Staff very friendly, lobby, hallways, elevator clean. The room was nice, T.V is huge, with lots of options to choose on what to watch, overall a great experience.

Very good location, very good furnishing, very kind staff. On the first floor you can buy a good breakfast and Starbucks coffee/tea. I could let my baggage on the last day for few hours at the hotel. I can only recommend it for women traveling alone. The room was a little bit dark because the inner courtyard was surrounded by other buildings and I was located quite far down on the 10th floor. But since I was the whole days outside, it was not a problem to me.

Wish they had a discount for the people that stayed there.

Rooms were nice, comfortable and not micro tiny. Cost - prices for Manhattan hotels are way too high. Taxes and additional charges alone were about $100!

It was clean and central to all our excursions. The staff was very friendly as well. The only thing would be neighbors in a nearby room were a little loud with a radio on in the morning. But it wasn’t that bad.

The room and staff were the highlight for me! The porter for the suitcases was absolutely lovely- he went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth as possible. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself but staying in Times Square can be quite rowdy and there a loads of random people around. As for the hotel, I wasn't aware of the $50 incidental deposit although every hotel in NY seems to have one but wasn't infomed beforehand, wasn't as clear.

The property was very close to Penn Station, so we were able to walk over and leave our bags before check-in! The hotel was perfect for our stay, conveniently located, clean and comfy. We were even allowed to leave our bags after check out, so we could take advantage of the city, without lugging our stuff around with us! Will book again!

Convienent Booking should disclose that you have to pay extra fees when you arrive on property. I had to pay an extra 150.00$ which I thought was covered by the price when it says "taxes and fees included"

The rooms are quite new. They are very clean. The room I stayed was a bit small and had no view, but I was spending all my time out sightseeing, so this was not a major issue. It is quite central, 5 mins walking to Times square and 5 mins walking to metro (e.g central Penn Station). The staff are very polite and helpful. No long waits at the receiption. The prices are reasonable for NYC, I guess. In overall, I am pretty satisfied. The room I was staying was a bit small, but I was OK with it.

The hotel was good but the staff at the reception is very unwelcoming and rude. They didn't know what to talk and were charging more than the booking price. We also got the room 1 hr late almost. Checkin time was 4 and we got the room around 4.45 as they were not ready.

Good location in Midtown if you need to stay close to Penn Station, Hudson Yards, Times Square, Broadway, ESB, 5th Avenue, Bryant Park, etc. The room size was decent for New York, and the area felt safe even for me as a solo female traveler returning from Times Square around 1am. I also appreciated the smart TV that could connect to my phone and the free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out. I never received a response to my messages on Booking.com. The staff was not particularly friendly or welcoming, no smiles and not very helpful overall. I asked if it was possible to get a room on a higher floor, but I was told I would need to book a higher room category for that. I stayed on the 12th floor with a street view, but note anything below the 20th floor is probably too low to offer a great view. One more thing I personally did not like was the bathroom setup. I would have preferred a proper walk-in shower with a handheld shower head, but the room had a bathtub with a fixed overhead shower, which seems pretty typical in the US.

By far the best hotel I've stayed in! The location is ideal and so close to local shops/restaurants, Times Sq, Broadway etc. Various subway locations just walking distance also. We arrived at 1.30pm and were able to check in and refresh before heading out. The staff were friendly and welcoming, also very helpful with questions. I would highly reccomend this hotel!

The staff were very friendly except for one young tall guy who didn't even want to look up when talking to us. The hotel location was excellent. It was close to subway and port authority. We felt safe. Gym was open 24/7 which was nice as well. Rooms were basic but well maintained

I had an amazing check-in experience with Crystal. We were able to check in right away with no issues at all. The staff was very welcoming every time we entered and left the hotel. Our rooms were nice and clean. They ask you if you would like to have room service every day or every other day. The Wi-Fi is good. This is close to a lot of locations and train stations so it was very easy to get around there is a 24 hour ping-pong place right next-door which was super fun. There is Starbucks breakfast. The coffee is great and they offered coffee recommendations. Water pressure was great and the hot water stayed hot.

Early check-in and late check out were offered. Check-in overall was fantastic and smooth. Staff was very nice. No complaints.

The hotel was situated in a convenient location, was very clean and had the best staff. They were attentive, caring, thoughtful, helpful, professional and so nice to chat with. The bistro had an array of delicious breakfast offerings and in the evening, a nice bar to relax at. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable. And there was always hot water in the shower. We’ll definitely be returning.

Great location, close to most most tourist site.,and in walking distance to the train station and tha Madison Square Garden.

Easy to find, close enough to walk to anywhere we needed to go, refrigerator in the room, very quiet with regard to everything- we didn't hear our neighbors or anyone in the hallway, street noise, or any ruckus from elevators or ice machines! Also, the room was absolutely spotless (thanks, Tameka!) and the towels were presented so nicely. Appreciated that Crystal checked us in early- very early! without us even asking for this. We had assumed we'd drop off our bags and return later in the evening, but when we rolled up a little before 1100, she gave us our room cards and said, "Welcome!" Probably not an issue- doesn't look like we were charged anything extra so far- but we left the rooms at 1010, had checked our luggage into day storage by 1015, and the statement said we didn't check out until 1244. Seems like a totally random time and seems slightly suspicious that it was assigned well after the designated/posted checkout time and the time we actually left and checked out.

The rooms was ready right when we got there. The staff was really nice and when we had a question the answer it really well. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything, specially if your neighbors are loud. They have a very low score when it comes to energy but whilst we were there we didn’t have any problems whit that.

Nice and helpful staff. Room was comfortable and very clean. A/C worked well. Neighbors in room next door were having a party and it was very noisy all night so it was difficult to sleep. We called the felrint desk.but it seems.not.much was done to help. Also, the garage where we were dirwcted to park is slightly.leas expensive that valet at hotel, but be aware that thw6 chrge extra for any type of SUV-like vehicle. Otherwise, the location was cinvenient and were able to.walk.everywhere. We found a great coffee shop a few doors down as well.

This hotel Is exactly what you need if you are looking for smart accommodations while visiting New York. Modern rooms comfortably appointed (late model TV screens, very comfortable beds, nice bathrooms). The staff is amazing, I was especially grateful to Crystal Morales and her cheery disposition and highly effective service. The property is great. Perhaps the only recommendation would be to have late night snacks prepared by the Bistro for guests who want a late bite. Courtyard’s model does not offer room service (that’s why such good value for money) but having limited options could help in that sense.

It was a nice hotel in a great location When I was checking my credit card statement I noticed that they charged me an additional $50 when I checked out! I called them and they said they couldn't give me any information without a Marriot reservation number. They said that I had to go through Booking.com. Booking said that since I paid the hotel directly I had to deal with them. When I called them again they were very rude to me and gave me the run around.

Staff was very professional and upbeat and kind upon check-in. They reminded me to add my Bonvoy account number and the process was super quick. The rooms were a nice size - which is significant in Times Square. The location is perfect. I would absolutely stay here again.

The front desk staff were super helpful and kind with a smile. Crystal checked us in and made our check in process quick and seamless. She was personable and informative. She even remembered to inquire about my Marriott number to update my account. My wife and I were grateful and thanked Crystal My room was facing the inner part of the building on the 10th which made the view less desirable. But the come back was the room having a mini fridge. That’s a Win. Point of Ref- Around the corner from Chef Yu and T-Mobile. Con - Rooms are very compact, petite. Free breakfast is not available. Ice machine was only on select floors and mine was not one of those floors

The room is quite small. If you stay below the 20th floor, you can’t really see much of New York’s views—it feels like you’re staying inside a huge air shaft. The hotel doesn’t provide free water, so you have to buy it yourself. The pillows are too soft, and they gave me a headache.

The location is excellent; close to Times Square, Broadway, MSG, several restaurants, and multiple subway lines, making it easy to get around the city. The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were absolutely AMAZING, making our stay even more enjoyable. Katherine & Gerardine at reception were extremely helpful in sorting out an issue with our Expedia reservation upon our arrival. A special shoutout to Katherine, Crystal & Aaron, whom were all so friendly & helpful with any questions/requests we had (we were always greeted with smiles upon our return from sightseeing!). We cannot wait to stay here again for our next trip!

Great location in mid town to go up or down Manhattan. Close to attractions, subways, food and shops.

The room was very nice and quiet, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. However, at check in, the TV was already on and there was noticeable dust on the table in front of the TV, which gave the impression that the room may not have been fully checked before arrival. Overall, the stay was comfortable, but more attention to detail during room preparation would improve the experience.

This was a great hotel for a weekend of Broadway, shopping, Rockefeller Center, etc. The rooms were clean and spacious. The convenience of being able to get a quick breakfast in the lobby area was appreciated! Would recommend!

Staff were great! Welcoming as soon as we walked in. Check in was a breeze and even gave us a little tour. Staff were always asking us if we needed help with anything throughout our stay. Room was clean Best stay I have had in awhile. Would recommend to others and will definitely be returning. Great Job.

Room was very clean. Building overall clean. Asked for extra towels and sheets, staff brought them up to my room fast.

Big rooms and very clean. The layout is very good. Room to put luggage and hang your clothes. Beds were comfortable enough. Really liked the full size mirror with good lighting. Many hotels forget that. Would stay here again for sure.

The receptionist, Giselle, was very pleasant and attentive, and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was in excellent condition—though a bit small, with the bed positioned close to the door, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable stay overall.

Facility was very clean, staff was extremely helpful and location was central. Will definitely plan to reserve this location again.

Due to flight delays, my daughter and I found ourselves stuck at JFK at midnight, delayed for 2 nights. Jumped in a taxi and booked this hotel on the move as allowed a late check in and was a decent price. Arrived 30 minutes later and were checked in personally. Room small but functional and very comfortable. King bed very comfortable, decent size bathroom and great shower. Guest laundry was a plus, which was great as we only had one set of travel clothes (other than shorts as we had been in Florida). Location is good, very walkable to lots of places and close to the subway. Quite a lot of homeless around the surrounding streets but never felt uncomfortable. Great for a short stay (2/3 nights), would stay agsin. Staff lovely very helpful. .

Bomb on the street sleeping right next to the hotel it’s not good for Business or went travelier comes and stays and see things like that next to hotel , But that’s NYC is to expect things like that . But other than that everything was nice and clean we love it everything was walking distance and places I want visit was pretty much not far . Was amazing 3days . Clean room, the staff member Crystal on front desk was honestly amazing we are from Bermuda and my husband was sick in hospital. I had called a few managers and they were not helpful at all in the moment of stress the female manager said im sorry you will have to go online. I called Crystal and she made it all happen. Her pesonality, how she articulated and dealt with my husband who couldnt walk. We will always come back and stay with you because of Crystal. Simply amazing

surprised that there were no amenities in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, we booked originally for the convenience since we had a concert at MSG but ended up satisfied of the room and location as well. We were able to check in early, housekeeping is supposed to be every 3 days but they made sure to ask what is best of us and we felt safe in the area.

The room assigned was clean, a little small but it was clean upon entry and housekeeping service it throughout the duration of the stay. HECTOR was excellent from check-in and throughout the stay he was exceptional. I will be back

The staff were warm and friendly. I was able to get a very early check in, which was very helpful for transitioning from long travel. The only thing that was disappointing was that the cafe closed early and did not have p.m. options. But, there are a number of wonderful restaurants nearby to enjoy, so it wasn't much of a problem. Also, water fountains to refill bottles would be a bonus, too.

The rooms are clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious for New York standards. The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being in such a busy area. The lobby and common spaces were well maintained and gave off a calm, professional vibe.

Had an accessible room that was clean and easy to navigate by my 92 year old mother. Staff was very friendly and extremely helpful.

The view that was advertised by Expedia is not accurate. The only view we had was a dirty street filled with drug addicted homeless people and prostitutes. Not a safe area, would not recommend. Gangs, drugs, violence, not a good area. Men screaming curse words at women.

The breakfast was meh. But otherthan that a good property. Oh and gym was also meh. But still overall clean and quiet and modern.

Room was very clean and beds where very comfortable staff where great no problems inside the hotel but outside wasn’t very clean there was a lot of homeless on the street outside of the hotel

The only downside is the location. The hotel is right beside a harm reduction center, so there are often people struggling with substance use gathered outside. At times, this meant seeing individuals sleeping on the street or openly using, which can feel unsettling. While the hotel itself is great, the surroundings may not be ideal for everyone. That being said, the hotel has great security and we never felt unsafe.

The hotel was convenient to Times Square within walking distance and many dining restaurants. The hotel was near many shops. Parking is a short walk from the hotel entrance for an additional cost. Hotel staff were super pleasant and check in was very quick. Rooms were spotless. I will for sure stay again.

Most all staff except for two ladies at the desk were amazingly friendly and helpful. Typically staff at the Marriott but would return here again for sure.

Very clean

Small room with a terrible view on the 18th floor, but that is what i reserved. I didn’t opt for the city view, which i will next time. King size bed. The room in general was smaller than what im used to. Big bathroom, big shower. Very clean - no complaints at all there. Everyone we encountered was nice. We would definitely stay here again.

All staff professional and accommodating. The outside area was a bit shady. Homeless people close by and their areas were very dirty. As a general statement the city is pretty dirty. Despite this comment, we love NYC and will return again and again!

Crystal was always cheerful and welcoming whenever we passed through the lobby, which made us feel right at home. A special mention also goes to Aaron Whitening, the bell attendant, who greeted us with a warm smile every day. He went above and beyond by helping us store our bags and even arranging our car service to the airport. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and hospitality were outstanding. We felt truly cared for during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York City – it’s a perfect choice!

Fairly priced hotel for overnight stay in midtown NYC. Nothing fancy but modern, clean and safe. Surrounding area is Times Square so expect loud and dirty wirh lots of homeless hanging out on the street.

Crystal at the front desk was kind and friendly, the hotel was lovely. Rooms were small, but not cramped, with lovely windows along the whole wall. The bathroom was roomy and the location was perfect. I will absolutely be returning.

We had a nice stay. Gave it a 4/5 due to location. Convenient shops near by but seemed sketchy in some areas.

The inside of this place kind of helps forget there’s a mess outside. Yet this was a work related stay so I appreciate the experience. Bedding and bath areas were excellent as well as dining area. Lots of garbage on the streets outside but staff members do their best to maintain a clean area.

During my stay they never came to clean my room, waste paper baskets overflowing, did not change sheets or towels and then the front desk accused me that I must of requested housekeeping not clean my room. I was there for 3 days.

We liked staying at this property. Very convenient to train station and Times Square - walkable. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Room very modern, clean, with walk-in shower. Offered dining and a bar (we did not use); offered use of dining space for hotel guests to sit (and eat their own food); Safety key card entry after 11pm; Safety in surrounding neighborhood (Remember, you're visiting a big city - always be aware!)

This hotel was fantastic. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfy. There were homeless people sleeping on the block constantly, but this is NYC. I did notice people continually cleaning outside on the block too, which made the issue. a non-issue.

The property was nice and had breakfast and dinner options. Friendly staff convenient shopping and dining around the area. My daughter and I went to the movies and it was a four min walk. The only thing is that there is some night time activity across the street felt a little uneasy walking home. Other than that great stay!!

Cafe was closed most of our stay

Unfortunately, my stay was disappointing. The area around the hotel felt unsafe, with many loiterers and ongoing construction that made the street even more uncomfortable. The room itself was very small and not worth the price. Check-in was supposed to be at 4:00 PM, but our room wasn’t ready until 4:30 PM, so we had to wait around despite arriving on time. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless the location and conditions improve significantly.
