Airport shuttle was on time and convenient. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Staff were polite & helpful. Room smell a bit musky and refrigerator was not working properly. Staff were helpful, cooperative and changed our room ensuring we were comfortable and our needs met.

Beds were comfortable not much interaction with the staff ate the complimentary breakfast provided which was normal hotel food! did take the shuttle to return the airport for the next flight in the morning the shuttle driver was very nice and engaged in conversation Shuttle stops running at 12 midnight was at the pick- point at 11:45 pm was told had to take a Uber. Shuttle was done for the night I was not happy

I checked in late ( 10pm) and checked out early (7am), so my stay was short. The staff was friendly & helpful re: the shuttle in the AM. Check-in was fast, they include breakfast. My room was really clean, which I appreciated. They have ice machines on every floor. The shuttle left right on time at 7am on the hour as scheduled, it was full so I'm glad they rtold me to come 10 - 15 min prior to departure so i could get a seat. Its a very short ride to JFk and VERY CONVENIENT. I will definitely stay here again. Much better than worrying about traffic in the AM form the city to JFK, I slept easier knowing it was a 5 min drive.

This property is in urgent need of upgrade. Room was smelly from dirty disgusting carpets. Could not breath. We could not open the windows to get some fresh air because the property stands on the highway and air outside was no better than inside. Unless you are desperate - do not stay there.

Parking is an inconvenience at this hotel. It is "valet only" and a customer can figure in approx $55 extra cost for their room price between the cost of the valet parking ($45) and giving the valet attendants a tip on drop off and pick up. That cost would increase dramatically if staying multiple days here.

I had to walk down in my pjs to get decaf Also front desk gave me caffeinated coffee and not decaf I had to return it and she tried giving me caffeinated and I had to tell her I needed the ones in orange. If she read the package she would have got it right the first time. Definitely not focused on anything she was doing and not the best hotel representative.

Staff was helpful. Shuttle bus was easy to use. The drivers were knowledgeable about the airport. I wish there had been an earlier breakfast option for those with an early flight. But all in all I was happy with the stay!

The front desk was a bit sassy at check in. They promise a free shuttle, which I why I booked the hotel, but there is only one shuttle to the airport per hour, and this morning the shuttle could not take everyone who wanted to go at the crucial time of 6 am.

Basic stay — for those who need to overnight at JFK AIRPORT for early or connecting flights. Staff was great — but no amenities in a highway bound property

The room. Right size as a solo traveller. Large enough that it provided comfort without filling "too big". View, but that can't be helped. This is my third time staying here. Given the opportunity, will do so again.

The hotel is clean and recently renovated. The bedroom is medium-sized with brand-new furnishings, and the bathroom is also new. The staff are friendly. I arrived at the hotel by taxi, but for my departure to the airport, I left using the hotel's car service. Overall, I recommend staying at this hotel.

I had to catch an early shuttle out and they left right on time. That’s important for a hotel when you’re trying to book a flight or catch a flight at the right time. Another thing although my shuttle was early, the lady told me that Coffee was ready, there were apples, muffins, coffee, and tea, ready to go for those who couldn’t catch the free breakfast in the morning. I thought that was a unique touch.

Put in a handicapped access room with a chair in the shower stall, never ask for that or wanted that!

Our stay at the Fairfield Inn by Marriott JFK Airport was very convenient for a short layover. The staff was friendly and efficient, and check-in was quick even though we arrived very late. Everything was ready for us, which made the experience smooth. The room was clean and perfectly adequate for a few hours of rest. The main downside was the AC unit, which was quite noisy and slightly impacted our sleep.

Welcoming check in, clean updated room, quiet stay, nice selections for breakfast. The location was a bit sketchy but that is out of the control of the hotel.

The sink water was warmer than the shower. If you want a hot shower, don’t book here. There was also this terrible constant clicking sound in the room, sounded like an off balance ceiling fan, but there’s no fan. It did not stop.

Convenient Breakfast was mediocre, but on par with expectations

I was surprised by how nice this airport hotel was. They let me check in a little early which was extra nice. Calling for the shuttle was easy and quick. Breakfast doesn't open until 6:30. I had to leave at like 3:30 am. They kindly had coffee, muffins and bananas available and even got me something extra when I asked. That made a huge difference! So big props to the early morning breakfast lady!

We made our reservation as a place to stay between flights, so our plan was to spend the day at the hotel. When we arrived we discovered the TV did not work. A call to the front desk resulted in a quick response; however the tv could not repaired. The front desk promptly arranged for us to move to a room nearby. This was very thoughtful. Nothing

The rooms were ready at a good time, which was convenient. The bathrooms were nice, I like that the shower and bathroom had actual doors on them and not the god awful barn doors. One staff member was a little rude to me when I asked for assistance with something, but then they helped me and were kind so it is okay.

I left this morning and breakfast included . Don’t complain that they don’t have a restaurant please . Think of the bigger picture. Plus I liked AC and HEAT all in one that way I don’t have keep buzzing the front desk for heat or cool air .

Everything was fine, except only one side of the bed had power to charge a phone. Also, the ac/heater startled us all night, each time it kicked on.

Convenient for staying and parking our vehicle for a early flight out of JFK. It was clean and updated, but the bed was the worst I've ever slept on. Both my husband and I didn't sleep more than a hour the whole night. Neither did the other couple we were traveling with. I would never stay at this hotel again for this reason. Room was warm and cozy as I walked in from working an 11 hour shift. The bed was so amazingly comfertable I felt like I was sleeping in clouds! I was able to sleep roughly 12 hrs. The bathroom is beautiful the shower was invigorating and the included breakfast was delicious and so healthy. Very convenient location!

The receptionist on checking in was very good .Room as expected standard for a Marriott. Bed very comfortable bathroom excellent.Small problem with the heating it's very noisy and as tea drinkers would have liked a kettle we asked but unfortunately not available.The Burger King is only minutes away but getting across the roads is problematic using the pedestrian crossing the drivers here in New York have F1 driving tenandecies.We would definitely recommend one night if like us you have a Cruise next day but if you are here for sight seeing perhaps look at other Marriott's that are more central.Oh nearly forgot there is a courtesy bus that pick you up at the Airport which was appreciated...

Not great dining options in the area but no reflection on the hotel which was very clean and the room was spacious enough for our needs which a clean, modern bathroom. We got a taxi from the airport to the hotel but used the free hotel shuttle back to the airport at 5am - all round, a good experience.

Checking in for the airport shuttle was simple, and they had fruit and coffee available for early birds. The heater for the room was horribly loud and kept waking me up... which was good, because neither the 4am nor 430am wakeup calls happened.

I love the fact the whole hotel was very clean. I love the breakfast area. I like the fact that there was a smoking option in the parking lot outback. My room was with a couch. I enjoyed the extra space. I always enjoy the fact that it has a microwave and refrigerator and a coffee pot And the complementary shuttle as well. And lastly, you have the most amazing staff on duty. I cannot compliment them enough on how knowledgeable they are in their job and how welcoming they are to the hotel. I will be back many times again.

We stayed for three nights. While the hotel is generally fine, no one cleaned our room for the entire stay. We talked to the front desk, spoke directly to housekeeping and asked them to clean our room. They all said yes, and yet nothing. No towels, trash not taken out, bed never made for three nights.

Let's face it - this is an airport hotel in a so-so part of Queens. Our expectations were fairly low. But we were pleasantly surprised that the bedding & bathroom were immaculately clean and the building's noise proofing worked well despite being located on a busy street. The bed was pretty comfy too, though after the redeye from London we could have slept on a bed of nails.

Our pickup started the list of negatives - we were not able to contact the hotel to arrange for a pickup. We ended up taking another Marriott affiliated shuttle only to be told that they could not provide transportation to our hotel. Ended up calling an Uber for the short ride over (less than a mile). Also, paid over $500/night for a substandard room. Checking the advertised rates they had dropped significantly from our original booking months ago - less than half of our rate. And on top of that, the room smelled like mold - a strong musty odor. Extremely disappointing with this aspect of our trip - usually have outstanding experience with Marriott properties but will be thinking twice about using them on our next trip through New York.

When I was at the dining room, a crazy man was yelling all the time.Even he was fighting with staff. Fortunately ploce came and controlled the man. It was quite unsafe in the hotel.

We were placed in a basement room which was ok apart from a generator which was very noisy and came on every half hour or so for about 20 minutes. getting a reasonable nights sleep was impossible

Staff was absolutely fantastic and friendly! Every single person was polite and helpful. Hotel was clean and had people cleaning all the time. Breakfast had hot and cold items so that was nice. Great spot if you’re flying in and out of JFK on a short trip. Oh there was service 24hrs and snacks etc you could purchase 24hrs. The area around it probably isn’t the safest and a little loud however that’s what you get next to airports typically highways and such - the location made getting to JFK incredibly easy though and that’s why

Hotel itself wasn’t bad but very limited on what they offered. Bed comfortable and quiet which was great. Room and shower was small, only 2 bottles of water on arrival and required to pay for more if needed. Safe in room not working so no point in having it there. They should have coffee and tea available throughout the day (it ends with breakfast service at 9.30). Area not good, very sketchy, felt unsafe to walk. Nothing around so very inconvenient.

airport transport takes too long to get to the hotel from JFK, so we took a taxi.

Staff were friendly, but their accented English made communication difficult at times. Breakfast was somewhat limited (no fruit at all, for example), but reasonably tasty. If a bargain hotel is needed, convenient to JFK is needed, this will suffice.

Super hotel. Not in a neighborhood for walking around but if you’re just needing an overnight near the airport, this is a good choice.

Helpful staff, healthy breakfast options and clean room with comfy bed!

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night while attending a family event. The check-in process was efficient, and the front desk staff was both professional and welcoming. The accommodations were clean and well-maintained. The only minor drawback was the absence of a full-length mirror in our room. However, this did not detract from our overall positive experience. I would certainly consider staying here again in the future. Thank you for the hospitality.

Spent one night to catch a flight in the morning. Reception staff wasn't overly friendly but definitely quick to check-in and check-out. Bottles of water were given to us upon arrival. The lady putting out the continental breakfast welcomed me to take some items even though it was at least 2 hours prior to breakfast hours. Felt very safe staying and keeping my car here for the night. Great stay!!

I am grateful for Marriott Bonvoy presence by JFK while unexpectedly had to find an overnight hotel. The area is not the place you would want to check in and pay 400$ for an overnight stay. The sheets were clean and the comforter the pleasant Marriott pledge. The bathroom counters and everything in the bathroom was old and efforts to probably to sanitize the place left an unpleasant uninviting fragrance in the room. I appreciated the water bottles.

Clean and fresh smelling. Close to airport so convenient for travel. Substantial breakfast and gluten free muffins available. Staff let the hotel down and are not responsive with queries. None of the emails or digital systems they use like early check in were working, but it’s was very clean and well appointed and is return.

Nice hotel. Stayed one night due to late international flight from JFK. Wish there were some food options within walking distance.

Quiet, safe with good amenities

Modern hotel, very convenient for one night transition to JFK airport. Shuttle service is ideal, staff were great, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast served is simple and convenient. Room had a king size bed, was very clean and tidy, with little noise despite the location.

Arrived late , was hoping to something to eat but the dining room was closed and the breakfast was very poor

Location was close to the airport, but the airport construction allowed a taxi driver to take advantage of us by taking a longer route to the hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff but our AC did not work well and was very noisy. We were too exhausted to complain.

Communication was good, especially since there is construction going on at the airport that affects shuttle service. I received a very detailed email a day or two prior to check in that offered clear directions about using the AirTran. I also spoke with a desk clerk on the phone about my late arrival and they further clarified arrival transportation (we took public transportation in from Grand Central Station). Upon check in the desk clerk was also very clear about morning transportation to the airport. They didn't have shuttle service at the moment but were providing free Lyft pick-ups and drop-offs which was very efficient and worked well. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Though a very limited stay, it met our travel needs very well.

Where our room was situated, there were several families staying next to us that were leaving at four in the morning, they really really loud and woke us up. Going back-and-forth to different rooms and slamming the door talking loud. It was very frustrating.

It was a brief stay. I was in my room for 5 hours. Had to catch a flight early in the morning ! The room was clea, had a comfy bed.

The room was fine. The shuttle took over an hour and the shuttle was dirty and broken windshield and scary really. They overbooked the morning shuttle and were nice enough to get us a taxi. I don’t think I’d stay here again although the staff was very nice.

They didn't even have a regular sized towel in the bathroom. I realized it after the shower! The pickup took 45 minutes from airport, check in always sucks from that because a bunch of people get in line at once. I like staying at the TWA hotel, but it was sold out. I expect better for the price point and location.

This is a perfectly comfortable place to spend the night before a flight. Only caveats: there's no restaurant (although a rather unpromising-looking Chinese restaurant over the road, open till 1 am, proved to be surprisingly good); and there's only one shuttle an hour, which is a pity. But other than that, it was just what was needed.

The bathroom was really clean. All amenities were in the room. Didn’t need to ask for anything. Chose this hotel for convenience to airport. The shuttle driver was very knowledgeable about the airport traffic. He made my trip to the airport non stressful since I was going to a terminal that was closed for renovations

Room was clean and comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was appreciated with a generous selection and a friendly staff member on duty keeping everything topped up. Downside was the difficulty we had in contacting the shuttle/hotel to collect us from the airport but resolved in the end. (Take the Airtrain to Federal Circle and call from there ) Hourly shuttle back from the hotel to JFK worked out great, staff very helpful with luggage.

The hotel was ideal for our purpose to stay overnight and return to JFK airport the following morning for our early onward flight. The shuttle bus service provided by the hotel was also very efficient and helpful.
