Reviews
The hotel is generally praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff. However, its location in an industrial area and limited breakfast options are frequent criticisms.
- Clean, comfortable rooms with modern amenities
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Location in an industrial area, far from town
- Limited breakfast options and late serving time

Wood floors. Comfortable king size bed for 2 people. Our room was close to the elevator. Housekeeping service was slow doing minimal like emptying trash.

Was very clean, comfortable. The a/c did not work properly. The street noise and sirens all night were very loud.
- 4.5/5
Located near 8th Ave (In Brooklyn's Chinatown) and great Puebla-area Mexican food, as well. Neighborhood is quiet & safe. Staff was pleasant & helpful (even by email before arrival). Room and public areas were very clean & well maintained. Quite a good breakfast, too, with a nice variety of hot and cold items. Oh...and 24hr coffee in the lobby! Really, just minor stuff: No way to pay for late check out (although one extra hour was free). Not much room for luggage in the lobby, especially when there are many guests going to the cruise port. Also, the USB outlets in the room didn't work. Not the hotel's fault, but parking is an issue, as others have mentioned. $33+ for a car and $41+ for a minivan is extortion, but the parking is right next door and the staff were nice, at least.

- 4/5
Hotel is overall good but lacks basic amenities like coffee machine water bottle
- 4/5
I liked that it was 1/2 a block from the 9th ave subway station which made the trip to Manhattan easy.

Hotel was ok, rooms are modern a typical New York size (ie small). I experienced a security issue with the front desk . I returned late at night and my keycard wasn't working. The lady at the front desk asked for my room number and made me another card without checking my id or even asking to confirm my name. I called her on it and she simply shrugged her shoulder with indifference. I didn't feel very confident knowing the front desk would have made a key for any room I asked for.
- 4/5
friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Ok
- 4/5
No gym, the buffet is basically in the lobby. It would be nice if they had even a single room dedicated to some weights and a treadmill. Otherwise nice to have full length windows and lots of sun in Brooklyn hotels.
- 5/5
The staff was courteous and helpful. Reminder signs were in the common areas and room to let you know to call or ask for assistance of any kind at no extra cost which was helpful for me to organize my ride to the airport when I was leaving early in the morning.
- 5/5
Great breakfast and kind staff. Good amenities. A nice space to land after a long day in the city.
- 2/5
Once this matter was corrected by the front desk, we were directed to our room. During our stay, the water in the bathroom sink appeared milky/cloudy until we turned the faucet in a particular direction. This did not make us feel comfortable with brushing our teeth as we were not sure if the water was safe to use in this state.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Clean room. Will stay here again.

Second time staying here staff is Great. Very close to train and bus.
- 2/5
The staff was the worst part of my stay , not understanding , guy lied and told me they would cancel if I didn’t arrive by 6 because I didn’t pay yet and I told them I was on the way but when I called back reservation told me they can’t do that. Asked for late check out and they made every excuse under the sun to not give it just for them to not even come to clean the room till 1 anyway. No parking , horrible breakfast. All I can say is the place is clean and modern
- 5/5
Property was surprisingly new and well kept, staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet rooms. Very comfortable. Staff are nice, helpful. Have stayed here before & will definitely stay here agush.

- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and extremely friendly, breakfast was good, area is close to Subway station and there were some excellent coffee spots and restaurants near by! We will definitely be returning the next time we visit Brooklyn!
- 1/5
50F in the room, we slept with our coats on. No attendant in the lobby, no answer to multiple calls to the front desk.
- 5/5
I had breakfast one morning and it was fresh and delicious. There is a coffee and tea station 24hrs in the lobby and staff is very helpful and friendly at the front desk!
- 5/5
Room was fabulous we stayed 2 nights for work amenities were great room clean and breakfast was great also. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
clean room, nice view.
- 5/5
I really enjoyed the breakfast - it was tasty and convenient. The room was clean, which I really appreciated.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was really nice
- 4/5
Breakfast was good A hot breakfast with cheese omelet, home fries, pork sauasage and turkey sausage was well maintained by the Breakfast emlpoyee. She had a positive and friendly service. It's a NY hotel (small rooms) but expected. Very clean hotel. Parking is from a private parking lot next door. The cost is almost $42. It's convenient and again in NY the cost is expected.
- 5/5
honestly really liked this hotel, clean room and very nice. Although my view wasn't the best, can't complain about that. Breakfast was very good, a lot of different options. Staff was amazing too, helpful and very nice. All in all I can safely safe I would come again.
- 4/5
All was fine. We really appreciated that they allowed us to check into our hotel room a little early!
- 5/5
The hotel was good, I will definitely recommend it. Free breakfast was good too.
- 5/5
it was safe and quiet.
- 3/5
Room was clean however pretty small considering the price you’re paying. the water in the shower was not hot especially in the mornings. Location is good for public transport but parking is a nightmare around there.
- 3/5
Beds were comfortable, but shower was barely warm and keurig didn’t work. Pretty good breakfast selection included.
- 4/5
The room was almost spotless, little amenities cause some of them were broken, and the staff were great.
- 4/5
Clean room, courteous staff
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful, the breakfast was quite good and very convenient as well as having parking attached to the hotel
- 4/5
Staff were very helpful, conditions were good. Some spots in the corners were just a tad dirty but otherwise very good.
- 4/5
Room was nice but the shower and the mini fridge leaked
- 4/5
Good Hotel. Nice location. Close to the subway. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was a typical breakfast. Overall, I'm very happy with my stay here.
- 5/5
I would stay again
- 1/5
The parking attendant was rude. Breakfast got over well within time.

- 5/5
Clean, nice staff, good breakfast
- 5/5
Pleasant stay
- 3/5
It was Loud at night so I had a hard time sleeping. Especially because I was on the C level. all the rooms are by the elevators so you can hear workers going up and down the hall and slamming doors at late and early hours. The hallway smelled of bleach through out as well. Apart from that the room was clean. It was small but clean.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable hotel, friendly accommodating staff.
- 3/5
The room was clean. The area is safe, but industrial and there are people working outside, dragging garbage cans and making noise, starting at 3 AM. I didn't sleep well as a result. There is nothing to walk to really, but it is very close to the 9th Ave subway stop. On Sunday morning at 8 AM, they ran out of coffee, which I think is pretty inexcuseable. And the breakfast attendant told me she was putting decaf in the regular coffee canister, without telling anyone else or putting a sign up. I did complain to the person at the front desk about this and he said "there's nothing I can do about that". So, probably there were lots of tired, headachey guests who were duped into drinking decaf that they though was regular coffee. Overall, not a great experience for us, but at least the room was clean.
- 4/5
Friendly and informative staff. The room was very clean
- 5/5
Nice spot near everything
- 5/5
Front desk people were very nice and polite!
- 4/5
The hotel was in a bit of an odd place next to the train yard for the subway, but super close to the subway, and a safe family neighborhood.
- 4/5
It was a good experience, just the location was a little bit off
- 4/5
The only thing that gave me trouble was the tv wasnt connected to wifi so I was not able to cast anything from my phone.
- 4/5
Good
- 1/5
They give me room full with sperm I ask it on other room but he told me cannot give me different room because I stay for just the night I went there with my wife and we just no stay that hotel I just make checking and check out they show too give me money back
- 3/5
Staff wasn’t welcoming.
- 5/5
The location for us! Very convenient to the venue .
- 4/5
Hotel was decent inside...
- 5/5
Location is about a block from a train stop which is convenient, room was a good size and checking in was easy. Room was clean, Dove toiletries were provided. I'd definitely stay again
- 4/5
The hotel was clean. Parking is ran by a differnt company anr it is vallet parking
- 5/5
Highly recommend.
- 4/5
It was a nice property abd the room was sufficient. Unfortunately, there were no comfortable chairs in the room. You had to sit on the bed or on those very small insafe little seats. The truck noise at 5 in the morning was annoying and there is no convenient parking. The garage next door is expensive. Not sure if i would stay at that property again.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel, all of the employees were nice and professional. I had a great stay with me family.
- 3/5
Street noise is quite loud.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable
- 3/5
The room was very cold. The staff came and adjusted the thermostat to make it warmer so I could sleep, but the thermostat was not kicking in. A room change was not possible because they were totally booked. There is nothing worse than taking a hot shower only to come out to a cold room. I could not sleep, the sheets were cold, and it was impossible to get comfortable. I got up in the morning with a runny nose and sneezing. I've stay at this hotel numerous times with no issues. It's unfortunate that this visit did not work for me.
- 4/5
OTOH it was pretty quiet. The staff are nice. Rooms were good. Comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was decent. There is a subway stop just down the street, 9th Ave. It’s not clear when you arrive but you can pull into the adjacent garage and park there for $33 per night. Not bad really Once we got past the shabby surroundings we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

- 3/5
Cellar is not a place to stay,it was smelly, room was so small
- 5/5
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
Convenient parking, but a bit expensive
- 4/5
Convenience
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and pretty quiet. Parking garage was next door and convenient. I enjoyed my stay!
- 1/5
The customer service is the worst. People either in reception or also in the kitchen they are not kind at all. They are working as a machine, not kind, not nothing.
- 2/5
Room kept making consistent noises throughout the entire day. Even when I told housekeeping to at I did not service they were aggressive to still want to service my room. NO MEANS NO. They even came in to my room unannounced while I was sleeping
- 5/5
One of the best hotel in Brooklyn. Spotless clean and beautiful room.
- 4/5
View from the back of the property needs improvement. Windows need better noise control so the train noise is not heard at night.
- 4/5
Good specially having the station so close to the hotel
- 5/5
The hotel itself was really nice and the staff was great. The lobby felt a little small but all in all good. Most of what I didn't love was just the area wasn't very aesthetically pleasing. Nothing you can really do about that.
- 5/5
Hotel is great and so is the staff. Surrounding area not so much
- 4/5
Good overall for a quick stay
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Excellent clean hotel
- 3/5
The hotel is nice overall but there are a few things to know. The rooms are small, it was just me so it was fine but if another person was in there it would've felt crowded. The parking lot next door is $33, not $30 like the hotel page says. There is little to no neighborhood parking. Various parts of my room needed attention, the deadbolt screws were loose, the toilet paper holder screws were loose, the door sweep to the bathroom door was falling off. Pros: the bed was very comfortable, breakfast and coffee were nice, they have dove brand products in the bathroom and the stand in shower is great!
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
good
- 4/5
The parking instructions was unclear while the parking availability is marked in the description. There is a public parking garage next to the hotel, but I didn't get any guidance regarding this.
- 5/5
I like everything just need parking for your guest.
- 2/5
I check in around 8pm. Staff check us in room 105. I asked if there any other room. He inform all the room was booked. Room 105 right by the lobby. It was a little noisy in the late evening. Around 6:30am it was very noisy that it woke me up. Not a pleasant stay for me.

- 5/5
Loved the facilities and attentive service provided by staff.
- 1/5
There was noise all night. I got no sleep. I ended up missing my interview. There was no Wi-Fi. The shower head was dripping all night and there was no heat
- 5/5
Was awesome
- 5/5
This hotel was convenient because it was right near a train station and bus stop and corner store. I was able to get where I needed to be. I had no issues with the staff and they cleaned our room when asked and gave fresh towels. The breakfast was a plus! I wish the lobby and actual hotel room was more roomy but other than that I would come here again.
- 4/5
It was close to the city
- 5/5
I needed somewhere to crash for the night and this location had something for me as soon as i booked while places said tomorrow so i appreciate them for accommodating my request at such a short notice.

Nice and clean hotel. Welcoming, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and it was really clean
- 4/5
Attendant was available 24x7, Access to room was smooth, Room was comfortable but small, 2 queen beds seemed like full/double, but were clean and comfy. Ran out of hot water in the shower for about 10 minutes. Breakfast service was excellent with many options, hot and cold, available, and every add-on for coffee and tea you can imagine.
- 5/5
Price was what sold us.
- 1/5
On site parking was a key reason for choosing this hotel, but it wasn't available...even though it was displayed ont the Expedia app as an included amenity of the hotel. The valet parking had to be purchased separately from another company that didn’t seem trustworthy.
- 5/5
Friendly check in. Coffee in lobby 24/7. Nice small modern rooms. Nice breakfast. Not a huge choice for restaurants close by but we found a cute new brunch place that just opened called Parleys. The food was great and service outstanding. Definitely recommend hotel and neighborhood restaurant.
- 4/5
Hotel con estación del tren cerca, tranquilo y con desayuno incluido.
- 5/5
Great customer service even though front desk was dealing with a rude client prior to checking in, he was calm and professional and very apologetic about the drama, room was very clean and breakfast had many options.
- 4/5
Good location for our trip, only negative was our room looked over subway tracks which made it noisy when trying to sleep
- 4/5
Check-in and out was a breeze, and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We found the room to be a little on the small side for two persons, but what do you expect in New York. Everything in the room was good, and it was equipped with a TV, safe, iron &ironing board, hairdryer, microwave, coffee, tea, and mini fridge. Ice was on the ground floor, but the hotel is small so it was no issue for us. the bathroom was very clean, and everything worked properly. They gave us more than enough towels and toiletries to last the five days we were there. You're literally 4-5 mins walk away from a MTA (train) station, where we hopped on the D train, which will take you on 6th Ave to Herald Sq., Bryant Pk., or Rockefeller, without having to transfer. Of course there are many more stops on the line as well. Overall, I was happy with my choice, given my purpose in Brooklyn specifically.
- 5/5
Room is big and clean.
- 5/5
The staff is very friendly and approachable and always willing to accommodate you to ensure your stay enjoyable. This was my 3rd time staying there and I've never had a bad experience.

- 5/5
The property was very clean. The staff were friendly & helpful. Except for Manuel he ca be a pest (sorry, not sorry)
- 4/5
The hotel is located right around the corner from the D train , this makes it a very convenient location. There is a deli that’s open day and night where you can pick up dinner and drinks and snacks late at night . The hotel is relatively new and so it’s a nice facility, the breakfast offerings were just not for me, pancakes and other stuff like muffins and bananas. The cleanliness could be better in the rooms , the air conditioning didn’t seem to work too good . I would stay here again but would be concerned with the air conditioning.
- 5/5
Wish there was more parking
- 5/5
It was great.
- 5/5
This was my 2nd time staying here as a staycation for my birthday. I was super comfortable & at peace. It’s a convenient location. The food options were great. The property is super clean & tidy. The bed was huge & comfortable. The rooms are very spacious. The bathrooms are great. The room could have better lighting for photo taking though! lol. This a great pls e to stay. I love that the hand soap, hand lotion, body wash, shampoo & conditioner is Dove!!!
- 5/5
No frills and clean hotel. Area is little funky
