Reviews
The hotel is generally clean with friendly staff, but some guests have complained about small rooms and bathrooms, as well as issues with elevators. The location is praised for its accessibility to restaurants, subway, and Brooklyn's Botanical Garden.

Before arriving, I called the hotel because we were driving over 8 hours in a pickup truck and wanted information about valet parking. The representative was friendly, provided clear instructions, and let us know that the street directly in front of the hotel was under construction, requiring us to approach from a different street. While I appreciated the heads-up, it made me wonder what would have happened if I hadn't called ahead, as there didn't appear to be any communication about this beforehand. Check-in was less impressive. The front desk agent, Jaden, was extremely soft-spoken, and I had to repeatedly ask him to speak up. He seemed annoyed by this, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I understand that some people are naturally quiet, but in a customer-facing role, clear communication is important. We were also given very little information about the property—no directions to the elevators, pool, or other amenities. I've stayed at many hotels, and a brief overview of the property is usually standard practice. The room itself was spacious, especially considering the Downtown Brooklyn location, and the view was great. The bed was incredibly comfortable and was easily one of the highlights of the stay. However, we were told the room had been newly renovated, and it didn't feel fully finished. Ther

The hotel was clean and so was the room I did Not like that the parking to the hotel was $50 per night....no discount. 2nd -The customer service of the parking attendants were disappointing 3rd- While the front desk was ok, the dress code needs like support. All and I mean all the ladies were dress with their top ABOVE their belly buttons. Unprofessional

Location was good. Run down. Bedding was not nice- 2 sheets and a down layer in between that did not have a cover on it...felt dirty. Rooms were not cleaned throughout the stay and when I asked, they said you had to put in a request to have your room tidied up.
- 3/5
The stay was ok. Very confusing regarding the parking and the breakfast package, however, breakfast was good. Desk staff was friendly and valet staff was very friendly. Room was in need of ascetic and maintenance upkeep. The room was clean though. When we arrived, one elevator was not working and the other was over worked and the lobby was very warm. I would rate it a 3, not for staff reasons or breakfast, but all others.

Good location. Easy garage/valet parking. Comfortable bed. Could see Statue of Liberty from room window. Easy check-in, easy check-out. Garage valet scraped my car against the white painted garage wall. I left early, and it went unnoticed until I stopped several hours into the drive home. The first room assigned me was fine, except the glass shower door hinge was broken and would not open more than three inches. The front desk quickly changed my room, no problem. The floor was quiet, until the 2AM late-night party people, and angry drunk folk. It was loud until 5 AM. (This happened both nights of my stay.) The last morning, laying in bed reading, a dark blotch caught my eye *under*/behind the headboard mirror. It appeared to be a huge blood splatter - think gunshot splatter. It is, to date, the most disturbing stain. Why it was left there is a mind bender. How it got there is unthinkable. The photos I've included give a partial view of behind the headboard mirror, which is not directly against the wall.

It was clean. Rooms too small. The morning we departed we did not receive our 2:00am wake up call as requested, We did not receive our car pick up for 4:00am as promised and requested. I had to ask the attendant for my check out receipt as she was very slow along with an unfriendly attitude. There was no one available at the front desk when got downstairs. We had to keep calling out for an attendant. The bathroom sink in our room was cracked at the bottom. One of the lights on the side of the bed was dysfunctional.

Bed was quite used and had some sunken parts from body weight. Carpet was a bit nappy on the feet, so I put down a towel to step onto. Doors closing sound is loud even if you try to close it slowly. This is for all rooms, so I could hear all neighboring doors close. I didn't mention it due to staying only one night. If I was staying longer, I would have asked to change rooms. Blackout shades were good. But it is on a busy street and there were loud car alarms in the middle of the night. Great location is great near lot of subway stops. Good bagel shop a few doors down.
- 3/5
My room was clean. I enjoy my time and stay. Front desk staff was nice and prompt with me. I did change my room once because I felt that it was small but, that was fine. Valet services are definitely effective seeing that parking is hard to find. The view was beautiful in the morning depending on where your room was located. Construction is being conducted on the last floor if you are looking for peace your best bet is to stay on middle floors. Overall good experience.

Big comfy bed, friendly staff, great location The fact there was no remote in my room so I had to sleep with the air on and it was freezing.. I couldn’t sleep because it was so loud and I had no way of turning it off until the next day when the engineer came and told me there was no remote in the room, probably the housekeepers he said - then he brought in a remote and switched it off. I use a cross trainer every morning and the only 1 available was broken for the 2 days stay. I altered them that the right pedal was broken on day 1 but it remained unfixed.

I had reserved an accessible room for my mother but it was not available. The hotel gave us a room with walk-in shower which was manageable for her knee but the shower water leaked to create a big pool on the floor. My room had a bath tub but the drain plug was broken so it barely held bath water.
- 4/5
We had a single King room. It was very clean with a view of the street. The shades blocked out the light at night adequately. The bathroom was clean. The bath had a small window that opened and I liked that as it kept the room fresh. The WiFi was good and easy to access. The woman at the front desk was very pleasant. There were two outlets in the bathroom and one didn't work, but the other one did and I was able to use the hair dryer that was provided.

Chose a room with a view of the Verrazano Bridge (if you squint you can see it) but the bonus was that if you looked far to the right, you can also see the Statue of Liberty waving at you. It was a wonderful location and it is near numerous restaurants and numerous subway lines.

We had a fantastic stay. The restaurant was amazing. We literally went every single day. My only issue was the fact that the ice machines did not work and the staff did not know which floors did work. I had tried four different floors before I found an ice machine that actually worked. We went to the Brooklyn Paramount, which was a five minute walk. It was a five minute walk to the subway the bagel place on the corner was fantastic. There was a Goodwill and a Dunkin around the block. The valet staff were awesome and that process was exceptionally easy if I go back to Brooklyn again I would 1000% stay here.

The location to the subway for access to Manhattan was great. The mattress was dipped on one side and needed changing. The coffee was restocked daily but not all parts so I had to find sugar and stirrers myself. The elevators were disgusting with dirt and mess on the floor and walls. They just needed a daily clean. The room lighting was odd with bedside switches only to one side of the bed which was the dipped mattress side!

The room was not clean. The bed seemed mostly fine but when I pulled back a couple of sheets I found one with lots of different hairs. Everything just seemed like it was minimally clean and it didn’t take extra careful inspection to see that. The bathroom has hair on the shower shelves and the floor had a clump of hair behind the door. The carpet clearly wasn’t vacuumed well and the door handles looked gross. The staff were perfectly pleasant and it was a convenient spot. Check in and check out were hassle free but the cleanliness was a significant issue. So much so I had to give such a low rating. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Easily walkable in 5 minutes to Nevins Street subway station. Staff courteous and helpful at reception desk and housekeeping. Convenient adjacent restaurant accessible directly from lobby. Snacks and toiletries available next to reception desk. Negative: Our 6th floor room's furniture and built-ins were a bit worn out and did not match the floorplan layout shown on the door. The room had obviously been converted from a single king-size bed room to a two double-size bed room (not queens). However, the desk staff indicated all the bedrooms were being entirely renovated, currently (April 2026) doing so on the uppermost floor (13th? 14th?), then will be moving down the building one floor at a time. So it may be some time before all the room are refurbished.

The next morning when my sister went to get the car before 10 am, they said it wasn’t there!! They said they moved it to another location across town and that my sister had to go get it herself unless we wanted to wait until 1:00 when they would get it. When she asked how far away it was, the attendant said, “google it.” They moved the car to the other side of a marathon that was happening! All the roads to get there were either blocked or bumper to bumper traffic! My sister literally had to make her way through the runners to get to the car! After 2 and a half hours, waiting for her to come pick the rest of us and our luggage up, we decided to walk the mile with my elderly mother and all the luggage to get to the car. All this and the hotel had the gall to tell me that the garage parking has nothing to do with the hotel, even though the payment for it would come out of my security deposit with the hotel. In the end, they said they would refund the parking but I have yet to see it on my credit card statement. How can this even be legal?

The sink was clogged, I booked a room in the non-smoking area, but the corridor of that area, it smells a lot like a cigarette, the package does not include breakfast, the parking lot has an additional value and despite requesting half an hour in advance, I was given at the time, I think there are better options for that value I pay for and with breakfast and parking included. Definitely a bad experience. .

Overall, a comfortable stay with good cleanliness and courteous staff, but there is definitely room for improvement when it comes to following through on guest requests.

Front desk staff were rude and dismissive. Rooms were terrible. The bed was insanely TERRIBLE. It creaked and sounded like it was going to break. The mattress was full of lumps and sinking holes. Can't believe this was acceptable in any way. Bathroom was the only descent part. Yet there were no hand towels, ever. And getting extra towels was like pulling teeth. There was no option to fold out suitcase. Front desk said they have NO LUGGAGE RACKS! So it was a miserable stay and uncomfortable stay. The shared diner's staff was terrible also. We were a large group and the waiter filled our coffee cups out of courtesy but when we paid the bill they charge us for each fill! They never asked and just filled the cup and never told us it was charged like that. What a bullsh*t ripoff!! The waiter was extremely rude. Never will I ever stay at this place again. Don't believe any reviews that state 10/10...they are lies and no doubt paid reviewers. What a joke!! Such a huge REGRET!

My stay at your hotel was horrible. The customer service was horrible no eye contact barely spoke when asked a question was told to wait till morning for the next shift to arrive they will have my answers I drove around for 30+ minutes looking for parking because I was told it was full when it wasn’t they just didn’t want to do they job. Spoke to someone else who then told me to fill out a paper and leave my key. When I also asked about the pool I was just told to go down stairs and see if it’s available because the pool gets rented out. I have never been treated like I don’t exist very unacceptable. I have paid almost 600 and a 3 hour drive to not feel comfortable. I really hope you do another training on your customer service with your workers just horrible.

The desk chair was absolutely unacceptable. It was so worn and damaged that it looked like something pulled off the street. Management needs to remove it immediately because it reflects a complete lack of basic standards. The AC/heating unit was essentially useless, constantly swinging between freezing and overheated with no consistency. I had to open the window just to make the room tolerable. On top of that, the room had a strong, unpleasant odor upon arrival, as if it had been “cleaned” with old, dirty rags. The towels were no better. Several were visibly stained despite being presented as clean, and I had to request replacements multiple times—completely unacceptable for any hotel. The elevator is also in serious disrepair and does not inspire confidence or safety. The only positive aspect of this stay was the staff, who were friendly and professional despite the conditions they’re clearly working under. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, not my usual business travel. I chose not to go back and forth with management because after arriving with all my luggage—without even the basic convenience of a luggage cart—I was too exhausted to deal with switching rooms or escalating complaints. That said, the condition of this room and the overall property is unacceptable. Guests should not be paying to stay in an environment like this. I will not be returning

This Hotel was not the best but it was convenient! Location was close to nearby stores & subway. I did not like that there wasn’t a smart TV and room service was tardy I literally had to air dry because I realized my towels were gone and I called room service like 3 times to remind them and hours later came my towels. The pool area is MID nothing like what u expect from pictures yet I did enjoy the hot tub for a while before I was told I had to leave due to “swimming lessons”. The Downstairs restaurant was a nice highlight as the food was good. Id probably never stay here again.

The lobby and room was beautiful and the pricing is very low considering the area and proximity to all the nice places in Brooklyn. I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will definitely be staying again soon.
- 4/5
I had a nice stay.
- 1/5
Horrible & still haven’t received my 150 back
- 5/5
Convenient and safe location. The staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Everything was very nice, there were only a few minor inconveniences like the microwave plug didn’t have a
- 5/5
Loved the room
- 4/5
The property itself needs an update but overall it was a good stay. Great to have parking (covered at that in NY) Walking distance to a lot of places.
- 2/5
The furnitures was terrible.
- 4/5
I came home for the weekend...seen family. I booked my stay at this hotel because I liked everything about it... the hotel itself(stayed here every time I came home), the location, accessibility to subways, buses, restaurants and shopping. The only drawback was gone of the check-in personal wash rude. Prior to me coming to the hotel, I called to confirm my room and additional fees. I wanted to interact with the staff member I spoke to. When I inquired about him, I was met with an attitude. I spoke to night manager who was courteous and understanding. I will Always stay at this hotel because of the ease in making reservations, accessibility and the staff. I would recommend.
- 1/5
When you walk in the front door you can see this hotel needs a major renovation. When i got to my floor the hall reeked of urine. I found a spot of blood in the sheets . The wall and desk were scratched. The chair they had was damaged. There is no customer service as i was met with attitude about my complaints. Worst hotel experience ever. They dont give washcloths they use microfiber towels for cleaning. The heat didnt work. Just all around Crappy
- 3/5
The room was an OK condition. The staff was courteous. The drain in the shower worked very poorly as I showered the tub filled up with water and slowly ran out.. The chair in the room was rather old where it was shedding as exterior cover.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 3/5
The room was clean and nice, but the lobby smelled overwhelmingly like stale cigarettes and was kind of gross.
- 3/5
The room was nice. But the tv did not work, no signal. I told the desk people twice and no one came. No ice bucket, reminded them twice. Finally i received a bucket and no ice. The ice machine did not work, i was told to go yo different floors which i was not doing as a guest th
- 4/5
The room was perfect size and the bed was comfortable; one of the standouts was the view. Room temperature was okay, questions were answered, and pricing was reasonable. Showers could of been bigger and the water temperature was lukewarm during a period when it would have been preferred to be warmer.
- 5/5
They took good care of us
- 1/5
Bed bugs and messy rooms. I got bitten by bed bugs.
- 5/5
Beautiful and comfortable room. Great beds with crisp clean bedding. The pool was heated to perfection and hot tub was nice and hot. Steam room was an unexpected surprise. The sauna room was not on during our visit but we had plenty to enjoy. While we didn’t eat at the hotel, I did take a peek and it looked nice. Great location and great price!

Too, and staff
- 1/5
There was no towels wash cloths and our heat completely stopped working smh worse bday ever
- 2/5
Broken fridge door, broken toilet paper holder, ice machine didn’t work, and room wasn’t all that clean
- 1/5
I also asked several time whatbtime was the pool open either they didn't know or said to pook at the sign then was told a different time went paid for an uber dor swimming clothes was gon not an hour and all of a sudden it was closed. I purchased breakfast in my reservation and they told me it wasn't. People knocked on my door several 4x times to see if we checked out after saying we weren't Took 3 hours to get 2 washcloths
- 2/5
The room was freezing cold even with the thermostat set on 76. There was a cold breeze coming in from around the heater. The subway train runs right below the building and we could hear it in our second floor room. The room was so small we could hardly move with 2 people. It was very dark and several of the power outlets were bad. The housekeeper brought us the towels we requested at 11:10 pm.
- 2/5
Room was dirty
- 2/5
The noise level was also unacceptable, making it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. Additionally, the staff was not very helpful when I brought up these concerns, which made the experience even more frustrating. For the price paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, comfort, and customer service. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

The check staff was great. The bathroom is a bit dated and the light in the room didn't work. That's something that shouldn't and couldn't have been missed. We ended up calling the front desk to bring a lamp because we had to get ready for an event. The front desk agrees and as I'm in the shower the maintenance men come. My friend opens the door expecting a lamp and it's two men saying they are coming to fix the light. Because I am in the nude, I have to just wait in the restroom until they're finished. We were told 3-5 minutes, and it took about 20+ minutes. They were turning the breakers off and I'm just in the bathroom standing there in the pitch-black dark. We call the desk to ask why'd they say yes to a lamp and not notify us men were coming to the room. I would've waited to shower. I think it was negligent on the maid team because that's something worth mentioning! Also, rude because when we asked why we weren't notified men would be coming to the room the person on the phone goes well did they ask to come in? HUH? They said maintenance we are here to fix the light....As women things like this is just frustrating and being that the person on the phone was a woman you'd think she'd understand why we were frustrated. Also, the parking was listed as $42 a day and when I checked in it was $52. They didn't have anything online stating the price difference in cars vs. SUVs. Great location, comfy bed, great valet. But that situation was irritating.
- 2/5
The heat came out the vent cold and since it was deep in February, we were shivering. There was only one chair so when we ate he had to sit on the window ledge. It wasn’t that nice of a place.
- 5/5
The staff were very nice and helpful especially the pool guy Jaden
- 2/5
The room was so cold. It is winter in New York and for some reason the Aircon was on when I came into the room. I realised later in the night that the window had also been left open a crack, so the room was freezing cold. It was also incredibly noisy - I could hear cars honking all through the night. Otherwise the room was clean, and the shower was hot, but I wouldn't stay again.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, nice location walkable to a lot!
- 2/5
Just didn't like the way the room os set up. wasn't enuff was rags nor towels and the felt fake. Room chair leather waa peeling off and carpwt looked dirty.
- 1/5
It could’ve been a lot better I had made a comment about the mold it was completely ignored also the view of the room I requested was nice it just wasn’t the actual view I was suppose to be given given the fact I had my kids and they love bridges one dreams of working on them so that was a bummer because he would’ve enjoyed that as that’s what I had paid for talking to anyone there was just like talking to a wall pretty much valet was awesome I can say that and the rooms or hotel don’t really match how nice it really is
- 3/5
Fridge missing, the staff tried but were not able to resolve. Bedside reading lamp not working.
- 2/5
The hotel was in perfect location to Atlanta terminal, which is good if you’re coming from the airport, and perfect for downtown Brooklyn. The swimming pool was dirty and the life guards kept disappearing. If your planning to stay here, please book you will like it.
- 5/5
Clean room, convenient for brooklyn, Nic to have stem and spa but overcrowded
- 1/5
Cold water
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff
- 2/5
There are very specific hours for the pool as well which should be known prior to booking since it excludes the entire middle seven hours of the day during the week. The gym was just meh—could use a few more pieces of equipment. I left feeling like I wasted my money since I could’ve just stayed home.
- 3/5
The bathroom was not cleaned that well. There was black stuff on the corners and hairs. Our neighbors were very noisy slamming the door in and out all night to the point we couldn’t sleep. The elevator was super slow and there was only one.
- 4/5
The chair in the room has seen much better days.
- 5/5
Wonderful room, very comfortable. Amenities were great which included steam room, sauna and whirl pool hot tub. Laundry was an extra bonus. Went home with clean clothes. Breakfast has a variety of choices land very tasty.
- 3/5
Staff was great, room wasn’t the best.
- 1/5
Stained sheets, discolored water from shower head. Light skin tones make at the front counter with the pink star ontop his head has way too much attitude, like the customer is to blame fo him hating his job or forcing him to keep it.
- 2/5
No wine glasses, no wine openers, restaurant downstairs charged 10 bucks to open wine. TVs had no Netflix or ability to at least cast from your phone. No drinking water unless purchased bottled from downstairs or room service.
- 5/5
Amenities were outstanding which included a pool, steam room, sauna and whirl pool hot tub. Being able to do laundry was a plus. Went home with clean clothes. Breakfast was great, very convenient. Staff was always very helpful.
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and the best thing was the amenities. The spa which included a pool, steam room, sauna as well as whirl pool hot tub. Wonderful staycation. Staff was always helpful and the breakfast was fabulous.
- 4/5
Everything went well. I only did not like that I did not have wash cloths in my room during my stay.
- 5/5
Awesome place, very clean , quiet and comfortable. This hitel has a lot to offer from a cozy lounge to a restaruant to a pool, hotub and 2 saunas .
- 3/5
Hotel was nice staff was ok but they overcharged my card and it’s been difficult to get it resolved . I don’t recommend using valet they overcharged me
- 3/5
The room was extremely cold, the sheets weren’t throughly clean and the jacuzzi was filled with an obnoxious amount of chlorine that burned my eyes/ears. The guest service desk was at least pleasant.
- 5/5
was great
- 3/5
Furniture needs upgrade , Duck tape on Mirror to hide cracks . not a good look . Dust in the corners on carpet like a Vacuum never touched it. Bathroom toilet seat missing cap covers you see all the residue . Wash clothes that was giving looks like cleaning rags , overall cleaning crew need to do better. by the way I was room 418 . Staff was average
- 2/5
Loud clunking noise heard periodically. Cleaning staff was attentive and friendly. Parking staff was friendly and timely. Like the remote request feature via link. Front desk staff was nice.
- 4/5
Room temperature proof 💯 staff was very helpful
- 3/5
The breakfast was not worth the money as something simple as hot chocolate had to be purchased extra and don’t bother to order an omelette because they have no idea how to cook it. The staff, however, was very pleasant, helpful, and courteous..
- 4/5
Room was clean, convenient location. Bonus points for having a working sauna, steam room, hot tub, and pool!! Only complaint was that other people on our floor were very loud.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
We liked the location
- 5/5

- 5/5
The cleaning was good and cleaness staff was helpful
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff as always. 👍👍
- 5/5
Jenifer was amazing and room was clean and the food was amazing
- 4/5
Room was ok but had to call for towels, they didn’t have wash clothes n hand towels. The shower water was cold night one. Pool, hot tub n sauna all were great night one. 2nd night hot tub was out of order. The hotel is walking distance to shopping and lots of food options.
- 4/5
The room was a bit small, but worked for me as it was me alone, it was clean. I did not interact with the staff much as I work midnights and only came in to sleep.
- 3/5
Room was in good condition. Bed was very comfy! The bathroom needed a little help though. Found hair on the sink, and there were no hand towels. Two bath towels, one wash cloth and no hand towels. Two adults in the room, need two washcloths and hand towels. Staff was courteous as well.
- 1/5
We also only picked this because it had a hot tub at a pool and we knew we would be stuck in the hotel which of course they didn’t open the entire time we were there. The hallways were cold. It was grungy and not clean in the public spaces and they were not apologetic for any of the errors or lacking the pool.
- 4/5
The room itself was a little outdated. However, the bathroom was pretty decent. My only issue was the noise level from other guest on my floor. Anytime a door slams, you hear and feel the vibration of it in your room.
- 3/5
We reserved a "King Accessible" room (which describes "1 King Bed" under details), and found a full sized bed. When the front desk was asked about this, we were told that a "King Accessible" room doesn't necessarily mean a king bed, and that the bed in our room was a queen. So, aside from the snug sleeping and gaslighting, the view was great and the bed was comfy. These are the most important things. Still, the room was definitely teetering on *ultra* run down, e.g:severely peeling pleather headboard covered with a semi-sheer ill-fitting taupe stretch fabric cover. Such simple interventions could make a huge difference, but then again, this is a great location and somewhat unicorn low rates. Most of the staff were also kind. We'll continue to stay here.
- 1/5
I was not able to stay at the hotel due to severe weather conditions which cancelled my flight from Charlotte NC and when I tried to change my dates on the reservation they basically told me too bad, so sad. I got the impression they would rather have me fly and die than to move my dates to my February trip. I would not stay here even if it was the last place in the world to stay based on their horrific customer service in dealing with a nationally known severe storm for travel during an ice storm
- 4/5
Comfy bed
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Room was spotless and staff was nice.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable and accommodating to my needs.
- 4/5
Room was ok. No washcloths for the room
- 5/5
Sorry but why i didn't have a Microwave in the room
- 3/5
I ordered a microwave to be in my room, twice I was told it will be coming up but never did. I hated that it was only one elevator working
- 4/5
THE INTERNET HAD SOME SLOW ISSUES, AND THE ROOM I WAS IN DID HAVE A TUB AND SHOWER DIVERTER ISSUE, THAT WE DID NOT FIND OUT UNTIL THE MORNING OF CHECK OUT, WHEN I WENT TO TAKE A SHOWER AND NOT A BATH.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Did not get free breakfast. It was not offered or talked about at check in. We did eat breakfast at the restaurant. It was very good and the service was good but it was expensive.
- 3/5
The pool area dirty and wasn't even cleaned the next day
- 3/5
Both nights the noise on the floor was unbearable (with different people). It feels like the walls are made of paper and you can hear everything from the hallway and adjacent rooms. And it went until early in the morning.
- 1/5
- 3/5
The room was not in good condition. Staff were somewhat friendly!
- 4/5
When downtown Brooklyn going too event at Barclay Center this is my place I enjoy staying at. Walking distance and so many other things in walking distance as well

The room had no heater or hot water. I was told they were going to sent someone upstairs to fix it but no one came

Room was nice, good veiw. They didn’t have water in the room it’s an extra $3. Cleaning didn’t refill the bodywash
- 5/5
Friendly staff, good room, close to the subways and restaurants.
- 5/5
Room was perfect for our stay. Just wish the bathroom had more tabletop space for our things.
- 5/5
Bed linen needs an upgrade
- 4/5
Hot tub was at a good temperature, front desk staff and valet was very nice.

- 3/5
Furniture was broke Tv didn't work had to call for extra washcloths multiple times.
- 4/5
Staff always polite, clean, rooms are big and location is great for walking too Barclay Center
- 5/5
Went to swim and pool was closed due to swim lessons. Hot tub in pool area did not work did not heat up. Grand Canyon bistro on the lobby floor was expensive. Food was decent but they tried to tell me I only had one registered guest even though I paid for 2 breakfasts they still only gave me one. Also had a piece of metal wire brush in my croissant. Hotel staff was friendly and helping. I’d rate a 7/10 because of the pool and bistro
- 5/5
Quick check in
- 2/5
The pool area was bad no towels and the pool side and hot tub did not work and they said it works when I called and the workers don’t even help or do anything about it and take care of the pool area you ask a towel and they say the delivery of the towel would be between 830 and 9pm the pool open at 7 PM and the room was cold it had heat but by the window was a really big drafts installation is really bad so give them a 2

Room,Staff
- 3/5
Room was okay at best. Not super clean, fairly compact. Overpriced. Only salvage point was that it was in a great location. Hotel staff were great.
- 3/5
No hand towels, very small wash cloth odd fabric, upholstered desk chair fabric in shreds, 3 outlets did not work, someone's pill on the bathroom floor, not ours, no milk just fake powdered creamer, headboards covered with odd stretch fabric to hide who knows what ( didn't dare look) staff very nice
- 5/5
Clean room and great pool area.
- 1/5
I have never written a bad review on a hotel. This is my first time ever. Hotel floors were filthy when checking in. Elevator was dirty, and the walls were in horrible condition. Our bathroom was also filthy, and had to ask to come clean upstairs
- 2/5
The room had the top safery latch broken and maintenance man came in asking if we had called about the plumbing not working, which we had not. He did knock but we thought it was someone knocking at the room next door so we did not answer . And he came inside room, with out us opening door, that was scary. The waiting for breakfast was ridiculous
- 5/5
It was great
- 4/5
Yes but no wash towels just dry towels I called and asked they brought some more dry towels I went to the front desk and got some but overall the experience was good
- 3/5
staff not very responsive / efficient; area is a bit sketchy, particularly after dark
- 2/5
Front desk not friendly, not helpful.
- 1/5
She informed Security as I was going back to my room that she was "Throwing me out" & sent Security up to my room to bang on the door within 9 minutes of my interaction with her at the front desk. He then followed me as I left the room, the floor, the hotel as if her nartative was valid & he needed to follow me. It was all a very disgusting experience. Tamika Harris is clearly very unhappy in her life, over-inflated, inept, incompetent & a poor communicator. I was very happy to take my money elsewhere. Avoid if you can.
- 1/5
The room was terrible the facilities in the room to small and torn carpet chair and armchair.
- 1/5
Awful. When I arrived I was harassed in lobby by a homeless man. Staff did nothing to protect me from this man. The man proceeded to rob the hotel store, and again staff did nothing, did not even call police to report. Then when I arrived at my room, there was a staff member surveying the room, with a non staff member who is walking around the room. When I said “this is my room.” Staff member assured me the room was untouched, however why is a non staff member inside of the room I was just assigned. Then there was loud noise, banging on the connecting door, and someone even tried to enter my room by pushing the handle down. Checked in at 11pm, and had to leave at 1am because it became clear we were not safe there.

Worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. We unserstand city streets are difficult but why claim to have valet if you can't park or stop your car anywhere but in the middle of a single lane street which then blocks ALL of traffic. Emergency vehicles or otherwise. No help with the bags while we were rushing to unload the car as 12+ vehicles and a city bus are behind us honking. Then we get inside and the lobby is nice enough. Hope are high that we've experienced the worst of it. Wrong. Our room is boiling when we get up to it. We turn the a/c to 67 and after 30 minutes it starts to get cool. We had our for the evening and leave the a/c on at 69. When we arive back around 1130pm the room is an oven. Its late December in the north east and our rooms personal a/c was set to 69. After turning the system off then turning it back on it showed the temp at 77. Confirmed the heat was not selected, the a/c was, fan was on and we tried all functions/options. I went down to the lobby and brought this up the front desk. No available rooms and maintenance wouldn't arrive until after our check out. We spent the next hour in the lobby seating area simply trying to cool down and determine what to do. We wound up checking out in the middle of the night because the 4 of us were drenched in sweat as the room only continued to get warmer. We decided it was better to drive 3 - 3.5 hours home, sleep deprived, in the early morning than stay at this hotel. Story over? Of course not. I follow the ins
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Hotel needs to be updated.
- 2/5
First and foremost was not greeted when we walked in, then was asking where we parked where we should park at. We were informed to park out front and told the front desk that there were a lot of park cars out front and no parking attendant was handling in the vehicles and the front desk rep said well just double park in the bike lane if you have to because the car attendant is running behind OK so I do so and the park attendant comes out yelling at me saying don’t touch his stuff don’t move his cones and I explained that I was told from the front desk to park here and he said no and I told him I was not moving. He needed to go to the front desk cause he was the one that was told me move there.
- 3/5
The most exceptional thing about the room was the view of the Brooklyn bridge. Also, the bed and pillows were comfortable. However, the bathroom was tiny and the shower door leaked which allowed water to go all over the floor. In addition, it is also unfortunate that the morning we were leaving I had to kill a roach. I am hopeful that I will not have to find anything that came home with us; roaches that is.
- 4/5
Courteous staff
- 5/5
Great location
- 1/5
It was the worse experience every.
- 4/5
Was clean, little dated location and staff was great..!
- 4/5
Room was old, there were scratch marks on the chair and cupboard.
- 2/5
No complementary amenities/toiletries which one can expect from a hotel that charges so much, faulty thermostat, dilapidated furniture, and unclean restrooms
- 5/5
Good, wasn’t there long. Had to check out very early
- 4/5
The room was clean but the facilities certainly felt old, the checkin staff seemed like they were done with life.
- 3/5
The room is clean but worn. Mattress is not comfortable
- 5/5
Everything was perfect room clean staff was pleasant
- 1/5
Horrible customer service. Gave our selected room away despite pre-payment and confirmation with the hotel front desk directly in advance. No supervisor/manger to help. Email to next level of management I responded to. Holiday Inn/IHG said they could not help until after we checked out. I would BEWARE of booking this property.
- 3/5
No hand towels available. Hair found in clean towels. Quality of all towels was poor. Hallways were not in good condition. Overall, amenities and hotel does not justify price paid.
- 3/5
Could hear couple in room next door very loudly and also a few rooms away could hear them arguing. Doors slam, need soft closure, staff not very friendly, especially when room key randomly stopped working, it was as if it was my fault.
- 5/5
Nice hotel very clean friendly staff
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 1/5
Room was very run down for price
- 3/5
Room was small but fine. There was a microwave and minifridge which was helpful.
- 4/5
The property was good. Might could use some updating in some areas. Breakfast was as expected. Close to a subway station. Good overall stay.
- 3/5
Room in gd cond, clean, hot shower,nl microwave, refrigerator. Reasonably priced Mexican café, Grand Canyon, attached to hotel for breakfast, etc. However, steam room & sauna both kaput and evidently from YELP reviews, been that way for some time.

WONDERFUL

WONDERFUL
- 2/5
The room was dirty and run down. I felt dirty the whole time
- 4/5
Clean and conveniently located!
- 3/5
Room was fine. Staff is unfriendly and seemed annoyed I asked them something. Feels a little unsafe in the lobby like anyone can walk in from outside and just get on the elevator.
- 3/5
Room was kind of run down, supplies of common items missing in room and front desk personnel not particularly friendly- especially over the phone
- 5/5
- 5/5
Easy booking
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 4/5
The room was clean, the staff was polite. I like that shampoos and soaps were provided. They smelled really good.
- 3/5
Rooms could use a refresh. Hotel staff could use some more customer service training.
- 1/5
Not nice not clean. Parking is expensive.
- 5/5
Clean room and the staff was amazing.
- 5/5
The hotel is very well located for walking or getting the metro to other parts of the city. I walked to Brooklyn bridge and also went to Park Slope for breakfast each morning! Interactions with other guests you encounter in the lobby and lifts were also a nice aspect of my stay here. The room was comfortable and great space for me to work while I was there. The only thing to be improved would be to try enable a more consistent level of friendliness and service among the staff at check in.
- 2/5
Staff was very nice. Helpful. On site restaurant was very good. The finishes and furnishings in our room were old and worn.
- 1/5
The room is not what we booked, the bed is not king size. The staff is helpful no complain for that. Amenity wise, the sound proofing is bad we heard someone is having sex at 2am in the morning right across the hallway, which is bad for sleep.
- 4/5
Overall is ok
- 1/5
The staff was amazing and courteous, the rate was great but then I found out why!!!! The carpet was wet on the side of the bed, there was food on the bed and sheets like visible food that I was just over it. The pool was closed even though they said it was going to be open. I didn't enjoy have a slightly wet sheets that just didn't make sense. The carpet was gross and wet and the room smell old and musty. It doesn't matter what I paid, it should be clean and ready for use that's what the hotel guarantees. I guess taking ppls money was more a priority that having repeat customers. Luckily I bring my own stuff to clean and cover with but I should be able to have clean linens on the bed, fresh bed and dry clean floors. The TV was abysmal who wants to listen to music and not watch actual movies or shows. Please do better for the guests to come. I really wanted to unwind and enjoy my day after working 3 days back to back shift. I was totally disgusted. It didn't make sense to complain when the hotel knew this problem existed.
- 3/5
Asked for wake up call on day of departure which I never got Not much to do with staff so can’t comment on that Had to ask for tea and coffee to be replenished
- 2/5
Doors are so cheap you can hear everything in the hallways - elevator, people talking, other rooms doors slamming. AC is so loud you think you are on the plane with no earbuds. Shower door hinges are rusted and takes an effort to open and close. Not recommended.
- 5/5
Nice and clean and quiet Food next door not so good I Always stay her when in Brooklyn
- 4/5
Bed and pillows good, hot shower, tea supplies too. Chairs need to be replaced, peeling and look unsightly.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Nice clean property in a walkable section of town. Parking was pricey but probably normal. Little bar restaurant which is nice.
- 2/5
The staff we encountered were great but the property was less than desirable. Our room had broken furniture, chair old and torn, no hand towels. The property definitely needs a facelift!!! I’ve stayed at this property before and it was ver desirable but time has taken it’s toll!!!
- 4/5
Check-in was good. The room was clean and the staff was accommodating. I enjoyed the location of the hotel and I would definitely stay there again.

CLEAN GREAT STAFF
- 3/5
Rooms weren’t up to par at all a
- 3/5
The room showed signs of tear, need to get fresh painting and also chairs and no microwave to the rooms
- 5/5
Extremely friendly staff, safe area, and great view
- 4/5
Clean room good amenities bed was comfy no issues with staff they were all friendly and very welcoming . Only negative i have to say its dont get a connecting room i was never told this untill i got to the room thin doors i could hear the next room guest using the restroom / could hear their conversations..
- 1/5
For that price? The room was terrible. Dust balls in the corner, lights that didn’t work, room was barely lit since only one light actually worked, towels felt like sandpaper - for $260/night I expect a bit more.
- 1/5
My hotel stay was horrendous, from the attitude of the worker at the desk to the nasty stained walls and disgusting carpet in the room. The hotel lobby is gorgeous and misleading considering the room was filthy and outdated. Unless you're in desperate need of a place to stay near Barclays, I would not suggest wasting your money on this hotel.
- 4/5
Parking was hard to figure out, had to go inside and leave my car running outside to get my room then had to bring it to valet. The rooms are much smaller than look like in pictures. But I will say the rooms were very clean
- 3/5
The room was small and the fixtures felt out of date/worn down. We were on a low floor with no view and a rooftop directly outside of the window which did not feel safe or private, kept the curtains closed the whole time, but even those didn’t fit over the AC unit. Felt overpriced given other options in the area.

I need my refund I check out the second morning which is today I didn’t stay
- 5/5
The room was perfect, best sleep I had n a long time. The breakfast this morning was so on point had me ready to stay another day.
- 4/5
Great location and clean and tidy room, although housekeeping forgot to provide towels on 2 occasions so I had to ring front desk for them.
- 5/5
It was a good stay, good location, train station was nearby
- 5/5
The service was amazing and also very informative and helpful with any questions I had during my stay there.
- 2/5
The $150 is a refundable fee like an insurance but the app didn’t tell me about the fee.
- 3/5
The room was nice and neat. Two things that bothered me with my stay here. There were no wash cloths in the room when I checked in so I went to the room phone to can front desk and the phone wasn't working. I had to go downstairs to the front desk to ask for a bare necessity. What's crazy was that the phone wasn't plugged in. I plugged it in but it didn't work the whole time that I was there. Holiday Inn got to do better.
- 5/5
Friendly staff comfortable bed and space
- 2/5
I don’t not receive any towels and wash clothes .. I had to request clean towels/washclothrs.. I had to ask for house cleaning to clean up the trash… I had to ask for them to dump my trash. I’m disabled I had to ask my quest to go to different floors for ice.. our flight came in early and no accommodations unless we pay for early check in…. I live in NC and the hospitality at the Holiday Inn was not great… I have a list of things that I was not happy with …

Update furniture
- 5/5
Room was clean. Staff was courteous.
- 2/5
room was crummy, chair peeling and overall ugly. wifi did not connect.
- 1/5
The room was so so dirty, air all over the bed the bathroom wasn’t clean
- 3/5
Hotel needs to be updated. Several areas were cracked/peeling/damaged including the furnishings and fixtures. Staff was helpful to move me to a different room but it was not much better.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and staff
- 4/5
Very friendly staff and prompt response when service was needed.
- 1/5
the room was horrible. the staff was rude when i explained about the restaurant charging me for my breakfast that was supposed to be free. The staff took my being upset about that personal. Never again...
- 5/5
Service was good
- 5/5
The hotel staff is pretty friendly I give the a cool 7 the house keeper are pretty good at bringing you what you need this is a very much pretty decent hotel vibe
- 3/5
Rooms and showers a little small.
- 5/5
Location was very convenient for the Barclays Center. Staff was very friendly and check in and out very efficient.
- 4/5
The room was clean but aged. If you pay a premium for a higher floor you get a little bit nicer room (same tiny size). Don't fall for the Verrazano Bridge view scam. You cannot see that bridge. The restaurant off the lobby is very good. A full breakfast there costs around $20. The location is ideal for walking. Check out the NY Transit museum.
- 4/5
The room was spacious by NYC standards
- 5/5
It was okay!
- 5/5
Great hotel and close to Barclays Center
- 4/5
Friendly service, clean rooms, no face towels 👎
- 3/5
Good location but old property not clean enough
- 1/5
Parking was awful. Staff not friendly.
- 2/5
At almost $500 per night (mid-October rates), this hotel was waaaay overpriced. It was a very budget experience at premium prices. Nothing here was a show stopper, but there were a number of annoying things: there was some confusion at check-in (I booked two rooms under my name for my whole family, but they needed my brother to be there in person even though I was paying), the room with 2 double beds was barely big enough for my family of 4 to walk around in with our luggage, the bathroom sink was loose, one day we found a blood stain on the bedsheets, and at check out we were told valet would take an hour. Staff was friendly, cleaners were great, but next time I'm either going upgrade or finding somewhere further out and much cheaper.
- 4/5
Everything was good. I didn't eat breakfast, not sure about it. Great location.
- 5/5
The staff is really nice and accomadating. Room is comfortable and clean. Enjoyed my night.
- 3/5
The sauna and hot tub weren't working which I only found out when I got there. Overall the room felt a bit in need of TLC... The early checkin fee was $75 :( Other than that, very friendly staff and great location.
- 5/5
Additionally, I would like to note that we requested extra towels and sanitizer wipes from housekeeping, but unfortunately, they were not provided, prompting us to make a purchase. Conveniently, a dry cleaning service is located down the street from the hotel, and a five-minute walk will take you to CVS, Whole Foods, Apple, Target, Trader Joe's, and Atlantic Avenue, which features a plethora of boutiques, restaurants, grocery shopping, and Walgreens, as well as additional nearby dining options. Notably, the property is within walking distance to NYU Brooklyn Campus, Fort Greene, DUMBO, and the Brooklyn library. We particularly enjoyed Black Seed Bagel breakfast bagel sandwiches, and the location is convenient to the Hoyt - Schermerhorn, Fulton St, Borough Hall, Nevins St, and Hoyt St Subway stations. Elevators were so slow and the property is pet friendly. Downtown Brooklyn is highly pedestrian-friendly and accommodating to families and pets. We felt secure exploring the area. Hope this feedback was helpful.
- 2/5
Understaffed. Very expensive. Parking very problematic.
- 1/5
Disrespectful customer service
- 5/5
Tv needed repairs
- 1/5
Unfortunately I can’t cancel the room without loosing a significant portion of my money so I’ll deal with. Again I used to love this place. Location wise it’s great but beyond that it’s a 1 star worth about $100 bucks a night at best. Updated review. My room has bed bugs. I reported this to the hotel and the gentlemen insisted I speak with the manager after 7. I spoke with Masani, the manager and she was not helpful at all. The first thing she said was “technically there is nothing I can do.” Her demeanor was rude and she appeared irritated that I even followed up with her about it.
- 1/5
From that same evening onward, the service completely collapsed. Calling the front desk from my room was a nightmare. Out of five calls, four times they simply picked up and hung up without saying a single word. When I tried calling the restaurant or the bar, nobody ever answered. It was absolutely impossible to reach anyone by phone, which is shocking for a hotel. The jacuzzi was another disaster. The water was cold, dirty, and clearly broken. When I asked staff about it, I got three completely different answers: one said he didn’t know, another promised it would work in an hour, and a third admitted it was broken and would take two days for a repair. Meanwhile, it remained unusable the entire time. This hotel completely failed in basic service. I left angry, frustrated, and extremely disappointed. Definitely NOT recommended.
- 5/5
Good quality hotel for the price. Nice beds, good room, pleasant staff.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Good quality for the price.
- 3/5
The hotel was posh at one time but needs maintanence and upgrading.
- 5/5
Beautiful view. Quiet. Friendly stuff. Caffee place in the building terrible food and caffee. Cheap caffee beans and terrible smell from milk for $6.50. I returned.
- 3/5
The food at the restaurant is not at all recommended; little taste, definitely frozen & thawed, too expensive for what it was. Luckily it's NYC, so plenty of alternatives in walking distance. About 40 mins to Times Square by car with traffic; I thought it would be easier to get in and out of the city - definitely not walkable.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
See picture below of hole in curtain Restaurant was good. Maids were nice
- 4/5
It's okay, just to shower and sleep. A little bit small
- 5/5
The staff was really great. We stayed there for my birthday week. The trains are close, shopping, and amazing food.
- 5/5
Great spot for the price, thank you.
- 3/5
Also Light on other amenities such as.. no trash can in the bathroom, no face wipes or wash or soap … just dove hand and body wash in the big containers.
- 3/5
Furniture was shedding on chairs in the room. There were no hand or face towels provided for the course of the stay even after I requested it.
- 4/5
The room was awesome, the view was great and the staff was lovely :)
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Fantastic for the price
- 2/5
The property is pretty run down; the rooms don’t look as advertised.
- 3/5
Two hours later, still nothing. No knock on the door, no phone call, no follow-up. Not even a courtesy “we don’t have one” or “sorry, we forgot.” Just silence. It’s a small item, but the lack of basic communication was frustrating. A shower cap isn’t about luxury, it’s about convenience, and instead I ended up having to mess up my hair because the request was ignored. A simple acknowledgment would have gone a long way.
- 4/5
The room was pleasant and perfectly located
- 5/5
We love staying here and we do whenever we are in Brooklyn. I wish the pet fee was a little less, but other than that it is a nice place to stay.

- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, inside the hotel was clean and nice but the area surrounding wasn’t that good. Just a personal opinion! Some ppl don’t mind the area! But I enjoyed my stay and the staff were great!
- 3/5
The location was great, but I did not like that we have to pay for valet parking and the hotel is okay but the price is way too high for this hotel
- 5/5
Good place to stay
- 5/5
Nice
- 2/5
Very poor housekeeping. Did not have towels and had to ask for them and had to ask to have our room cleaned. The room itself had only one office chair. No table even though there was space for one. Only place to sit was on the bed. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice but excessive pressure. Bathroom had very little counter space. Dining room and bar were closed by the health department.
- 3/5
Sheets and towels had been replaced and that’s about where the cleaning stopped. Hotel is rundown and filthy—more roadside motel style but in a building in downtown Brooklyn. The walls were stained, the doors were covered in greasy fingerprints, the carpet was dirtier than the New York sidewalk and had a smell. Had to wipe down my nightstand and desk with my own Clorox wipes. Found four different types of hair not belonging to me. To add insult to injury, housekeeping was in the room next to mine gossiping and shouting to the top of their lungs for over an hour at 9am and I had to call twice to have someone deal with them. Maybe more actual cleaning and less socializing. Also remodel or just demolish like the rest of downtown. Would not stay again for free.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean and staff was friendly.
- 5/5
It was a pleasure to stay here

Amazing

I loved the neighborhood, accessibility to transportation, the hotel itself was clean and was a great value for the location and quality. The staff was all very professional and great at helping. I will be back!

Great room, really comfy bed, keurig machine, what else could I want?

The front desk associate was very friendly and helpful. Reminded me of the reward program that i forgot to include in my reservation. It allowed me to check in early for free and if need be could have had a later checkout. View was nice and the ac worked well. Would stay here again if attending an event at the Barclay Center.
- 1/5
They did not have the restaurant open for breakfast and I pay for the service. Need a refund no it
- 2/5
High floor room I was in was too small for the price paid. There was no breakfast and a breakfast package was paid for. I had to lift The microwave and move it to the desk in order to plug it in. The staff was nice.
- 3/5
Only thing holding back a much better review is the bed. The mattress definitely needed replacement, for it was sinking in the middle. Otherwise very solid
- 5/5
Clean room, great location
- 1/5
Bathroom was filthy bad dirt marks. Marking on walls a/c filter stinked
- 1/5
Review Body: I stayed at the Holiday Inn Brooklyn for five nights (8/28/25 thru 9/2/25). Each day, I had to ask for basic amenities such as towels and washcloths—something that should have been provided routinely. I also requested to speak with a manager, but each time was told one was unavailable. It felt like I was being ignored rather than treated like a guest. This level of service is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one under the well-established IHG brand. I hope management takes serious steps to improve staff responsiveness and guest care.

Clean Quick Indoor Pool Bar First Floor Good Food Near Downtown Shopping Center Nice.
- 5/5
However the stay and the hotel room was very nice.

The hotel restaurant had a sign on the front door saying it was shut down by New York City health and human services. That speaks volume for my experience, it was very poor. I regret staying at this hotel. The hotel was very old, the AC made my wife’s very sick every night.
- 3/5
The room was clean but look pretty out dated and old .
- 3/5
Parking was absurd. Valet said I couldn't leave my car, that I had to check on in first. Later when checking out I learned that they parked my car so.eqhere off-site and it took about 45 minutes to retrieve.

Location

Cons: This hotel is really janky. Restaurant/bar is closed down by the health department. I would not touch the cloudy nasty pool and sauna even if they were open at a normal time (open 7am-noon and 7pm til 10pm?). Front door is glass is patched up with duct tape. We had hotel mechanics knock and enter to check for “life devices” in the room. We paid almost $600 for two nights and the room has doors and shelves falling off, shower creaked so loudly we were afraid we’d wake up our neighbors. And we were supplied with two towels (!). There were 3 of us on the reservation. If I were you, pay another $50 a night and go anywhere else.
- 3/5
The room was clean but the items in the room has seen better days, towels had holes and no wash cloths or hand towels smh.
- 5/5
My stay was amazing I would stay there again
- 3/5
The pool area is not open to the patrons all day. It opens in the morning, closes from 5 hours and the reopening at 5:30pm. Staff was 15 minutes late to open. The hot tub was not working. I stepped on medal cover which was off, and the whole exposed. The steam room was not steamy or hot, tiles on the seating area were coming off, them on them as I was walking in, the sauna room as well was not in working conditions.
- 5/5
Great location near subway stop. Clean and comfortable, classy decor. Comfortable beds. Good food in the restaurant. We will stay here again.
- 4/5
Ms Jennifer from the front desk was SO HELPFUL, thank you so much once again! She was the only one willing to really help me and make my stay a breeze. Overall it was nice, rooms and bathroom were a little small but we enjoyed our stay. It was clean, and the pool is amazing.
- 4/5
Best view in NYC.
- 5/5
Excellent staff, great attached restaurant.
- 5/5
Quick trip to NY. Great location if you need to say few days for business in NY. Ciao
- 2/5
I also had to pay a deposit every time I decided to extend my stay. After the 3rd day we moved to the Aloft Hotel for the remainder for our stay in Brooklyn because the Holiday Inn was just poor service all around.
- 3/5
On a separate trip there was a condom still in the room and all they did was move me. They didn’t offer any credits or reimbursement. Seems management is lacking.
- 5/5
Nice location. Friendly staff
- 4/5
The receptionist was extremely nice . I didn’t get her name but super accommodating and the room was clean . Just the blinds were a little old
- 4/5
Room was clean but the furniture was not dated but aged wear and tear. Love the sauna and pool in the basement Great located 15 min to to Brookline bridge
- 4/5
The hotel needs remodeling especially the carpet and furniture . Otherwise a good and convenient hotel with excellent breakfast. I would still go back next time i visit NY
- 4/5
Great stay. Only issue was in the middle of the night people had a party and woke me and other guest up. The staff handle it though.
- 3/5
Location was extremely convenient - easy access to downtown/midtown and points all over Brooklyn with multiple subway options within 1-3 blocks. Generally quiet (though you do feel slight rumble of subway every so often, even on high floors). Lots of food options nearby (2 blocks from DeKalb market and Wonder next door). Bathroom and sheets were clean, but carpet was FILTHY. My white socks were black after one trip across the rug. Also hotel clearly has a thing about towels. There was only one towel when we arrived, and it took 2+ hours and trip to desk to get more. Then each day, housekeeping took ALL the towels without replacing, and it took multiple requests and 4-5 hours plus trips down to front desk to have them replaced (this happened on 3 of 4 days). The room had only one bedside table though there was lots of empty space on the window side. many outlet on wall on that side indicated there should have been a table. At first we considered whether 30% of the room was empty b/c to make it accessible, but clearly not the case - bathroom very small with almost no counter space (but many empty towel hooks), plus narrow passage between bed and fridge/desk to get to empty part of room. Room also was very dark at night (except bathroom that had extremely bright, hyper-sensitive motion sensor light). Photos show extra floor lamp, 2 night tables, and lounge chair, which would have made sense in the space and made room far more convenient. We had none of this.
- 3/5
I really like how close the hotel was to everything. It was a good stay , hotel was kept clean and staffs were ok.
- 5/5
Big rooms, nice staff
- 5/5
💯💯 lovely stay!
- 5/5
Incredible facility in Brooklyn, close to the subway and lots of restaurants too. Loved my stay here and will choose it again!
- 4/5
Good location right off the A train from the airport and close to multiple other transit lines.
- 4/5
Was a comfortable stay but some of the outlets don’t work.
- 5/5
It was easily accessible. Parking was easy but confusing. We had to wait 30 minutes to find a valet but it went smoothly. There is no coffee in the lobby so be sure to ask for more from the front desk or housekeeper.
