    Staff was very pleasant and helpful! Location was awesome! Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was pretty good, but would be nice to change it up a bit from time to time. Elevator was too small for that many rooms of people. All in all, we had a great stay and would recommend.

    We had to use the public restroom on the first floor, which was very inconvenient. The toilet was only repaired after we followed up again the next day. While the issue was eventually fixed, the experience was still disappointing. The shower was also quite frustrating. The showerhead was mounted extremely high—I’m 5’4” and had to stand on my tiptoes just to reach it. On top of that, the water sprayed in all directions, so even when I didn’t want to wash my hair, I ended up getting it wet anyway.

    Night staff I believe his name was Charles “night supervisor” was extremely rude and I felt racially profiled. I had been there plenty of nights and then one night he just started yelling that he needed to seem my id (which would’ve been okay, if I hadn’t been there for 3nights already and showed my id every night or every time I returned) He instantly went from 0 to 100 with his tone and was disrespectful.

    The location and kind reception staff Breakfast, the same thing, not tasty, for a guest staying for a week - it is almost very bad. Taxi - the flat rate does bot work. I asked would I be asked to add taxes, or extra for paying card:((((It is flt rate was the answer. Not the case unfortunately:(((

    All my staff interactions were very pleasant and they were all helpful and accommodating. Property is clean and well maintained. Only small issue I had was that since I was in a wheelchair the elevator and hallways are a bit small but you can still maneuver through. Loved the fact that they had a wheelchair accessible elevator from the street to the main lobby. Overall experience was pretty good in my book.

    Great location close to the subway and a quick walk to Penn Station and other places we wanted to visit. Loved being in Korea town because of the food and the abundance of people out and about. The room we had was great, and the daily breakfast was a nice amenity.

    Before arriving, we had been upgraded, but we weren't informed that we were later downgraded until after finally receiving our rooms, and only after waiting for hours in the lobby. It also seemed that guests who arrived after us and requested early check-in were helped before we were. I called a few days before and again the night before our stay to ask whether I should book the previous night since we were arriving at 6 a.m. I was told it wasn't necessary, yet we were unable to check in until 2:30 p.m. because the hotel was fully booked. At one point, a front desk employee appeared ready to assign our friends a room until another employee whispered something to him, after which he said, "I actually can't give you that room." This particular front desk lady consistently displayed a poor attitude toward us, especially toward me, which made us feel unwelcome. When we finally checked in, our room had not been properly cleaned. We had to switch rooms because the first room was dirty, had visible damage, stained lamps, and was missing items such as a hair dryer. The air conditioning did not work properly in either room. There were also issues with baggage handling and we were even given the wrong bag at one point to which they had to come to our room to take it back. Additionally, the hotel has only one very small elevator for all guests. The only positives were the lounge area and the second-floor lounge restroom.

    Property was average. Room wasn’t bad but carpet throughout the entire hotel was dirty/stained, A/C didn’t work well. Location was ok- within walking distance to Times Square, Empire State Building. Breakfast wasn’t worth the trip so we ate out daily.

    Rooms are incredibly spacious for a NYC hotel. Love the sustainable toiletries (not single use). Very comfortable bed and bedding. Complimentary breakfast had hot and cold options in a very nice setting. Walking distance from MSG. Perfect hotel for concerts and dining out. 36th Street has lots of cool options. The hotel block has tons of Korean and other Asian restaurants. Great hotel! Will definitely keep it in mind for our next nyc visit!

    Great location. Friendly staff (especially Jakob and an older man, perhaps a manager who gave treats to our son). Free and unlimited bottled water, tea and coffee all day. Possibility to use the microwave and eat the brought dinner at the table. By American standards, breakfast is ok, especially the choice of vegetables. Large and comfortable room.

    The building is old, so you should be prepared for some issues: the shower has low water pressure, and the toilet clogs easily. However, the hotel staff responds quickly and is helpful. The beds are comfortable, and complimentary breakfast is included.

    I really liked the courteous service from the staff. They were always coming to the assistance of people that had luggage to get in and out of the building. They helped with getting an Uber and luggage loaded. They were always smiling and friendly, willing to talk. I would recommend this hotel highly.

    There was an issue with the water in the shower, it came out brown and sometimes in brown clumps like dirt, we called maintenance and they came up and looked, had us run the water and said they were going to check the boiler room, it cleared up for about a day and then happened again, needless to say we could not shower and were afraid to use the water in the sink, so we bought bottled water to use. As I checked out and mentioned it to the staff, they said "oh yeah that happened a couple of years ago"

    "City view" means of the street below and the building across the way. This hotel is in Koreatown. If you enjoy Japanese, Korean and Chines food, you will love this location. In the room, there was a small refrigerator but a coffee machine and microwave would have been nice. There is a very limited buffet breakfast. They served scrambled eggs, cereal, salad (!!??), limited fruit, yogurt, croissants and toast and wide variety of beverages (coffee, juices, tea, bottled water). The people working there were very nice and the doormen were very helpful. "Boki" was very helpful with our luggage and with the Uber.

    The hotel is in a good location for Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Macy’s and the Empire State Building. It’s also only a 10 - 15 minute walk to Time’s Square. The area felt safe to walk around at day and night. Staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is in need of refurbishment however so the room was very dated by modern standards.

    An excellent stay. 1 King bed had a very large room. You’re in Korea Town, 50 feet from Broadway. You can walk to the theater district. There was an entrance to the subway 20 feet away. Property was a little shop warn. Breakfast was bare bones, but here were 2 very good bakeries within 50 ft feet of the hotel.

    The hotel was in the perfect location! Staff (in particular, Jakob) were wonderful. There were very few “amenities.” We only took advantage of the included breakfast once - the offerings were very limited, but we did appreciate the coffee. Not having coffee in the room was disappointing. All in all, we would recommend it based on location alone. I would suggest that visitors understand it is an older property.

    The location of this hotel is excellent, particularly if you are taking the train from Penn Station. However, the rooms are very small. There was no space to even open a medium size suitcase and only two small drawers in the closet. The bathroom did not have much space either. The hair dryer in our room did not work - it was replaced, and the tile on the shower wall had some black mold, which was cleaned after I requested a cleaning. The room felt a little like staying in "Aunt Sadie's" attic. The breakfast was very disappointing - the bagels were the worst I had ever had. We only had breakfast there the first night and found other options for the remaining two nights. I would not stay in this hotel again.

    A few minutes walk from Penn Station. Hotel offers daily housekeeping and we had the breakfast every morning which was self service and food was of excellent quality . Hotel also offers free bottle water when you need it and complementary tea and coffee until 7pm. It is a few minutes walk from The Empire State building and beside loads of eating places. The hop on bus stops around the corner so is really convenient to see around the City.

    There had been a leak in the room and the carpet was stained and gross.everyday I made a path using towels from the bed to the bathroom. Tv didn’t work the 1 st day, lamp didn’t work correctly.

    The location was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The room was a bit small, but it wasn’t a major issue. In the lobby, there were freshly brewed coffee options available, along with complimentary sparkling water, filtered water, and ice, which was a nice touch. The room was quiet, the water pressure was good, and the hair dryer was powerful, so my hair dried quickly. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

    The breakfast was good and the area was nice. Staff was pleasant. The tv was not working in the rooms for 3 out of 5 days. Our room was very spacious, especially for a NYC hotel. However, I found our room very dingy, old and in fair condition. The neighborhood is very vibrant, but I prefer a less hectic environment especially just outside the main entrance. This was the second time I stayed here and will select another hotel for my next NYC trip.

    I found the hotel is unpretentious, very comfortable, quiet, very well situated (central and next to a subway station with numerous lines). My room, while not ultra-modern, was home-like, quiet, well equipped and a little more spacious than I anticipated. The breakfast was fine and very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. By Manhattan standards, I found the Hotel Stanford to be an extremely good value. I enjoyed my 4 nights there, and I would return.

    The breakfast was excellent. The staff in the breakfast room, at the front desk, and the doormen, were all wonderful. We enjoyed our comfortable room. The breakfast room was quiet with nice music, great ambiance, enjoyable coffee, juices, and food.     Great location, right on Korea Way. Lots of restaurant options but no parking. Breakfast was okay, staff were very nice. I had a corner room, firstly the room was super hot, then the longer I stayed, got cooler. Phoned the desk to ask how I could adjust the thermostat (I’d been trying to no avail) but it’s a centralised heater I guess…they offered to bring me a portable heater but it was my last night at that point & I saw no reason. Great customer service though 10/10. Would definitely stay here again.

    You’re not allowed to take your food back to your room which also felt weird considering there wasn’t always seating. My heater in my room didn’t work very well. Outside of these things the staff were great and helpful when I expressed concern over finding my keycard reader on the floor outside my door. They were quick to check it out and kind. The doormen were also very polite and kind. Not a bad stay. It’s local to a lot of stuff with easy subway access and close to Penn station. Breakfast just needs some major sprucing.

    Location was amazing!!! It’s surrounded by so many places to eat and shop; close to the subway and bus stops; and walkable to tourist spots such as the Empire, Madison Square, Broadway/Times Square, Fifth Avenue, etc. The hotel also offers 10% vouchers to a couple of restaurants around Koreatown! Staff were very friendly and helpful—always had a smile on their face when you pass the lobby and were happy to help if you needed something. Rooms were your standard hotel rooms—comfortable bed and was cleaned daily. Only downside was the one elevator but wait time for it wasn’t bad at all so not a big deal for me. They had complementary breakfast but I always missed it, although they serve coffee and tea until 7PM at the lobby which was nice. The block is very busy but I always felt safe—as a solo female traveller—and you don’t hear the noise from your room. 10/10 recommend and would definitely stay here again!

    Hotel Stanford is definitely somewhere I would stay again, for sure. The room had more space than I expected and was clean. TV had many channels and the desk was a nice touch. Plus the little refrigerator was much appreciated. The only reason I give it only 4 stars is that the thermostat in my room didn't work well and the heat setting didn't keep my room warm at all. However, the staff was quite attentive to the issue and offered a space heater that kept the room nice and warm. And the location is so near multiple subway stations that traveling around the city was easy, I totally appreciate that.

    The location is wonderful, about 100 feet from a subway station and right in the heart of Manhattan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are taken care of each evening with fresh towels and sheets and the staff was very attentive to our luggage and to breakfast patrons. However, the air conditioning is very inconsistent. I had difficulties sleeping due to the room being either too hot or too cold throughout the night, and the thermostat in the room seemingly had little effect. The continental breakfast is limited, but with passable options like toast, croissants, and eggs. I would steer very clear of the sausages, though. Overall it was a great vacation and this hotel helped contribute to that, so I am grateful, but unless I read about improvements to the air conditioning system I would be hesitant to stay here again as it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

    This location is ideal even for a solo female, as it is safe and so close to the subway system and a short walk to Penn Station. This is my second time by choice to be at this hotel, and I’ll go again next year. They are trying their best to revamp the cozy area to get breakfast. It’s very basic and as a vegetarian, I think them every time that they provide a solid, which may be an odd breakfast, but as a Health nut, it beats the rest of the items. We love the availability of the hot water, tea, and coffee at all times of day.

    The location is great if you're looking for something close to Penn Station. It's a benny to have breakfast included. The breakfast selection was adequate. One thing we didn't like in the room was the fact there is no top sheet on the bed, just a duvet. The duvet is most likely not cleaned between guest stays. There's a thermostat in the room and when I told the front desk it wasn't controlling the room temp I was told there was a central control for all the rooms. Why would you put a thermostat in a room that doesn't control anything? Bizarre. Easy access to the subway.

Wifi wasn't strong all the time. one lift in the building, so if you were wanting to check out with all your luggage, you were waiting for 20 mins to get a space in the lift.     Our room.although ok size... had no view so be aware if thats what you want this might not suit..we knew so were fine about it..the beds are quite soft...we were on 4th floor and had no noise which was good..breakfast is simple but nice...enough to help get going in morning.     The hotel is in a great location near Maceys and there’s a subway station just outside the front door. Staff were hel-ful and friendly. Room was ok for a New York stay but only downside of the room was it was very hot even when the thermostat was turned down.     We spent 3 nights and we had a good stay. The room was on floor 10. Room was clean and comfortable, it felt like an apartment. Personnel was very attentive and nice from the doorman, front desk, breakfast area... Breakfast didn’t have many options but it was a good head start to keep going without an empty stomach. Sometimes in the street you can choose a place to eat quick. Location was convenient, nearby restaurants, markets, and metro stations. Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

    The location is very accessible to the Subway train station, restaurants, and other points of interest in Korean town. The check in and out was quick. The lobby staff were courteous. Housekeeping staff kept our room spotless and odorless. The room was spacious than I expected given the narrow hallways and a tiny elevator. The breakfast menu could be better with alternative options, as eating the same meal for breakfast for a week stay can be too redundant. Maybe oatmeal, boiled eggs, waffles or pancakes, bacon or spam on some days rather than the same scrambled eggs and canned Vienna sausage. Otherwise, the food servers did an excellent job in making sure food items were replenished promptly. The coffee/tea station in the lobby was nice but a water dispenser would be great. We would probably stay here again especially if they would consider the suggestions mentioned on this review.

    The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. The entrance door was very thin, could easily break it, didn’t not go all the way to the floor, could see light coming in from the hallway. Front desk staff was not friendly at all unless it was the 2 men working, they would greet you as you walked past. The women would not acknowledge anyone at all. Even checking in they were very unfriendly. The doorman/security was nice and friendly. Overall I would not stay there again.

    Cons- The continental breakfast although free, it is almost non existent. Just eggs, toast, some basic fruits, cereal. Missing the potatoes, bacon, pancakes, waffles or pastries. The other big con- the electrical plugs don’t work. Out of all the electrical plugs only the bathroom one worked properly. The others did not work or had poor wobbly connections.

    The hotel was centrally located with plenty of food options within walking distance. For the rate and size of rooms its pretty good. Keep in mind its a3 star hotel, with that said, its no luxury hotel. Continence breakfast limited options. Staff is good, very responsive when notified of any maintenance issue.     The first room they put us in was the size of a closet. The air units outside were making so much noise that it was rattling the windows so we requested to have our rooms changed. The next rooms we got were much larger and the beds are relatively comfortable however don’t bother trying to take a shower it was lukewarm at best. One very small elevator with a very tiny stairwell. If you had to take the steps, most of the staff was pleasant however, there was a few that just could not understand any request. We asked one of the members of the staff for some additional washcloths and for the life of her, she could not figure out what we needed.

    The hotel was tidy, and the staff was very nice. However, the water pressure in the shower is TERRIBLE! Taking a shower was almost impossible. Also, I visited in the winter, so the heaters were on, but it was unbearably hot at nights. I spent all night sweating due to how high the heaters were. And moving the thermostat was unfortunately not an option. Otherwise, this hotel was nice and in a relatively good area.

    The rooms were clean and very nice, on the smaller side with no view (brick wall next door), but very clean and comfortable. The staff were courteous. This little hotel is nestled into Koreatown, with amazing restaurants all around. You can get discount coupons for many of them from the front desk. The hotel continental breakfast was nice, as was the Udon restaurant right next door to the hotel lobby that served delicious food and had great service. A subway stop entrance right on the corner made it easy to get just about anywhere. And, the price was right!

    The room was comfortable enough and a decent price. The area made everything easily accessible. Not recommended for anyone sensitive to sound, as you are always hearing the street, and the gaps under the doors don’t insulate the sounds of the hallway.

    The water in the shower took 3-5 minutes to warm up. The water was a little brown for showers 1 and 2 all of which I let mgmt know about. There were also clumps of dried hair on the shower walls while I was taking my first shower. The location is central, but the windows are paper-thin. I heard every noise from the street ALL night long.

    They downgraded me to a full sized bed even though my reservation was for a queen. My room view was a wall. The room was outdated and the size of a shoe box. My friend has a drunk guy knock on her door at 2 am and just stand outside her door creepy like. There was only one functional elevator for the whole hotel and the breakfast was very basic and a joke. I went expecting a nice NY experience and honestly would never go back or recommend this hotel.

    Amazing location and a plus that breakfast was included in the price of the hotel stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and well-kept. Hotel guests have access to a hotel bar and lounge area plus there’s a great bar and separate restaurant attached. I would definitely stay here again. We went during Christmas and I loved the seasonal, festive decorations of the hotel…made it feel very much like the holidays which is exactly what I wanted.

    First thing the steps to go into the hotel are very high and inconvenient to get in there is no ramp to make it easier. There is only one elevator and it’s small. The breakfast area is small for all the guests. The beds are very comfortable to sleep on the only downside is the water pipes screeching all night. Otherwise the service was good very nice employees. Before thinking of staying there again I would have to shop around finding something a little better.

    This is the second time my wife and I have stayed here, and we feel it is the best place to stay in Manhattan for several reasons: Very reasonably prices, our room was clean and the hotel staff friendly and attentive to our needs. Albeit while some of the furniture could use some updating (dresser, end table), what mattered most, the bedding, couch, bathroom were updated, fresh and clean.And also unlike most affordable city hotel rooms, since it is an older hotel, the room was spacious with plenty of room to spread out and not be cramped in the slightest and has an "old New York hotel" charm to it. Breakfast was okay, a typical continental fare (although the vienna sausages they served with scrambled eggs was a bit odd) and fresh every morning we were there. Another huge plus for us is the hotel is perfectly located to eveything we wanted to do and where we wanted to go being right in midtown in the heart of Korea-town it was completely safe and within walking distance to so much. We are already planning next year's Christmas in New York vacation and have no doubt we will be coming back here again.

    Convenient location and friendly staff but sub par in every other way. From the dirty carpets to the slow single elevator it’s very worn and has seen better days. Shower had very little water pressure and has a flimsy curtain that sticks to you while you’re trying to rinse off. The room door is warped or missing a seal so the hallway light is blinding all night.

    The room and bathroom were very clean. The towels were white and fluffy and the bed sheets were white and crisp. The TV worked fine and so did the little fridge. The closet was large with a safe in it. My only complaint was the temperature of the room, it was so warm. I turned off the heat, I turned on the AC and nothing worked except to open up the window about 1/2”. That did the trick but the other problem was the construction going on outside the window (room 504). The amount of dust that came into the room was crazy !!

    Great location, decent accommodations, and helpful staff. Loved the free bottles of water! Our room was boiling hot and staff told us the entire hotel was kept at the same temperature, so the only way to cool down was leaving the window open. Breakfast was unappealing (wet eggs, sketchy sausage) and crowded, so we just ate out in the AM. Sometimes it was hard to get an elevator in the morning because everyone was going to/from breakfast.

    I drove 8 hours to get there, I had no knowledge that where I parked was to be moved due to street cleaning nor did I know there was a fee for parking there. There was no parking meter anywhere near the parking space until I received 2 parking tickets with a possibility of being towed. It would have been helpful if I was asked if I had a vehicle and informed of the parking restrictions I would have parked somewhere else; if I had known there was a way to pay a meter I would’ve done so & avoided the $180 ticket fee and the $60 parking garage fee. If staff can inform guests of this maybe it would help guests avoid my problem & save them $. Due to this I will not be back which is unfortunate because everything else was great. Staff & everything else was great.

    Spacious room in a great location but unfortunately the heating and AC is all centrally controlled by floor. My room was at about 68 degrees without the AC or heat on. When I tried to cool it down it only blew hot air. I had to shut it off and sleep with the window open to cool it down just to 65. Just too hot to sleep well and too noisy after 5:30 with the window open. It’s too bad. I’d stay here again if they could fix that.

    The location of the hotel is very centralized to everything we needed. It’s really close to Penn Station, subway stops and the Path. It’s within walking distance to Empire State Building, Times Square and Broadway. The hotel room was very clean. I stayed with my daughter and we had the room with two twin sized beds. The beds were comfortable, room was clean and it had shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion dispensers. The breakfast offered in the mornings is also a great start to the long days in New York. Will be staying here again.

    Another member of staff chased after me saying im not allowed. The lady that told me I could take it intercepted her.     This hotel is US version of the Travelogue hotel in UK. Beds are very uncomfortable and shower has minimum water pressure. So after long days walking around Manhattan you cannot make even fresh tea or coffee at the hotel room. The breakfast is just waste of time as they don’t serve proper coffee (filter coffee is just a dream) and with the plastic cutlery, long queues waiting for the table (is better to go to Gregory’s coffee shop across the road) and with super slow lift just not worth it. The only good thing is the location and very friendly hotel staff.

    The heating system did not work, no glasses or cups in the room and we had to go to second floor when we were staying on the 8th floor. The internet was extremely terrible, as you should advertise that your internet is, "dial up," as I had to use my hot spot to have internet. It seemed outdated and carpet seemed old. The staff was nice. It just lacked value.

    My experience was great--the hotel is located in Koreatown and is very close to a subway stop, which was very convenient for everything I wanted to do! The hotel room was clean, the staff were very polite and accommodating--I was able to store my luggage there before my check-in time and they also let me keep it there after I checked out (my flight didn't leave until late in the afternoon). Highly recommended!!

    Our room was located to the back of the hotel, so although we didn’t have a view, it was quiet and extremely comfortable and clean. Comfy bed, lovely big bathroom, plenty of towels, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash and lotion. Good wardrobe space, safe, fridge and free WiFi. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety of food & drinks, and was also included in the price. The manager also put out lemon slices each morning, to add to my hot water, after I queried availability on the first day. The hotel is situated in an excellent location within walking distance to Penn Station, shops, restaurants, the subway, and all the main attractions. There is also a lift in the hotel. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

    I would highly recommend that you stay at Hotel Stanford. Very friendly staff. We were able to check in at 2 instead of 4. Excellent location to hop on a train to go anywhere. 3 blocks away from the Penn station if you catch the LIRR. It is a good size room and the bed is so comfortable to sleep on. Many options for breakfast. Coffee and tea from 10 until 6pm. CVS is on the same block. They also have coupons to many restaurants around the hotel. I went to Capt. Lou, across the street from the hotel, and got a lobster roll for only $19.99 and with the 10% off. I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come back to NY!

    While I was surprised by the 4 pm check-in time (most hotels are 3 pm) and had to wait until a bit after 4 to check in, the staff was pleasant enough. The room was small but that's normal in NYC. unfortunately, there were long black hairs remaining in the shower, no drinking cups, and the sink drained VERY slowly. I alerted the front desk to there being no cups and the drain problem, and by the time I came back in the afternoon, the problems had been solved! When reserving the room I requested a room at the end of the hallway for more chance at quiet, and received it - great. I was also on the top floor (12), which helped, except for the longer elevator wait (only one elevator). Breakfast was fine, although the choice of hot dog pieces for the morning, instead of more customary bacon or sausage, was odd. Great access to multiple subway lines and Herald Square. I would stay here again!

    The service was wonderful. The room was hot and stuffy. The AC did not really work and on one day put out hot air. The breakfast was the exact same thing every day. The location is really good and very convenient. Don’t get a cocktail at the bar. Even though we were told we got a discount, they were more expensive to the bar next door (we checked) and they were horrible.

    The location was great. We could walk to Times Square, Macy's, and even to Central Park. The room was really quiet, and we slept great.     A couple of things about the room however. The heat never really warmed the room to our desired temperature, so it was off by a few degrees and between the super water saver shower and the not all that hot water temperature, the shower never felt much more than warm. Midnight is not when I want to be dealing with hotel issues like this, so we let it be. Also thought it was a bit pricey. We stayed in the same neighborhood last year, about the same date and it was much cheaper.

    Hot water was difficult to get for the first day and a half. Rooms do not actually have temperature control so saying there is “AC” felt misleading, but I recognize it’s been unseasonably warm. The staff did bring up a fan and were very kind and attentive. Room was pretty loud during the day due to construction outside but it’s the city so that’s pretty expected for a building of this age. If you need to work from the room or sleep during the day I might consider another option. The location is fantastic! Even with all of this I would stay again if I needed to be in this area of the city

    The room was clean, albeit unremarkable. The staff was excellent. Friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast was a bit lacklustre, but given the central location and the likely pricing of breakfast nearby, “included” was a pleasant option. Depending when you arrived, the scrambled eggs could be cold and I have never seen hotdog pieces served as a breakfast item. Perhaps more pastry/muffin selections could improve the overall experience, but we were not disappointed since we had planned for the possibility of worse. Overall, charming hotel with character in a bustling, central location. (Wish they had more than one elevator, but I understand the limitations of the space.). Great weekend and a lovely hotel.

    Stayed here with a friend for a long weekend. Our (2 double bed) room was spacious, clean, and surprisingly quiet despite abutting the elevator. The one time we called down for assistance, service was very fast. Front desk and door staff were consistently prompt and friendly. I didn't use the wi-fi so cannot speak to it personally, but my friend seemed to have no issues or complaints with it. AC worked smoothly. We enjoyed complimentary water and continental breakfast daily before heading out on city adventures, for which this hotel is perfectly centrally located. I would love to stay here again the next time I'm in town!

    Property was clean, but old. Photos in listing are not accurate, windows have been photoshopped, they are actually bricked over and same as a bottom deck cruise ship room with no daylight. Staff professional and nice, however very limited by senior management in being able to provide true 4-star experience and clearly not a goal to have repeat customers. Posh room prices for a motel 6 experience. Brown water flowing into tub. Forced Room change and no upgrade. Paid more than $150 over current rate because I booked in advance and rate dropped, refused to make an adjustment.

    We had a fantastic one night stay here after a concert at MSG. It was a short walk back to the hotel, my daughter and I felt very safe even though the concert ended at midnight. We will definitely stay here again. The free breakfast buffet was excellent. It’s a small dining room so go early.     This hotel is in Midtown South Manhattan near the Empire State Building. The hotel is a pretty good value for the area. Our room was large and nice and the hotel staff were great. Free breakfast was a big plus. There is a subway station steps from the hotel. There are more than enough places to eat and Greeley Square and Herald Square are right there. It is in a very busy area in Koreatown. The immediate area is okay but you could call it a little loud and dirty. All in all, this worked well for our once-in-a-lifetime week as tourists in NYC.

    The hotel is steps away from a Subway stop, always a plus in NYC. It is in Koreatown and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. The included breakfast could be better - only two Keurigs for coffee so always a line. White bread and bagels for toasting (another line) but there was fresh fruit, two cereals, yogurt and some cheese. Everything on disposable plates/cups/plastic flatware. My room on 10th floor was OK. Lighting in bathroom was dim. Bed was comfy. There was noise from outside but I think that’s par for the course in NYC. Hotel staff were lovely, very helpful. They have coupons for nearby restaurants and their bar. We ate at the adjacent Udon Lab restaurant twice and enjoyed it both times. The hotel’s wine bar has live music Friday and Saturday nights but we were the only ones there on Saturday. A shame, since the singers were quite good. I would stay here again.
