The front desk lady is nice There were huge cockroaches in the lobby area. They stepped on it and said the building was not affected by the roaches.

As soon as you walk into the lobby the smell from the Indian restaurant inside hotel was overwhelming Hotel staff at front desk were very friendly

Location of the Hotel was perfect. Room was very clean and well maintained. We were overcharged @USD 1409 while the agreed rent was USD 1145 for 4 nights. The invoice mentioned wrong credit of USD1334 in place of charged amount of USD 1409. We were told to wait at least 3 days plus to get the refund amount. We want refund of USD 264 ASAP.
- 2/5
Location was best very near to downtown No accommodation for basic requests like electric kettle as we are vegetarian and were dependent on out ready to heat food which required boiling water. After repeated requests we were not provided and struggles a lot. No milk powder given for coffes despite repeated requests. Also, afterong 14 hrs flight we requested for 1 hr before check in, we were strongly denied and we were at pripertt since 11 am fully tired and exhausted byt no accommodation fkr this. We saw many people checking out, still ni effort to provide us early check in despite our situation

- 4/5
The check-in process and staff was nice and helpful. The key cards tends to not work after a while. This happened a couple of times to me but, once you tell them, they are helpful in correcting the issue. The room was clean and good enough amenities. However, the shampoo/conditioner dispenser was not tightly sealed and some of the towels didn’t look as clean (didn’t use it). Also, if you’re looking for a comfortable pillow to sleep on, it’s not that comfy at all. The bed itself is comfy.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating but the overall maintenance was really lacking. The toilet in our room did not flush correctly once the entire stay despite maintenance “checking it out.” The windows in our room were so filthy it made the whole room feel dingy. The front lights for the signage at the front lobby were never illuminated, even at night and people would stand at the front entrance smoking. Given the size of the entry, there was no way to avoid the smokers. Room was cleaned and kept up nicely but with the bathroom problems, size of the room and lack of other amenities, we would likely not return. The location was great for the hotel so it was disappointing that it lacked all around.
- 3/5
Horrible customer service, left my wallet at the hotel and they very rude about it!

The room was very comfortable. It was not extremely large, but it had enough space for both of us to feel comfortable throughout our stay, and my boyfriend especially loved it. We also appreciated how peaceful it was at night, since there was no loud noise, which made it easy to rest and sleep well. Another thing we noticed was that the guests were respectful of the building rules, especially the “No Smoking” policy inside the property. People who smoked did so outside on the street, which helped keep the environment clean and pleasant. The hotel staff was also very welcoming, helpful, and professional. Even though we saw different employees at the front desk throughout our stay, every person we interacted with was kind and provided excellent customer service.
- 2/5
We appreciated the thoughtful amenities provided, including Dove shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion. The availability of early check-in was particularly beneficial, especially following our early flight. Additionally, the lobby offered a selection of snacks, and the freshly baked chocolate cookie was a delightful touch. On the downside, the lobby itself was quite limited in size. As we were traveling with a large group, there was insufficient space for us to gather comfortably. Furthermore, while the front desk staff member was not especially warm in demeanor, she addressed our needs and requests in an efficient manner. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with several commendable features. However, those traveling with larger groups may wish to consider the limited communal space available. P.s. They do not provide breakfast even if it was listed on Expedia

Very central location, comfy beds The room was too small for four people, there was no space for luggage. The AC didn't work and there was no oxygen in the room and the windows couldn't be opened. The staff was unhelpful with check-in. Too expensive for what you get

great location etc
- 5/5
During our stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. Especially with fixing some electrical issues we had in our room. They were able to fix it within hours once I had notified them. Great accomodation choice in the financial district.
- 3/5
The room was functional. It was small and cramped. The person who checked us in was incredible unfriendly. She mumbled and seemed to be irritated by our presence. One evening we came back to the room and it smelled like cigarette smoke. The beds were comfortable and clean and that’s all I can say for the room. If all you need is an inexpensive place in lower Manhattan, then this is the place for you. Good luck!!

- 5/5
Had a great time, room was clean, very nice area
- 3/5
Not very clean!
- 4/5
The room was nice and spacey with the necessary amenities in the bathroom. Staff was helpful and welcoming. However, the thermostat in the room to adjust for the air conditioner was not easy to navigate. Location wise, it was convenient and close to restaurants, shops and transportation. The area though, especially at night, is questionable.
- 2.5/5
The staff it was very helpful. They do a faster response. And I love the location The price is to higher and the quality of the amenities are too old. The clean can be better. I didn’t sleep the two nights because something make a noise the whole night out side the room. By the patio.

Our first room was dirt, and besides a machine room that was extremely loud and made the wall literally shake. Not only that, but the room also had blood stains on the restroom walls. The did change our room upon my request. The first attendant who did our check-in was not friendly at all and seemed like she absolutely did not want to help. Further, every time we arrived back at the hotel, the access card to our room would not work, so I had to go back to the front desk and get a new one.
- 3/5
Talk about attitude of front desk staff who think they begrudgingly are doing you a favour. Some back to basics customer service training required for at least one individual we dealt with.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, very good location, wonderful staff
- 5/5
She also gave me an upgraded room. Everyone who worked there was nice and pleasant, will be going back and referring friends and family
- 5/5
All you really need is a clean and convenient place to sleep in NYC. Everything was great.
- 3/5
Yes, the food was fresh. The staff were friendly. And I was able to find places throughout the day with limited difficulty.
- 1/5
Oui c'est "bien placé" mais vu le tarif et ce qui est proposé j'ai envie de dire "heureusement".
- 4/5
Clean room. Good location. The only suggestion is to have a Printed Listing of the TV channels in each room.
- 2/5
Old old old! Time to update at the rate you charged, room was gross carpet was original 20 plus years old, bathtub had rust, walls had scum it was gross
- 4/5
Carpet in room needs replacement. Shower curtain too short. Water spills into bathroom floor and there is no drain.
- 3/5
The hotel is very small but kind staff !!
- 4/5
We had a great stay at the Holiday Inn on Wall Street. The room was clean and well serviced. The only thing I wish they had was a mini fridge/microwave, as they mostly service travellers and we didn’t have anywhere to put leftover food for the next day. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for your stay!
- 3/5
Everything is extremely cramped—rooms, hallways, and elevators. The bathroom is especially problematic: it’s so small that anyone who isn’t very slim will struggle to close the door or shower comfortably. This should be clearly disclosed. Amenities are lacking. There is no laundry service, which is a major inconvenience for longer stays. Cleanliness is unacceptable. I found trash in the room on day one, and despite daily housekeeping for an entire week, it was never removed. On another occasion, staff left cleaning supplies behind in my room. That shows a serious lack of attention and professionalism. The only reason I stayed was because the booking was prepaid—otherwise, I would have left on day one. This is not a cheap hotel, and at this price point, it is simply not worth it. I will not return, and I strongly recommend others stay away. At best, this is a 1–2 star experience.
- 4/5
Great location, 5mins walk from world trade centre monument and the New York stock exchange. Rooms are a bit small but everything was clean.
- 4/5
Breakfast good
- 5/5
Everything was good. No complaints
- 1/5
Our bathroom was full of hair. They said “we can send someone to pick it up”. We were given 2 towels for 2 adults. Room had a keurig with 2 decaf and one regular pod. No fridge, only available for medications. No microwave. The reasoning is “they have a restaurant downstairs so we don’t need that”
- 3/5
Room was clean. It was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet was broken and the shower was as small as a shower in an RV. The worst part was the noise from street level. We were 10 floors up but were kept awake for hours.
- 5/5
Would definitely go back. Great place and great people
- 5/5
The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was exactly what we needed—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, and the bathroom had everything we needed for a four-night stay. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and comfortable place to stay in Lower Manhattan.
- 5/5
Honestly this was the kindest group of people running this hotel. The gym could use weights, but that is my only qualm. Honestly, this is a very clean room with everything you need. Would absolutely stay again.
- 5/5
Amazing location, staff were so nice and it was a great deal! Felt safe as a solo female traveller
- 4/5
Very small room and no room to put your luggage. Coffee machine was dirty. The hotel tried to charge my cc for extra night without informing me, despite I was eligible and confirmed for a late check-out. Location of the hotel is the best feature, close to cafes, restaurants and major attractions as well as the subway.
- 2/5
Dirty and moldy room. Up all night because of lound noises from outside ( builing noises). Had to refresh card everytime we came to our room. Room smelt like strong smoke. Nice staff
- 5/5
The room was clean, a bit small but convenient. There are lots of places to eat and visit around, also close to subway stations.
- 5/5
Staff were very accommodating! Convenient location as well. Rooms are a little tiny, but for the price it’s definitely worth it. Would definitely come back!
- 1/5
The pictures are deceiving and I question the reviews. The elevators rattle and one had not been inspected since 2021. The hotel linens were stained and the floors reeked of bleach yet it still did not appear to be clean.
- 5/5
Great room. Staff was very helpful. great location close to tons of great stuff. Plan to stay here again
- 5/5
Staff was great

Parking is an issue, but it is New York.
- 5/5
Staff were super nice.
- 4/5
Clean room, helpful staff, and great location. Overall a good experience!
- 4/5
- 5/5
Very cozy, nice, clean and of course the staff amazing.
- 5/5
It was perfect
- 4/5
Staff are good and room is fine
- 4/5
Great location right on Wall Street 10 min walk to Brooklyn bridge. 5 min walk to subway station which links you to the whole of NYC. Good room enough space for two people. Complimentary water on arrival which is a great touch. Elevators take a while to come however not a major issue. Get what you paid for would definitely stay at the same hotel again. Reception staff are smiley and friendly and always there to help. Deposit of about $70 is taken when you check in which isn’t mentioned anywhere when booking the hotel however if the room is fine when leaving staff stated you get the deposit back in a few working days.
- 3/5
Very small room, the toilet would only flush half the time and that was when you help the handle down. Went to the desk to let them know and the maintenance man showed up said oh it’s fine and left. No fridge or microwave. Had lots of other fees that had to be paid upon arrival even though we booked and paid online.
- 5/5
Easy check-in. Nice room. Overall great
- 1/5
The room was disgustingly dirty, rust in the tub where I did not even want to step into,
- 5/5
I had a very late check-in, due to my flight being delayed, but the staff was very helpful and accommodating.
- 3/5
The room was clean it wasn’t the nicest hotel we didn’t have a view but the complimentary waters were nice and overall it was okay the area wasn’t anything special
- 3/5
Breakfast was not included but offered from Indian restaurant connected to lobby.
- 3/5
The room was clean, but the internet and television were not working for the first 24 hours. The safe was broken, we couldn't use it & the maintenance man couldn't fix it. We got stuck in the elevator where the doors wouldn't open on the seventh floor, thankfully we're able to go back down and use the stairs.
- 3/5
Upon arrival, Toilet paper in toilet (making me think the toilet was not cleaned), dirt and hair in the shower, front room entry not vacuumed, stains on window coverings.
- 5/5
The efficiency, cleanliness, good location, and manners were all impeccable
- 1/5
The lady at the front deskt was so rude all the days I had stayed at the hotel.
- 5/5
I was really worried before check in based off some of the reviews, but our hotel was clean—yes it’s smaller but that’s NY for you. Most of the staff was really friendly. There was a charge when we checked in that I was confused about but hoping to get that money returned . There is a slight smell when turning on the heat/ air but other than that, it’s totally fine! In the middle of the financial district and close to Wall Street. Would stay again!! And they keep your bags even after checkout incase you have extra time before a flight!
- 1/5
When I arrived, the first room they have smelled really smelled. It smelled like strong marijuana. There was a plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector. The front desk person gave me an attitude when I requested another room. They finally gave me another room. The new room had lots of mold in the bathroom. I will never go to this hotel or recommend this hotel ever.
- 5/5
Staff was very nice
- 5/5
Nice View on the 16 floor, everything clean, walkable to all Wall Street and the staff very nice.
- 5/5
One of the best place to saty, its on the middle of the al the places to do tourism, shopping, restaurants... I recommend this place
- 2/5
Reception staff was very stressed, and not happy to work. Best in the hotel was the breakfast lady and the location
- 3/5
The room had a garbage odor upon entrance, which was most likely due to the garbage in the alley. When pulling the shades to from off the scent and view, it revealed that the shades were broken. The wallpaper was damaged the headboard fabric was dirty. So customer service and small updates to the room would have improved this experience.
- 5/5
Muy buena habitación, fuimos en incierto y siempre estaba caliente. personal amable, nos daban snacks cada que pasábamos por la recepción. Muy buen restaurante indio en el primer piso , recomendada la comida
- 2/5
Unhelpful staff, painting and decorating occurring in hallways and lifts meaning entryways were overcrowded, no prior mention of road closures and mass disruption outside the hotels front door due to Mandani inauguration, lift malfunctioned whilst I was in it and I had a non response from staff when I informed them.
- 1/5
The rooms are extremely small and dirty.
- 3/5
The condition of the rooms wasn’t great. And the TV was fairly faulty
- 2/5
Rooms are tiny! Don’t expect much because you won’t be getting much from this hotel. I understand it’s a budget hotel for New York but you can get better I wouldn’t stay again nor recommend it. Rooms are old and run down and when I say tiny I mean tiny just about hung coats in the wardrobe and no space to open a suitcase. If your a single traveler and have low expectations then it’s for you but anyone with kids avoid this hotel. Don’t bother paying extra for breakfast you get given a $17 dollar voucher to spend in the restaurant next door it’s not worth paying for
- 2/5
The staff were not friendly and bad housekeeping.
- 4/5
The king rooms with patios could use a fridge. Had no way of keeping food and drinks cold other then sticking them outside on the balcony
- 5/5
Hotel staff respectful and very resourceful.
- 3/5
All the front staff were great, very pleasant and welcoming. The housekeeping needs improvement, the restroom was not cleaned at all the first day and on the second day it was semi cleaned. Fresh towels were left on the sink. By 3rd the floor and pot were dirty.
- 4/5
The room was spacious. Walking distance from everything. I would stay there again.
- 2/5
Not up to standards. The room was not clean (hair all over the bed, chips on the carpet, and garbage in the drawers). This is an immediate reason not to recommend. Location is great, but could be more secure with the key access for the lobby/elevator like many other hotels. Other hotels in the area are a much better choice.
- 5/5
Always a great time at this place
- 5/5
Great location. Clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
it was clean, easy and seamless - I will stay here all the time.
- 2/5
Water was very weak for the washroom.
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff, nice location and great value for money
- 4/5
Looks good but too small rooms
- 4/5
Staff
- 2/5
I did not inform the front desk, after how i witnessed them respond to several other hotel guests in the lobby while waiting for my room to be ready.
- 4/5
Thanks
- 2/5
The staff was fine - zero complaints about the staff. The towels and linens were clean. The room itself can best be desribed as run-down and uncomforable. The single chair in the room was uncomfortable and beat, including cracked upholstery. There was no desk or table, just 1 weird shelf which was too high for the beat chair. The mattress was uncomfortable as it was used up around the edge and too soft. When the room was cleaned after one night, there was no longer a top sheet on the bed. The walls were stained and in disrepair. The shower curtain was too short for the shower and stained around the bottom. Even if it was clean, it did not look clean.
- 1/5
Horrible costume service!! The front desk lady with the braids sucks (mi card keys didn’t work and she never give me a keys until I get a manager) Dirty rooms, dirty carpets!!! Coffe pot broken and shower gel bottle empty .. I will never 👎 recommended it to anyone!!
- 1/5
I had no hot water the entire stay. I let the front desk know and multiple times I was told it would be resolved but it never was. Additionally, the room was not clean when I arrived as evidenced by the bed not being made, towels were still on the floor, and trash not emptied. The staff told me to leave for an hour and return later. I had arrived at 3:30 and check in was at 3:00, which would have given them time to get my room prepared
- 5/5
Excelente ubicacion
- 1/5
Room was extremely dirty - cockroaches in the bathroom
- 3/5
The wifi took about an hour before it would connect to my phone or computer. There was no hot water the second morning I was there - had to wait 30 minutes after I called the desk. Staff was super friendly and super helpful. Room was decent.
- 2/5
The room felt negleted, after a shower the floor was flooded with water, wall was dirty with small black spot. The staff was very nice, is a good spot because is about 20 minute from all the activities that we wanted to do
- 5/5
Great Customer Service and Clean!
- 5/5
great, easy, and clean
- 4/5
Clean room, they cleaned the rooms every day. Front desk staff will friendly. We had no breakfast. But the location was so convenient it was easy finish breakfast and diner meals.
- 5/5
All good. Hot water. Good preassure. Comfy bed. Spaceful. Not too much light but acceptable.
- 5/5
The room, bed and bathroom were comfortable for myself and teenage son for 9 nights in New York, travelling from Australia. Central location close to subway, shops, convenience stores and 9/11 memorial and museum, ferry to Statue of Liberty, Century 21, H&M, Sephora, GAP etc. Room is on the smaller size but you would be hard pressed to find such a great spot and so reasonably priced. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to New York looking for a good value hotel, central location and a comfortable bed to sleep.
- 5/5
We stay here when visiting our daughter that is attending Pace university it’s a great location at a great price
- 5/5
Excelente ubicación cerca de varias estaciones de Subway zona tranquila
- 2/5
The room was not clean enough, is very important
- 3/5
Should check all the amenities working properly before checking in a guest. Shower drain was blocked then toilet was blocked. Reception never advised that if I book breakfast 24 hours prior than I at GBP 12.50 instead of GBP 18.50. Breakfast buffet food is not great. Hash brown are hard, sausages have been there for a whole food I’d me great. Only juice, coffee, croissant is okay.
- 5/5
Very great location. 100% recommended.
- 3/5
Staff were lovely, always someone to welcome you in. Breakfast bars and sweet treats in reception all at all times, a great touch. Room were not well maintained - carpet needed a vacuum, pillows absolutely dreadful but were described as firm, they were very soft and very flat. Bits of black mould in the bathroom. No where to store luggage as the room was so small (expected for nyc). Overall, a good place to stay if just looking to bed down for the night, no frills, very bog standard. Location was great for the subway, 9/11 memorial, oculus and WTC.
- 3/5
breakfast taste bad and tea need to pay additional fees.
- 4/5
Thx you

Excellent service, great experience at checking in and out too. Great location also.
- 1/5
I was asked to put a security deposit down of approximately

DO NOT STAY HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Do not let the mixed reviews convince you it might be okay- it is not. Listings inaccurate. Had to check out 4 days early due to inaccurate listing losing thousands of dollars. Hotels.com called and IHG corporate got involved but hotel staff terrible and would do nothing to help. Will never stay at an IHG property again that’s how horrendous this experience was. They leave little responses on reviews that are meaningless they do not care about their customers at all. Trust me!
- 1/5
The worst experience I have had in a hotel…! I’m jut gonna to leave it like that 😡😡
- 4/5
Staff was great
- 4/5
Staff was great, convenient location.
- 4/5
The size of the room is quite small but the hotel location is the best!
- 3/5
The hotel is in a great location which made our stay convenient but the rest of the experience was disappointing, the hotel is a little outdated. There was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the kitchen downstairs to our room on the second floor, reception disregarded our concerns and didn’t offer any solutions and hung up the phone in an unprofessional manner.
- 5/5
Justine and the staff at the hotel are amazing! Super friendly and always helpful. Very friendly and a great location!
- 4/5
Good hotel, nice people, great location
- 4/5
great location and covincence
- 5/5
The room was definitely good for the price. The room was far from dirty but just not quite spotless. The bathroom was very clean. What made this experience super awesome for me was the staff. They were super nice and very helpful. They went the extra mile to ensure my stay was comfortable. Even before and past checkout.
- 5/5
Very convenient location. Room was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly.
- 4/5
The staff was amazing super friendly and every evening I came back my room was clean! Would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
Smallest shower ever, bathroom window drafty and cable TV barely worked.
- 4/5
Although we didn’t have a fridge or a microwave in the room.
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful and very courteous. But the room, the lobby and all of the facilities need a upgrade. The rooms were clean. The place needs a serous make over.
- 4/5
Everything was good! Just a few bad points with the restroom fan that didn’t work. Other than that no issues
- 1/5
No air conditioning. Heat smelled like mold. Had to get a new keycard every time I wanted into my room. NOT a $1000 hotel room.
- 5/5
Clean room and nice staff
- 1/5
The room was dirty. There’s mold in the shower. The light fixtures, barely work and are broken. Without notifying us, they entered the room to install a new phone. We had a do not disturb sign on the door and that’s very disrespectful. They should notify the tenants. The phone was definitely broken and needed replaced, but we are required to have notice in our space. Everything felt dirty. The staff was pretty nice though.
- 5/5
Friendly staff who helped whenever possible.
- 1/5
I’m an IHG member, and this was the worst Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at. The room was very dirty, exhaust fans didn’t work, and the sink was blocked. The air conditioner had fungus, and turning on the heat made the room smell terrible. The coffee machine was filthy, the shower curtain too short, and no breakfast was provided. For the high price, the condition and cleanliness were extremely disappointing.
- 2/5
Customer service is not a strong trait of this property. The building is little aged so are the rooms. They’re clean but not the cleanest. It a decent place to crash at for your stay but that’s all and too expensive for just that. Twice our keys stopped working and had to get them rewritten. There is a coffee machine in the room but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
- 2/5
Suboptimal customer service, dirty hallways, pink mold in bathrooms. No ice machine or microwaves onsite. Don’t stay here if you have a family.
- 2/5
The room was never vacuumed before or during our stay. The bathroom was dirty with pink mold evident in the shower.
- 3/5
Stayed for 2 nights. Comfortable beds and pillows. Not very clean- actually dingy, not necessarily dirty. Huge dead cockroach in the hallway outside our room, just ick. Zero security, anyone could walk right in. Zero views, faced another building. The location was ok, walking distance to Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, Oculus. Wouldn’t stay again.
- 2/5
I think the room rate was too pricey for what we get. While the reception staff are ok, the housekeeping team need to step up, we had to ask them a few times to change towels and empty the rubbish bins. We only had our room cleaned properly the day before we checked out.The hotel itself is an old tiny building, the room is small, shower is alright. The location is lower Manhattan - walking distance to FIDI, Wall St, Battery Park, 9/11 memorial, trains, Brooklyn bridge. Plenty of cheap eats nearby.

Price was low but there was no fridge, fan didn’t work in bathroom Shower had good water pressure and was clean.

Clean room
- 5/5
it was good
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff was so helpful (everyone at the front desk, cleaning staff, bellhop). View was great. Laundry room was a plus!
- 4/5
Boa localização perto da estação Fulton St. do metrô. Tem opções de alimentação por perto. Maior parte da equipe é atenciosa, faz muita falta um frigobar no quarto.
- 4/5
Satisfactory. Staff and all were very courteous.
- 4/5
I think it’s the smell on the carpet that smells. Carpet need to lighter in color as well so that rooms are brighter. Rooms only have bedside lamps
- 5/5
Room was equitable and clean
- 1/5
The hotel stay was horrendous. It was a waste of $1200. Wrong directions, AC wasn’t working, and the bathroom area was intolerable.
- 5/5
Good location
- 4/5
We were able to walk to the 911 Memorial and the Statue of Liberty ferry from our hotel. We walked to restaurants as well. We had a roof top balcony all to ourselves with chairs and coffee table. The room size was pretty tight and a fridge would have been helpful. It was nice to receive 2 free bottles of water a day.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff. Close to the subway station
- 2/5
While the room and bedding were clean, the room left a lot to be desired. Ironing board was broken. Housekeeping didn't come by on the first day until about 4/4:30 while we were getting ready for dinner. I had already made Justine aware and she sent a new ironing board and a fresh set of towels. When housekeeping came on the second day (per my request to clean before 2pm, which they did), they left the dirty towels on the bathroom floor. The toilet paper holder is rusty and nasty looking. The bathroom didn't fully close without some manipulation. The hot water in the sink was intermittent. With such a small room, shelves or under-sink storage would have been helpful.
- 2/5
Cleaning was inconsistent - missed some towels, forgot to empty trash, used linen left in room, no vacuum of floor despite 5 night stay, AC machine is dirty
- 3/5
Staff was nice. Room is very small. Pillows are uncomfortable and the shower curtain does not block the water so bathroom floor gets soaked.
- 5/5
We have been staying there for the last 3 years and the staff is the best part! Always so accommodating and nice! The front house manager, Justine is the best! Truly, the staff is what keeps us coming back! Hoping they finish renovations soon where we can access the gym with our key(instead of taking time away from the front desk to open it for us) and a working ice machine with water and sanitary wipes in the gym would be great.
- 2/5
Next to transit, easier to get around
- 3/5
Great area! Room was very small, but I guess that's par for the course in NYC. Staff was helpful but it's clear this hotel is understaffed as a whole.
- 2/5
Cleanliness needs major improvement. First time in NYC, was worried about having a low floor room but that was fine, rather waking up to the sound of machines (laundry?) running within the facility. Carpets in the room were disgusting along with strong stench. Front desk personnel were nice with holding our bags while away.
- 5/5
Staff was great,
- 5/5
Showers should be working properly
- 4/5
Room had an unpleasant smell and AC unit was very loud. It was doable as I didn’t spend much time in the room.
- 5/5
It was good service just takes a while for the security deposit to come back into my account
- 5/5
Incredible place to stay!!
- 5/5
The smell of the lobby was fantastic and a great first start of the stay at the hotel
- 1/5
The issues continued throughout my stay. The hotel was out of basic amenities like coffee and creamer. On my last night, I was woken up at 2 a.m. by excessive noise from the room next door. I had to call the front desk twice before someone came up to attend. The noise persisted throughout the whole night. I would not recommend this property to anyone given my experience.

Excelente ubicación, encantada y buen servicio. Cerca de todo y muchas opciones de alimentos y entretenimiento. Gracias por todo, nos vemos pronto.
- 3/5
The room didn’t have microwave or the refrigerator which most of the stays now are equipped with. Also there was very little extra space in the room.
- 3/5
No airport shuttles or free breakfast
- 5/5
This hotel is a hidden gem. An excellent value in the financial district with easy access to so many subway lines you can quickly get anywhere. Rooms are smallish but comfortable. Great beds. Really a great value.
- 4/5
Pretty small as others have said, but it was in such a convenient location that was no problem for us. We got back around 11PM twice and midnight once and it felt safe enough to walk around that area. Not a ton of enthusiasm from night desk person (but that's a hard role). Great energy from all other staff we interacted with.
- 5/5
It was quiet, clean, and very peaceful. Would recommend to anyone.
- 5/5
Great location! Felt safe and enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
The main thing is the location, with the hotel being surrounded by restaurants and thinhs to see and do. It also helps the place iis clean and well kept.
- 3/5
Room had torn wallpaper and blackout shade was broken, when pulled down did not block light and office across alley was able to see in room, had to place coat hanger against shade to push back against window for privacy
- 2/5
Kind of a sh*thole, to be honest. Carpet worn down, the bathroom door was all moldy and gross, the ice machine was broken, and the TVs have no way to watch external streaming or gaming devices (and the desk clerk was super-rude when I asked about it). It's the cheapest option in the area, but boy oh boy do you get what you paid for.
- 2/5
Ac regulated to only run 15 mins shower didn’t work no fridge tv didn’t work
- 2/5
Rooms were very small and crampy (understood as it is NY). No fridge or microwave. Shower water pressure was pathetic and not very clean. Toilet bowl was very small, kid size. Very difficult for a grown man to do business. Ice machine was broken. No breakfast, not even coffee.
- 2/5
I did not like the smell of the room, especially when the AC was off. It smelled a bit like urine. It’s a bit old and run down.
- 4/5
room is comfortable
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable, and located in heart of financial district. I had two rooms for two nights, everything was perfect except one room did not have toilet paper. This is why they are not getting 5 star.
- 4/5
Other notes - rooms did have a mildew smell, water damage in the bathroom, no security in the lobby.
- 5/5
Rooms were roomy and the location was great. Metro just a 5 min walk and food places all over.
- 5/5
Todo Perfecto
- 3/5
No refrigerator and microwave in the room which is at least basics for a 2 star hotel .
- 4/5
The friendly and welcoming staff ensured our stay was a peasant one.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Had a nice stay in general.
- 2/5
We stayed there for two nights. Not so many amenities they didn’t have much there! My sister left an item there we called the housekeeping tried to leave a message the mailed box is full cannot accept more message. Then call the guest service tales to somebody. She took down the information and said that she would forward that to the housekeeping manager. It has been two days nobody contacted me. Holiday Inn management you guys need to do better. Very disappointed. In a biggest city reputable hotel with that price I paid I didn’t expect I received that kind of lousy services. Not again!
- 2/5
My room was humid and muggy. The AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep. The hotel is dated. Walking through the halls felt like walking through a prison. The vending machines are on the second floor only, shoved in a small and dirty room next to the housekeeping facilities. The hotel just felt dirty. I didn’t want to walk around my room without shoes on. Small crowded lobby, rickety elevators…not a pleasant experience overall. Joke’s on me because it wasn’t even cheap.
- 5/5
Very clean. Friendly staff. Walking distance to Statue of Liberty and 9/11 memorial museum.
- 4/5
They were painting the lobby and it was a strong smell. Small, dark rooms. Could use a makeover. Great location.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful!
- 3/5
Stayed 3 day no trash bags only changed towels 1 time while in our room. Room was small and no way to heat up food or keep food cold. Shower had build up in it. Toliet had to flush 2 to 3 times to get a actual flush.
- 4/5
Front desk very helpful and nice
- 5/5
Very quiet, nice employees and a really great location
- 5/5
I liked the overall hotel. No critiques to give
- 5/5
Perfect hotel in the heart of the city
- 4/5
This is a great place to stay. The location is amazing, the staff is friendly, rooms were clean and quiet. They go above and beyond to make it a great stay.
- 4/5
The sheets were very nice. The bathroom was very nice. The staff was super nice
- 5/5
Business trip - good location. Hotel was decent
- 5/5
Great location and proper amenities for a stay in NYC at right price.
- 5/5
About the room, I had a two bed room. Both were very very comfortable. The room was quiet at all times, great to rest. What I really don’t like that much was the size ot the bathroom. But that is the average size of the bathrooms in Manhattan. At least the bathroom wasn’t a shared one. The personnel all the time were friendly and able to help. Overall I recommend this hotel.
- 2/5
Cleanliness of room can be better, the towels had hair and a lot lint when you shake it. The bed sheet has strands of hair here and there and some faded stains but still visible when you look. The bathroom shower water pressure was really weak and water from the shower head was not warm. My main complaint is the snack that they said they provide in the morning in lieu of the breakfast because the restaurant is under construction. They said they'll have some small pastry and warm drinks (coffee and warm water for tea and hot cocoa) until 9am. We went down to the lobby at around 8:45, and the coffee and water were both empty. When other guests also inquired about it, the employees (on both days of my stay) just dismissed the inquiry and said "it's only 10 minutes till 9". Seriously, if they don't want to provide those amenities, they don't have to claim that they do when they don't keep things in stock for their guests until the time they said they'll have the drinks and pastry out. 8:45am is not 9am. Their service attitude is why I'm only giving them a two stars.
- 2/5
This is the first holiday inn that I stayed at and its pretty disappointing. It looked really old and damaged. The shower courting was ripped, they painted the shower floor and paint staines were left everywhere. The front desk was not so polite with the exception of a young lady that was there on Saturday morning. The whole floor smelled like pot.
- 3/5
Great location. Easy to get to all transportation. Tons of food options. Hotel room is so small you will not want to spend any time there except to sleep, but it was clean.
- 1/5
The room smell horrible and not cleaned. Old furniture’s. The smoking smell was awful.
- 1/5
Dirty, poorly decorated, falling apart.
- 5/5
Great space and comfort in NY for the price
- 3/5
Good location, facilities aren’t in the best condition and we were offered free breakfast and we ended up having “to go snacks”
- 4/5
The hotel experience was good. Friendly staff. It was a small room, but it was clean. We were out all-day and into the evening discovering NY, so it served the purpose of a restful night. The hotel was at the heart of many sites and centrally located. There were plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, so our stay was enjoyable.
- 3/5
Restaurant was closed. Morning grab and go was a joke. Each guest was allowed on really, really tiny muffin. Rooms were very small. No refrigerator in the room was an issue.
- 4/5
Courteous and friendly front desk staff, easy check in process.
- 4/5
The room was very good for NYC. Clean. Space on both sides of the bed. The staff, especially Antonio, were very helpful. The free breakfast of okay muffins and coffee was disappointing and is only available for a short time. They ran out of caffeinated coffee for the Keurig machine in the rooms. The gym is tiny. Location is great. The price was right. I would recommend
- 2/5
In the heart of financial district. Small tight rooms, friendly staff.
- 2/5
This hotel needs some serious updating and cleaning. The girl at the front desk was very unfriendly when checking in. You can hear EVERYTHING (we were on the second floor). The ice machine was broken, the restaurant was closed, but they did give you a bottle of water (limit 2 per room).
- 4/5
No refrigerator, no microwave in the room, I don't see breakfast available, no pool, no jacuzzi. Location was good.
- 5/5
great stay
- 3/5
We've been on cruise ships with bigger rooms.
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be better maintained. There were a lot of things visibly broken and dusty.
- 4/5
Overall the property was acceptable and would stay here again
- 5/5
It's a nice little hotel right in the heart of a bustling trendy neighborhood. We enjoyed Joe's pizza, just a couple blocks away, and it was an easy trip to the cruise port. The only issue was that the continental breakfast was only tiny muffins, with a sign asking us to take only one. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Free water and food!
- 2/5
Customer service was excellentl but the rooms where extremely small. You could barely fit through the hallways. The bathroom was less than 70 sq ft with a shower only. Room much smaller than pictured. Resturant /Bar was listed when booking but closed and under construction.
- 4/5
Also try the mango date latte from Matto coffee and the lox bagel from Apollo!
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
It was next to a Dunkin. I loved it. The room was clean and neat.
- 4/5
Nice stay close to Pace univ
- 4/5
It was nice
- 4/5
The Staff really makes this a great property to stay making up for the broken ice machine 😊 and other mishaps like when entering/ exiting the elevators the area around the front desk is always crowded. Overall it was a great stay…..staff is really helpful and accommodating and they make this property and enjoyable stay.
- 1/5
I had reserved two rooms with two beds and hotel only had one room available. They did nothing to accommodate our stay and said the problems was with hotels.com. I chatted with hotels.com which is very frustrating to do and they did nothing to accommodate us either. I am never using hotels.com ever again.
- 4/5
Stay again.
- 4/5
The staff was great and helpful. The rooms are small, but I’m from the south and I know space is limited there. We were only allowed one ice bucket per day and two bottles of water for the four people in our room. Breakfast was very slim and basically just plain coffee with an apple. Again, the m from the south and used to space and elaborate breakfasts. Just different feel m what I’m used to at a holiday inn, but a very convenient spot with a small market and a wine and liquor store right around the corner. Convenient to the subway. If you’re looking for comfort, max two to a room.
- 5/5
I stayed here in march and it was in a great area to walk and explore the financial district. Everyone was very friendly and the room was amazing. Not a single complaint.
- 2/5
We had to call to get our trash taken out. They didn’t make the beds one afternoon and then the TV didn’t work.
- 1/5
The hotel room is small and the bathroom is so old and unusable.
