The location was very convenient. It's in the lovely "flower market" area, and stepping out each morning to the beautiful flowers was really nice! One of the main subway lines has a station about a 5 minute walk. The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. I was able to drop off my luggage well before check-in, and also at the end of my stay until I was done with my business in the city. The breakfast is continental style: pastries, fruit, coffee / tea.

Overall a great place to stay. We had one issue where the AC went out and asked the front desk early in the morning to send an engineer, and had to ask again at 10PM but it was ultimately resolved. Otherwise 5/5 stars.

In the flower district, so beautiful flowers line the sidewalk every morning. The staff was very friendly & able to store our luggage as we arrived early. Very close to multiple subway lines, so easy to get around. There was no safe in our room and our A/C unit rattled. There was also a high pitch noise & we couldn't figure out where it came from.
- 1.5/5
The location is great. Whatever reviews you are reading that lead you to believe that this hotel is a value, it's only a value if it's 55° outside. Because the air conditioning does not work at all. And if you read reviews you'll see that that is not an isolated incident, and it's not one room, it's the entire place except the lobby. So you'll walk in the lobby and think oh this is going to be great, but it's not. Don't trust that. If you want to be hot or freezing cold, stay here. Otherwise find another place that represents itself accurately. This is not a value!

This hotel is a great choice as location, being situated in Midtown Manhattan, easy to access by walking or by metro on the best places of NY. Just 10 minutes from Empire State Building or Times Square, 3 metro stops till Central Park, direct bus to the MET Museum, the Path directly to Jersey City. So, this is a great choice for first timers in NY that want to experience all at once:) The breakfast....is not what it should, especially if you come from Europe will be very dissappointing. Only sweet stuff offered, mainly pastry, even the yogurt was sweetened, nothing salty, this really can be improved for the future.
- 5/5
Location was good, and the price reflected the location. Room was clean, elevators worked great, staff was nice. Breakfast was a bit lackluster, wish there would've been a better assortment of food. Hot food would be really nice.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Hayden , its was a nice hotel good enough for a good night sleep after walking 20k steps a day. The hotel is close to the subway station and Madison square garden it was easy to get around. Will book again in the future

Location and people that work in the hotel. Expensive for What they are offering.
- 0.5/5
Great at taking a $100 security deposit, mysteriously slow at returning it. Multiple follow-up messages and I'm still waiting for money that shouldn't have been kept in the first place. Of course nobody replies to my messages and it's been over a month after my checkout. Room was ok, but the checkout experience feels like a subscription service nobody signed up for. 0/10 I don't recommend staying there.

The location and cleanliness. Also, I loved that the hotel was in a quiet area. I liked the small gym and continental breakfast as well. Showers need two doors or the floor gets wet. The air conditioner could have been a little stronger.
- 1/5
Location Extremely disappointing stay at Hotel Hayden (May 18–21). The air conditioning did not work in either of the rooms we were given, and hot water in the shower was either absent or only slightly warm throughout our stay. We reported the issues immediately, but they were never properly resolved. Breakfast was also far below expectations — very limited selection (only croissants, yogurt, and coffee). Overall, the hotel failed to provide basic essential amenities, which significantly affected our comfort. Would not stay here again.

Booking.com is terrible. You sold me a room that was unavailable. You charged me thousands of dollars, and when I get to the hotel, they don't have my reservation. I was on a work trip and on a tight schedule, so I had to jump through hoops to find another hotel for me and my colleague. It cost us more because it was a last minute booking. The customer service wasn't particularly helpful either. I had a terrible experience with Booking.com, it's an unreliable service. Booking.com is terrible. You sold me a room that was unavailable. The hotel is in a great location to see local attractions and there is a subway stop on the corner. I would stay here again for sure!
- 3/5
Room needed painting, and a lot of updates. If youre planning to barely stay in the room, itll be just fine. However, if you plan on staying in the room, it leaves a lot to be desired (not a very pleasant looking room). One of the notable negatives was the iron having this sticky looking brown residue on it - called the front desk to get a new one, and someone swapped it out within a couple of minutes (thankful for how quick of a response i got), but then when plugging in the new iron, it didnt work- so the clothes i needed to iron where left wrinkled. The morning breakfast is very minimal, but its all you can eat so that was nice. The staff were neutral which was also pleasant- no one was rude. Wouls i stay here again, possibly, but not planning on it.
- 4/5
The location is good, in the flower district right between 28th st stations on the red and yellow lines. Convenient to Times Square, MSG and Theater district. For your average NY hotel room the room is pretty spacious. The bathroom has some counter space which a lot of NY hotels don't. Bathroom was fairly spacious as well. Curtains were blackout which is nice. Has mini fridge but it's on smaller side I'm very picky about beds I would say this one was ok most people would prob say comfortable. Noon check out time vs 11am which is nice The hotel Wifi really was not the best. I was on Third floor and was barely getting service strong enough to play a video. I would have serious concerns about trying to use it for work related things that requires strong connection. The shower is one of those half glass wall no door things so the bathroom floor tends to get wet no matter what you do
- 1/5
Our room’s AC made very loud noise during 2 out of 3 nights. The bathroom will not flush for 2 days and I had to fix it myself. Made several complaints. We had 2 almost sleepless nights and the staff was not helpful at all. Will not recommend this place.

I’m very happy with my start. My room was a little warm as it was hot this time of year. They did send someone up to help fix the AC unit which was much appreciated.

Decent for the price, and only a short walk to Penn Station.
- 1/5
The AC was not working, they did not resolve the issue. There was no manager on property to address the issue, could not contact with manager, they did not resolve our complaint, I did not get my money back for the uncomfortable night or a discount.

I checked into this hotel and the staff was very nice and courteous! I had an issue with the window where it wouldn’t shut and they came up the room within 10 minutes and fixed it and they got the window shut and the maintenance guy was very nice! The room was small but clean. My only issue is when I sat on the bed is folded in half.! and sleeping in the bed at night it was like a big sinking area in the middle as if somebody that weighed an exorbitant amount of weight slept there for five years. I feel like I was sleeping in a hole.! I think that they need to get new mattresses! The bedding in my room at lease was not that good. The bed mattress when you sit in the middle of the bed you sink into the middle.
- 2/5
The breakfast was fine. The room had a leaking sink (fixed quickly), broken air conditioning (not fixed despite repeated criticisms from us) and no security box in the room. The front desk claimed to be fixing these problems but no one ever came to deal with them.
- 3/5
The “breakfast” is simply a few supermarket pastries. And the gym is a very small room in the basement with a couple treadmills and a bike, barely any space.
- 5/5
Very clean. Our only problem was that the bed moved around including coming up off the ground if you sat on the end of it.
- 4/5
Shower was ok, bed was ok not the comfiest
- 4/5
Overall we had a lovely stay and the staff was great. The bed was very firm but also not very stable? And the bedding was very very thin. The temperature of the room was difficult to get right. The shower does not have a door and the toilets did not have a good flush. Location was amazing, very close to the subway and the street it is on is not too busy. You are in the flower district so for most of the day plants are covering the sidewalk but I loved that. The staff was lovely and very helpful. It was really just the room that wasn't the greatest, which I guess is a pretty big deal when you're talking about a hotel.
- 2/5
Poor experience, staff not helpful, left with no towels one day. Should be a 2 star hotel
- 2.5/5
no free bottled drinking water in the room, no disposable sleepers, no bathrob
- 3/5
Overall a pretty mid stay. Would not come back. Our room key stopped working every day (which required trips back to the front desk for reconnection). Breakfast was not impressive (we skipped it every day) and in general the hotel is run down. The room was pleasant and fairly clean. Staff was polite and kind but seemed overwhelmed at times.
- 1/5
I liked that the hotel was in a short distance of the MSG arena. My boyfriend and I was there for a Knicks game and the location of the hotel made it very convenient to walk to the arena. Basically the price of the room did not match the actual value of the hotel. The bed was a good size for my boyfriend and I however it squeaked so much during the night it made it uncomfortable to sleep. Also, I did read the reviews, I do not know if I read all of them BUT the bathroom shower only has 1 door! I never seen that before it was very weird. We also did not do the free breakfast until the last day but when we did it was very underwhelming. I just assumed it would be better breakfast (eggs , bacon, fruit, juice, etc) it was store brought muffins and fruit that was kinda beaten up.
- 3.5/5
The location was great! The room could use some maintenance. The usb plugs did not work, the shower handle was not affixed to the wall and fell off if not careful and the flooring and floorboards were warped and damaged.
- 5/5
It was very clean. Continental breakfast was nice. 28th St is just a lovely stroll because of all of the florists and arborists lining the street every day. But.. I love the elevators. They’re fast and well programmed. Left elevator programmed to stay on 9th floor to wait for down requests, and the right elevator always on ground level for folks going up. They’re lightning fast, too. Sounds silly, but getting up and down from the high floors multiple times a day, you grow to really appreciate this. Not a thing. It was a lovely stay.
- 4.5/5
They should invest in better pillows. They were not comfortable at all.
- 3/5
It was a calm nights, Easy assembly walking area, and Front desk staffs! Any requests for towels, rugs and etc was always on point! The bed was very creaky, The design for the shower was horrible so much water kept going out, The breakfast was literally muffin, croissant & coffee — Please keep the furniture up to date and breakfast with better variations. Please trained your maintenance staff to not BUST THROUGH THE DOORS if there isn’t any answer. We had three incidents with cleaning lady and maintenance guy open the door with no response. Please take consideration that it doesn’t hurt to take a few minutes to response, it was absolutely uncomfortable when people just try to bust in without consideration of wait. We were there the whole time and each time was the same response from them.

Warm and friendly staff. Very convenient location. Reasonable price. I wish their breakfast included hard boiled eggs or some other good protein.

Hotel Hayden is in serious need of renovations. WiFi was slow and spotty, carpets worn, closet doors missing, drawers broken, mini fridge iced over, My room was broiling hot in Spring (despite having the AC on) and my friend's was freezing (despite having the heat on) and the elevator had a mind of it's own. The best things I can say are that the staff was really nice and the rooms were pretty clean.
- 4/5
Our stay here was pretty good. The breakfast was quite dissappointing because they only had fruit & yogurts basically besides the coffee bar. The rooms were clean and so was the bathroom. Our bathroom did not have a shower door but I do not know if that is just how they are designed. Staff was amazing. They all greeted upon arrival each time and even had a doorman opening the door of the hotel. The elevator were a bit slow but I did like the function they have where you have to have a key to go on any of the floors. Overall great experience.
- 4/5
Everything was great, but i wish there was more options for breakfast, like eggs or sausages.
- 5/5
Pet friendly, staff was amazing, great stay for New York at a great price. My service dogs were slightly overstimulated for New York, which I did not anticipate, being able to take them back to the room with myself and the other person in need of a service animal and get rest and decompress was so valued at this hotel. Great location! Tons of little restaurants across and down the block. Empire State building is around the corner. A few subway entrances were very close. 10/10 recommend this hotel. We had 3 rooms total for our group.
- 5/5
Everything was good no to much noise breakfast was good. The room was clean a bit outdated but it was comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

Clean, modern room. Friendly staff. Gym is tiny and breakfast limited, but would stay again.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly small and cozy rooms.
- 3/5
The staff is polite and helpful. The breakfast is very simple, consisting of coffee and a single variety of yogurt; the only food options are pastries—croissants, Danishes, and muffins. On a cold morning, one really craves a hot meal—preferably something as simple as fried eggs and/or waffles. The lighting in the dining area was surprising: a very cold, bluish light that makes it difficult to wake up—it feels as though you are sitting in the twilight, especially since there are no windows.
- 1/5
The staff was trying to charge extra money and did a horrible job explaining why. The manager, and regular staff were not on the staff page at all! The rooms had towels falling apart and the TV continue to read no signal. An engine engineer was called to my room because the heat and the air was not working properly. This hotel charges for Wi-Fi, ice, paper, continental breakfast, and I didn’t use any of it! This hotel needs to be investigated ASAP. This was the worst day of my life in the last 30 years of me traveling! This hotel needs to be investigated and inspected ASAP!

The room was basic, but clean. The beds seemed very old and very broken in. Pillows were not comfortable, woke up every morning with a stiff neck. The amenities were very basic. No vending machine, no place to get a drink of any kind. The Continental breakfast consisted of bagels or muffins and yogurt. The staff was very friendly. Close to MSG, but it felt like you were on the edge of the bad part of the city. I definitely wouldn't let my wife or children out alone there at night.

After going to my room, I found there was no heat, and cold air my blowing in my room and the temperature was 13 degrees Celsius in my hotel room when the temperature outside was -9 Celsius outside. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed, there were plastic on the bed and it felt like we were sleeping on plastic garbage bags. The bedsheets had dark stains and mold was found in the bathroom. We called after checking in to complain about the room a wanting a resolution to the problem and a refund but we were told no rooms were available and no manager on site to make any complaints but they could give us a space heater as a solution but could not get a full refund. We had to sleep in our hotel room with our clothes and winter jackets as they don’t have comforters on the beds and use 3 thin sheets as a comforter. This has been my worst hotel experience were I would usually lean on a big company like Expedia for hotel recommendations but learned quickly that the 4 start hotel we booked was closer to a 2 and a half star motel. Stay away from this hotel.

The staff was welcoming and friendly. We did have an issue with our heat in the room not working, but they had maintenance up to our room within 20 minutes to fix it. My only issue is the breakfast. It’s not much of a breakfast but just assorted muffins and pastries.

The room was spotless, although we could not figure out how to get heat in the room so we end up shutting it off and it was still cold in the room. It was clean a very basic hotel. For the price it was fine. It was a little off the track for what we normally like.

Sheets were horrible ( plastic cover on mattress ) We were freezing at night. They didn’t have covers. We change rooms 2 times. Went to complain at midnight and there was a line of people for the same reason. The manager came to talk to us at the room. Paid average of $ 600/ night totally crazy , they wave 1 night ( the least expensive one ) We stay there 4 nights. Imposible to find a room in an other hotel. Worst experience in New York in my life !!! Will never go there again !!’

We had an issue with them giving our room away on our check in day. But the manager accommodated that night so we were pleased. We never ate the breakfast so no input there. We didn’t understand why there are only 3 pillows and 3 towels for a room that sleeps 4.. No input on air either as we kept it off during our stay

Location is great with lots of walkable shops and restaurants. The staff is exceptional: so friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, it was an extremely cold day and the heat in my room was a bit temperamental (one minute too hot, another too cold). The staff bent over backwards to help, but alas, it couldn't be fixed. I was only there one night, so I didn't ask for a new room. They gave me a discounted room rate which was so appreciated. There is some room for improvement with the continental breakfast (didn't see a toaster? But they had Gluten-free muffins which were tasty!) and fitness center (a single small room, typical of an older NYC hotel). I would consider booking here again, perhaps in warmer weather.

The room was never warm. They set maintenance to fix it, but we had to stay without the heater for one night. They offered a space heater, but it wasn't enough. They said they fixed our heater, but the room thermostat never went above 70 degrees. We were there in La. in November. The room was also dusty.

I love this hotel. I will definitely stay there again. It's in a safe area. In every direction, there are spots to grab food. It's very clean. Very comfortable. Their staff is friendly. AND I was excited to learn that it's located in the historic Floral District of New York City. As a florist, that was VERY fun for me to know. It's a great hotel. Two thumbs up.

The room was dirty (noticeable dirt on the floor and bed skirt), half the wardrobe was missing a door, the bathroom light did not work (I let the front desk know my first night of three, and they never fixed it). The heating/cooling did not work (no matter what temp you moved it to, it never changed temperatures); and lastly, the thin linens, tiny pillows and plastic on the mattress made it difficult to sleep. All in all, not a pleasant stay.

While smaller than pictured, the room was large enough for the two of us. There were enough hangers for us my wife to hang her clothes and coats for four days. And the luggage rack could handle a large duffle bag. The door to the room was near to the elevators, but we never heard any noise from them landing and opening on our floor. Nor did we hear commotion on the floor. The same could not be said about the noise from the street, but we attributed that to standard NYC ambiance. One complaint about the bedding; however, was the plastic mattress pad. While slightly loud, it also was not breathable so it could be a little uncomfortable. The AC worked well to counter that. The room was cleaned daily. And at one point when we needed a plunger for a clog, the front desk was able to send maintenance to help with that within 10 minutes. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was the favorite aspect of the hotel from our visit. We were shocked at just how walkable it was to many of the city’s sites, but it was also close to the multiple subway line entrances as well as the NYC Penn Station at MSG. It was close to many shops and restaurants as well. If we are able to make it back to NYC in the future we will look to stay at Hotel Hayden again.

Great location but that’s about it. I have stayed in much better hotels in the same area for less money. The whole hotel is a bit run-down, the facilities are poor, breakfast not great, wifi barely worked, there’s a plastic lining under the bed sheet which makes sleeping uncomfortable (but great if I pee myself of course). Overall it’s not a 4-star hotel, 2-3 star for me, overpriced for what it is. Will find somewhere else next time.

Absolutely awful. The shower dripped all day and night and the toilet took two times to flush properly and the sink didn’t drain cleanly. That’s just the bathroom part. The bed was so hard I actually hurt my shoulders laying on it. I almost slept maybe once the first night only to wake up to the vent falling down in the middle of the night because it’s held together by magnets. As for sleeping the other nights well the draft from the window was so strong and cold all night I had to stay in my sweatshirt and pants all night long.

They really need to work on maintenance and cleaning, a lot of things were broken and cleaning was terrible, also the bed has a plastic cover underneath the sheets which is totally uncomfortable. I book this hotel for a couple days and I’m so glad that I didn’t have to stay more time, also the breakfast was a joke, consists in croissants, yogurt, apples and coffe also the guy in charge of that was viewing TikToks on the highest volume his phone could get. Terrible for a 4 stars hotel, I guess is bc the location otherwise it was looking more like a super 8 motel. Windows didn’t protect from noise, so imagine trying to sleep like that in a city like NY
- 5/5
I came to NY for one day for a recharge, and I must say that I enjoyed my stay. All of the staff were so nice, and the location was very convenient. When booking my stay, I intially did so because of the rooftop but I was so exhausted that I didn’t get a chance to go check it out, but I hadn’t realized the hotel is located in what is called the flower district. Even though the sidewalks are very narrow, it was beautiful walking past all of the greenery when coming in or leaving the hotel. The ONLY complaint that I have, which is not the hotel’s fault, is that the street is EXTREMELY busy at night time. I was up until 2am because of all of the constant cars honking their horns, emergency vehicles going past, and loud car music being played. Other than that, I truly enjoyed my stay here and will hopefully be back to check out the rooftop

First night was a nightmare, hotel fully booked and the shower faucet in the rooom isn't functioning, they sent us to another room with a broken ddor lock to take a shower, felt like a hostel. The next day had to pack my stuff and put luggage in the hold to only get a new room at the afternoon. The new room had a terrible A/C that would vibrate and shake when it cools, had to sleep with A/C off and windows open, guess what? the flower shops on the steet unload crates of flowers 3:30AM-6:00AM ... next morning asked for an extra towel, I come back to the room, and no house keeping, asking the front desk about it and get the standard "you probably left the DND sign on the door" to my reply of "NO!" they check and say "yopu got towels in the morning....horrible! I had then asked daily to remind for H/K. The resort fee is for what??? WiFi was out for 3 out of 6 nights stay, good thing they had a good neighbour called Cambria hotel that provided descent free WiFi. I asked what are they going to do with my experience, I was offered an $80 refund (avarage night was about $330) I suggested they'd reconsider, so manager that was at the sight only on my 4th day, had offered to refund the first night of stay (the one with the hostel shower...) I agreed but I really suggest, if someone reads my review - Do invest in deep maintenance - you are selling service not flowers. (do remember that you state you are **** hotel)

- Taking towels without leaving replacements - Showing up to clean the room while I was there, no problem with that BUT, after I sat in the lobby for 1/2 hour to let her clean it, I came back up to find it untouched? Called housekeeping to tell them not to worry about it, been out on the town for hours and was going to take a nap and, just nodded off and she’s knocking on the door again. So woken up and back down to the lobby…. - Next day left early and let housekeeping know I was gone and room was clear to be cleaned. Came back 7 hours later and NOT TOUCHED?? - Not really a big deal but at least wanted coffee for the AM and that took 4 phone calls and 3 trips to the room to get Caffeinated coffee (as opposed to the Decaf they kept sending up) Really too bad because I think it’s a great place otherwise….

There was no air conditioning in either of the rooms we were in, and it got up to 85° in my room. Everything else was great.

One downside was the plastic mattress protector, which felt hot and uncomfortable during the night. On the positive side, the windows could be opened—something I always appreciate, as it allows for fresh air and natural ventilation. Overall, I would recommend this hotel if you’re able to secure a good price, as the location and room size offer excellent value.
- 4/5
El hotel como tal no tiene parque propio y el parqueo más cercano cobraron $60 y solo nos dieron un descuento de $10 porque nos hospedamos en el hotel.

Suggestion: Room temp was rather warm at a permanent temp of 68 and invest in Better Mattresses
- 3/5
Good price, safe hotel, fantastic location. But... room was a bit worse for wear, dirty (not filthy). It's a perfectly fine place if you're looking to save money - but with about 10 hotels in the near few blocks, they need to slap a few coats of paint on the rooms and maybe do a bit of deep cleaning. Staff was very friendly. Loved the breakfast guys vibe - put me a good mood for the day.

Hotel met my needs. Reasonable price for NY hotel. Very nice, efficient staff.

Cons- check-in says 3:00 but our room wasn't ready till almost 4:00. AC didn’t work & it was HOT. We asked for it to be fixed or to change rooms but it didn’t happen. No fitted sheet on the beds just a top sheet over a very loose fitted plastic covering. No curtain or door on the shower & the shower head was horrible so water got everywhere & made it almost impossible to wash your hair. Definitely wouldn't stay here again.

The staff was exceptional!. Our room was great. Located near the subway. A restaurant would be nice, but there are some close by....
- 3/5
Then finally we were transferred to another room with no help provided. Only 2 towels available for family of 4. Requested for extra but it toom them 4 hrs to deliver with several calls attempts. The very down side was the breakfast. It was continental which theynserve comes from original packaging that looks like they just bought it from Seven Eleven. Fruits only apple or banana. No cereals for kids. Not very nice breakfast.
- 3/5
It was very convenient to the public transportation and the deli store around the corner. The front desk staff went over, above and very welcoming. Due to front dest staff hospitality I gave this hotel 3 star. Your housekeeping department needs to be more vigilant on keeping on top of the rooms decor, example the shower handle came off in my hand while I was trying to adjust the water temperature. The last guest left a dirty makeup cloth on the shade. Left a note for the room technician attention, but did not address the issue, also the lounge chair could do with an upholstery cleaning and the air condition needs attention. Other than that felt safe and enjoyed my stay.
- 2/5
The bed felt like a cot, lumpy and the sheets felt like sand paper, I had to checkout a few hours after checking in. Stains on the walls, they don’t answer the phone downstairs, won’t catch me back there.

It’s a good location close to Madison square/ penn station. Lots of good local places to eat near it.The bathroom was very nicely remodeled, but the rest of the room leaves a lot to be desired. The bed was uncomfortable and very unstable. None of the usb outlets /most of the outlets did not work and the room had a bit of a smell. It was good for a quick night stay like we had, but if we stayed longer, I’d look elsewhere.

Property was perfect location to walk to many places and hop on a subway... A/C was not working two nights out of the three we were there and it was hot in the room. We were gone for most of the day and hoped to come back to a cool room but nope. Sleeping and sweating was not cool.

Unfortunately my bathroom light did not work, the iron was broken and the A/C stopped working on a 90 degree plus day. Maintenance was unavailable and tge hotel was fully booked. I think i also would have chosen a different property had i know that the restaurant was also under renovation. Overall I was very disappointed.

Within five days we had to switch rooms three different times was almost going to be a fourth but my husband learned how to reset the AC. Every room we went to the AC only last about two hours before automatically turns off within the three moves that we had to do my husband lost his headphones and the hotel still hasn’t contacted us to let me know if they plan on doing anything. If we did not have to move three different times I personally feel we would not have lost things.
- 3/5
Not up to the mark and below expectations
- 1/5
From the moment we checked in, the AC in our room was broken. The room was dusty and clearly not well-maintained. The technicians came seven times throughout our stay after we complained over 20 times. After repeated complaints, they moved us to another room (Room 304) — but the air conditioning there also did not work. Each time they sent someone to fix it, it would stop working again within minutes. The outdoor temperature was close to 90°F, and the room was unbearably hot and humid. We barely slept all three nights. Despite calling the front desk multiple times and being promised fans, none were ever brought to the room. One staff member even snapped at us and said there was nothing she could do. A technician (who claimed to be the engineering manager) told us he’d have the AC working in 20 minutes, but it never happened. Even worse, he belittled another staff member right in front of us before damaging the transponder. I was shocked by the level of unprofessionalism, poor service, and lack of care for guests. This hotel is listed as a four-star property, but it was nowhere close. The location was great — but that’s where the positives end.

It was really nice and clean and with him walking distance of a beautiful mall

I did not have air conditioning for the three nights I stayed. They moved me to three different rooms and the air conditioning did not work in any of them and no one seem to know how to fix it. Also, they need to have a better overnight person at the desk. She was on her phone a lot and not helpful at all. I was promised a new room the second night and when I got to the hotel that evening there was nothing available. They take the first two nights off the bill which I appreciated but there is no excuse for not having air conditioning in July.

There's no exhaust in the bathroom, so a muggy bathroom just stays muggy for hours. I had to reset the AC's compressor constantly because it would kick off. The hotel has the AC set for the lowest at 68 degrees which is typically cold enough (my home is set to 72), but because of its system and its placement, it felt like a constant 74. I couldn't have most of the continental breakfast. There were apples, oranges, maybe bananas, extremely sweet pastries, and Yoplait yogurt. No non-dairy creamer or milks. It was nice that they had something, but there were like 6 or 8 big boxes of pastries but not a single cereal box or oatmeal pouch. The staff were all extremely helpful. It's right in the flower district and it was pretty clean, so no rodents (which you might find in a more restaurant-heavy street). Walkable to good restaurants, cafes, and fast food.

Great location, but the rooms need some updating. The mattress was springy and squeaky. There was peeling paint in the room and the AC kept turning off requiring maintenance's to restart it.

We enjoyed our stay here very much from check in to checkout, Tyler at the front desk was very nice when we arrived as well as all staff. great price, great location for all the tourist events, activities and some really great restaurants. The breakfast was a convenient and quick option for us, we were able to save money and get to our destinations quickly for the day, delicious pastries, if there was only one thing I would say, is to add a juice option. We appreciated that the hotel was quiet inside and outside. I honestly think when it came to location, my favorite thing was the amazing aroma from the flower vendors in the Flower district the hotel is located in, and to watch the hard work going in to setting them all up for the day and putting them away did not go unnoticed. Do not listen to the minor negative comments in the reviews, we will definitely be back!

The property is on the boardwalk. Not fancy.

Also room was a bit musty smelling.

AC did not work during my stay. Could not even accommodate me with getting it fixed or providing a fan as they were all out. I also was not able to move rooms because they were full.

The hotel beds are unstable. When you sit on one side, the mattress pops up on the other end. The beds are lumpy, and uncomfortable. When we complained, the mgr complained about our complaint! The air conditioner makes constant, loud clanking noises. The toilet leaks. The trim along the walls is missing and pieces broken! They charge a $47 daily facility fee for an inferior facility!

The hotel location was good but room was small, air conditioning didn’t work, and wifi didn’t work. The staff didn’t do a thing regarding the air conditioning when we asked. We also asked for water and they never sent it up. I don’t think it’s worth the money staying here.

Really enjoyed our stay, staff was friendly, property clean, cute room, we weren't here long just stayed overnight after a concert, but enjoyed our experience while we were there.

Cancelled my reservation because they overbooked and won’t refund me first nights deposit

Not worthy of 4 stars at all.

The hotel was clean and the staff were very nice. The air conditioning was broken in the room and it smelled a bit like smoke. When I checked out, they hit me with a Facility fee that was over $40. It had no explanation tied to it.

Poorly maintained rooms; bathroom door didn't close; minimal lobby

Thank you

The bed was mad of a plastic board-at least that’s what it felt like

A nice, clean hotel well located in NYC. Want to note they charge a facility fee at the end of the booking despite booking through an up front booking site. I always tip the room cleaners because I don’t trust these fees include bonuses for them.

The Hotel was good, but the bad part was hearing someone trying to get in my room at 11pm on a Saturday night. Apparently they were the building engineers trying to fix a lock issue. ON MY OCCUPIED ROOM! Unbelievable.

They need to upgrade electronics charging capabilities in the room, they are very outdated. I would recommend requesting a room location at on the 28th St. side. It is very very noisy.
- 5/5
I would use them again.

In addition, hotel was dingy and dark. There was no soap until we asked for it. The knob kept falling off the shower faucet. Everything was just a little broken (eg. Wardrobe door wouldn’t fully close), etc. As a former NY-er, I know one’s expectations in NYC shift (we can put up with a lot!), but this was beyond. Would not recommend.

Air conditioning did not work, Toilet had to be fixed every day, housekeeping did not replenish towels until we asked. But in a great location- room was clean and quiet.

A/C was not working properly, shower had almost zero pressure, continental breakfast included only pastries, yogurt and fruits.

A bit run down and dirty. Needs an upgrade. water shower flooded. old furniture in rooms. It got the job done.

I arrived at the hotel at 3 AM only to find that my room had been canceled without Expedia or the hotel letting me know that it had been canceled I was then not able to find a hotel room for the night because of the way that I was treated when I walked into hotel Hayden the security guard laughed at me at me being stranded in New York City at 3 AM without a hotel room Keeping people on your staff that treat people this way is a travesty they were horrible to me and I think that you should know and do something about it

The location was good but the rooms were terrible. The AC didn’t work I called the first day and they fixed it but then it kept turning off to the point I had to keep resetting it myself. I called to make sure the refrigerators worked and they said yes put my food in there and it spoiled. Pillows are little squares I didn’t even know the sold pillows that small. Overall not worth it. There are a ton of hotels I would prefer nearby or even next door

I got what I paid for, but don’t believe any positive reviews.
- 2/5
The only thing this place has going is the location but take my advice and boom any of the many other hotels on the same road.
- 3/5
The pillows were half the size of a standard pillow and we got four squares. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. Let’s not talk about the TV remote and the fact that no amount of alcohol wipes would help. AC wasn’t that great so not sure how guests are going to fair on the hot NY summers.

great location, basic hotel
