The hotel has a mixed reputation with guests appreciating the affordable price and some finding the staff and fellow residents welcoming. However, there are significant concerns about cleanliness, safety, and comfort, with multiple guests reporting feeling uncomfortable and unsafe during their stay.

It truly is in the perfect spot! Staff was friendly and helpful. Walking distance was ideal to the park, Times Square, 6th avenue, & Columbus circle.
- 4/5
The room was nice and had everything I needed. The AC didn’t get as cool as I liked, but it was cool enough for most people I’m sure. I just like to sleep in a cooler room. The elevator system was nice and fast. Breakfast area was busy and crowded but plenty of hot food and a great variety to choose from. Excellent location and walkable to everything I came for. I would stay here again.

It was good overall, but 5 stars to Ynocencia at the restaurant, her joy is contagious

The hotel did not provide daily cleaning. The rooms are particularly smaller and unusually expensive than what I expected in US’s hotel rooms comparing to while I visited Tokyo or Kyoto in Japan where the rooms are small but with reasonable prices.
- 3/5
Room was hot the entire stay and was never offered to moved rooms instead was just brought a box fan.

Breakfast was amazing. Location was perfect

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, a good breakfast, an excellent location, and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Everything was perfect. I had a wonderful stay!

Hotel was under construction at the time of our stay. Very difficult to move in the lobby area. The room we stayed in was very uncomfortable. The air did not flow well through the room. The staff told us we could go to the top of the building for a sky view but when got up there. We were asked if we had reservations and we told them no. They seated us anyway. Then a few minutes later we were escorted out because we didn’t order anything. The manager told us that that area was for paying customers only. In my opinion I am a paying customers. I paid to stay there so I should be able to stay if I wanted too. I was very disappointed in our stay.
- 4/5
Room was clean but VERY tiny! No where to store luggage even. Breakfast was delicious. Elevator took awhile in the mornings. Construction was going on in the lobby but did not disturb our room. Nice bathroom. Just TINY room. Would have been better if bed was a little higher and open underneath for luggage storage. Hotel was very nice about storing our luggage when we arrived early.

The showers needed more caulking and floors needed mopping alot of random black hair strands all over that I had to pick up and wipe wit wet wipes floor was filthy.
- 4/5
Room was clean, adequate and quiet. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was average and as expected, but ample food was provided at a very busy time and it was provided right up until closing time, which is rare and was appreciated by all guests. There seemed to be enough seating even when it was very busy, as there is a lower level with additional seating — something I didn’t know at the time. Staff cleared tables efficiently and were pleasant and helpful. All in all, a good stay.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Excellent location and very comfortable beds but the rooms are very small and the wait for an elevator can be lengthy due to crowded elevators and no space for you!
- 2/5
Air conditioner came on and off every minute. Terribly loud. Unable to get a good nights sleep. Staff was very pleasant and helpful
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable. We expected a smaller room because it’s NYC but still had plenty of space to store 2 suitcases worth of clothing and items. The front of the hotel is also a pickup/dropoff spot if you need to Uber shuttle to/from the airport. We would stay here again.
- 3/5
Of the 5 elevators the system would funnel 20 people to the same elevator. Could take up to 20-30 min just to get to your floor.
- 5/5
Everythins was fine with the room, but I did not like thath they gave us a room next to other room for a family, to enter you went throgh a very small space closed with a door and in case of emergency will cause a lot of problems for evacuation. The entrance to the hotel is under renovation and makes the entrance look dirty. the person who checked in did not make the slightest effort to get someone to assit me in Spanish or use technology to explain something. I like breakfast!
- 4/5
The front desk personnel were very helpful even going to the elevators to explain how tree system works. The breakfast was good and changed everyday. The room was nice but small. The hotel was less than half a block from Time Square and walking distance to the theaters.
- 5/5
There was a lot of remodeling / construction, however, the hotel was fairly easy to navigate, it was clean.
- 5/5

Close to almost everything!! Shopping, food, subway.. would recommend and stay again in the future.
- 3/5
Small rooms and lots of construction. Crowded breakfast. Only good thing is the location
- 2/5
Although the room was clean, it was too small. Especially the bathroom. Not enough room to put your toiletries and to be able to turn around.
- 4.5/5
The location was great, the room was clean and laid out well, the staff was helpful, and the downstairs sundry shop was well-stocked and check-out was easy. We stayed with my 1yr old and it was a great, quiet, family-friendly stay. The elevator situation is not ideal - lines get very long because once you scan your room key and select your floor, it tells you which elevator to use. It's not the worst in the world, it's just a bit inconvenient, but is a nice security feature. The price was great for the neighborhood, but still expensive.
- 5/5
Very clean and newly renovated. Super convenient location. Easy walk to Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza and more. Coffee maker in room which is a luxury in NYC. Would stay again.

Very small space and very limited room cleaning services. AC barely worked. Shower pressure was awful. Not happy with our stay at all. Definitely was not worth the money.

Check in and check out were quick and easy! Room was clean and comfortable! We missed breakfast because we had to leave before six am for a show. The hotel was convenient to so many places so walking was not a problem! We will stay here again!!!

Stephanie at the front was amazing best hotel check in experience ever and I travel a lot ! The sliding bathroom door didn’t close but not a big deal since I was by myself VERY GOOD BREAKFAST offered when u stay at no cost. I will stay here again
- 2/5
The rooms were clean but very small. The room double entry doors were horrible and didn’t seem safe especially for a female our neighbor felt the same way. There was no ice machines on the lower floors so we had to go to the front desk most of the time using the stairs multiple times a day and ask someone to get it for us. We complained about our room being hot and the thermostat being locked at 70 degrees though it rarely maintained the set point even with the box fan we were given. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and kind. The elevators were a nightmare and almost impossible to use. We resorted to the stairs during busy times. The bar was amazing and the staff there were fantastic.

Hotel was under construction and no fitness center was available. Otherwise, extremely well located. The room was small but comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I would stay there again.

The hotel was under construction when we went in June 2026. The elevators had some weird system where you swiped your room key on a monitor and it would then tell you which elevator to get on. It took a while for the elevators to arrive and take you up to your room but it took way longer to get back down to the lobby. I also had some brown flakes (what they were, I don’t know) get blown through the vents and onto the bed. That could have been caused by the construction though. The staff was great and it was a good location.
- 5/5
I highly recommend the Hampton Inn New York Times Square. Overall, the service was excellent. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Ms. Ynocencia, Mr. Santafe, Mr. Edison, and the entire breakfast staff. Their customer service was outstanding and highly professional. Thank you again for a wonderful and pleasant stay.
- 0.5/5
The location was excellent and very convenient for visiting Times Square and other attractions in New York City. We stayed from May 30 to June 2 as a group of three. Unfortunately, our experience with the front desk staff was disappointing, as several employees were not friendly and were not very helpful when we requested assistance. Our room was not cleaned during most of our stay and was only serviced after we specifically asked about it on our departure day. In addition, we requested a business trip confirmation/invoice for our institution, but the hotel staff were unwilling to provide the necessary documentation.

Breakfast was free and chaotic, but included eggs, sausage, roasted potatoes, fresh fruit (bananas, apples, oranges) toast, bread, and bagels with jam and butter, cereal, and waffles. Overall an excellent stay in the heart of everything; didn't even require taking the train. Neighborhood was always busy and occasionaly had a doorman at the front, so it felt safe even when i was coming in solo. They're currently renovating the property and it's already nice, so i imagine they'll jack up prices once that's done, so enjoy this location and comfort while it's still around $500 for 2 nights.
- 5/5
The property was being upgraded so the construction was a little annoying. However, the room was quiet, the beds were so comfortable. They technology for using the elevators made the trips easier and the wait time minimal. The included breakfasts were yummy and started our days in such a great way. I highly recommend this location. We were able to walk easily to all we wanted to do! Our Broadway shows were within a couple of blocks. Subway was right there to connect with all other Burroughs. My granddaughter and I loved every minute!
- 3/5
The new digital elevators were continuously problematic. Otherwise a fine stay. Although, with noting, there are smaller boutique hotels in the area with slightly more sqft for comparable price. Breakfast was free and as expected.

This property was good because it’s in the heart of Manhattan and we were in NYC for 30 hours. Perfect for your one night pit stop. I wouldn’t recommend it for over two nights. Some rooms like ours are part of a 2-door entry to get to your room. Tight corners make maneuvering luggage a pain.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. The building had some construction going on and the staff helped to keep things moving efficiently.
- 2/5
I picked this place bc it’s in the Times Square, walking distance to theaters. But I don’t recommend this place bc they lie about their rooms. I reserved “Water View Room” paid more money. Our room was very small that there’s no space for keeping our suitcases, so we kept them on our beds! There’s no view! “Water View Room”?! There’s no water view! Not even a peekaboo of water view! There was a tall building right front of our window. So I called the front and asked for a room with “Water View” cuz I paid for it. There is No water view room. They don’t have water view rooms even they advertise “Water View Room” and “Landmark View Room” those are bulls..t! Their building is surrounded by tall buildings and there’s No view rooms. Nothing but tall buildings right front of you. Only their rooftop bar got views. Of course you have to pay $17 for a glass of wine. Breakfast room get packed. Hard to find a table. It opens 6am, and they recommend you to be there by 7am, and we got there 7am but it was already packed. Food was a OK. They water down the Orange juice! I have never been to a hotel that dilutes OJ. I didn’t eat their breakfast from 2nd day. And their elevators are very inconvenient that you have to use your room key to get to your floor, and if your companions are on the different floors, you cannot go there directly from your floor. You have to go to lobby first and then go up to the floor you want. Very complicated. Not recommended. Go somewhere else.

Location We stayed at this hotel for one night during our family trip to New York. We specifically chose this location so we could enjoy Times Square on the evening of our arrival and spend the following day exploring the city before continuing our trip. We understood that staying in the heart of Manhattan would mean some street noise. That was not the problem. The problem was the air conditioning unit in our room. Every time the AC turned on, it produced an extremely loud roaring and rattling noise. Then, several minutes after it shut off, another very loud sound would follow, similar to an engine repeatedly trying and failing to start. This cycle repeated approximately every 15 minutes throughout the entire night. Sleeping was virtually impossible. I wear an Oura Ring, and the next morning it reported only about two hours of sleep and flagged my recovery with a major warning sign. More importantly, we didn’t need a device to tell us how exhausted we were—we all felt terrible. Our plans for the next day were completely ruined. Instead of sightseeing in New York as planned, both the adults and the children were exhausted. The kids were irritable and emotional from lack of sleep, and we simply did not have the energy to enjoy the city. The situation became so bad that we left early and checked into our next hotel ahead of schedule, paying extra for an early check-in just so our family could rest and recover. A hotel room does not need to be luxurious, but it must allow guests to sleep. This room failed at the most basic function of a hotel. The location may be great, but a convenient address cannot compensate for a night without sleep. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone who values a good night’s rest.

Centrally located with easy access to Times Square. The king room was incredibly small (there was only about 30" between the side of the bed and the walls; had the room been bigger, I would have given this 5 stars!). Limited storage. Felt more like a cruise ship cabin than a hotel room. Perfect for 1, tight for 2. Despite its tiny size, the bedding was comfortable, room was clean and it was easy getting to Broadway shows, Times Square, restaurants, subways and cabs.

Everything is good except that the noise of the air conditioner is very loud.

The elevator system was designed to incur maximum frustration to the guest. We often had to wait for 15 to 20 minutes and 5 or six elevators to go down since they were always packed when the doors opened on our floor. On the day we were checking out it was even worse since we could fit in some times, it was impossible with our luggage, although we did eventually succeed (> 30 minutes). If you are rushing to catch a plane, be sure that you will miss it. The "free" breakfast was more like a free-for-all. Crazy crowded and not enough seating. Much of the food stations had run out by 9:30 so we had almost no choice. I would highly recommend avoiding this location.

I come to NYC regularly. I expect a small room. What I do not expect is something as small as a large closet where I have to stand in a corner to let my spouse go around to the other side of the bed. There was no dresser, no closet. There was room to hang about five things. The temperature in the room never got below 72, which was far too warm, and it was humid in there. The elevator system is terrible. The average wait to get downstairs was 20 minutes. One time it was an hour after waiting, giving up and coming back several times. We finally had to call for a staff member to bring an elevator to our floor so we could get down. The breakfast was terrible and overly crowded. There was never anywhere to sit. You had to eat standing up while waiting for someone to abandon their table. One morning a staff member was screaming and signing about birthdays… all before coffee, which was very unpleasant. The only good thing about this place is the location.

The room was never cleaned during our 3 night stay. The elevators get very cramped and take a long time to come in the mornings. The room was small, but good location. Breakfast is a hit or miss, but packed if you go around 9. The bed sheets had multiple blood stains.
- 3/5
The best had a great location near Times Square, it was under construction so the lobby was a bit hectic. They hold your luggage if you arrive before check-in which is great when you want to view the city! The elevators can take time to arrive to your floor if you are trying to go down to the lobby. The rooms are very clean and well managed, a good first stay!

Breakfast and elevators were so chaotic due to how unorganized it is. Good choice in breakfast, but the seating is horrible 7-10am just people standing trying to find somewhere to sit and enjoy. Elevators are terrible, the lobby room gets packed and they need to fix the system. Personally, the room we have was constructed wrongly, you’re able to see small construction problems. Bathroom door painting coming off. Lastly, not enough communication upon arrival compared to other hotels i’ve been in.

The location was perfect as it was just steps away from all the action in Times Square. The breakfast had a good selection and if you get there early in the morning there weren't many people, avoid going later as it tends to get extremely busy and the lifts can take a while. The room was good, with two big comfy double beds and the bathroom was spotless and modern. On our last day the hotel concierge kept our suitcases free of charge to allow us another few hours exploring before we had to leave. There were some renovations going on when we stayed which impacted the impression of the lobby area, There were a selection of drinks and snacks in the shop in the lobby area but they are expensive!

Interrupted every night we were there hearing the air handler coming on and off.. It was also difficult to maintain a comfortable temperature. We reported the issue to the front desk to no avail. Very disappointed in the lack of support. Room 2403.
- 3/5
There were plenty of towels, hot water and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly at the front desk and breakfast area. We’ve stayed at this location at least 4 times and this was the smallest room we’ve stayed in. Some of our other concerns were the hair conditioner bottle was empty, the AC was extremely noisy which has never happened before. The refrigerator wouldn’t stay on as it had some sort of energy efficient control. In order to get to our room we had to open 2 doors. One was unlocked and the other was locked . The space between the doors was very small making it difficult to get our luggage in the locked door. It was very strange and hope we don’t have to stay in that type of room again.

We spent 4 days at this hotel. The location is great for attending Broadway plays, near Rockefeller Center, and the museum of modern art. The location is a few blocks from Times Square so expect busy streets and sidewalks. The room we stayed in was small (maybe 3 feet from the end of the king sized bed to the opposite wall. No closet, just a valet to hang clothes. Despite the tight quarters, we found the room to be comfortable, clean, and in good condition. The window does an excellent job of shutting out street sounds when closed. A minor annoyance was the loud fan noise when the heating/cooling was running. I didn't see a fan speed adjustment. The complimentary breakfast had plenty of food choices and the staff did a great job of dealing with the large breakfast crowd. The entire hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar is a nice setting to have a drink and a light snack. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again to attend Broadway shows.

Overall had a great stay here the free breakfast is a plus and it was busy but we were always able to find a spot to eat and didn’t have to wait for food to be made. The only downfall is the elevators sometimes it took a while waiting for it to come (stayed on 34th floor). Unfortunately when the elevator did come as it continued picking up guests on the floors the elevators got over packed and there was no room but we still stopped at every floor until the lobby with a full elevator. For example if the elevator got full at the 25th floor the elevator would still stop at the floors below ex: 20, 17, 16, 15, 14 and so on but no one on those floors could get on because it was full. Also most guest taking the elevator down were taking it to the lobby so no one was getting off or on at the floors it stopped at. It’s 2026 you would think there would be technology to indicate that the elevator was full so it didn’t continue stopping. It took us about 8min one time to get off the elevator due to waiting and stopping at multiple floors with a full elevator. Other than that the hotel was clean and a great location and the staff have great attitudes.

Three wonderful nights in the heart of Time Square. I had a excellent experience in the hotel, good breakfast and bed was good to rest after a tired day. I made for first time the Topview red bus and was a good idea for the different point stop.
- 4/5
The main area we think the hotel should improve is the elevator system. Although the automatic system assigns guests to specific elevators, it does not really save time during rush hours. In fact, there were times when we had to take the stairs because the elevator took nearly 20 minutes to arrive, and by the time it reached our floor, it was already completely full. In addition, from outside the elevator it is difficult to tell which floor the elevator is currently on, so it is hard to decide whether it is better to continue waiting or just take the stairs instead. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciate the hotel’s service and facilities, but improving the elevator experience would make a big difference for guests during busy hours.

Very central hotel which is only a few blocks from the main time square subway station. Rooms are lovely inside and come with a microwave, fridge and coffee machine. Breakfast served is a cooked buffet one with loads of choice, the sausages are really good! Try the rooftop bar as well, beautiful views of the city from there. Worth taking a look. Overall, fantastic stay, staff were impeccable and would definitely stay again 😊

Great location, friendly staff, and a very clean room. We were also able to check in more than an hour before the official check-in time, which was a great bonus. The breakfast was very good, with multiple choices available. Highly recommended! The hotel has several elevators, but after breakfast we had to wait around 15 minutes to get back to our floor.

The room was very clean. The staff was extremely helpful. My first morning I asked for directions to the nearest subway. I was given excellent directions. The day I was leaving, I left my bags with the Bellman and he was polite and made me feel comfortable leaving them with him. I ate breakfast each AM. It was a MADHOUSE of people and kids. It was a little overwhelming. The room, was SMALL. I mean tiny. For the price I would have liked a bigger room, but they do list the sq. footage in the description, so it was my bad for not realizing it was going to be a SMALL room. It is in a fantastic location, so the SMALL room wasn't my main focus.

Unacceptable Noise & Unhelpful Staff: For 3 nights, there was loud, repeated banging of doors on our floor that lasted until the early hours of the morning. Staff did not answer phones and multiple requests were necessary for any type of assistance - frequently requiring going down to the front desk. Elevator Nightmare: The elevator situation here is terrible. We routinely had to wait 20 minutes just to catch an elevator that had room. To make matters worse, there were no accessible stair options to bypass the wait, essentially trapping guests on their floors during peak hours - breakfast runs concurrently with checkout so you can imagine what every morning was like just trying to get out. Cramped Rooms: While I understand NYC hotel rooms can be compact, this room was incredibly tiny with very little storage. The bathroom door also had visible, unsightly water damage, making the entire space feel neglected and run-down. Subpar Beds & Breakfast: Two of the main reasons I choose Hampton Inn are the dependable, comfortable beds and the quality complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, this location failed at both. Between the constant street and hallway noise, the terrible elevator logistics, and the lack of basic hospitality, this stay was frustrating from start to finish.

How do I begin? hotel under construction never told, less than friendly staff, horrible breakfast(over cooked, cold, rushed to eat and shut down 15 early) claustrophobic room, shower no pressure, bathroom wall paper coming off,had to leave windows open because thermostat would not cool room below 71 degrees, cleaning staff knocking on door at 10:05am asking us if they could start to clean the room when check out was 11am, horrible elevators service ( waiting 5-10 minutes each time to enter elevator with 15 people already on elevator) This is just the beginning. Never ever again booking a stay at a Hampton inn!!!!

Our objection had to do with the check-inn process. We arrived at 3:50 for a scheduled 4:00 PM check-in and were told we had to wait. We returned 45 minutes later and were informed there was no room available which matched the room we had reserved via Expedia. We ended up in a tiny room with (literally) barely space to turn around, and instead of a City view we had a back wall view.
- 5/5
Location was great! Special shout out to Tyrek (not sure if i spelled it correctly) he was extremely helpful and always smiling ? The pizza place across the street was great! The waffles were cold

During the day the hotel lobby and public areas were filled with construction, which was inconvenient and unsightly, but not impossible. All staff, including the construction workers, were very helpful, friendly, and courteous. My only BIG complaint: the downstairs public bathroom. It smelled, was hot, and the trash was overflowing. You did not want to breathe while you were in it.

In February were remodeling the lobby. Breakfast is busy, but good food. Excellent location for exploring Times Square.

AC in the room didn’t not work well. Kept the room barely cool and it was in the 90’s during my visit so not pleasant at all. There is construction in the building. Elevators were slow. Breakfast was ok. Good location.

Under interior construction on lobby floor which was a little inconvenient and loud at times. Elevator system was terribly slow during peak check-in hours. Excellent hotel, excellent free breakfast, clean modern rooms. Will definitely stay again once construction is complete.
- 4/5
Hotel was great. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Be advised hotel lobby is under construction.
- 4/5
Pros: Fast check in, friendly staff, comfortable bed, great location.
- 5/5
For the amount of people that come down to take advantage of the breakfast the staff does an amazing job preparing quality food and keeping the dining area clean and fresh.

The hotel was located near the Broadway shows we were seeing and convenient to many activities. The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The heat/air unit in the room was extremely load. And at times, it was difficult to catch an elevator. We had to run down 15 flights a few times as the elevator never came.

the elevators are a disaster. Sometimes you have to wait 15 minutes for one. The breakfast is ample, but is not good food.
- 5/5
The property was doing renovations during my stay. However, everyone was very professional and helpful. Great location. The rooms have a microwave and mini refrigerator which is nice. I would stay there again. They serve a great breakfast every morning with staff there ready to assist if needed.

I had a lovely stay. Very close to all the action.
- 4/5
The room was very small for 2 people.
- 5/5
The breakfast was good. It’s tricky having breakfast served on 2 different floors.
- 4/5
Rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also loved the breakfasts that were included with the stay. As one that appreciates hot tea in the morning, though, there were no options. Also, we were there during construction, so the lobby and the small door in and out of the property were a bit chaotic.
- 5/5
Everything was perfect! The service was exceptional. My only concern is regarding the waitress on the rooftop—the service there wasn't the best; there was very little attentiveness and poor service. Everything else was very good, including the breakfast.
- 3/5
The staff wasn't willing to accommodate us. Property is just okay. Won't stay there again
- 4/5
The room I was in was Clean but small breakfast was good. I will definitely suggest it to other's. However I visited family in another double room and one of the beds the mattress was absolutely appalling.it was not good for anyone to be sleeping on as it had a very large sink in it that was visible before you sat on it.
- 5/5
Stay was great!! Enjoyed it so much close to everything
- 4/5
The room was clean, the breakfast was amazing. Our air condition wasn't working the best, and our shower door would not stay closed. But those were minor details. All in all it was a nice stay.
- 5/5
This was the perfect choice for a very short visit to NYC. The hotel is under a bit of construction, but it was still very clean. The staff was exceptional. Every person we dealt with was kind, helpful, and professional. The location is great for walking anywhere near Times Square and the Theater District. The shuttle service to the airport, which was recommended by the bell staff, was outstanding. It was such a huge convenience. Our room was comfortable and very very clean. I would definitely stay there again.
- 4/5

- 5/5
I love the Hampton Inns, I have stayed in numerous I particularly like this one because of the roof top bar!
- 5/5
Everything was nice we enjoyed our stay
- 2/5
The elevator situation was so inconvenient. They kept glitching and sending everyone to the wrong floors, and one of the elevators didn't work the whole time! Also did not tell us that there was construction occurring on the property, definitely overpriced for what it was, they didn't even give us water. Our room also was not properly cleaned, we found someone's glasses in our room. Do not stay here!!!
- 1/5
Very poor
- 1/5
We were there for 5 days. We’re told they’d clean every other day. They never cleaned our room. I paid extra for CITY VIEW!!! Our view was of another building. No city view!!! They were under construction that wasn’t told to us before hand.
- 5/5
The location was excellent. The property was undergoing some construction. The complimentary breakfast was great every morning, it just is very busy with guests. Room cleaned every other day, did an amazing job cleaning.

The room were very clean, and the free breakfast was great. The room was small and felt crowded without enough space to put your luggage. I didn't like the elevator situation when it was crowded. You had to provide your floor number, and it automatically assigned you to an elevator. Upon our arrival, there was a long wait and then we went past our floor and then stopped at several other floors on the way back down without anyone getting on or off. It seems inefficient but it worked better when there were less people.

The bar and location were great Staff were busy and not overly helpful
- 3.5/5
Good location Breakfast is just a big bun fight with nowhere to sit. If you are on the lower floors you have no chance of getting a lift at busy times as they are all full from the upper floors.
- 5/5
This is an affordable hotel in the middle of it all. You can walk to all the shows. A trek to Dumbo is about 30 min by train. You can walk (1 mi or so—20 min at my pace) to both bus terminals. The rooms were clean. I didn’t hear noise or construction on the 26th floor. The only downside was the lobby bathroom was closed when my son tried to use it upon check out. It seems like no one was actively cleaning/repairing (whatever they claimed at the time) it at the time while we waited. We didn’t eat the breakfast bc we’re in NYC (bagels, duh!). Lots of ppl were milling about the dining area though. Go early if you don’t want chaos.
- 5/5
Excellent customer service. Great Breakfast
- 5/5
The Breakfast menu was fresh. The room was very clean and the staff was friendly.
- 5/5
This hotel is great for the location , amenities, staff, cleanliness . The breakfast was okay.
- 3/5
The room was small for a 4 day stay... but that's probably standard in the Times Square area. The sink was broken when we first checked in but they were quick to resolve. Construction was going on at the time in the lobby. Kind of hard to move around but will look beautiful when done. Loved the proximity to things and shows. However, the elevators were the worst. It took forever to get one to go down. Sometimes 10 mins.
- 3/5
Breakfast was literally not edible. They had leather disks they called sausage that were not edible. They had hashbrowns that were freezer burned and not edible. Never served bacon or other options. It was horrible.
- 2/5
Rooms are very small and hot. Lobby was small and packed full of people at all times. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Binta was the best in accommodating me and my family. She was able to help me with an early check in Friday afternoon so we can rest before our dinner reservations and seeing a Broadway play for my wife’s birthday as well as extending my check out to help us walk around and shop in NYC Saturday morning. I called earlier in the week and she gave me her name and when I called back and asked for her she was always available and accessible. I would recommend everyone to visit and stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites just for the excellent customer experience and service.

- 4/5
Clean rooms, excellent location for theater. Rooms are extremely small. Staff is very helpful. Free breakfast offered. Renovations going on so no available lobby at this time and a little chaotic. Would recommend for 1 or 2 people in a room. Very little space.
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, and clean rooms
- 4/5
Service and Staff generally ok but my biggest concern were the extremely small rooms.
- 4/5
They could also use more sitting area in the lobby area. Everything is was great.
- 4/5
Good location and plenty of restaurants and quick service nearby.
- 4/5
Great location! Strongly recommend to stay here especially for first time visitors. My only negative feedback is the size of the sink, no space for your personal items such as toothbrush and facial care products to keep, it’s manageable though.
- 4/5
Great location and clean. Free breakfast was also great! Rooms are compact and lobby is non existent. Sometimes there is a wait for elevators, but overall a very good experience.
- 3/5
Hello, I would like to say that the hotel was not bad but the rooms are very very small. Also, the elevator is very bad, since you have to wait 20 minutes. Lastly, there is not water in the rooms, I was thirsty all day, and the did not had a lobby.

Great location! The staff was not friendly and make sure you verify the terms of valet upon checking in. I was told I could get my car, drive my daughter to her conference and come back and they would park my car. When I returned they said I would be charged the valet charge a second time because I was remarking my car. When I addressed the staff member who gave me the initial directive, the manager disregarded me.
- 5/5
Good breakfast. Great staff.
- 3/5
Good location. I didn't realize they were doing construction to the hotel when I booked, maybe that is on me. The reason I wouldn't stay again is the rooms are tiny. I've stayed at other places in NYC including the Hampton that's is on about 42nd and that was better.
- 2/5
I paid extra for a room with a view. The room I is faced the back of another building and I was told anything above the twentieth floor is considered a view of the city. This is clearly false advertisement and they did not offer me a refund or any other accommodation when I complained. The people at the front desk were not friendly or helpful. The rooms were small with little ventilation and the breakfast was not good. The paint on the bathroom door was peeling off like there had been water damage, the floor was gritty and the desk was not wiped down well. The highlight was the housekeeping staff who were always friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast was great, staff were very very kind, and the location was great if you are wanting to be in walking distance.
- 4/5
Would have given 5 stars but for the A/C in the room. The temperature was too hot. I’d hate to stay there in the summer months. If they fixed that to be colder this hotel would be perfect. Didn’t have any of the problems listed in some of the reviews but agree the a/c unit needs some serious work. The size of the rooms is what you should expect in NYC and the breakfast bar was a standard hot breakfast and glad they informed about the best time to go to breakfast. Go early for less crowds-again expect crowds and not a lot of space because it’s NYC !! Take it all in, you’re in New York City !
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel reasonably priced and the breakfast buffet was served hot, fresh and pretty good. I just didn’t realize the room was soooo small. I felt like I was in a closet.

The room was tight and way too warm the thermostat was set at between 68-72 degrees Fereinheit period. I would return to this hotel: great location, breakfast, and rooftop lounge all pluses. Times Square is literally right there walking distance in a few minutes. Overall exp. was good! Thank you!

- 4/5
Very good location. Currently under construction, so some walled off areas. The hotel held our luggage for us on our early arrival and late departure, and the staff was very courteous and efficient. The included breakfast is adequate. There is a very nice rooftop bar.
- 4/5
Breakfast wasn’t good.
- 5/5
Very clean room and complementary breakfast was better and expected!
- 4/5
Room good - not that small for midtown. Comfortable bed. Bathroom large enough. Breakfast area is big but not big enough for how many guests use it. We could never get a seat. Breakfast quality was fine. Elevators were fine outside of peak times (am). Rooftop bar was very nice and not crowded.
- 5/5
The breakfast was great. Full of different options and choices.
- 1/5
My car got parked in the valet brand new car by the way came back with a scratch paint off and they said they were going to take care of after I got home from New York they said sorry wasn’t there fault
- 2/5
The elevators took very long to arrive. The air conditioner in the room was very loud
- 5/5
The location was great, nice clean hotel wish it had a restaurant.
- 3.5/5
There was so much construction! There wasn't much of a lobby which I didn't expect based on the pictures and I wasn't aware the gym was under construction! I paid extra for a city view and we had a sliver of view. The other thing is because of the snow we couldn't go on the patio at the roof top bar and the music inside was too loud so we left. .
- 5/5
Great Location, The staff was helpful, nice, and freindl. The Breakfast was great.
- 4/5
But, breakfast is free and pretty tasty, staff is extremely helpful and kind, the rooms are cleaned well. For its location, it’s still a pretty good deal since you’re walking distance to everything.
- 3/5
Hotel rooms are hot the a/c never kicked in for us and we woke up sweating each night of our stay despite altering the thermostat. This made us uncomfortable. Hotel is also in a great location.
- 4/5
Almost all perfect, but!, The AC was really loud, the sink was really hard to make the water leaves and the lobby was uner contruction.
- 5/5
The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating. The hotel itself was very clean and location was perfect.
- 5/5
Joseph was excellent!!
- 5/5

- 3/5

- 3/5
Location is great, modern, clean ...However hotel feels totally overcrowded and impersonal... small rooms, chaotic lifts, crowded and limited breakfast..healthy foods missing or limited... room service only once in 4 night stay...coffee for two when 3 guests etc. Would look elsewhere next stop.
- 5/5
The room was amazing and clean I loved it and the food was so delicious. I also love how sweet they are because we forgot pictures and they were kind enough to send them to my house.
- 5/5
Everything was good only the construction!
- 4/5
This hotel has the worst elevator system I have ever experienced. There is normally a group trying to get an elevator on the first floor. At busy times you can wait up to ten minutes to get an elevator to take you down. This elevator system is a unique assigned car system that was over thought, very inefficient, and is hard on patrons.
- 5/5
Excellent location to walk to many broadway shows. Good variety of items for breakfast. Good security for elevator and front entrance. Felt safe here. Great stay!
- 5/5
Clean room (small) but it’s New York…. Right on time square maybe like a 2 min walk. Staff was nice. Breakfast was good enough. I would recommend.
- 5/5
Staff was great !!
- 3/5
However: A) Way too little elevators for the amount of people staying at the hotel so long waits for same. B) Breakfast is chaotic as not enough tables for the guests to sit and eat.
- 3/5
There is no gym, not really any amenities except free breakfast which is mediocre. Room wasn’t very clean. Found a contact lens on the bathroom floor. Def don’t recommend this place. Very mid.
- 4.5/5
Convenience everything was in walking distance There was no gym I was not a fan of not having a gym on the facilities anywhere
- 2/5
The rooms
- 3/5
Perfect location, Big Bus pick up spot and Times Square is right around the corner. There is a small convenience store across the street. There was a microwave and small fridge in the room. There was a huge construction going on and the hotel did not notify us. They use the common area next to the lobby for luggage storage so there are only 2 small tables for all the people to sot around. The rooms are extremely small, we had a double queen room booked for 4 of us and we could barely got around our luggage so I wouldn’t recommend. The elevators are so packed people were carrying luggage down the stairs.
- 5/5
Very clean and organize
- 5/5
Great location and great hotel
- 5/5
Close to attractions and affordable! Great breakfast!
- 1.5/5
I hated the room, too small, the bathroom was terrible, shower was too bad, unbelievable. I never thought my bathroom were better than in a hotel in Manhattan.
- 5/5
All the staff we dealt with were professional and friendly. Too many guests at the breakfast bar at the same time made it difficult to find a table for three.
- 4.5/5
It looked like the place was under renovation, so there was noticeable noise and temporary walls set up in the lobby.
- 3.5/5
The room was very small and extremely tight spaced. You couldn't even pull out the chair from the desk to sit in it.
- 3/5
The breakfast was very good. Enjoyed the hot freshness and variety. However; there could be an additional waffle maker in the main dining in oppose to having to go downstairs to the overflow. Better accommodations for getting up and down to the room. We had a bad experience on getting down a couple of days which was very unpleasant, This in term caused missed uber rides and just created a not so good celebration for the honoree.
- 3/5
Convenient. Great location. Quiet. Affordable. Felt safe. Some of the desk help was great..some not so great. Beds comfortable. Water pressure fine. Rooms were poorly designed (couldn't pull the chair out from the desk without it bumping into bed...why no closet?). My niece found a used tube of KY jelly under the bed --so that lead us to worry about how efficient the cleaning staff was overall. Also a cleaning person walked into her room without knocking and she wasn't dressed! I'm sure it was an accident/mistake, but a knock would have kept this from happening.
- 4/5
Rooms quite small
- 5/5
everything!
- 3/5
GREAT LOCATION!! Overall good experience. Loved you could drop bags and leave them there till room was ready. Breakfast was ridiculously packed. The a/c in the room didn't go below 70 degrees and wasn't pleasant at all. Felt more like 75. Needs maintenance in the rooms.
- 5/5
I had a fantastic stayand would highly recommend it. The location is unbeatable. it’s right in the heart of everything, with easy access to major attractions, restaurants, and transport links. You can step outside and be exactly where you need to be within minutes, which made the whole trip so much more enjoyable. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained. Everything felt modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The room was very well laid out, making great use of the space, which is exactly what you expect from a New York hotel — it felt comfortable and never cramped. Breakfast was good. There was a good effort to introduce variety each day rather than serving the same options repeatedly, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that it can get quite busy during peak times, and getting a lift down in the morning can be vey difficult, but this is a minor issue in what was otherwise a very positive experience. I would definitely stay here again. lifts- but honestly it was just during breakfast peak periods
- 2.5/5
The proximity to Times Square was great and the staff was really nice The elevators were terrible! We had to use the stairs to go down every time because you could never get one to stop on our floor that wasn’t already packed. A jack hammer went on for HOURS on Thursday and Friday. Room was tiny and the only view out of the window was a wall.
- 2/5
Location No one cleaned the room or took trash out. Asked for extra towels, took 40 minutes to receive. Elevators were a nightmare.
- 4/5
This hotel is a true bang for your buck especially not even a block away from 7th Ave and 2 blocks away from the center of Times Square! Subways are pretty close to it and have food places around for late night quick pick up. The room was super clean and modern! It was a little small but that’s expected for manhattan. The only downside was I wish there were more variety for hot breakfast but other then that they have the basics eggs, a protein (bacon, sausage) and potatoes, and the usual continental with waffles. They really didn’t answer the phone when I needed fresh towels but did answer super fast in thier App! Over all 9/10!! Would def return and recommend
- 4/5
Perfect location. Well priced. Room was pretty small but clean. Breakfast was good. The new elevator system was a plus, but lobby area really crowded around it as people tried to figure out how to use it. Construction for new elevator shaft was loud but stopped by 5 PM.
- 4/5
All was great! I wish that i knew how to set the thermostat though because it was stuffy in there most of our stay. Otherwise great stay! ❤️
- 3/5
The room is very cramped as well. Less space than some cruise cabins. I usuaully go through and clean with Lysol and wipes. I found some hairs in the bathroom and stains on walls, countertop of the windowsill and headboard of bed. The room should be throughly cleaned. The water in the sink is another story. I reported it was milky when hot water is turned on. The maintenence person came and said that is the norm for nyc water. Smh. Then why was the hot water in the shower not this color? I asked if I switched rooms would it be the same, he said yes. I never used the sink water. That to me is a hazard. But given the blizzard, couldn't switch. The staff overall is nice and helpful. That packaging hold fee needs to be revisited. Because if you can't tell me how you calculated it on my receipt, then that is a problem as I kept track of my packages and 7 out of 9 arrived same day, so it didn't add up, but I left it alone. The elevators take very long to come at peak times. I remember waiting like 15 minutes for it to come to more floor to get the the lobby and they close on you too if you try to hold it just to hurry get your bags in. The breakfast was full each day, the same foods: Eggs, potatoes, sausage or bacon. Construction happening, so noisy

The staff was winderful: helpful, cheery, courteous - and the location ( between 6th and 7th on W. 48th)!kept us near theaters for our shows but off the craziness of Times Square.
- 5/5
Everything was fine
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast okay but well stocked considering how busy they were.
- 5/5
Very courteous staff
- 1/5
It was advertised that there would be a gym there wasn’t due to renovations, and we were never notified prior to arrival, and I filled down the staircase and they never did any type of conversations for the discomfort and difficulty that I went through
- 5/5
been there only 2 nights but it was good
- 5/5
Great location, clean rooms. It’s a Hampton so don’t expect if to be 5 star
- 5/5
Wonderful!! Safe and clean. Close to everything.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay from beginning to end. The buffet staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
staff was really nice, but breakfast was too crowded
- 3/5
lobby is super un organized not sure why your running 3 different Hilton franchise in 1 lobby
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
its a little tight in the hotel in general the elevator system is ridiculous
- 4/5
Small rooms, convenient location for theaters & Radio City Music Hall.
- 2/5
Room was too warm and not able to control temp in room. Elevators very slow up and down. 4 am alarm in room and on several floors not able to reach front desk for info…went down 20 flights on foot to learn from other hotel occupants it was a false alarm. Hotel under construction
- 2/5
Despite the website saying you can store bags before check-in, we were told there was no room to do so, and we had to trek around rainy NYC for the first half of the day. The lobby was pure chaos, the elevators were slow and unreliable. The first night, our room was stuck at 73 degrees and no one would answer the phone at the front desk or via the “help” line. We muscled through and asked to cancel our trip early and were told that was fine as long as we left by 11. When we went to check out they tried to back pedal and charge us for the unused night. To his credit one front desk person (Tyreck) was super kind and helpful but that was really the only redeeming factor.
- 4/5
The room was clean, especially liked no carpeting on the floors! Easy walk to Radio City Music Hall, restaurants, bars, some shops. We walked there from Penn Station which was doable for us and would be easy for younger more fit folks! Staff was efficient, it was very busy! Good breakfast, and the rooftop bar was a decent stop for a nightcap .
- 2/5
I couldn’t believe how poorly the situation of a false fire alarm was handled. Especially with so little space. First, it wasn’t clear that the sound was a fire alarm, as it was simple beeps that didn’t continue so you assumed it was something else. With the elevators not working, everyone came down the stairs only to find out it was a false alarm due to one person smoking in their room. It would be nice for the hotel to have a way to communicate that it was a false alarm. You can text me to ask me how my stay was going but not text me that it was not an emergency? You must do better, especially when it creates such havoc, as we know how people act in these situations.
- 3/5
Fire alarm went off around 4am. Very unfortunate when we were trying to get a good night of sleep. Thankfully it turned off after about 1-2min but we were already up.
- 3/5
Room was tiny. Housekeeping never came to room. Construction going on in lobby, which was not disclosed prior to booking. Lobby was a nightmare at all hours, with people everyone. We were always waiting for elevators, even though there were a lot of them. Breakfast was a nightmare with too many people in a tiny space. The only thing that was great was the proximity to Radio City which was why we were there in the first place.
- 5/5
All was good, efficient, room clean. Rooms were small but the bed was big and comfy. The breakfast was really good
- 5/5
The room and location were great! The breakfast and elevators were super busy which was to be expected. We had the same front desk guy for check in and check out and he was so incredibly nice and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
Proximity to Times Square. Felt safe. The breakfast was good - super busy but expected. Happy to be on the 7th floor so we usually just walked up and now the stairs so we dirt tie up the busy elevators
- 2/5
The bad: very small room The ugly: we were on the 28th floor and waited 10 minutes for the elevator before we decided to walk down to breakfast. Once we got to breakfast there was no place to sit (despite the room being large) and the lines to get food were very long. We decided to leave and had to wait for an elevator up, into which we were stuffed like sardines. The elevators are computer controlled so we had little choice in what we could do. We met 2 women in the elevator who said they had just waited 1/2 hr for it to come! I have always been a huge fan of Hampton Inns, but this one was a stunning disappointment.
- 1/5
Will never stay here again!
- 5/5
El personal es muy amable y atento, el desayuno muy bueno, las habitaciones cómodas, todo higiénico, además es un hotel muy bueno para pasar unos días como lo hicimos mi familia y yo, 10/10
- 5/5
The staff súper .. clean room the breakfast 👍
- 3/5
Second staff wasn't as friendly as I hoped. Thirdly I was on the 7th floor next to the stairs, kept hearing door slamming shut! Day/night Couldn't sleep. Finally i was really disappointed hearing I couldnt go on the roof top. Really wanted to see sights.
- 1/5
We have always been loyal Hampton Inn customers, and we're now hesistant to book with Hampton again. Are all the properties now like this one??? If so, count us out!
- 2/5
Getting in and out of our room was very difficult. There was a door that led to two rooms, but in an areas thst only one person could fit at a time. It was hard to get in and out of with luggage. The room itself was very clean, but extremly small. I could touch the walls and beds without bending my arms, and I am short so my arms are not long. It also had a smell to it that made me gag evey time I walked into the room. Maybe the cleaning stuff they used? The elevator system was also difficult because the touch screans did not work well. There were times we waited 10-15 minutes to get on one. We were on the 36th floor so stairs were not an option. The lobby, elevators, and the enterence breakfast areas are all in the same small location so its very crowded. The hallways were also very small, not allowing room for two people with bags to walk comfortably or passing others easily. The luggage storage is not avaliable until 11am, despite what the website says 10am. This was frustating because I had come down to check out, had already told housekeeping I was done so they could start cleaning, and so I had to carry several heavy bags around NYC in the rain for the next hour so we could make all our schedule appointments. The breakfast was okay, the hash browns were very dry and the bacon was more chewy than crispy. They did have a good selection of choices otherwise. Not enough seating for the amount of people though. I will say that the staff at the front de was very friendly!
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Staff seemed preoccupied.
- 5/5
Location is great! We were able to walk to everything we wanted to do or see. Staff was friendly and helpful. Water bottle filler and ice machine on that floor is very nice. Rooms are small - We had limited space to move around and no real space for our suitcase. It's a hotel near Times Square, I don't expect there to be a ton of space. If you do, this might not be for you. There were smaller finish things that were a little annoying, but not a dealbreaker Both times we've stayed (2 years apart), there has been construction in the lobby. Maybe I just have bad timing. Breakfast is typical continental breakfast fare and pretty good. It can be chaotic. The staff does try to tell you the best times to go, but finding a table is tough. The people running the kitchen and dining area do a great job of trying to keep things clear and moving, but I've see other hotels manage breakfast better. Also, this round of construction might be expanding the dining area which would help a ton. They do have takeout containers. Any time I'm visiting the area, I'm going to check to see availability at this hotel as one of my first choices.
- 4/5
Room was clean however there is construction going on starting at 7am that awoken us. Congestion at the elevators as well. They tell you to take stairway B but it leads outside
- 5/5
Clean, very nice breakfast, very efficiently run and great location.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and friendly staff. Great location.
- 4/5
Clean room, quiet!
- 4/5
rooftop
- 1/5
Room was overbooked and were transferred to a hotel with the smallest room in NYC.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 2/5
The staff was awesome everyone, but the manager in the evening. A Korean guy, but they had construction in the building. My heat went out, but they did come and fix it. And I asked Alexander of hotel.com. Could he move me To a new hotel because I have lukenia and he was a rude annie hung up on me. and he told me he can cancel My reservations and find some money and pay for another hotel when I was already in New York and I could not afford that Hotel.com gave me Terrible service you all gave me terrsurface and I'm talking about hotels.com, not the hotel.
- 4/5
Clean room, staff was great. The key cards didn’t always work but other than that we had a great time
- 5/5
Everything
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, great location. Rooms are just a tad bit small.
- 5/5
Was perfect clean room close to everything! Stayed with my daughter and granddaughters for a magical holiday trip!
- 3/5
Room was so small , we couldn’t walk by the end of the bed without hitting our shoulder on the TV. Breakfast is a total cluster . Super slow elevators. Bathroom is a joke for 2 people. No room to put any of your toiletries.
- 5/5
Top notch customer service, clean room, Great location
- 5/5
all the workers there was really nice and the rooms were clean
- 3/5
Very small rooms
- 2/5
The room floor was dusty and the room was smaller than it seemed on the pictures. The lobby was apparently undergoing renovations and that made interacting with the staff more difficult. Finally and more importantly, the food was terrible.
- 1/5
I dont recommend it at allll!!!! Run away!
- 1/5
It was super hot in the rooms and no proper air flow ,it was suffocated
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great hotel, awesome staff, superb breakfast and clean room. Definitely will be back in the future
- 4/5
Staff and room good
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Staff friendly and efficient
- 3/5
My stay in the hotel was okay. I don't want to be too hard because i want to give them the grace that they are in a construction process and that is never easy but there was some times in the day when is impossible to get an elevator, the breakfast area seem about to collapse every single day, the rooftop was very beautiful but every space in the hotel seem to be too small for the amount of people staying in there. We couldn't ask for a better location, the staff was very attentive, nice and helpful.
- 5/5
It was excellent everything was good
- 5/5
Great location and overall a great experience. Lobby is super full in the morning though, didn’t mind.
- 3/5
The service was great. The breakfast is good. The room is too small to open suitcase all the way. The elevator system is AWFUL. Give yourself 30 minutes to get up to your room and an hour to get down.
- 5/5
Clean spacious room, customer friendly and welcoming staff, great breakfast variety
- 3/5
The house keeping didn’t do anything
- 5/5
Very professional from start to finish! They even disposed a broken suitcase, saving us the hassle. Thank you!
- 4/5
The staff were great. The room was very small. After 8 am , the hot water was almost non existent.
- 5/5
Room was perfect, Location was also perfect, and Staff was great too!
- 3/5
Room was clean. Construction was not mentioned at time of booking. Trying to navigate the elevator system was a nightmare! Especially around peak times. Walls were very thin. Breakfast is included, but regardless of what time you go it is a ZOO! Ran out of coffee and many other items at 8am.
- 3/5
Cons: early check in was not an option. We had a standard king room and it was tiny, even for NYC standards. Husband and I could barely move around the room. There was a lot of visible wear and tear around the room. Sound proofing was nonexistent- a gap under the door ensured you could hear everything in the hallways and thin windows meant very horn, siren and yell on the ground could be heard clearly. We were on the 13th floor. Overall an average stay. Would likely stay here again in a larger room.
- 5/5
It was great, nice breakfast
- 4/5
Staff and cleanliness of the rooms. Breakfast was great.
- 1/5
Over charged me and then charged me 300 for parking service that I never received…refused to give my room deposit back because of the so called parking service.. they lied and said I received.. if I could give them a zero I would.. DONT STAY HERE! Full of hustlers and grifters cooking the books to take advantage of tourists..
- 4/5
Clean room but very small even for 2 people . Paper cups in room and only 2 coffees not good for the price we paid. Cannot fault staff especially Riley a very helpful guy !!
- 5/5
Clean rooms, safe environment, great staff.
- 3/5
Room was clean but very small, not a lot of room for 3 people to get around each other. Hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine, but not enough room for people to sit. Bad thing is hotel allows dogs and the person down the hall had a dog that barked all night and they did nothing about it. So a sleepless night for us.
- 5/5
Hotel was very clean and convenient for areas of New York- they had a small selection of goods available to purchase rather than finding a shop.
- 4/5
Room was beautiful. Clean . Valet went well . 1 issue the front desk never answered so had to keep going down
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and efficient.
- 5/5
Room very clean. Staff at reception very kind and helpful!
- 5/5
Good location, decent continental breakfast, and comfortable rooms.
- 4/5
The room was clean, well‑maintained, and adequately sized for Manhattan standards. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping staff ensured everything was in order throughout my stay. Despite the busy area, noise levels inside the room were minimal, which made for a restful sleep.
- 2/5
Staff was very rude when needed help to stay a little bit longer due to court going over and just needed to pick up my things knowing that New York has a lot of traffic
- 2/5
Room temperature was either to hot or to cold. Breakfast area was crouded, fire alarm went off around midnight.
- 3/5
This hotel is perfect for the price if you don’t plan on spending much time in the room
- 3/5
Fire Alarms went off 3 times at 1 in the morning night two. I guess it happens? Breakfast is super busy. and the elevator thing can be alot- plan for extra time if you are trying to go in/out during busy times. All of the employees working breakfast were so amazing and working very hard, they deserve raises! Had a pretty bad cold and asked for tea bags for the room at the front desk. ( only coffee with the Keurig) Was told housekeeping would be right up. Waited an hour, went back to Lobby and was told by another employee about coffee, hot water and tea that was available all day every day in another room- wish we knew earlier than the night before we checked out! Front desk (maybe manager?). Helped us out with that and also a billing issue we had when we arrived, we were very grateful for his help! Close to everything, very convenient in terms of going to shows, restaurants etc. All in all, checks the boxes, We slept well, got where we wanted to go.
- 5/5
Staff and amenities✨
- 4/5
In the room there was hot water never in the shower.
- 2/5
Unknown construction, difficulty getting to bathroom with construction. Man on emergency intercom after fire alarm spoke broken English, did not have a consistent message. Front desk never answered from room phone or outside phone number. Bathroom electrical outlet didn’t work.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 2/5
On top of that, housekeeping didn’t come to our room until the last day. Our trash piled up for about three days, and we never received any toiletry restocks. Lastly, breakfast was advertised until 11 a.m., but by 10 a.m. there was barely anything left. Overall, the lack of communication, cleanliness, and service really affected our experience.
- 4/5
Staff was nice.
- 5/5
Clean room & staff were nice ! Great amenities
- 3/5
No the breakfast was horrible. No tables to sit. Loud noise from construction horrible
- 3/5
Is complicated and always crowded. Valet guys are amazing. People are professional and kind. The problem is about space. Rooms are very small also. It has a practical location.
- 5/5
Good location
- 4/5
Busy elevators were the only issue.
- 2/5
They were doing construction in the lobby…never was warned about it before our trip. The elevators were very frustrating if you do not get up and get out before 8am, you have to wait several minutes to get an elevator. Some people hopped on ones that were going up just to hopefully go down eventually. I selected and paid for a city view room and did not receive a city room view. Rooms are tiny than a cruise ship room!!! Breakfast buffet was not that great and packed nonstop…They don’t have enough seating to accommodate all the guests. Very disappointing !
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful. All the services were easily accessible. I gave it a four star only because I had some trouble with the heating system on day 1, but it was immediately addressed. Also, on the day of check out, one of the housekeeping staff members tried entering my room without even knocking on the door. Overall, it was a good experience.
- 5/5
Great everything
- 5/5
We didn’t access the breakfast although it was included!!
- 5/5
It was good
- 3/5
The location and the breakfast staff are the best part of this hotel. Rooms are tiny boxes and so are the bathrooms but thats probably NY city thing. The breakfast certainly had variety but was cold. Wven if you went earlier. They are doing construction insude the hotel, so finding a space to eat was challenging. House keeping is sketchy. Ecen though we had asked for service everday at booking, we dudnt get it. Plus we had to ask repeatedly to have our room cleaned the next day and it was cleaned at 5 pm. Needless to say we were not happy about that. Location of property is great though. Right near times square. Si that was the best part. Very overcrowded though.
- 5/5
Room was small but adequate.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Great place to stay and close to everything in Times Square. Clean hotel, great customer service and would definitely recommend to stay here any trip to NY!
- 2/5
The purpose of us going to New York watch to watch the ball drop they told us we can go on the rooftop when we made the reservations they lied to us you had to pay $400 a person to go up there also the breakfast was terrible the service was terrible I would never stay there again thanks for lying to us and ruining our 3-day stay the whole purpose for going was to watching the ball drop both sides of the Street the hotel we were staying at were blocked so we couldn't leave they gave us a silver bracelet and the paper saying that we can go in and out that was a lie so we paid $1,200 and we stayed in our hotel room because we couldn't watch the ball drop from the rooftop or from outside thanks a lot for ruining it for us we'll do it again but not at this hotel
- 3/5
The elevator lines were ridiculous. Breakfast too full. No space in lobby to sit down. Rooms tiny.
- 3/5
The staff was kind, very good location, but the rooms where tiny, it was super unconfortable to be in such a reduced space with the whole family.
- 5/5
I never leave reviews, but I feel compelled to say that this hotel far exceeded my expectations. The location was incredible, the room was beautiful, and the staff were very patient and friendly! The value was unbelievable! Thank you for a wonderful trip!
- 5/5
Service was exemplary, even with crowd.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, staff was great.
- 2/5
Elevator took 45+ minutes to just try to go down and get coffee in the morning! Ended up taking stairs for portion of up/down. The breakfast area was so packed we didn’t even try to get food. Total chaos in lobby and they oversold the rooms and had to find my kids a room in the adjacent hotel.
- 4/5
Check in was easy, room was nice, and breakfast was good. Hiwever, the elevators SUCKED.
- 3/5
Elevator service is horrible especially during peak hours. They have an extra elevator but will only use it for an emergency or handicap issues or going to the bar It’s even worse when you have housekeeping punching out. They take up all the space. Bar staff is rude especially the hostess. She does not want to be there. If you have to work good luck with that there is no area downstairs. And to work in a cramped up room sucks. Don’t do long stays at this place. You can get a bigger room with more elevators a few blocks over for the same price. You walk everywhere so it’s worth your comfort not to stay here.
- 4/5
microwave were hard to get at. shower was difficult to adjust head. however good location for us at that time. was good experience
- 4/5
The staff were wonderful. Our HVAC unit wasn’t working and the maintenance guy fixed it with ease and gave recommendations for places to eat near us. The front desk attendants were very responsive and communicative. We even had our bags held so we could stay in the city just to do a few last minute things after we checked out. I think the only major thing I would have changed is the cleaning services to be done more than once during our stay. It was clean throughout but a little more would have been nice. The breakfast was better after a few days but I would have enjoyed some fresh fruit or other things pre made like a biscuit to go. The addition of a pool would be incredible since there is still construction happening as well.
- 3/5
Infraestructura muy pequeña para demasiadas personas
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Right in Times Square. So close to many picture opportunities, a variety of shops and restaurants. Close to multiple subways and taxi access if you prefer. walking distance to Penn Station.
- 1/5
Breakfast kitchen personnel were very nice and courteous.
- 3/5
The room was very uncomfortable and unexpectedly small. The elevator took 20 minutes to come down or up and it was always full , sometimes it would stop and have some people get off and take the stairs.
- 5/5
The staff was great and helpful! The room was great and the breakfast service was wonderful. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay.
- 5/5
We have had such a great time here and the staff are so kind and helpful. Room was lovely and the location was perfect for us. Check-in’s in and out was smooth and bag check very easy. Could use more seating in the lobby for waiting but otherwise great.
- 5/5
Clean hotel and great distance to time square.
- 4/5
Everything was great except the rooms were so tight… no room to store much.
- 3/5
J.Sanborn Brentwood, NH
- 1/5
The room was super small, the AC ran all night, I was over charged, want told about any amenities including exercise room that didn’t exist. The elevators were electronically controlled, they stopped at every, “EVERY”, floor on the way down. I’m 50 probably one of the worse place I ever stayed. They might even be worse than motel 6
- 4/5
Yes
- 4/5
Room was clean and the view was great
- 4/5
I didnt try the breakfast however it looked great. Location was perfection given we were there for the holidays. Definitely would return. Only thing to note is that the rooms are super small but it is NYC so you can't expect much larger.
- 4/5
Great location! Room was very small. Air conditioning did not work well and maintenance tried to fix, but did not fix so we were hot while trying to sleep. The breakfast was great, but it needs more seating for breakfast as it was very crowded and nowhere to sit for breakfast. Also, housekeeping was supposed to clean our room (empty trash, replenish towels, etc…) every other day. However, on day 3 of our stay housekeeping did not come and I had to call to request for the trash to be removed.
- 5/5
Location is a 10
- 5/5
Amazing and supportive staff! Incredibly clean and staff always attentive.
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
Great location. Clean . Staff nice
- 5/5
Room was very clean
- 5/5
Awesome location! Clean rooms, friendly staff and good breakfast
- 3/5
Breakfast staff was amazing. Location is a short distance from a lot of activities.
- 4/5
The bar in the lobby was not open and the rooftop bar only had one section open and was a little too fancy to meet the needs of the average person. There was no room for breakfast, so we ate in our rooms. The Breakfast the second day was better than the first but it wasn’t as good as some I’ve had in other lower rated hotels. There was a water leak on the ceiling in the shower but other than that, the room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
The location is ideal and the staff was wondeful
- 4/5
Room was really good, the location was perfect
- 5/5
Location!
- 5/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was spotless. I will definitely book this hotel again.
- 5/5
Yes we we’re pleased
- 5/5
Room was clean, great breakfast, great location!
- 2/5
The elevators were a nightmare! Waited well over an hour to try to get an elevator with enough room for one of us and a suitcase to get downstairs to check out. Everyday the elevators took forever and were always jammed full.
- 5/5
Perfect area, close to everything! Breakfast was really good. Beds were very comfortable and I was surprised but I didn’t hear any noise from outside or the hallways. Would definitely recommend! Would stay here again
- 4/5
very close to time square and the activities..
- 3/5
Room was small but that was kind of expected. Elevator system was not convenient. Had to wait long times to go down especially during breakfast. Staff was nice and hotel was pretty clean.
- 5/5
They where perfect
- 4/5
The check-in was quick and easy and pretty central to all the things we wanted to see for the holiday
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
GREAT location, right next to Broadway, the Radio City Music Hall and MOMA. Staff is wonderful, BUT... Teeny tiny rooms, elevator system is a train wreck. The bar upstairs is ONLY a bar... menu is a joke, and no coffee for a hot drink on a freezing night. Good price requires a few compromises.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing. The location was great. The breakfast options were great. We enjoyed everything about our stay!
- 5/5
I love this place! The location, the pizza place right across the street is so friendly and so good! The room was very clean and looked and felt fresh. It was awesome to have a microwave and refrigerator in the room. It is NY, so it is tiny, but comfortable. The staff was awesome and I mean awesome, whether on text, face to face, or requesting extra towels. The breakfast is decent, the lady that sings during the breakfast was so sweet and totally makes your morning! 2 things to know: 1. If you find yourself waiting for the elevator for longer than usual, it will take awhile to get down and if you're a bit claustrophobic like me with a lot of people in an elevator to the point where it asks someone to get out because it's overloaded (lol), get ready to sweat and or exit (I was very close to exiting when it kept stopping at almost every floor). This was at 5pm on a Wednesday. 2. Is not related to the hotel because the rooftop bar and grill is not associated with the hotel, so you have to take a separate elevator from the lobby and they do not have to-go containers if you're looking to take food to your room. I thought that was so inconvenient and honestly was like what? How do you serve food and not have containers, so I guess they're okay with losing business.
- 3/5
Room size was small but not shocked given New York standards. The elevator situation was the biggest challenge during our stay. They were inconsistent in operation and when operating slow and unreliable. We had to drag our suitcases down a few flights of stairs because the elevator on our floor wasn't working. Additionally, lobby was always crazy busy with no place to sit
- 5/5
It was very helpful that they are near all stores you can think of, they are not far from it.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Good.
- 5/5
The hotel room was clean and stocked with all the necessities like towels and toilet paper. The staff was friendly and quick to respond to anything we needed. The location was awesome! Very close to Times Square and Rockefeller Center. Unfortunately, the elevator wait, especially in the morning was very long!!! Waiting up to 30 minutes at times because it was already full of people once it got to our 24th floor. The breakfast in my opinion was awful! No plain eggs, just egg and cheese omelet. The waffles were frozen like Eggo waffles that had been heated up but were hard as a brick. The sausage tasted like turkey sausage and was not good. The potato cakes were edible. BUT the coffee!!!!!!!!! It was terrible! Looked like sludge and tasted awful!!!!!! Besides the elevators and breakfast, it was good. The location is phenomenal and we would most definitely stay again, hopefully on a floor lower than 5 and eat out for breakfast. 👍😁
- 5/5
We found our home when in nyc. Thank you everyone there!! Oh we had two children with us. Is was perfect
- 5/5
Great location and staff
- 4/5
Clean room.
- 4/5
Staff was great, gym was out and elevator times were terrible in Morning. Ran the stairs every morning from 29th floor. Also, in process of remodeling, so lobby is very cramped during peak times.
- 4/5
Toasters are slow and don’t toast very well. Need additional juice bar setup. Layout is terrible. Food was lukewarm
