This hotel is centrally located to Times Square and is easy to get to. Its a nice place, and next door to the Museum of Broadway which is a place not to be missed.

The property has potential but you can tell the work was shabbily completed. Where the paint was coming off around the door of the bathroom, the bathroom door was difficult to slide shut. The toilet was broken & they came to fix it only for it to break again. Only one elevator was working so the wait times were long. No I would not stay here again. But it was walking distance for everything we wanted to do.

Perfect location! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The slow elevator is the only issue if I had to mention a downside, otherwise this is a great place to immerse yourself into the heart of New York!

I arrived about an hour early, but the staff at the desk were incredibly helpful and because my room was already prepared, allowed me to check in early at no extra fee. Wonderful experience and I can't wait to come back!

All the staff were kind and supportive! They allowed for luggage storage and early check in which was definitely needed. Would go back!

The walls were damaged and wallpaper was peeling. This hotel needs some renovating. Staff was very helpful and friendly!

Bed was nice and comfortable, room was stuffy, I guess with the price that I paid was worth it. It was very close to most of the attractions so worth staying if you don’t mind adjusting with little things. Good things they do allow you to keep your stuffs even after checking out.

Room is a tiny little box. Staff is what warranted the one star. Room was not available at check in. When we got there my kid asked if he could use a restroom, security said there are none. We asked the front desk and was told it’s right up the stairs.

My son and I stayed here for a quick weekend trip. I honestly wasn’t sure how this place would be but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage early in the morning while exploring things and came back to a quick check-in. Location is perfect, far enough away that it didn’t feel like you were right in Times Square but close enough to everything. The room was definitely cozy and had more of a large bedroom feel than a hotel room. The shower was massive and had great water pressure. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would suggest is not bringing a large suitcase, depending on the room you book. It worked for the two of us, but I could see having large luggage or multiple bags being an issue space wise.

I took my two kids to this hotel and we absolutely loved it. The kids really love the bunkbed and everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly and it was a great location. Would definitely go there again.

The common areas are a bit tired however, the room is beautiful with high-end finishes. The staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. Charles was particularly welcoming and helpful. Benjamin was always there to help with our bags.

One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for awhile. Clean, safe, great location, surprisingly quiet for how good the location is. In Times Square in the middle of unlimited dining options and shopping. Close to public transportation. The staff was very very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend and will stay here again!

The location is also a major plus just steps away from Times Square and close to several subway stations, making it easy to get around the city. Harelene really made us feel at home.

Staff was amazing and so friendly. Our TV was only allowing us to watch baseball, the Cubies at that. Joked with the staff because it wasn’t a huge deal for us, we found it funny. It was fixed in 10 mins and we had donuts the next morning in our room with a sweet note. Really appreciate to small gesture. Will stay here again.

When we first entered the room, we noticed a lot of dust and hair on the bed and around the floor area. We immediately called the front desk, and they quickly sent a housekeeper to clean the room. Although she did her best, I still felt uncomfortable staying in that room, so we requested to switch and were moved to Room 701. Room 701 was better, but still not perfect. The biggest issue was the bathroom—it didn’t have a shower curtain or a door, so every time we took a shower, water spilled all over the floor. It made it very risky to walk in the bathroom afterward, and I was genuinely afraid of slipping and falling. On the second day, I called the front desk again to request towels and asked if the housekeeper could help clean up the water in the bathroom. While she brought the towels, she said she would return in five minutes to clean—but unfortunately, she never came back. The housekeeping service was disappointing overall. Also, the room didn’t look exactly like the photos online, which added to our dissatisfaction. While we appreciated the front desk team and their effort, the housekeeping standards and room setup need serious improvement.

This hotel is awesome! The location is perfect and the staff was over the top kind and friendly. The room was so comfortable and the bathroom was roomy and clean. They even had live music in the lobby.

Not used to staying downtown, didn't know what to expect. Room is small but functional, well appointed. No services in the hotel. But convenient to the Time Square and broadway attractions.

Property is well kept and managed. Right in the center of Times Square and clean!

Staff were very nice and everything was clean, but the condition of the hotel, especially my room, was not great. Decor was clashing and very dated, carpet was stained, tiny light in the shower. Also I was on a lower level floor and could hear traffic and street noise all night long.

The location of this property was great! There wasn’t any amenities, but the location made up for. The staff was great and left me a surprise for my Birthday which was very special.

The front desk people were so kind and welcoming, but the rooms were so gross. There was so much wear and tear on the room -- dents, holes in furniture, scuffs all over the walls. Additionally, the wallpaper was stained all over with gross brown stains and there was a large red stain on the carpet that I'm really hoping wasn't blood. I felt like I couldn't relax in the room because of how dirty it was, which was very disappointing.

Everything was close and neighborhood is safe.

It was perfect for a first time New York trip; and very accessible to all of the site seeing and New York Staples. Being able to walk a few paces to Times Square at any time of day and night was amazing and made the choice all the worthwhile.

Perfect location for visiting New York. The hotel and staff were great. The rooms were very comfy and clean. The location is close to everything and there is a great Irish pub and deli literally next door.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. This is an interesting hotel close to Times Square. The hallway to our room was a bit trippy, I felt like I was walking through an optical illusion. I also could not get the room temperature cooler than 73 degrees, which made sleeping difficult for me. I would recommend because of the staff and the price.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and I absolutely love it. Great service and value. The staff is extraordinary! I highly recommend staying at this boutique hotel in the middle of all of the action in nyc!

The hotel is in great location for going to the theater. The staff was very nice. My room had some issues, but I only stayed 2 nights, so it wasn't a big deal. The room is TINY, noace to put your clothes, so 2 nights is max for me.

My room was good but was too noisy and they didn’t attention to me for change my room so I couldn’t sleep any nights before 3am.just one or two staff member were nice. But location and transportation around were so close and great

Only one elevator was working, the room was extra small, the bed was in some sort of board and you could only get in from one side, the air conditioner was very loud, no door on the bathroom, no light near the shower. The wallpaper made it look very creepy. And the walls were dirty

This was an amazing hotel, it was great for me and my 1 kid. This hotel sits on top of Times Square and prime location. The staff was amazing and recommended some great PIZZA spots for my son, as it was HIS BIRTHDAY. He tunred 8 years and he wanted to spend time in NYC. Also, perk across the street from RISE. Rooms were comfy, small but doable :) and great for pricing

Very small rooms. It was fine for one night. Would not stay here if I were staying longer. Great location.

Wonderful staff and awesome room

As I walked into the room, I thought it was bigger because that’s how it seems on the pictures and videos. The side of the wall near the bed was peeling off. The sink was clogged and we tried to unclog it but it would not unclog. In the future, I wouldn’t be booking with 45 Times Square Hotel. Thank you :)

Size of the room was spacious for hotel room in times square. Location was convenient to many places of attraction. Accessible to many metro station.

Even if something is going on the rooms are extremely quiet and comfortable.

The location is very convenient — it's within walking distance to downtown and major attractions, and has easy access to the subway.

Friendly & welcoming staff, eager to help answer all questions. Quiet from city noise, only footsteps away from all entertainment. Modern room and comfortable bed.

My request for a high floor, made at time of reservation, was ignored - and the noise was awful and prevented me from sleeping

The rooms can be a little oddly furnished e.g. the queen size bed was in a very tight alcove with only entry into the bed from one side. It made it a little difficult to open and close the drapes on the two walls that the bed was up against. There was only one very small round table in the bedroom which made it difficult to put much on it especially in my laptop. I did discuss this with the hotel staff and they said they would have to look into it and thanked me for the suggestion. Overall it's a very nice boutique style hotel right in the middle of all the action of Broadway. I would stay there again.

Nice room felt a little dark with the wall paper being dank and the bathroom being black. I couldnt figure out how to turn off the lights so I had to remove my card for the night. I had a tiny window but it was facing a building behind the location

Hotel cancelled my reservation because i didnt pay ahead but expedia offers pay at property. Thet say they sent an email but i never got anything but got a confirmation of reservation

The staff were friendly and helpful. While I anticipated a small room, I was not prepared for just how minuscule it actually was. If a few feet could have been donated from the extremely long shower stall, it might have felt roomier. The platform around the bed presented a slight challenge. I forewarn anyone with bad knees, chronic pain or, obviously, disabilities from staying in this type of room. The space was predominantly clean, with a few exceptions, such as dirt and stains under the glass on the tabletop. The supposed soundproofing was no match for the pubs next door… or some shouting guests down the hall. But overall, the biggest issue was the lack of decent lighting. I appreciated the reading lights over the bed. Yet the main space was very dim, as well as the shower area. The rest of the bathroom was appropriately lit. I don’t know if wiring presents a problem, but I’d recommend installing more lights wherever possible. This place might be a good bargain for the location, but expect to make sacrifices.

The staff were awesome. The hotel is a little tired, but my biggest complaint is that there was no comfortable chair in the room. My husband can’t comfortably sit in bed.

This hotel is no frills in so far as pool etc but excellent in what matters. Comfy bed, great walkin shower,fluffy towels. Right at Times Square but no hustle bustle. Staff is great. Heartily recommend

The 45 has a friendly staff and the rooms are very clean. The room is small, but we didn’t care. Very comfortable bed and a nice big bathroom with a big shower. We loved it. We’ll definitely stay there again.

It was so dark. Some much was black in our room and the floor.

The staff are absolutely lovely and couldnt be more helpful. Shout out to Kevin who was so chatty and friendly! The room was immaculate, cleaned daily despite me leavinga note to say not to worry! The only noise to be heard was from other residents from time to time but not a peep from outside which is crazy given the location. Yes, the room is compact but planned out perfectly to have space enough for all your things. Only thing to note is the climb onto the bed which may not be feasible for some. Everything is on yout doorstep. Starnucks over the road, Duane Reade pharmacy/shop also there. 25 steps and you're in Times Square with shops and places to eat literally eveywhere. Nearest subway is 42nd st which takes a few minutes to walk to. Theatres are minutes away! If you're looking to be in the centre of the action in a clean and quiet hotel, this is your place! Extra tip: the gyros on the corner of 45th are the best you'll ever have and much needed after a long day of exploring. Thanks 45TS, we'll be back when my legs and bank balance have recovered :)

Staff were very nice

It was both good and bad to be near Times Square. We mostly did it for the convenience of getting around and being central however we failed to realize it would be loud at night. Not the hotels fault at all but it is something to consider. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Very dusty. Not ideal for people with sensitivity to dust. Also incredibly loud area if you get room at front of property, but location is ideal.

The service was absolutely incredible -- so friendly, helpful and treated us like VIPs. The hotel, despite being in an old building and in Times Square, was extremely quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the mattress -- the pillows were great but the mattress needs a memory foam topper- that would make such a difference in comfort-- but would I book there again? Yes I would

Property stated it was sound proof, but guests were extremely loud on top of the noise outside. I had to wait extra hour to check in. There was No microwave to warm my food. My room was completely changed to a different room because they were completely sold out. The rooms were supper tight and without table. No door to the bathroom, therefore there is no privacy while using the bathroom.

The service was extremely friendly! However, there was no bedside table and we were told there would be water and coffee in the room and there was not.
