The hotel is praised for its central location and comfortable rooms, but noise from the rooftop bar and club is a significant issue for many guests. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful.

As long as you’re not by the club you’re fine. The bathrooms do have mildew but they’re updated. Pool was closed which was the main reason we picked the hotel (week after Memorial Day). Staff was friendly. They do have free Citi bike passes and minibar credits. This is one of the cheaper places to stay in NYC. It’s priced correctly, spend more if you want perfection.

We paid to include breakfast, hotel said we would have to talk to hotels.com to get a dispute because all they were giving us was a meal voucher for breakfast. Meaning I ended up paying even more for breakfast. At 11am I was told they had no food left and they were about to close (we were told breakfast was from 7a-12p). The food left was miserable, I could have gotten something better at Starbucks and spent less money. Do not stay at this place.

Property was very nice and the location was amazing. Wish the pool would have been open. That was very disappointing considering we booked months in advance and were told the pool would be open at least 2 weeks before we arrived.

This hotel went above and beyond and impressing me from the free amenities that included coffee in the room and quickly getting a rollaway bed when I had an extra guest to the incredible location, easy parking next-door and cleanliness. This has quickly become a favorite for stays in New York City.. the hotel staff was responsive and available all day and all night. There’s a great rooftop café for breakfast and a very exciting nightclub.

I booked my prepaid nonrefundable June couples vacation here mainly for the pool and the location. Unfortunately the pool wasn’t open in June and given the outrageously high daily “resort fee” I felt very much price-gouged (the mini gym/bar/club isn’t important to me only the pool). They justified the cost by offering a minuscule $10 minibar/room service credit which is not useful if you don’t consume junk food or booze which is not for me. The room was obviously beneath the bar and the noise pollution was intense. We also had to deal with a fire alarm going off loudly several times for a non-life threatening situation (annoying but better than no alarms). The room was short several types of towels which I didn’t discover until I was wet from showering (delivery of new towels was prompt). My other main complaint is a $450 deposit was made at check in which is normal and I checked out a night early knowing it was a nonrefundable prepaid reservation. The day after I left my credit card was charged a second time for another $450 ($900/total) despite no deficiency on the original deposit. This requires further investigation and resolution on my part so the time-suck is not welcome. The staff was always professional. The space is clean enough (elevators needed glass cleaning). The location is perfect. I feel like the cost of this stay wasn’t worth it for me. Your mileage may vary.

We loved the cleanness of the room as well as our room was large. The shower was wonderful . When we left our room we always came back to a freshly cleaned room. We loved the checkout time. We didn't use the breakfast or room service but when we come back It Is nice to know this Is a option as well as the clubs we didn't use but nice to have them. We will be booking our next vacation at your hotel.

The first day we were given a great room because ours for some reason was not ready, and while it had a great view, there was no running water in the sink and we were given a twin bed but we were 4, not 3. One of us managed to sleep in a sofa, but since some blinds would not go down and the sofa was not really comfortable, we barely slept. Some curtains were ripped off and mostly all are dirty. The next day we were given our regular room and while our linens were clean, the floor was very dirty and they left all the litter in the bathroom trash can. I asked them to please clean it the next day, but they didn’t. Wood floor in this room is severely scratched and poorly maintained. The last day they didn’t broom or mopped the floor except for the bathroom. It is in a great and fun location though. We don’t mind the noise from the bars outside. As someone that manages properties, a clean room, and employees with attention to detail makes the difference. Please train management and housekeepers on industry standards. The hotel is in a great location and it’s a great facility, but you need to do this right.

Really nice location and staff. Clean facilities The hotel wasn't very transparent about the fact that its gym wasn't equipped nor its pool open. This is misleading as it advertises those two things as selling points. It is also extremely loud at night because its rooftop bar is open till late.

They had Bigalow products, which I love, but my lotion was empty, so that was a bummer. TV did not have access to my subscriptions, which most do now, and I was planning to watch the last episode of a favorite series, which was not possible. Location great, not a warm feeling from the staff, cleaners did a fine job.

Great location, friendly staff. Rooms are small and simple but fine. Shower was great (very strong). The club situation is louder than expected. Even several floors down (we were on 7th, club is on 14th), you could still hear the base on Friday night (was not so bad on Thursday for some reason). Still, it wasn’t too bad and with the AC I didn’t notice it too much but I suspect it’s terrible higher up. The food situation left a lot to be desired. You get a 10$ daily credit that can ONLY be used for room service. The breakfast that folks pay extra for (and get vouchers) is pretty basic (overpriced pastries, yogurt and granola, coffee/teas). Despite the fact we were there end of May, the pool was not open. It seems it opens June 1 and I don’t recall reading that anywhere (also seasonal for me is always at least after Memorial Day). Not sure if it’s b/c it was under construction or if this is always the case but would have been nice to know that when we booked b/c the pool was one of the reasons to pick this place. Still, the rooftop is nice with terrific views. It was an okay stay but would not stay there again. Plenty of others hotels in the area of comparable price that seemed a lot nicer.

Daily fees are such a money grab. They never restocked our mini fridge so we had about 3 things to choose from for the $10 stipend. Nothing available for the cost of the in room dining credit and must be used before noon. So worthless. Nice big room, comfortable bed, great location… the dispensers in the bathrooms needed restocking. If you have an issue with noise there is a night club on the top floor that is open until 4am on weekends. The front desk staff was awesome about letting us know and putting us on a lower floor but if we were on an upper floor noise would definitely have been an issue.

Hotel Indigo is in a great location in the lower east side. Youve got great eats, bars, and thift/shops on all the blocks surrounding the place. Mr.Purple is a cool rooftop bar they have, but they only play electronic music - didnt care for their elevator attendants during the bars peak hours as they were a little rude, but what can you do.

    - You'd like a spacious room - we are a family of four with two kids and we had enough space to comfortably move around the room. NYC hotels are notoriously small but the rooms here are adequate. - You want to stay off the mid-town beaten path; Hotel Indigo is located near major train stops (F and J), surrounded by food options (try Johnny's Pizza!), and it's 20 min away from the city, but close enough that you can easily walk to and through East and West Villages. - Loud club music doesn't phase you or you're a deep sleeper and sleep like a rock. Don't stay here if you want sleep at the end of long days. The hotel has a bar called Mr. Purple on the 15th floor. On Fridays and Saturdays, the sound and music thumps so loudly that it cascades to each floor. That's all to say if your'e stay includes either or both of these days, request a room furthest away from the elevator. This helps a lot. As will ear plugs - bring them! The hotel does not provide any. However, also request a room that doesn't face the streets as the street sounds will keep you up. I recognize this sounds picky, but believe me when I say that noise until 4am feels brutal when you just want to sleep. But hey this is NYC and city sounds are expected. Overall, the stay was fine given we were away until late night. If sleepless nights don't affect you, Hotel Indigo is a good hotel option.

We were put on the 12th floor, immediately under the club on the 14th floor, and at midnight, the bass was blasting so much the entire room was vibrating and the music was extremely loud. The entire floor evacuated to other floors, and the staff told us this happened every weekend. This shouldn't be a thing: they should block the adjacent floors, who's paying 400$/night to be woken up at 00:10?

I was reassigned a lower level room due to party happening on 15th floor during check in. Come to find out, it's one of those handicap accessible rooms. There was simply a shower curtain and now barrier to keep the water from flooding the floors. The "seat" had mold on it as seen when folded up. The "resort" fee was useless. It came with a $20 credit for mini bar but there was nothing useful for me as I don't drink. And, the cheap $10 dine in voucher did not allow for anything because there is a fee attached so nothing was actually "free".... Night 2, there was a large party outside the hotel that lasted past 2am. Tried calling front desk but no one bothered to answer or call back when trying to switch rooms. Checking out, didn't get his name, but tall young black kid, was rude as heck. I said I was checking out and he was rude in telling me I had to drop it in a drop box that was blocked by another gentleman also trying to wait on assistance from another woman at front desk. The woman was kindly helping him but simply kept saying "over there" more rudely each time til I finally saw the drop off key box. Then, I said, I was picking up 2 printouts that hotel agent had sent me email saying would be held for me at morning. He tried to say he couldn't see it when I said, "Ooh, I see it. It's right under there" and he was so rude in staring and then trying to refuse to give it to me. He just kept holding it above me but not handing it over. Completely rude and unprofessional.

Great location! Amazing price point for the location and staff were attentive and friendly. I wanted to like it but the room was in really poor shape - details matter. And these are honestly things that could be easily fixed. There was thick dust on curtain rods and light sconces. The only bedside electricity outlet didn’t work at all. There was mold in the shower and silverfish in the bathroom. I had a huge foundation stain on the wall next to the closet. Definitely raises some questions about their level of cleanliness and how attentive they actually are when cleaning rooms. It was also very loud on weekend only but that’s to expected due to the rooftop club.

The music from the club is SO loud - I was 6 floors below the club and I literally could hear it at all hours of the night. The club also meant that there were lots of clubgoers going up and down the lifts in the evenings. There should be a dedicated hotel guest lift. Would not stay here again.

The fan was terribly noisy all night long, and I couldn't sleep. This was despite the fact that we had turned off the air conditioning completely—yet the noise didn't subside at all. In the morning, there was another disappointment: they offer breakfast, but it just a bar consists of nothing more than coffee and a sandwich or a croissant—and that's it! I needed to stay one night in a very specific neighborhood for a family gathering, and at the last minute also needed a place to park my car (my train was canceled on the morning of departure). Hotel Indigo has a next-door parking garage which was so easy to book and use during my stay. I was able to easily walk to restaurants and even Whole Foods, plus the nearby subway station from the hotel's location. And my room was clean, cozy and comfortable! Staff was excellent, too! As always, a hotel room in New York City is very, very expensive. Hotel Indigo was priced appropriately given its comfort, quality and location, but hotel prices in general in the City are just outrageous.

However: the service. I’m a longtime New Yorker, and I know from brusque attitude not being necessarily rude. This ain’t it. Multiple front desk peeps get legit mad at me for asking questions. Most don’t look you in the eye. Bro barked “ID!” when I started spelling my name for the reservation—before I finished speaking. Clearly they’re swamped—big hotel—and maybe understaffed? I can’t stay mad at people in a service role. It’s a lot to deal with. But. I stay here almost every time I come to New York, and I’m gonna keep doing it, because, like I say, tremendous value, best neighborhood. Just wish they’d take a lesson from their neighbors, say, across the street, or down a couple blocks—way less worthwhile hotels, but they’re nice to you.

Five stars for our housekeeper “Winnie” who was very professional and hospitable. She kept our room very clean and fresh. I also give five stars for the room size and bathroom size. I’ve stayed in a lot of NYC hotels and this was a great room size for the price. Four stars for location with easy subway access. However, Friday and Saturday nights the yelling and honking outside kept us awake from 1-4am. If you’ll be out there with them, then this won’t bother you but we are late forties with a child. The room was on the 6th floor facing Orchard St. It was quiet on the weeknights and we didn’t hear the nightclub during our stay. Two stars for the property condition. Despite it being clean and large, we were surprised by how beat up our room was. Holes and stains on the walls, scratches on the wood floor, and paint chipped off the lacquer chair arms. The carpet in the hallways was dingy and the elevators were dark and stinky. Another con was the daily amenity fee which you can use for the minibar or room service but it isn’t actually enough to cover anything so it’s just a ruse to get you to spend more money. It feels scammy. I asked for an empty fridge since we’d be there a few days. We never opened the mini bar yet they still tried to charge us for tequila and mixed nuts on our final bill. I likely wouldn’t stay again based solely on this. We usually stay in the 20s and would likely return to that area in the future.

There is a nightclub on the 14th floor, we stayed on the 9th floor and the music and bass was so loud we couldn't sleep at all. It was shaking the walls until 4am. Not nearly enough sound proofing in the room.

If you are coming here over a weekend, I probably would not risk it because of the nightclub on the 15th floor. We stayed Friday and Saturday night and thought it would be ok because we were on the 4th floor. We could still hear the bass very clearly all night on Friday; luckily for us, keeping the fan on all night drowned it out but I can’t imagine being closer than the 4th floor. The weather was colder on Saturday night so maybe the club was not as busy because we could not hear anything (even without fan turned on). Unclear why they would blast music to such levels as Friday when this is primarily a hotel. They really need to invest in soundproofing (we could hear people in the hallways/elevators too). Otherwise the hotel itself is fine; the rooms are big and while things were a bit tired, it still was comfortable, clean, and the bed was nice. The location is great

Unless you’re staying up until 4 a.m., don’t stay here as there is NIGHT CLUB on property in the middle of the hotel sending BPM throughout the property. I paid for a tower room to avoid street noice, asked for a quiet room and was given no care by the staff. In fact, was treated quite rudely the last night when promised ‘no club’ on Sunday night. There is still a club.

  • Thomas Mar 2026 · via expedia

Great location, large comfortable rooms although a bit worn, some mould in bathroom. However the noise from the nightclub on the 15th floor was pretty extreme. Just travelled down the lift shaft. We could even feel the bass while lying in bed. My son and I are good sleepers so we used thick earplugs and were fine. I had read about this issue and requested a quiet room in advance but we were still put next to the lifts. Rooms in the other wing are probably not affected. Either lose the nightclub or categorise and price rooms based on noise impacts. Anything else is unfair to guests.

This hotel was frustrating for several reasons. First, I paid for a high level floor was but positioned in the bottom half of the hotel. The food at the restaurant was just over priced heated up snacks (turkey breakfast sandwich was incredibly dry and lifeless). The worst of all.. "The Club", this hotel has an legtimate full blown nightclub on the 14th floor... it is INCREDIBLY LOUD... i was on the 12th floor and could hear the pounding of the club all night and literally felt the subwoofer vibrating my bedframe. The sound goes through the air vents and can be heard in the hallways. Talking with other tenants, the club could be heard and felt several floors above and below. Completely unacceptable and I would not recommend staying here unless you want to stay at a nightclub that happens to have hotel rooms...

The hotel itself is great. The room is spacious. The beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly. There is rooftop restaurant called the Purple Room with a magnificent view. The only problem I had was not with the hotel but its location. The hotel is situated near a lot of bars, eateries and two of the nights I was there at 3-4 in the morning there was a lot of loud noise coming from obnoxious people in the street. I had to call the manager and ask him to call the police twice. Just beware.

Buyer beware. Upon arrival we were notified of a $40+ "resort fee" I guess for pool access, because that appeared to be the only amenity. Of course, it's the dead of winter, was zero degrees F and the pool is outside. Oh it also entitled you to a $10 credit to the mini bar which held a desirable water bottle, BUT, the credit was only valid until midnight, so too bad. Instead I went to use the paper coffee cup to have some nightst water from the tap. Except there was only ONE cup for my wife and I to share. I let her have the water overnight. And rather than reuse the SINGLE cup provided to SHARE a cup of coffee in the morning, we simply left what was a disappointment because "resort" hospitality was the last sentiment we felt at this property. In fairness the room was clean otherwise.

Very nice neighborhood.. especially for a musician . The hotel was nice but you could tell some of the decor was either deteriorating or needed to be updated. The televisions DEFINITELY need to be updated to smart tvs.. everyone uses YouTube, netflix etc.. broadcasts channels are a relic. Overall nice stay and the staff was nice, amenities were a bit expensive though.

Street level noise from a 4th floor room is bad. It sounds like the windows are not wide open. I checked a few times to ensure windows were closed properly, but the late night crowd eating at 17th St Burger can be heard clearly until 1-2am. Airpods help but you can still hear them. The room is otherwise fine for a NY hotel. Ok sized shower and bathroom. Desk and the wifi are fine for business work. Elevators are decently fast and not super crowded.

Mini fridge didn’t work and even though the “resort fee” included $10 per day from the mini fridge, they had 1 can of Diet Coke, behind 1 can of regular coke but there was no way of getting that out without removing the coke can, which would trigger an automatic charge. Also, the hotel has a VERY active nightclub on the roof and lots of people going up and down the elevators to the club in the evening when we stayed there. Pretty inconvenient, trying to get an elevator to our room, having to fight for space with club goers

Staff very nice, room clean. However there is a club on the top floor of the hotel that goes late into the evening and you can hear the thumping music on every floor as there is a vent that runs the length of the building - you cannot believe how loud it is in the hallway. Once in our room it was a little more muffled, but you can still hear it. I will never stay here again, it's truly shocking that they run that club and think that people can rest at night. They offered to let us change rooms - but also said they could not guarantee other rooms would be more quiet. We typically stay across the street at Ludlow, but thought we would try Indigo since it was a bit less expensive. Lesson learned, we will go back to the Ludlow.

The noise level in the hotel at night is beyond acceptable. The Mr Purple club destroys any sense of peace and quiet and sleep. I did not know about this and the way the noise infiltrated the hotel. I was on level 12 and couldn’t even hear the TV. They moved me to the 8th floor and the noise still penetrated the walls. This place is more of a night club than a hotel. I paid for a high floor and was told there would be loud music coming from the 15th floor til 4am. My room was on the 16th floor, so the staff offered me a room on the 8th floor. Unfortunately, the music could be heard from this floor (7 floors down). I literally got 3 hours of sleep. The only compensation offered was one night ($42) amenities fee waived. I was then moved to a higher floor(22) for the next two nights. There was no DJ/night club on Sunday night, however, a private party with music that lasted till midnight which could also be heard on the 22nd floor. Thursday-Saturday night this place is a full on night club till 4am. The other nights are hit or miss when it comes to noise. This should not be an IHG Hotel.

Bathroom was definitely the best part of the room and was perfectly clean and comfortable. The views were fantastic and even though we were above the pool/rooftop club, we were high enough for the noise to not be too much of an issue. Checked me in early which was really nice of them and upgraded my room for my birthday but had to switch rooms from how dirty the first one was you could tell it was not cleaned properly prior and TV remote was missing. Usually don't like to call and complain but had to get my second room cleaned too when I walked in and it was fine after that. Credit for mini fridge but it wasn't turned on. Room service credit was useless because a $4 orange juice turned into $16 WAY too overpriced when CVS is right around the corner. Grabbed water from fridge so I don't lose the credit. Nice rooftop later at night they were nice to not make us wait to get up since we were staying at the hotel. Very nice security/bouncers lady at front desk was nice too.

The room was clean and decent. I was under the impression I booked a queen bed, but it looked like a full, no big deal. I would recommend putting a long mirror in the room for people that are sharing the room, and so we can look at our outfits, do our makeup, etc. I noticed the towels were placed under the sink which looked rusty in some areas. I suggest putting the towels on a tray or installing a towel rack. The staff was nice and helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay here and would not mind returning. The hotel is nice and clean but it is so noisy! I have been travelling to Manhattan multiple times/year for 30+ years. I don't mind the noise of the city - actually it makes me feel at home - but this hotel is ridiculously noisy. People seem to be partying on the adjacent street all night and the soundproofing in the hotel or windows is poor. I will not stay here again.

No doubt this was a 4.5/5-star boutique when it opened. Now I’d say 3-3.5. I chose this hotel because I was going to the US Open (tennis) in Flushing Meadows and a couple of Broadway shows. Maps said it was about a 16 min cab ride either way. Here’s why: Public spaces The hallway artwork on every floor has been defaced and graffitied, like the back of a bathroom stall door. Immediately devalues what you paid for. The hotel & Purple, the night club The hotel clientele is predominately late thirties to fifties; some parents with late teens. Purple caters to the 20 something crowd. The music is so loud, it booms throughout the hotel. That continues to about 1:30/2 am. Then the volume is reduced slightly to a duller boom, boom, boom. Ownership has created a situation where there’s dissonance between the hotel’s guests and the 20 something year-old club attendees that will continue to impact reviews. Location You’re right around the corner from Katz deli and Russell & Daughters--😋. The 20 somethings are very active in the area after 11pm, at least thurs-sat. Staff Were extremely kind and welcoming. Concierge had no visual indication he was a concierge. I told him I didn’t know the NYC subway system. While enthusiastic and kind, he didn’t help me feel confident that I could navigate by subway. The rooms LOVE the heated bathroom tile floors. Recommend they retreat the wood floors. Once a month, nail those shower vertical corner lines for mold.

Pack your earbuds. I've stayed in NYC a lot and have never had a hotel as loud as this one. Between the nightclub on the 15th floor and the street noise below we got very little sleep. We started playing white noise on our phone to get some shut eye. Hotel charges a $36 resort fee upon arrival that I was not aware of. The hotel needs a little refresh too. Rooms were basic with dents and scratches on furniture. Carpet in hallways need to be cleaned. Stayed here for location, will not return. Too loud

The staff here were fabulously accommodating. I’m very grateful for their top notch professional service. The hotel was perfectly situated and the amenities were great. My only gripe is the club on the 15th floor. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and couldn’t sleep for shi*. Staff even upgraded us to a better room on a higher floor but it was no match for the bass line and screams of happy patrons. If you need a good nights sleep on a holiday weekend this isn’t your best bet but there is nothing else bad to say about this fabulous property in my favorite neighborhood.

The breakfast was not great. Didn’t have sandwiches or Orange juice first day. Second was okay but slow service. Third day slower service and little variety of sandwiches or pantries. Also hard to get to 14th floor. Card would not let me get there on elevator. Had another customer wanting to get on elevator from 14th floor to get us there. Goodies were not restocked from use in room.

The hotel itself needs work, be sure to book premium rooms; otherwise you're transported back to NYC circa 1990. Hotel staff is hit and miss. There's New York shtick and then there's just plain rude front desk people that just hate their jobs and use the New York shtick as a way to justify their bad behavior. The supervisor was great, but should do better to keep their staff in line. The hotel pool is a nice surprise, they have plenty of seating. Bar staff though..... meh, although the staff that comes around to take your orders were really nice and attentive. All in all, I would come back, I'll just know what to expect next time.

I should have read the reviews because all of them concerning the noise from the club were correct. My room was 8 floors below the club and even with my sound machine on full blast, the thumping bass noise was so loud and didn't stop until 3:30 am. If the hotel didn't have the club it would be lovely; the rooms are large and clean and comfortable.

A little disappointed unless you are into the party scene. Room was spacious and clean. However, the location was terrible. Lot's of drinking places, people were extremely noisy outside, and even in the hotel. This continued till the early morning hours. The party outside seemed to move inside, especially on my floor. The cleaning staff was excellent, but the front desk was not that friendly and outgoing. Although the price was good, it wasn't worth it in the long run.

This is a 1 Star Hotel somehow allowed to be marketed as a 4 Star Hotel. I got overcharged $30+ in snacks and mini bar because my kid kept picking them up from the tray but the stupid system doesn’t recognize you putting them back in. I told the very unfriendly attendant at the front desk and he said they would check and refund my credit card… nope, they charged me AGAIN! On top of that, the place is dirty, the bed sheets have holes in them, just disgusting. Will never return to an Indigo Hotel ever.

It was good enough. I wish the room had a refrigerator than a mini bar. The exercise room was great. The rooftop was really nice. If someone stay there, it about minimum. Do not expect a lot of typical hotel amenities. The best thing is the fact you are in the action of New York neighborhood. It close to NYU fir tours and there are pretty of restaurants and stores nearby. The only advice is I was close to the ground and it was noisy at night. Room service was great and cleaning lady was awesome. Bell hop was great.

I liked the shops and food options in the area although the streets and sidewalks were quite dirty and some areas smelled of urine. I guess that is to be expected of a big city. It didn't keep me from exploring and spending my money! The hotel room was comfy and clean. The pool area was nice with a beautiful view of the city. The bar noise was loud but it was kind of nice. Indigo is so conveniently located off Houston. Walkable or easy subway connections to every part of the city. Restaurants and shopping are everywhere! The rooms are bigger than I'm used to staying in while visiting NYC and the bathroom has an actual door, not one of those hung on a slider. The room doesn't have a microwave or mini fridge but the front desk brought the latter up upon request. The only downside is the noise, both inside and outside the hotel. Expect partying to go well to 4:30 am, and hopefully you aren't staying in a room close to the venting system because the 14th floor club music will reverberate down to any floor you're on. Thankfully we were situated at the end of a long hallway and couldn't hear the music from our room unless we opened our door. Just something to expect and consider when also weighing the ideal location of this hotel. The Purple Restaurant felt more like an after-thought and we only found them to have small snacks, not actual sit down meals. But they do have a stocked bar.

Stayed at the Indigo with my partner and teenage children. The hotel is trendy and the rooms were nice and clean. My unfortunate room was also not ready in time and it wasn’t until the concierge asked how my stay was going that reminded them that I still didn’t have it room in the late afternoon. The only person that really stood out was the doorman that has been there consistently and is very friendly. The pool area also used to be well maintained and is nothing but a cement hole with disgusting, sad pieces of what used to be furniture. I won’t ever return.

I've stayed at plenty of hotels and this is first bad review I have ever written. The important thing to understand about this property is that they operate an extremely loud nightclub on the 15th floor which is open to the partying crowd who you will be sharing the elevator with on the way to your room. My room was three floors away and I could still feel the bed vibrating from the loud music. When I asked (very politely) to change my room, the front desk clerk responded, "it might have been helpful if you had told us this morning" (I couldn't because I had an all day business meeting). Except for the manager, who was quite helpful, most of the staff were unfriendly and seemed bothered if you asked a perfectly normal question. It was such a lousy experience that I have trouble believing that the good reviews are legitimate.

My only recommendation is to stay here on weeknights only (unless your goal is to party all night!) Over the weekend the attached club is extremely rowdy, and the bass rattled the walls and bed (I was on the 12th floor, the club is on the 14th or 15th floor). The front desk staff did warn me as I checked in, so I was prepared with earplugs and still slept okay.
