Staff were amazing! They are so helpful and accomplished even when I had questions via text message. Unfortunately we were not alerted ahead of time with their ongoing construction/renovation happening that it was affecting my kids with asthma. Elevator use took forever because only 1 was actively working for the whole building, and was too cold for my small kids to use the stairs outside the building. Overall the location was amazing! I'd come back again once construction is done. My kids loved this location
- 5/5
Nice environment, clean room. I loved that the shower had an actual glass door on it. The amount of hotels I've stayed in, I always get water outside of the tub area because it either has the dinky curtain or half of a glass door on it. There are no issues with that at the Hilton. Overall, just a good experience. Definitely recommend.
- 2/5
When we got to the hotel, the water filter in the lobby wasn’t working, there was no coffee, and the bathroom that was part of the restaurant was clogged. The elevators were also extremely slow.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Courteous and friendly staff. Only complaint is there was only 1 elevator working for a few of the days we were there which made it hard having to wait 20+ minutes for an elevator one way. Great location with great food choices and coffee shops close. Would definitely stay again just on a lower floor!
- 5/5
The room was clean. The staff isn’t very friendly but they did their job. The air conditioning was excellent. The hotel was family friendly
- 5/5
Great hotel. Great staff. The only thing I did hate especially when your in a rush is that there are only two elevators available.
- 5/5
My family of four had a wonderful stay here. The staff were very friendly. They allowed us to keep our bags there before the room was ready so we could go out in the city. The room was very clean and cleaned very well each day. They have a nice bar and pool table area that was nice for a little downtime. The location was excellent for us; close proximity to the subway, in walking distance to many shops, and right across the street from a delicious bagel store!

Location Only 1 elevator working for 3 days

Passable
- 5/5
The only reason the facility rating was a 3 is due to one of the elevators being out when I checked in. I understand that this is beyond your control and I believe it was being worked on. Everything else was great!
- 4/5
The hotel manager Delanie went above and beyond to get the few things I had left in the safe back to me. While we were there we always felt it was clean, safe and were warmly greeted by the front desk. Our breakfast each morning was delicious and timely for the meetings we were attending.

Great
- 3/5
Everything was great but didn’t have hot water in the shower for the all stay… we called three times and engineers came but nothing changed… a hotel without hot water is kinda annoying! That impacted us on our stay! All the other things were good!
- 1/5
This hotel is a disgrace, and I have stayed in some nasties. We were guests for 5 days to the tune of 2.3K. 1) The air conditioner blew directly onto the bed. It could not be adjusted by direction or temperature. 2) The bathroom floor was wet, evidently the sink leaked. On day 2 we asked for a room change. Denied. We left on day 4 because we could not take it for another night. You are better off camping at Penn Station. For real.
- 1/5
I pre booked a king size bed for my husband and I, my best friend did the same and apparently another couple we met there did too…and we all heard the same story. They didn’t have any king size beds but if we took the room with two queen beds they would comp us because they’re more expensive and bigger anyway. What a scam!! We were all celebrating a special occasion! NEVER AGAIN! Shame on Hilton! You should do better!!

Elevators are not always working. Stairs are locked. But hotel is in good quiet area with easy access to subway and shops.

And the part which amazes no apologizes
- 4/5
after the first time. The elevator broke down one day. We did like the community area with pool and tv. We also liked that they had a water filter to fill up water bottles, but the water came out too slow. I think that can be improved. Rooms for the most part are quiet.
- 4/5
It was a great experience to stay in Helton. Just the bathroom was not good for taking shower and the water came out on the floor
- 4/5
The property is showing its age. Things are not quite excellent @ this hotel. Staff is nice enough, but little things... like the in-room fridge that had no temp control & kept things mildly chilled, or the fact that on checkout day, there was only one of the 2 elevators working meaning we spent 40+ minutes waiting for an elevator, (I am disabled & did not have the option of using the stairs), or the so-called restaurant that definitely needs an update. I used to feel confident that Hilton meant quality.
- 5/5
They were doing a lot of construction in and around hotel. Was a great value and comfortable room. Great location. Can walk to many sights. Would stay there again.
- 4/5
The location was very convenient and close to the main attractions, restaurants, and transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The bed was also comfortable, which made it easy to rest after a long day. The room could have been a little more spacious, especially with luggage. Also, the check-in area or elevators were sometimes busy, which caused some waiting. Overall, these were small issues and did not affect our stay too much.

Wonderful location for restaurants, fantastic Deli, Nut Factory, CVS, Bagels etc

Room is good it got nice views

Great location. We were not informed of construction being done as you entered the hotel on day 1. There were delays using the elevators. Day 2 back to normal. Love the breakfast on the go boxes. Great idea since we were on a tight schedule. 100% recommend.

The elevator is broken. The restaurant is under repair. The swimming pool is not there. They did mention when I booked the room. That's kind of cheating.

Our room on the 27th door was clean but the phone did not work nor did the safe. Nor were we given the option to change rooms. Mon-Fri there was only 1 elevator functioning. I waited 10 min to get it down to the lobby. The staff was very nice & tried to be helpful but they were also struggling to get things accomplished using one elevator. Unfortunately this experience will probably keep me from booking Hilton in the future.

I had a great stay at Hilton Garden Inn New York/Manhattan-Midtown East. The location was excellent — close to subway stations, restaurants, and many Manhattan attractions, making it very convenient to get around the city. The room was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet for New York. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay, and check-in/check-out was smooth. The hotel felt safe, well-maintained, and offered good value for the area. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to NYC.
- 2/5
Elevators not working half the time, worst breakfast I’ve ever had.
- 2/5
The air conditioning was on the first night and then the only option we had after that was heat for some reason. The breakfast option that was to "makeup" for the construction was maybe 15 to go boxes with a piece of fruit and a granola bar - they were always gone and for 2 mornings did not have any. The front desk staff at check in was very rude, I requested a low floor due to an ankle injury and was told they rebooked my requested room so I'd "just have to manage". Trying to get more towels EVEN when housekeeping was in was impossible cause they would run out on the cart and not want to use the stairs to go get more (since their was only one working elevator). Half the time our housekeeping just made the bed - no sheet change, no new towels, not even wiping down the bathroom. We had to go buy lysol wipes and do it ourselves for piece of mind.
- 3/5
Staff were great but elevator was broken so hard to get to an upper floor when lots of young groups used the hotel as a base. This is not up to the usual Hilton standards unfortunately.
- 5/5
The rooms are newly remodeled, clean and quite comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive to your needs.

I returned at 1:30 PM. I offered to pay extra for early check-in, but she told me to wait. I waited until almost 4 PM. If I hadn't gone up to confront her, she would've ignored me. When I got to my room, I couldn't even unpack because I was terrified of bugs. The room lacked pillowcases and shampoo. They never refilled the shampoo during my stay, and on my last night, housekeeping took the towels but never left clean ones. I had to go to the lobby to ask for them. On top of that, the lobby floor was gross and filthy. Cleanliness is a hotel's image and it's non-negotiable for me. I took photos of everything. If management doesn't handle this properly and offer a full refund for these unsanitary conditions, I am fully prepared to submit a formal complaint with all my evidence to the New York City Department of Health. Cockroaches and extreme filth are serious sanitary violations, and I will report this hotel to the city authorities.
- 3/5
great staff & good location for exploring manhattan especially via subway. room and bathroom are extremely small. Only 2 elevators for 28 floors so you will be waiting a few minutes for the elevator to come to you. No free breakfast unfortunately.
- 5/5
Clean and big room. Elevator is always occupied so it takes a while for us to use it.
- 3/5
Our first room was clean besides hair left in the sink & we had a problem with the hot water, I did let the clerk downstairs know we got switched out the next day with no problem & complimentary drinks at the bar we appreciated that, our second room was spotless, love a clean room, I’m not sure what was going on with the elevators 1 wasn’t working the other one barely working, one day we waited 20 minutes for an elevator, the next day it took so long we had to use the stairs & both my knees are bad so after going down 16 flights of stairs my day was ruined & my knees were swollen & very much in pain, I sure hope the elevators get fixed.
- 4/5
There are definite design and usage difficulties that hopefully are being addressed. The staff are welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. The cafe, while still being upgraded, had a limited but delicious menu and efficient and friendly service. I enjoyed my stay, particularly the balcony outdoor space.

Location was great. Very clean hotel. Everything was amazing
- 1/5
They charged $100 deposit but there was no additional things to be charged because there is no restaurant in the hotel, no mini bar or no laundry services available. Not sure why they had to charge the deposit. Also I am not sure how they found my other credit card but suddenly the CC I didn’t show or not used to pay for the hotel was charged an additional $6. It’s scary that totally different credit card was charged for the same day but I have no idea what it's for. I am disputing it.
- 4/5
One of the two elevators was not working, making it a long wait for elevator space. People nearby in hall or a room made noise late into the night, well after 12 midnight.

Elevators are terrible, phone in room doesnt work, no towels were brought to the room ever, had to go down the elevator and back up for 45min because it was so slow everytime I had to ask the lobby for towels.

There was only one lift running for a 28 floor building. Every time one wanted to go down or back to the room required at least 15 mins wait time for the lift and yet you would be lucky if you could make room for yourself in the already packed lift. The housekeeping staff was also using the same lift with all their equipments and stuff occupying the major space of that one compact lift. The hotel reception was all covered in partition curtains as some renovation work was going on. In short, it was not how I expected it to be.
- 3/5
There shouldn’t even offer breakfast. That was the saddest breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. It was a box with a blueberry muffin, granola bar, a pear and orange juice. I’m mad that I paid for that. I could pay for a better breakfast than that.

In front of hotel is construction so it is loud during 8am-6pm outside the rooms. The lobby could be cleaner. I appreciated the breakfast box to go and free coffee. I noticed that front desk staff person allowed someone to go into held luggage room themselves which seems like a potential for errors or stolen property. see above

I reserved a room with a King size bed and when I got there to check in I was given a room with two queen beds. When I went back down to ask why I was given that room all they said was all their rooms with king size beds were taken. If that’s the case how was I able to reserve a room with a king size bed in the first place. On top of that I made my reservation two weeks in advance. I was disappointed with the response and the lack of compensation.
- 3/5
My room pillows didn’t have cases
- 5/5
Had a good overall stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location was excellent and very convenient. The only downside was noise from construction right outside the building, which was a bit disruptive. Aside from that, it was a positive experience and I’d consider staying again.

Everything was great. Building was under construction so the elevator took a while but I think they were about done with that.

- 1/5
It was the most expensive ghetto place I've ever stayed at. I can understand thatvyhere.were renovations going on but they could have made ot a better experience. Because there was only one elevator, because the breakfast was horrible, I think that the price of the little room i was in should have been dropped. I spent too much money to wait for nearly 20 min to go upstairs and downstairs. I spent too much to have only and apple and a muffin for breakfast.
- 3/5
The same staff was there the day we checked out and the same thing happened, staring at the computer while checking us out and rattled off an automatic line of, “You’re all set. Have a good day.” Not glancing from the screen.

Terrible elevator service under the remodeling phase; breakfast consists of 3 hot drinks; no shampoo in the dispenser; no fresh towels supplied during the stay. Certainly, not the quality commensurate with the price of nearly 1,000 $ for 3-night stay. My worst ever stay in a Hilton property!!!!!

Staff was extremely helpful and nice/friendly. Unfortunately, the building was under construction when we visited, so they only had one elevator operating for guests until 5pm everyday. This made it very difficult to get to our floor, often waiting almost 10 minutes just to get on the elevator. Room was clean.
- 3/5
Just good location but the room and the service was meh

Efficient staff
- 4/5
Fabulous staff, was able to check in a bit early when the weather was not the best for walking around. The hotel is under construction, I did get one of the newer rooms and it was GREAT! So so so clean and the most room I’ve had in a Midtown hotel yet. Of course there is only one elevator, but you need to expect that hotels will have construction as we would complain if they didn’t update their rooms. I never waited more than 10 minutes for the elevator. My room did have a lot of “elevator noise” at nighttime but by closing my bathroom door it was almost non-existent and I was able to sleep soundly through the night. You are in a touristy area, so keep in mind a lot of tourist spots will have lines! Great stay, would stay again solely based off how close it was to Subway!
- 3/5
Place was at a good location, property was under construction only one elevator at a time working which was a major inconvenience wait time for elevator at times was 20-25mins. No breakfast available since property was under construction. It was pretty dusty and noisy at times!

The Hilton Garden Inn was undergoing renovations to better serve its guests, and they organized everything very efficiently to ensure that everything went as smoothly as possible during our stay. I really enjoyed staying at the Hilton and I recommend it.

Construction was happening so only one elevator worked and there were no amenities available. Also no hot water for a shower Saturday morning. Otherwise the location was great and the room was really nice.

Great location. Helpful staff. Clean room.

the cafe was under construction, it was loud frrorm 8-6pm with one elevator out of service so there were 15-20 min waits for it. The staff was more often than not annoyed to be asked anything.
- 2/5
I was overall disappointed in this stay. The rooms were clean and staff was nice however the hotel is under construction which we were not made aware of until we physically saw the construction ourselves. There was only one working elevator for the entire hotel so at times the wait time was prolonged. Overall, wasn’t a huge impact on our stay but still would have been nice to know.
- 1/5
The staff here does not care about your stay. We stayed for 4 nights and had to beg for our room to be cleaned and only got that once! Everyday we asked for clean towels and an extra blanket and only received it on the very last day. All we got was a sorry and advised to reached out to Expedia

Room itself was fine. Shower was fine, bed was fine. Most things were acceptable. I was given a key to a room that someone else was occupying originally. As a woman traveling alone, this was a scary experience and did not make me feel safe in the hotel the rest of the time. I was given a different room. No accomodations or anything else were offered to me for, what I feel, is a huge mistake on their part. The elevators didn't work; the fridge in my room didn't work; towels were taken from my room and not replaced (bath mat and washcloth). The hotel was also under major construction, which is fine, I've stayed in hotels under construction before - but it was not mentioned in the booking, and it was EXTREMELY bothersome, as the construction was happening on my floor in the rooms entirely surrounding mine. The booking should have been labeled clearly that the hotel was under construction, and there should have been a room discount due to that.

I specifically booked this hotel because they were advertising that they had guest laundry, an onsite restaurant and an onsite store. They were by no means the cheapest hotel in the area but I was willing to pay extra for these features. Except when I arrived, they informed me that due to construction, none of these things actually existed. I was also informed that during the day, there would be only 1 elevator for guests for 28 floors. I understand that renovations are necessary but the honest and ethical thing to do is to inform guests of the current situation and allow them to decide for themselves if it works for them. Instead I got false advertising and the bait and switch with no offer for any remedy. I will likely never stay at a hilton again.
- 0.5/5
The price was decent Unfortunately the construction ruined the stay. Especially waiting for the elevator. Waited 10/15 min but then the elevator was full, my party of 4 couldn't fit. Didn't want to wait another 10/15ish minutes so we took the stairs. Would wait until construction is complete.

Everything was good but would have like to know the hotel was under renovation which made it difficult to use the elevator. There were complimentary breakfast boxes on the go and one morning we couldn’t even get coffee. Also, just be careful of where you place things.

Location was wonderful! All of the midtown attractions were within walking distance and there were two subway stations within two blocks of the hotel. Just construction, but it wasn’t terrible.

The hotel was under construction which led to the lower rating. At the time we were there, only one elevator was functioning.
- 3/5
Construction going on. Elevator situation awful; long waits. Breakfast room being renovated; little room or selection. Otherwise service good and polite; room clean and fine. Location is great for east side.”
- 1/5
The hotel room was average. The hotel is under construction as of March 28 2026 and there is only ONE working elevator for service staff, employees and guest. You can imagine the amount of time wasted waiting for an elevator, being on an elevator and leaving an elevator took. All amenities were unavailable and these are things that should have been mentioned to customers prior to booking. Refund or compensation is definitely warranted during these situations.
- 3/5
The hotel is under remodel, which is not listed in the booking information. With the construction, there was only one elevator available during the day, and the laundry facilities werent accessible. The room wasn't the cleanest, I found old luggage tags and trash under the beds while searching for something i dropped. The shower did not get hot unless a toilet was flushed in another room. And the toilet would run occasionally. That being said, they did offer daily housekeeping and luggage storage. The staff was always courteous and helpful. The location is near an accessible subway station.

This hotel is under renovation. Elevators are extremely slow as only one elevator is operational during peak hours...Morning through about 5pm. No breakfast area or business center available during renovations
- 1/5
My recent stay at the hotel was extremely disappointing and fell far below expectations. The elevators were not functioning properly, resulting in wait times exceeding 10 minutes on multiple occasions, which was both inconvenient and frustrating. Additionally, there was ongoing construction during my stay that significantly disrupted the overall experience. This information should have been clearly disclosed on the website prior to booking so guests could make an informed decision. Given these circumstances, I respectfully request a partial refund for the inconvenience and diminished quality of my stay.
- 1.5/5
I was literally disappointed with the renovation ongoing there which I was not informed by booking.com If I knew I wouldn’t prefer to go., we waited minutes for elevator. Additionally bad looking of entrance made me unhappy. I was unhappy also in name of my guests. My daughter and son in law. Room was so uncomfortable. Too small to move. Renovation also made us unhappy
- 2/5
I booked for 2 nights, but when my colonoscopy was over (successfully!), we decided to just go home and suck up the extra night’s charge. We checked out an hour after checkout time, but we were not charged. Props to them! An unpleasant stay that was not the fault of the staff, who were all extremely kind, but I will stay at the Marriott Courtyard around the corner next time. It’s a far superior establishment.
- 1/5
Under massive construction. 1 elevator meant up to 20 minute waits.
- 4/5
We were unaware that the lobby was undergoing reconstruction which affected an elevator usage and the continental breakfast. Wish we would have known. The staff tried to accommodate but we may have chosen elsewhere. Location was great though.
- 1/5
Property under major construction. Was never notified about it. Dust and dirt all over. Only one elevator during the day. Debris everywhere. Restaurant closed. Tv in room didn’t work. They said it was because of construction. Waited 15 minutes for the only elevator to have room for me to go downstairs with the gondola. Horrible stay. Reporting them to Hilton, Expedia.

Very accessible
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, very clean
- 3/5
Staff was lovely, but the hotel seems to be having difficulties keeping up with the property due to the renovation. The microwave was not
- 4/5
As you probably were aware of, the lift issue (1 of the 2 lift only worked) long waiting time (15 min.) unacceptable for a lot of guests during checkout with suitcases. The handle of the shower tap was too loose, so shower got to hot and couldn't stay on a consistent temperature
- 2/5
The staff was friendly and they did get me a early check in but the property itself is a mess the elevators and hallways need deep cleaning they only have one elevator and it takes almost 30 mins to get on and off so you have to factor in extra time to get on elevators if your planning to go somewhere it’s super small the rooms we’re clean but super small the hallways are so small you can barely walk and they are doing construction on the property so it makes it 10xs worse nowhere near worth the price looks nothing like the pictures
- 1/5
The room was clean. The cleaning staff often forgot to leave clean glasses or towels. The building was under construction which was never told to me at the time of booking. That meant one elevator for an entire hotel. It was dusty and loud. The hotel does not have city scape windows and the noise in the room at night made sleeping difficult despite ear plugs. The bagged breakfast was filled with nothing but ultra processed foods. All in all a disaster.
- 5/5
Pretty good for a stay
- 3/5
The location was excellent and the room was nice and clean. The building itself, however, was under complete renovations, amenities including the restaurant were closed, one only working elevator and construction noise was all over the place. Guests needed to be informed at the time of reservation.

Very helpful staff

Construction site dusty entrance. Elevator priority to staff. Toilet clogged at arrival. Hot water trickled out of faucet. Cold water flowed.
- 3/5
Yes
- 4/5
one. Other elevators were being used for construction crews 7 days a week. Results were interminable delay of guest elevator! Unacceptable!
- 2/5
Room was decent and fairly clean. Lobby was a mess from construction. Only 1 elevator available so leave time if youre in a rush. Once I waited 23 minutes.
- 3.5/5
There was construction going on that was not noted when booking. There was no soap in the room.
- 1/5
The bags were filled with cheap, pre-packaged breakfast items like muffins, cookies , apple sauce . The highlight were prepacked slices of apple. And this morning, no warm water in the shower !!! They should close and do their renovation instead of ruining the image of a hilton hotel.
- 5/5
There was a lot near by, very walkable. Liked that the hotel was near the subway. So you could easily access everything.
- 5/5
The property is being refurbished, but that didn’t impact the stay. It was an amazing room, large for NYC and clean. The staff was very friendly and the location is great.
- 4/5
Parking was expensive but it is the city. I did not like the construction by the front because that can be a hazard.
- 2.5/5
Staff was friendly They did not communicate they were under construction. One elevator for 20+ floors is insane. The room was clean however the shoes did not get hot.
- 4/5
The main entrance and lobby were being renovated so it was noisy and the elevator times were greatly impacted. It would have been nice to know about the renovations before booking.
- 3/5
While the staff was wonderful, the building is currently under construction. That mean one elevator is out leaving one for guests. There was a few times especially around early mornings when we would have to wait a few rounds to be able to go down since they were so packed. The drilling and the noise start around 8ish so if you had a late night there will heno sleeping in for you. lol
- 4/5
Staff were very Nice and sweet
- 5/5
The spacious rooms were spotless, and the staff was incredibly courteous. They even accommodated my rooms on the same floor without prior notice. Although the hotel was under renovation, they still offered a delicious breakfast every morning, featuring bagels, cream cheese, granola bars, and juice.
- 1/5
I wish the hotel warned us about construction. I had to ask about things like towels multiple times & tooth brush ( no tooth brushes). The shower sucks. The water pressure in the sink was extremely low we could barely wash our faces. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone!!!
- 5/5
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- 3/5
I wish they would have notified me of construction. The lobby was TERRIBLE. The room heater was very noisy and the blankets were thin. The bath soap/shampoo/lotion was lovely. The staff was delightful. Convenient for where I needed to be for work.
- 1/5
I couldn’t stay at the hotel because I could not get into the place due to construction at the front entrance. I had to find another hotel to stay at!
- 1/5
Unknown construction at the time.
- 5/5
The room is clean.
- 2.5/5
Tell customers the hotel is under construction
- 4/5
Under construction so dining room was closed.
- 5/5
Nice quiet room.....great last day in Manhattan
- 5/5
Perfect. All staff was awesome!
- 2/5
The lobby was under de-construction. Breakfast was in a bag. Coffee was weak. Took a cold shower until I realized that it takes about 15 minutes for the water to heat up. No gym access. None of this was disclosed before booking.
- 1/5
The hotel is being renovated and no disclaimer was shown on the website. I would not have booked this hotel if I’d of known. I was travelling with my family and one member is disabled. Due to the renovation the hotel was loud and dusty, also only one lift was allowed for guests between 8am-5pm, some days we had to wait upto 30 mins for the lift. Also the restaurant was closed and the fitness suite was closed, I spoke to the reception staff who advised me I would have to pay to use an outsource gym which was close to $20 a day, I would have to cover the costs of gym entry myself and I would get credit back in Hilton points which is ridiculous. I emailed Hilton customer service and had an auto reply saying we will get a response in 3 days. It’s now been 8 days and still no reply, bad customer service from such a big company. I find it very misleading not to tell customers/guests you are renovating and this will impact your holiday as they know booking will be cancelled. AVOID THIS HOTEL.
- 3/5
Room was okay although colder than I would have liked and I wasn't able to turn up the temperature. There was construction going on in the lobby and they had one of only two elevators shut down between 8 and 5 every day, even weekends. During those times, it was hard to get an elevator. Had I known, I would have booked somewhere else.
- 2.5/5
Great location Heavy construction that started early and made elevator virtually inaccessible. There was no warning when booking.
- 1/5
We are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn for our first family trip to New York, something we’ve been really looking forward to. Instead of the experience we expected from Hilton, we’ve walked into what feels like a construction site. Yes, it might be lovely once renovations are complete — but there is absolutely no way this hotel should still be open to guests without FULL, direct warning before arrival. We received no notification. No email. No call. Nothing. We booked in good faith and arrived completely unaware of what we were walking into. We’ve since been told it’s “on the website” and that “guests were informed,” but we certainly weren’t — and judging by conversations with others here, we’re not alone. We’re currently in room 1308, and the noise is relentless. The elevator shaft is directly against the room and the sound comes straight through the walls. I’m currently trying to get our 1-year-old down for his afternoon nap, and it’s impossible. Every few minutes the loud mechanical grinding of the lift starts again. Normally, I’d take him out in the stroller for some peace and quiet. But between 8am and 5pm, the elevators are so slow and overloaded due to works that it can take 15–20 minutes just to leave the building. With a tired infant, that’s not just inconvenient — it’s unacceptable. On top of that: • Noi
- 5/5
Clean room, helpful staff.
- 2/5
The hotel is undergoing renovations and certain amenities that I personally take into consideration when booking were not available such as in house dining and fitness center. This was not noted on Expedia and I feel that is misleading to your guests. One should be aware so they can make an informed decision. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. Rates were on the higher end and would have aligned with a hotel that is fully operational.
- 5/5
convenient location
- 5/5
Clean room great area
- 1/5
The hotel is under construction, which was not disclosed at time of booking. The hotel lobby was chaotic at checking with a lot of upset guests. It was a makeshift lobby so about 1/4 the size it usually would be. The smells were quite strong and there was only one elevator available until after 5 pm daily. By the time I got to my room I was having an allergic reaction and unable to attend my plans as a result. The towels had holes in them, the thermostat didn’t work and the water was lukewarm.
- 3/5
Rooms were a bit outdated and seemed small. Staff was nice, we didn’t spend much time in the room so it was fine for what we needed. The hotel is being renovated and there is only one elevator for 26 floors which is frustrating sometimes. They offered grab n go breakfast bags since the restaurant areas weren’t open which was nice because we weren’t planning on getting breakfast from the hotel but it was nice to have a quick bite for everyone before we left for the day. Overall decent but nothing great.
- 1/5
Hotel is undergoing construction. No lobby, lounge, cafe, gym or any of the amenities listed when deciding to book this hotel.
- 3/5
Ongoing construction had only one elevator cart took 20 minutes to get up and down. No stairs to go up
- 3/5
Please Read -MAJOR RENOVATION GOING ON! Only one elevator working, pack your patience. Also, deposit is $100 per night, not per the entire stay. Rooms are Small. What you see here is not what you will get. Other than that, staff was nice and they had breakfast “on the go” bags ready every morning and coffee to compensate for the inconvenience of the construction.
- 1/5
Additionally they had no restaurant, a torn up freezing hotel lobby and only one elevator to suppor the hotel ---- when it was working. When it wasn't working, I had to use the stairs and my room was on the 14th floor. Ridiculous. And never even an apology. Abject contempt for their (previously) loyal customers. I have stayed over 5,000 hotel nights in my life and this one now qualifies as the worst.
- 3/5
They were doing construction on most of the high floors and Lobby.
- 1/5
Took 2 days to look at hot water in shower issue. They mentioned they fixed it but they did not. They came back following day and finally claimed it was broken. They switched us room but the water was warm. Not hot. Front desk hung up on us mid conversation twice. The microwave wasn’t working.
- 3/5
No notice was provided regarding renovation of the hotel. The gym was not available. I wouldn’t have booked the hotel if I knew the gym was not operating.
- 4/5
I loved the cleanliness of the hotel and the location! It would have been nice to know that the hotel was under construction, which included the restaurant. The hotel made every effort to accommodate that and a few of the restaurants offered a small discount! Also, please make it clear that you require a $100 per night security deposit(we stayed 4 nights so that was $400), which wasn’t clearly communicated! Other than that not being clear overall it was a great stay!
- 5/5
Great location
- 3/5
The staff is great, BUT the rooms are small and VERY close together. You can hear conversations in adjacent rooms clearly, and the walls vibrate when nearby room doors close, 24/7, even around the corner. It is NOT conducive to peaceful sleeping! I am a Hilton Honors member, but will not be using this hotel in the future. If EXPEDIA had stated that the place was under construction in their listing, I would NOT have booked this hotel. This makes it hard to trust Expedia in the future.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and confortable
- 2/5
Construction going on and wasn’t aware of, it was an inconvenient with the elevators and entering from the main doors due to the construction, no complementary breakfast was provided or available. No comp was giving on our stay which should have been do to the very loud noise, inconvenient of the 10-15min elevator wait and having to enter and exit through the side emergency exit without notice. I would have booked a different location if I had known. The location was great because you could walk 15-20min to most places nearby
- 3/5
The hotel is under renovation which meant there were no amenities available. They made an effort to accommodate by partnering with local restaurants for discounts and providing a free breakfast to go bag. But had I known it was under construction I probably would have selected a different hotel.
- 3/5
Staff is friendly, but there is construction in the hotel lobby, you hear during the day. Theres noise from what sounds like dumpsters and trucks from a company on the street all night. No buffet breakfast as stated becuase of the construction, but instead a bagged continental breakfast. One elevator working because construction crew using the other. My bathroom was freezing cold.
- 3/5
The room was good but the bathroom was incredibly cold. It seems there’s no heat in the bathroom.
- 2/5
Construction on the floor above us and the elevators took at least 5 mins. Watch out for the bedframes, hit everyone one of our knees on them. ... doesnt make up for it but the shower was the best
- 4/5
The hotel was good, wish I knew there were renovations going on before I booked it. I was relying on having their breakfast.
- 2/5
Staff was good, there was no information about construction being done. Elevator took a long time we had to wait several minutes and not only once.
- 1/5
Looked like few homeless people staying at the hotel. No gym, no breakfast
- 5/5
Under renovation so not applicable
- 1/5
Had a 4 night reservation. Towels not changed nor garbage picked up for all 4 days. Construction rendered lobby unaccessible. Only one elevator available during day resulting of wait times up to 10 -15 minutes. Did not address snow and ice in front of building. Too focused on getting supplies and construction materials into building.
- 3/5
It would have been nice to know the hotel was under construction before I got there. None of the amenities were available because the hotel was under construction.
- 5/5
Great location. Friendly staff. Had a nice view. Will def be back again.
- 1/5
I reserved 4 nights stay. Unfortunately my flight got cancelled and rebooked for next day. So I messaged the property owner that I will check in next day as my flight got cancelled. I arrived next day to the hotel in a harsh weather with a kid and they said that they cancelled my reservation as I didn’t show up on first day. If I want stay then I have to reserve new room which cost me double the amount than my original reservation. I explained my situation and tried to get some resolution. But the manager didn’t respond properly. She is like make a new reservation else leave the property. I made reservation to a different hotel and left. After couple of day the next shocking news came for me. They charged me one day reservation fee for the cancellation as well. They charged me the stay and cancelled my reservation without any notification even after I informed them I will be checking in late. This is my worst experience with Hilton and Expedia.
- 1/5
The listing for this hotel is wildly inaccurate. This hotel is in the middle of a renovation project, which was not mentioned on Expedia's listing for the property. The lobby was filled with contractors coming and going, the elevators were not working during check in, requiring us to climb four floors in the fire stair with our luggage (good thing we were not on the 10th floor!). The restaurant is under renovation and not available to patrons. The thermostat in our room was not functioning, and our room was cold, even when we set the thermostat at 72 degrees. I have photos of the conditions. This was a disappointment and was a real low point in our trip. We checked out early and I will be requesting a refund.
- 2/5
Major construction, one elevator working, no restaurant or bar open due to construction. Only bag breakfast with same food available every day. Awful
- 2/5
Horrible noise plus elevator was out of service
- 4/5
But the room is beautiful and the view of the buildings are nice.
- 3/5
Tons of construction going on. Down to one elevator. The shower curtain had visible smoke burns in it. Beds were comfy though.
- 4/5
Very comfortable and good for the price
- 3/5
Hotel was under construction and restaurant was closed. We were not notified in advance about the inconvenience. Only one working elevator due to construction which made for very long wait, especially in the mornings (10-15 mins). The views were amazing from the rooms.
- 1/5
They are under construction and there was no warning on the site
- 5/5
Excelent!!
- 3/5
In the words of my 12 year old “it wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at, but it wasn’t that good”. There was a subway stop a few blocks away which was great but otherwise not the greatest location if you want to sightsee-especially in the winter! It was being renovated when we were there so down to one elevator, restaurant was closed so bag breakfasts, water never really got hot. I’d say it was just okay. Staff was nice!
- 5/5
Nice staff
- 3/5
Hotel under construction but we were not informed about that. One elevator was dedicated to construction crew so all guests and cleaning staff had to use single elevator. At times wait was 15 min or more. Breakfast came in a bag and was just cheap, sugar-filled muffin. On day there was also an apple but not on second day. Room itself was fine
- 4/5
Bed so comfortable! Elmer, breakfast server, so pleasant. Elevator and handicap room perfect! Location close to the event we were attending. Some stains on furniture in room.
- 0.5/5
Location Worst mattress we ever slept on on in our entire lives.
- 5/5
Amazing service throughout the experience including valet service. Beautiful lobby. Immaculate room. This will be our NYC go to in the future!
- 4/5
The room was reasonably clean and the site was very accessible. However, construction restricted access to only one elevator, making it more difficult to access (long wait).
- 3/5
The hotel was in construction. Limited elevator use, no restaurant service and noise for the construction workers.
- 4/5
The hotel was under construction so things were loud but they did their best to accommodate. There were a few times maintenance/house cleaning tried to come in while we were in the room. But didn’t give us enough time to answer before letting themselves in.
- 1/5
Everything it was so terrible. I just write it down unannounced construction noise, dirty, etc. etc..
- 2/5
1 Elevator from 8am-5pm was horrible due to construction. The 22 flights of stairs or wait 20 mins for an elevator was not fun. Fire alarm also went off "due to construction"
- 4/5
Let them finish the construction so that everything is easier and better.
- 5/5
Clean and good area
- 3/5
Hotel was under construction and they give our room keys to someone else and he entered our room at 1am
- 5/5
exc lugar p poder movilizarse dnd quieras con varias opciones cerca del metro, perfectas condiciones y la habitación limpia y ordenada
- 1/5
the hotel is under heavy construction. they should refund my money. the elevators didnt work and the fire alarm went off.
- 3/5
Our kids room was on a different floor coz someone forgot to take notes, the fixed it next day, one lift was broken so hundreds of people sharing one. It was a 20 minute wait for lift so we ended up using stairs often and it was quicker, we were on the 23rd floor. No hot breakfast available. Maintenance and cleaning were fantastic!
- 3/5
There was only one elevator for the entire building due to renovations, which was a problem. Aside from that, everything else was excellent.
- 5/5
Courteous staff, nice clean room, excellent location. They are going through renovations so restaurant was closed.
- 3/5
The hotel was under construction which was not disclosed. This means no restaurant and only the option of food bags in the morning which were the same daily. There is only one elevator available during construction hours making it difficult to leave or get back to your room. We also had to switch rooms because of a water leak in the bathroom which leaked all over. These are things that should be divulged. Location was good, staff was good.
- 2/5
The hotel was poorly maintained, the furniture and carpets were heavily worn out. Also, the bar and restaurant were not operational. Overall it felt like a 2-star lodge motel.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 2/5
Elevator was trash
- 4/5
Good hotel but a bit small and there is nothing to do inside :p
- 4/5
No balcony. No bar.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and nice staff
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful.
- 3/5
It was a basic room. Needs renovating. Elevator is slowwwww. Had to use steps twice or miss ride because it was so slow. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great balcony! Enjoyed my time
- 4/5
Obviously good location being in Midtown. You could see that there was local in house decorating efforts. Bartender could not speak english and the breakfast was 4 out of 10. Elevators…seemed like only one was available for the first 2 days and nothing was communicated. Room: We chuckled that many items were not level. TV, thermostat and the shower valve plate. Those are maintenance issues where a little pride would go a long way. Also, TV cannot access Amazon Prime. Bed were very comfortable along with the pillows. Overall paying $450/night in Midtown was a good value. I just think, doing more of the little things can help the overall experience.
- 2/5
Room was outdated but clean. However noise from elevator shaft really disrupted our sleep
- 5/5
staff was great and the room was well maintained
- 5/5
Loved the room service every day!!
- 5/5
Clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Close to subway.
- 2/5
I had arrived 1 hr before my show. I ask for Valet Parking. I give the seat the keys to my truck and leave to my show. I returned from my show 4 hrs later to find my truck has remain unlocked and flashers still going. Mind you to a parking ticket for 125.00 from NYC. I was told this is my ticket and they do nothing about it. I had to park my truck myself. If I would have known this I would have taken it right away. The elevators are used by staff to run cleaning supplies from floor to floor so it’s tough to catch a ride to your floor without a bunch of people and cleaning supplies. I would never again stay at a Hilton because of this. I understand and have patience for situations but my truck set the entire weekend on a negative. It was the worse Xmas experience I had in NYC in my life.
- 4/5
Clean rooms; easy access to NY sights
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff and great location.
- 5/5
Great hotel with easy, close subway access.
- 5/5
Very good service, location and friendly staff
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
The hotel needs to be updated. Carpet stained, broken hooks in bathroom (so no where to hang clothes) and lobby looked dirty. Definitely wouldn’t stay here again. I expected more out of a Hilton
- 5/5
Of course, we were well treated at the hotel an didn’t encounter any issues while we were there and we hope they will keep doing their job that way in the long run.
- 5/5
Clean room and great staff
- 3/5
We looked out at the side of an old bldg. Street noise through wall heater and AC. Tiny room.
- 5/5
Good staff
- 3/5
Not good
- 2/5
No bar/restaurant. Shut down for renovations. Bed uncomfortable. Unaware before booking of $400 credit card hold for a week after stay. Ask questions before staying here.
- 3/5
Staff, room
- 5/5
Very clean, extremely nice staff
- 2/5
Rooms are outdated. Evening staff don’t seem too motivated to do anything. Trash overflowing in lobby from free hot chocolate. Not a good look for a “Hilton”. They should lose their status. Too outdated. I won’t be back to this specific hotel. For the record: First shift staff amazing. 5 Starts!
- 5/5
Clean and courteous staff
- 2/5
The elevator was slow and there was only 2 for the entire hotel. The water in the shower was cold.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 3/5
Typical New York crappy hotel at an inflated rate
- 5/5
The check-in was easy, the room was clean and the location was perfect to experience New York at Christmas time!
- 5/5
Good location and safe. Friendly staff.
- 2/5
Room needed updating. Ratty carpet. Towel rack coming off wall, peeling wallpaper, crummy curtains.
- 1/5
Room very very small Can’t even open suitcase. Last time at a Garden In
- 3/5
More to get to the main level. One day we got tired of waiting and walked down the 24 flights of stairs. Other than this, it was a pleasant stay. It was a good location, a few streets over from radio city and about a half a mile or so from Times Square. Lots of diving of all budgets within a few streets. Overall a decent stay.
- 5/5
Rooms very clean but quite small.
- 5/5
Good experience , excellent location , perfect stay
- 4/5
Would have enjoyed 24/7 coffee.
- 4/5
I booked a room for one night we were going to a show. The view was great of NYC, however, it had a handicapp accessible bathroom which would have been OK but the engineering of the design was extremely inaccurate causing the water to cover the bathroom floor passing under the door, and puddle on the floor outside the bathroom. It required an extra set of towels on the floor to contain the water. It is a hazard looking to happen. I could not stand at the bathroom sink and use the mirror there was that much water on the floor. It was apparent that this was an ongoing problem because the bottom of the bathroom door showed evidence of being patched and painted over. Our room was on the 26th floor and only 1 of the 2 elevators worked. Needless to say, we were packed in the elevators like sardines, and for a person who suffers from clostiphobia it took all I had to focus in order to not have a panic attack. Yes, this was brought to the attention of the manager on duty. Next is the Hilton corporate to share photos.
- 3/5
good location.
- 4/5
Good staff basic hotel to sleep
- 5/5
Clean room, polite staff, convenient location
- 2/5
I payed for a room with a city view and did not get that. Water from shower soaks the whole bathroom floor. Check in was for 3 and our room wasn’t ready until 6pm
- 4/5
Room was clean. The shampoo and body wash they supply in the room is nice. My only complaint was waiting FOREVER for the elevators. There are only 2. And if the cleaners are on them they skip floors to go to where they need to be. All the staff i encountered were very nice amd helpful. I loved that they are willing to tag your bags and keep them while we walk around before check in. I wish the hot chocolate they out front lasted longer.
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff
- 4/5
Rooms were clean.
- 1/5
Room wasn’t ready for over an hour after check in time
- 4/5
The room was perfect for what i needed
- 4/5
Clean room, accommodating staff and a great location make this our go to spot when we travel to NYC.
- 4/5
Good stay for the price. Excellent location.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, room was clean, and there was complimentary hot chocolate.
- 3/5
Overall experience was disappointing. There were no fresh towels available one whole day. The breakfast service and food were terrible. The bartender didn’t know how to make mixed drinks. In sum, the hotel is managed incompetently.
- 1/5
The check-in took 30 minutes. It was unbelievably slow and unbearable.
- 5/5
Great services
- 4/5
We requested towels and it took over 24hrs to get them to us. Otherwise everything was pleasant.
- 3/5
warm welcome and attentive
- 2/5
Housekeeping was very rude and did not keep up our room very well. This wouldn’t have been a problem but on the last day a housekeeper got smart with me because we had stepped out for breakfast and when we came back she was cleaning our room. We asked her if she could return later as we were getting ready to gather our things and leave to check out and she proceeded to be very rude and “annoyed” that we interrupted her even though we were just trying to gather our things to leave.
- 2/5
For this reason I was going to stay in and do nothing unlike most people who would be here exploring the city. So when I read before booking that there would be in room dining and a restaurant downstairs I was excited I won’t need to even step outside for food. I checked in and scanned the QR code in the room to pull out the menu, checked the hours for in room dining and called guest service to order. I was then quickly brushed off by a response “we don’t do in room dining”. I told them it’s written on their website which was replied with “well it shouldn’t”. I was appalled by the non apologetic response and the misleading information that is all over the website and in room. Another minor issue was that I was given two bottles of water with sleeves that said water was complimentary for honor members. When I checked the bill I was charged for them. I had to call the customer service 6 times to finally reach an operator who then told me that my honor member status was not eligible for free water. I was so confused because you can’t just put water bottles stating they’re free in my room and charge for them afterwards. I pointed that out and she talked to a manger and came back telling me they’re going to remove the water charge and send me a corrected bill. Which never came. So overall terrible customer service but otherwise the room was nice and clean.
- 5/5
Great location for easy walking to restaurants and subway station. Friendly staff with comfortable rooms
- 4/5
This was the perfect location for walking to most of our destinations. Hotel was clean and comfortable.
- 2/5
I did t have room service for two days . No beds done, no clean towels given, trash were not thrown out. I had to call and ask on Friday why did I not get room service, that had no explanation to give me. I ask them to at least bring cleans towels to the room. And I gave the the trash to throw out. The next day Saturday we get to the rom around 4 and no service again. I had to call and ask why did they not have my room clean.
- 3/5
Staff was good. Room could be much better, and there are no hand soaps or anything provided for the rooms.
- 2/5
The room don’t feel was clean option for breakfast was poor
- 5/5
Great room
- 4/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Everyone was great and the room was perfect
- 4/5
Comfy beds, rooms pretty clean. Had a fridge, space for our clothes and good size bathroom. Staff were not the friendliest and elevators took long. Good location! Would stay again.
- 3/5
The bed was slanted in the room, so that bodies rolled towards the center of bed and end. The toilet had difficulty flushing and the shower seal was broken, so it leaked. Curtains to prevent light from coming in would have been beneficial.
- 3/5
Friendly staff , cleanliness could be better for the entry area, didn’t look as advertised
- 3/5
Had bad experience at the checkout.
- 5/5
Great price and room was good for the price
- 5/5
Room was ready when we arrived, great location and clean room!
- 4/5
Clean, 2 queen beds, average views

Clean room and nice staff
- 5/5
Great, clean, hotel located in a great part of town! Everything was a convenient walk away. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
It has a great location. I went with my daughter for a family trip. It was a good room for two. Bathroom pretty nice, newly remodeled. The staff were very helpful.
- 3/5
Good property overall but poor check in process and communication among staff which lead to inconveniences the entire stay.
- 5/5
Apparently under some construction. Room was roomie enough. House keeping very good. Elevators small but to be expect . Front desk accomendating for luggage hold pre and post check in/out. Able to get late check out with our Hilton Honor membership.
- 4/5
Great hotel but not enough elevators
- 1/5
AC unit squealed when running
- 5/5
Business trip and functional for the trip. Never had breakfast and its mid-town Manhattan
- 2/5
Cleaning staff threw my pajamas on the floor. I don't understand why they did that
- 5/5
Great place to stay

This is my second visit in as many years. This property has been in a construction zone for years and it's lobby looks like it. Staff is nearly absent at the front desk. I checked in at 4PM but my room type was unavailable, so they downgraded me. The whole lobby area is unclean and uninviting. Rooms are small, dated, but adequate in a pinch. I'll find another hotel next time.

check in guy at 12:30 AM was very pleasant, I am in hospitality trade. he was very pleasant
- 5/5
Clean room, accommodating and excellent staff and customer service. Incredible location with easy access to subway and walking distance to many attractions and spots
- 2/5
Property not well maintained. Rooms with elevator noise kept me awake. Good housekeeing in the rooms. Reception staff mostly unfriendly.
- 3/5
Decent hotel in midtown. Great location. Good facilities. Main problem was how noisy it was.
- 1/5
Dirty and not safe . Homeless people in lo
- 5/5
It was extremely pricey as we were there during some events in NYC but the hotel is very conveniently located and clean
- 1/5
The service is bad
- 3/5
The second day, we returned after being gone for 10 hours. Our room had not been cleaned. Dirty towels are still on the floor, trash cans overflowing. I called the desk and was told housekeeping had marked the room clean. I assured them it was not. I asked for more towels to be brought up. For 4 people, they brought 3 towels and 5 floor mats. The next day before leaving the room, I spoke with the desk and asked them to make sure the room would be cleaned while we were out. She said no problem. 4 hours later we returned, and the room still had not been cleaned. I went to the desk, spoke with the ladies who were very nice, and they were very apologetic. An hour later housekeeping came up and we had to wait for an hour while they cleaned it. We were given a voucher for free breakfast which was very nice, but the food was mediocre. I wanted to like this place, the location is great, but I doubt that I’d stay here again.
- 3/5
They have charged $3 for small 1 bottle of water. Vey very small room and bad service
- 5/5
Good location
- 3/5
I only stayed one night but I do not recommend this hotel. My room was next to the elevator and I constantly heard a loud noise when the elevators go up and down. The elevators are constantly in use. For breakfast there is no counter with several options. You have to order according to what is available that day. There was only one egg/sausage sandwich or waffle . No thanks. The room is okay but nothing more. It's small and starting to smell old.
- 3/5
Clean rooms, terrible waiting area and unloading area, staff friendly but confused with how certain things operated when asking them about it like VIP parking.
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
It would be better with balconies.
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Very clean, good location
- 4/5
About a block away from train station. Great location, comfortable stay. Having queen beds vs double beds was a plus. Breakfast was not great, slow service (30 min!) and they always were out of bacon, fruits, etc. how can you run out of these basic items every day? Other thn that, no issues. Bathroom worked, toiletries were great.
- 3/5
Took us over 30 minutes to check in. Rest was great
- 3/5
it was ok
- 3/5
Shower did’t drain till we were out of the shower.
- 5/5

Good hotel
- 5/5
I loved the location
- 5/5
Amazing
- 5/5
Best location 😀
- 5/5
Convenient
- 5/5
I was visiting New York for the first time, and we were within walking distance of subway stations and restaurants. I found the hotel staff to be very accommodating and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Rooms are bigger than average at a reasonable price.
- 3/5
Great location
- 1/5
Got electrocuted by thermostat that didn’t have a cover on it. A couple of people on my floor argue the whole time and you could hear them through the walls.
- 4/5
The room was nice, neat & quiet.
- 5/5
Nice room, plenty of space
- 5/5
The hotel is tucked away from busy area (traffic wise) but walking distance to almost everything like Rockefeller, Broadway, shopping and eating, specially to Serendipity where our girls begged us to go. The room is small but we spend most of our time outside exploring New York so it wasn’t a big deal. We are supposed to check in at 4pm but when we arrived at 2pm, our room is ready so we have plenty of time to get ready, eat and walk to Broadway to watch Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. It was a great experience. It’s also close to the airport.
- 4/5
Easy to get in and out. Close to many shopping places
- 4/5
This was our second stay at the hotel. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect and made our trip go very smoothly.
- 5/5
great

Checked in to a 5th floor room with construction happening on the deck immediately below our window for 2/4 nights (9 PM - 3 AM). Highly recommend looking elsewhere for accommodations if you expect hospitality to be included in the price of your stay. When the issue was raised to the front desk it was brushed off and dismissed rather than addressed seriously.
- 5/5
Everything was beautiful and clean!
- 2/5
I left my eyeglasses in the room on checkout. Nobody would answer the front desk phone in about 10 attempted calls. I went by there and was told “there’s no lost and found log” of said item being found. Basically just didn’t do anything other than check a log. Room was loud, lots of hallway noise. “Restaurant” was dirty and run down. I think there are better places to stay for the $. Location is good for easy access to subway though.
- 4/5
The room was nice but it was a handicap room and the shower got the entire floor so wet! Also, it says onsite parking but it is not onsite it is a couple blocks away. In addition, they had a lobby full of people waiting to check in before 3pm and would not check anyone in until exactly 3pm on the dot. So at 3 there was a huge line across the lobby. In every hotel I have been to if they had a room available before check in they would check you in. You can't tell me all the rooms were ALL still being cleaned until exactly and I mean exactly 3pm!!
- 1/5
Not fair after 14 hour flight to have that much noise throughout out the night ..etc
- 1/5
We have stayed at this property several time; however, this time was the worst. Half way through our stay the one of the property's elevators failed to work. And my family and I had to wait for hours to go up and/or down for approximately 45 minutes to an hour. To make matters worse we stayed on the 28th floor. Also, we had to walk 28 floors a few times. I asked to speak to the GM and he/she was not in site during our stay. Additionally, I requested the the GM call my cell both at the property and several times following our stay. I never got a returned call. As a Hilton Honors Gold Member I would have thought I would be given the courtesy of a discussion with the GM. I will never stay at this property again!
- 5/5
Only one elevator for the most part was in use, so that was kind of annoying, but overall, it was fine.
- 1/5
We had a reservation set up for months. Showed up from hotel and was told that our room was canceled due to overbooking. Did not get any help finding a new room or help from the staff. Was absolutely terrible experience. Wouldnt recommend a Hilton to anyone ever after such a horrible experience.

Hotel convention
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again. It’s a small room but its cozy in its way. I just wish i was told before about their property damage charge beforehand. Also, their Ice machine would work sometimes. Very close by the E train station and many food options around.
- 1/5
Worst hotel in my life!
- 4/5
Or meals. But staff was pleasant, helpful with directions, location convenient to Grand Central station for LIRR. Room clean and comfortable. I would stay again.
- 4/5
Construction out front. Hot beverages in the morning were unavailable.
- 5/5
Like it
- 4/5
No hot shower
- 3/5
The breakfast was decent though. Would not stay here again because of the wait time of the elevators in the morning.
- 3/5
Good value
- 4/5
It was nice
- 1/5
The ceiling started leaking in the middle of the night. Was forced to change rooms and was not refunded.
- 5/5
Loved this stay thanks for being so welcoming!
- 5/5
Management is always responding to your needs and concerns.

Good location. Bed comfort.
- 5/5
Loved this hotel; very clean. Friendly staff
- 5/5
We liked everything.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Bad service
- 5/5
It was definitely worth it for the price. Although the room was small, it was clean and the bathroom was nice and clean as well. Many food options in walking distance.
- 4/5
Me & My husband stayed the weekend for our anniversary. The rooms are small but they are comfortable. We had a great time & we will be back.
- 1/5
Property overbooked the hotel rooms and we were told they cannot find our reservation, even though we showed proof of reservation. Staff was dismissive and said we need to contact Expedia since they cannot do anything to rectify the situation, even if they wanted, being overbooked already. How can you be overbooked if somebody didn't make an error when accepting reservations? We had to book last minute, at double price another hotel across the street.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was great. The location was close to the subway which was the best and easiest way to commute. Our room was always clean and stocked when we returned from our daily outitngs. They were also great about holding our bags for a bit when we checked out My only complaint was that the 2 elevators werent always working so sometimes we had to wait a bit for a cart to go up or down to our room.
- 3/5
Apparently outside of the building is still under construction, looks a bit busy outside compared to the official photos. Might be noisy at night due to construction taking place almost all day.
- 5/5
It was ok. Staff was kind of rude
- 3/5
Rooms are too small
- 4/5
The location was good and the staff were helpful. The room was smaller then I preferred but overall I had a good stay.
- 2/5
Breakfast at this hotel is a scam. Don't pay for it and go somewhere else. We paid for this for 3 days and never was able to get the buffet, bacon or maple syrup. We felt like we had to make the best of it. When you cant get a single meal on the menu they provide without missing something its a bit much. We expected much more. Especially when we paid extra for the breakfast. I really can't recommend this place. It looked clean. Beds were ok. Poor breakfast service. Hot rooms.
- 5/5
So many great food options close by. Within a block for sure. Also a CVS with everything you need on the same block. Room was a good size for NYC, view was awesome and location was excellent
- 4/5
The location is perfect and the price is good. But room is very tight and our towels were taken away one day without replacement. The telephone is old and the instruction was unclear.
- 3/5
This was not a good Hilton property. The lobby looks dirty, and the elevator situation was terrible. They only have two elevators, and the housekeeping staff and guests must use them. They were constantly slow and crowded. They should have a separate elevator for the staff only. Because the rooms are so small, the wooden bed frame protrudes, and I was constantly bumping my legs against it. I suggest that Hilton sell this property to another lesser hotel chain. The staff was not friendly or accommodating. This is not a Hilton standard hotel. I will not stay at this location ever again. The outside area always smelled like pot!!!
- 5/5
Very nice area, it's close to everything. The only thing I didn't like is the incidentals is a extra 100 per night that will eventually fall off
- 4/5
It was a central location for our plans for that evening
- 3/5
Towels and bedding stained. Water doesn’t really get too hot. Strange smells, especially right out side. There was a man taking photos to send to his boss of the filthy carpets in the lobby and said “these are so dirty I need to send photos to my boss” … Next door to a couple sports bars so it does get quite noisy at night. It was good for what was needed, but I don’t think I’ll be staying here again.
- 5/5
The overall experience was very noce
- 5/5
We stayed for 4 nights. The property is clean and quiet. You are close enough to grab the subway or walk to Times Square etc. I feel value for money was exceptional. We could have stayed closer to the action but prices would be more.
- 3/5
Our hotel stay had 2 towels for 4 days…. Cmon
- 5/5
It was a great stay! Enjoyed everything
- 4/5
Nice and convenient location. The lobby was a bit small but they had an adjacent restaurant they could use daytime to hold luggage after checkout which was nice
- 4/5
The building was being worked on
- 4/5
Smaller than I expected. But it was very clean and very nice! Staff were all kind!
- 5/5
Excellent location. Very close to subway entrance and excellent pubs nearby (and next door). The area is not as touristy, but if you want to go to the bagel shop around the corner, you better get there early!
- 4/5
Great location for our needs. Good clean room. Friendly helpful staff
- 4/5
elevator wait could be long as hotel don't have a service elevator.otherwise comfortable hotel
- 3/5
Lots of food options 5 mins or less walking distance. The outside of hotel is currently covered by scaffolding so at first makes it hard to find. Only two elevators and sometimes takes a few minutes to come. Hallways are very small and hot. Hotel room was average size for NYC. Room was fairly clean but walls are thin enough that I could hear next rooms conversation from my room. Curtains are not light blocking, Air conditioner kept shutting off during the night which made the room extremely hot and difficult to get a good night sleep. Mattress was decent, on the firm side. Staff was nice.
- 5/5
Great place to stay!
- 5/5
This is the second time in three years that we’ve stayed here and it was as good if not better than the first time. We stayed here for 9 days and the place is very clean, air conditioning works great, the place is centrally located and the subway stations are just down the street. It’s a safe place, the staff was welcoming and we will be returning hopefully next year when we again visit New York as we like to do very year .
- 4/5
Upon checking in, I was not allowed to use my rewards member number because it’s in my husband’s name and he was not present for the stay—why would have my own separate account?? We got keys to our room and went upstairs only to find that our keys didn’t work because the room was already occupied by somebody and was not at all what we booked. We had to go back downstairs and get that sorted out. When we went back upstairs, the door would not close completely behind us. We had to pull it/push it shot every time we came in and out of the door.
- 1/5
And then the next room same thing. Gigantic cockroach and they need to get that under control This is a Hilton - I always choose Hiltons This was not a good choice
- 4/5
I enoyed my week in Manhattan.
- 1/5
I didn’t like the hotel facilities at all. The entrance is dirty and smells bad, the red carpets are filthy, there are only 2 elevators for 28 floors, staff with cleaning stuff equipment and guests, the lau dry facilities are not cery clean, the comvenirnt store lacks choices, The coraning time is unpredictable. The neighbors are noisy. The menu option is poor. The breakfaat staff is nice and polite.
- 3/5
Housekeeping was done late one day an not ar all the next. Appreciate microwave and fridge in room. Included breakfast not worth it. Includes scrambled eggs sausage cereals and breads but not with 21.95.
- 4/5
Location
- 3/5
Crowded
- 4/5
The property was nice the location was close to eateries and Time Square
- 5/5
Great location walk anywhere staff great balcony was great view
- 4/5
Construction going on
- 4/5
Great property. Close to the 6 and many other things. On a “quite” street.
- 4/5
Overall good experience and would recommend this property. Hotel had construction around it so entrance a little crowded. Staff friendly and attentive. Area to hold bags until check in great plus. Limited vending.
- 3/5
Ac unit leaking on the floor. No soap in the bathroom room not that clean.
- 4/5
The hotel is close to the Metro and many restaurants. It is New York, so I understand the size but the elevator situation and not giving joining rooms really soured our stay.
- 5/5
The employee being helpful on the Saturday shift overnight ...and also Keshawn's assistance is also to be mentioned. Above and beyond for both. I will remember and am satisfied...
- 5/5
Just perfect
