Artezen Hotel

Our room was clean and comfortable, well designed, and quiet. Air conditioning works great, and having a mini fridge really helps in the summertime. Staff were helpful in 2) holding our bags prior to check in, and b) booking us a car to the airport. Located within a short walk to multiple must-sees like the freedom tower, Oculus shopping center, Brooklyn Bridge, South Street Seaport, and Pier 11 where you can take a scenice ferry ride to Dumbo, Brooklyn for the absolute best views of the city!

The hotel, staff and rooftop bar were great. They provided extra towels and a sewing kit upon request.

The staff are welcoming and super friendly from the moment you walk in. They made recommendations for local restaurants and we dined at the best Italian place. The rooms are well laid out with nice amenities. Can’t wait to visit again!

Perfect location, transport to anywhere in the city within 5 minutes. Rooms large, perfectly clean and great amenities. Staff were friendly and efficient and gave recommendations for restaurants close by. Hide Rooftop bar was a bonus for food and drink after a long day. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we came back to New York

The Artezen Hotel is amazing....

Location, location, location!! Situated in Financial District, just minutes away from Wall Street, 9/11, subway, restaurants and cafes. Nice stuff, they gave us a room on the upper level when asked, kept our luggage for a few hours after check out with no extra charges, provided us with water bottles when we arrived, even though there were 2 other bottles in the room…very friendly and welcoming! The room was a bit small, but fortunately we only had 2 carry ons and it didn’t bother us much. With two bigger ones would have been a bit crowded…but I guess it is a normal size room for downtown Manhattan.

Close to wall Street, ferries to statue of liberty and Fulton Subway 2min walk was super helpful. We are 2 adults and 2 kids aged 10 and 12. 2 queen beds were well sized and one of reasons we chose the hotel and bed size trumps 2 doubles in a better location for us. Irish pub right across the road - We had a good meal in there and watched sports. Gym isn't great but OK No breakfast included which isn't an issue as pret-a-manger 3min walk - on Broadway.

Loved this hotel and the location. Walking distance to every thing and a train station was just there. Hotel was clean. Loved the bathroom and the bed was so comfortable. The staff was also nice especially the door men.

The location is new york is all about what you need to do. This location is very close to the subway which is great. For a New York hotel it was great, we had the room with the balcony which was an added bonus, albeit we did not spend a huge amount of time out there it was a nice option to have and very unusual in New York. All three mornings we woke up to a neighbouring room playing very loud music and the base thumping above our room. This was notified to staff but it did continue and was very unpleasant as it started at 6 in the morning. The fridge in the room did not really work. The bed was very soft.

The neighborhood is great as you are just across the street from subway hub Fulton Center. And there are plenty of eateries in the area. Easy walk to the 911 memorial too. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to NYC. Thanks to the staff for a lovely stay. 🙏😍

Excellent location, comfortable room, appreciated the snacks and water. The lack of a service elevator meant that the cleaning and maintenance staff were on the same elevators as guests, which meant that during the day, the elevators tended to stop at a lot of floors as service people got on and off. It’s not a big deal, but it did mean it too quite a bit longer to get in and out during the day.

I was really impressed by the cleanliness throughout the Artezen Hotel. The in-room bathrooms were spotless, and the bathrooms near the gym were equally well-maintained. The gym itself was tidy and very clean, and the yoga room was perfectly neat. It’s clear the staff takes great pride in keeping the facilities in top condition — a detail that truly enhances the guest experience. I loved everything!

I am still dreaming about that bed!! It was a king and sooo comfortable and wonderful to sleep in. I didnt get to use the espresso machine but it looked like the real deal. Staff were friendly and helpful from the bellhops to front desk. We would have liked to stay longer but it was a very short trip for us. Thank you!

The Roof Bar is great with great service, my room was very comfortable and the Hotel is in the perfect location for exploring New York.

Clean and spacious room. No microwave, the refrigerator wasn’t cooling well despite checking plug, and the chrome cast wasn’t properly plugged into tv. Besides that everything was great and the staff were very helpful

Clean room, staff very friendly, room kept very cool during a hot weather stay, and many amenities. Only downsides were noise level from street traffic and construction noise at 3am. We were on the 6th floor which I am told is the highest floor with 2queen beds. The view was poor and cost was very expensive for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights stay. Lobby very small.

The Artezan is in a great location for manhattan. The rooms are comfortable and a decent size for New York.

The staff was amazing with the politeness and helping Us held down taxes and stuff like that What I didn’t like was I wasn’t able to cancel without being charged? I had people back out on me after I reserved the room less than 24 hours. I asked to cancel the room. Had to buy two rooms because I thought we were gonna have a bunch of people I was not allowed to cancel even one room and the rooms were supposed to be connected. I reserved the room in January. Because of this I didn’t have as much money for my trip and that was disappointing. I would like to stay longer, but I couldn’t because of not being able to cancel the rooms and go down to one room. I was very disappointed with that part of the hotel also and would’ve been nice if there was a continental breakfast or breakfast items and also wish there would’ve been a pool

The location was fantastic, right in the midst of the hip Financial District of NYC, just steps away from the World Trade Centre and 9/11 Memorial and conveniently close to the subway. The gym could have been more taken care of - some of the equipment was not functioning.

The location was convenient. It was nice inside. The room was as advertised in photos, nice and it was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The water pressure for the shower and temperature control would deter me from booking there again. I read about that in reviews and hoped it was a fluke or had been remedied. The water temperature had to be very hot in order to get better water pressure. The front desk was responsive and someone up but they went to the wrong room. When we called back to follow up the front desk admitted the mistake and someone was up shortly but it was 11pm by then and we had early morning plans which was a bit annoying. The water pressure/temp wasn’t fixed so we just dealt with it so we could get to sleep and only had one more night stay.

the location is perfect - close to almost all subway lines, TriBeca, Bkln Bridge, and Wall Street. the staff are reserved / chill - but very accomdating. no-one is shouting hello at you when you enter the space. it's more chill than that. the rooms are immaculate. very pleased with the hotel overall. the lobby layout is strange - perhaps it´s on purpose - but the design does not feel welcoming at all. the rooms are tiny, but this is typical for NYC. small building means the elevators take a bit longer - need to leave a bit of time if you are coming / going.

Fantastic boutique hotel in the heart of the financial district. Easy access to subway and local points of interest. Hotel bar very good and friendly for a happy-hour cocktail. Staff at the door and front desk always welcoming - really lovely touch. Made you feel at home. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to New York.

Super friendly staff, great location, and nicely sized rooms with super comfy linens all around. I really enjoyed this hotel. It’s all in the little things; for example, they provided water every day after room cleaning, Nespresso pods in the room, and umbrellas if it was supposed to rain that day. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

Everything was perfect. I loved my room, the room was well-stocked with everything. The concierge and front desk staff greeted you every time you walked through the lobby on your way out and on your way in. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating and the property is immaculate. I have been traveling to nyc once a month for 5 years now for my job and have stayed in plenty of hotels and hands down Artezen has been the best stay in nyc by far.

It was a great deal and overall stay for the area. This is the third place we stayed in that immediate area near the Fulton St. Station in that price range. This was the best.$37 credit being an Expedia VIP member got us two drinks. Upstairs bar very nice. Downside, no breakfst options at all. Need to go out for it. $16 per night for use of Netpresso machine, some okay snacks, and bottled water. Gym was above average. Discounted Parking was $45 a night three blocks away. Good deal for area.

The petite queen was fine for the two of us for three nights. The bed is so comfortable and the shower was great. The whole place is very clean and secure, and the lobby smells wonderful!

Everything from service, to cleanliness of the room and entire hotel was exceptional. I highly recommend to all. Great location and not to mention the price was one of the least expensive options and I felt like I was at the Ritz! Wish I could have had an early check in but that was out of everyone's control.

The only thing that could perhaps be written is the lack of hotel breakfast option, but really that is no downside in a city like New York where the whole point is to dine outside.

What a wonderful surprise to come to Manhattan and get a great location and terrific hotel for such a reasonable price. Far exceeded my expectations. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and hospitality shown by the concierge and the Reception staff.

Small rooms but clean

Reasonably priced ( total rarity) and worth at least 3 stars for that alone. It's what it is in Manhattan. Tiny room but it provides ALL you'll need. Including a couple cold waters and chips and NO ONE does that. Super clean. Close to EVERYTHING. Staff was ok; stayed out of way. And that's very cool. I've stayed in a half dozen or so hotels in Manhattan in the last year or so and This place is the sole hotelier that didn't monkey with the charges trying to gouge me. Sad but true. Props to Artezen

Great location for the tube. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Nice and quiet as well in the rooms. There is a gym with water filter machine. The only let down was for the lack of snack replenishment (you get a couple of biscuits and a pack of crisps but also only one uht milk pot each for the coffee machine with 4 pods…

The room was mostly good. The heat wasn't working but the staff were quick to bring a space heater to help. Unfortunately, the space heater was ; however, the website was misleading regarding the parking situation.

At first, they offered us a room on the 19th floor but said it was “very noisy since it’s under the 20th floor bar” and we could wait for another room. That was a no brainer. Then we tried to check in at 3. An unfriendly front desk agent said “System’s down”… her only two words. We finally tried checking in a third time. We got checked intoa small room. Very tight quarters. Thankfully the amenities are nice. And the rest of the stay was solid.

I highly recommend the Artezen hotel as an option. It is in a great area, 2 min walking distance not only to Fulton subway station (which practically connects you everywhere) but also to great food options! It has great touristic attractions nearby. The staff were always very nice and we were allowed to leave our bags at the hotel until check-in time. The room is small but clean, it is cleaned daily if you choose to and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Artezen. We’ll definitely be back! Two things: we had robes on our first day and after the first cleaning service, they removed them and never provided new or clean robes. Why take it and not leave another one? Also, elevators can take some time to get there. A couple of small details to take into consideration

The location is very convenient and right across from a subway station with every line we needed to get to uptown and across to Brooklyn. The roof top bar has a great view and is upscale and lovely for a predinner drink. The staff were friendly accommodating and able to answer every question and request. There is nothing I didn’t like.

Beautiful boutique hotel and clean rooms

Wifi was terribly slow or nonexistent. There was a constant loud humming coming from the electrical closet that never went away.

This was my 5th time in New York. Having stayed in various areas I'd say this area and hotel overall were my favourite. For such a busy time of year it was lovely to escape midtown and stay in a quieter less touristy area (even though I was the tourist). The hotel was lovely, great style, clean, nice staff and very quiet (rare for New York). We couldn't hear any other guests or noise from the outside (because we were in the quieter area). There are lovely coffee shops in that area which was a big plus with great transport links to across the city. Very close to get to dumbo and Brooklyn heights which was a bonus also. The area is nice and the Wall Street tree was very close by. Very nice tree without the crowds. I'd stay here again especially if visiting in the Christmas period.

I was told this was the third top rated hotel in Manhattan. I completely can see why. The employees are courteous, friendly and made every part of the process absolutely seamless. I've traveled to many hotels across the country and this has been one of the standouts in terms of service. You won't regret your stay.

From staff to the location of the hotel is very convenient to all the stores the you could possibly think off. I love that when I came to the hotel earlier that I was expected for checking they took care for my luggage so I can go explore the city. Clean, friendly, and location was really good. I loved this hotel! I usually would stay in Midtown thinking that’s where everything is but I loved staying in FIDI so much more. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. I stayed in the petite queen and it was small but so cozy, clean, and up to date. This hotel is also incredibly close to viral bagel shops, coffee shops, and the subway

We stayed 1 night at the Artezen Hotel before leaving for a cruise. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and quiet with a coffee shop conveniently located next door. The staff was friendly and accommodating, particularly Christian. The hotel was also a short walk away from the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, which we visited. Many places to eat close by. Lastly, the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal was only about 15 minutes from the hotel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic stay at The Artezen, it was the perfect base for exploring New York with the subway close by, and within walking distance of Brooklyn Bridge and Wall St. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent stay, and were always friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, cosy and quiet.

The hotel is in a very convenient location close to many restaurants and public transportation.

Street noise was ridiculous; desk man checking me in siad "all rooms are sound proof. You'll have no problem." it was completely untrue. We immediately requested a higher floor. The staff could not accommodate until our third night, then only moved us to floor 5. Noise was still terrible.

Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with everything we needed and the location offers great dining choices and the subway is at your doorstep. Room was quiet and size was adequate despite being in Manhattan.

Friendly staff. Nice rooftop bar/restaurant (highly recommend the Hide salad if you're looking for a light bite). Although the rooms are large by NYC standards, the bathroom was VERY small, even by NYC standards. I would rather a larger bathroom for a smaller living space, and in this space, one certainly could have sacrified some space from the large desk area in lieu of a larger bathroom. It was also not up to my (exceptionally high) standards for cleanilness.

Great experience overall. It’s on a busy street but sound proofing it’s excellent so you rarely notice the outside noise. Staff was nice and helpful and the daily water and coffee is great. Room is small but not surprising given the location.

I’ve stayed in much better places. Much friendlier places. Housekeeping cleaned our room and in the same day she came back again. Not sure what she was looking for, but she was extremely surprised that we were in the room. Seems kind of fishy like she was looking for something.

Small but excellent, while it was a small room (typically of a lot of hotels in big popular tourist cities, I really like the room nice shower, bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and my room had a very nice view of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel room was on the small end but fit a king bed and enough space for two people to spread out - view was great on 19 floor too… Comfortable bed, slippers and a robe. Definitely a gem in FiDi if not all of NYC!

Property was in good shape. Small rooms but that is typical for the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful with directions in the city.

The whole hotel feels like a renovated motel to be honest... also in a kind of sketchy street in FiDi. Had I known it was going to be like this, I would have stayed in more convenient areas like the Grand Central, as opposed to all the way out here in FiDi for a renewed motel.

Entire stay was amazing, staff were courteous and greeted us every time we came in and out. Rooms were spacious, beds soft and showers big!! 10/10 would come again!

Supper friendly and helpful staff, small but nice rooms

We loved staying at this hotel, was very nice. A couple of recommendations would be to add hanging hooks for towels closer to the shower. And there is a resort fee that includes Nespresso and snacks, but they didn't get replenished after the first day. Little things that wouldve made the stay even better.

This is my second time staying at the Artezen and it will continue to be my "home away from home" when I visit NYC. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating, the hotel is very clean and comfortable, the bar is fantastic and it's in a fabulous location very close to the subway. Can't wait to come back next year!

Taxi to this hotel if possible. Parking is horrendous; and the parking garage—with whom the hotel offers a discount—fills up. The hotel is in an area that experiences perennial construction; but the hotel itself is so nice!

The rooftop bar was closed which was the reason I chose this hotel. The staff at the front desk were very rude at check in. And the alarm was pre set for 6am when we wanted to sleep in until 10. I’m not able to fall back to sleep. The porters are fantastic and so nice. The room is nice - updated and big (for NYC). The location is ideal.

Overall an okay experience, is how I would describe my stay here. If you are parking a car do not go with the garage the hotel recommends. We planned on this and it did not work out the first day and then were charged extra for being five minutes late to pick our car up. The hotel staff are semi friendly, depending on the staff member.

Such a beautiful hotel. Clean, modern comfortable and everyone was kind and helpful.

Great location & staff. Room was small but clean & well appointed. The only negative is there is insufficient storage space for clothes, etc. This would deter me for a stay longer than a couple days.

The hotel itself was very nice. The restaurant was pricey, but the drinks were good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff was very nice. The biggest issue was being on the 4th floor with the only ice machine for the hotel. I didn't realize how many people needed ice between midnight and 3am.

We've always stayed at the Artezen Hotel throughout our daughter's college experience at Pace University, and it has never disappointed us. From the hotel staff, which is always pleasant and accommodating, to the incredibly luxurious bedding and pillows, which I love and have now purchased for my home, it's a gem, nestled in the Financial District of Manhattan. And it always seems so quiet, despite the noise outside!

Loved the hotel - room small and hallways tight, but that is typical for NYC. The Hide rooftop bar was beautiful and the food fantastic! My only complaint is that it wasn't quiet - you could hear others in the hall and nearby. The shower and products were wonderful. I would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at the Artezen Hotel. Parking was a little tricky but we managed to find street parking nearby. The area is very walkable. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly, we were surprised to find out that they did not offer room service though.

The entry and room are well designed. People are nice.

On the plus side there aren't too many rooms on each floor
