Disappointed no fridge. Breakfast fine. Free water at check in. And iced lemon water in lobby. Shaded patio area. Easy walk to coffee, breakfast, pizza, tacos. Some in our party of 5 thought beds too hard. Appreciated easy access to ice machine. Housekeeping staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is Ok. No fridge or microwave. It's expected with the price close to Grand Central. When we checked in, the receptionist just gave us 2 bottles of water for 3 of us until we asked for one more bottle.

The staff was very kind and helpful with figuring out valet parking. If I were to find myself in NYC again, I would stay there because of its convenience to everything.

The area is safe. There’s a lot of police presence as the location is very close to the United Nations headquarters. There’s 1.50 pizza a block away. The biggest bonus when walking to and from Grand Central! Elevators were fast, staff were super friendly! They have luggage storage and we utilized it on the day of check in and check out. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Breakfast was good, and they tried to offer 3–4 different options every day. The food was tasty, there was a wide variety of items, and you could easily have a filling meal. There was also a station where you could get drinks throughout the day. The location is convenient, within a 5-minute walk of Grand Central and the nearest subway station. We stayed in a family room with two king-size beds, and the room size was quite adequate. The bathroom faces directly toward the beds, but there is not much that can be done about that. There is construction work in the building across the street, so noise starts as early as 4:00 a.m. and continues until around 6:00–7:00 p.m. This is obviously beyond the hotel's control. Rooms facing the back of the building may be a better choice. Regarding payment, the charge for the first night was processed twice. We noticed it before the end of our stay, informed the staff, and the issue was corrected immediately. The rooms do not have refrigerators. On two occasions, I was allowed to use the refrigerator downstairs for my small child, although it did not seem to be offered very willingly. I assume this may be because guests can pay extra to have a refrigerator in their room. The kitchen and dining staff were very friendly and consistently helpful. The wardrobes in the rooms are quite small, especially if you are staying for 6–7 days or longer. As a result, we ended up using the ironing board as a temporary table. The furniture is somewhat dated, but it is functional and does not cause any issues during the stay.

The hotel’s location was good, about 6 minutes from Grand Central. The staff was available and courteous, but the rooms are small, and the facilities and furniture need renovation and replacement.

Breakfast was well made and available for extended time. There was coffee, tea and chocolate all day. Space is neat and location is very accessible to key places for first time travelers. We are really glad we booked the hotel.

Maintenance department needs to do better with concerns of the customer. Toilet leaked for two day and fix was not completed.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I was highly impressed! I wasn’t expecting a lot by any means but the hotel, staff, location & breakfast was phenomenal. Breakfast was great - different foods every morning. Loved breakfast started early (6am - 10am). Coffee, tea, hot cocoa and cold water 24 hours. The area felt safe and in a good location. Staff were amazing, very helpful with my questions and offering suggestions. Room was VERY clean and spacious for NYC. All the amenities you could need. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this location to others.

I booked this place at a quite low price on booking, about $150. For this price, it’s really a perfect place. The location is amazing, which takes at most 30min to any tourist spot in manhattan by subway. The room is clean and bigger than I expected. No parking place. The valet is far more expensive than finding a public parking by yourself.

The location was close to NYU and the river. Fairly quiet. Rooms were a bit small, but after all it is NYC. Prices were fair. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel was very conveniently located to many places of interest. It was very clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were super attentive and upbeat. It was a pleasure to stay here, it felt like you got very personal attention even though it is a big chain hotel.

There is construction work/demolition in front of the hotel which starts at 4.30am! This disrupted our sleep, staff moved our room but this was much smaller. The breakfast is average, lots of Hugh fat products, cheap juice and coffee. Overall this hotel is average but in a good location. Wouldn’t personally stay here again.

Accessible to my Aunt place. The hotel is good but the staff was rude and judgemental.Sorry I didnt get the name of the staff. I booked airport taxi on 20-04-26 but the male receptionist made a mistake booking my taxi. When i checked out I dont have the taxi booking. This kind polite and helpful petite with eyeglasses female young receptionist she booked me again and She apologised for the confusion. Anyway,1 hour before our boarding i realised my wallet was missing. I rang my Aunt if she could go to the hotel to check if the taxi driver return it . Instead She rang the hotel and she was speaking to this rude judgemental staff and she wasnt listening to my Aunt . She accused me that I didnt turn up for my taxi ( Its not my fault regarding the booking) and she said maybe I booked taxi outside. My Aunt keep insisting that I didnt booked taxi outside of the hotel because my Aunt was in the hotel lobby when the female receptionist rang the taxi company. But still this rude staff still insisting that i booked taxi outside. She's not helpful and very rude. Miracle happened taxi driver return my wallet to the hotel. I asked if I could get the number of the taxi driver to give somehting to say Thank you for your kindness and honesty. They cannot give the number . It's frustrating. To this rude and judgemental staff YOU NEED TO KNOW THE WHOLE STORY BEFORE YOU OPEN YOUR MOUTH.I'm not happy accusing me that IT'S MY FAULT. YOU NEED A TRAINING FOR LISTENING and UNDERSTANDING. I sent an email to the hotel. I'm still waiting for their reply.

Fair price for the location and facilities, as well as, the breakfast included. The sound isolation between rooms is not so good so, it is expected some noise during your stay.

Upon check asked for room upgrade and promptly refused stating no upgrade available even though hotel was not sold out. Receptionist was short and matter of fact about my request and check in. Room was rather small for room charge and did not receive any room cleaning service for three night stay. When inquired at front desk receptionist did not address the lack of room cleaning and only offered trash bags for the overflowing miniature trash cans. No linens were provided but to be fair did not ask after his matter of fact response to no room cleaning. Was filling up water bottles at complimentary water pitcher and was rudely told to go down to gym to fill bottles Quick response to that faux pas but no to the hotels lack of courtesy and room cleaning. Will jot stay at this location again.

Clean room and good hospitality.

The room and bathroom were clean and all toiletries were present. The coffee maker had everything necessary to brew. There was new carpeting in the hotel and he staff was very friendly and provided s with a list of many eateries in the area. Breakfast was very good with eggs, sausages, potatoes, plenty of fresh fruit, cereals and make your own waffles. Very good coffee too. Very convenient location only a couple of blocks from Grand Central.

The water was too hot, and there were no alternative rooms, so no shower, for us. They promised a half price reduction, but I haven’t seen it, yet. Everything else was great,( staff, clean, and breakfast).

Location is excellent, breakfast is typical american but enough and different each day. The 2 bed room is spacious enough and fits 4 adults with ease. Staff is great and helpful. Refund for the deposit was instant. Shower is fixed to the wall, this can be an improvement in the future and something the hotel cannot do anything about, the renovations that are going on vis-a-vis and where work starts at 6 AM :).

The only thing that needs improvement is the elevators. They were slow and easy to break. When you stayed at floors higher than 15, it took close to 15 minutes to come down. Especially during morning rush hours, when one elevator is closed and the other stopped at every floor, it was painful.

There were a lot of reviews about the rooms being small but tbh, you’re bang in the middle of the city and it’s not expensive for what you get.

Looks like the property was recently renovated. Room condition was ok but the room itself was super tiny. Also very thin walls where you can hear everything from the walkways and other rooms. Other than that no issues

The room was TINY. Not really big enough for two adults and two kids. Also, the internet didn’t work for the first 24 hours of the stay.

Great stay there as a group of 3 in February. The Rooms decor (curtains and carpet) are updated and look actually more modern than shown on the photos. Room was clean, and quiet. Staff is friendly and professional, breakfast was excellent. We had a 24 hours long snow storm, the breakfast room was open until 12 pm that snowy day which was very nice. I would stay here again!

Breakfast was only ok, the food itself was fine but there was very few spaces to sit, the tables weren’t cleared from previous guests and it was all served (self service) with disposable plates and cutlery. A more sustainable approach would be to use regular plated and cutlery.

However, every night was a fight to stay asleep, because of fighting off a neck or headache due to the beds' down pillows, which immediately flatten to ZERO support when your head lands on them! Using 2 didn't help any at all, since they both did the same, then you've got double the pressure on both sides and the top of your head...headache in 12-15 minutes every time. Shredded memory foam pillows are the only thing I've found that doesn't do that, for me. But, just MY opinion!

For the price, the location is excellent. Place is a bit dated, but you don't travel to NYC to stay in your room. Food wasn't great, but there is a reasonable selection for breakfast. Staff are amazing. Would I stay here again? Yes I certainly would

It was OK, but “free” breakfast was subpar so we went out to eat at a restaurant two out of the three days, and I should not have been charged for a refrigerator in the room… That’s unheard of and ridiculous

The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast good. The only issue we had is with the satellite tv reception. Every several minutes the television would freeze and then restart a few minutes later. This occured every day during our stay...

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Hotel is a very convenient location, but the decor dated and very worn. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable and linens have clearly been in service for a while. Room was clean, but amenities limited. Staff was courteous. There was a notice regarding ongoing renovations, so I hope this property gets the full upgrade it deserves.

Stay overall was good minus a few hiccups regarding the hotel’s free breakfast and somewhat lackluster soundproofing of the walls. Can still recommend this establishment for its good location.

What really stood out was how thoughtful she was when I mentioned it was my daughter’s birthday trip. After a long day exploring Central Park, we returned to find our room beautifully decorated with balloons and a cupcake waiting—an absolute highlight for my daughter! Victoria went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She’s a true asset to the team, and we’ll definitely be coming back thanks to her amazing hospitality.

Staff are lovely, room was spotless and comfortable, but overwhelming smell of artificial air freshener, which I had to find, pop in a drawer and open the window for the whole stay.

This hotel was what I expected for the budget. A comfortable and clean room. The location is excellent if you want to take in the typical NYC tourist attractions with blowing the bank! The staff was friendly and the neighborhood felt safe.

The only things to be aware of are slow elevator and the HVAC for this hotel is very curious. In the mornings, our entire room would smell like breakfast although we were on the 12th floor.

Lovely hotel in a really great location. 5 min walk from grand central. Rooms a little dated, but extremely clean and comfortable. Staff all very friendly and welcoming. Free safe in room. Would recommend and would definately return. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic too, great choice of juices, cereal, toast, bagels and the biggest hit was the make your own waffles.

The bathroom door was a sliding slab, with resulting cracks/openings around the edges. This resulted in a lack of privacy. Also, there was no bathroom fan. This was sub-par.

Loved the location and their flexibility we arrived way past 2:30am due to airport delays. They severe very accommodating.

The only two things good about this hotel were the location and the breakfast. The room was too small with no fridge and microwave. If you want to have a fridge, you need to pay ten dollars more daily and I've never seen such a thing before. Upon arrival, they ask you to pay 100 dollars per night incidental and when they ask them about why, you don't get an answer and they just repeated the same sentence like a robot. I know it's a busy and expensive area in New York, but the room was too small even for that area. The front area and the sign of the hotel are left on their own with the area dorty and the sign is always off. Overall, I expected much better service, hospitality, and cleanliness from a hotel with such a high guest rating.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in a great location. The staff elevated the stay from standard to excellent. Everyone we encountered, from the breakfast staff, front desk, and cleaning staff, were all extremely friendly and kind, especially to my eight year old son. I'd stay there again simply for the kind people.

The room was nothing like the picture although it was clean and comfortable and for the time we spent in it adequate. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Was a good location for exploring New York. The breakfast was served on plastic plates with wooden cutlery. Was very crowded.

Very good size rooms for being in NYC! Rooms were very clean, good size bathroom, comfortable beds and pillows. Easy walk to shopping and restaurants. About 15-20 min walk to Times Square but so much to see and do on the walk. Easy valet parking option. Super friendly and helpful front desk agents!! I will stay here again!!!!

All of the staff, especially during the daytime, were super friendly, including the cleaning crew. Breakfast was included, and I noticed to-go boxes available in the morning, which was a nice gesture. The location is great. The rooms are definitely worn and older, and the bed was not the most comfortable, but it worked fine for a quick business trip.

Conveniently located to Grand Central and the bus. Can also access Penn Station via a brief 25 Minute walk. The price was a bit steep but definitely a good option and would stay there again due to the easy access and location. The “to-go breakfast for someone on the run was great! Would definitely recommend.

Had a great time at this hotel. The location is the best. Only 2 blocks from Grand Central, so you can get anywhere. Stayed 2 days and came back. Asia was very nice and got us into our room early. All the girls working were very nice and helpful. Room was clean, water was hot, A/C was cold. Breakfast was good. Couldn't ask for more.

It felt like the room was part of a suite, with access to adjacent room from within. The next door guests could be heard easily through that door, which was really annoying. The bath had a sliding door which didnt close completely. The room wasnt nice.

The space of the double bed room is small and congested. Its not really worthy the money we spent. Their breakfast options were good.

It was overall nice - the team was kind at the front desk and room was clean and well tailored for our arrival. Breakfast was a little lacking in freshness since we don't eat heavy traditional breakfast food - the fruit was either old or under ripened each day. Coffee was empty on multiple attempts to get it each morning and the hot water was barely luke warm in the morning and evening times.

The rooms have everything you need for a short stay. The staff are lively, accommodating, well-mannered. Breakfast was more than sufficient, waffle station was a hit with the kiddos.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. I was even allowed to check in one hour earlier than the usual time at no extra cost, which I really appreciated after a long journey. The most impressive part of my stay happened after I checked out. I accidentally left my wallet in the hotel room. I contacted the hotel, and the staff quickly found it and kindly arranged to have it mailed back to my home. Their honesty and kindness truly touched me and made me feel valued as a guest. It was an overall pleasant and memorable experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit New York City.

Nothing very special about this hotel. Room was very small for the price. The location of hotel and the customer service were excellent though. Breakfast wasn't bad, but you really need to offer the NYC bagels at breakfast, not the cheap grocery store bagels that you served. What a nice perk that would be.

WE HADE TO MAKE A CHANGE IN OUR STAY AND THE PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK WENT OUT OF WAY TO WORK IT OUT. COULD'NT OF ASK FOR A BETTER PERSON HER NAME WAS VICTORIA. WITH PEOPLE LIKE HER I WILL STAY OUT THE HAMPTON.

Ok location. Rooms are clean but small. Ditto bathrooms. Upper floors quiet. No service elevator so getting up and down is slow. Breakfast typical, plentiful if flavorless. Not really cheaper than other properties so if you’re not looking to use or collect points would not be my first choice.

The hotel in general needs renovated. The rooms are small and there is no sound proofing between rooms. It felt like the guests in the adjoining room were coming into our room when they were entering theirs, and we could hear every word they spoke. The room was dark with old furniture and the carpet felt unclean, smelt musty and needed replaced. The bathroom fan did not work which does help. For some reason there are only 3 sets of towels and when the room was cleaned only 3 sets of towels were left, despite 4 of us in the room. When I asked a housekeeper nicely for an extra towel on the first night we arrived she was rather aggressive and angry and told us we could only have one towel. That’s all we needed but I wasn’t impressed with the way she spoke to me. On a positive note we didn’t hear any noise from the street when in our room. Most of the staff were pleasant. Breakfast at the weekend was extremely busy with the food running out. Staff were doing their best to replace it. Thankfully it was a lot less busy after the weekend. Location is good, just 5 mins walk to Central Station.

Rooms not worth the price...no toiletries, dirty carpet, old furniture..paid about 350$/ night..Staff was rude... had to even pay for water bottles..

Couple issues I was not pleased with my phone in my room wasn't working I was put on a low floor as a solo traveler I wasn't comfortable especially if I had a two day stay I ck out and I still have a 200 dollar hold i was told possibly release my money 7-10days unacceptable

Shower was missing shampoo. Informed the front desk & housekeeping responded immediately. Housekeeping made our bed, but did not replace the towels, did not dump the trash nor replenish coffee supplies, but left 6 clean pillowcase’s on the back of the desk chair. Don’t know why, front desk didn’t either. I’m picky due to my 26 years hotel management experience. Csnt help it.
