The room was nicely updated and well maintained and clean. The breakfast at Burgerology was very good. And the staff was extremely courteous, helpful and went out of their way to make sure all was good.

Check and staff are really well done. They are well trained they care about what they do. I felt right at home. Rooms are small, it isn’t their fault, but this is a terrible location in the city. Nothing but pot smoke, vagrant, traffic outside the hotel. It isn’t called Hells kitchen for no reason…

An early check-in was kindly arranged. All staff are very friendly. The room is spacious and clean. The lobby is somewhat small. It is a little far from the nearest subway station.

This was a repeat stay for me. The hotel is conveniently located near subway stops and nearby a convenience store. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well-kept and clean. Additionally, the hotel is quiet; you cannot hear other guests, which was helpful since I was traveling with kids this time.

Upon checking into the room, we observed that it had not been serviced, the blinds were in disrepair, and the USB ports were damaged. Consequently, we had to request a room change, which was an unsatisfactory experience.

Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and spacious by NYC standards. Our family had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

The room was small as expcted in New York apartments - the blinds were slightly torn, the street was a little grubby different from the picture shared in the advert. Location was not the greatest slightly grubby. The ligthing in hotel itself is a little dimmer than expected.

Great location. Attentive and kind staff. Quiet and clean room. Had umbrellas out and ready for us to use when it started to rain. We will definitely stay there again.

While the hotel and the staff were great, especially the housekeeping the location was not. This hotel is right next to a police parking garage and barracks, meaning that the noise is absolutely insane. From the hours of 11pm to 4am non stop sirens and some type of special alarm that they use to get through traffic is ear piercing is like a siren that reminds you of a zombie apocalypse warning. It drove us nuts. Not the hotels fault but we can’t believe no one has mentioned this. Never again!

I was extremely happy with my stay! The staff was so incredibly nice and shoutout to Jennifer for taking such good care of me after I had gotten off a red eye flight and long day of travel. Everyone was lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is top notch. Close enough to broadway and Times Square but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle. My only semi-issue was that everyone my AC turned on, I thought someone was breaking into my room and it woke me up often throughout the night. Aside from that, clean, comfortable, convenient and accommodating. Would stay here again!

The hotel and staff were wonderful. Although breakfast was good and offered a lot of variety, and the breakfast staff was very friendly and efficient, our experience with evening drinks and appetizers was disappointing. We cannot recommend the attached restaurant beyond breakfast. The evening food was mediocre, at best, and the bartender communicated poorly and was argumentative.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean from the moment we arrived. The staff went above and beyond—they were so friendly, helpful, and accommodating with anything we needed. On top of that, the rooms were a fantastic size, giving us plenty of space to relax. Will absolutely be back next time I’m in NYC!

What a great hotel! Booked my room with a 3rd party provider and needed to upgrade room at check-in, I was expecting the worst, but Yoni at the front desk was extremely helpful and changed my room from a single to a double with no upcharge. The room was spotless and the bed was super-comfy. At check out Jose made it easy to check our bags so it was a perfect stay from check in to check out.

Super comfy beds, loads of pillow choices, lovely room, would definitely recommend and would stay again. Round the corner from Penn station and Maddison Square. Central position off 8th St. Easy walking distance for all the tourist spots.

The location can't be beat. About a 5 minute walk from the train station and close to Penn Station and Times Square. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant had an excellent teaser salad w/ chicken that hit the spot after a long day of travel. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Most comfortable beds! room was always clean, staff very friendly and is located in a great location in the middle of everything! It rained one day on our stay and they offered complementary umbrellas! This was so thoughtful! I am glad I went with Crowne Plaza HY36 for my stay in New York!

They really made us feel at home and created such a warm and pleasant atmosphere. A special thank you to Edris, Yoni, Gurmey, and Kenny for their constant smiles and excellent service. And a very special thank you to Andrew for his exceptional service, attention to detail, and the truly warm and genuine way he treated us, something you don’t come across everywhere. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Was only 15 mins walk from Times Square and only two blocks from 34st Penn Station. The walls are paper thin, the air con is so noisy my ears hurt

The staff was very friendly. Always greeting us when we would arrive and when we would leave. The room was actually a decent size for a New York hotel. The room was clean and just right. We asked for more towels during our stay and they were quick to drop them off. The location was perfect, close to Penn Station.

Breakfast was awful. I was told it was sourdough bread, it was not. Porridge was stone cold and tasteless as made with water, had to return it. Came back hot but was obviously made with just water and no flavouring. Coffee was cold. Staff were stretched, room was not ready on arrival at 4pm. Asked for a quiet room, was given next to the lift. Mentioned it was my birthday and this was not acknowledged. Quite disappointed overall to be honest. Had high expectations.

Excellent hotel with a super friendly and helpful staff. Edris (front desk) and Jose (doorman, staff) made our stay very enjoyable. We were able to early check in by about 2 hours. Our room was clean and at the end of the hallway, so essentially noise free. Bathroom was very clean and water pressure was strong and consistent. Hotel bar was a little crowded but was a perfect option to wind down the evening. We had no issues and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be visiting again soon.

The property is literally two walking blocks from PENN STATION!! So convenient! Beautiful hotel! The staff was sooo friendly. Edris and John at the front desk were OVER accommodating!! They texted me to communicate, which made things so much easier than going down to the lobby. The restaurant downstairs had the BEST atmosphere, amazing, friendly staff, and the food was freshly made and delicious. Walking distance to some great spots and a short subway or cab ride to any other part of the city! I will 100% stay here again!

Clean nice hotel at a reasonable price. The lobby has a restaurant called Burgerology (which is a terrible and misleading name) BUT they serve much more than burgers and they have a cute bar too. no real complaints. If i must nitpick there is a door inside the lobby that is part of decor that looks kind of like an old worn out barn door. It seems misplaced and shabby. But that's me nitpicking.

Outstanding hotel. Had a five night stay just before Christmas We were welcomed with a drink of complimentary champagne. Staff were very friendly throughout our stay. Room had everything anyone should need and was exceptionally clean upon welcome and over the course of our stay, We were a two minute walk away from MSG, Times Square around 15 minutes walk away, there was a subway around the corner too for anything further out. Ideal location for anyone wanting to see the sights but be far enough away that it seems quiet. Will definitely be staying again when we head back over the pond!

Its a great hotel. The staff is amazing, very sweet and helpful. They let us check in early, scheduled a car for the airport, and answered any and all questions. The bar/ restaurant was equally fantastic.

The room was comfortable, clean, and available on very short notice. We booked it at 9:45 on Sunday night and arrived about an hour later.

It was a late check in and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. No room service or mini fridge. I expected much more of my hotel stay.

Friendly staff, big room. We had a room joined on to another guest so I would say I could hear them talking so that was the only downfall but apart from that I would highly recommend this hotel

It was located exactly where we could go in to see the Parade and get out of city when it was all over without any fuss. The hotel itself was well appointed and I appreciated they complimentary champagne. Would definitely stay here again.

Room had everything I needed - it was a little oasis of calm above the city, Yoni welcomed me and made me feel really valued as a guest on check in. Great location, would definitely stay here next time I'm in town.

The lighting in the room was very dark though and our room was opposite the lift which meant we had passing traffic all night of noisy people waiting for and getting out of the lift. The rooms were not very sound proof either and we could hear all of the noise from the neighbours next door either side. I did receive a number of messages during our stay asking if we needed anything to which I expressed the issues with noise. The staff did offer ear plugs and a change of room for our 4th night which would have been our last and we didn't want to upheaval on the last nigjht. We mqy have just been unlucky with our room. I can not fault the staff. Rooms were very clean and the restaurant next to the hotel was lovely.

My room was comfortable and modern. The bed was fantastic, and the bathroom had a clean, updated design that made the stay feel a bit more luxurious. The location is excellent an easy walk to Times Square and many surrounding attractions, and very convenient to reach the furthest parts of the city using public transport. Lots of restaurants nearby. Honestly, nothing major stood out that I did not like. My stay was smooth and comfortable. Everything met my expectations for a hotel in this price range. There wasn’t anything that really needed improvement during my visit.

Absolutely nuts. 90 percent empty. They mopped with chemical all aeound me whole I was eating. I ofdered to leave.

It is well situated to walk everywhere! We walked to Times Square/ theatre district, Central Park, shopping on 5th, shopping at the iconic flagship Macy’s store, and to Peloton Studios. The bellman Andrew hooked us up with travel back to the airport at a lower cost than we could get ourselves.

Our stay at the Crown Plaza HY360 midtown was by far the best stay in Manhattan area. Hotel is awesome, staff is very courteous and friendly. Very close to Penn station. Area is safe and centrally located.

Alfredo at the front desk was great! I had two rooms booked, was able to check in early for one which enabled us the ability to put our things down and not have to carry them on our adventures through the city. Located only two blocks from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station.

This hotel and its staff is absolutely amazing !! Shout out to Scott the night doorman who was so diligent, helpful and an all around nice guy to chat with and answer questions about Hudson Yard or Midtown :-) I couldn’t have asked for a better stay 🙌

Great location for MSG concerts. Easy to get to from Penn Station with lots of food around. Great staff and clean hotel and rooms. Friends stayed at another hotel close by that was not as nice by a long shot.

I liked the cleanliness of the room, and the staff were helpful and friendly. They even allowed us a late check-out, which I appreciated. The only thing I wasn’t too impressed with was the breakfast, which was just average.

Great location, worth money, accessible, responsive, only thing is not 100% sound proof, and you can hear people easily in hall. Cleaning comes at 10 and you will be woken up by them speaking in hall.

The $20 daily resort fee is annoying. Drop the fee and add it to the price of the room. Those fees make the hotel seem disingenuous.

I loved my stay here. The staff is quite attentive and always greets you whenever you’re coming in or going out of their property. The room was clean the only con was the lighting in the bathroom—my goodness. There are plenty of plugs in the bathroom for doing your hair and many tall mirrors which I loved.

The hotel was clean and updated. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a perfect location for a Broadway show and concert at MSG. Easy walk or Uber to everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend.

However, one downside was the immediate area surrounding the hotel. There was a noticeable presence of homelessness right next to the building, and unfortunately, the street often had a strong smell of urine but thats a lot of the streets. While this isn’t directly the hotel’s fault, it did impact the overall atmosphere when coming and going. That said, once inside the hotel, the experience was positive, and the service stood out. If you’re looking for great hospitality and don’t mind the challenges of Midtown’s street environment, this hotel is a solid choice.

We loved being on the back of the building away from street noises. We were on 6 and folks got ice all night long.

I've been to NYC a few times now, and this is by far the most quiet and clean hotel, which is very important to me. The employees were super personable and helpful. The attached restaurant, Burgerology, had yummy food and drinks. The hotel was centrally located, so it was easy to walk to Broadway for our show and Madison Square Garden for our concert. All around great experience, and will visit again.

Easy check and good location in midtown manhattan close to the west side of the island. The bed was comfortable and room was very clean and modern. 10/10

Cool well ran property.

The shower was leaking significantly hence why I keep requesting additional towels. The water seeped onto the carpet which cause a foul smell in the room throughout our stay. Also leaked onto the entrance and was slippery. I consistently had to wipe the floor with new towels after every shower. I wish the staff would’ve offer to move us to another room.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Crowne Plaza HY36, the staff were very pleasant & helpful, in particular Yoli & the Porter (sorry didn’t get his name, very helpful and always smiling) our room was clean & comfortable, the hotel is a great base for exploring NYC & nearby transport links at Penn station are excellent. We didn’t like being charged a resort fee, not sure what’s provided for that?? Coffee in room, no drinking water, even with the very high & humid temperatures. The air conditioning is extremely noisy. Overall a very pleasant stay

The courtesy of the employees and the service, the security was perfect, the rooms were impeccable, everything was excellent.

I just dont like that they charged me with facilities used fees and it’s not from the whole room fee.

They charge you $100 dollars for a “mandatory” package that cover WiFi and gym access. They don’t mention it until check out, in my case I just got the charge in my credit card, called the hotel and they said it was a mandatory fee. Paid for a room for 3 people and the hotel only includes breakfast for two people. Stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never cleaned the room. Other than that, location is good since the closest subway station is within 5-min walk so if you wanna stay here you should have $100 extra + amount you pay online

The rooms are a little cramped for 3 people with 2 double beds. I prefer queen beds when I'm with someone. The staff is amazing and friendly and greets every person when they return and wishes them a good day when going out. The location was very convenient for why we were there.

Check-in was quick and we were an hour early. The room was super clean and the staff was prompt with servicing the room while we were out. No real complaints. Even the check-out at 11am went pretty quick despite several people at the counter and waiting. I will keep this hotel in mind if I'm in the area again! Thank you!

At 3 AM Saturday morning, guests next door were shouting in the hallway, baging on doors. I had to go out and tell them to take their conversayion to the lobby. The location of the hotel was very good. The street was dirty and broken down and full of trash.

I loved my stay at Crowne Plaza Midtown hy36. My daughter and I enjoyed everything about this hotel! From the front door, to the front desk everything was so nice and clean, and everyone was so friendly. The restaurant was great! The food and drinks were very tasty. Whenever we come back to New York City, we would most definitely stay at this Crowne Pkaza again!

We had a great family vacation to NYC. Enjoyed staying at this clean hotel, great location. Great service by Ryan and Kenny. Very friendly staff. Walking distance to best pizza in the world!! Joe’s pizza! Make sure you try Burgerology it is just downstairs. The chocolate milkshake was absolutely amazing!

Won't stay anywhere else if I visit New York again. Location is right off the hustle and bustle of 8th Avenue. Loved Burgerology and their daily happy hour. Door men were super helpful and personable(especially the one with the beard). Overall amazing experience.

This stay was amazing from check in to check out... The hotel is centered perfectly gpt walking distance to give square, subway platforms and public transportation... The staff was amazing from beginning to end.....i can't say enough about this hotel and the staff. They greet you with champagne at check in, provide umbrellas when it's raining and and right on the spot with whatever you need.

The floor were sticky to the point where it hurt to walk on. The toilet stank and there was pubic hairs everywhere. Got it for my bfs birthday, I was so embarrassed to say the least. Disgusting!
