Reviews
The hotel is praised for its central location and friendly staff, but guests frequently complain about the slow and limited elevator service. The rooms are generally described as clean and comfortable, but some guests have reported issues with noise and maintenance.

Close to every thing! Very small lobby so could get very crowded while waiting but the staff still did their best!

Very friendly staff a combating and perfect location.

The location is great. Walking to many sites was very easy. Subway is very close as well. The front desk staff were very helpful in switching my room and the cleaning staff made sure extra items were available if you needed anything.
- 4/5
Our stay was excellent except the A/C unit in our room was right next to the bed and the fan blew on me whenever it was on. No issue with elevators except a small wait when many people were checking in and the restaurant was getting deliveries.

- 4/5
The location was perfect because I went to a show at Radio City which is just across the street. I walked to Central Park, walked 5th Ave and walked to the MOMA. I took an Uber to the Lower East side for an event, but took the subway back which was faster and low cost. The restaurant was also nice. I only had breakfast, but the eggs were poached perfectly, and the fresh air terrace experience was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable for 5'4" 125 There could have been more towels provided, and the coffee set up was short on sugar and creamers. It was a little skimpy for someone who really likes coffee in the room first thing.

Mohamed and the rest of the staff were excellent. Room was very clean.the bed was super comfortable .Location is terrific. -

Location. Because of proximity to Radio City, difficult to drop off bags.
- 4/5
Staff let me into my room early when I arrived. They upgraded me to a larger room that was available on the 6th floor. Staff appropriately warned me that the gym is on the 6th floor and some guests find that floor too busy but it was not a problem for me. For some reason the toilet was not clean when I entered the room. At first I thought that someone missed this but it is possible that there was some issue with the plumbing that was being repaired. The staff apologized and cleaned the room promptly.

Fantastic location! Easy walk or subway ride to all of the main attractions in Manhattan. The room was smallish and laid out a bit weird, but the bed was very comfortable and clean. Everything seemed pretty new. The bathroom was a bit cramped but had all of the basics. The AC was fabulous and the temperature was easy to control. The front desk staff was helpful, friendly, and efficient. The elevators could be a bit slow but overall were fine. The view from our second floor room was, well, not inspiring, but we were happy to have the blackout shade at night. Overall a great experience for our first trip to NY. The room was smallish and laid out a bit weird. The bathroom was a bit cramped but had all of the basics.

I was in room 1803. The bed was exceedingly uncomfortable. And the protective mat that goes over the mattress was so lumpy that it was hard to find a space on the mattress that actually flat. But the worst part of the stay? I could hear the plumbing/water going on and off throughout the system for the entire night. There would be a few minutes of quiet and then 5 to 10 seconds of very loud noise. For the ENTIRE night. It was even worse in the morning when people were taking showers. I slept for a total of about 30 minutes all night. And left with a terrible migraine. I mentioned these isdues to the front desk as I was checking out and they were seemingly bewildered. They acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and offered no explanation or apology. To spend over $300 for a single night at a hotel, and to have this quality? Absolutely shameful.

The location is great. There was no option to have breakfast at the hotel. You may want to consider offering an earlier checkin option for a fee.

The location is really good, the room is also good but I wouldnt said it is a 4 stars hotel, but a solid 3 There is no lobby, the entry is very simple but nothing that would make the staying bad.
- 4/5
Location was perfect for our needs. Beds very comfortable and I slept better than I usually do in hotels. Staff were all great. A/C was a bit loud.
- 4/5
The location and room space was good and the night shift check in staff was also lovely. Very overpriced and the incidental fee per night is absolutely ridiculous even for NY.

Elevator broke. Only one outlet worked in room - the bathroom. Remote didn’t work, gym was 100 degrees. Otherwise it was great.

Clean , everything functioning properly , I got an upgrade , one elevator didn’t work but it was manageable . All good
- 4.5/5
This was a surprisingly comfortable clean convenient and pleasant stay. I was on the top floor so very quiet and the room was fairly large and v nice. The location was fabulous— right near MoMA, not long walk to Lincoln Center and Broadway theaters. The staff was friendly and accommodating and they gave free fresh cookies every day! Everything was really great.

Convenient location and very pleasant staff. The only issue I had was: despite writing to the front desk staff asking for a room away from the elevator and thru the Hilton Honors app requesting a certain room away from the elevator, the room we were given was right next to the elevator.

If you walk in the lobby, you’d be scared that it might be a scam hotel, but it’s not. It just has a tiny lobby. The service was really good. The employees took care of us really well. If you need snacks and don’t wanna leave the hotel, they have a healthy amount of choices there that you could charge to your room. The room we had was a king size bed and the bed was comfy. There wasn’t much of a table and chair area. There was a table but you definitely couldn’t do any work there. The bathroom was one of the smallest in New York and was probably my least favorite thing about the room. The shower was extremely tiny. I’m not a big guy and I had troubles turning around in it. If you a bigger person, I’d suggest somewhere else. I was very disappointed by the bathroom. The tv was updated where you could watch Netflix, Disney or Apple with your own logins. That was a nice plus. There wasn’t much ALWAYS a long wait for the elevators, to the point, we decided to take the stairs more than once. This is a great location to get around the city, but if you are planning on spending time in the hotel room and not running around, this is not the right hotel for you. AC was an issue for us. The room was quite warm and you couldn’t make it colder than 69 in the room, but the air doesn’t blow very hard at all.
- 4.5/5
Big room, good breakfast buffet. Quite. Not very clean. We arrive ed in a Sunday evening, so perhaps that made a difference. Carpets not vacuumed, glass doors and hall tables had water stains and handprints. Drapes in room were so thin they were ripped in creases. Definitely could use some updating.
- 3.5/5
It was in a great location and I had a beautiful view out my window, the room was spacious and the bathrooms were clean. I was supposed to get a view of st Vincent’s cathedral from my room however I ended up with a view of 5th Ave, so facing the opposite side, the whole point of the trip was booked around the cathedral so it was a bit disappointing

Amazing Location
- 4/5
Excellent location opposite Rockefeller Centre and Radio City Hall 1) Extremely small rooms which is understandable as it’s Manhattan, but for international travellers with 2 large bags and 1 hand bag, it’s a very tight fit. If you are sharing the room, then 4 big and 2 small bags would be impossible to fit 2) Even though check in is at 3pm, when we reached the hotel at 4pm, we had to wait 45 minutes to get our rooms and we had tickets for The Rock at 5.30pm

The location was perfect!! Close proximity to many must-see places in NYC. The staff were incredibly helpful. Tamia went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable & happy. The room was extremely clean & the beds were comfortable. The elevators seemed a bit slow, but I don’t have any other complaints at all.

Great location The hotel’s location was excellent and very convenient for exploring the city. Unfortunately, the service significantly impacted our overall experience. During our stay, a parade blocked access to the parking garage that the hotel advertised and directed guests to use. As a result, we were unable to leave the city on schedule. The hotel was aware that the parade would affect access but did not inform guests in advance or advise us that we would need to leave earlier on Sunday morning. While the hotel did offer a late checkout, once we checked out we were essentially left with nowhere to go for several hours while waiting for access to the garage. Traveling with two young children made this especially difficult. The property has no lobby area or public restrooms available for guests after checkout, so we were effectively forced to spend four hours outside. Although staff apologized for the inconvenience, there was very little practical assistance offered. A situation that was largely foreseeable and preventable by better communication became a frustrating experience for our family. The great location was a positive, but the lack of planning, communication, and guest support would make me hesitant to stay here again

We enjoyed our stay overall. The location was excellent — close enough to all the main attractions, yet far enough from the crowds and noise of Times Square to provide a more relaxing atmosphere. It was easy to explore the city while still having a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. The only drawback was the room size. Travelers with multiple large suitcases may find the space somewhat limited, making it a bit challenging to move around comfortably.
- 3.5/5
Staff were friendly and the location is really good! The room is not as sound proofing as other hotels I’ve stayed at, and rooms are very close to each other
- 5/5
Location, rooms, reception staff, cleanliness, maids. Nothing.
- 2.5/5
Location and cleanliness are the best features You can hear everything that goes on outside your room in the corridor, whoever stays next door, and even outside on the streets so don’t expect a good nights sleep, this had nothing to do with the staff, they allowed us to move rooms which showed how good of a service they gave.

Frist off staff was great! Very well ran. Mohammed was very helpful and professional. It was another guy forgot his name. He suggested a spot right next door for us to visit and welcomed my bestie with a gift for her birthday. If you needed anything they were on it immediately! I was a little upset that the cleaning person threw out my cookies during cleaning that I had saved. They are really good by the way. I received one every time I came in. The rooms are super small. But location is great. Hotel ok.. but the staff is what made our stay. Thanks to them, give them all a raise! Rooms were really small. Shower super small. Curtain rod was broken they didn't have another to replace. Cleaning person threw away my cookies. Did not sweep floor when cleaned. Only one towel and rag. No microwave in room. Pictures online not accurate.

Service was good, room was clean. I was placed in a room next to the kitchen, where loud noise continued until 1:30 am. Despite paying a premium to stay at the hotel and catch up on sleep before a long flight, I barely slept. At around 12:30 am, I even went into the kitchen to ask the staff to lower the loud music they were playing while cleaning up. While the volume was reduced slightly, the noise continued for another hour.

We visited NYC many times and this was the best location we've ever had - right across the street from Radio City Music Hall. I liked the size of the small room - it was enough for two people - there were only 8 rooms on each floor so it was very quiet. We didn't actually spend a lot of time in the room because we were exploring the city most the time. I would definitely stay here again. Good value. One of the two elevators was not working for three days and it did put a cramp in getting to the room in a timely manner.
- 2/5
The elevator was hardly working and had to wait minimum 10 mins thankfully we were on the second floor and always walked up the stairs and down the stairs…. Our door in the hotel room had to be slammed shut… we were facing air conditioners very unattractive and outside our door was an ice machine always noisey and horrible smell of mold and garbage

The property is clean and in the best location possible. You are walking distance from Rockefeller Center and Radio City Music Hall. Also, the hotel has a restaurant which is convenient when you are too tired to go out. Also, the hotel has a Walgreen’s right next door which is super convenient. Only suggestion is they remove the faux plants in lobby and in the restaurant. I will be back around Christmas time for the tree lighting and ice rink.

The room was relatively clean. And the location was perfect-right across the street from Radio City. However the room was right next to the elevators where we heard everything all night long. Terrible stay overall. Toilets constantly overflowing in bathroom and atrocious management especially Lungelo Gumede. Over our 4 night stay we were only offered to move room the last day to which there was no point as we’d already unpacked and would be out the entire day. No real solution was ever offered and was rudely spoken to by Lungelo in a very sly manner over the last two days when dealing with the issues. No apology or acknowledgment given of the issues at hand

The lobby is tiny and there is nowhere to sit. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. There is no one to help with bags when you arrive or to assist you in hailing a cab which is unfortunate given the cost of the hotel.

The hotel cancelled my booking prior to my checkin -without any notice. Thankfully there was another hotel close by, but it cost me twice as much. The line to the elevator when we arrived at the Doubletree was 20 people deep leading me to assume they had one working elevator for the lobby. It will not be a hotel I will consider on my next trip to NYC.

The rooms were a bit rough for the price. Flooring had cracks and issue. The shower was a pull around curtain. The room with a view was a a/c unit on the 3rd floor. But it made it nice cause the elevators were so slow.

I traveled with my 4 and 6-year-old children and my 80-year-old mother. We were met with a room that was frankly dangerous. Because the room was uninhabitable, we were forced to move. This process was so agonizingly slow that we missed our dinner reservations. We were moved into a room that was significantly worse than the one I actually paid for. The hotel management was empathetic. They acknowledged the nightmare and explicitly promised a 50% refund for each night of our stay to compensate for the downgrade and the missed evening. However, when I followed up with Expedia to process the refund, Expedia claimed they spoke to the hotel and that "the manager never said that." They essentially called the hotel management liars (or me). * Despite a significant price differ and a ruined trip, they offered a pathetic $200 "goodwill gesture" which doesn't even cover a fraction of the 50% discount. It is clear that Expedia would rather pocket their commission than honor an agreement made by the property they represent. If you are traveling with family or seniors and need a guarantee that your booking is protected, book directly with the hotel. If anything goes wrong, Expedia will leave you stranded and then nickel-and-dime you.

It says it’s a 4 star but it actually looks more like a 2.5 Staff was ok. They gave us a room with a double bed and said it was a queen. I asked to be changed and they refused. Pictures in the website are totally deceptive. I would not recommend them and would not stay there again even if it was for free.

It’s a great location. Nicest staff. But it’s super loud. Not talking about the NYC streets, it’s the other guests and cleaning crew. The halls are so narrow they’re constantly hitting your door. It was bad. And a bummer. You can literally hear the TV in the next room word for word.

Great location, staff were amazing and to was very very clean

Room was clean and good for two people. Elevators took a very long time to come and we often ended up taking the stairs and staff were not super pleasant, but other than that good location and did the trick for a two night stay.
- 5/5
Overall great large room and staff. Horrible elevator wait times but other than that was great
- 4/5
The room was clean, comfortable, and *somewhat* spacious for the city. We also enjoyed the complimentary coffee/tea and water bottles in the room. Loved the Crabtree and Evelyn amenities in the bathroom too! A couple downsides: the elevators were very busy and a bit slow at times and the lobby is very tiny, which made it hard to move around/wait in line.

Best location
- 5/5
room was great. small but great. i love how the personalized it and listened to what i needed. it was a fantastic location. close to the tree, radio center and a ton of food. walking distance to everything that we had planned. although due to the holidays the price was a little higher it worked out great. the only fall back was the elevator situation. there was only 2 and in the mornings they were hard to catch or wait times were longer. staff was also friendly and asked if there was anything that we needed any time that we came or went. shower was hot, too hot for us and did take some time to adjust to what we liked but overall we would stay again, spotless adn location really sold us.
- 5/5
Location! Location! Location!
- 1/5
Not great would look elsewhere
- 5/5
Nice and clean rooms. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Location was perfect. The potential negative was waiting on the elevators.
- 5/5
My room was perfect. I had a corner room with a view of the city. The size was great and I loved the walk-in shower. The room was very clean.
- 5/5
Parking was a little confusing but we got through dance place great location
- 4/5
Great staff. Stayed one night during Christmas, excellent location if you’re seeing the Rockettes and want to be in the heart of Rockefeller Plaza. Cons: tight lobby and slow elevators. However, we had a room on the 2nd floor so we used the stairs a lot.
- 5/5
Very nice accommodating staff and great location and room size!
- 5/5
Everything! I appreciated the upgrade. Loved the room esp the balcony and view. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’d go again
- 4/5
Check in was easy and room was great
- 4/5
Great location! Room is small but clean. Elevators slow.
- 2/5
Room is smaller than advertized. It states that every king bed room is 220 sq ft but this room looks like it is 50 sq ft short. Pictures on website are not what they give you. Stay away from this.place.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly. The location is perfect
- 3/5
Elevators were horrible. Very small rooms for what you pay for. The bathroom door wouldn’t shut fully. Cold showers in the morning for several minutes. Nothing like other hiltons I’ve stayed at
- 4/5
Rooms are very small basic room. Staff very nice!
- 5/5
Room had all the essentials. Close to all attractions (walking distance)
- 4/5
Clean but noisy. And checkin is poor. Very small lobby n there’s onky 2 elevators fr 28 floors
- 2/5
The room was the size of a large closet. There was barely enough room for 1 person much less 2. The bathroom wasn't private. The elevators hardly worked and we were on the 19th floor. This was not a pleasant stay for us.
- 5/5
Fabulous location and staff is amazing!
- 5/5
Great location for attending show at Radio City Music Hall. Short walk to Rockefeller Center and Saks Christmas light show. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Although there is a restaurant at the hotel we didn’t eat there. Suggestions: walk when you can, take the train if too far to walk. Other option use NYC taxi over Uber or any other transport service. Taxi rates were very, very reasonsble.
- 4/5
Conveniently located to Holiday locations , Rockefeller Tree, Bryant park , Radio City is across the street and walkable to Central Park. The lobby is very small but the room was perfect for the short time we actually spent room. I would stay at this location again.
- 5/5
2 things to note. Patience and patience. Elevators can be quite busy at times. And car services (Uber/Lyft/Taxis) are challenging during the busy season. Nypd closes 51st street quite often. You’ll need to go to 5th or 6th Ave to catch a ride. Bell hop holds luggage pre/post trip. Also they have flat rates for airport transfers. Process same as Uber and more reliable. We had Uber cancel on us twice due to inability to reach us. Uber eats/Door Dash local food to the lobby. We did breakfast that way. Bills burger bar across the street was great. And the pizza place a few doors down.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean and in great location. Would recommend.
- 4/5
Great location. Hotel was a little worn down and could use updates.
- 2/5
Rooms are basically a closet, “city” view was a tiny bathroom sized window that looked at the corner of a street. Room wasn’t very clean and hard to get hot water in shower. Restaurant is expensive and not kid friendly.
- 2/5
Everything.
- 4/5
Room was clean and had all necessities. The staff was friendly and helpful. Front desk seemed like they had a few new people so they were training while checking us in and out. One elevator broke during our stay and it was brutal but they got it fixed after a few days.
- 5/5
Friendly staff at reception, room was clean, amenities were favorable, and location was great. Only downside was it was a little loud in the hallways but there's only 6ish rooms per floor (at least where I was).
- 1/5
We arrived on site for our honeymoon at 11:15pm. Arrived to room with a non functioning toilet. Room was small and dingy. Front staff claimed there were no other rooms available and they would get an engineer to fix the toilet. Again, this was almost midnight. Easily could have placed us in a room that was scheduled to be given out the next day and have engineer fix the toilet during the night and swap rooms. Instead cancelled reservation and got amazing service at the midtown Hilton who were able to accommodate a last minute reservation. Will NEVER stay here again.
- 5/5
Room clean , close to many points of interest that were walkable . Friendly staff
- 4/5
Room was nice and spacious, check in and out process took a very long time but it was just busy
- 5/5
Spotless room, warm staff and the location was amazing. We will stay here again!
- 4/5
Perfect location if you are going to Rockefeller Center or Radio City Music Hall. Great views, shopping and entertainment all around. The hotel also has a premium restaurant with stunning views. The Rockefeller Christmas Tree is across the street and can be seen from the restaurant balcony.
- 5/5
PERFECT location, friendly staff, clean rooms. Check-in & out was very easy. Great lighting in the bathrooms and nice amenities.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Fantastic location.
- 5/5
We have stayed in NYC many times and the doubletree was by far the best. The staff was superb, the room was spotless, and the location was close to everything g we wanted to do. This will definitely be our go to spot!
- 3/5
Overall our experience was okay, but we would not stay here again for a variety of reasons. Let me start with the positives! The location was incredible and the staff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel was also very clean, and we never felt unsafe when we were there. However, we had a series of issues with the room and location of the room that made our experience not enjoyable. The biggest issue we had in the room was the sound. Our room was right next to the elevator bank which is normally not an issue, but we were in the third floor right by the maid staging area for towels, sheets, etc. Every morning, we were woken up at 5am to loud talking and banging of cabinets. It would go on off and on for at least an hour, and we would be unable to fall back to sleep. The nightlight in the bathroom also made it difficult to sleep, because there was no way to turn it off, making the room very bright at night. Another issue was that only one side of the bed had a nightstand with plugs. The other side of the room had no nightstand and not a single plug on that side of the room, forcing one of us to charge all of our items in the bathroom. During our stay, one of the elevators went out of service. We understand that happens, but it caused long waits for the elevator. One morning, we decided to take the stairs down from the third floor to head straight out to the street. Once we had made our way down three flights of stairs, we found that the exit door was locked. Big fire hazard!
- 5/5
Great location, great room.
- 3/5
Only 1 working elevator. Returned in the evening and had to wait over 15 min because a service person with a large bin got on the elevator, went up to collect trash and held the elevator there. When he returned the elevator smelled of garbage. It was a waste of time, rude for him to hold the elevator while guests were waiting in the lobby and disgusting to have to ride up with that smell.
- 2/5
non-communicative barely said a word.
- 5/5
This hotel is ideal if you are going to see the holiday show at radio City music hall. Walking distance to so many sights. Hotel is extremely clean and very friendly staff. The chocolate chip cookies are great too! Well worth the $$$. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Updated and clean. We will look to stay here when we return
- 2/5
Our room was in 7th floor where the restaurant is on the same floor. Our room was next to a door that says “employees only”. There was a lot of noise from this room like pots or dishes or silverware noise and its door was banging all the time until passed 1am. Horrible Hilton hotel experience which was unusual for me. Plus, the water from the shower is sipping under the shower glass door causing flood in the bathroom.
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean
- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff & excellent location
- 1/5
We were put in a room (703) right next to what seemed a kitchen or staff room. There were always groceries or chairs put right outside our door. It was one of the worst experiences in a hotel. Only reason we stayed was because we were late and very tired.
- 5/5
Very comfortable room and we had a great view. No issues, great value and location.
- 4/5
Our first room was on the 2nd floor and I like to keep the window open. When I opened the curtains there was scaffolding and steps that led to the window in a dark alcove. I felt very unsafe and they switched my room which was then on the 9th floor and it was a fabulous room and view. I would stay there again. Great location. Staff great.
- 4/5
Very gracious staff and the room was excellent.
- 3/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Yes, needed a tv remote and was brought to room with in 10 minutes. Clean and great location
- 5/5
Room was great! AC wouldn’t go below 68, but we had balcony and just opened the door and woke up to it snowing!!! Was absolutely amazing
- 5/5
Great location, walking access to shopping & restaurants. Room was updated &!clean with great views. Staff was super friendly!
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean, staff friendly and professional, and you can’t beat the location.
- 4/5
Staff was really helpful - the only down side there were no keys available and had to get assistance each time we wanted to enter the room, it was a pain
- 5/5
The staff were great and made us feel welcome. The room was super clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again!
- 3/5
They confused our rooms and et had to movr and see many rooms.we were able to have room key card on second day due to technical issues.
- 5/5
The room was clean, the location was 10/10 and the staff was super friendly! Extra special shoutout to Edison at the front desk, he was incredibly professional and courteous in helping us with checkout questions. Would stay again!
- 5/5

- 5/5
The cookies are a must try perfect
- 4/5
Clean room very comfortable bed.
- 5/5
The unique room shape and FANTASTIC location
- 5/5
The room was quiet, clean and the staff polite and helpful. The restaurant was wonderful. We had two meals there and would return. My daughter who lives midtown loves it and will be back. That’s saying a lot! Thank you.
- 3/5
There was only one elevator running and unfortunately the tile it took to get to my floor was almost ten mins. Unfortunately I was in a hurry a few times so that was unfortunate. I ordered take out from the restaurant and the dish was super tiny for $30. Noise travels from the floors into the rooms. The front desk staff was nice though!
- 3/5
Situated in a good location and close to subway station. Overall cleanliness and comfort is pleasant but the only issue is the lifts. There are 2 lifts and one is under maintenance. Ended up waiting for ages for the lift. Lobby waiting area is so constricted. In addition, noise barrier in between rooms are poor that turning up volume on TV upsets the next door guests. Morning was noisy with the cleaners due to poor noise proof.
- 2/5
The restaurant but breakfast was not Free as suggested here
- 3/5
The elevator was incredibly slow and there was constant construction.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel, perfectly located, clean, neat and tidy.
- 5/5
Great stay… needed to be close to Rockefeller Center and this location was great… Room was very comfortable and updated with everything you need. Will definitely stay here again

The staff at the front desk
- 4/5

- 4/5
great place and staff, very walkable
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Clean room, staff responds immediately to requests. No lobby to speak of but that’s not why you choose this hotel. We were staying above the 20th floor and had a great view.
- 5/5
Our stay was excellent. Great staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
The location was great. Rooms were beautiful
- 2/5
Will never stay here again - waste of money
- 5/5
Excellent hotel right across the street from Radio City Musix Hall. Would 100% stay here again.
- 5/5
Perfect for our stay!!! Walking distance to all things NYC
- 4/5
The bathrooms are small but functional. We didn’t have any chairs in our room but we had a table. We were on the 6th floor and view was of another building. They do give complimentary cookies and 2 water bottles for free. Nice Rooftop restaurant Duomo51.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Room clean except leaking shower door so water pools all over the floor. Great view of St. Patrick’s cathedral Restaurant on 7th floor should be skipped!
- 5/5
If you are only for travel this hotel perfectly located
- 5/5
I think all it was good
- 4/5

- 3/5
The hotel has a great location. Although, the staff must improve the service at front desk. (Poor service). The rooms are really small, and skips the daily room cleaning. Recommendation: Look for other hotels options near the area.
- 5/5
It was a great location for one night when visiting radio city. Also was amazing to be close to other areas to walk.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and well made. Plenty of towels and replenished soap, water, etc.
- 5/5
Nothing unique about the hotel.
- 5/5
Visiting NYFW , needed a place to stay close to everything. This small hotel is close to all the best places in NYC with easy access to subway. Service was great. We booked it in the last minute so the only room they had was on 7th floor where the restaurant is. Since I needed to work during this time , noise was quite annoying , but when I told the team - they switch my room with no issue the next day. The room size is small but very modern and had all the things I need. The only issue I had is that there is no lobby basically - so if you are doing checkout before your flight and need to work you need to take it somewhere else
- 4/5
Small but modern rooms. Very clean and great rates, incl. a $5 breakfast deal.
- 5/5
My stay was excellent special thank you to Naya for helping with my Wyfi , she is the best. She was always service with a smile and great attitude.
- 4/5
The lobby is tiny tiny and the staff are not quick to help with much but the location is wonderful! Also there are only two elevators for 26 floors of people so any trip, up or down, could mean you may stop on every floor letting everyone and their dog off and on before reaching your destination. Patience is imperative.
- 5/5
Perfect location!
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and polite. The location was fantastic, room was clean, bed was very comfortable.
- 5/5
My stay at this hotel was overall excellent. The location is great, the staff was friendly, and the room was very clean. The only downsides were the noise in the hallways at night and the fact that my room had an accessible shower where the water leaked out onto the floor. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful and I would still recommend this property.
- 4/5

Nice property. Second time there but both times only over night but the little experience was good. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again. And also the car service is a plus!

We loved our stay at the doubletree! It is a great location for walking just about anywhere. The staff are very friendly and professional. Parking is in proximity and a reasonable rate. The room is clean and we were even upgraded when we arrived which was nice. We would stay here again.

The Roos are very small.

- 3/5
No person at the front desk at 5am. Limited room service.

Enjoyed my stay. Didn’t like being on 6th floor very noisy. Try to avoid. Other than that I enjoyed! Very clean and good staff
- 5/5
Friendly staff Great stay! Will definitely book again.
- 5/5
My favorite spot - clean, comfortable, loved the open air restaurant on the 7th floor! Great staff.

Room was not available when we checked in, receptionist asked us to wait 5 minutes, but that 5 minutes turned into 20+ minutes. Bathroom door did not close and had no lock. Big privacy issues. We went with our kids so it was a big privacy concern. Toilet was making some bubble sound. Sofa bed was terrible and no bed sheets or pillows were provided. When we requested hotel staff they provided bed sheets only. This room also did not have a landline phone. Never been to a hotel room that did not provide a landline telephone. We have to use our mobile phone to talk to reception. Room was noisy we could hear people noises from walking in the hallway. Overall hotel staff were not friendly at all. Terrible service. First time ever had worst experience with room and staff. I am not sure how this hotel room had 10 stars rating on hotels.com?

Great location, friendly staff. Kids favorite was the warm cookie at check in.
- 2/5
Two elevators for 25 floors, most of the time only one elevator works. The shower drain didn’t work, only given two waterbottles for entire stay. The room was so tiny the smallest I’ve ever stayed at

- 5/5
Conveniently located across from Radio City and near Times Square. Very reasonably priced for a last minute trip to the city.
- 4/5
The room is small and bed is not firm BUT the location is the best, coffee machine excellent and staff efficient and very helpful. They also offer a driver service to the airport
- 4/5
Great location. the partial view window was because of the air conditioning syste. which blocked the voew of Rockfeller center. Superb location though with many sites within 10 mins walking.
- 3/5
Sewer nats and a water leak. Toilet flush issues.
- 5/5
It was great! Only complaint would be that they did not have enough clean towels.

Great location
- 4/5
Rooms are a lot to be desired but the location is EXCELLENT, so that makes up for it.
- 2/5
Great location but this place is in need of maintenance. Our first room had an inoperable toilet that needed to be repaired and a shower door that didn’t completely close, resulting in a near fall. The replacement room had the same issue with the shower, a sliding door ready to fall off the track, a cabinet door hanging off one hinge, and sheets with a sandy material on top. I would’ve requested another room but this was a short weekend visit. Two rooms with issues, so I can’t recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
Loved the location. The air conditioner was VERY loud, hard to sleep
- 5/5
Great location & stay!
- 5/5
The bathroom was always with problems
- 5/5
Very nice stay.

Excelente hotel y buena ubicación.
- 5/5
Across from Rockefeller. 2 min walk to all shopping on 5th Ave, 5 min walk to Times Square. The rooms are a bit small but very clean and nice. I will be staying here again for future trips. Very friendly staff.
- 2/5
Check in was pleasant; after a walk-through TimeSquare, we made it back to our room. the bathroom floor was flooded with toilet water. No apologies was issued, nor a room credit. Nothing. We know life happens but own up to it. Where is my credit?

Everything was excellent from beginning to end and I'm glad I booked here last minute!
- 5/5
The staff were great. They allowed me to leave our baggage and so that I can walk to the car garage bring our car. There is a front the hotel loading unloading area very convenient. The only downside the hotel has no breakfast included and no lobby that you would expect from the Double Three Hotel. The staff were great. Room next door guests I was able to hear their Portuguese language conversation of male and female along with everyone who called them by cellphone they had the Speaker on so I heard the conversation without trying. There is no sound proof rooms.
- 4/5
Very well situated
- 3/5
The bathroom had a really bad odor of sewage and unable to be in there at all Paid for 2 nights and only able to stay one night.
- 5/5
Room had a great view and was very clean! Would stay again
- 5/5
The queen balcony is small but the view was awesome. The staff was polite, professional and accommodating. They allowed for an early check in around 10am and a late checkout at 12.30. I will definitely be back but not in July, too hot. (The AC worked great)

Very close to Rockefeller Center, Radio City, Times Square

I’ve been to New York several times and always choose a hotel in Midtown. After staying at the Doubletree in Midtown unfortunately I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. There are only 2 elevators for the whole building (including the staff). During our stay one of the elevators broke down for the entire 3 nights. We were on the 14th floor where we walked up a few times because waiting for the elevator took forever. On our second day we woke up to no water in the toilet, shower or sink. We were forced to brush our teeth and wash our face with bottled water. After always reporting this issues to the stay they would just simply apologize with no remorse.
- 5/5
I always come here when I travel for work. The experience is positive and they give you a free warm cookie!
- 5/5
Everything was excelent
- 3/5
Location is good but the hotel itself is not 4 star. Cleanliness issues and the bathrooms are leaking.
- 4/5
It was average, staff was super helpful and friendly but the lift situation was not good, only 2 lifts and one was not working one day created big chaos. The toilet had a couple of things broken, cupboard door and the shower door was not closing
- 3/5
I didn't like the fact that I had a do not disturb sign on my door and the cleaning staff still knocked and then opened the door. Lucky for me I had the door lock activated....it wasnt even check out time, it was approximately 1030am. Why have the sign available if staff isn't going to respect it?
- 5/5
Room exactly as pictured. Clean, friendly staff. Great location!
- 4/5
near everything
- 5/5
Perfect NYC pit stop - couldn’t ask for a better location! Just steps from Times Square but somehow still peaceful. Ideal for a quick, no-fuss city break with everything at your doorstep.
- 3/5
Fyi don't stay in the rooms in the lower floors , it's extremely loud in the street and you'll hear everything like it's in your room(club music, the trash collector, people talking, cars beeping) The "suite" rooms are not any larger than a room with two double beds. It's definitely misrepresentatived. The lobby is barely enough room for 5-7 people to be in. If you get a room near the maintenance room, ask to move . The staff is walking in and out all night and you'll hear the door slamming and the beeping from the lock. Also ask for your room to be cleaned at a certain time, we would come back before dinner to get dressed and it was always being cleaned around that time. The staff was very friendly and the room was cleaned daily and did a great job.

We had Tamia assisted us at front desk! She was friendly and kind, make good suggestions for places. Also Ivan the bellman is wonderful, he transported our luggages to two streets down due to road closure. Very nice people.
