Property was dirty. Room was clearly not cleaned. There was hair in the shower and on the bed. Mold on towel, carpet and surrounding walls. . Bedding had cigarette burns.

This hotel is very nasty dirty filthy does not get clean. I would not leave my dog here to stay.

The moment you entered the room it smelled like someone smoked in every corner of the room the floor was sticky I didnt even any part of my body touch any part of this room. Disgusting
- 2/5
The carpet was extremely dirty, walking barefoot turned the bottom of our feet black. Carpet felt gross.

This hotel is located in a not so nice neighborhood especially at night. Parking is terrible. The phone lines don’t work and on that particular night the printer was not working therefore the receptionist was taking ID pictures with her phone. The room was nice and cool from the AC but the constant banging of the doors and hallway noise made sleep very uncomfortable and impossible. Someone had the music on blasting all night long which is insane. The floors and the sheets felt dirty however the bed was comfortable. I would never send my dog to spend a night there.

Price & location Staff wasn’t professional. Didn’t have towels available to use. Had to ask for towels and was told to wait 30 minutes. Because they were in the dryer. Didn’t have a remote in the room. This hotel had hourly rates, which let me knew it wasn’t family oriented. My sister got charged for a room that she didn’t stay in. The staff were very inappropriate and rude about the mix up.

Close to public transportation. Noisy, terrible neighborhood. Many noises during the night - loud music, people shouting, etc.

My room didn't have washcloths, and the room smelled soiled despite the appearance, the latch lock was missing or broken and there were several rooms open on this 2nd floor which made me very nervous.
- 3/5
We stayed at this hotel because of a last minute trip and a 12 hour layover for a flight. Orbitz says the hotel is 3.1 miles from JFK when it is actually a 7 mile trip and 20+ minutes. The hotel is in a sketchy neighborhood. They offer rooms for different hourly rates, you figure out why. The bed was comfortable, the staff was helpful. I would not stay there again.

I'd take my chances living on the street than ever staying here again. My mother had to beg for toilet paper and take that plus towels off the cart because they wouldn't give us any no matter how much we begged, yes I said beg. The random light switch that turns on a lamp, windows that need to be reinforced by my mother's cane, blankets that had cigarette holes that the worker claimed came from the washing machine (which we also had to ask for). Did I forget to mention that they rented out the rest of the rooms to knicks fans who proceeded to destroy their rooms (from the sounds of it), physically fought and running up,down the halls so I assume all they care about is money because the cops weren't called. Pictures online of hotel are as real as unicorns. Even heard another customer calling to get a refund from their credit card company. The injustices of this hotel are so massive that im sure if they were investigated, they would be shut down. Save your money, sanity and dignity and don't stay here.

I am surprised that Hotel.com, has this property on their site. No parking nearby, there is a shelter next door so there are people outside til 3-4 in the morning. They are loud, cursing, arguing and even sounding like they were fighting at one point. I have photos but there was confetti on the floor, burned marks on the bed, covers and dresser. No blow dryer, no iron, no cups, no comforter and all the furniture was old and had marks. The room smelled like cigarettes and the room next door kept smoking (which kept me up cause I am allergic). I paid for what I got but $343 for 2 nights should be a better experience than what I had.
- 0.5/5
Nothing about the location was appealing at all. Had to check out a day early for our safety. The entire neighborhood was rampant with unsavory individuals. From the drug dealers in the courtyard trying to sell me the goods to the prostitutes standing outside the hotel doors and in the lobby. No reputable hotel should book in hourly increments. No parking lot at all was the least of my worries. Night time travel was terrifying to say the least. Cleanliness was sub par and the walls were paper thin. Just what I needed to confirm every concern I had to decide on leaving the establishment for our safety. This place should not be available to book for travelers in need and should only service the local clientele for the purpose of which they intend, a place to satisfy their illegal activity.

While I was still checked in, I had my room invaded and my personal items stolen under the guise of the housekeeping team “mistakingly” cleaning my room when I did not ask for room service. My room was entered without my permission when I was away (while I was still a guest and not checked out yet). My personal items were stolen and I was told the were assumed to be trash and tossed out. Meanwhile my clothes were in the closet. The lady at the front desk on two consecutive days told me i would have to wait till the person showed up on the day shift before the issue could be resolved. Management was not informed and if they were, Irving was done about it. I was told there is nothing they can do about my things being thrown out. No compensation for having their irresponsible team come into a room they weren’t supposed to come into and thrown out a guest’s personal items. This is by far the most disappointing and disgusting experience I have had with a hospitality service. Truly utterly disgraceful.

The room only had one garbage bin that was in the bathroom. I went to the front desk and told the lady and she said the rooms only have one garbage bin. Lol mind you I’ve been there before and hotel rooms in general supposed to have a bin in the main room and one in the bathroom. But anyway the room wasn’t clean there was a hole in the ceiling of the bathroom. You hear a lot of noise from outside.its around the corner from Mott Ave which is as good as it gets. But ya get what you pay for

Price is affordable for Far Rockaway. However, the room I booked, became more evident that it was or is a smoking room... not because of visible ashtrays, but slight lingering odor + physical/ respiratory discomfort over the coure of (1) night. I am a swimmer, with strong lung capacity & don't get sick. I felt a mild tickle in my throat the evening I checked in... which became a full cough throughout the night & following morning. I would not have woken up coughing with just mild fatigue. Also, the staff/hotel will not watch any* bag, no matter how big or small, for those looking to be in the neighborhood after check out. Other note: v old A/C that within seconds of turning on, proceeds to make loud, noisy rattling sound for v long periods-- would be upsetting to anyone. I ent here to explore possible repeat visits-- no, this is just a place to sleep/shower 1x.

Due to the blizzard, I was unexpectedly stranded in New York and had to extend my stay for four days with my young son. During what was already a stressful situation, I expected at minimum a clean, safe, and restful environment. That was not the case. From the moment I arrived, the overall cleanliness of the property was unacceptable. The floors, walls, and bathtub in my room were visibly dirty. The hallways and elevator were also unclean, which made the entire environment feel neglected and poorly maintained. I requested additional towels during my stay and never received them. The staff was unresponsive and did not follow through, which added to the frustration. There was a strong marijuana odor throughout the hotel during our entire stay. In addition, there were loud arguments taking place in the hallways between 2:00–3:00 a.m. multiple nights, making it difficult to feel safe or get proper rest — especially while traveling with my child. To make matters worse, the vending/ice machine was not working. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience during an already difficult travel situation. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone — not even in an emergency.

Front Desk was great, definitely a rough neighborhood - far from the city center, and there are safer options closer to JFK. The room was clean, building is more like an apartment complex than a hotel, but if you just need a place to reset for a few hours it will work. Hourly rates posted means you’ll hear a lot of noises during the night.

The heater control buttons were broken, so I had to unplug it because the room was boiling hot when I got there. Had to open the window to let it cool down. Chair was broken, blanket had a large hole, maybe cigarette burn. There was no iron in the room. Tv remote was broken. There was hair on the bed. There was no phone in the room and no way to contact room service. Overall, I wouldn’t have booked it if it wasn’t for the photos of the hotel. Don’t photoshop them. Show the actual hotel pics

To start the room was in ok condition. The room was clean but not to my standards. The floor was not visibly dirty, but I could tell from the bottom of my slippers. They had a white bottom and were brand new. The sheets had cigarette burn holes. The insulated curtains had seen better days. I decided to take a bath, the the water kept running out. But the water was very HOT!! Other than that, front desk staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Didn't have anyone come clean the room during my visit. Just asked the front desk for more towels etc. Booked through third party so was able to get a discount from full price. Definitely not worth what was charged per night.

The room was not satisfactory at all. THIS ROOM HAS BED BUGS. The staff was not helpful. The bed was not made properly (the sheets were tucked in fully) there were holes in the sheets and curtains… I was so uncomfortable the whole time we didnt even sleep in the sheets we had to sleep on the top with our jackets on and still got bed bug bites. I’m traumatized and so upset this ruined my whole trip to nyc.

No microwave had to keep going downstairs for microwave. There was only one ice machine and that was downstairs where near the microwave and when you enter the building, you had to go down some stairs check in and then they tell you that you have to go through the door to get to the elevator and then go up and then come down. You have to hit L and you come out and you’re facing the door as you come in.
- 1/5
This must be the worst hotel I have had in New York, weed smells everywhere, the elevator takes forever to arrive and no room service, smaller rooms, no breakfast, Mint you can do better

Only booked this at the very last minute since we were stuck at JFK and needed somewhere to actually rest that wasn’t going to break the bank. Well, you certainly get what you pay for although I feel this should be way less than $100/night. We got there later in the night and the area did not seem very “walkable”. Lots of random people just hanging around the hotel. Receptionist was very nice and friendly, but the clear guard to the front desk lets you know what kind of area you’re in lol. The hotel and even the room itself smells like smoke/marijuana. The bed is hard as a rock & the washroom wasn’t something I really felt like using. Apparently the subway was right there, but we didn’t need to use that. We were starving and needed food, but again, didn’t feel comfortable walking around so we just ordered through Uber. Overall, I would never stay here again but if you really want something “cheap”, then go for it.

Location is at the end of the train line below the station....Literally a big turnoff with personal safety concerns as I arrived in the late PM. No parking was there, I was at the mercy of the street parking. The immediate neighborhood was buzzing with the activties of homeless individuals, Police, paramedics and Fire department, just like a home coming event. I am OK.
- 1/5
I did not even stay. Two circles around the block and my daughter and I didn't feel safe enough to even get out of the car
- 3/5
The rooms were not as sanitary and it was very noisy
- 1/5
I was not able to stay because the hotel false advertised about the parking. They have public street parking, on a one-way street in Queens, that is also a residential block. After calling 4 times, someone finally answered, and when I asked where to park, the woman laughed and said "the street," that's what we mean by free parking. When i told her it was misleading, she stated, "we know, but that's our free parking." Looking for parking, on a downtown Queens' street on a Sunday night....I never found a spot!

I did not check into the property as i had a death in my family and had to leave town. They still charged me for the entire stay when i never checked in. No compassion or anything. Not even an offer to comp a different stay. I dont recommend anyone books this property as no one can tell the future as to an emergency

The entire area is unsafe and no parking. Had to park at a parking garage a block over and walk in very unsafe neighborhood. Room c11 was acceptable and clean. Towels in bathroom were too small. Never again.
- 1/5
Street parking, facility in ill repair.
- 3/5
no good transportation connections.
- 3/5
Pretty good overall. Almost got a 4 bc of the very clean and tidy room, plenty of towels and bath products, details simple but well-managed. It was barebones but more than adequate. Just really loud.. no soundproofing on my door.

I had a layover for my flight. The room was nice and clean staff ok I arrived late so it wasn’t really no interaction, the air conditioning worked great. Plenty of stores in the area. The hotel was right in the neighborhood. Traveling was good because the train was right there. However, there wasn’t any hotel parking only street parking. We have another reservation for this same hotel for our returning flight.

Dirty and uncomfortable place

The air conditioning was not working in my room. The staff did come right away to check it. But whatever damage was done , could not be fixed

Could have more pillows and comforter. It was a bit dark No room service phone Expensive when considered. No hairdryer No house keeping Staff not approachable and receptive

This hotel sucks! Staff doesn’t know what is going on. Was told that there was a parking lot and there was no parking lot and it was hard to find parking around the area. Was also told that we would be able to check in early with it being $25 per hour before check in time and when we arrived at the front desk they said that it wasn’t true and the rooms “weren’t clean yet”. Was also standing at the front desk waiting to be helped for several minutes until we were finally acknowledged due to the employee being so caught up in their phone. Rooms were dirty and reeked of a cigarette smell. There was even a burn on the bedding. No ironing board, TV channels didn’t work. Lamp was filthy and covered in dust. For them to be “cleaning” for so long it looked awful! Pillows were flat and was only given 3 pillows despite there being 2 people. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone!
- 3/5
The room was clean air condition was good
- 1/5
Very unsafe area; staff was rude and not at all customer friendly; not responsive to guest concerns or needs (I was actually told by a staff member that they hadn't addressed my request made almost two hours earlier because "they were busy"; one ice machine in the entire hotel (in the main lobby); one microwave in the entire hotel (in the main lobby). I could go on but, I think you get the point.

Good

I didn't even stay there. There is literally zero parking. There are dope heads all over a courtyard right next door. I just accepted the loss of money.
- 1/5
When I enter the room it was not cleaned, the used towel was on the bed, some one left the food and the can of soda in the table to feel uncomfortable.
- 1/5
Room floor was moist hallway smelled like piss foul odor not acceptable homeless people around hotel weren't comfortable felt like bedbugs were present.
- 5/5
Clen room, affordable price, accessible to grocery stores and train station.
- 5/5
A nice place to rest your head.

Everything

It was very efficient.
- 3/5
My stay was fine. I only stayed one night so I didn't expect much. I was disappointed that there was only one hanger in the closet, no iron or ironing board, the toilet paper holder was broken but the Wi-Fi was strong. The AC was great as well as the lighting and the cable channels were decent. The main highlight is the train station across the street and the corner store adjacent to the train station.
- 5/5
Nice area!!!
- 1/5
People smoke inside the hotel it smells horrible they don't clean the room it is really Guetto.
- 1/5
Place smells so bad I couldn’t sleep. And when it was time to go out they didn’t have an iron… I went down to the lobby for one but they had none so I had to go out looking crazy. Let’s not talk about parking . I would NEVER go back to this hotel.
- 1/5
The property staff need to understand that they are dealing with human but not animals.
- 4/5
A simple no-frills place right off the A train (on the last stop as a matter of fact). Utilitarian, tidy room, nice and helpful staff, easy check in and check out. Came during a very busy holiday weekend and got a good rate so happy with the stay as a whole!
- 1/5
Be aware this place is not clean and towels are dirty and the room smells disgusting the location is not good and the bathroom are dirty !

It was okay for the price but personally i wouldnt advise a female travelling solo to stay here alone

The room seemed clean what I didnt like was that the bed squeeked and more so that the HVAC unit did not work properly. DO NOT ACCEPT 119 UNLESS YOU KNOW THE HVAC UNIT OS WORKING.

I wish I could have my money back. I spent nearly $200 ! On taxis round trip from JFK airport. The bed was so uncomfortable the massage I need after that mattress will cost more than the room. The lights didn’t work. Also in a bad part of town. People yelling on the streets all morning and high people around the halls of the hotel. The sheets looked clean. The towels looked unusable. I used my beach towel from my suitcase.

It was hope

The service was OK. The hotel room had no cell phone for the front desk. One rag AC was broken floors were dirty made my foot black no parking lot a lot of noise outside and in the building. elevator was so slow.
- 1/5
As sound as I walked in I saw a bug in the bathroom and night stand. The roomed smelled like cigarettes and the floor was dirty.
- 2/5
There was no drinking water available and the quality of the air in the room was awful to breathe.
- 5/5
I loved staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel and my room were clean.
- 2/5
Just stayed for a night as a stop over and had a connection the next day. But the stay was really bad.. gave me a non smoking with a strong odor in the room. Bedsheets were smelly as well as basic amenities were missing.
- 5/5
It's just a cool place to stay.
- 4/5
Good

In addition, there was no secure parking provided. For anyone traveling with a valuable vehicle, this is a serious concern, as the surrounding area did not feel safe for leaving a car on the street. Because of these issues, I did not feel comfortable staying and had to leave immediately. For health, safety, and peace of mind, I would strongly recommend choosing another property.
- 3/5
The have a bad vending machine and the allows people to put money into it and the are claiming the money without the product. Poor service no concern about customers.

My flight was late and therefore I landed at 2:38am. The joke was an hour and 20 minutes away from the airport. Landed in Newark and the hotel was in NY. I called prior to going there and nobody answered the phones. When I gotten there around 5:05am, the receptionist told me that the phones didn’t work and he has been busy all evening answering the phone and many of their guest has been late also. He booked me into the room. The room appears to look clean upon entering. The sheets smelt like old sweat and the floor was slippery and oily. I used the bathroom and when I flush it, the toilet water came up form the base of the toilet and wet the enter bathroom floor by the tub area and toilet. The focet at the sink spills water on the counter when turned on. I took a video and showed it to the minty receptionist. I was not able to sleep. I check the end for bedbug and wasn’t able to shower. She told me that they were sold out of all the rooms and when I showed up they had given me the basement. There were also no phones in the room to contact anyone for emergencies. I was told that the manger will contact me and no one did. I took one photo and many videos.

One of the worse place to ever stay at the beds are smaller than they advertise. The smell and is horrible and the whole place is very dirty. DONT STAY HERE
- 5/5
Not bad could be better
- 1/5
The rooms were extremely dirty, and almost everything was broken. There was no on-site parking — I had to park about 10 blocks away in an unsafe area. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
- 5/5
I like the location right by the subway. I also like the Delis and a Dunkin Donuts close by. My room was clean. Had a decent sleep except for a guy yelling in the hallway at midnight. Aside from that it was comfortable and the staff was very courteous and helpful.
- 1/5
Don’t stay here. It’s horrible and not clean at all.
- 1/5
The truth is I did not like the stay there in that hotel, because mainly the elevator to the main floor did not work, one had to go around to get the elevator in the Basement. The other thing I did not like was the dirty lamp, the smell of the room, Ugly, the room, the sheets were very itchy as if they were not washed, I was sleeping very badly at night, since the sheets gave me an allergy, the truth is, I do not recommend it.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
They had to change the room , wall was dirty, picture frame broken and lamp shade was cracked
- 3/5
It was a 25 min train ride from the airport with a transfer that costs around $7 pp, then walk a few feet to the train station. The area was a little scary. We had lunch near the hotel and left because it appeared a fight was about to break out. The hotel is fine for a night if on a long layover but smelled of smoke and just old in general. The bed wasn't very comfortable, but not horrible. Overall, pricey for the night.
- 3/5
The staff is great, but the property on the whole is below average. Things seemed dirty. Our comforter had cigarette burns in them. The bath towels had holes in them. It was barely adequate. We had 4 people in our group, and they gave us one king bed.
- 4/5
You get what you pay for. It does the job. It was clean. AC was a bit too cold
- 4/5
Great but wild neighborhood
- 2/5
The location of this property is not in a safe location. Many un-housed and what appear to be drunk or chemical substances abuser in the area. Not safe to walk this neighborhood. I asked about ice machine. I was told the machine was not working. All my parisables were destroyed. When I left the hotel early that morning, police cars and cruisers outside. In that aspect, I guess I was safe.

Very bad it was a nightmare

Service was ok

The hotel is not in the greatest neighborhood, the smells is not good when in the lobby area. The receptionist stood behind a thick glass window so I could barely hear her speak.. there was also a man standing there with here, assuming it is for safety concerns. They gave us the key to the room and asked for a $10 hold on the TV remote control and will be returned when checked out. The hall way smelled bad and our room had a pungent smell.. a combination of pee and cleaning products.. assuming that is why the window was left opened. We lasted 5 minutes in the room before decided to cut the loss and found another hotel for our safety and health reasons. I had migraines due to the smell through the next morning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
- 5/5
They need to improve on parking for the area apart from that its a great place to stay. Right by the train station
- 1/5
The room was dirty (the entire bathroom, furniture, walls and floor in the room). Someone was screaming for help so I wanted to call the desk to find out what was going on. However, there was no phone in the room so I had to use my cellphone to call the desk. When I told the agent at the desk there was no phone in my room the reply caught me off guard “ so, what do you want?” At that point I realized if there is a real emergency I will have to rely on dialing 911 from my phone. This is an unsafe and dirty

Hotel was good

If you can handle staying in the hood. Then your fine.
- 4/5
Hotel is in a very undesirable location, however the staff was very friendly and helpful. For what they had, the room was clean and tidy while the floors did seem greasy from whatever cleaner they used to clean with. AC was ice cold. Bed was comfy, and room was nice and quiet. It fullfilled our needs while waiting for a new flight after a canceled one. Way to go, staff. We almost canceled our reservation and went somewhere else when we saw the surrounding area. Glad we stayed the night.
- 2/5
Smelly and dirty. Cigarettes holes. People fighting in the hallway and hanging out everywhere. Blood stains on sheets. The people who work there seem mad at the world.
- 4/5
Its in the heart of Far Rockaway, one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in NYC. There is a heavy police presence, and the subway stop is across the street. Its convenient and cheap if visiting, but its kind of a crazy neighborhood. No street parking. Guests who did not heed parking signs woke up with parking tickets.
- 4/5
It's best to visit hard to park
- 1/5
Don’t rent this place
- 1/5
I basically tried to change the date of my reservation because I made a mistake and no one would help me....... Now the room I paid for wasn't utilized and I was still charged for it...........
- 3/5
What you would expect for 130 a night in NYC. Check in was quick, requires 10$ cash deposit that you get back at check out once you return the TV remote. The hallway does smell of cigarettes if you are sentive to smells. The deluxe room has two full size beds and a fridge. There are microwaves available in the lobby. Ice maçhine did not work. Beds are moderately soft and you get one sheet for the bed. Pillows are thin. Shower has very hot water. You get two towels and two wash clothes for the one day stay. At check out I had to wait about 15 minutes because no one was at the desk and there is no bell to ring.

This hotel suppose to be a motel
- 5/5
Convenient for a nights stay.. beds and linens were veery clean . The lamps needs a little more dusting though and walls are very thin you can hear when everyone walks down the hall and talking. Front desk was nice also.
- 3/5
Everything is ok

The bed sheets were clean, however i woke up with insect bites all over my arm identical to bed bugs bites. I never had bed bug bite, but it is consistent with online images.

The worst hotel I ever stayed
- 5/5
Very close to transportation. Quiet area. Lowkey vibes

It was horrible, not as advertised or expected. Floors were oily and slippery, everything was dirty and smelled like mold. I wish I did not stay here, my wife cried from the filth.
