Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's location and friendly staff, but many express dissatisfaction with hidden fees, construction noise, and lack of amenities. The cleanliness of the rooms and quality of the beds receive mixed reviews.
- Convenient location
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Hidden fees and poor communication about charges
- Construction noise and lack of amenities

Convenient for walking around. Nice and clean room just little noisy when people talking and walking.

Exceptional
- 3.5/5
Loved the bar, communal areas and pool albeit pool is run by an external party and expensive. Room size was small as the balcony counted as part of the sq ft
- 5/5
Coda is great location for me to stay when I visit my daughter in Green Point, but also easy subway ride to Manhattan. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are comfortable and clean.
- 4.5/5
Loved the location, easy to walk everywhere we had to be at. We had the room right at the top of the elevator and it was a bit noisy for my son.
- 2.5/5
The walls on the 4th Floor looked messy and touched up here and there. The cover to the room key to enter my room fell off and I had to pick it back up and put it on. For the amount of money I paid, the room did not measure up to my standards, nor the walls in the hallway. It was a 3-star stay at best.
- 4.5/5
I loved to location and the facilities, the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly!! Very easy and simple location. I would recommend and will definitely be back!! The pool was only opened from 2pm to 6pm.
- 4/5
Location was perfect for us! Rooftop bar and bar tender was awesome! Gym has much larger than expected, great selection of machines and weights. The pool was a huge draw to stay here, or even the outdoor space. The pool and all of its surrounding lounge area was not open from 10-6pm. We had class until 5:30 most days and it would have been nice to relax for bit while the sun was out outside after. We were told no because there wasn’t a lifeguard on duty.
- 3.5/5
Location. Staff was very accommodating. Facilities need attention ie no waste basket in room. No place in bathroom to place towels.
- 1.5/5
Comfy bed Hotel photos were misleading. Looks like a new and nice hotel. It is really an old space that clearly is trying to update to look modern. Room was incredibly loud from banging in the elevator all night. Room was not soundproof, could clearly hear everyone in hall and it woke me up constantly. Amenties in room are lacking. Shower needs upgrade as handle was not secure and looked like a cheap fix. Lighting in room was terrible.
- 5/5
Best staff of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in

- 3/5
We needed to be around Brooklyn / Williamsburh so the location was perfect. The hotel was clean and serviced daily by the housekeeping staff. Refurbishment in progress, hence noise in the foyer. Also 2 false fire alarms during our 5day stay. The beds were very low.
- 4/5
Nicely presented (inside), good decor, comfortable room. Shame we were there out of season so the pool area was a bit of a construction site.
- 2/5
Disappointing
- 4/5
The room felt safe, quiet, comfy, nice view of the park area. Parts of the room were really outdated. Had to move night stands to access outlets, empty cabinet where a small fridge used to be, picture covering what used to be a frosted window in the bathroom. Staff were nice. Check in and check out were smooth. I would stay again. Restaurant in basement had very good food. Pool was not yet open, and roof top bar was closed when I tried to check it out around 9 pm. Those are likely very nice amenities.
- 5/5
Perfect location near L Train (easy access to Manhattan) and super cool and chill neighborhood with great shops and bars. Rooms clean and decent size, with great bed, huge tv, and nice showers. Lovely staff!

- 3.5/5
Great location, clean and very comfortable. Housekeeping very friendly. Restaurant Meili was great and the rooftop was lovely at sunset. No fridge in room (can be requested though), pool outdoor area undergoing renovation.
- 4/5
Room with balcony provided extra space.Comfortable bed.Towels changed every day. Tea and coffee facilities in room. More powerful hairdryer.
- 5/5
Allison at the font desk was awesome and always quick to help. The beds could use a mattress pad over the plastic mattress cover, that is my only real critique. Will return!
- 3/5
The room was smaller than expected. When I entered the room, they must have upgraded someone because there was a welcome card for another guest instead of me. There was a private event going on upstairs, so I didn't get to check out the amenities. Overall, the room and common areas were clean, and the staff were friendly /helpful.
- 5/5
Good value in a great Brooklyn location.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at the Coda Williamsburg.
- 5/5
Perfect boutique stay. Great location. Manhattan is easily accesible but this is more friendly neighbour feel. Super trendy. Beautiful stay. Cannot fault it!
- 4/5
Shame the pool was closed. Also a $45 per night resort fee, not really sure what for. Good location and comfy bed
- 5/5
Get stay! Will do this again!
- 1/5
Smallest, most uncomfortable rooms. Least helpful staff. No bell staff to help with bags. Ordered ice to the room, which took an hour to get.
- 5/5
Location location location, I am not a local , I visit new yor k all th time I live in Connecticut. A nice staycation place , close to all nice restaurants, shops and night life too. Local foods a, spirits and vintage stores near by. Great boutique hotel
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly.
- 4/5
Comfy beds, nice layout and helpful front desk staff.
- 5/5
Perfect stay in perfect area
- 4/5
Everything was wonderful..if only I could have used the television and cable. It was a total mystery as to how to work it and no one at the desk could help. They suggested sending am engineer to help, but as a woman traveling alone that was. It an option.
- 5/5
Very large gym & conference room, great service for staff, very clean lobby and common areas
- 3/5
stay was just okay, nothing extraordinary. room was pretty clean.
- 5/5
great location and attentive staff
- 1/5
I would strongly look at other options
- 4/5
I liked the location. Hotel was perfectly fine. It's worth mentioning that the bed was very low to the ground. Could be challenging for some.
- 3/5
Paper thin walls. Loud consistent banging. Otherwise fine.
- 3/5
The place is pretty nice, great location, good staff, but here's where my issues lie. I didn't appreciate the mandatory resort fee 45$ per day for water i didnt need, and a pool i didnt use. The gym was cool but i didnt use it. I feel cheated. Not to mention its unacceptable to pay for a deluxe room and not have a mini fridge to keep my drinks and food safe and cold. Overall i left feeling bitter. They should improve on those things.
- 4/5
Yes
- 5/5
Thank you!
- 3/5
Like many of the Boutique hotels this fits the bill. Maybe even Micro Boutique. BEWARE: many of the rooms have the mattress on the floor. No box springs. Being 80 year old this would have been near impossible but we were able to change to a box spring off the floor. One small closet. One drawer. Used one nightstand and two suitcase racks to place and access our two suitcase. For Bathroom toiletries have a window shelf and small sink top only. Entire staff were great in every way. Restaurant in hotel Shezuan- exceptional.
- 4/5
Great service, clean, and comfy bed. For the price it would have been nice to have a kettle and Tea in the room.
- 4/5
Great location, the size of the room was great, bed was super comfy and bathroom was nice (although we didn’t have any hot water for 2 of the days, but I think they were trying to actively fix this). Staff was a bit hit and miss - some members were lovely whereas some were quite grumpy. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Great location and staff. Clean nice sized room. Can’t wait to return
- 5/5
Friendly staff and clean room.
- 5/5
Very comfortable rooms and nice staff.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff were helpful
- 3/5
Stay was okay, resort fee is just silly. Lukewarm showers :/
- 5/5
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The only downfall would be there is no toiletry counter space. Staff was friendly and attentive.
- 2/5
Not a great hotel for the high price point. Hair all over the linens, balcony door wouldn’t shut tight/was drafty, small, hard bed, and outdated furniture. The highlight was the front desk clerk who was amazing both at check in and check out.
- 4/5
Big bed, quiet area, updated bathroom
- 5/5
Was upgraded to a really nice room
- 5/5
Location is great. Staff is excellent. Room was great enough space for two/three people
- 3/5
The room was quite small noting that the square footage which seemed larger was so because of balcony. Bathroom sink tended to splash everywhere. Shower was nice. Bed was comfortable and the place was accommodating. No coffee in room but have in lobby for free. Perfectly good location but too expensive in my view for what you get. Pricey resort fee for not much in return. Staff was nice.
- 3/5
Hate to give it 3 stars. Staff was excellent and accommodating, great location. However, there was a lot of noise at night making it difficult to sleep and woke us early in the morning. For some reason There was a storage closet beside our room door and could hear staff after 10pm.
- 5/5
Great staff and rooms.
- 5/5
Coda is a gem - with a Williamsburg vibe and a spectacular staff that will welcome you and care for you the entire time you stay. I love the lobby, from the fun motorcycle that sits there to the photo booth, tons of NYC tee shirts and gifts, and so much more. This place is in the heart of Williamsburg, and is charming in every way. I will be back!
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The Coda was pretty good. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. They do have a few maintenance issues but they are helpful.
- 5/5
Great service. Great location!
- 5/5
Staff was amazing and super helpful.
- 3/5
Everything very clean and staff all lovely but a bit disappointed with the room…bathroom mirror weirdly low..literally stomach height. Quite sparse, no kettle or fridge in the room. Only one hook for towels etc. wee chair or something in the room would be nice. Breakfast menu not great and very expensive.
- 5/5
Clean!! Perfect size
- 1/5
We stayed at CODA three nights for a wedding in Brooklyn. At check-in we asked if our room (Superior Room, 1 King Bed, Balcony) was quiet. The check-in person assured us that the room was very quiet. I enquired if there were other options and he said again that the room was very quiet. The first night was super loud with music from the roof top bar, dumpsters being emptied at 3 am below our balcony, and general loud cars honking on the street below all night long. The second night was much the same, but the dumpster noise was replaced by a rude couple in the next room smoking weed and cigarettes and talking loud on their balcony interspersed with multiple episodes of screaming sex until 3 am, great! The third night only had street noise. I don’t need to pay this much for crappy sleep. Also, all day long there was cheering and yelling from the park across the street so any attempt for a recovery nap was thwarted. The only upside was a good bed and a nice lobby. Noisy, noisy noisy! Certainly not worth the price, and recommend you look elsewhere.
- 3/5
Rooms were ok
- 5/5
My fiancé and I were in NY for a quick weekend trip. This was our first time staying in Williamsburg. We loved the CODA! The hotel was clean and spacious. FYI. There is a security deposit of $150 per night. The staff was kind and courteous. Parking was easy to find al well. We will definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Clean room. Great location convenient to the subway.
- 5/5
Always a comfortable spot
- 4/5
It was nice
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful .
- 5/5
Beautiful!!
- 4/5
Clean, basic-modern
- 3/5
The room was spacious (we were in the Penthouse) but the counters and surfaces weren’t clean, could see all the stains from previous stays. The views from the balcony are gorgeous. Amenities definitely lacked and some things were just strange - the phone in the room wouldn’t connect to the front desk, the spare blankets are atrocious, there’s a kitchen in the penthouse but there’s no paper towels for basic clean up… location is great, front desk staff were nice but overall an okay experience
- 4/5
The rooms are very well appointed. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Very nice and clean hotel with excellent facilities. We will return soon.
- 5/5
Great location!
- 1/5
Added “resort fees” despite booking including ALL fees.
- 5/5
No comment
- 5/5
Close to subway and amazing dining
- 5/5
Very clean property. Did not have my room available but overall great property and experience
- 5/5
Thank you, CODA , for making my stay so relaxing and unforgettable. I cannot wait to book again!
- 4/5
Was a great stay, nice and easy!
- 3/5
Staff was helpful. But the room was small and to minimalistic.
- 4/5
the pool needed reservations because they allow outside guests to come in and it was fully booked. this was NOT illustrated anywhere before arrival or even at check in. then today the pool was closed because the pool was too dirty from all the people they let in. i paid $600 a night because of the pool compared to other hotels without pools at $400 a night.
- 3/5
This is not a 4 star hotel. The $50/day resort fee is excessive considering the pool is seasonal and all you get per day is 4 hours in a chair, but unlimited access to the actual pool. If you want a chair for longer you have to pay and you also have to make a reservation, so they may not even have a chair for you. Outside of the pool area, the hotel is not very nice. Our room had furniture that was very worn with stains on it, the walls and doors had very clearly been painted over a million times. I know NYC hotel rooms are tiny, but usually there is well thought out usage of space, not this hotel. Its just a bunch of old furniture thrown into a room and you attempt to walk by it. I was very disappointed in what we got for the price. There is a bathhouse nearby which charges $35/day passes, go there and its cheaper than the resort fee and stay somewhere else.
- 3/5
This hotel is rated 4 stars but felt like a 3 star hotel. The room does not have functional conveniences.
- 5/5
Stay there was great. The staff and pool was amazing
- 3/5
Good hotel, but unfortunately let down by very high daily facilities fee and the swimming pool is only open to kids for the first hour of the day (10-11am). I appreciate that it's more of an adults vibe with the bar, but they could extend it to 12 or 1pm without really having any impact. On the positive side, the rooms are nice and location is great.
- 5/5
It was great
- 3/5
The rooms A/C did not work very well which was unfortunate as was a hot and muggy day. Also, the pool needs better security as there was a big fist fight that led to the lobby and to the street (non guests). At that point we left. Maybe only have pool for paying hotel guests.... If that didn't happen, overall would have been a nice experience.
- 1/5
Booked this in morning showed up late and they gave my room away and were over booked smh
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
Loved almost everything. Loved the vibe, location, loved how quiet it was, pretty bathroom yet very small with tiny sink area, loved the lobby and pool area and the people were very nice and welcoming. Out only complaint was the super lowwww bed. It’s so low it’s almost like being on an air mattress. We are not young so maybe it wouldn’t bother young people . Overall would stay again but hoping they change the bed height!
- 4/5
This was my third stay at CODA Williamsburg. The rooms are not large but they are clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was always polite and friendly - even the maintenance crew. My only complaint is about coffee - a life giving ingredient in my opinion. ;-) There is no coffee maker in the room; they have coffee available in the lobby starting at 6:00am but the only creamer they have is vanilla cream. (why???)
- 4/5
Hotel was located near everything we need to see in Williamsburg. Restaurant tasty and pool and added bonus!
- 4/5
First time visiting Brooklyn for a family members wedding. Staying at the Coda was very convenient. The rooms were quiet and clean, walk in shower and the view from the room was nice. Would have liked to have a mini fridge in our room for keeping drinks cold. All in all a good stay.
- 3/5
Spectacular location, perfect area of Williamsburg. Nice lobby, decent furnishings! Comfy beds! Rough around the edges when you look closer in the room though. Feels a bit like a fast home flip… paint not quite hitting the edge or going over the edge, sloppy grouting, cracks at the baseboards etc.
- 4/5
Could not sleep for 3 nights due to wedding party in the penthouse. Loud and people talking loud and screaming in the hallways
- 5/5
Nice room. Nice location. Many restaurants close by. Feels safe, even at night.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean, the staff cleaning our hotel room was excellent, the front staff was so kind, cordial and helpful
- 5/5
Great location, super nice staff
- 1/5
The room we had originally booked was not ready. I had asked for an early check-in to get ready for a wedding. However, the room was even ready for the original check-in time of 4pm. We had to switch to another room so that we could get dressed.
- 5/5
Tiny bathrooms. Linen is in room closet. Not ideal after a shower
- 4/5
The actual condition of the hotel was quite run down. It was clean but fixtures were loose, and the furniture scuffed. It was fine and the shower was really nice, but it could do with a bit of work up keeping the furniture.
- 3/5
Minimalist decor made it difficult to find a place for my stuff: no shelf or cabinet in bathroom. One uncomfortable chair and no luggage rack for suitcase- had my suitcase on the floor. Got a luggage rack upon request. No dresser or chest , 2 small drawers in small closet. Plastic cups in bathroom like you’d find in budget motel but paying luxury prices. On par for NYC but wouldn’t
- 4/5
Had to manually flush the toilet from the tank every time
- 5/5
Restaurant Room with a balcony
- 5/5
The room was spacious and it was nice having daily waters/coffee
- 5/5
Great, convenient location. It was just me and my son, meeting some friends in town just before the holidays. Stay was perfect. Would recommend.
- 5/5
Stayed the weekend here and would definitely recommend. Located in the perfect area to walk to restaurants bars and shops. Parking garage right next door makes parking seamless, and the rates were on the lower end which is always nice when in BK. Staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. I called a few days before our arrival, as it was my husbands birthday, to see if there’s anything special they could do for him. After we arrived, room service showed up with a bottle of wine and glasses. It was a nice touch and definitely made us feel taken care of. We stayed in the king balcony- was cute and clean and the bed was comfortable. Room size on the smaller side but was perfect for us. Would love to see what the suites look like!
- 5/5
Cool Vibes.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Super friendly staff, lovely bright clean room. Location is great - loads of bars and restaurants and about a 10 min walk to the subway. We loved it.
- 5/5
Staff is awesome. Great hotel.
- 3/5
A decent hotel in a good location, but they have a $45.90 facility fee added to the bill. This is because they have a one-room gym in the basement. WHAT A RIP-OFF!!
- 5/5
Near my daughter’s apartment & safe for me to walk back & forth
- 2/5
Website menu was incorrect and in room dining not offered for breakfast. Rooms were not superior or deluxe. Very small and cramped. Bathrooms as well. Rooms needed to have blackout curtains. Free breakfast consisted of stale muffins and croissants. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel in the center of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean.
- 5/5
It is my favorite hotel to come stay at when I’m visiting nyc. Clean, friendly and convenient!
- 5/5
General lobby area
- 4/5
Super comfortable bed and pillows. Not enough towels in the room. Website advertised restaurant with breakfast and room service but it didn’t even open yet. Location is great thought, plenty of restaurants and things to do in the area. Overall a great stay
- 5/5
Great place for a quick get-away! Clean and well appointed, great vibe. Very easy to get to many dining/shopping options.
- 5/5
Clean & comfy
- 5/5
I didn't know if I had the right room when I arrived due to no mini fridge was found. I asked the front desk and Sam informed me to request extra if needed to keep the room spacious. The fridge was handy for keeping my leftover meals because you will pay in New York lol!
- 2/5
Please please when you book with this hotel, understand that they will charge an additional unpublished $90 per day for cleaning directly to your card on file. Even when we didn’t request cleaning. I guess we needed to keep the “do not disturb” sign on the door. Nobody identified this at the time we booked through Expedia.
- 5/5
Fabulous hotel in a great location with friendly staff! Only thing to be aware of is that the beds sit about 6" off the ground :)
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
We stayed two nights visiting kids. First time in Brooklyn. Loved the convenience of the hotel to all our activities.
- 5/5
Staff were awesome?
- 2/5
Plenty of food and shopping within walking as well. Arrived at 4:15, checkin according to their website is at 4:00. Was told the room wasn't ready yet, one gentleman said it would be about 5 minutes and the other said "so 30 minutes?" Not sure what the latter was trying to accomplish as I heard both of them but the room was ready in 5 minutes. The room was cold. Heat was set to 80 and never got above 74 because there is a significant draft from the balcony door. No smoking is allowed on the balconies either, which makes the view of the blacktops across the street less enjoyable. They advertise the rainfall showerhead in the shower, but fail to mention there is no door on the shower and the drain is raised enough to cause the shower area to flood the bathroom. If you are looking for a slightly larger room, with a balcony, for the same price go to the Gotham in Manhattan.
- 2/5
We are disappointed that we were charged for the room given that I called early that day to say we would not be coming.
- 1/5
The front desk was gracious enough to give me coffee and WiFi to find another booking. The rate that I had was non refundable and the cancellation notification was ambiguous about if I had cancelled or if the hotel had. Once asked, the front desk guy sent an email explaining it was the hotel at fault so that I could use it if there were any problems getting a refund.
- 5/5
Front desk was awesome
- 2/5
The shower drains into the bathroom because floor isn’t pitched towards drain. I slipped twice exiting the shower. The bathroom also had no exhaust fan. The room was 82 degrees when we checked in and when I reset the thermostat it wouldn't adjust. We tried to call the front desk and the phone didn't work. The free breakfast a nutragrain bar and apple. There is a 50 dollar a day service fee whether you use anything or not. No fridge in rooms or ice machine, but there is a one water a day ration. The lobby also smells heavily of gardenia and overwhelms you. Truly a miserable experience.
- 5/5
Would definitely return on a future visit to the city. All employees including Room Cleaning Crew are super friendly and forthcoming. And no matter how fancy a place, it's those humans that make your stay extra special. Thank you
- 5/5
Gran atención, fácil acceso a la habitación. Muy limpio.
- 5/5
Great hotel, plenty of street parking. Nice staff
- 5/5
Come to Brooklyn often as I live in CT and im glad I stumbled upon this hotel..loved the vibe...service..room and everything in between. Literally stayed another night on a very impulsive move and dont regret it at all...definitely will be back!!!
- 1/5
Within 20 minutes of checking in, our neighbor started smoking. The staff were slow to respond, offering us a fan. They were kind but limited. My young son started coughing in his sleep and my asthmatic partner couldn't breathe so we had to leave at 11pm at night and change hotels. The non smoking policy seems loosely enforced. Additionally the rooms are sparse and poorly furnished: everything seems worn despite being new.
- 4/5
Perhaps have a table of amenities for patrons to pick up as needed (toothbrushes, razors, shower caps, face masks, q-tips, lotions?)
- 4/5
safe
- 5/5
The desk staff was very helpful.
- 1/5
My room had BED BUGS!!!!
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful, but unfortunately, there were several things about the hotel that made our stay unpleasant. First off, we were meeting our cousins there and the day of the reservation, they called her and said she had 45 min. to verify her reservation. Unfortunately, she was flying and couldn't answer the call so they gave away her rooms. Totally weird to ask someone to call you within 45 min. otherwise you will give away their rooms. So she had to find another hotel with 5 rooms at the last minute and ended up staying several miles away. Really ruined our family get-together vacation. When I went to check in, they couldn't find my mother's reservation. I showed them the confirmation number and after about 20 min, they found it (thank God!). Over the next few days, saw this happen to several people so not sure what is wrong with their reservation system. My room had a bed that was about 6" above the floor. Very hard to get out of bed each day. The bathrooms had no counter space, no places to hang towels, washclothes, etc. Overall, room was not practical but again, staff was always very pleasant. We would not stay here again.
- 3/5
Lots of little annoying Things about the room. Toilet leaked. Outlets were in inconvenient places, air conditioning vent hard to adjust. No comfortable chair. No counter space in the bathroom, and more. Bed was comfortable though
- 2/5
Small hotel with tiny room and dirty common areas. No breakfast or restaurant facilities. Expensive.
- 5/5
Construction ongoing, but impact didn’t detract from the positives.
- 5/5
We loved this hotel and can't wait to go back!
- 3/5
Front desk staff were very good. Roof top bar staff were mediocre at best. The construction going on was annoying, and we wouldn’t have stayed there had we known about it. The door to our room had to be slammed to get it to close.
- 5/5
Nice hotel, great price
- 1/5
I can’t begin to tell you how many things were wrong with my room. It smelled and the front door got stuck, toilet ran constantly ect. I usually do not leave reviews but this place was not good, especially for price. Its a 2.5 star hotel. Place under construction, pool closed too.
- 4/5
Lovely boutique.
- 3/5
Not worth the price per night. It’s just ok, nothing special at all
- 5/5
Loved our stay! Hope to go back someday to enjoy the pool again. Staff was great!
- 4/5
Breakfast was awesome… staff very friendly… The negative was the room floor which was filthy dirty. Looks like the cleaning crew never wet mops the floors.
- 5/5
Love the location. Clean & such a nice hotel
- 4/5
Room - Super comfy beds. Good AC. Soft towels. Heated bathroom floor.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and staff! We enjoyed our stay
- 1/5
There were protestors right outside the property upon our arrival. The staff tried to do their best to keep them out, but they were clearly understaffed and didn’t have proper security. Right away didn’t feel safe to stay there. We tried to give them another chance but then our room wasn’t available. We reserved a bigger room with a balcony and they gave it away to a wedding party. Then the room they gave us was on the 2nd level right above the front door where all the protestors were blasting music, no balcony. I also have a very limited diet so I asked for a microwave in the room or somewhere within the hotel and they told me they didn’t have a microwave in the property and couldn’t accommodate for that. Definitely not what we expected.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
This hotel was nice. Only thing the entrance had a smell but I think it was from the rain.
- 5/5
My stay was so RELAXING and EXCELLENT! I had an exhausting 8hr flight a 4.5 hour drive, I arrived a bit before the check in time, but there was a room ready and the front desk staff got me right in. Ibwas able to shower, relax, visit the pool, eat, watch the Olympics and relax some more. AMAZING STAY... GREAT SHOWER... COMFY BED! 👌👌👌👌💜
- 4/5
CONS: There’s no hooks or drawers for storage. The food is WAY overpriced and not good. The staff was inconsistent—some were great. Others were really poor. Like the guy who checked us in looked like he was coming down from an all nighter.
- 3/5
The staff did not listen at the beach club and the chairs are expensive even with a reservation. This room was also expensive, , a complete rip off. do not stay here.
- 5/5
Beautifully designed and close to everything.

I love the vibe. The rooms are small, and there is no mini fridge in the room.

Great stay with the kids. They very much enjoyed the pool. Pool time for kids should be from 10 am to 12pm.

Overall good I did see a couple small roaches in the room it was my first time in New York so not sure if it’s coming for a 4 star hotel. Overall good location plenty of food options easy access to the subway. The pool was great

The property was nice. We had a problem with the air conditioning in our room it would not blow cold air. At the time NYC was going through a hot spell. With the heat and humidity the room was miserable. They could not get it working after several attempts. After some negotiations they cut our room rate down by half. I think they did a good job trying to accommodate us but it was still a miserable stay

Be aware: WiFi is not good and we had to use a personal hot spot to stay online most days. We received mixed messaging on the pool area and lounges - we were told we needed to reserve ahead and pay $70 for the lounges (hotel guests are given access to the literal pool and some couches along the backside of the pool area). Though on slower days (Monday and Tuesday), we were able to snag lounge chairs on the pools edge for free. Some friendly staff members but some seemed inexperienced or not well trained (did not know policies or how to manage requests). Overall a nice experience but lacking in a few key areas.

Front desk staff were wonderful. The area around the hotel was great, nice parks and great restaurants. Room was cute although not completely clean, no garbage can. Parking garage was full next door which made things a bit complicated. Unfortunately the pool area and restaurant were not open during our stay.

Had to wait for the room to be clean and there was no bathrobe as it states and the bed was small my feet were hanging of the bed i was very unsatisfied

All of this would've been reasonable had the price been in line with the details. Looking around at other hotels in the area that are much nicer, and actually cheaper, blew my mind. There is no reason this hotel should be priced at $500+ a night. Additionally, our King room wasn't ready when we checked in so they offered a Queen room that was only $10 cheaper. Overall, would not stay here again and was very disappointed how much money I spent for what I received.

Wardrobe had 4 coat hangers for 2 people staying 3 nights so lived out of suitcases as nothing apart from coats hung up. Worst thing was bathroom ... sink was cracked and there was no where to put anything not even tooth paste. The shower flowed over the ridge onto the main floor so we rolled up the bath mat and used it as a barrier. When i got out the bathroom and walked to the bed my feet were covered in fluff and dirt so back I went to rewash them. The pool advertised did not open till the 16th May and neither did the rooftop bar area so clised during our stay. I did inform the reception about the issues and she said I wont charge resort fees .. which on checking is still pending on the card. Having stayed in New York many times (our son lives here) I have stsyed in cheaper hotels with a better outcome. The cost, facilites and rating of this hotel is overestimated and I would not recommend stsying here as you will be, as I was, dissatisfied. Have tried to add photos but wont accept them.
