Good location. The shower needs an actual door and could use a different shower head. Other than that is was a great stay.

No real amenities. The hotel was so small but it was fairly clean. Not my favorite of the Hilton brand.
- 1/5
Fridge didn’t work. The lobby and halls smelled horrible! One elevator working.
- 4/5
Overall, I thought the property was in a great location. My room was clean and comfortable, and it was a good size by New York standards. The elevator was being worked on, so it took a bit to get to and from my floor.

Room: our room was great. Had a fridge. One thing I did not like was the shower. There is no barrier so the water is just there in the bathroom. Bring slipper or flip flops. Amenities/restaurant: wish there was an ice bucket machine. We ordered food from the restaurant/bar and it was good! It was nice not having to search for food outside of the hotel.
- 5/5
All staff were helpful and very friendly. I wish the elevator repair were completed, but nothing to be done about that.
- 5/5
This is a no-fuss hotel. check-in is quick, staff is well informed. From the resort fee, the hotel provides you approx.$29 Buck for beverages etc. It's a win win situation. Rooms are clean and good sized compared to other midtown hotels.

Extremely overpriced. The room is worn out and staled. Only one elevator servicing 20+ floors, the wait time is very long. The bed is very uncomfortable and the AC is very noisy. Plus the hotel charges $29 a night extra fee mandatory.

The room was fine, though we needed to have a check by staff for bedbugs because of a bite that occurred during our stay. The staff, especially Robbi, were very helpful, though there seemed to be difficulty for him to reach decision makers. We also were charged for food instead of it being dealt with as part of the resort fee. But the location is good and the room was comfortable.

I was expecting a buffet. Instead it was order at the counter. It was "free" in that the cost was deducted from your $29 daily "resort fee." Note: this is NOT a resort. It was almost impossible to get a cup of coffee. The machine kept jamming or dishing out pale brown sewer water, and an old style coffee urn with lever was always empty.

We were here one night to celebrate our anniversary and Chrissy the supervisor was incredible providing us with a gift bag and personal written note! Superb personal touch! The room was clean and cozy and staff were friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The good, the room was good size and clean. They came up with a mandatory fee of $29 daily that was not informed before, supposedly to cover the internet, which I didn’t use, the gym I didn’t use and food I couldn’t used before it expired the day of checkout. One elevator for a 30+ floors, because they are taking five months to fix the other one, in the middle of summer. So the experience wasn’t great.

Such a great Mother’s Day weekend at the hotel! The staff is so kind and friendly, the hotel is beautiful and it is so close to everything! Everytime I come to NY from Orlando I stay here and I can’t wait to return! Thank you all for another wonderful stay! My daughter and I had a great time!

The hotel is in a great location. Easy access to Theater shows, the High Line, Times Square and many restaurants. It is reasonably priced for NY and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only glitch was one elevator was not working (being serviced) so getting up and down at peak times was difficult. As this is a temporary situation I will definately go back.

We had to check in a little early due to my friend not feeling well. They gave us a room and even upgraded us to a better room! It was incredibly nice! Everything was wonderful, Comfortable bed, walk in shower and the staff was AMAZING! The food in the bar area of the hotel was not great, fries too hard to eat, cinnamon roll completely hollow. The elevators seem to take forever to get to the higher floors when I wanted to go down.

Rooms were decent for the price in NYC. They are tiny and a dresser would better serve the room than a desk. There was little to no counter space in the bathroom. Stayed in better (and worse) at this price point.

The room was clean and staff was courteous. Hotel was quiet. It would have been nice if I could place a hotel restaurant order by phone, or on the tv, or even from the QR code I scanned in the room to see the menu. The room phone didn't work so I had to call the front desk from my cell. Update the rooms and your amenities and it would be all good. Overall ok experience.

I arrived and my reservation was canceled. First I was told Expedia canceled. I contacted Expedia and they stated hotel canceled saying it was my card. Even though it was the same card I used to Re-book my stay at hotel. Then the heater never turned off in the room. The thermostat on wall did nothing. Turned it off and the heater would not turn off. Had to open the window with 2 degree temps trying to survive the desert heat wave in the room.

Location was nice I did not at all like that I was charged additionally for the $50 for some amenities upon checking in. I was caught off guard and it was presented as urgent it was no big deal because some if it you can use as a credit at the restaurant. I did not at all like that. And you bartenders personality leaves something to be desired.

The room itself was very cozy and clean. Beds were comfortable. The location was ideal and everywhere was walkable. Staff was rude when I arrived and spent too much time talking to each other about unrelated issues while I was standing there waiting. The website said they had parking but I was never contacted beforehand that I had to park in a garage a street over. It was difficult to find the location and even harder to go to the garage which I had to pay extra for before it wasn't even affiliated with the hotel (again, the site said they had parking available). The restaurant was abysmal. There was only one staff member (this was not her fault) and she had to take our orders and make our food. The food was bad and took a long time to get made, and they didn't have an item on the menu. The elevator almost broke on my friends, and no free wifi for the absurd price I paid was unacceptable. I had to try four different phone numbers to ask the front desk for an early check-in, which they already approved prior to my stay, but they said they couldn't do it anymore, so we had to wait around for an hour before checking into our room while the staff chatted it up. Overall, service was very poor and the staff unfriendly, and the amenities where NOT worth the price. Will not be staying again.

Hotel is in a great area, you can walk to Rockefeller Center and Time Square. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the elevator situation. There are 2 elevators and 1 was down and not operational. The 1 elevator that was "working" was constantly breaking down and needed to be reset. We often waited for 15+ min for an elevator and at one point we walked 10 flights of stairs to get to our floor because the elevator was taking over 20 min to be reset and start working again.

Great staff and they offered free hot apple cider. We were a family of four and create a lot of trash so we would take our trash down every other day or so. We also don’t like folks to tidy our space, but we were able to grab new towels and have the old ones picked up. The cafe’s food was good as well. We didn’t know about the ability to be picked up and dropped off at the airport. Be sure to ask them about it.

First of all, the hotel... Honestly, my room wasn't clean. There was an unpleasant smell. Besides that, the hotel had problems with the elevators, so I had to walk down the stairs. On top of that, they charged me extra money, saying I was going to make a deposit, but they didn't return it. They only gave me back $100 of the $300 I left. They didn't bring me water to the room, and they didn't provide clean towels. The hotel was a complete failure.

Check in wa quick, no line. The "resort fee" is actually useful as a room credit. Great service at the bar from Asada and Emma. Friendly and gave me some great recommendations for restaurants. Location is solid. Very close to the train station, very close to subway access, walking distance to Times Square and Central Park. Pretty much perfect spot to be. On a semi-quiet street, less hobos than Phoenix, zero issue. Room (905) was great. Appears to be 5 rooms per floor - a room ending in "05" will be on the back of the building and will be very quiet. Clean and comfortable, daily housekeeping. Size was fine, waaaaay bigger than what I was expecting, especially compared to Tokyo, Osaka or Hong Kong. Slept great. Will be a go-to with future NYC trips. I would consider booking night before or the day-of. Room was about $60 less expensive than my booking 3 weeks prior. Roll the dice but might save you some cash

The staff was friendly and helpful. It was my daughter’s birthday and they sent up a gift to the room of wine, balloons and bag full of goodies. So kind and thoughtful.

There is a new scam in town. $30 ($29) mandatory hotel fee which they give you a voucher for to be used in their "bar". Fascinating indeed. What are you going to do - not check in ? If you don't feel like drinking or eating there - your loss, right? :)

The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff members who checked us in were very friendly. However, there was a banging noise every few seconds that kept us up at night. When we called the front desk, we were told the noise was coming from elevator. When I asked what could be done, I was put on hold for several minutes and eventually got disconnected. I was never called back. We simply had to endure the noise. Because of that, I don't recommend staying here.

Nice hotel. Got upgraded so that was nice. Clean, modern room and nice bathroom and shower.
- 3/5
Front desk seemed uninterested in really helping with any additional information other than asking for my credit card.

Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. They greeted us when we entered and when we left. They assisted us with a ride to the airport.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with very friendly staff!
- 5/5
A well run hotel at a reasonable cost for NYC. Its location is good but work has been ongoing on the exterior for much more than a year, which makes it more challenging to find the hotel. Staff is excellent and helpful. We’ve stayed here twice and will try to stay in the future if the room prices don’t go up too much.
- 5/5
We stayed as an overnight taking a cruise out of port near by . The room was good view outside was of scaffolding and such so view not great from second floor . We had a room right off elevator that was great . Beds were comfortable but having to share in a full size was not fun. Was very close to time square and plenty of restaurants and stores in such .
- 4/5
Great hotel & staff. The location though is tough because it’s right across from Port Authority. The street is INCREDIBLY noisy at night so just keep that in mind when booking. Otherwise, it’s a really great hotel
- 4/5
Good location near Time Square. Convenient. Elevator was kind of slow.

We stayed two nights. The rooms and the common areas were clean. When we arrived the rooms were not ready even at the check in time 3 pm. The staff were not attentive enough to inform us about the delay in assigning the room and did not provide details of the coffee machine in the common area. The rooms did not have any coffee machine or microwave. There are plenty of places to get food within 5 min walking. The hotel did not have onsite parking. But provided a parking garage that gave discounted parking when validated - $50 + tax per day for SUV. Hotel also charged a mandatory hotel fee of $33/per day. They gave $29 credit per day to use towards any food or drink at the hotel cafe. The house keeping was be done every other day unless it is requested daily. Overall our stay was enjoyable.
- 3.5/5
The breakfast was amazing and so was the staff. I asked for face towels multiple times for 2 days and didn’t receive them. I complained about my faucet leaking and no one ever came to fix it.
- 4/5
Was amazing
- 5/5
For us, it could not have gotten any better very well located close to Times Square very friendly staff and also easy parking at LAZ parking on 39th price very reasonable for such a prime location
- 3/5
Nice location but the 1 of 2 elevators were out of service and the area outside of each room on the floors had no AC so waiting for the elevator in the lobby for 10-15 minutes in the NY heat was no fun
- 5/5
The staff gave great service and was very kind, the hotel is in a great location just 10 minutes away from Times square and broadway

- 4/5
This hotel was so perfect for us. It is literally right across from the port authority, so many places to eat and shop around the area. The subway is around the corner. Jonathon was so amazing. The room was so nice, the only problem was none of the outlets worked except one, so my daughter and I had to share. The engineer came but said he couldn't do anything about that, so the head engineer came and fixed it. They have a restaurant and bar, which they give you 29 dollars to use for that each day. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
close to everything in midtown

The Staff here at Distrikt was amazing. They really care about getting your concerns solved and are amazing problem solvers and are always ready to make your experience easy. Overall, small rooms, but great and clean rooms. Also, the food in the restaurant/bar down has great burgers and breakfast to use your credit on.

I've already given a "review" by answering the questions!

Needs better customer service shuttle took 1.5 hour to arrive we keep calling hotel the shuttle stops saw us and ask us to wait that they will be back took so long carpet in our room was burned and bathroom in side tub very slippery almost fall
- 5/5
Good location. Clean property. Staff was great at all times. Room was as expected from the pictures.
- 4/5
Just one elevator was working, very hot on a level, you get sweaty until elevator is coming. At 1.00 AM fire alarm started, but was false alarm.
- 5/5
THE STAFF!!!! So friendly and helpful. Ease of every interaction and encounter. From front desk, doormen and bartender. Only complaint, $18 Margarita was WAY too small for that price. I would definitely stay again, except for the mandatory "convenience fee". Couldn't even get two drinks without spending more money in a use it or lose it scenario, only disappointment.
- 4/5
Good location for tourist spots.
- 4/5
Had to keep giggling the toilet handle as it wouldn’t turn off. Lobby workers the first night was more concerned with giving bottle of wine to a group of young kids without carding them and took awhile for them to acknowledge us. Wasn’t told about the car service to airport until after we checked out and had uber ordered.

Every single employee at this hotel makes you feel like I’m welcome guest. This is my third time staying here and I highly recommend it as a cute little boutique right in the heart of Manhattan..
- 5/5
Perfect. Location, super helpful and friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms from which we heard almost none of the late night street noise. Slept so well!

After reading reviews about late-added costs upon check-in and witnessing customers in line ahead of me complaining about the same, I had some trepidation. In the end, I ended up paying exactly what hotels.com charged me, but only after a lengthy and confusing explanation at check-in about the $29 daily credit upcharge, from which you can deduct your breakfast charges, etc. This lead me to believe I'd be charged over what I'd agreed to with Hotels.com, which I went along with as I had no other options after a long day of travel. They told me that "all hotels in NYC do this"- this is not true, only about a third of those that I stayed in do, usualy the lower-price options like this one. At any rate, it all worked out in the end, and to my surprise the final bill was the hotels.com rate. Room was quiet- on 20th floor- but parts of the bathroom were falling apart (towel rack detaching from wall, shower nozzle loose, etc). Bed was comfortable, room very small but ok. Room generally clean, staff pleasant. Overall, an acceptable, but not spectacular, stay.
- 5/5
I have stayed at this property numerous times and I am never disappointed. It is an older building so it needs a little extra TLC but the staff is always on top of things with a smile on their face! Looking forward to our next visit at Distrikt!

this team is top notch. they pay attention and do it with a smile. shout out to Coco, Osei, Fatima, Zaida & Dennis

Convenient, affordable, and but no fridge, no room service!

Pretty clean and the staff was super friendly. Location is convenient but doesn’t feel very safe.

Crystal went out of her way to make my birthday in NYC special. Thank you! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was excellent for a two Broadway show day.
- 4/5
Very easy to walk to broadway to see shows. Hotel was clean. The room was very small. Staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, speedy checkin. Comfortable stay. Convenient locations .
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly helpful and wonderful even when I was briefly stuck in the elevator (which is a city maintenance issue, not a hotel issue). I was very accommodated and they even stored my perishable items in a refrigerated area for me. Wonderful and deserve a raise!
- 4/5
slow elevators, no microwave in the room
- 5/5
Good overall
- 1/5
I would not recommend this hotel, especially for solo female travelers. The area felt unsafe, (with many homeless individuals along the street) and the room itself was disappointing — small, poorly cleaned, and with a depressing view of a brick wall. It felt more like a prison cell than a place to relax. Definitely not worth the price.
- 4/5
The property was clean and stuff was nice. The only think i would change is the beds... they are out dated and uncomfortable.
- 3/5
I liked that the room was clean and the staff was kind, but it was noisy.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were terrific!
- 5/5
I had a fantastic stay—conveniently located close to the subway and Times Square. Everyone from the front desk to the valet was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable compared to other hotels on the same block. Would definitely stay again!
- 5/5
This was probably one of the nicest hotel experiences I've ever had in NYC. And right off the bat, I could tell the staff of the hotel were helpful and nice. Dennis was especially great and helped with bags and hailing an NYC taxi for me and arranging my ride to the airport at the end of my stay. Kudos to Dennis! Good food for breakfast too. I'd stay here again in a New York minute!
- 5/5
The people at the front desk offered exceptional customer service. The room was clean and the services offered were great. Will stay again

Location and credit which we used for breakfast. Staff were fab Bit scruffy externally- scaffolding up outside
- 5/5
Amazing staff at front desk. Delicious food, loved the coffee service, and evening meals. My sons were two doors down with their high school band so this gave THEM a bit of separation and ME a chance to unwind. My air con was not working but luckily it did not cause an issue in comfort overall.
- 5/5
My only concern was that one of the beds in one of the rooms had a significant ‘dip’ and the mattress needs to be changed. Otherwise it was a great experience!
- 4/5
Awesome Place!
- 3/5
Rooms are dark and inviting. Ok property and prices are usually decent.
- 5/5
Rooms are very quiet and clean but small. The staff is very friendly and helpful but you can only get ice if they bring it to your room and it took 4 requests across two days to get a bucket of ice. My mother's room was missing any hand soap and that took 90 minutes to get them to deliver it to her even though the front desk and bellman did not appear busy. The cafe/bar was nice with good food and service.
- 5/5
This is always my go to property when visiting NYC.
- 5/5
The front desk staff is attentive!! Shoutout to Rob!!!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay at Distrikt. The rooms were a really good size for NY hotels. Comfortable beds, really friendly and helpful staff and a nice hotel bar / restaurant space. I would stay here again.
- 4/5
The property was nice and clean on the inside. The outside had a construction platform setup that made the sign hard to see making the hotel hard to find. My room faced that platform so the view was not great.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff and clean rooms made for a nice two-night stay.
- 5/5
this stay was superb! great service, professional, friendly, helpful...in every way possible. housekeeping, front desk, restaurant/bar were all at the top of their game.
- 5/5
Clean, easy check in, helpful staff, very pleasant stay.
- 5/5
The staff was beyond amazing! From the beginning of my stay, I was greeted with amazing hospitality and they treated me like family. I will truly be back and they will be my number one choice for hotels when I visit New York
- 5/5
This is a beautiful hotel that has been completely updated. The room was clean and so comfortable. My daughter and I slept great and never had any noise issues. The staff is the best; they go the extra mile to ensure your stay is great and that you have everything you need. Breakfast was great and even had gluten free options. We will certainly be back again!
- 4/5
Location More “compact” than we’re used to!
- 4/5
The staff was very helpful. The room was very small, but serviceable.
- 5/5
This is my second visit to this hotel and once again ,they did not disappoint! The location is central to everything and since my visit included business both uptown and downtown, this spot was perfect. Strangely enough, although it is situated right next door to the Port Authority and a stone's throw from Times Square, the room is nice and quiet. The staff is so incredibly accommodating, kind and definitely make you feel welcome upon arrival and beyond. This is a superb value in NYC....keyword is VALUE. Yes, there are some chips in the paint but it is super clean and comfortable....HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my time at this property. It was very comfortable and accommodating. A special shout out to Chrissy for going the extra mile for me - I really appreciate you and everything you did to make my stay special! Overall a solid experience!
- 5/5
Awesome hotel and staff, and worth the value
- 5/5
The fact that when I walked in, EVERYONE treated me like family and I loved that!
- 5/5
The staff at the hotel are all incredible and so friendly! They make this place feel like a “home” The king rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have plenty of counter space.
- 4/5
Great staff!
