This was a great place to stay. Rooms are small, but has to be expected, considering it’s New York City. But this was a great little boutique hotel in Chinatown and the location was excellent. The only thing I had an issue with was we had trouble getting hot water for showers. Other than that this place was amazing.

This hotel is located in Chinatown, near Manhattan Bridge. It is well connected to public transport (subway Grand Street and East Broadway, but also buses). The hotel is clean (with everyday room cleaning) and it has a comfortable bed. The staff is super nice and always ready to help for everything. The walls do not really isolate from sounds of the other rooms but from the fifth floor we didn't hear the street noises. We recommend this hotel for anybody who would like to visit New York. The only thing we didn't appreciate much is the moquette on the bedroom floor.

The room was clean and comfortable but where the listings said “interior room”, what it failed to mention was that it was in the basement-the only room there-next to the laundry and in a corridor stacked with boxes and containers. Lots of noise in the corridor from hotel staff in the morning. Also, where it was listed as Lower East Side, it is-in effect-in Chinatown. The only saving grace was the reasonable price.

It was great value for money. A great location - really easy to walk through Chinatown and to lots of nice bars, cafes and restaurants. It was also very close to the subway station. The room was clean, the aircon worked really well and the bed was comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday and everything was replenished. It was a little bit small. It was a bit noisy one of the nights when there were loud people in the hallway.

Its clean and the staff are nice. Its also very close to where I need to be. The AC wasnt on until I asked, and the bed is a bit too high for me.

Room 128 was also not acceptable. While I understand basement rooms may be part of the property layout, this room is located directly next to the office, and noise from staff activity is loud and clear. This significantly affected the overall stay experience.

Nice front desk staff Has seen better days. Dings and scrapes on walls; peeling wallpaper. Toilet that wouldn't stop flushing without our intervention. Water pressure too light in the shower. Noise carried through walls with drunk people up till 4am. Tiny room. On the plus side, comfortable bed and good location.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The manager, Mr. Lazaro, was incredibly kind and upgraded my room to the highest floor with a beautiful view of the city and the Manhattan Bridge for my upcoming birthday. He also allowed me to check in a couple of hours early, which was greatly appreciated. The room was great, complete with complimentary snacks and bottled water. The shower always had consistent hot water, and the beds were exceptionally soft and comfortable. I fell asleep the moment my head hit the pillow, which definitely helped me beat my jet lag quickly. The location is also super convenient, with the East Broadway subway station just a 4-minute walk away. Every staff member I had a chat with was friendly and helpful. I did have one minor hiccup when I woke up in the middle of the night to noisy neighbors playing loud music. When they ignored my polite request to turn it down, I went down to the 24/7 reception desk. The staff member on duty handled the situation promptly. Having someone at reception around the clock is a huge plus, not just for situations like this, but for overall peace of mind. I would like to thank the entire hotel team for making my stay as comfortable as possible.

Whatever you do, avoid staying on the first floor. The rooms are right in the lobby, so not only can you see into the room from the street when the door is open, but you will also hear every single noise and guest throughout the night. The staff was able to accommodate us in a new room for our second night, which made a huge difference. It also revealed that the first-floor rooms are much more outdated than the rest. Both rooms had mildew in the shower tiles, but I've seen that in a lot of the older NYC hotels. Other than that, the location is pretty good and pricing is much better than other similar options in the area.

Very convenient location in LES, a great hotel for the price.

The location was SO convenient! Near Chinatown and Little Italy, you have so many great food options, and you're not too far from bus or subway stops. The block is a little intimidating at night if you're alone, but as we were in a group of three, it was okay. Also... it's New York City. So you come to expect that.

The room was very small. It was hard to open the luggage without putting it on the bed. The room didn't have a fridge.

Apart from the point mentioned below about value for money, everything else including room service, cleanliness and facilities were good and most of the staff were nice. We booked the deluxe queen room, and mentioned beforehand to the hotel staff that we would like a room with a view as promised and as we paid $60 extra for the entire stay to book from queen to queen deluxe. Yet the first night, they gave us a room with a pretty small size (for both room and bathroom) and no special features that would call it a queen 'deluxe'. Then we had to complain and ask for the value of our money, and following a few minutes of argument, they agreed to move us to a new room, the second day. And it was significantly bigger and with more features that would justify the extra price. But what caught our concern is that they are calling some average queen rooms also as 'queen deluxe' and people are paying extra for what's not worth it; for example - our one night in the higher price booking was for nothing, and we would never find the difference unless we would complain and ask for a room change.

Convent to Chinatown. Bed was comfortable, but squeaky. Unable to adjust the temperature in the room. Weather outside was 30s-50s. The room was locked in at a temperature of 76-79 causing too much heat. Basically was sweating in the room with a bedsheet. Made it very unpleasant to sleep.

The location was excellent. Fun neighborhood and close to the subway. We had a gorgeous view of the Manhattan Bridge from the 9th floor. Staff were friendly. When we arrived there was no one at the desk, no one answered the phone, and there was no sign saying ‘be back in 15 mins’. We were tired and just wanted to check in and had to wait for 10+mins for someone to show up. The lack of a sign made us worry the desk person had had a medical emergency. The shower curtain was not long enough to prevent water from coming onto the floor. The tub did not have a stopper so taking a bath was not possible. The bathroom sink faucet fixtures were loose.

The price was very good for my week of travel, I even felt a bit suspicious at first :) But the staff was very supportive and answered all my messages promptly and in a very friendly way, so I felt a good welcoming vibe. It was a great stay! Nice room with a comfortable queen-size bed, clean, spacious and cozy private bathroom (with a wide window! that was super cool). A small safe box in the wall, a small coffee maker. Air conditioner was working well (it happened to be a pretty cold week, so AC was working as a heater, both in the room and the bathroom, and it was good). There was a free coffee stand downstairs at the lobby as well. The staff was always friendly and ready to help (one night the lock in my room didn’t work, flat batteries, but they replaced it right away). The location is good, on the border of China and Lower East Side, my local friend praised my choice :) It was a walking distance to two different metro lines, so it was easy to get uptown. I was a bit cautious while booking cause it said that after the free cancellation period the hotel will keep the whole amount of the reservation (some hotels only charge the first night in no-show situation). But since all went as planned and there was no force major, I didn’t have to worry about that after all. And the overall price was very good.

They didn’t even let us in. We had a reservation and they said we were not allowed in after paying everything

They charged me $35 even though it says all taxes and fees are included this $35 charge was separate to the hotel when I got there plus they charge you a deposit deposit didn’t even come back to my account. As far as the day goes, I got there on December 31 at 7 PM. We were playing a little bit of music in my room nothing too crazy loud we were pregaming to go to an event. The people next-door complained. It wasn’t like we’re being uncivilized. It’s New Year’s Eve in New York City. I paid $500 to this website and then I have to pay another 135 when I got there the water wasn’t hot. The room is small. They just know how to take pictures. Honestly, I would never ever book this place again if you’re spending more than $200 for this location, you’re being robbed they still didn’t get back my deposit and if your receipt says all fees are included, it’s a lie

The night we stayed the Internet went out so we didn't have the best time with no TV and barely cellular service in the basement. Front desk was only able to refund the service fee butwe appreciate at least that.

They put me in a room right next to the elevator it was loud and the walls were thin.

Booked a city view room, and was able to see the manhattan bridge from the bathroom and bedroom window. It was a nice touch. Bathroom and room itself were extremely clean with the exception of one thing. Half way through my night, I pulled my comforter further down on the opposite of where I was laying, and discovered dried blood. There were multiple splotches of it near the top and further down going towards the middle of it. I was completely disgusted after this and then started thinking what else wasn't clean. I'm not sure how a hotel could miss something like that. It appears as if the linen doesn't get washed and the houskeeper flipped the comforter in hopes of it never being found. It's a shame because until then, I was pleasantly surprised and happy with booking this place last minute.

Room was well appointed considering size. Furniture was old and none of it really matched- but it was super clean and the linens were nice and comfy. Staff was very nice. Snacks and water were a really nice touch-- they really do well with making the hotel the best it can be considering the age. Great considering the location and value

Marketing for this hotel is intentionally deceptive. I needed a room for the night in the city and I saw this hotel. The room pics had a window with the curtain drawn. My room ended up being in the basement with a fake window behind the curtain. There was no air conditioning so the room was exceptionally hot. Being in the basement it was so loud with all the staff working. They said nothing about any of this. Don’t stay here. They’re liars.

All in all an ok stay, only negative is they do not give any extra. Your room gets as many towels and waters as ppl daily, they will not give any extras what so ever. Other than that ok

Great affordable spot, in the heart of Chinatown. Walking distance from the Brooklyn Bridge, East River walkway, and easy transit access. Quiet room. Very helpful staff. They went out of their way to let me know when I left behind some valuables when I checked out, and shipped them to me pronto.

Courteous staff. Convenient location near Chinatown. Areas for Improvement: Every room is next to elevators, leading to notable noise disturbances. Late-night conversations in the hallway are clearly heard in the rooms, affecting sleep quality. The design of the entry door latch mechanism causes them to slam loudly, contributing to noise issues. Presence of trash piles on the 2nd-floor balcony. Recommendation for Improvement: Install high-quality door seals in all rooms. This would not only reduce the noise from the hallway but also mitigate the sound of neighbors doors slamming. It's a cost-effective solution that can significantly enhance guest comfort and improve the overall experience.

This hotel is VERY small the angle of the pictures might make you think otherwise The location is Terrible, in the middle of chinatown, not even the good part, the bad side of chinatown, because when we were in a uber we realized we were in "The bad" part of china town Room service TERRIBLE, they dont make the bed, just pull the sheet back There was a nice gentleman at the front desk THAT"S IT EVertyhing else about this place make me itch No parking either the one public parking around was fully booked the 3 days we were there No food options, train closest train station not that close. Anyways I will not visit again

Rooms are compact but location is best .good connectivity.

I would definitely stay again, my only suggestion is a microwave in the lobby would be nice.

It’s a good property if would be strictly on budget, there were other good properties around if you would like to spend a bit more, very small room for a family with adults and kids.

It was one of the cheapest hotel i could find in the area, but it was chinatown and the area is just dirty. The rooms were tiny and they didn't even provide toothbrush and toothpaste. There was some brown stuff on the bedding which i hope isn't what i think it was. Rooms are not sound proof. They recently renovated so the bathroom looked clean and nice. The location is near major subs and buses so very convenient. There are no refrigerator or microwave in the room...you have to go to the lobby.

Room in general was clean, hallway had an odd smell, maybe someone had a rough night

While several blocks from the subway the hotel is centrally located in Chinatown and very close to a number of restaurants. The building and room were very clean, well maintained, would stay here again!
