The AC units were not very good. They also would reset every 6 hours to 76 degrees.....

Loved my stay. Always a good time.

We chose this location because of the location. Super convenient to all the subway stations. We didn't really stay at the property much as we are out most part of the day and came back to sleep. There is no breakfast provided.

Everything was as expected except the bathroom door is a barn style door that refused to stay closed. Slid itself ooen every time and there was no latch. Ended up jamming a towel under it so it stayed. Everything else was good and clean.

The only thing I was upset with our hotel is that the tub wouldn’t drain while showering so when we took a shower the tub was filled with water up to our ankles and had to wait until it drained for the next person to shower

The water view was spectacular!! Location was great for getting anywhere in Manhattan on the subway. Amazing access and views to the Hudson River Parkway, bikes, East River, several piers, ferries and the Statue Of Liberty. The staff refused us water bottles. For a $4000.00 stay it would have been a nice gesture not to beg for water. Facilities were standard. The bar staff were very accommodating. We thought it very strange that you didn’t have to use your room key to access the elevator. I think this is somewhat unsafe?!
- 5/5
Solid stay. Knew it would be consistent and clean. Easy to travel from. Would recommend for a work or solo trip!
- 5/5
Nice clean room for one night!
- 4/5
The location is great. Very close to subway stations and practically on the water. The hotel itself is what you would expect for the price you pay. Our only issue was the water in the shower was scalding hot no matter which way you turned the dial. It never got cool. I didn’t bring it up to the staff. Don’t know if it was just our room or the hotel. Overall, I would stay here again but would check the shower temp before unpacking.

Quite a spacious room compared hotels of the similar category. Super helpful staff. Very convenient location to reach Midtown, Brooklyn , Staten Island ferry and NYC ferry is 2 min walk away Nothing in particular

The hotel is clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. The shower doesn’t adjust the water temp good at all. It went to scalding hot after I ran it then when I adjusted to cold, it won’t cool down the water. I had to wait there for 10 minutes or maybe more trying to adjust it either direction for the correct temp. Also, I had to check out since I wasn’t sure what time I’ll be back in the hotel after my race and had to change in one of the 2nd floor restrooms after I claimed my luggage at front desk and the restroom was not air-conditioned at all. I don’t understand how during a heat wave this restroom was not cooled down at all.
- 3/5
The hotel's location The view from the window The ability to leave our bags in the luggage storage free of charge Friendly staff We were not charged any extra fee for checking out a little later than scheduled There was no complimentary water in the room There was no tea in the room, only coffee The room was a bit cramped The shower was inconvenient: weak water pressure, and the showerhead was fixed to the wall, making it difficult to shower comfortably The water level in the toilet bowl was unusually high I couldn't lower the room temperature to the level I wanted The blankets were too warm It was impossible to air out the room because the windows couldn't be opened There were no hooks for jackets near the entrance There was no threshold at the entrance door The shower was not very clean
- 2/5
Kind staff. Really bad restaurant. Broken elevator. Surrounded by construction. Paid extra for a water view that required leaning against a wall and peeking around a building to see water.
- 4/5
The location is very nice, quiet in the room and the area with easy access to subway around and view of the water. Room was clean and bed was good. The plastic and paper cups in the room, no real drinking glasses. Also only 1 paper cup was available in the room, so had to make coffee in a flimsy plastic cup, which is not good.

The room was clean and the hotel was great overall just didn’t like I had to pay $70 to park in the garage across the street :( wish they had more parking options but I know for next time

The room was clean, but the bathroom door kept sliding open on its own, and one of the elevators was always out of order throughout the day by staff which constantly created a problem with wait time to go up and down being on the 19th floor. Also my key card sometimes had issues unlocking the door to the room.

Great location. Super clean. Friendly staff. Great value for NY. Rooms were a decent size for NY too! The elevators are slooow! And there are only two for such a large hotel. But it’s a minor inconvenience that you get over pretty quickly!

The main highlight was the great location. Staff were friendly. The room had a strong smell of marijuana when we arrived, to the point that we had to ask staff to clean it. The tap water was brown the first night, although it improved slightly the next day. The conditioner bottle was also empty, so we had to ask staff to refill it. Overall, it was a very average hotel — the main highlight was the great location.

I’m not sure if the windows were tinted, but it would be terrible if the people living in the condos across the street could see through our room. We could definitely see through the windows of their condo, and I hope they don’t see through ours either.

Great location. Employees (most of them) were not very friendly (looked bored). Room was super dark as it looked toward the hallway not outside. Pool looked old and dirty. Gym was nice but too hot as it is in the same space as spa. It was so hot that I had to leave.

- 5/5
Rooms were very clean, the whole place looks updated, it was super convenient to get to the subway and get around Manhattan, we even had some views of the water from our window, facing south. The hotel is right across from the Staten Island Ferry. And, it was very quick to walk to the Statue of Liberty ticket office (Castle Clinton Box Office) to pick up our pre-purchased tickets. It is not completely quiet but I doubt anywhere in the city is. It is definitely less crowded at night in that neighborhood so quieter than other places like Time Square, but you still hear sirens and construction going on around.

Good location. Safe. Good transport links. Clean and modern hotel. Helpful staff. Security deposit felt excessive but was all refunded after stay.
- 1/5
Good breakfast selection and very helpful and friendly staff The building is designed terribly. The floors are all wood tile so they echo every sound from the hallway into guest rooms at all hours. And the incessant loud a/c unit does not have a way to turn off just the fan so you are left either suffocating or having to fall asleep to a very loud a/c. I could not get a decent night’s rest.

The hotel location was a close walk to 3 different subway lines. The lobby was bright, comfortable and welcoming. They had coffee in the lobby in the mornings. I didn't like that Hilton doesn't award points if booked through booking.com. The front desk warned us but the shower in the accessible bathroom drained outside of the shower.

I walked in to get a room I reserved onlinr only for my reservations not to be there I was talking to a staff member at the desk that was there last time I try to get a room from this very same hotel and after seeing rooms available 10 mins prior whenI asked for a room he said they was booked this was on a random Tuesday now this time im having trouble with a reservations so they tell me to make it again so I made the reservations right there in front of them they gave me my room key only to go up stairs and my room key doesnt work so I go back down the stairs to let them know its not working for them to give me another room in the other side of the same floor which is now loccated adjust form the engineer room which for the two days i was there was consistently loud because staff members relentlessly when in and out of the room slamming the door its doesnt even make sense why have a room where staff members need to go in and out repeatedly near the guest

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn FiDi and had a great experience. The location was perfect — subway station nearby, the Uber shuttle stop was only about a 7-minute walk, and everything was very walkable. Wall Street was right around the block with tons of places to eat nearby. Even The Dead Rabbit was just down the street. Very nice place overall and super convenient for getting around NYC.

Very clean and friendly staff. Kay at the front desk was very sweet and helpful! Great location if you are planning to be in the Financial District. I selected a room with a city view on Expedia, but it's a side view only because the One New York Plaza building is right in front of the hotel. They moved me to a room with a Water view, which was great and very appreciated, but there is still the building blocking the view, it's a side view as well. All in all, a very nice hotel. Beds were super comfy!

The hotel is in a great location. Close to parking, steps from the subway, an easy walk to the Statue of Liberty ferry, and just minutes from the World Trade Center. The area felt very safe, even when coming back later in the evening, which made the whole experience even better. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable, and for New York, the price was surprisingly affordable without sacrificing quality. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the city. Safe, convenient, affordable, and exceptional service.

I stayed here recently with my fiancé and chose this hotel for its location and accessibility (right next to a metro station). The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet. I was also impressed with the staff attentiveness (checking in for a bag on my request and keeping the luggages secured until our flight). I highly recommend it!

Great spot in FiDi. Easy walk to the ferry, 9/11 and more food choices then you could eat in 2 lifetimes. Older and slightly worn, but clean and quiet. Would visit again.
- 5/5
My coffee machine didn't work. I have a Keurig and tried a couple times. Not a big deal, finding coffee in nyc is not exactly difficult, but would have been nice to have little something in the room. Should have reported it perhaps but that's not how I spend my vacation time.

Clean and right across the street from Staten Island Ferry, Starbucks and the train! Convienent location with eateries close by. We traveled with kids - bagels, coffee, pizza and full breakfast (George’s) were all within walking distance - along with the bull statue! Front desk staff was 10/10! They went out of their way to assist us - maps, calling for car service, providing recommendations. Admittedly, the rooms are a little small but within reason by NY standards.

All power outlets and USBs for charging phones on both sides of the bed were broken. Clogged sink and loose bathroom sliding door reported and got fixed by the technician. Terrible idea to place the ice maker by two rooms with annoying sound! Restaurant was poor in space and menu for dinner.

Excellent stay and exceeds value for price. Big rooms for New York Standard. Cleanly rooms with housekeeping every day. Large bathrooms and located in a quiet area right by the Staten Island Ferry. Only down side is that it’s about a 20-30 mins to Times Square and other popular location, however it’s near a subway where you can ride it all the way to your location with having to transfer subways. 10/10

Staff was great . The room was nice . A few things for comfort could be improved like the quality of the pillows and the comfort of the bed .
- 5/5
Great stay. Quiet area. Nice bodega nearby. Right across from the 1 train and the 2/3/R are nearby. Easy commuting.
- 5/5
Great experience
- 5/5
Walking into the lobby greeted with a smile by staff. Room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Nice size room and nicer size TV. My only criticism is the pillows leave a lot to be desired.
- 4/5
Great room, easy check in and check out. Everything went fine for my spur of the moment stay
- 5/5
Yes and spacious
- 5/5
Very kind staff. Nice amenities. Conveniently located.
- 1/5
parking was a night mare to start due to traffic and construction. once we were checked into our hotel the rooms had a stench to them, along with the refrigerator not working along with no storage for clothes, i felt like i lived out of my suitcase. once i had slept in the bed i felt as if things were crawling all over me within the night. the drink i ordered could of poisoned me with the over pour of alcohol. (espresso martini) along with horrible service in the morning breakfast during our last two nights/ tables were piled with dishes with no where to sit. i am very let down by this stay as i have only used hilton for business but this location was terrible.

The
- 3/5
Cleanliness and accessibility to all major touristy things were a plus. The day time front desk receptionists were great, even informed me what trains etc to use to get to places we were going. Night time receptionist Alecia I believe her name was, was rude. I checked in late which they knew ahead of time, she wasn’t even there to let me in hotel. Another guest had to knock on the office door to retrieve her. After that was a lot of eye rolling and sighing as if I had interrupted her important business of watching movies in the office. When I checked out this am at 2.15am the daytime receptionist had ordered me a vehicle, again had to interrupt her movie watching time to ask her if they come in or if I stand outside like with Ubers. She had no idea about the car for one, again sighing and lots more attitude and eye rolling. Eventually she just told me to sit down and she went back to her office. Tourists and guests alike do not go to hotels to deal with rude behavior from employees of a hotel, nor is it warranted considering that is her job! I can see why she is a nighttime receptionist, I would most certainly not want her having to deal with the majority of guests, very nasty attitude.
- 5/5
The staff was extremely helpful especially Victor and Martin. The room service was on point. The hotel is easy access to all restaurants and historical landmarks.
- 4/5
The staff were very kind.
- 5/5
Definitely coming back!
- 2/5
The city view that I paid extra for was of the backside of another building. There was no view. The room smelled funny. There was some other stuff, not worth mentioning wasn’t a great experience.

- 4/5
4th stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
- 5/5
The staff was super sweet! They safely stored our bags and luggage so that we could roam the city even prior to checking in and after we checked out. They also gave us a room on the 28th floor with a view of the Staten Island Ferry. Everything was great. My only point of concern was the price of the water offered at the hotel. $7-$10 for a bottle of water is too much and should be provided for a lower cost or as complementary to the room stay. Overall great stay though!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, the hotel was very clean and everyone made me feel welcomed :)

Nice!!
- 2/5
There was no notification sent in advance that the kitchen was closed so breakfast was not available this morning. I had to walk out of the building, through a construction zone that surrounds hotel ( in 28 degree temp) to get a mediocre egg sandwich at a deli and bring it back to hotel. The worst of it is that I didnt feel safe. The elevator didn't require me to tap my room card to get to my floor. I don't think I will stay here again regardless of the low cost. It was bad.
- 3/5
The hotel itself was in a convenient location in the financial district and was clean and updated. There was construction in front of the building that made access difficult and there was only a self-park option, so checking in with luggage was challenging. While the double room was advertised to sleep 4, the beds were full beds which could only comfortably fit one person. Given the situation, we asked about whether the hotel had roll-away beds, but they did not. Accordingly, the double room was not worth the additional cost compared to the king room.

The restaurant was closed. They chose to steamclean the carpets on superbowl sunday, so I couldn’t watch the game in the lobby. On Sunday walking out of the horel front entrance I nearly busted my ass on an ice patch. The worker there saw me almost fall with my cane and immediately attended to me and chopped the ice up. Staff was super friendly. Also the entire sidewalk was closed and very icy.

The closet in the room (standard, King bed) was extremely small. It was barely wide enough to hang a shirt. And despite the small size they thought it was a good idea to shove the iron and the ironing board in there too which made it very hard to access your clothes. Also, don't waste money on getting a room with water view. I was on the last floor and could only see the water by looking at a sharp angle. The view is pretty much blocked by a very wide tall building.
- 5/5
Clean room , staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 1/5
This has to he one of the worst experiences ive ever had in a hotel. It was not heat i had to sleep in my clothes. The towel and wash rags was dirty with stains. The shower had hair in it, my check out was for 1pm manager walked in the room to see what time i was leaving. Completely unprofessional. No breakfast... i actually would like a refund
- 4/5
Staff was courteous and accommodate a very early check-in (11:30am).
- 3/5
I paid for five morning breakfast but the restaurant was closed for renewal. They have told me to discuss with you. You should not have charged me for service I have not gotten.
- 3/5
There was no restaurant at the hotel

Everything was so perfect! Definitely recommend this stay!

First I know I requested ocean view but never get it, next was the room we got the when showering the water come out on the room . End up getting a next room but one floor down . But to top it off paid for breakfast and never got because kitchen was down . Just imagine our trip first to New York and the storm . Staff was great still . But my stay there wasn’t what I expected.
- 5/5
The best hotel I have ever stayed at! Everything was amazing
- 5/5
Room clean and good sized -- staff courteous -- good location being close to 2 different subway lines (4/5 and 1).
- 5/5
People at front desk were amazing!!
- 4/5
Clean room and early check in
- 5/5
All the staff was nice an helpful specially Milton he definitely went the extra mile to help with everything an any questions we had.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
All was good in the room. Only negative is that the dining room at breakfast was freezing.
- 2/5
Stains on the carpet, walls, and sink vanity. Shower had poor water flow, and the shower head needs a deep cleaning. Fridge didn’t work. Close to multiple subways, and beautiful water views. The room was small. I wouldn’t return due to the hotel’s poor upkeep.
- 4/5
Front desk was amazing. I think her name was Kay.
- 1/5
I was charged and booked waterfront rooms. I was put in room 2201. That faces the back of the building looking at other high-rises.
- 4/5
Clean room. But the construction in fry the hotel is terrible.
- 3/5
The hotel is very outdated. Location is great but needs a lot of work, from the rooms, to the hallways (mainly hallways as they have an odd odor and stains). The room are small and have the basics. The feedback is also jagged as each of my 3 nights we had either the fire alarm go off, without any notice or why and having an issue with the pipes were they had to change me rooms. With all these issues, we got no apologies no rectifying, etc.
- 5/5
Great hotel and great location. Wish the gym was bigger. But it works
- 5/5
good staff, convenient location.
- 3/5
Staff were friendly. I was staying in room 610 and the shower head barely worked, water barely came out and pillows were not comfortable. Over stay was ok.
- 5/5
Great location !
- 5/5
Fire alarm went off 2 nights in a row early morning
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, quiet area on weekends, easy access to Statue of Liberty ferry, subway stations and Seastreak ferry to NJ
- 3/5
The room was fine, hotel was typical, but there was a fire alarm going off every morning around 6 am and also during the day. Then fire department would come and talk loudly in the hallway. They said it was a malfunction the first, and then the kitchen the second night. It was very loud and scary way to be woken up, and if you were hoping to sleep in, not very pleasant.
- 3/5
The fire alarm went off two mornings (6am) in a row. It really affected our sleep for the weekend. The room could use a sound machine to help with outside noise like the street and closing doors in the hall.

i don't know about bar and any of that.. Just that they have one of the best most friendly and accommodating staffs in new york city and surrounding boroughs. And i and also through my account, my daughter have stayed there before but also stayed at over 70 hotels in NYC.. and i actually LIVE there.. ha!. thanks

Check-in was very smooth and the person at the desk was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the view of the water was wonderful!
- 4/5
Hotel has a great location.
- 5/5
My stay at the Hilton was absolutely excellent. The staff was incredibly friendly and made check-in quick and seamless. The room was spotless and I really appreciated the staff reaching out via message to ensure everything was going well during my stay. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring New York City’s most famous attractions. This was my first stay at the Hilton and I will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
- 4/5
Great location across the street from Battery Park. The hotel staff was nice and accommodating!
- 5/5
All the staff were super helpful and very friendly. The beds were very comfortable. We had our 95 year old mother with us and we needed adjoinig room and they easily and quickly made that happen for us. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and spotless. The hotel location is very good, walking distance to 4 different subway stations and 7 different subway lines.
- 4/5
staff was helpful and friendly
- 4/5
My family and I enjoyed our stay. Our only issue was that our towels and toilet paper weren’t fully replenished. So that was a bit of an issue, but other than that the stay was great, staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great location and staff!
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great location, close to public transportation. Restaurant food 3 out of 5
- 3/5
Staff was friendly. However, when taking a shower, the water was cold as ice or scalding hot. The bar/resturant was under stock. Our friends ordered and paid for coffee. They said the coffee was cold. The hotel shut down one of the elevators for cleaning crew during high traffic times. i.e, folks checking in or out.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and well serviced

Excellent check in, free bottles of water after the long flight from the uk. Room ready. Cleanliness and facilities 10/10
- 2/5
The room was mostly okay, great view, the staff was friendly. Unfortunately it was snowing the first night we got there, me and my wife decided to go out for food. I ended up slipping on the stairs leading into the hotel. The snow wasnt shoveled nor was there any salt on the steps.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome
- 5/5
Everything about this property is great except there is no breakfast. I liked the location and cleanliness and the service
- 5/5
Cuartos limpios los empleados muy amables y el desayuno muy bueno, volvería a hospedarme
- 5/5
Close proximity of the room to the elevator and the hotel to the ferry landing.
- 3/5
Toilet was leakng
- 5/5
It was our 2nd stay here. Clean, comfy and quiet rooms once more. Refrigerator, microwave and safe are a big win too. Subway station is opposite the hotel. Had a minor leak in the shower which was repaired within 5 minutes of notifying reception. The reception team was great with check-in, check-out and other needs. Will return again.
- 5/5
Amazing!
- 4/5
Good location, clean rooms, helpful staff. Elevators were slow and food at the restaurant was not cooked properly. Not a good value.
- 5/5
Amazing stay, prime location and plenty of things to do!
- 5/5
Martin was great! Would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Did not have breakfast
- 5/5
The room was spacious and clean and the view was amazing.
- 3/5
It was never mentioned that there was construction in front of the main entrance making it very difficult to get to the front door. There was no extra pillows in the room at all. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
- 2/5
Stains on the walls, room was very small, toilet seat was lopsided and uneven, sink in bathroom was about to fall apart and sprayed water all over you as soon as you turned it on. This place needs a lot repairs and a lot of updates. Construction directly in front of hotel.
- 5/5
Good
- 3/5
Staff were lovely but the room service wasnt available despite it being advertised, lift not working properly and airconditioning to working in dining room.
- 5/5
Our room had a lovely ocean view with a view of Brooklyn. A nice bonus that they offer is early check-in at no extra cost if a room is available, and they’ll hold your luggage after check-out if you need to explore before heading to the airport.
- 5/5
The room, staff and amenities were great! I always love staying here and will continue doing so.
- 5/5
excellent
- 4/5
Room 504 can’t plug in hair dryer in bathroom outlet because body lotion is in the way. Other than that it was all fine.
- 1/5
Terrible experience. When you take a shower the “open shower” is disgusting and goes all over the bathroom floor. Might as well stayed in a college dorm. Dirty floors, dirty towels. Horrible. Will never be back
- 5/5
Great staff and location. Clean and nice.
- 3/5
We payed for a city view & there was no city view. Should of saved a couple of $$$$$
- 3/5
Staff was very courteous but hotel is just not worth its price tag!
- 5/5
Our stay was great. Staff was super accommodating and we were able to check in to our room before the standard check in time. Room service was great and they cleaned our room everyday. Was super close to the 1,2 ans W train. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. Martin goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and special.
- 4/5
Satisfactory stay. Only con was lack of daily drinking water - but they had dispensers in the gym so that helped. The front desk was also kind enough to help me with my luggage because they don’t have bellboys.
- 5/5
Thanks for a lovely stay
- 1/5
Liked that it was close to subway.
- 3/5
Bathroom needed TLC lots of constructions around make access a pain. Plus you can’t enjoy the vicinity due to all the construction

Clean room, staff very friendly and very nice, good location excellent to go to liberty statue, good view I love it
- 5/5

- 3/5
The overall condition of the hotel is not very good. The staff is very cordial. Location great -- close to subway, Battery Park .. deli and grocery right next door.
- 5/5
Martin at the front desk was very helpful get transportation heading to the airport.
- 2/5
We were very disappointed with the overall cleanliness of this hotel. The common-area carpets looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in days, and during our entire stay I never once saw a vacuum in use. The windows in our room were extremely dirty — when the morning sun hit them, it was clear they hadn’t been cleaned in a very long time. As someone with over 35 years of experience in custodial operations, it was hard not to notice the lack of basic cleaning standards expected from a Hilton property. The building feels aged, dark, and not well maintained, and the surrounding construction only adds to the rundown atmosphere. Staff were polite, but the housekeeping quality fell far below what we’re used to, especially coming from the Bay Area where hotel cleanliness standards are much higher. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet our expectations.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean. Staff was very respectful. The city view should be a lot less since it only looks out into other buildings around it not the actual city. Extremely windy area, but lots of local food.
- 5/5
Great and clean property
- 2/5
We did our own housekeeping and told ourselves it's just for two nights and went to the front desk for missing amenities. Needless to say we are disappointed with our decision and although it is located conveniently to the metro, ferry, and some extras, we will seek better accommodations as the cost per night w/ taxes was only $21.00 dollars from $300.00 a night (not cheap). Two ☆☆ stars a hotel should always provide a clean room regardless of price. ☹️
- 5/5
The only thing I didn't like was... the room was in a weird spot.
- 5/5
We had an excellent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - the room was spacious for a New York hotel with a fantastic view and close to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only criticism I had was that the barn-door-style bathroom door is extremely hard to close. We were also able to tip the staff electronically which is something I have been hoping to see for years!
- 4/5
Didn't like room location.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff was attentive.
- 3/5
Front desk extremely nice and helpful, room was decent however the carpet was dirty and stained
- 3/5

- 4/5
Courteous staff. Quiet area
- 4/5
Yes very friendly staff
- 5/5
Great stay, really comfortable room, check in staff were super helpful. Only rated staff down by one star because my colleagues and I got accused of stealing from the shop one night… it’s a self service shop, we had paid and were walking away, then got questioned by the girl on the check in desk in an accusatory way. Should also add she was too busy chatting to colleagues to notice if we’d paid, so we didn’t appreciate this interaction. Suggestion is to improve your system rather than accuse paying guests.
- 4/5
Parts of the bed felt like it was going to break when we sat on it, the shower water temperature went from boiling to freezing randomly and the bathroom door track was broken
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay with my and my son. Close to subways and restaurants <3
- 5/5
Ms. Kay at the front desk was very welcoming. She went above and beyond to get me the room I wanted.
- 5/5
Great location and easy to get around.
- 5/5
Staff member Gerson treats customers with utmost professionalism and courtesy. He takes time to tell customers all the services the hotel offers including member rewards and also restaurants available in the area. Good service, the view and location were the main highlights. Will recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Great experience.
- 3/5
Yes the food was ok but the guy taking food order was very unfriendly (11/7/25). He never smile to any customer. It seems he doesnt want to work there and not happy with his job.
- 5/5
Second time staying there. I can’t say enough good things about all the staff and how accommodating they are. The rooms are great and the location of the hotel and views are amazing. Will stay again.
- 5/5
Clean and super helpful staff

Very Clean, staff was helpful. We would stay there again. The only hang up we had at check in was they were late to check us in. We requested an early check in- they said okay we will call you. They called said our room was ready early. We showed up and room wasn't ready. We ultimately checked in after normal hotel check in time. It's fine just wasn't ideal. They apologized and it was a peaceful stay!

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in the Financial District, New York City, was absolutely perfect! The hotel is very comfortable, located in a great area with easy access to everything. It’s spotless clean, and the rooms are surprisingly spacious — especially for New York! The staff and service were exceptional — everyone was super friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. We truly felt well taken care of from start to finish. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Staffs are funny
- 5/5
It was a pretty convenient location, very close from different subway, routes, and sightseeing spots. Hotel was clean and comforting, and the staff was very helpful.
- 4/5
Things we were fond of: - the sliding bathroom door was really hard to open and close - don't bother eating [breakfast] at the restaurant. Coffee had grounds in it. Not enough staff to keep it picked up. Impersonal. Breakfast wasn't worth the price.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and great location close to the subways and restaurants
- 5/5
location was awesome
- 5/5
Great stay, friendly staff and convenient location.
- 4/5
The room was very quiet, unlike some other hotels in Manhattan. One bonus is that the hotel is across the street from the Staten Island Ferry building, which has a lot of fast food restaurants. That can be convenient sometimes.
- 4/5
Room next to cleaner closet, constantly opening and closing door
- 5/5
Overall great stay. Staff was friendly and attentive. Views from room were great. No complaints, would stay there again.
- 4/5
Location and staff are great. Hotel needs to be updated. We had trouble with things in the room not working properly.
- 5/5
It was a great stay for the 2 nights that we stayed there.
- 5/5
The room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy and Bathroom nice. Coffee machine was a nice touch! All round nice stay - will stay here again if return to the city.
- 1/5
There is so many cockroaches in our hotel room and we told the staff about it and they’re just doing nothing about it. They just say sorry and that’s it.
- 5/5
Perfect stay. Close to sunway and Staten Island ferry. Delicious food in walking distance.
- 5/5
Had a great stay at the hotel. It was very convenient for all we wanted to do. Quiet at night. All staff were excellent from check-in with Kay who was so efficient with our 4 room check-in and getting us in early. Martin was so helpful with check-in and check out. Housekeeping was great and accommodating. Really appreciate the staff!!
- 5/5
It was a great stay in the financial district. It was very convenient to all we wanted to do. Quiet at night. All staff were fantastic. Great check-in with Kay on our 4 rooms, extremely efficient. Martin was a big help throughout, check-in and checkout. Really appreciate all staff at the hotel, housekeeping as well.
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Hotel was nice and loved the bar and amenities. Was sadly disappointed about paying a room upgrade for city view - with no view of the city. I would have just paid for the regular room.
- 5/5
close to great restaurants, the subway, and the waterfront. The staff were warm and professional, and the room was spotless and comfortable. It felt modern yet welcoming. I’d definitely stay here again
- 4/5
This was the perfect location to take the ferry and explore. The staff was kind and responded in a timely manner. The facility was clean and well kept. We enjoyed our stay here.
- 5/5
I didn’t have breakfast so can’t say anything about it
- 4/5
Good transport links in to midtown, area is a lot more relaxed than staying there
- 5/5
Good sized room for NYC!
- 5/5
Excellent restaurant and breakfast options. Great location.
- 3/5
Perfect location. Close to Battery park and the ferry to Statue of Liberty. The room is small with 2 double beds for a party of 3. Excellent breakfast with cook to order. Not free. Convenient to subway and shop
- 4/5
Would like staff to have offered a map of the area , a list of recommendations to eat , directions how to work the remote, offered water in the lobby and have the weather channel up on one of the screens
- 4/5
Would stay again but wish it wasn’t so difficult to navigate through the streets - maps keeps directing and redirecting at every block. Walking places take longer than it should with the constant changes likely due to so many buildings .
- 5/5
Great feeling back home.
- 3/5
Friendly and attentive staff at a check in time that was busy…room was relatively spacious for NY - property was updated, but bathroom had many spots of mildew (although it had clearly been cleaned) - Even though we were on an upper most floor on the backside of the hotel, we heard lots of street and hallway noise in addition to a loud ventilation/HVAC system - none of this was the fault of the housekeeping or hospitality team - just the nature of being in NY.
- 5/5
I just loved the location of this property. It was so convenient for all of our activities including the ferry to Staten Island. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly and accommodating. The room is pretty small but not unexpected for NYC. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
- 3/5
Great location. Older rooms that were quite small. Shower kept fluctuating ting between scalding and freezing every couple of minutes. Quite expensive for what it was. Maybe that’s just nyc.
- 4/5
Excellent location for an NYC pre-cruise visit for a cuise departing out of Brooklyn Red Hook. The hotel is close to Pier 11 ferry which we took to Ref Hook, as well as the subway. It is very near Fraunces Tavern, Stone Street, 911 Memorial, Battery Park, Wall Street plus many other lower Manhattan visiting options. The rooms were clean, but not very big and the closet was small. We made them work. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions.
- 4/5
Friendly staff , clean room , comfortable beds
- 5/5
Staff were very helpful, room was clean with beautiful view and very quiet.
- 3/5
Staff was helpful when i had a super late check-in due to delayed flight.
- 4/5
Lovely room, good size for NYC and very clean. Fridge and coffee machine in room. Great location for me to visit the Statue of Liberty, walkable to 9/11 memorial and right next to the Staten Island ferry. Was able to leave suitcases at check out. Lost a star as they didn't reply to my messages about whether I could have a package delivered.
- 5/5
Friendly helpful staff especially at reception. Room was clean with an excellent view.

They have super nice front counter people and nice and clean. Except the dining. The hotel provides optional dinner and breakfast service. Both service and quality was flat.

Great stay

Room desperately needed upgrading … restaurant was very expensive … wi-fi and internet service was poor
- 5/5
Clean room, nice water view from the room, location is close to Battery Park and ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Also near Fulton where restaurants and bakeshops are located. Also walking distance to the Seaboard and subway station.

I stayed here for my birthday, the staff here are so welcoming and kind. I loved my room, I had a good view of the city. 10/10 will recommend.

This was our third time at this Hilton and we will be back. Great job!!

I liked how safe the location was. Super close to the subway. Clean. Hot showers. Would definitely stay again as long as the price was right!

Staff was great. Construction and noise outside was loud.
- 5/5
Great bang for your buck for NYC!!
- 4/5
Subway stations close to the hotel. Lots of places nearby to eat and have fun. Rooms are clean and spacious.
- 5/5
Great location, great staff service, nice room. End of the line subway station one block away. Walking distance to most anything you need. There were lots of activities on the streets and pier nearby. Highly recommend. 9/11 museum two stops up the subway.

This is a good choice for a reliable no frills accommodation in New York. Book a water view to enhance your stay. Walkable to the Tin Building and east side parks. Directly across from the train stop with plenty of parking around.

The staff were all friendly. The food was good and inexpensive. A housekeeper knocked 4 times on my 1st day. I kept asking her to empty the trash. She would say, "Later." The 2nd day the trash was overflowing. I needed fresh towels. I got a text asking about my stay. I wrote about the issues. Someone responded that housekeeping couldn't enter my room if I was there. I was working and had no intention of leaving my room. They said to inform them when I would be out. My third day, I messaged the I was going to be out from 11:30 to 1:30. They wrote back that they were notifying housekeeping. The trash was piled up from room service boxes and beverage containers. I had no clean towels. I returned at 1:15. My room had not been touched. I wrote to the manager. No response. A housekeeper knocked at 1:42. I was expecting a friend at 2 and wasn't going to leave my room. I wrote to the manager. No response. Another note. No response. I was going out briefly at 4:00. I asked at the front desk to speak to a manager. She apologized and contacted housekeeping. I returned. A housekeeper was in my room. I (a disabled person) had to stand in the hall 5 minutes before I could enter my room. I still haven't received a response to my texts from anyone. I have never heard of a hotel prohibiting someone from emptying the trash or changing the towels if the guest is in the room. They should have mentioned that it was possible if a supervisor came to the room.

It was just what we needed at a reasonable price

1. The gym has 2 treadmills but only 1 was working the whole week I was there. Made it really inconvenient to to run, especially with how packed the gym was in the morning. 2. There were multiple outlets in my room that just weren’t working. 3. The water temperature in the shower was very unpredictable. Would either be scorching hot or room Temperature warm when turned all the way to the hottest setting. 4. One of the ac units in my room was broken, and the other one was now blowing cold air consistently. Had to get a technician sent up to fix it (they were really good about getting someone up quickly). 5. The room is really small but that’s not a big deal, was still very clean and pleasant. Overall I had a good stay here and would for sure stay here again!

Nice facility, with many convenient public transport options (bike, subway, bus, taxi) to the airport and downtown. We would like to stay there for the next trip.
- 5/5
Everything was great. The staff were very attentive and mindful and everything was so clean.
- 5/5
We received a warm welcome and the front desk team was genuinely friendly.
- 5/5
No phone chargers. Just change the outlets to have ports for usb
- 3/5
Both the shower door and the door to the bathroom weren't even plumb so they would not close properly. That meant water all over the bathroom floor when you took a shower. Door to the bathroom was a slider and would only stay partially closed. The bathroom door is only 5 ft. from the bed so it was a little awkward as far as privacy goes.
- 5/5
Easy check in and friendly staff
- 5/5
The staff super nice and always help you when you have a question. The only thing the bathroom didn’t work like hundred percent, but they help us to fix it.

Great time here , I’ll be back next month!!

Overall my stay was very nice. But be warned that the rooms are small and narrow and the while the A/C does work, it isn’t very good.

Great location as its located a block from battery patk and subway stations. The shower door could not close properly so we had to use lots of towels keep floor dry.

We had a great stay here. Staff was pleasant and quickly accommodated two requests we had. Location is perfect- close to ferries to Staten Islahd and Rockaway, just a block from subway stops: lots of nice restaurants and taverns nearby. We will stay again.

Staff named Gerson was excellent in providing customer service. He was very attentive to customer needs and treated the customer with utmost respect.

Nice and quiet.

This was one of the cheapest hotels we could find in New York but it was great! Room was silent even though outside was NYC busy which made sleeping easy. Beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. Location was great, battery park on the door step and lots of easy access to subway to go uptown. Would stay again.

The staff here particularly Imran on reception are wonderfully polite and friendly. This gentleman was incredibly helpful giving us so many tips about locations and routes to take. He single handedly made us feel safe and secure when leaving the hotel following his guidance. I was slightly disappointed that the hotel did not have a restaurant with more of a sit down dining service as opposed to a self service vibe. I only visited it once as a consequence and the restrooms in that area for ladies were extremely dirty and unclean which didn’t match the cleaning in all other areas. I think a timed monitored system should be invoked here as this must be the location that the bar staff and chef use so that put me off using this location again. This is the reason that I reduced a category to four instead of five stars. Apart from that this stay prior to our cruise was perfect.

Staff was a great help and we got a nice view I will definitely rebooking again soon
