    Not sure if that’s a regular occurrence, but it was horrible for us. Breakfast was good. Check in was easy. We had to wait at the airport about 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up and there weren’t enough spots for all of the groups waiting at the airport needing transport. The driver said he’d be back to get others in another 30 minutes, even though the hotel was a short distance away and he could have easily gone back faster. Traveling with kids, arriving late at night, the whole situation worked out but was less than ideal.

    We stay at this hotel so often when traveling to and feom JFK and it's always reliable and consistent. The staff is friendly, the food in the little restaurant off the lobby is tasty, the free breakfast has a lot of options and is kept clean by the staff, the rooms are surprisingly spacious and always clean. Most importantly, thr shuttle to the airport comes every 20 minutes and has been totally reliable.

    The hotel itself was a fair location as a base for JFK. I took a cab to it, but there is one shuttle an hour to the hotel if you want to take it. The bedroom was large with two doubles so more than enough room. The hotel staff were helpful enough, gave me guidance on bus and underground into the city and helped recover my phone charger from the room after I checked out. Everything at breakfast is single waste plastic, I have never seen such wastage before and was a bit of a shock. Breakfast is basic with limited options overall. The hotel does feel worn down and is not particularly warm / welcoming. I had to unplug the fridge to sleep as it was making such a loud noise, and the towels are thin and smell strongly of bleach.

    The shuttle bus convenience to the airport The decor was outdated, the brown carpet was very depressing. We arrived and found a towel with a stain on it. The shower head was detached from the wall and the tap made an irritating noise while showering. The AC was faulty, the windows were foggy and the toilet wouldn’t flush completely and the TV is so old and outdated

    The shuttle stop to the hotel was easy to find at Federal Circle. For the return journey, very early in the morning, the driver kindly dropped us off right at the terminal. The reception staff and the bar attendant were very friendly and helpful. We just booked a standard room, but it was very spacious and comfortable. We got a bite to the eat at the bar, and were given a snack bag for the morning, seeing we'd be leaving before breakfast hours. I understand that it's temporary during JFK renovations, but when we arrived, we had to lug all our stuff on the air train to get to the shuttle stop.

    Easy to get to from JFK using the free hotel shuttle, just a few mins drive. We used it to and from the airport. We had a night in between flights and wanted to stay close by in a convenient, clean room - and the room really was spacious, nice shower, and overall clean and pleasant. The breakfast is included which was a great bonus and it was good. Could you more lighting in the room, and aircon was a little noisy - nothing that was a real problem for us.

    For the location close to JFK it worked out well. Neighborhood is run down and nothing in walking distance. Breakfast area was messy during breakfast, food was on the floor, though staff came to wipe the tables down. The B rating on health score was concerning.     The breakfast and the airport shuttle service was good. The check in process was slow and not good had to go to the front desk three times to get a new key that never worked. Eventually security had to let us in. We reserve the room with a king bed. They gave us two double beds. The room wasn't clean, very old and outdated. I would not recommend this location if traveling with kids. If you're looking for a place to stay with a breakfast and shuttle service to the airport and maybe it may be worth it for you, not a long-term stay location.

    The rooms are averagely clean, the carpets are old and dirty. The staff are very helpful and responsive. Breakfast is good. Parking is terrible. There is no parking after certain time of the night. We went to a party and came back at 3am. the parking was full and there is n vacant street parking either. It was tough parking and be able to sleep in the room you reserve.

    Badly managed shuttle service. Looked like the driver could not care that the bus was soon filled with what looked like non-customers of the hotel or airline passengers, rushing to the bus and filing it only to leave legitimate customers and airport traveler’s with bags, off the bus to wait for the next one in the rain.

    i made a mistake and selected the wrong date. so being i made this mistake i called and was polite and talked through my mistake. at this time they tried charging me a Insane fee to change the date. it took almost a hour to get them so change the date. i was not asking for a refund just a date change and even agreed to pay the additional rate cost as i know cost changes from day to day. so after paying an additional charges they changed the date and sent me a new reservation. but then after driving 4 hours and went to check in the hotel had no record of my stay even after showing my reservation. so now i am out a ridiculous amount of money and calling the phone number is pointless ass you can understand now one work of the staff of the other end. i work for a large company spend a lot of money each each yeari on hotels and to have this happen i will never book with hotels.com ever again

    I appreciate the number of options for breakfast. Having the tea and coffee station is a good idea. But if the chocolate powder finish you have to wait until next day, at least that what I was told. I also believe water should be put into rooms daily.

    We stayed in NY on the way to milan at the Sheraton 4 points flushing and had a great room and hotel for about $70 less than the Hampton, hoped the Hampton would be good for return before onward journey, but was like $271 for a motel feel , room smelled like smokers and was older , bathroom sink so small i could not use it well. No decent restaurants near by so was not good on many levels, but got to sleep so that is a good thing but was it worth $271 no way!

    Nothing is positive when you are being scammed NEVER stay here. They are scammers, double charged my card and don't help at all. I made this reservation through Booking, where I prepaid 2 weeks before my stay. Then they charged me again for it. Then I read online and it seems to be common practice to them. Stay somewhere else

    Not a lot. The shower was hot and had reasonable pressure. Noise easily heard from other rooms. Alarms etc. Tired rooms. Scuffed furniture. Breakfast served on paper plates with plastic cutlery and plastic cups. A huge amount of single use plastics. All complimenting the plastic tasting breakfast. The area doesn't really have anything walkable to speak to. If you need a place to crash for one night sure there are worse places. But for the room cost there are better places to be had.

    We enjoyed our stay. The location was very near to the airport, which was very helpful for our trip to Buffalo and the shuttle service is great. It’s quite a trip trying to get into the city from the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good, the waffles are amazing! Our view from the window was absolutely terrible, just a dirty building site, but if you keep the curtains closed it doesn’t matter! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

    We got there at 1am, after a very long flight with our kid that was understandably soooo tired. And we are told there are no rooms left!! We of course booked the room in advance through booking and got a confirmation, so this should not have happened...The employee had nothing to say, no real explanation, other than that we were relocated to a different hotel...So we had to again put all our suitcases in the shuttle that drove us to the other hotel. This is completely unacceptable! I would not advise anyone to book a room in this hotel, as it did not only happen to us (there were others), and I'm sure it will keep happening...

    Breakfast was excellent, very nice variety. The room was clean. Pillows were plenty and so soft, they made sleeping or just resting against them even more comfortable. The only small issue was enough clean wash clothes, and toilet paper, that was quickly remeded.

    The breakfast was nice considering I was with my family. The staff did a great job considering how busy they were. The rooms are very outdated, kind of dingy, we had to ask to be moved from our original room due to the carpet being wet. There was also a large burn mark in the middle of the rug. We were on an higher floor that provided a nice view however it was hard to see out the window due to a film with built up sediment. The room always seemed muggy and sticky no matter how much we raised the ac. Onsite parking was not included which was odd, the only way we could have parked onsite was for an additional $50 which was ridiculous. I felt like we over paid for just one night in a subpar hotel I did not want to pay extra to park. We had to park on the street which was horrible.

    The breakfast was fine. We stayed in room 1214 on April 25, 2026 and it was dirty, stained sheets, and the room smelled of smoke or some other smell. The staff was not very helpful and appeared to be frustrated. I will not use Hilton Properties again. Do better!

    Ladies at check in were awesome. Pickup and van to the hotel was easy and quick. Property and room amenities could be better. No bottled water which all Hiltons and most large chains have in room. Breakfast was good and filling for the day ahead. Good for an overnight stay. Close to JFK.

    You can't beat this place for value, location and convenience - right next to JFK, so it's perfect if you're flying out the next day, the price was good for just a quick night stay before heading out on a trip, the breakfast options were excellent with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurts, and hot foods, and the fact that you can park your car there long term AND take the shuttle to JFK is a real bonus! The location wasn't the easiest to find on apple maps - when we searched for it, it kept giving us some random location that wasn't correct, so I'd suggest putting in the exact address or look up the Mariott JFK as that's right next door, but that's not this hotel's fault.

    The lobby was small and quite busy when we checked in. We were able to get a drink from the bar and used our room key to take the elevator to our room. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. We ordered Uber Eats and got our food quickly and the front desk staff alerted us to the delivery. Breakfast (and coffee) was amazing. A super great and comfortable stay.

    The staff was patient and accommodating to my children and pets and they were very forgiving when we forgot to book a pet-specific room. The breakfast was typical quality for this type of hotel, but the variety and selection was excellent. We booked the "premium snacks room" and that is pretty much a scam. No snacks in the room, they give a $30 voucher to their "pantry" of snacks that are 3x the typical price (think: $6 for a single Kraft mac and cheese cup!). We got a single voucher for three nights stay with three kids. Not worth the difference in price AT ALL.

    The hotel smiled like weed all over, my first room had no door. I moved to 2 different rooms, 2nd room was so dirty but we only had 5 hours to sleep so we just went to sleep so we don’t miss our next morning flight.

    I didn’t realize when booking the hotel that I would be in one of the non-renovated rooms. I was only staying one night so it was fine but not ideal, considering the photos of the room I saw when booking were the newly renovated rooms. The bed squeaked, the blackout curtains did not shut fully, and there was some mold in the shower. I was also in a room near the elevator, and any time it came to the floor it would ding loudly a few times, so I heard it all throughout the night. I did like the 24/7 shuttle, although I waited over 25 minutes for the shuttle at the airport.

    It was ok, I’ve stayed at other Hampton hotels this one was not as nice. They have a valet, they charged me $50 to park, when it was advertised on the site for $40. I questioned it and they were trying to explained the parking in separate from the hotel. Took them a while to agree, but it should not have been a big discussion. I wouldn’t go back.

    We had two adjoining rooms. They were clean and spacious, and well-appointed. The only downsides: the faucet in one of the rooms dripped, and the airconditioning was loud whenever it turned on. Still, thank you for your service. We would stay again if we're ever back in the area.

    The reservation was for an 18 year old.l, my daughter, going to see Billie Eilish in concert. Expedia allowed the reservation. Well it just so happens that the state of New York does not allow guests younger than 21 years of age to check in. Expedia shouldve known that and given an error or warning on the reservation page. It did not. Not the hotels fault. However, my daughter was homeless for a night, as she was denied the room. All Expedias fault.

    We ordered "dinner" from the bar (a burger and club sandwich) that was going to take 45 minutes, so they were supposed to call our room when ready. After about 1 1/2 hours we finally went down to pick it up. There it was, sitting on the side and we were told they tried to call our room and couldn't get through. Hmm. The "shuttle service" doesn't take you to your terminal but to an air train. All of this for $300 for the night. Stay away!

    Booked this hotel because we were coming in late from out of country and had early flight next AM and this hotel offered shuttle service. Served that purpose as shuttle service was easy to obtain as they send a link prior to utilize for shuttle. However room lights did not work In Front of the room or in the bathroom imagine trying to get ready in the AM. There was no phone to call front desk to let them know. After flying from overseas and coming in late just did not have the energy to walk back down to the lobby after waiting for such a long time to check in. No priority for Hilton Honors. I was considering using them again for an upcoming trip but will definitely decide another as front desk showed no concern or even offered an apology when I notified them on checkout that the lights did not work properly in the room. There was also a buzzing that went off every 15 -20 seconds that made sleep very difficult. I recorded the sound and still can’t figure out what it was. Disappointed in this property as a long time diamond hilton honors member, I wasn’t expecting Waldorf Astoria but working lights is a basic.

    This hotel is close to JFK and they have their processes down to a science, especially for travelers! The front desk staff was wonderful (both evening and morning). The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet --exactly what I needed for the one night. No frills (but I will say there was a big tv screen in there). Coffee in the lobby. I did not have breakfast only because it was too early for me to eat when I left but they did have some carry with bags with bagels and fruit I think--I saw a family getting some from the desk. The shuttle ran regularly. The hotel itself is a bit older and could use a refresh, but it was absolutely fine.

    Perfectly acceptable, multi-story hotel very close to JFK airport--my main reason for selecting this property. Hotel advertises a private shuttle to and from airport. Arriving passengers should be aware that the sole airport stop for this otherwise very convenient, free shuttle at JFK is at the Federal Circle Car rental facility. Getting to Federal Circle requires arriving passengers to take the Air Train a short hop from the arrivals terminals to the Car Rental Facility. Return trips (Hotel-->JFK) depart right outside the hotel's front doors and then also deposit travellers at Federal Circle, requiring 10-15 minutes of additional travel via Air Train again to one's departure terminal. Depending on time of day and traffic, this can be a time-consuming process. Be Aware.

    The hotel staff were very accommodating. That said the property is in bad shape. Whole hotel smelled like mildew; they made a decision (bad) not to allow any ventilation from the outside windows; in our case the broken bathroom exhaust fan steamed up our entire room like a sauna. We constantly used febreze to cut the mildew smell. The bathroom temperature was uncontrolled; I scalded myself when the lever was toward hot. No temperature should be that hot- ever. Broken vanity light in bafhroom and created cord to room phone so calls were garbled. Hotel staff very attentive but they go to get a handle on the smell and oppressive mildew scent.

    This was a perfect spot for an overnight layover. Breakfast and a free shuttle to the airport are all included. Friendly service upon check in. The room was clean and comfortable. Thank you Hampton Inn team!

    Paid prior to arrival. Arrived after a long day of travel and another long day ahead and was told they were fully booked, that I shouldn’t book with a third party, and to take my issue up with Expedia. Horrible experience! Left stranded without a room at midnight with an early flight the next morning. Another guest asked to change their room while I was there and desk agent assisted them. When I questioned how there was another room available for that guest to change rooms, she laughed and ignored me.

    The airport shuttle is misleading because it only takes you to Jamaica which you must pay $8 to airtrain from and its cheaper to uber if you have more than 1 person. Did not feel the safest but ammenities were fine

    However for the high end price of this one night stay and the Hilton name I expected the place to be a lot nicer. Although the beds were very comfortable — The carpets were old, the main floor and breakfast area was not that clean, much of it was old and drab and the breakfast options were not that varied or appealing. I would definitely want to be around the staff but the Hilton name on this hotel does not match the conditions of the hotel.
