Good location for all our activities. I wish it was not under construction though.

stayed there during the NBA finals and the start of FIFA/world cup... excellent location; subway entrance to BDFM/ACE just down the street. only complaints are the construction outside the building (resurfacing the walls), and for much of one day (wednesday) they shut off power to two elevators and only one was operable, which caused lengthy delays.

This morning I was also awoken twice, 15 minutes apart, while still asleep at 9am by the maid service. The manager was not contrite, after two conversations. The trip started poorly and ended poorly. I won’t be staying here again.

Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues that detracted from the overall experience. The heating system in the room was quite loud and frequently disrupted our sleep during the night. More disappointingly, my friend had arranged a surprise birthday cake to be delivered to my room. Due to a mistake by the hotel, the cake was handed directly to me, completely spoiling the surprise. My friend had put considerable effort into organising this special gesture and was understandably upset by what happened. While the staff apologised for the mistake, the response felt somewhat nonchalant given the circumstances. It would have been nice to see some effort made to acknowledge the error and help make up for the disappointment, especially as it was a special occasion. Overall, the property has many positives, but greater attention to guest requests and a more proactive approach to service recovery would have made for a much better experience.

The staff in both check in and check out were very pleasant and accommodating. We came in from Boston on Amtrak and walked to the hotel with luggage easily. The location is in a great area and even walking to Times Square was easy. Subway was very close. City view was nice. I would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
overall enjoyed my stay. Place was clean and the service to go to my room and make my bed and give me new towels did a great job. At first the bathroom had a few toothpaste stains around the sink (very minor) which threw me off at first but besides that, I was very satisfied with my stay and overall the experience.
- 3/5
The breakfast is apparently managed by a third-party vendor, and they have a very unusual policy where guests are only allowed one main item, one side, and one coffee or juice. There are no refills and no second servings, which completely contradicts the idea of an unlimited buffet or a full breakfast. I travel frequently and have stayed at many hotels, but I have never encountered a breakfast setup with such restrictive rules while being marketed as a buffet. The advertising is misleading, and guests should be aware of what they are actually getting before booking. If you’re expecting a traditional hotel breakfast buffet with unlimited options and servings, you will likely be disappointed.
- 5/5
The price was reasonable, the location was perfect (Knicks - MSG) and the room was just great. The room and bathroom was completely up to date without having that made-over look or feel. Staff was extremely friendly. It was a great stay. I’ve already booked a return visit.

- 4/5
Great location, right next to subway station and close to food and shopping facilities - macy's, target etc. Nice room with coffee machine and microwave. Despite there being 3 lifts, the wait from our floor could be quite lengthy (floor 15), especially during the morning. Lift interior also rather dated looking. It would have been helpful on check in, for staff to have explained the facilities available - gym, shop etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great location for our touring around New York city.

Amazing stay in a very convenient part of town. The hotel was very clean, quiet, and well managed. No issues at all. Bathroom and room were clean and well stocked. They have a separate luggage room for your luggage if you check in early and want to walk around before you can actually check in. Pricing in the little grocery snack area was very reasonable. Everyone was nice and professional. Highly recommend this hotel especially for the price.
- 5/5
Hiccups of course are to be expected, and during this stay they included uneven info on when the refurbished gym would open, a loud room air fan, and elevator service that in one instance had me stuck in the lobby for 15-20 minutes in the lobby for help getting to the 22nd floor.
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel right in the heart of midtown next to Empire State building clean safe and comfortable. I wasn’t thrilled that they charged me $14 for a cup of coffee in the lobby.

It would only be fair that these details are given to potential guests ahead of time. Also, expedia should include the parking price in the hotel charge.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable, with two double beds , there was plenty of space to relax and store my luggage. The room was well maintained, and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. One of the highlights of my stay was the view from my room. I could see the Empire State Building right outside my window, which made the experience feel even more special and memorable. The location was excellent—just a short walk from Herald Square subway station and about three minutes from Macy's, There were also plenty of restaurants, food stores, cafes, and shops nearby, which made dining and shopping very convenient. I would like to give special thanks to Anna for her outstanding assistance. My flight was rescheduled, and I needed to extend my stay by one more night, making my visit a total of four nights. Anna was incredibly helpful in arranging the extension and ensuring everything was handled smoothly. Her kindness, professionalism, and excellent customer service made a stressful situation much easier to manage. Overall, I had a wonderful four-night stay and would gladly recommend this hotel to others because of its spacious rooms, fantastic location, beautiful view, convenient amenities, and exceptional service. Although breakfast was not included in the room rate, the hotel has a convenient store in the reception area where guests can easily purchase snacks, drinks, and other essentials at any time.

The only negative were the people in the lobby trying to get you to sign up for Hilton membership points every day. I will stay here again!!

We got the double bed on 301. The room wars perfect for 3 travelers. The restroom was clean. The water was great! The toilet was clean. I know… who checks the toilet? Apparently, I do. I can’t just go anywhere. The AC was working strong! The beds were clean and super comfortable! I slept like a log. No noise woke me up. The location is great! Walking distance to anywhere and everywhere you would want to go! A subway station is right at the end of the street. The staff were super friendly and gave us bottled waters too! The staff welcomed us when we walked in and said good morning/afternoon/evening when we came down to go out. Overall, definitely deserves a 10/10!

The room was nice & the cleaning staff were very helpful and accommodating. Also, my wife is Korean and kids are 1/2 Korean, so being two blocks from Koreatown was comforting and an easy fix when we needed some spicy ramen on a cold, rainy New York City March day. In short, it was probably the best, cleanest, most convenient and affordable location we could have chosen, found, & used as our homebase during our East Coast & New York City Spring Break trip. Highly recommend this location of Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan.
- 3/5
Very convenient location but overnight garbage trucks very loud on the street on lower floors.
- 5/5
They had an area to store your luggage if you arrive before check in or leave after check out time, which was noon, so they don’t rush you out! We don’t know what our original room would have looked like, but they said they gave us an upgrade. The hotel location was near one of the subway entrances so that was convenient. Our coffee maker wasn’t working for us and they didn’t have anyone to help, but had a coffee machine we could use.

Excellent professional & friendly employees across the board. The room was super clean and comfortable, with a great shower. The ac doubled as a CONSISTENT & effective white noise machine - the kind that doesn’t wake you up several times, as we’ve often experienced with several other hotels. We definitely recommend this location.
- 5/5
Female/ travelling solo/ stayed here for 6 nights. Highly recommend. Location is fantastic with major subway lines a stone's throw from the hotel. Right off Herald Sq so there's plenty of people and foot traffic (but not crazy like Times Sq area). Numerous places to eat close by. Easy to get to many NYC attractions by foot or subway. Hotel was very clean, staff is professional and knowledgeable. Asked for a quiet room and Hilton delivered. Room was spotless. Would stay here again without hesitation.

First time at this hotel bc HP one street over was booked up. Location is fantastic w quick subway connection in all directions minutes away and great restaurants nearby. We always stay in Koreatown. Were upgraded to Empire State Building view which is always nice to have. We had THE WORST water pressure of any hotel we have ever stayed at, barely a tinkle and hotel was not full. AC unit was extremely loud even in remodeled room on 26th fl. Reviews are spot on! Bathroom is average size for this price point, very small. Hotel staff allows aggressive pursuit by tour solicitors in lobby. Pay a little more and stay at HP if available.

The staff was completely unprofessional. Not only did they treat us rudely when they could not provide a King Bed, they lied and told us that we were “upgraded” then placed us in a two full bed room. We also left our suitcases with them for an hour and they did not tag them and just told us to place them in a room. When we came back to pick them up, the woman at the front desk who helped us earlier made an issue saying that the bags needed to be tagged but we never received tags. She told us that it was OUR fault and that she would have “never told us to just place our bags in the room without a tag.” After proving our identities with the airport tags we had the bags they finally handed us our belongings. Will never come back to this completely rude staff ever again. 0/10

Location is perfect and the view was great, we asked for the Empire State Building view and it was accommodated which we very much appreciated. The hotel does feel like it needs some renovation in general. I would also strongly suggest adding at least slippers to the rooms. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good, although I felt the room cleaning could have been better. It was still acceptable overall. The biggest downside for me was the staff experience, mainly at reception. I didn’t find them particularly welcoming or friendly; instead, they seemed extremely tired and uninterested in providing a good level of service. Our check-in felt rushed, with no explanation whatsoever — basically just “pay and that’s it.” There was also an odd situation when my mum wanted to buy water. She was simply pointed towards where to get it, with no explanation of how or where to pay. Not everyone speaks English fluently or is familiar with the New York way of doing things, so spending one minute to properly help a guest would make a huge difference. There were around four people at reception talking amongst themselves rather than assisting, and in the end we just left the water there because we didn’t know how to pay for it. One staff member even seemed concerned that my mum was leaving without paying, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary considering guests are paying thousands to stay at this hotel. On the positive side, the host staff, cleaning staff, and luggage gentleman were all lovely and welcoming.

Staff found us a room when we arrived at 1 pm. Room was large for a NY hotel. Had everything needed, including safe, refrigerator, and pin lights on each side of bed. Particularly liked the lights on each side of bathroom mirror. Only thing the room lacked was a magnifying mirror.
- 4/5
Great location, yes it’s noisy and sirens will be around everywhere.. but that’s the trade off in being in midtown manhattan. Staff were great, room was clean and very comfortable. Staff were so helpful in allowing me to have a package sent to the hotel prior to my stay. Being woken up at 9am by housekeepers knocking on the door quite hard.. twice. Learnt our lesson by putting up the DND sign.

This hotel, located in Koreatown is a perfect option in terms of convenience. It is close to the subway station and several eateries, not to mention that it's a stone's throw away from the iconic Macy's Herald Square. The staff was pleasant and extremely helpful. The housekeeping service was prompt, thorough and efficient. We booked a standard king room and was upgraded to an empire view room. Of course the view did not disappoint. The room was a little tight but we did not spend any great amount of time in it, just for sleeping, I would like to think of it as cosy. The water pressure in the bathroom was strong. My only real criticism is that there was not much storage, there was the closet for outerwear and luggage and a cupboard under the TV to hold clothing etc. No drawers in the night stands or anywhere else, so items were left exposed on the counter tops. The in-room safe was useful to secure laptops, travel docs and extra cash. Very grateful for the convenience of a microwave and mini refrigerator, which came in handy to store and reheat leftovers and which also afforded us the option to purchase and chill our own refreshments. We also had packages delivered to the hotel throughout our stay, which they gladly received and forwarded to us. Hilton Garden Inn contributed a great deal to the success of our trip and we shall be returning.

The only thing that I was not a big fan of was breakfast. It's a bit confusing, as some rooms came with continental breakfast and others did not. It seemed expensive for a breakfast that was not great, even by NYC standards. We went to Panera a couple of blocks away after that first day for a more enjoyable breakfast. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Didn’t buy the breakfast option, as we typically like a lighter bf. There are so much around, we found we liked to try different bakeries to eat a light bf to start our day. The view was beautiful, we didn’t hear any of the outside construction or traffic. Our room was spacious enough for 3 adults. My only thing was that the pillows weren’t to my liking, but we managed. The front desk stuff were excellent however, room services were wanting. The Chinese lady kept dressing the bed without cleaning the room. Also I was disappointed that booking.com didn’t clarify to me that I didn’t have breakfast including in my booking. $280+ per day without breakfast is absurd! About coming back there? NOPE! House keeping I guess after realising that it’s a black person in the room it was never cleaned other than dressing the bed! The beddings are very old and too soft a bed to sleep in for health reasons. The duvet is fit for throwing away.

The staff was very unhelpful. Before check-in, we informed them that this was a business trip, and I provided all the necessary information required for the invoice. This is very important due to local tax regulations—if the required information is missing from the invoice, we may be subject to penalties from the tax authorities. Before check-out, I received the invoice; however, some of the required information was missing. The receptionist advised me to return later, assuring me that the issue would be corrected. When we returned, all the previously provided information had been removed from the invoice and replaced with “XXX.” As a result, the invoice is unusable for tax purposes. The staff then stated that they could not modify the invoice after check-out and were unwilling to resolve the issue. After further discussion, it turned out that they were able to make some changes, and I received a partially corrected invoice—but it still does not contain all the necessary information.

Good breakfast
- 5/5
The property was under renovations, which we appreciate, but it caused some common spaces to be unusable and extra time to wait on elevators, etc while workers were using elevators to move materials. Our room was newly renovated and felt very clean. We love the location. It was a great experience.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
El personal demasiado atento, la ubicación es la mejor, y las habitaciones the best
- 5/5
Location was great, room was great, I enjoyed the hotel and they were very nice!
- 3/5
The room was tight and not very clean, especially for over $300 for 1 night. We booked a king and received 2 double beds. Hotel staff just wanted to get done so didn't provide information about amenities or anything else. I wouldn't bother to stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was decent, seemed clean, and the shower was nice with excellent water pressure. Our corner room was super quiet. The noon checkout was a nice bonus, even if we still had to leave early. The room was on the small side. The only source of light really was opening the curtains, because the lamps were pitiful. The location is a bit scary at night. The front is a tad worn or dusty or something that makes the hotel seem worse than it is.
- 5/5
view of empire state building and you can open the window a few inches which is great!
- 5/5
Clean room. Staff willing to handle requests. Staff has great attitude. Room temp perfect- can be set hot ir cold. Amazing view of Empire State building.
- 4/5
This is a decent value for the money in mid-town. The rooms are well-appointed and recently updated. The front desk was very helpful and even upgraded my room. There is no bar/restaurant - but you have plenty of that in Manhattan so not really needed at the hotel. Very easy walking to all the main tourist areas.
- 5/5
My room is a bit more spacious than an average one and I got a nice view of the skyline of NYC. The location is super convenient and I wish I had taken advantage of all the Korean restaurants around!
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable.
- 4.5/5
Great location in Midtown. Clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Luggage storage before and after our stay. Room included a mini-fridge and a microwave -- rare for NYC. We were on the second-to-top floor with a great view and super quiet. Plenty of outlets. Good A/C.
- 5/5
Beds were comfortable and room was very clean.
- 5/5
Very clean stay
- 5/5
Being one of the more affordable options we could find, I thought we might be sacrificing comfort for a good price and location. But the room was still very nice and clean, and bigger compared to any other I saw in the area. We always came back to a clean room and the staff was very friendly. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting NY. There is only two elevators for the whole hotel, so sometimes it took a while to get to your floor.
- 4/5
Location is spectacular if you're looking to stay in the heart of manhattan. Bryant Park is around the corner. Broadway/Times Square is a 15 min walk. You're right in the middle of it all! This is a temporary thing but the hotel is under some major renovations that I wasn't aware of til check in. A few floors are closed entirely. Some work going on in the lobby. Lots of workers in and out. Of the 3 elevators only 1-2 were running during my stay which led to some very long waits to get to my room a few times. Minor concern but worth mentioning if you're staying soon.
- 5/5
Quiet location, for NYC that is. Room was updated, spacious, and entire property was very clean.
- 2/5
Location is good. The lift-capacity is a major problem! All guests were complaining about having to wait up to 10 minutes to get a lift to go up or down. It did not help that renovations are ongoing and the workers were using the same lifts. The staff were not very helpful. The breakfast, which it said on hotels.com was included, turned out not to be included.
- 5/5
Air conditioning works great.
- 5/5
Great location, reasonable price
- 5/5
Great location and clean. It was a bit noisy.
- 5/5
I traveled to New York from Ukraine, and my journey took over 30 hours, so by the time I arrived, I was completely exhausted. I was so grateful to the gentleman at the reception who gave me a room on the 36th floor. The room was amazing, the view was incredible, and everything was very clean and comfortable. I truly could not have wished for a better room or a better experience. Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
- 5/5
Great location right by the subway so well placed for transport around the city. We were so lucky to have an incredible view of the Empire State Building. Can’t fault the cleanliness. No issues with that. It was nice and quiet within the hotel (could t hear other guests). The air con was quite noisy although we didn’t mind that as it drowned out sirens etc during the night. Staff at reception were helpful / pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The room had 2 beds which is harder to find in NYC Lobby could be more appealing
- 5/5
Convenient location ! Rooms were nice very satisfied
- 5/5
Clean, nice staff, and a nearby subway stop. What more can you ask for in NYC?!
- 3/5
Checking in was quick and staff at the front desk were helpful, although they couldn't tell us what the included continental breakfast included. After check in I had to walk up 17 flights o stairs to my floor because the elevator wasn't working. Stood in the lobby (that was under construction) for an unexaggerated 15 minutes waiting for the elevator. The room itself was extremely clean and appeared to have been recently renovated. The shower had good water pressure even though the drain was backing up. The included breakfast was very underwhelming. It includes 4 items (a pre-made sandwich, fruit, drink, and yogurt) and tasted ok at best. The pre-made omelets were about the size of a piece of toast. Do not pick this place for its breakfast offerings. The location was about a 15 minute walk from times square but there is a subway stop right outside the hotel and parking about 3 minutes down the street. The hotel does have a luggage storage for when you check out and want to keep exploring for the day.
- 4/5
Conveinient location
- 5/5
Perfect spot and close to everything. Subway is literally steps outside the door. Staff was friendly and the room was clean.
- 5/5
I was very happy with my stay. It was walking distance from the train station and a lot of restaurants, stores etc. Room was nice and staff was friendly, I would gladly stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was a perfect location for our recent stay in New York, short walk from Penn Station as we were staying with family in New Jersey, subway station right on the doorstep, clean room and cleaned everyday, bonus of having a small fridge as well. We were able to store our luggage while we spent our last day visiting attractions. Our room was cold but after speaking to staff an engineer came to our room and got the heating working. We were in the city for the Tartan Day Parade as my son was playing in a Pipe Band and 2 stops on the subway took us to where we had to be. All in all it was a great choice of hotel and new would stay here again. 34st/herald square was a few steps along the road ideal for trains going uptown for Rockefeller Center, Central Park and downtown for Battery Park, World Trade Center, 9/11 museum, Ghostbusters Fire House and Lower Manhattan.
- 5/5
This is my hotel of choice when I stay in NYC. The staff is always pleasant and accessible. The facility and the outside are clean. I feel safe and comfortable at this location. N/A
- 5/5
Property was under maintenance for some remodels. Friendly.
- 4/5
Great stay convenient to get everywhere I wanted
- 5/5
We love the location. Close to a subway stop. Plenty of eating places nearby as well. The last couple times we've stayed there, our refrigerator was not working in the room and at least one elevator was out.
- 5/5
Everything was very good for a two day stay near the Javits Center.
- 5/5
Was very clean and in the perfect area
- 4/5
However, breakfast is not included. There is a place where you can purchase breakfast items. This should be made more explicit.

No breakfast, we just choose to stay. The room was nice and clean. Would visit again.
- 3.5/5
We stayed while the restaurant was being renovated. That was one of the reasons we decided to stay there. That was disappointing. They should let you know that before booking.

- 5/5
“The hotel is very centrally located, less than 50 feet from a subway station, one block from Fifth Avenue, and about a 15-minute walk to Times Square. There are also excellent dining options very close by. If I go back to New York, I would definitely stay there again.”
- 1/5
Too many construction in the hotel
- 5/5
The location is fantastic. It’s quite easy to jump on the subway from the station (goes uptown and downtown) just a few feet from the hotel. The rooms were clean and I felt quite happy with the view! I had such a great view of the Empire State Building. Breakfast was not included. However, breakfast can be purchased there. I ate breakfast at gluten free bakeries throughout NYC. Lastly, be prepared to wait for the elevators. There’s 3 but not all of them were running. Overall, it was a great stay!
- 5/5
Room was mixer, clean and well sized
- 5/5
Awesome hotel
- 5/5
Clean, awesome city views, hot shower, great location, perfect stay!
- 5/5
The room was quiet (which is saying something in the middle of Manhattan) and clean, the staff were helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again!

Removations himdered access to breakfadt and bar. Ouu room was very nice with a fantadtic view.

- 3/5
The hotel has been renovating and one of three elevators was used by the contractors during the daytime!. The elevator speed is pretty slow. My room is on 7th floor. The elevators are always full of people. We need to wait for at least 2 or 3 times of elevator stops. During the nighttime, it was difficult to get a good sleep because of the noisy vehicles using the road outside the hotel! The staffs and room are okay and acceptable. The location of the hotel is easy to walk to the shops nearby. Overall, I'll give the score 6 out of 10.

Lovely facility : will stay again. Thank you.
- 5/5
Would definitely come back!!!
- 5/5
The location was great, the room was in excellent condition, and the shower pressure was fantastic. Overall, everything about the stay was very satisfying. Since I get cold very easily, good heating is very important to me when we choosing a hotel, and the heating here worked so well that it was almost too warm! I had been having a hard time because of a cold, but staying here helped me relax and recover comfortably ❤️ We would definitely come back again next time 100%! :)
- 3/5
Clean, good price, super convenient to Times Square, broadway, Macys.
- 4/5
This is a great location and the staff was friendly, but we didn't need much, so we did not have much interaction in our short stay. Our room changed often on our 3 hour trip into the city and when I called, they resolved it, but we were put on a floor with a lot of storage materials in the hallway. Breakfast should be included or nightly price should be more reasonable.
- 3/5
I know these things happen, but it seems as if a discount should have been applied or something. It was not quite the Hilton experience I've been spoiled by. The hotel itself was in a good location, my view was excellent ("Macy's" room) and the front staff was very nice, although I did have a room cleaner walk in on me while I was standing in the room in my underwear (my wife had walked out to the hall to wait for me and I guess the lady thought the room empty, but still...a knock?). It was ok and kind of funny, but some may not brush it off so easily. I would stay here again if the price was right, but definitely not while it's under construction. And, lock your door always: )
- 5/5
Great location, construction was happening at the time which made for a long wait elevators sometimes. My favorite part was that the windows actually open. Just a little, but still very lovely to have some fresh air.

Centrally located to places to and and a one minute walk to MACYS

My initial visit to New York City presented a considerable adjustment, given my rural background. However, the hotel staff's exceptional kindness and welcoming demeanor fostered a sense of belonging. I anticipate a return visit to this establishment.

Clean room, I enjoyed my stay.

Courteous staff. Had a bad night for our first evening due to guests fighting with each other at 3am. Lasted about an hour, until the hotel staff got it under control. Tony at the desk extended our checkout time to compensate which was greatly appreciated. Would've happened anywhere, did not leave a bad taste in our mouth. Would book this location again for the convenience and proximity to theater district and museums. All within walking distance.
- 5/5
Very clean, nice hotel. 3 elevators so waiting for the next one is not bad. Nothing fancy but worth the trip. Will definitely be back.

From the moment we arrived, Nicolas on reception and his team were absolutely amazing. They were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. What really stood out was when our trip was unexpectedly extended due to the blizzard in New York. Nicolas and the team accommodated us seamlessly and took all the stress out of what could have been a very difficult situation. Nothing felt like too much trouble. They truly made us feel right at home during a challenging time, which meant so much to us as a family. The service was professional yet personal, and it’s clear the team genuinely care about their guests. We’re so grateful for the kindness and support we received and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York. Thank you again to Nicolas and the entire team for turning a stressful situation into such a positive experience — we won’t forget it!

Amenities, staff, blankets. Very outdated
- 4/5
Also, I was given two complimentary bottle waters; that was a nice touch.

The coffee machine in the lobby was inoperative during my stay - not good! Gotta have coffee.
- 5/5
Clean. Priced well and in a great area. We enjoy our stay every time.
- 5/5
Subway just downstairs
- 3/5
Front desk staff very friendly but it was a very noisy hotel. Our room was next to the elevator and heard it all night + construction on one of the floors. Not hotel fault but more of me not reading bed sizes, was very uncomfortable 3 nights sleeping with hubby in a double size bed. Ask front desk for other options but no other rooms available with bigger bed.
- 5/5
Awesome!!!
- 5/5
Clean, super friendly staff and excellent location
- 5/5
It’s right next to the subway and walking distance to time square. This was our second time staying here.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, its service was helpful and attentive. Of course we are coming back!

Fantastic stay!
- 4/5
Clean room. Great staff. Room had everything needed. The only complaint was the noise from the elevator since my room was next to the elevator.
- 1/5
Ordered king size bed got double bed. Second time has happened.
- 5/5
The room and city view was perfect for our 5 day stay in NYC, Party of 4. The hotel is right in the midtown area walking distance from time square and the subway access is right out the hotel doors. Service was great and amenities meet our needs.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and great location. Pantry is handy too!
- 5/5
Staff and location . Very clean as well
- 3/5
Upon arrival around midnight, we had to wait more than 20 minutes to check in, as there was no one available at the front desk and only security was present in the lobby. The manager informed us that the hotel was fully booked that night but suggested we could request a room change the following day. However, the hotel remained fully booked, so we were unable to switch rooms. Additionally, when we asked for nearby recommendations for bars and restaurants, we were told there were plenty of options around, but no specific suggestions were provided, and we later found this information to be inaccurate. Overall, the service and accommodations did not align with the level of experience we were expecting at a Hilton Hotel.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and the cleaning staff was very thorough. Perfect place to ride the subway and get to do many outings! Will definitely be back!!
- 5/5
Good and Convenient
- 5/5
My room had a view directly to the Empire State so there’s nothing to criticize. The staff was kind and helpful.
- 5/5
Cuartos super limpios, exelente ubicasio y el staff bien amables.
- 5/5
Staff was great and the location was perfect. Only downside were the elevators were a little slow.
- 4/5
Everything was great except for the wait for the long elevators.
- 3/5
Room and staff were fine but since the weather was so severe, our room had not switched the heat on and keeping the room warm was frustrating as the temperature kept going down to a fixed level. After explaining the problem I was told to raise the temperature to the mid to high 70’s to pump out the heating - it finally worked! Hotel should offer an extra blanket/comforter during the winter season to make guests more comfortable.
- 3/5
Some of the staff could be a little bit more kinder, especially the guy with the glasses with gray hair behind the counter. Also could’ve used more pillows and also blankets but other than that, it was ok stay
- 5/5
Yes very clean Friendly staff
- 2/5
Staff was RUDE! The lady at the front was nice but I believe his name was Nick was rude and had a smug attitude while talking to him
- 4/5
Great location . Next to the subway, Macy’s and a 15 mins walk to Times Square and broadway shows. Tons of places to eat just right around all corners. Cannabis store across the street if that’s your thing ! Room was quiet and clean . There was a cold snap in NYC during our stay so I loved the ability to control the temperature in our room. The heating system was quiet (yes, this is a problem we encountered in hotels before) and it was cozy and warm. Elevator can be a long wait during peak hours but I think this is common in any place . We were on the 12th floor.
- 5/5
Clean easy access walking distance to macys
- 4/5
The room was very clean and they provided new towels etc even though we only stayed two nights. Sent maintenance the help with the heat during this very unusual cold snap. The hotel is at a great and easily accessible location. I would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was great overall. It was clean and had a great view. I asked to have a high floor and we stayed on the 31st floor. The only negative was hearing the elevator every morning and evening because we were right next to it. I mentioned it to a staff member on Thursday when someone text me to see how we were enjoying our stay. We stayed for 4 nights and had a great trip.
- 5/5
Great experience, very friendly and professional staff, clean room, overall great value
- 5/5
I had a wonderful stay. The attention to detail is remarkable. The team anticipates your needs before you even ask. The hospitality felt genuine rather than scripted, making for a very welcoming environment. A big thank you to the entire team!
- 5/5
I look forward to staying at the Hilton Garden Inn next year and will recommend it to everyone I know!

Perfect location and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful! I’ll come back to this hotel.
- 4/5
The front desk staff was amazing! Friendly. I talked to the front desk about getting extra pillows. Within 5 minutes housekeeping was knocking at my door.
- 4/5
Only reason it wasn't 5 star is that their system was down and we had to delay our check in by a few hours. Otherwise, everything was exactly what you expect from a Hilton; great location, clean room, comfy bed, excellent service, reasonable price.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great location, fabulous staff, clean and comfortable room.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Nice and cozy .
- 4/5
Great location. Staff were awesome. Room was clean and spacious for NYC. The only downside was the elevators seemed really slow, multiple times we walked down 7 flights after waiting quite a while for them to not come or show up full.
- 4/5
room was clean.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. The room Was much bigger than most NYC rooms and the price was great. Staff was wonderful and the room was spotless and well stocked with soaps lotions and best of all plenty of towels for 2.
- 1/5
They decided to work construction at 730 a.m the floor above me. The amount of noise banging and power tools coming that floor was horrendous. We couldn't go back to sleep and it ruined what otherwise been a nice stay. My complaint isnt so much the construction. I get it service needed to be done, my complaint is knowing they were going to do the work and still giving me the room directly under it, that makes no sense!!!
- 5/5
Very friendly and kind staff, clean room and was able to check in early
- 5/5
Attentive staff
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Great location. Issue with elevators the whole stay but clean and otherwise good

Room, more or less... refrigerator made a buzzing noise all night, sheets were not changed (we found a lost sock 2 days later), i had to go out for shampoo because it was not refilled, there was no pencil and note pad in room, ... the little things.

Great location, clean room.
- 5/5
The room was very clean;however this is New York so the room is very compact! But for 3 people we were comfortable. The views were amazing! Was a short walking distance to penn station. Was not far from Time Square, and had subways right around the corner. Elevators were fast & staff was nice. Got there a little early and our room wasn’t ready but they were able to hang on to our luggage which was super helpful

Hotel was super close to MSG/Penn station so it was easy to get to and from.

Nice view, rooms nice. Was a mixup and one queen instead of two doubles. But was willing to correct it. Also elevators slow esp in am when everybody leaving could take 10 -15 min to catch elevator with enough room to fit. Not all elevators working. Doing renovations on 30-31st floor

7 minutes' walk from the Amtrak train station
- 5/5
Fantastic location…one block to left out of hotel door..Herald Square station.
- 5/5
Great customer service!
- 5/5
Location is fantastic! We could see Macy's and the Empire State Building from our room, and there was a subway station entrance at the end of the block. The rooms were spacious and it was nice having a refrigerator. Staff was friendly, would stay here again!
- 5/5
Kind, helpful staff.
- 5/5
Our favorite part staying here is the location. Empire State Building out your windows to one side, Macy's on the other side, and a subway station just feet from the hotel door
- 5/5
Beautiful stay I will book again
- 5/5
The room was so clean, loved our view and the staff was very kind and helpful.
- 5/5
From the start to the finish all went very well at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful and polite. The location is outstanding! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
- 5/5
We were not offered breakfast or told it was an option.

Perfect Location
- 4/5
Nice, clean room. Good location. However, The elevator situation was horrible. I guess one of the elevators was down. Waited over 10 minutes for an elevator and finally have up. Walked down 12 flights of stairs with heavy luggage and two young kids.

Convenience to everything, clean room, helpful staff.
- 4/5
A room on the 26th floor, great view, quiet clean, probably one of the best rooms at this hotel.
- 3/5
Aldo, the bathtub was blocked so we were showering standing in high water. Rooms are dark and depressing. We paid a fortune and ended up being very disappointed.
- 5/5
Great location & clean rooms. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
My Christmas dream came true by being able to enjoy an excellent place
- 3/5
I had a very unpleasant experience with a staff member named Marlyn during my stay. I simply asked a question and was met with shouting and an extremely rude, unprofessional attitude. There was absolutely no reason for this behavior, and it made me feel disrespected and uncomfortable as a guest. Hospitality is about courtesy and respect, and unfortunately this interaction fell far below what I expect from a Hilton property. Management seriously needs to address how guests are spoken to.
- 5/5
Great location, strong showers, great room cleaning daily, great pillows, helpful staff.
- 3/5
No on site restaurant, lobby bar was never open, ill equipped fitness center, room so small luggage rack cannot be used with open luggage and you have to be in the shower to turn on the shower, loud noises from within hotel. However, very friendly staff and subway access was convenient.
- 5/5
amazing!
- 3/5
Beds are too small, rooms are too small. You had one guy running the breakfast bar, slow with long waits. Elevators are slow. Front desk and housekeeping were very pleasant.
- 4/5
Didn't try breakfast because it was too expensive. Had food from bar menu was adequate. Many things need to be updated in our room. Staff was excellent, very responsive.
- 5/5
The staff were all amazing. Made us feel so welcomed from the moment we checked in, until the minute we jumped in our cab to leave. 10/10 experience, will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Loved our stay !
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my short stay. The room was perfect and there were delicious breakfast options.

Very Clean!
- 4/5
The room was very clean.
- 4/5
The housekeeping is top notch! The room was always spotless and we really loved the customer service and location. It’s seriously central to everything… we only took an uber once… and that’s back to the airport. Only thing that was an issue were the elevators… we were on 25th floor and the elevators in the morning took a long time. If I stayed here again I’d ask for a lower level floor and take the stairs.
- 5/5
The view!!
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff, and perfect location within walking distance of most attractions
- 5/5

- 5/5
Super convenient location. Rooms were clean too!
- 4/5
A/c kept the room cool. Lifts good.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, comfortable and roomy for NYC. Great location for sightseeing. I love the added security of having someone always standing in the lobby when you enter. Security elevators and they lock the doors overnight. I was traveling with my daughters and felt completely safe which is so important to me. Great stay! Highly recommend.
- 4/5
Outdated and hotel looks worn. Staff were friendly. Maid made bed everyday with lumps and bumps all over bed She should know how to straighten sheets and blankets
- 5/5
nice hotel, good staff
- 5/5
Clean hotel with exceptional stafff. The location is perfect for visiting New York. Will definitely stay here again when we visit again
- 5/5
Didn’t have breakfast
- 5/5
Nice room, clean gym.
- 5/5
The room was clean and nice. The staff was amazing! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. James, with security, even went next door to get our door dash that was delivered to the wrong place! We were able to store our luggage prior to checking in and at check out so we could go explore the city. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
- 3/5
Staff was courteous. Room was clean. Room was not ready at check in time. There was a banging noise every three
- 3/5
There was no breakfast. Also no good coffee in the rooms.
- 5/5
This hotel was perfect for our New York trip! It was centrally located near Times Square and Rockefeller, and Central Park was not far at all. The staff was so kind and helpful, which really made a difference. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the view of the Empire State Building was breathtaking. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Very clean. Great staff. Location
- 4/5
I stayed here for a special occasion (my wife’s birthday and our anniversary) and was really let down by how my requests were handled. I communicated weeks in advance, again a few days before, and even the day of check-in about hoping for a better room/upgrade, but nothing was accommodated and there wasn’t much effort or empathy shown. Service was inconsistent—some staff members were genuinely polite and helpful, while others came off short and dismissive. I understand it may be peak season and they could’ve been at/near capacity, but as someone who has stayed at many Hilton properties over the years, I expected better communication and a more guest-focused approach. Overall, it was an okay stay, but not what I’m used to from Hilton, especially for a milestone trip.
- 3/5
The hotel needs a upgrade . The breakfast ew option

Clean room, friendly staff, perfect location
- 5/5
Everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff I’m checking in to check out the cleaning staff. The location was great. We could see the Empire State balloon from our window and we were across the street from Macy’s flagship. We will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Great view! Clean rooms! Worked really well for our family.
- 5/5
Very clean and had an absolutely awesome staff!!
- 5/5
Great location, staff and amenities for a reasonable price in NYC.
- 3/5
The fridge was not plugged in. The bed and pillow was terrible. The staff was great. The check in process took a while.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
The room is big, the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The location is amazing, with a lot of places to eat close by and Macy’s across the street It’s my preferred hotel when I visit NYC. Recommended!!
- 4/5
Small room. But clean.
- 4/5
It was nice and quiet room, although it is close to the downtown. However, there was little bit of marijuana smell from bed.
- 2/5
.
- 4/5
Everything was perfect..except the bed were not comfortable and I thought it was two queens and not doubles, so that was unfortunate. Otherwise the staff, location and cleanliness was great .
- 5/5
Clean rooms and can’t beat the location! Most of the popular areas in midtown were in walkable distance. Never too long of a wait for the elevator (which is important to me). I would definitely recommend and cone back in the future!
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and helpful.
- 5/5
Decent room and well placed
- 5/5

- 5/5
Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
Good location, Very kind staff and clean rooms
- 5/5
Love the location and restaurants
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean, very well organized and staff were friendly. The room furniture and amenities were modern, just the carpets look a little dated. Had no problems checking in and checking out. Security were able to hold out bags the day we checked out so we could explore the city a little without the worry of where our bags would be. Housekeeping came very early in the morning though which was a surprise, so make sure to leave your do not disturb sign out!
- 5/5
Staff and amenities
- 5/5
It was very clean, safe and I loved the water bottle refill stations.
- 5/5
The location is very convenient, very close to major points and there’s even a subway entrance as soon as you walk out the hotel. The staff was very helpful and it was great that they offered luggage storage for free. We really enjoyed our stay here.
- 5/5
staff was very nice and accommodating with easy check in and out
- 5/5
Very clean , nice staff, good location
- 3/5
Didn’t do the breakfast but I did notice the entire staff is pretty bland in terms of hospitality. They could not be bothered to make eye contact or share the slightest pleasantry. I did the Hilton because the Marriott’s in the area were booked. Everything was fast and the staff spoke AT you not to you. There was one person that seemed to understand the power of making a customer feel seen. He could not help us as we were waiting for the luggage person to open luggage storage. The room was fine. I wouldn’t stay here again. Staff needs training they seemed to feel bothered by customers that wanted to check in. No “good morning” just “checking in? name?”
- 4/5
I recommend this property
- 5/5
Good value. Great location for walking or the Subway. Lots to see. Lots to do. Not much common area, but the room was very comfortable.
- 3/5
it was little noisy and room fixture was rather dated
- 5/5
Ok
- 5/5
Our 2 beds room was spacious, beds were comfortable, room was clean and the front desk people were very helpful and nice! The location of the hotel was perfect for us, as our main goal was to see Broadway shows and all theaters are in a walking distance from the hotel. It was a very pleasant experience for us! Thank you!
- 2/5
The hotel feels dated, the hallways are small and there was a linen cart outside of our door making it difficult to walk through with our luggage. The breakfast was terrible as it's now all prepackaged food that they microwave upon request. Staff were friendly for the most part. The hotels location is convenient but it's definitely not a stellar location. There wasn't a laundry facility onsite which was disappointing as that's one of the selling points in selecting this hotel.
- 5/5
We were concerned about noise, being on the 2nd floor and next to the elevator. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet the room was
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great central location to many fun activities
- 5/5
Nice hotel!
- 4/5
The room was clean. Staff was pleasant. Bartender was gracious. There were fruit flies/gnats at the bar area that swayed me against ordering any appetizers with my drink. Not sure if that was just a one-off occurrence. Overall good stay at this location.
- 5/5
Great staff, clean and close to most things
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Would definitely recommend

The room was clean. Location was great! Staff was friendly.

This hotel is a great place to stay in New York. We stayed for 7 nights and found it to be clean and housekeeping kept it comfortable throughout our entire stay. The hotel is centrally located including near subways and restaurants/takeout options. Also near a Target for food for room to make use of microwave and fridge in room. we asked for a kettle which was provided so used in addition to coffee machine. Gym in basement was also used. Bathrooms had shower gel and shampoo and conditioner provided plus hand wash. All staff were really helpful and friendly. Loved our stay and we would come back.
- 5/5
It was great for one night
- 4/5
眺めはすごくよかったのですが、エレベーターの隣の部屋で、エレベーターの動く音がうるさかった。
- 5/5
Staff was quick to make us comfortable in a family adjoining room. With all 5 of us close together made it great. Hotel is clean and close to all the sites. Plus they set up a car service for airport. So convenient and great driver. This is a hotel I will stay at again plus recommend to friends and family.
- 2/5
Only 2 outlets in our room worked. Pillows were very flimsy and constantly fell behind the bed. Blankets were very thin. Staff were kind and brought stuff when asked but wouldn’t say they went above and beyond. We paid extra for a city view and we got an 7th floor room with a view of a back of a building no city view at all. Expected more for it being a Hilton and for the price.
- 5/5
Clean room friendly staff

Too short to make a comment on any thing in particular. I can say that I would definitely stay again. It’s an absolute convenient location. 🙂

Great location
- 5/5
Fantastic
- 3/5
This hotel is in a great spot for walking to lots of areas easily. The hotel rooms definitely need to be updated for the prices.
- 4/5
We bought the breakfast package and it was horrible. It was like a 7-11 mini mart with attitude. Our choices were prepackaged microwave egg sandwiches, it was so unappealing we only went 2 or three times and mainly for the coffee. The two men behind the counter were rude and condescending to us. They had attitude about us having the breakfast vouchers, they rudely pointed out what we could and could have. It was so embarrassing and unexpected. I try telling the front desk but they weren’t interested.
- 5/5
We both loved this hotel. However, there was one problem this year, the noise across the street on the roof of the dispensary. It literally sounded like it was in our room. We couldn’t believe how awful that was.
- 5/5
Very convenient and within walking distant.
- 5/5
The room was cleaned and stocked with towels every day. Great central location to many things.
