The customer service by the staff is consistently of a high standard. The porters and storage staffare especially helpful and knowlegeable. The hotel is very conveniently located with decent amenities.

Cheaply furnished rooms with poor maintenance. Blinds not working, hinges broken to desk and room phone not working properly. Staff were responsive to issues but it was a disappointment for the 5 star hotel stay we paid for and expected.

Great location . Convenient . Large room . View is great . Bar closes too early at 11pm. Staff doesn’t want to serve you after 10:30pm. The lobby doesn’t have coffee shop open in the afternoon or evening. Room service closes early .

Excellent Rooms, Immaculate, Every Request was Accommodated. We forgot our iPad in the room while checking out and they mailed it back via Fedex. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Stay at the Conrad was excellent. They upgraded upon arrival. Room was super clean, roomy and packed with amenities. Bed was comfortable and extremely clean. I highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

Bellhop was great. Very quiet location in Manhattan. The only problem I had was that they charged me $100 to check in early. In my opinion, if a room is ready, let me check in. How does it cost extra to let me check in to Room that is ready?

The staff upon arrival and for turn down service was wonderful. The room is always so well thought out. I really like having slippers and a robe, although there was only one robe for some reason. The shower is great and everything is very comfortable. The car service was way too delayed upon leaving. I waited 45 minutes for my car and was late to my destination because I didn’t anticipate more than a 20 minute wait. I would have appreciated the option to not have a mini bar fridge, just have it empty for some take out.

The overall cleanliness, the smell of the place! I felt safe and so comfortable! Amazing bedding, the blackout curtains, i could list a number of things really. Not so much about the property more so i was disappointed to not find toothpaste in the bathroom. On the bright side, as soon as i called the concierge they sent me a kit!

The property was very well kept and the staff was very nice as well. The location was amazing as we had appointments in the One World Trade Center. It was literally a 2 minute walk away. I’d definitely stay there again.

I love this property. The location is beautiful with a mix of water views/greenery but still very much NYC. The staff are phenomenal. I highly recommend sitting at the bar in the lobby restaurant or the bar on the rooftop and talking to the staff, they’re exceptional.

The rooms towards the street are very noisy. The hair dryer was not working and it took them about 2 hours to get me a new one.The water dispenser needs to be rebooted by staff if there is some kind of service interruption. Overall, I liked the hotel very much but these were the things I experienced.They are not fast with room service.

Manager called us during a $600 dinner out to tell me I was locked out of my room that was prepaid then was told we will get a free night now I have to do all sorts of follow up with Expedia to get this right. Beyond belief in a hotel of this caliber this has to go on the property is beautiful, but they should bet their managers a little bit more carefully to me what they say and say what they mean. In addition, we couldn’t go to the rooftop bar because it was “fully committed.” I guess that means they were busy isn’t that what New York is that’s one of the reasons we booked the hotel. So $1000 down the drain for what was supposed to be a special weekend that just turned out to be a headache and an annoyance. I guess if you book on Expedia and something goes wrong don’t expect to get your money back.

This was my first time staying at the Conrad Downtown. I have stayed nearby at a smaller hotel on West Broadway for many years but thought to try something different given how noisy the W Broadway hotel is. In that regard the Conrad did not disappoint. It offers great views of the Hudson River as well. The location is somewhat tranquil given the general noise and traffic of NY and a minute walk to the west side bike path which is great for running. It’s a very large corporate hotel which I didn’t realize but adjusted to. The location isn’t great for taking the subway (about 10 minutes to the nearest station (E at World Trade) or 13 minutes to 2&3 station at Chambers St/West Broadway. And it takes a while to catch an elevator during rush hour morning times which can be annoying (a smaller hotel generally doesn’t have this issue). I also didn’t realize you couldn’t remove items from the mini-bar to store your own things but they made amends by bringing me my own mini-refrigerator. House cleaning was great but don’t turn on the privacy/do not disturb for too long or they post a notice saying they have the right to inspect the room after 24 hours. Again - these are very corporate policies that I wasn’t used to. Gym was nice. After making some adjustments the stay got better. Bed was very soft was my only complaint and carpet could be a touch cleaner. Overall I would recommend with these caveats but I still might go back to my noisy small hotel.

They did not have to do that!! The staff was friendly & was 100% the best, fanciest & cleanest hotel I was in. Was worth the price!!

This property gave me so much joy to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary with my husband!! It was a great getaway with a wonderful area to walk around. Shout out to KC the Bartender at Altrio(spellcheck). The room was beautiful and spacious. The bed was a chef kiss. The only reason I took a stsr away is because of the elevator situation. With a hotel that big, 2 elevators aren't enough. Even though that was bothersome, I'd still return

This is the second time we've stayed here, after a stay a number of years ago. This is probably the most comfortable hotel room I've stayed in anywhere, a certainly in NYC. Beds extremely comfortable, a teriffic shower and a nice design that leaves plenty of room to relax. Location convenient to downtown and transportation uptown.

I really enjoyed the Conrad.

The hotel is beautiful, it could use some renovations ; curtains, new mattresses, and bathrobes. The curtains didn’t look up to part ; they were dingy. The mattress I slept in had bumps in it and it was very hard. I think they are due for a change. The staff was kind, friendly and helpful. I think that I overlooked any failings just because of the things mentioned above just because of the staff. It was a wonderful stay.

This was our second time staying at this fabulous hotel. Great location for exploring lower Manhattan and so close to the Newark airport, too. The room was so spacious, really a suite with sitting area and an amazing shower I’ll never forget, like standing under a waterfall. The robes were so soft and bedding really comfortable, too. We slept very soundly. The room was quiet and staff very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The room is very well designed with a shower, toilet and bar in the middle, while the sofa and desk on the one end, and nice king size bed on the other side with views. It’s a great set up for longer term stay. My kids and I really enjoy the comfort of the suite. As a bonus, their restaurant is unassuming and their pizza is to die for (speaking from someone who doesn’t usually eat a lot of carbs).

Property was gorgeous. Great location. We ordered room service and the food was phenomenal. Staff was very pleasant and always accommodating.

Love this hotel but the housekeeping was not up to par this time. Dishes weren’t taken out of the room and our tea wasn’t replenished.

we have a son with special needs who wakes very early…staff couldn’t have been nice or more accommodating bringing up breakfast food for him to take with his meds before in room dining opened. extra helpful and prompt bringing gino extra towels and pillows and making up pullout couch. all staff are polite courteous helpful and compentent. priority decorated beautifully for holidays. Love the new auto water refills and bottles provided in the room. Lighting options in rooms also amazing!! Love this hotel!

For the price paid, I am not sure it’s worth it to stay here. If you need anything for the room you need to go downstairs to talk to someone. There was no one picking up on the phone. Room buttons for example for lighting are not intuitive and need better AC/Heating controls. But mostly the service was disappointing. I had to request turn down service and even when we got it I had to remind the staff about chocolates.

Notch. We stayed during a busy time so we enjoyed the quietness of Downtown, but if you want to stay in the chaos, this isn’t your hotel. Side bonus - amazing shower.

On check in the desk representative gave us the impression she was changing our suite to a more sizable suite on the ground floor. Almost and upgrade. The bed room was a little larger however the living room and shower were considerably smaller. The room 238 was next to a staff service room which was very noisy. While not terrible it was the most disappointing accommodations we’ve had at the Conrad Downtown after years and multiple trips to the hotel. Not a good recommendation by the hotel representative.

My second time staying here and again a great place to stay.

The Conrad is a beautiful hotel. I especially loved how big the room/suite was, so very unusual in Manhattan.

Wish there was a new language so this won't get overlooked. In my humble opinion, this place is Simply the best. Shoutout to Armando and the whole staff. From the gentleman that attend to your belongings to the valet. All official.

It is an excellent area , clean and quiet. The hotel is really well mentained.

This was literally the first spacious hotel that I found in NY. Typically the hotel rooms are so tight, but this was perfect! I loved the wet bar with the additional sink and mirror. The seating space was nice as well. Oh and Solomon the doorman was exceptional! So friendly, so knowledgeable. We will be back!!

We felt at home during our 3 night/4 day stay.

The Conrad Hotel has beautiful interior design. Rooms are clean but a little small but that is New York. Shower is great, roomy , great water pressure, nice smelling soap. Quite pricey for the space though. Breakfast so so an over priced. Drinks were awesome on the rooftop bar.

The Conrad is a fantastic hotel. From the architecture, to the staff's professionalism and kindness, everything was above our expectations.

Location is away from the business and chaos.

Just expensive

It would be better if the design from the restaurant was continued throughout the rest of facility (natural woods, white, plants, beaded glass hanging). Speaking of food breakfast was amazing, but dinner and in room dining was limited... Also the rooftop bar doesn't serve food.... Mixed nuts and drinks. Otherwise the hotel is very clean and comfortable and service is top notch. I would certainly return with my family!

quiet and clean

Amenities and staff are excellent and took care of our every need

Due to the layout, it is a bit echoey - I could hear people speaking downstairs from the 8th floor. Heard lots of kids playing so I looked out the door - must have been downstairs. The sink in our bathroom was stopped up. The housecleaning staff rang our doorbell aggressively even though we had requested privacy.

Arrived early. Tried to check in. Lauren had the worst attitude and was the most unhelpful front desk staff I have ever experienced. She should not be on the front line. What could have been an easy interaction turned out to be horrific. Zero stars for her. Everyone else 4-5 stars.

Wonderful property and was treated beautifully from sign in to sign out process. They even accommodated a late check out for me.
