and be patient w the elevator. An amazing experience especially bringing my Son for the 1st time. 🙏
- 5/5
The Hyatt Place was a nice cozy, clean and friendly hotel. It was within walking distance to everywhere you would want to go in New York City.

- 5/5

- 3/5
Inside and staff were great.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay, walking distance to attractions
- 5/5
The hotel is small mall but nice
- 3/5
this is a very average hotel the room was dated /nothing special, certainly nothing to write a nine rating pr 4 stars the breakfast that was free was atrocious, these type of simple breakfast should be easy -dried out eggs and stale bread
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and helpful. Location perfect for navigating 5th and 6th Ave on your own. Room clean and odour free. No hesitation in recommending.
- 5/5
Very happy that the front desk staff told us to check oit the view from the roof deck. Amazing view of the Empire State Building.
- 4/5
Great location for a short stay. Clean. Rooms in the front are extremely noisy. I liked that our room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was crowded with no where to sit (plenty of tables but they’re always filled), so we skipped that most days. I’d stay here again.
- 5/5
The Hyatt Place in Midtown is very conveniently located to many of the major sites in NYC. It is possible to walk to very many of them. Others are only 5/6 bus stops away. The facilities are clean. Rooms have a good view. The breakfast is great and the staff work very hard to keep things freshly stocked.
- 3/5
Overall ok. We went one hour late Room is available but not ready.

This is my 2nd time staying here and will always stay here when I visit NYC. This time it was just me and my oldest daughter. We felt safe, it was in the middle of anywhere we wanted to go. Lots of things to do in walking distance. And we would easily uber to places out of walking range. Breakfast has lots of options and is a full spread. Check in was easy and the view of the Empire State Building is amazing. If you don’t have a room with a view you can always go to 26 th floor . Patio has a view , i recommend grab a pizza and sit up there and enjoy at night.
- 4/5
The location is great, walking distance to the subway. The building it's self is older, but kept up well. Could use a new coat of paint, but other than that it's nice. Of course it's the city so it's not a lot of room but our family of 6 made it work
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Really liked small touches such as earplugs for the noise! Very comfortable night sleep after a busy day in the city. 100% recommend for family of 5.
- 1/5
They didn't have a room available after booking two months in advance and left us with no room at midnight walking around.
- 3/5
For a family of five it was great to fit in one room. Location near Bryant Park can’t be beat. Easy access to 34th Street Subway. Loved the location.
- 5/5
Nice room. Friendly staff. Great rooftop and view of the Empire State Building!
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
I enjoyed the view and the terrace.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Check in was easy, room was a good size, front desk staff were pleasant, breakfast was plentiful, tasted as expected nothing fancy. In a very walkable area, close to the hustle and bustle but not directly in it. I would stay again
- 5/5
I stayed overnight, with my 12 year old, for my birthday. The front desk, staff was very friendly. They gave me a slice of cake. We ordered dinner from the bar across the lobby, and they delivered it to our room on the 23rd floor. The hotel has a roof top garden on the 26th floor. We will stay there again.
- 5/5
Clean and great location.
- 4/5

- 4/5
Great, convenient location. Breakfast got the job done. Cool rooftop deck with an awesome view of the Empire State Bldg.
- 4/5
While we booked a multibed room at a higher floor, they had us checked in a queen bed room, claiming this is what we paid for. After challenging, finally they gave us a multi bed room - but at 6th floor claiming this is ‘high floor’. Again, when challenged, and requested a meeting with the manager, they agreed that 6th is not a high floor - offered a credit. My family had to move rooms- had to remain standing in lobby for long time with no support from hotel to move luggage when we had to move rooms for no fault of ours - They claimed Expedia info disnt flow into their system - which would request Expedia to sort.
