    Very helpful staff, stayed here bc close to JFK Airport. Only thing, their shuttle would not drop you off at your airline terminal, instead all were dropped off or picked up at only one location. Pretty far when lugging suitcases.

    The shuttle bus does not run after 11 pm, and as we were arriving later, and did not have roaming packages on our phones we could not call a taxi. We had to bribe the bus from another hotel that was running that late to drop us off at our hotel. In the future, I will pay more attention to the time the shuttle stops running, and will stay at a hotel with a shuttle that runs later in the night. Lesson learnt!

    Disgusting is the best way to describe this horrific hotel. The whole place smells of sewage! The room dirty and uncomfortable. The staff could care lees and unhelpful. The shuttle never came either! We would have left but had an early flight and were stuck in the most miserable hotel ever. We still have not gotten over the rotten aroma.

    When we got to our room it was 97 degrees in there. Someone came and checked it but he kept saying oh its getting a little cooler in here and wanted us to stay in the room. After almost 30 minute he finally said yeah you should get another room. Seemed like they didnt want us to get anotjer room.even though it was way too hot in there to sleep.

    Had a late check in due to a late flight. When I arrived to the hotel a little after 10 the check in line was out the door and there was only one person at the desk. It took so long to check in I had time to order DoorDash and get it while I was still standing in line( over an hour). The one person did a great job managing it alone

    Overall, the hotel is outdated. The shuttle doesn’t pick up at the airport so leave extra time to commute via the AirTran which is where the shuttle transits to. Fire alarm went off in my room because of steam from the shower which I found unusual. I took the alarm off the ceiling and reinstalled when the steam cleared. Alarm went off again. I kept it disconnected until checkout the next morning. When I installed it, it went off again so I left it on the night stand.

    I came in late after a canceled flight and I was standing in line to check in for a while. Finally got to my room and it was 94 degrees and the ac unit wasn’t working. We switched rooms and woke up at 3:30 am to the smell of sulfur. Apparently the waste facility next door was causing the smell but we had to leave then. Do not recommend at all.

    Check in was easy so that was nice, but upon entering my room, the entire floor smelled like weed, but I was too tired from traveling to be moved to a different room. The fitted sheet on the bed had 3 large stains….2 were makeup and one was something unidentified. Also the room was very very small. The MOST important thing to note however was that this hotel is right by some kind of water treatment facility….so all night all I smelled was rotten eggs. I couldn’t get the smell to go away unless i ran the A/C the entire time, which made it freezing. Pillows were uncomfortable. Finally, in the morning the steam from my partners shower set off the smoke detector…which made for a terrible wake up after getting no sleep.

    Absolutely avoid staying here. Find a different hotel by the airport. This one is directly by a dump and a sewer facility. My room smelled so badly I thought it was carbon monoxide. I called the front desk at 3am. They sent a maintenance person up who confirmed it was not carbon monoxide. He opened my window and turned the fan off and said I could go back to sleep. I could not sleep due to the smell. I called again to ask if it was just my room or every room. They said every room. When I asked around in the morning, some people smelled it and some didn’t. Come to find out it is directly across the street from a dump and sewage plant. Expedia gave me a partial refund but the hotel did nothing.

    The staff were friendly and helpful. They let us know how much time we would need to get to the airport. Also made check in smooth and easy The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. The shower pressure was very low. The rooms are not sound proof so can hear the planes flying over every 10 mins. Very expensive for a night

    Nice bar/restaurant on the main level which came in very handy. I was able to get something decent to eat without having to go out. The property is in the process of being updated, so there was plastic restricting some areas, but that didn't impact my stay. Very handy to have the free shuttle to take us to the airport train. Worked out well for us. Unfortunately, got in too late for shuttle service and I had to pay $70 for a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Crazy high price for a 5 minute ride!!!

    First shuttle ride was amazing. Driver was great. Bed was comfy. Shower was a good experience. Outdated and Unclean hallways. Food was why over priced in the garden grill. Elevator was in fair condition. Charging for bottle water in room if your not a higher level Hilton member is a very odd experience. Did not like that there was light you could not turn off without unplugging them.

    Breakfast options were limited The only complaint was that my room was next to a major road and the noise was uncomfortably loud. I checked the windows to see if they were open but I just saw ancient aluminum framed windows. They desperately need to get them replaced with modern dual glazed PVC windows to cut down the noise. The traffic noise woke me up twice in the middle of the night. Avoid room 200 or the ones above it. If the noise wasn’t there, it would have been a very comfortable stay.

    The toilet dis not flush— no jiggling could work so I had to take off the tank cover to lift the thing. What’s scary is housekeeping had to know this if they had actually cleaned the toilet after the prior guest. Never again

    Easy check in, staff on check in was very helpful and courteous, room was clean, easy to get to and from airport. I called ahead to check on status of shuttle and there was no issue with front desk providing and update and shuttle was right on time to pick my family up from JFK. Will stay here again next time we fly out of JFK. There is also some street parking in front of the hotel.

    I arrived after a snowstorm, and apparently there was some kind of water leak in the hotel so 1/2 of the hotel was dripping with water loud fans. The parking lot was not shoveled or plowed when I had to park my car. I had to put it in four-wheel-drive not to mention, I had to walk through an entire parking lot of nothing but ice and snow and yeah, I was charged $40 for parking in a facility that I already paid for a room expecting parking to be included and not being in a wintry icy condition that I would have to walk through The parking facilities really sucked. It was icy and snowy. It wasn’t shoveled out. It was hazardous walking to the door and the hotel had some kind of water break so Servpro was there. The fans were loud and it was just not a very good stay.

    The room was nice and clean, everything I would expect for a relaxing stay. My only complaint is that their airport hotel shuttle doesn’t run past 10:00pm which was a huge inconvenience since my international flight came in slightly after 10:00p. The taxi charge to the hotel was a ridiculous $46! Next time I’ll prefer to stay at one of the more expensive hotels with a 24hr shuttle.

    Nice room. I was only there for a few hours to rest. Close to the airport. Shuttle runs from 6am to 10pm so if you have a late flight you will have to get a taxi. It is a short distance abut $20 in an Uber.

    Shower door slide open on it's own whilst showering. The safe didn't work, had to get front desk to have maintenance replace battery or safe. The housekeeping staff started cleaning at 7am which was RIDICULOUS. I couldn't sleep in. They were Banging, Clanging and shouting to each other it sounded like a construction site. I had to call the front desk to complain. I paid over $200 per night and got one star service. My family member also stayed 3 nights like myself from out of state for a family funeral, they too had complaints. On the elevator down on checking out I asked a couple how was their stay, the elevator ride wasn't long enough to hear all the complaints. I think a full refund should be made.

    Dear Hilton Customer Service, I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at one of your properties. Unfortunately, it was the worst experience I have ever had with the Hilton chain. • The staff was extremely rude and showed no concern for the guests. • The room had a strong odor of weed/ marijuana, which made it impossible for us to rest. • The shuttle bus service is scheduled only at 6:00 a.m., and the hotel provides no alternative for guests with earlier flights.     I had booked a room for my son to stay overnight as his flight from Taipei arrived only at 9pm and the connecting flight to his final destination was the next morning. To his dismay, the shuttle service from the airport terminal to your hotel had already stopped running and he had no choice but to take a cab. Uber only accepted Zelle as payment (which my son does not have). So he had to take a cab and they only accepted cash. Guess what? The short ride was USD397! That is daylight robbery!     The staff was very slow. It took two days to fix a clogged bathroom sink. Trash was not emptied, and the breakfast and dinner were awful. No room service was available; we had to go downstairs to order and wait for food. We visited the front desk three times to get our key fixed so we could use the gym, but it was never resolved. Overall, the experience was terrible, and we will not return.

    The toilet wouldn’t stop running, we asked for maintenance and they never showed up . My partner had to jiggle something in the back of the toilet to make it stop each time we flushed , and that’s not something you want to be doing on vacation. Other wise than that experience it was good .     The hotel lobby was so cold. You had to be fully dressed while waiting in a long line for check-in. The staff was not friendly-seemed overworked. House keeping took towels on the second day and did not replace them I had to call after showering to get towels. Two guests, three pillows. Did not feel welcomed.     The shower is awesome, nice amenities, thanks for great customer service at the front desk, but PLEASE encourage your front desk agent NOT to say the floor/room number allowed (for safety reasons). The front desk clerk should point to the room number & tell guest "this is your room number", if the guest repeats that different but I had to ask her NOT to say room number allowed after telling me I was on the 3rd floor. Different world we're living in, but just best practices moving forward.

    Wasn’t a bad visit it just had no snack options to choose from and they were out of detergent so we couldn’t wash our clothes. Another thing that kind of upset me was that they have complimentary shuttle service everyday but on this past Sunday, we were leaving to go to the airport to catch our flight and found out they didn’t have a shuttle that day and were ubering people to the airport which wasn’t a problem until we were gonna have to share an uber with others but when the uber got there, they realized there was no room for us in it so we’d have to wait extra long for another one to come and said it’d be here in 3 mins yet never came. We then had to go inside and ask where it was and she said she would just order a new one. By the time we got to the airport we had missed our flight and had to wait at the airport for 7 hours to catch a new one.

    I booked this hotel because breakfast and parking were included, allegedly. However, both of these were extras that required additional payment. The water bottles left in the room were for a $3.00 charge. I had to pay incidentals charge of $75.00 per day. I have never had to pay this before. Hopefully, it was all returned as nothing was used or damaged. Disappointing.

    The handling of this was unacceptable. I was traveling with four people, and I was offered a king bed as a solution. When I explained that a king bed would not work for four people, the staff member shrugged and responded, “I don’t know,” as if this was my problem to solve. I spoke to three different front desk employees, and the tone was consistently rude and dismissive instead of helpful or solution-oriented. Eventually, the last person told me the room was being cleaned and would be ready shortly. Instead, I waited over an hour, which made me late to an event. I did not get to my room until after 4:30 PM, which is unbelievable given the check-in time. To make matters worse, when I finally entered the room, it was two regular-sized beds, not the two queen beds I booked. What also added to the frustration was the misleading information about breakfast. The listing online indicated breakfast would be free; however, when I arrived, I was required to pay.

    The AC in the room was extremely loud. I did a early check in which I understand I need to take the room available, however I was not expecting to be placed in a room next to the laundry room which was very very loud also. The door of the room took so time to close unless you push it close. The AC in the room would run and then started making a loud noise. At breakfast I placed an order then changed what I was ordering, I was unfortunately brought the previous order. I am a big fan of the Hilton properties however this is one that I will not be staying in again.

    My wake up call was 15 minutes late - luckily I was up and already getting ready but that could have seriously impacted my morning. The shuttle bus was oversubscribed and there was no organisation of loading so I ended up being left behind on the first trip of the day. They came back around but I was 15 minutes later leaving that I expected. The hotel is in a noisy location but it was perfectly quiet for sleeping and the hotel is nice.

    This hotel was lovely! The room was very spacious, clean and absolutely worth the price. The hotel shuttle was also clean and reliable and the staff at the front desk was very nice. My only note would be the location is off the highway and in a very queens backroads type of area so its not aesthetically pleasing nor in walking distance of the nearby train stations but if you dont mind that, I 1000% recommend staying here!

    The front desk person was rude. When asked about parking, she told me I can park on the street. I was aware that there was a parking fee and was requesting to pay for parking. My key card was not activated when I pulled into the parking lot. I had to back up and return to activate my key, which made her a little angrier.     Room 8/10, staff: the staff member at the front female light skin, black hair,10pm working has is rude, unwelcoming more concerned about going in the back to sit down rather than greeting people, she is not a plus to your hotel. Shuttle service to airport doesn't start until 615am. Inaddition no coffee or any form of breakfast at 545am, again the very same staff members was uninterested in working. I stood in the lobby talkong to 2 other customers and they had the very same things to same about the front desk worker. Some people don't belong in service industry. Sad because the hotel was okay. Amenities idk i was there for a short time to go on a flight. Shuttle service nedds to start earlier.

    It is what it is, and a bit more. Close to JFK, an hour away from the city. Overall well maintained. The room and bathroom are in pretty decent shape, above expectation. The lobby area is basic but decent. I would've skipped the Halloween decorations, but to each his own. But, in all honesty, it is EXTREMELY overpriced for what it is. I would've expected to pay about half of what I was charged. Other than that, gets the job done.

    the front desk staff and manager refused check in for the prepaid stay. Traveler had lost/stolen wallet and could not offer a physical card at check in. they refused to accommodate. Hilton corporate was called twice over a couple hour period to resolve and assist to override the front desk staff. after continued discussion they finally made an exception and allowed check in. Staff was not very friendly or helpful during this process.

    The staff was great about answering our questions, and checkin/checkout was easy. The transportation from the airport was reasonably easy. You take the free AirTrain to Federal Circle Station, go downstairs to groundlevel and walk under the covered breezeway to the hotel shuttle pickup area. The Hilton Garden Inn shuttle leaves the hotel every hour and half hour to arrive at the pickup area 5 minutes later so you don't need to call for a ride. You can also ride back to the Federal Circle Station, go to the second level to ride the AirTrain to the Jamaica Station (less than $10 charge) then buy a LIRR train ticket to Penn Station if you want to go into Manhattan to see some of the sites. It was a safe transportation method. We easily walked from Penn Station to the Empire State Building, Macy's, Madison Square gardens, Time Square, and were easily able to catch a cab to go see the Statue of Liberty as well.

The shuttle is timely, the staff at the front desk is polite (the really short lady was extra nice) she so tiny..     Generally a fine stay, staff friendly and helpful room clean and stocked. Big complaints with the “hvac” which was ineffective and rattled like a Sherman tank. The most disappointing thing was the TV reception. We are Vikings fans and Emmy watchers and both channels were at best pixelated and often went down completely.

    Not very good experience. It started off that i wrote to the hotel a couple of days before i came with regards the shuttle - never received any answer (the mail on their website) - so i had to pay for an Uber. Second, the hotel is old, run down, not pleasant. Checkin took long. Not a nice hotel. Oh, and the AC is very loud so I had to turn it off to sleep.

    **Limited Airport Shuttle Hours**. Check with the hotel if you have an early or late flight. I made this mistake of booking this hotel and had a 640a flight and found out the hotel starts at 6A and I think stops around 9. Make sure you check hours and don’t pay a premium for an airport hotel and don’t get the benefit of it.

    Recently renovated rooms, very clean and comfortable with coffee machine and fridge. Bar and restaurant area a little basic and lacking in personality but a view into the kitchen was good and I had an excellent meal. The transfer to the terminals was actually to the Air Train which initially concerned me as I had an early check-in and it was the main reason that I was spending the night near JFK. My previous hotel stays took me to the terminals, however there are major road works and delays around the airport area so it could actually be best. Surprisingly it only took 30 minutes from hotel to Terminal 8 and that was the last stop. Although not as easy as a transfer to the terminal doors it was not difficult and the airtrain from the drop off to the terminals is free and well communicated.
