Hilton Club West 57th Street New York

We actually hated this hotel upon arrival because the lobby is boring and looks like you're checking in at a quick care however each day we liked the actual room more and more. It had no view and we were on a low floor but the room itself was really spacious for Manhattan and quite updated. The cleaning staff is excellent, we always came back to a clean room and fresh towels. We don't spend much time in the hotel, we basically just sleep and shower there. The location couldn't be more perfect.

Front desk staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Sheryl (don’t know if that is how she spells her name) was particularly helpful and just very friendly and professional. The housekeeping could use some help but otherwise it was an overall great stay. Everyone from the reception to the valet/bell were very friendly. The valet arranged for a yellow cab to pick me up at 4am for my flight which was much better than an Uber pickup so I appreciated that. The rooms were very spacious and clean which is something of a rarity in NYC, and the location is prime. Would stay here again.

Staff was extremely nice and was always helpful. Rooms very comfy and clean. Always fresh. Had no issues for the whole week while in NYC. That we had to leave.

All of it. No complimentary breakfast like in Residence Inn 6th Avenue (we stayed there for 3 nights before moving to Hilton Club West).

Very comfortable and great front desk staff. Would have been a big help to get the address for parking in advance - garage was hard to find, and one block east. Unable to get a response from messaging hotel and called for info but was given incorrect address! That being said, good price point for parking this part of town - bellman adds a sticker to your parking voucher and it’s good for 24 hours from time of parking - price includes tax

The studio was really beautiful and well-maintained. The assistance from the staff was simply fantastic. They were always willing to answer all your questions and help wherever needed. no comments

However, why floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows when in such close proximity to other buildings? Curtains almost completely drawn all the time (unless clothed!) as a result. Hope this doesn’t sound too mean. It was all perfectly ok.

Close to many landmarks and the subway. The rooms were big. The bed was comfortable, and the entire staff from the doorman to the person who clean the room were exceptional people. I also appreciated how the front staff would welcome us back each time we returned from an outing. NA

Loved our stay! Clean, spacious room and great location - close to Central Park, 5th Ave, Rockefeller Center, with a subway station almost right next door. Very comfortable bed, room was cleaned every day, and staff were helpful (although some of them were not very friendly). Our room was at the back of the property so not so great views but we didn’t really mind it as it means it was quiet. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in NYC!

A very nice hotel in a prime location, with very friendly staff and good facilities. The room would have been quiet had it not been for the noisy fridge and the aircon, which was difficult to regulate. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom could be better. But all in all, we had a very pleasant stay. We felt good all-around and would definitely book this hotel again.

Room was clean and quite. Location is great with quick access to multiple subway stations, a market, restaurants, and Central Park. We were on the back side of the hotel which doesn't have nearly as good of a view as the front. Lighting in corridors is very oddly designed and downright dark at the elevator area. On property amenities are non existed other than a fitness room. Complimentary 2 bottles of water in the room everyday was nice though. We only make one big trip a year and I wasn't clued into what a "Hilton Club" is. Upon checking in we were offered what can best be described as a time share presentation on joining the "Club" in exchange for Hilton points. We declined and weren't bothered with it again. I get it, they are trying to sell the "Club", but given that I wasn't expecting to have a sales pitch thrown at me as soon as I walked in the door it did give off kind of a car salesman feeling. Just be prepared if your not in the club that you'll be pitched to as well.

The room was huge and very clean . The location was the best I could ask next to everything and close to 2 metro station. Most of the staff (accept one lady in the rasption that was very nice and helpful and advise ass how to use the metro and the metro app) was very cold not welcoming and not friendly. Maybe it is because we are not from the us but most of the staff felt quite rode to us.

From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with genuine warmth and patience. After a long day of travel, that kind of welcome immediately put both me and my child at ease. What stood out most was how attentive and thoughtful she was—not just to me as a guest, but to my child as well. She took the time to engage with her, offered a welcome gift , and even made sure we had everything we needed in the room to stay comfortable. Little gestures—like checking in on us during our stay or welcoming back every time they saw us at the lobby—made it feel less like a transaction and more like we were truly valued guests. Exceptional service can turn a good stay into a memorable one, and this hotel delivered exactly that. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone.

Great location. Comfortable bed. Surprisingly spacious bathroom. Housekeeping staff is first rate. I wish Hilton would stop trying to sell its bogus “ownership” time-share program. Just go back to being a reliably good, slightly upscale hotel chain.

A surprising oasis in Manhattan. Clean. Room I reserved was quite spacious by Manhattan standards. And modern. I will stay here again.

Fabulous location. I stayed here previously and was very impressed by the staff and the room. I hated my room on this visit. I was right next to the elevator and asked to be moved, but the staff member I spoke to most suggested I "call in the morning" to see if anything else was available. I didn't bother. Overall the staff lacked the friendliness and didn't provide the level of service I experienced previously.

The unbeatable location down the block from Carnegie Hall offers lots of dining and entertainment options and is a short walk to major subway lines. Sound proofing is effective, reducing noise from the busy and noisy 57th St. Elevators are surprisingly quiet. Beds are comfortable and modern and bathrooms are bright and attractive. High floors on the north side have a bit of a view of Central Park. Amenities are fine. Internet is fast. One minus with the large "studio suite" layout is that it's just that--a studio--it would have been easy to have added a door to provide privacy between the living room area and the bedroom area and some working space in the living area. There are also insufficient electrical outlets in the living area for people needing to plug in a laptop. But it's a great hotel overall; one of the nicer options in NYC.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hilton Club West off 57th st. It was convenient to delicious restaurants, grocery stores, Central Park and shopping. The staff was always courteous and welcoming and the rooms are SPACIOUS. I've stayed in multiple New York hotels and this hotel had the most space, by far. Would def stay again.

This hotel is in a great location near Central Park and the Theater District. We were able to walk to nice restaurants and to the shows we attended. The hotel offers a great breakfast buffet and an evening happy hour (2hrs) with wine, beer, and heavy hors d'oeuvres. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in had a king bed that was very comfortable, a couple of chairs, large TV, a small refrigerator, and safe. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has exceeded our expectation for sure! The location on West 57th St. and 6th Ave is the best spot. We walked everywhere to Central Park, Shopping Zone and a lots of restaurants around. The hotel offers free bottled water and Nespresso coffee machine which is also a huge plus. We will be back! 😎

The room and bathroom were very comfortable and nicely appointed. We had a Keurig coffee maker, a refrigerator and a microwave that we requested. Having a safe in the room was nice and the staff cleaned the room daily.

They did not tell us when we checked in there was a bar and lounge on the 2nd floor. Pillows were very flat and well past their usable life. Streaming in room did not work they tried to fix it but did not succeed. Safe battery was flat and locked our passports in the safe on departure day fortunately maintenance were able to unlock it. And beware the A/C it is loud very loud

We had a great stay at the hotel, service was top notch. If you are on the lower floors it can be noise but you can’t beat the location or the service. We will definitely stay there again.

Great hotel in nice neighbourhood, convenient transportation, and lots of options for dining.

I think this is a good deal for Manhattan. It's expensive, but so is everything else, and if you can paying a bit more for this is totally worth it. The drop in quality when choosing the somewhat cheaper but ok options. like Hampton Inn etc. etc. is significant. This is a very nice hotel with excellent staff.

Best NYC hotel I have stayed at over the years! Large room for manhattan!

We had a great stay at this very nice hotel. It was two blocks south of Central Park and two blocks from the train station where we met our kids who live in NYC. We were able to navigate around NYC very easily from this location. Much quieter than staying in Times Square. We would definately stay here again in the future!

My favourite place to stay. Great sized rooms, elegant modern style and scrupulously well kept and clean. The best of all was the friendliest and kindest staff in NYC.

The staff was friendly, welcoming, helpful and treated us like family. The location was convenient and walkable to the subway with many restaurants and shops around.

Lovely hotel in a great location! Comfortable bed, very clean and GREAT staff. Nice coffee set up in room, even had cream in the fridge, I never seen that before and was a wonderful thing!!! I will stay here again when I get back to NYC!

For the price, it’s hard to complain about this property and you are getting maybe more than you pay for. While there is no restaurant or bar or real lobby to speak of, the rooms are large, clean, and it is in a great location on my opinion.

Super amazing until the end. Loved the hotel, staff and spacious rooms. Recommended it to others I know in NY but keep in mind they have an extremely rare check out policy. 10 AM check out time which is something I’ve never heard of and they were calling my room at 10:04 and knocking on my door at 10:14. They should mention this when you check in and seemed excessive considering I was there for 7 nights. Then when I came back to get my bags the guys let me carry them outside to the car. Sad when an incredible stay ends on a not so positive note.

We had a room with a balcony and deep soaking tub…it was awesome. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in NYC and this room was my favorite by far.

This hotel is in a great location. A couple minutes walk to Central Park. Walkable to Guggenheim Museum, Broadway, Empire State, USS Intrepid, MoMA, The Met. Great food options near the hotel. The room we had was quiet and nicely decorated, and immaculately clean. I recommend this hotel.

Room was excellent, clean and hospitable. Staff was friendly, felt very welcomed. All needs were attended to in a friendly manner. Was first time in New York, yet one of our best hotel stays.

Excellent short stay - great hotel and it felt like we were ‘coming home’ when we checked in.

I also left some clothes in the room and the staff are kind enough to arrange shipping to return them to me in the UK. Great staff.
