Central position The room was incredibly noisy because huge air conditioning motors were situated just outside the window, that could not be opened. The noise prevented us to sleep properly. We asked to change room, but they denied. On top of this, the room was not housekeeped the second day. The breakfast room was incredibly cold and unpleasant.
- 5/5
Smooth and comfortable. Solid breakfast too!

Superb location, close to subway. Pleasant personal. This was good value for money.

Great location. Walkable to time Square and local shopping areas.
- 3/5
While the staff was amazing, the hotel itself lacks the vibe. Small rooms can be accepted considering the location but everything in the room is dated. From switches to beds to aircon, even the taps .. everything is old and doesnt feels like worth the money paid.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very easy to get around Manhattan as there was a subway station very close nearby, about a 3 minute walk. The hotel itself is well maintained and I found the rooms to be a good size. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend hotel.

The view, the bar, and the room were incredible! My boyfriend and I visited for our anniversary and they spent extra time laying out rose petals and folding the towels into swans. It was an incredible experience. Close to everything in Time Square and a quick walk to all of the Broadway Theatres. Not to mention, the bartender was so kind and personable. I’d give more than five stars if I could. I will absolutely be staying again.
- 0.5/5
The location and cleanliness of the room. On arrival, elevators were not clean. We were missing towels in the bathroom. We tried to take a nap after a 6-hour drive, but the various loud noises would not allow such rest. The AC unit in the room is unbelievably noisy, even when it’s just the fan working without the compressor. The elevator shaft was right behind our room walls, so every time an elevator passes by our floor a loud jet-like noise filled the room, barely allowing any sleep even at night. When we complained, the reception’s easy fix was to move us to another room but only to change the kind of noise, as the room we were offered was facing the street on the 3rd floor, warning us that there will probably be street noise. Moreover, rooms are tiny and it’s a terrible value for money
- 4/5
The room was a bit small for my liking but understandable given my budget and the location preference. We stayed there for 2 nights and it was in an accessible location to the Midtown spots that we wanted to visit.

Room is very close to 42 port authority bus terminal, easy access to JFK airport from here. Suggestion to have an option for early check-in around 11 am.

The hotel locates at very convenient location, closer to several metro lines. It's also not that expensive comparing to other places. We did not get the breakfast option but there are many famous bagel places close by. There is tasty peach ice tea every time we went back to the hotel! na

Very convenient location and all of staff were amazing! The bar was not open the night of our stay.
- 1.5/5
The staff were very lovely and welcoming. The room was fine, very small and basic but to be expected in New York. The location was very good, a short walk to Times Square and to the subway. The noise, every room in the hotel is very close to the lifts, our room 1705 was next to the lifts and the room vibrated very loudly every time the lift went up and down, which was constantly. I slept very little for the 3 nights we stayed at the hotel.
- 2.5/5
The hotel is in great location, staff is good and the premises are clean. The room King bed was unfortunately very small.
- 5/5
Nicole greeted us promptly on a rainy day! She honestly made our trip so worth it and an overall great experience. Literally putting us at ease. The buffet breakfast was honestly so fresh and customer service- as a Texan I have to say Rahman was so attentive and kind to us during our stay. Staff was more than ready to help anytime of day, with a smile. We would step out and comeback to a clean room with the beds made. Willing to hold your bags before or after checkout!! Rare in NY in my opinion
- 5/5
We had a great experience!

The staff was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing...including the staff.
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk and the bistro were all very friendly and helpful. Th bar wasn't open the night of my stay at the hotel. We were planning to have drinks at the hotel bar after seeing a show, but that was not an option.
- 5/5
Our stay at the penthouse was amazing. The views were incredible… room and hotel were fresh and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The hotel was a great find. It’s very walkable to Times Square. To get a subway or taxi it is great. Everyone pre visit and during were so helpful. We would definitely stay there the next time in NYC
- 5/5
Right off a very busy part of town, close to Times Square, but the room was nice and quiet. Staff was very friendly!
- 4/5
The location suited us very well for what we wanted to see and do. The staff was extraordinary and the facility was clean Being right downtown in the garment district, it’s BUSY and NOISY. The building is narrow and tall, typical for this part of town. With only 8 rooms per floor and 3 elevators, there was no escaping the sound of the elevator cabs and cables running up and down late into the night.
- 5/5
Definitely recommend
- 4/5
Travelled as a family and opted for the suite/penthouse room as it wasn’t much more than the standard room so it felt huge compared to most NYC hotel rooms. Room was well maintained by housekeeping while we were there. Bring your OWN pillows because what they offer feels more like few pieces of cotton balls in a bag, which leads me to the blight on our stay. Called down for some extra pillows at 9pm, was told they’ll be brought up soon. 20 mins go by, nothing so called again, spoke to a different person at the front desk who said the same thing, they’ll have housekeeping bring them up. Another 20 mins go by, nothing, call again, a third different person answers and says the same thing. After an hour after the first call, I get dressed and go downstairs to confront the front desk staff. There were 3 of them behind the desk all doing different things. It’s only after I came down already irate because we’ve waited an hour for pillows for my kids to sleep that I’m told housekeeping has left for the day and they can’t find any other pillows in this big hotel. The assistant manager did comp breakfast for us as an apology only after I made a fuss about the service we got from them including her. So depending on who’s running the desk on your stay, you could get the D-team who couldn’t organize a bun fight in a bakery. Breakfast was decent and standard American hotel breakfast with zero to little nutritional value. We had a decent stay overall but too many other options to go back
- 3.5/5
There was a men serving and picking up empty dishes at the breakfast and he kept asking me questions like "where are you from" and "how long will you stay" and kept coming back to my table all the time. That made me uncomfortable.
- 5/5
It was good.

Front desk really do not have a clue. I was early and check-in was not until 3 pm, which is fine. But I waited for two hours and saw two men who checked in after me, one did so 20 minutes after I had been helped, and they were notified before me that their rooms were ready. I then went up to ask what is going on and they said, oh, a room is now ready. If I had not bothered to approach them, I would still be waiting. Incompetent front desk staff, you get what you pay for with this hotel. And they saw me sitting there in their lobby for two hours and did nor said anything.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff was VER friendly and helpful. Love that there is a smoking section out front for guests. The Vending machines could use a bit more variety.

Affordable, but dated hotel. Good location.
- 5/5
Another big plus is the proximity to NY Penn Station, about a 10-minute walk, which made getting around very convenient. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Breakfast was not included with the room and it was expensive. Overall, a great choice for location, comfort, and service in NYC.
- 5/5
This hotel it’s perfect it’s located in a very accessible area close to subways for easy access around the city. The hotel it’s the rooms were kind of small might feel crowded with more than 3 people per room. But otherwise the room was clean no real issues. The staff it’s very friendly and accommodating.

Great
- 4/5
The hotel’s location was excellent and very convenient. While it is an older-style property, it has been well maintained, though it could benefit from some updates. The double-bed rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but they were clean, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming.
- 4/5
Room was close to elevator shaft. So, it was noisy
- 5/5
Great location next to Port Authority. Good value for NYC.
- 4/5
The staff was informative and polite, very helpful with directions and ideas. It was a nice stay. Just pack light for the walk between the hotel and parking, even if it’s the one the next street over.

- 4/5

- 5/5
Good stay, close to everything you need
- 4/5
The location was ideal for going to plays, great restaurants, and public transportation. The room was ample. The price was competitive. Only 1 or 3 elevators were working which made for long waits.
- 5/5
Awesome location for Javits and Broadway shows. The room was not as cramped as others in the city, and had enough space for work. Wonderful housekeeping. Close to a main subway station and just about anything you'd want.
- 5/5
Easy parking, great service, and clean room
- 5/5
Very nice staff, great location
- 5/5
Clean and quiet for nyc
- 5/5
Good location for Javitz Center events. Two week stay in mid February; staff, especially reception/front desk was exceptionally courteous except for the dining staff, (rude on several occasions). Room was cleaned each day without needing to request and everything was tidy. Elevators are a bit antiquated and have some malfunctions but work fine overall - unless traffic is heavy (mainly mornings).
- 5/5
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and breakfast being included was an added bonus.

The entire staff at this hotel was remarkable. The price to stay here for 4 nights with kids was affordable and worth it. The accommodations of restaurant and bar available to purchase food despite cold weather outside was very convenient. I would definitely go back and book with this hotel again.

First the good- very good location, decently priced, very clean, room service staff excellent,Kevin proper new yorker, I think he was security/greeter top guy always pleasant. THE BAD- I am south asian, brown - i think this matters here. Front desk staff, receptionist no pleasantries, no hello, how are you how’s your stay, worse by far is the old guy with the mask- I needed to extend my stay, he almost told me off, the rest of them just couldn’t be bothered HOWEVER- I noticed White guests or Spanish: European guests, different story, They couldn’t Be anymore pleasant, greetings, how are you’s, conversations the lot, that being said All african American staff were very pleasant to me and my son at all times. The worst by far though were the restaurant staff, older woman, younger girl and a South asian guy called Rehman, they couldn’t have had any more contempt for us, Rehman wouldn’t even have the courtsey of eye contact let alone anything verbal, but again if you were white, european white/olive he was all over them like a rash, a very good hotel let down by certain staff, If you are south asian or appear to be south Asian dont go here, and for this reason i would never stay here again.

- 5/5
Front desk very nice, loved our room and view
- 5/5
Room spotlessly clean and staff extremely polite and engaging
- 5/5
Great stay for a couple. The room was spacious (especially by NYC standards), had a nice view of Times Square and great shower pressure. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The onsite breakfast was great for the value. The hotel is located right in the heart of everything and is an easy walk to all your essentials. I’d definitely stay again.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. Staff was friendly.
- 2/5
The front desk lady was very kind to let us check in early. She did warn us we would get a room on a low floor and that was okay! However after we checked in a few hours later, we notice there were dirty napkins under the bed? We were only staying for one night and by this time it was already pretty late. So we let it go. Then the next morning trying to take a shower. The water wouldn’t fluctuate temperature. So I called the front desk and they sent maintenance immediately but, they couldn’t fix it. Also the sink water wouldn’t fluctuate in temperature either. And it was leaking? Regardless the front desk was informed and no compensation was even offered? Truly disappointed.
- 4/5
Convenient to transportation and felt safe. Lobby wasn't amazing but great value!
- 4/5
Staff was super kind and able to help us check-in early! The beds were somewhat uncomfortable and the building would benefit from some updates.
- 5/5
The customer service was amazing. Chloe and Nicole went above and beyond. Helping an old lady and her grandson navigate the city. And they surprised me by decorating my room for my 65th birthday. I will be back.
- 5/5
The room and the bathroom were spotless, which is usually my number one concern. I felt comfortable walking barefooted and that makes all the difference on wether the dart is nice or not. It was great!
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great location, staff was great including bartender!
- 2/5
The room on the 20th floor was a decent size but very dated. The bedside sconces were hung so high you had to get out of bed to turn on and off and they were bright and not dimmable The bathroom configuration was awkward as well. The glass shelf over the toilet was falling off the wall. The bed was comfortable but the wooden headboard needs to be cleaned between guests. The restaurant was hidden down a hallway and only served a breakfast buffet at $20 per person and a very limited, pricey menu for the bar area. The WORST thing though was the noise inside the room at 20 floors up- you could hear the subway below, the elevator and the neighboring rooms. This did not feel like I would expect for a Sheraton/ Marriot Bonvoy stay.
- 5/5
Very good !
- 5/5
Everything from check in to check out was perfect. All the staff was courteous and very helpful with questions and directions. Room was spacious enough for the 4 of us. Really thought it would be smaller being in midtown. Beds were comfortable and clean. Easy access to Times Square (short walk), subway, food and gift shops. Very satisfied with our stay.

Front desk staff were helpful and professional. I did not like being on the second floor because my room had absolutely no view of the outside. The window glass was smoky white and you couldn't see anything. I suggest requesting a higher up room, so you can at least have a view of something.
- 4/5
Did not use breakfast buffet
- 5/5
Valet parking is the way to go. Front desk very efficient and helpful. They kept my luggage there until I came back at the end of the day.

I had a great stay overall. The room was very clean and comfortable, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help, which really made the experience even better. The amenities were well maintained and convenient, adding extra comfort to the stay. I would definitely recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Nicest hotel staff I’ve ever met. They were all so happy. They truly made the experience. If I could bottle their positive energy I would! Thanks!
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet facility/hallways.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was beyond courteous. I got there name in hopes they get recognition. Nicole,Chole, Anton, Kevin, Jackie. I had 3 small high energy boys and they were all so kind and helpful with getting them settled. We were there for the Thanksgiving Day Parade and Nicole and Chole help decide the clothes to wear being outdoors waiting for the parade to start. The room was very clean . I didn't smell any hint of cigarette smoke in the halls. the only issue was the security guard ,He was rough asking me for a key as soon as I walked in. I told him I was a "guest" and he didn't believe me he tried to halt my way to the desk. I was with my 2 young kids. It was 5am. The overnight front desk guy instantly confirmed we were guest. The hotel was an absolute GREAT STAY!
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Could you better lighting out front at night.

- 5/5

- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 1/5
The noise continued on the second night. A different maintenance worker came and immediately agreed the sound was extremely disturbing. Only then did the front desk acknowledge the issue. The supervisor said we could change rooms the next day and that we would get a half-price rate for the night we were staying in the noisy room. However, they refused to compensate the first night, claiming the first worker had given a different explanation. After moving, we still heard loud noise from the elevator shaft. My child had accidentally left his pajamas in the previous room, and although we called less than half a day after checking out of that room—staff said no one had seen it. The new room also had drainage problems; after a short shower, water would rise and cover our feet. Overall, the hotel failed to provide basic comfort, and staff handled the situation inconsistently. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
- 5/5

The room was very clean and a good size for two people. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. And the breakfast buffet was delicious and larger than we had expected! Great bacon and eggs especially. Also, the location of the hotel right next to Port Authority was perfect since we came by bus. Would recommend to anyone!

Nicole, front desk agent was a pleasure she felt like a long time friend. She was friendly & helpful, my flight got in early and they accommodated me with an earlier check in and before that they checked my bags so I could sight see till the room was ready. Great location 8mins to time square walking distance. Room was clean & comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff were welcoming and answered all our questions. Gave us information of coffee shops in the area. Shout out to Nicole and Adam for making our stay a memorable one.
- 4/5
Within walking distance of Times Square. Room looked and felt clean. Water pressure was good. AC worked well but a little loud. Beds were hard, so if you have to sleep on soft mattresses I would probably look elsewhere. Overall worth the price compared to other hotels around.

It would’ve been nice to have a microwave in our room, and an ice machine closer since our room was on the 30th floor
- 2/5
Everything was fine until I needed to check out a day prior and was refused check out base upon how I booked and then he stated out loud that I booked through Expedia so I won’t get a refund and a few other things.
- 2/5
The hotel is not comfortable. The shower floor is very dirty. The noises from outside and the guests from the next door are very disturbing. I will not stay in the hotel again nor recommend.

- 3/5
The mattresses are run down
- 3/5
Room needs to be properly clean AND air conditioning system not working
- 5/5
There was a clean room and staff was great.
- 4/5
Staff and location was good. The AC unit was noisy and didn't cool the room well so constantly needed to run.
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 3/5
The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is dark and dreary.
- 5/5
Breakfast
- 4/5
It was ok
- 5/5
The front office staff were excellent. We were met with a very cheerful and upbeat pair of young ladies. check-in was a breeze, which was great after our long journey. The room was clean and a nice size for a midtown Manhattan hotel. We loved the convenience of being able to walk everywhere. The breakfast room team were efficient. Breakfast was what you would typically see at an holiday inn. Although we were only there for one night, we enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Great property close to all the action in NYC near Times Square. We stay here every 3 months when we take the train to NYC. The staff is always super friendly and they gave us great advice about taking the train to the US Open Instead of an uber. Will continue to stay at this great property which also has great views of the city depending on which floor you stay on. The upper floors have the best views of course.
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Great location.
- 5/5
Clean rooms, friendly staff, near plenty of restaurants, transportation, and things to do.
- 5/5
Great location with access to Autobusses Station snd subway.
- 1/5
it took the front desk forever to deliver stuff, and the elevator also took so long. anyways there are better choices in the same area w/ similar prices.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Very close to time square
- 2/5
They never clean my room. I called several times, stayed four nights, and my room was cleaned only once, no matter how many times I put the clean room " sign. I even talked to the cleaning person, and she never showed up to clean my room. Awful experience
- 4/5
Good location
- 5/5
The staff is outstanding. The breakfast is delicious. Would go back.
- 5/5
Checking was very easy and fast. I love it
- 3/5
It was overall okay. The location is convenient. But for this price per night, I'd expect the staff to be more trained and service to be much better. Please educate your staff (especially the front desk ones) about how to treat a paying customer.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Clean and quiet rooms
- 5/5
Lots of noise around but also, it’s New York! The breakfast buffet was expensive.
- 5/5
Excellent location
- 4/5

- 5/5
one of my go to hotels. It’s always great
- 5/5
Great place for staying when visiting NY on a budget. The breakfast was great and the location is super centric with Times Square within minutes from the hotel. There is also a subway station right around the corner. This hotel is super clean in all areas. All in all, it is a great affordable place to stay in NYC. Will stay again at this location on my next trip.
- 5/5
Nice rooms, staff helpful. They have cucumber water every day in the lobby. Enjoyed the location to many things and easy walk to other places.
- 4/5
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Its in the perfect location if you're taking the bus and want to be located walking distance away from theaters and times sq. Lots of restaurants and things to do....the rooms were decent and clean...bed was comfortable. Great for a long weekend getaway. My only complaint is the strong scent of air freshner when you enter the lobby. It was really strong...it made me wonder what odor they were trying to cover...perhaps smells coming from the street outside. Not sure...thankfully the strong freshner was only in the lobby and not in the room. Despite that issue it wasnt a deal breaker for me, I'd still stay there again.
- 5/5
Would definitely stay again. Enjoyed proximity to theater district and overall walkability.
- 5/5
The receptionist was very kind and helpful would definitely come again

Great welcoming and helpful customer service. Clean and comfortable room.
- 4/5
The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Check-in was smooth, and I appreciated the warm welcome after a long day of travel. The room was clean and comfortable, with all the essentials for a good night’s rest. That said, the building itself is showing its age and could benefit from some updates. While everything was functional, a renovation would really elevate the guest experience and bring the property in line with the modern standards of the Sheraton brand. Still, for the price and location, it’s a solid choice—especially if you value great service and easy access to the heart of Manhattan.
- 5/5
From an early check in, to a city view upgrade upgrade, to a late check out...the staff at FPTS are willing to go the extra mile to ensure your stay with them is as enjoyable and stress free as possible. The front desk staff are friendly and willing to help whenever they can with whatever you need. If you're looking for understated luxury on a budget, this is your place! Great service, clean and comfortable rooms with a personal touch of hospitality that won't hurt your wallet. You get the best of both worlds!!!

- 4/5

- 5/5
Great place for our quick stay! Front desk personnel was so wonderful and friendly and our room was great!
- 4/5
The hotel is in a great location for sightseeing. There are endless restaurants and any type of food you can imagine. Staff was great and the room was a bit bigger than your typical NY hotel room.
- 4/5
Our AC was broken - it made a loud sound and the cover was broken
- 4/5
We visited NY for our daughter's 16th birthday. It was the first for all of us. The staff was nice and our housekeeper, breakfast attendants, and the bartender were exceptional. At breakfast, they were patient with my daughter being daef and the bartender kept us entertained. I wish I could remember there names! But the air conditioning could be a little colder! The down side to the visit had nothing to do with the hotel stay. You all did great!
- 5/5
Excellent place
- 4/5
Very clean and convenient property
- 2/5
I paid extra for a city view and hardly have a view. The windows are tiny and dirty- not worth it in the slightest. I’m really upset for paying extra. It takes 20 min to get an elevator.
- 5/5
Its good
- 5/5
Excellent service and high profesional staff.
- 5/5
Fantastic staff. Great breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
First time to New York and we couldnt have picked a better place to stay. Perfect for every reason. Ill see you again.

It’s a great place, very close to Times Square metro making the transport very convenient

We enjoyed our stay! The hotel is conveniently located to a variety of coffee shops, eateries, as well as, subway access, theaters and Times Square. Nicole was the most helpful at the front desk. Thank you for a great experience for our first time in NYC!
- 3/5
It is located in the middle of everything.
- 4/5
Hotel staff were welcoming and helpful. Had a really nice quick meal from the bar, and clean, relaxing space. Convenient to Times Square/theater district.
- 5/5
Wonderful Marriott staff, nice room, decent facility. Near port authority which unfortunately is a magnet for homeless people and characters harassing you for money. NY is not safe and no police presence. The hotel’s fine. NY is not.
- 3/5
The room was too small . There was hardly any space to move around inside the room .
- 5/5
It is close from everything subway included, the room was very very nice sooo clean and the lady that cleans is very lovely... all staff is very nice
- 4/5
Muy buen hotel, y mucho mejor el personal de la recepción.
- 5/5
Very centric, friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Excellent!
- 3/5
Very convenient location- lots to see and do in the area. The hotel itself needs maintenance. I consistently heard noises (for example pounding and other sounds) when in the bathroom. The noises came from a different room. It was very unsettling.
- 5/5
Neat and easy access place near Times Square
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great. It was very walkable to several highlights and subway so we had a great time getting around town.
- 4/5

- 3/5
Across from the best station.
- 5/5
This hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable size for Manhatten, conveniently located, decent gym, and economically priced. Bar was never open but there are 400 bars within blocks. Nice views as well.
- 4/5
In town to see The New York Liberty. This location was convenient to the subway and getting to other parts of the city. The hotel is basic but clean. Most of the staff were nice and they did fix issues with my room right away which is superior customer service.
- 4/5
Very convenient location, decent size and price, no bathrobe included in our room though. Great view of the Empire State Building from our room on the 30th floor.
