Great breakfast!

Great, affordable Brooklyn option! Clean, spacious rooms. Lovely staff. Breakfast was an added bonus - nothing fancy but plentiful and with a wide variety. Easy B line subway access. Shower was amazing! Bed wasn’t the best we’ve had but certainly not the worst either. This will be our go to hotel when we visit Brooklyn again.

Before arriving, I contacted the hotel regarding a special occasion trip to New York for the Tribeca Film Festival, and the team kindly responded that my notes had been added to my reservation. However, I was initially assigned the wrong room type, and it seemed those notes had not been reviewed before arrival. The staff quickly resolved the issue, and I appreciate their efforts. My main suggestion would be to review guest notes and special requests 24–48 hours before check-in to ensure expectations are met. I would also recommend clearer communication on Expedia regarding the $100 per night incidental authorization, as this was unexpected during check-in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning in the future.

Staff was helpful and very friendly; breakfast was delicious! Rooms were very clean and neat. The location of the hotel was not good for me, as the police and fire stations are very close by and I didn't get much sleep with sirens going 24/7. I do not fault the hotel for this, but I won't be staying here again because of this

Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel is very clean. Breakfast selections were good. I didn't like that there are no fridges in the room and the only ice machine was two floors away from my room. I was generally pleased and would stay there again. It's a convenient location to Brooklyn and lower Manhattan.

I was there for a weekend and we loved the experience, we will be coming back on August and hoping to book in this place. Breakfast included was a plus and staff was ready for us all the time

The breakfast menu was excellent. Had an issue when one if the staff asked my mom and I to leave the Lounge as our table needs cleaning at a certain time each morning but otherwise a good stay.

Shout-out to Romeo from check-in, who went out of his way to make sure I had all I needed. The room was impeccably clean, and comfortable. The location was convenient, with public transportation not too far away. Check-out was easy, and staff was very friendly.

Everything was expertly handled! My only complaint is that the shower floors are INSANELY slippery! Now, I will allow for the proven fact that I'm an incurable klutz, but STILL!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean and the staff was extremely polite and helpful.

When we arrived our room had a random wite hanger from previous guests on the sink in the bathroom. There was also a tooth flosser on the carpet in the bedroom. I called the front desk and they said they would come up and do a deep clean. when we arrived back to our room they were just finishing up the cleaning. After they left we noted that the flosser was still on the carpet in the middle of the room. The staff was friendly, but we had to call again to have them come clean the room. We did not feel confident about sleeping in our bed and ended up sleeping on top of the comforter. It should be noted for anyone with a down allergy ~ the pillows are down filled (very common in hotels). It took three hours to get them swapped out (and two phone calls). The AC was very loud (but so is all of NYC). This they did remedy right away the next morning.

The staff were so awesome! Kaya in the bar and the Director of Ops were accommodating, informative and kind.

Very clean hotel with a fresh, genuinely clean scent throughout not overly chemical or artificial. The linens and towels smelled freshly laundered and spotless, which I always notice and appreciate. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, especially the bartender at the restaurant/bar and Ki at checkout, who was truly a ray of sunshine. The included breakfast was also much better than the typical hotel breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Check in was hassle free .Breakfast style buffet was great with a variety of items to select from.I would recommend this place to anyone looking to book an excellent hotel to stay in Brooklyn. The staff was very friendly and the location was good. The only issue was our family was booked on two different floors (5 floors apart) and with only one operating elevator the first day of our stay it made it difficult, with the long wait times and crowded elevator being shared between 20 floors. Using the stairs helped , but this may be an issue for some.

The room was well equipped including hair dryer and make up removal wipes. Beds very comfortable and a beautifully appointed shower. Breakfast choices included a thin tasty omelette,bacon,sausage and potatoes or mixed fruit,yoghurt or waffles. Staff was welcoming. Hotel clean. It exceeded my expectations- a small bar with small choice of sandwiches was a nice addition. I will go again.

Wonderful location close to Dumbo and Manhattan. The staff is very kind and helpful and the breakfast is great. Will definitely stay here again.

The staff was very kind. They gave us all bottled water. Our son and daugher-in-law came to chat for a few hours and they told us they could visit in our room or in the lobby. They personally welcomed them when they arrived. They were just super nice! It was kind of old, but it was clean and comfortable.

The staff, especially the front desk, friendly, helpful, polite. No matter what they were asked to do a can-do attitude. They changed our room immediately to a handicapped accessible room. I gave you accommodations only four stars because there was a recent renovation that had some glitches with the handicapped bathroom.

We biked the 5 Borough Bike Tour and this was the perfect place to stay . It is a short ride over Brooklyn Bridge to the start . Staff are amazing and so helpful .Room clean with very comfy beds . Good breakfast . A great location to check out Brooklyn . Highly recommend!!

Staff ver accommodating, AC quiet, pillows and sheets nice, bathroom very disappointing.. a tub but no way to fill it and the stopper didn’t work, also the shower fixtures very confusing. The vanity way too small. Location very busy.

Be careful of the ‘bait and switch’ at this property. We had a prepaid and confirmed booking on Expedia for a room with a king bed and refrigerator. As the front desk clerk was handing us our keys, she said we weren’t able to give you the type of room on your booking. No apology or compensation.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location. Quiet and comfortable. It doesn’t have all the fancy amenities that some higher end hotels might have like a spa, but when you’re in NYC it’s not about spas. It’s about the city. We would definitely stay again!

Stayed there for a concert and I was quite happy with the distance from the venue and the breakfast in the morning. It helped me save money on meals, which was super convenient. While my interactions with staff were minimal, they were still pleasant and professional. I would recommend this location for any travelers.

For the most part the property was very good to excellent. The room was clean, staff were friendly, efficient and very helpful and accommodating. The free breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold choices. I adored the poppy seed scones. My room was smaller than I anticipated and a microwave in the room would have been helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel — everything was wonderful. It was my last night in New York, and I asked if I could get a room with a view of Manhattan, and they kindly gave me one! The room was spacious and had everything I needed. The breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that I couldn’t take my car out of the parking garage for a couple of hours without an extra charge, but I understand that this is probably typical for Manhattan.

The staff was incredibly professional, despite being overwhelmed at the time of our arrival, and maintained a polite disposition when other guests became disgruntled over the check in time (I believe they had a special request). Overall, I will absolutely be staying here again.

Hotel is close to the downtown area (Times Square is a few train stops away) which is great. The room was clean and quiet and suited my needs well. The restaurant onsite is comparable to any of the restaurants in the city. Food was great and not too expensive. Parking garage is a half a block away on the same side as the hotel and they are open 24/hours so that was great. Best to park there and take the train or walk to ur destination instead. Only issue we had was during my stay the shower started to slowly drain after every shower and the number plate in the middle of the hallways to direct you to what side ur room is located fell off the wall. Management was notified and they immediately sent someone to address our concerns.

Definitely recommend! Staff was great! Lobby was very clean and coffee available 24/7! Room was very clean and spacious with a great view of the Manhattan Bridge! Halls were clean and basically noise free. Breakfast was really good and they were on top of keeping it clean and restocked with food. Its close to lots of things, so getting an Uber was quick and easy. It was about a 10-15 walk to a subway and a nice area that seemed pretty safe to walk alone.

Such a great experience here. The free breakfast was different daily w/ fresh fruits. I got an excellent workout daily on the Peleton and with other great equipment in the gym. And oh my goodness, the food at The House Bar was excellent, as were the cocktails and delightful bartender. My room was clean, comfortable and refreshed daily. I will definitely be back.

Overall my stay was great. The property is older but my room was very clean. I like the hotel bar and the menu is fair - bar food, so it would be nice to have some healthier options. Two small ‘attention to detail’ things - room service order was wrong and I was unable to correct it (too late) and my coffee was decaf only both days. Breakfast is free - not my favorite in terms of being healthy, but there are a lot of options. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

However, they could expand the food offerings at both the restaurant and snack bar. Just a very minor observation for a very enjoyable stay.

The costs for a one night stay, including the various taxes and levies, were excessive. The noise, from the street and my next door neighbor, was problematic.

The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Brooklyn, close to everything and just steps from DUMBO. It’s a much quieter area of New York, yet with very easy access to Manhattan. The hotel also offers partner parking, which made our stay much more convenient and stress-free—something that can often be a challenge in NYC. I would definitely stay there again!

The staff in this facility is amazing. Eager to help and accommodate the guests. The common areas are clean and welcoming—-with coffees and hot water to welcome guests. No matter how busy the hotel is, the rooms are quiet. Breakfast is available with breakfast fare. Location is outstanding for Downtown Brooklyn—-close to the bridge, metro center and Dumbo. Great place to stay for a holiday week-end in NY.

My stay in Brookland was a plus .Iwas able to check in a little earlier which was great hotel location was great .The carpet a little worn (I always bring shoes and shower shoes for this purpose )and the complementary breakfast staff we’re not too friendly and a presentation of what was served wasn’t good. Did not eat there . It’s a hotel was a little pricey, but that’s New York

Pros: Good bed and temperature control, clean and quiet room, attentive staff,, fresh cut melon and berries at breakfast. My only negative comment is they could include whole grain bread or waffle options, healthier cereal choices, and some better (less sweet) yogurt elections.

Such a pleasant stay would definitely stay again

Everyone was very welcoming upon arrival. Room was exceptionally clean and we were even able to check in a little early. Molly was extremely helpful with making sure our stay was comfortable. Hotel was very accommodating to my request of having a fridge/freezer running 24/7 for medical necessities.

The hotel was very clean, provided breakfast, and the staff were friendly. The location was also great—close enough to walk to DUMBO. I had accidentally entered the wrong dates when making my reservation, but I realized it within five minutes and canceled it right away to rebook with the correct dates. Expedia initially said they would refund only $30, but after speaking with the hotel, everything worked out well and I was able to receive a full refund for all three days. It was a really positive experience, and I would definitely stay here again next time.

The bathroom wallpaper was peeling off. The bathroom did not have a venting fan and got steamy. There was no refrigerator .

Reception staff were amazing (Thank you Ki!). Hotel is on a junction so a little noisy but nothing major. Breakfast every morning has a good selection and coffee is available all day. Really close to 2 subway stations and easy to get everywhere. Would recommend!

The room was exquisite! The view was beautiful, the bed was comfortable the bathroom was spacious.Check in was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly and polite. One staff even danced and sang happy birthday to me! I really felt special! The check out staff even helped me with an issue I had and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend and return. Breakfast was delicious and filling as well!

Very few things worked, the refrigerator did not worked. I complained and they gave me another refrigerator that did not work. The maid service came 3 out of 4 days after 4:30. The day they did not come was the day we were all snowed inside so the rooms needed to be cleaned/cleared out. Also made it worse that there was no working refrigerator. I think the broken refrigerators was intentional to make people order food.

The staff were very excited to have me as a guest. They made sure I got checked in quickly, had a valet read to park my car and attended to every request I had quickly.

We showed up 3 hours after our check-in time (mostly due to traffic) and we were told by the woman behind the desk that we needed to wait while she checked in with the maids to make sure the room was ready. We waited a good 15 minutes before another employee asked if he could help us and gave us the keys to our room. We also paid extra for a room with a balcony which was frozen shut by snow. We told the front desk and they sent someone up to take a look but he said there was nothing he could do. Why are we charging more money for balconies if they can't be used? The check out also said it was at 12pm and around 11:00 a maid came to our room knocking on the door asking when we would be leaving. I thought that was strange as well. I understand this must be a busy location but I would have thought it would have ran smoother than that.

Best vacation ever! Staff sorted out last min transportation. Gave great service and advice. Room was spotless, cleaned, and tidy daily. Really awesome breakfasts. And the hotel was in the perfect spot to go exploring even with a cane. Would stay again if given a chance.

Room very clean and comfortable, towels thick, plenty of them, comfortable beds, lots of comfy pillows. Also good lighting for reading in bed, thoughtfully placed separately for each bed. Bathroom good sized, and great shower, with shampoo and conditioner available. Staff were great and breakfast generous and varied. Fantastic location.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. I was able to get checked in 5 hours early with no additional cost. Location was perfect because it was within walking distance of the Brooklyn Bridge and is in the heart of downtown Brooklyn. The breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I’ve had and offered great variety with good quality food.

The staff are consistently kind and helpful I cannot express that enough love it here.

Room amenities were not property maintenance for restroom, not clean carpet in the room , no property change for clean bed sheets, room temperature was unstable no ventilators for humidity and no clean cabinets there was clothing found from previous guest.

Room was super clean. Small and hot at night but we were able to crack the window and we didn't expect a huge room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was excellent. Great location!

We had an amazing stay at this Hampton Inn! Our room was amazing and had the most stunning view of Manhattan. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay great. The location was great too, less than a 10 minute walk to the subway and one stop from lower Manhattan.

Hvac malfunction. They fixed asap but inconvenient

Noisy neighborhood; sound-proof quality was poor. We called in advance them to consider an earlier check-in, but didn't get one. Later on the day, even at 4pm(3pm was the regular check-in time), the room wasn't ready. Heater was not working in the December weather at New York; but fixed after 2hrs in the room. Breakfast was not good: even by 7am everything was cold. Bad coffee. Janitor service was good: they were very prompt in prepping the room and new toiletries each day.

Fletcher, Micah, Mallory, and Molly are awesome! Great customer service. The breakfast was solid, beds were not the most comfortable as they slid around on the platform, and William the GM has an attitude problem. Overall, positive experience and would recommend if you’re looking for cost effective lodging with good amenities and easy city access.

You really should search for a better waffle batter distribution product. Surely there has got to be better products on the market. As it stands, the product you currently use is awkward, messy and always running out of batter. The waffle makers are fine but the device used to distribute waffle batter, not so good at all, Note: I have stayed at the Hampton Inn in Brooklyn for 4 years, always at Thanksgiving.

The room was clean and breakfast was a great bonus. Only complaint: ice machine was on the basement floor and not on our floor.

Lovely room, great staff. Location is both a pro and a con.... Close to the Brooklyn Bridge and pretty centrally located. But also on a busy corner so it's VERY loud. Nothing earplugs and white noise couldn't overcome, but still worth mentioning. Overall a good experience and would stay again.

The breakfast and the staff are really the star of this hotel. It is evident that the rooms need renovations and some upgrades done, our bathroom was very outdated. However the staff that greeted up upon arrival was very sweet and accomodating. The breakfast is great and worth the stay. Please be advised the parking situation here is absolutely horrendous and overpriced as they are using a third party parking area.

The staff and room were great. The hotel is 10 mins from a few metro stations, and is walkable to the Brooklyn Bridge which we visited at sunrise. We had read some reviews about the breakfast not being good - the food itself was good, but everything is served on disposable plates/cutlery which made it feel worse than it otherwise would have been. Free teas and coffees all day, and a very comfy bed!

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was really good! My girlfriend actually misses the breakfast everyday now that we’re back home. The room was clean and service was excellent. The hotel has a texting system where you can just text the staff for any issues or requests. Would definitely stay here again if I have another trip.

A majority of my stay was great. Although the ice machine on my floor didn’t work so I had to go to another floor for ice, my fridge didn’t work properly and I lost some food to it and one of my lights in the bathroom wasn’t working properly.

Absolutely not worth the funds that y'all charged me. Initially, you put me in a room right above the street where I opened the window and saw a car accident directly in front of me. All kinds of unnecessary, disturbing noise. being in the room for 30 seconds. Move me to another room, and when you open the door, it closes so hard that it's about to take your fingers off. Doors in the cabinets were broken and hanging funny. Overall, the experience for the almost $500 y'all charged me was terrible value. Would not recommend it to my worst enemy. I subscribe a big huge F on my rating of this facility, my experience and overall. Needs and satisfaction. Do better next time, guys. OMG. It seems like y'all do this every single day, 365 days a year. Can't y'all do better? I challenge you to look into it. OMG.$500 for a room that was less than substandard.

The hotel was in an ideal and convenient location to most of the major NY hot spots. Also, Kai at the front desk was exceptional! We took a red eye and came in at 10AM and she recommended a nearby diner to have brunch at and when we came back our room was ready! Shoutout to her! My only complaint is that the honking was loud, not the hotels fault! But it took some getting used to!

Room was quiet and comfortable. Excellent food choice for breakfast, and coffee & tea bar was opened at all hours. Staff was friendly and helpful. Please offer reusable metal cutlery for your breakfast. It's annoying using plastic utensils and environmentally irresponsible. Tell corporate to get with it and offer metal utensils.

Was very satisfied with the hotel experience. The attached restaurant/bar is weak. This is not a deal breaker as there are many restaurant/bar options nearby, but it takes away from the overall experience of staying there.

I chose “pay at property” and they tried taking the money out that morning, before I even got there. So my bank saw it as fraud (because it was unauthorized) which caused me issues while checking in

The hotel is very well positioned for transport links and there’s also many facilities in the local area. The breakfast had many options, more so than other Hamptons we’d stayed in.

We enjoyed our stay there!

The room was small but fine. It was on the alley side which I didn't like. The room looked clean but the carpet smelled so bad it kept me awake at night. There was a deep funk. The shower was hot and had a strong spray but leaked onto the floor way past the bath mat, and when I wiped it up I slipped and fell. The folks who worked there were very efficient, kind and helpful, no complaints there. The area around the hotel was rather sketchy with some homeless. I didn't feel safe walking around late at night. There's a Starbucks, a convenience store and a restaurant right next to the hotel so that was nice. I think if you have something to do in the area the hotel is acceptable for the price.

Loud traffic, motorcycles and drifters racing all night, constant horns, and sirens. Got little sleep. AC needs a new thermostat. Either freezing or heating. Fridge didn't work. Restaurant was ok.

I liked how close to the Brooklyn Bridge we were. Breakfast was so good! I enjoyed waking up knowing my breakfast was going to fuel me for a busy day in the city.

It was very easy to travel via subway and Uber. Short walk to shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed the free morning breakfast bar and the 24 hour coffee. The only negative was that I had made a reservation for a New York City view room and they issued us a room with only a partial view to nearby buildings.

The Hampton Inn downtown Brooklyn was very close to the Brooklyn Bridge. It is a great location if you plan on crossing over to Manhattan. However, it is not a good location if you want to feel like you are in the heart of Brooklyn with shopping and dining. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and helpful in every aspect of checking in, breakfast, checking out and holding bags. Having a restaurant and bar on site was also very nice.

This was our first stay at this Hampton, and we were very pleased with our experience. Our room was on the 14th floor and was in a quiet area. We had a comfortable bed, nice size TV, large bathroom, refrigerator, safe, very good breakfast foods, and AC controls we could adjust easily. The staff was efficient and friendly. It’s convenient to subway and bus access and close to LGA. We will stay here again.

We love staying at Hampton Inns. They always have a great breakfast buffet with a great selection. This room was a little smaller side, but it was ok. The subway station is only about 10 min away with great connections to all major sites in New York. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
