Great location and cool atmosphere. Beds were comfortable! The rooftop accessible to the public made it feel a lot less safe and private and luxury. The shower pressure was terrible. Street noise was very loud in room.

Great location, great view from the pool area Bedroom was dusty, had to rinse our water cups before using them as they were so full of dust. Our bedroom window would not shut properly so maintenance had to come repair it at 10pm at night while our children were asleep in bed. Not sure it was 100% fixed as we heard lots of outside noise all night long. No apology in the morning. Shower would not run hot, only fairly warm.

Great location. Near our son’s apartment. 2 night stay. We ended up in a handicapped room which was not very clean and had several problems. Two electrical outlets did not work, the night lights did not work the beside table cords were twisted so the controls were on the sides. Someone left an 8 foot clothes rack on wheels in our room when we were out to dinner. Room was dark. Staff worked diligently to fix things. Beds were good. Service was good. Overall needs upgrading especially the carpets. We were paying over $1,000 per night so are standards were high.

Shower door needs a seal at the bottom so water doesn’t flow out in front of sink. Huge puddles flow out.

Fabulous location right next to the ferry to Manhattan for a quick jump over to the Financial District. Nice area to wander around and grab a bite to eat. Views are insane. We went to the rooftop restaurant for the skyline views. Food was decent but atmosphere was the showstopper. Would stay again.

I wasn't impressed with Check In, where I wanted 30mins for them to work out why my room had been marked as checked in (I had just landed from JFK...). As I grew more irritation, the Receptionist pushed the issue back on me - I guess this is the woke way. The Manager also tried to gaslight me, by saying that my concerns about waiting until 9:30pm to check in (having got there at 9:00) and when the restautants stop new seatings at 9:30, were misplaced because the restaurants were "too busy anyway". Rather than the crux of the issue that they in fact were taking far too long messing aroud. When I got to my room 27 minutes after first checking in - The rooftop pool wasn't very exclusive as they have lots of parties there - which you had to walk through to get to the pool. Virtually everything is over-priced and the $75/night 'Amenity Fee' a rip off when spending $700 a night on the property. It's a nice hotel, and work paid.... Would I spend my own money there - probably not.... There's less woke places, with better value.

We love 1Hotel. This was our fourth visit. However, this visit was different. From the loud music playing until two oclock in the morning, to the garbage left behind outside the entrance to the nightclub, the vibe was not at all what we experienced previously during our trips to Brooklyn. We sincerely hope the decision to use the upstairs floor as a nightclub is reconsidered. Being kept awake by loud music is not acceptable. Also, there was a bag of trash sitting on top of the trashcan for two days.Such a shame for this beautiful hotel. Attention to detail is what made this hotel so special.

Stayed at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge for our 5 year wedding anniversary and had an amazing experience. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and super helpful throughout our stay. Loved the relaxed vibe and casual style from the staff because it made the hotel feel comfortable instead of overly formal. The rooftop bar was next level with incredible views of the river and the Brooklyn Bridge. Very happy with our stay overall and would definitely come back.

This location the best, the views are breath taking, rooms are ok, industrial but clean. Staff in harriets is not so friendly, its such a shame with this location it could be a 10 plus!!

The view of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty and the skyline of Manhattan was incredible from a Bridge King room. The lack of privacy in the bathroom, especially the shower not having any partition and a clear glass door.

Don’t ever think you will check in prior to the late 4pm check in. No matter what. Not even 5 minutes.

The roof bar got quite busy around 5p and it took 45 minutes to order a drink, may need more bar staff. Absolutely amazing views from the suite. Especially at night. All in all, good experience - I'll come back.

No "Wow" factor here. Not worth the cost to me. Rooms are very basic , I've been to way better for less, doesn't even have a fridge to store food. I guess you're just paying for the location and the aesthetics of the Brooklyn Bridge. Also on the last day here, of course because I am a 'POC'was subjected to racial profiling and discrimination by the staff while walking on the rooftop. You cannot have activate the elevator without your keycard to your room.So getting to the rooftop would be impossible if you weren't a guest. Yet I was asked if I was a guest there. Hotel was clean though.

Beautiful environment and room accommodations. Loved the filtered water in the room. The robes are amazing! In room lighting could be brighter.Walls too thin..heard upstairs and outside noise each night we stayed. Told front staff but no offers to relocate us were given.

The hotel is well kept and clean. Easy access to the DUMBO neighborhood, but also the rest of the city. Uber and Lyft are readily available. The hotel staff is very courteous and prompt to respond to issues. My wife greatly enjoyed our stay and will be glad to use this when we are in Brooklyn again.

Decent enough ‘trendy’ hotel, pool is dumb (“no swimming”?!), w the entire place seemingly catering to younger people w bad taste. The rooftop is loud and obnoxious, but if that’s your thing, have at it. Location is great, staff just ok on average, style over substance though, ultimately :/

The room 1027 stay far way from this room , had a perfect view, but it was far from clean. There was lot of dust under the sofa, wall etc the coffee maker was dirty and yellow from old marks of water etc , the pillow was awful, and the mattress was terrible. Paying 1,200 was the only worthwhile thing; the view was the only thing. I have been stayed in few hotels at city but this one I will never go back to this place !

I enjoyed everything about my stay. From the aesthetics of the hotel when we first entered, to the staff and just the over vibe was amazing. And the view was beautiful

My room was for light sleepers, I could hear people walking and talking loud. Someone walking with high heels sounded like they were in the same room with me.

Great location, friendly staff Could hear people talking through out the night in the hallway. I could also hear the music from the top floor. For the price of the room I would've thought the rooms would be a bit more sound proof.

Perfect location and nice facilities. Clean and well designed rooms. Unfortunately this hotel organizes electronic music DJ parties every Thursday through Saturday. The club is located on the top floor of the hotel, right above rooms. We were not informed about it in advance. We stayed in room 708, and we heard very, very loud music. We were not able to sleep so was not our 9-month-old baby. I called the front office multiple times, and was told that "they will talk to the DJ". This did not help at all. Music was supposed to stop at 2AM, but it did not, and I had to call again, and finally it stopped around 2.30AM. I don't have anything against parties, but I truly can't understand how one can charge over 1000 per night, and casually withdraw the information that guests will not be able to sleep until the morning. It just goes beyond the comprehension and is very sad.

Ahmet at the reception was excellent. He took care of me. He is one a few who has hospitality skills. And lady who checked me out was great. Can’t say same things regarding check in lady. Check in was horrible. She was on the radio with someone else, and talking to me same time. I get she wants to do double duty but guest is important. Handle the check in and take care of the radio request. No preference asked, no information given, no follow up called made if I like my room or not. Btw I didn’t

We call again and they said 5 mins and a whole hour goes by . They call us non stop in the morning and when we called the front desk no one knew whey they were calling us . Some rang the door bell and even just tried opening the door without waiting to see if they can come in . Someone came at 11:30 to ask about our TV when we checked out at 12. Just an overall unpleasant experience this time , For the price you pay everything had to be working and right

Bill helped with our bags and showed us all the amenities in the room which we would NOT have figured out! He was warm and professional. Shanice in the Barbuto took care of my friend and I at brunch. She gave us the perfect amount of care that we didn’t want for anything. Absolutely will go back.

And it says we can eat breakfast at the rooftop, but in reality it never provide breakfast there and it’s closed. If I knew that, I didn’t book this hotel. I’ll never recommend this hotel at all.

The staff is great! The room was clean. The Manager, Mercedes was accommodating, and professional. Upon arrival both the television and window weren't functioning properly. The TV was lopsided and the window stuck open in cold weather. We had to wait until the next day for them to be fixed. I found out that we were charged!

Overall, we loved everything about 1 hotel Brooklyn Bridge. It was a birthday gift trip for my husband, and he enjoyed every minute of our stay. Thank you and we will be back again! Definitely a 5 star hotel and will recommend to my friends.

The service is a bit unorganized. Delivered food to the wrong room, serve dinner menu at breakfast, bring me a bill without a pen to sign, waited for 20 minutes to check in..... ugh. I paid over $1000 for a night, for that price I expected better.

My husband and I booked a staycation at the hotel (we live in Brooklyn) for our anniversary. We were first given a room facing a wall so we asked for a different room. They gave us one for almost 200 more with a view of the statue of liberty. Went up to room, they didnt change the keys, so they didnt work. Had to go back and get them reactivated. Nice view, room was fine. That said it was SO LOUD. 8th floor under the "club" is a nightmare. The noise/base was going through 3am. I couldnt sleep so we decided to check out the next day and asked for a refund. The restaurant just reopened that night and while the food was good the service was terrible. I had to ask 3 times for a drink. We also got a massage (couples) and it was $900. Was it worth it? Eh...I likely will book a diff hotel next time. If yo udo go make sure you are not on a high floor under the rooftop bar unless you think you want to be up all night.

I had sent two messages to the hotel to check that I had booked the right room type to see the full view ranging from the Brooklyn Bridge, city skyline and all the way to the Statue of Liberty. It is my fault for not following up for a response because I ended up having to choose between the room they gave me (bridge view only) or partial skyline and statue. I chose the statue view but was disappointed as I paid the amount I did expecting the full view. My mistake, not the hotel’s but if you send a message requiring a response, you may not get one. My advise - FOLLOW UP!!! Also, if you have a camera that is anything other than an iPhone, they will not let you use it on the property (from the outside at least). There is mention of this on their website (if it would occur to you to check for such things) but it merely states that no professional photography is permitted without a contract with the property (it does not however state that a camera cannot be used at all) so I was again disappointed to find that this extends to using a hand held fairly basic camera. Most people use their phones I realize, but this is something to be aware of if you plan to use an actual camera or God forbid any type of zoom lense to capture the amazing view. The elevator keys are temperamental and on one occasion I was trapped in the elevator until someone else entered but the staff I encountered were all really friendly and overall it is a really nice hotel in a great location.

Booty shorts, wrinkled clothing... its all a part of the experience and everyone looked like they got up out of bed and came to work. Take pride. Its managements fault ..

I booked at suite at the 1Hotel for my wedding stay and had the worst experience - to the point of crying in the lobby. I had planned to take photos in the suite. The room I had received was NOT the room I booked. The hotel also was not able to accommodate any change and offered to 'downgrade' me. They were also almost an hour LATE in checking me in. The room itself had a fold up bed (the type that folds into the wall) and was a full sized uncomfortable bed. The lighting in the room was dark and the windows looked into other rooms so people could clearly see us sleeping in bed. We found a nail on the floor by the couch. Overall it was a horrible experience and unfortunately for me - it was for my wedding. The hotel does not care. For this price point and for a hotel that claims to be 5 stars, stay somewhere else!!!!

This is our 2nd stay at this location for a quick summer family getaway. We LOVE it! The staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The pool has the best view of the city. The location is perfect for exploring. Tons of food options nearby. Highly recommend!

This is supposed to a 5*hotel and yet…. You can not order food nor drink before 12 pm by pool. You need to be on waiting list to get a sunbed, then limited to 2 hours and then they charge you an additional $45 amenity fee for the pleasure of not having any amenities.

The staff was extremely kind and hospitable. The property was beautiful and well maintained and clean. It was an anniversary celebration for my parents and they truly went above and beyond. Our room had the most beautiful view of the Brooklyn bridge. Can’t wait to stay here again!

the place is newish and has amazing views of Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn bridge. Plus the best part was the level of hospitality. The staff is well trained on dealing with guest - makes you feel special.

Loved the eco friendly sustainable theme and abundance of plants in the foyer. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there - light crowd, quick check, pleasant staff. Room was on a smaller side but that is to be expected I guess given the location. Enjoyed staying in Dumbo with everything being walkable around us. Worth the money and experience. Wish the gym was bigger but we were the only ones that morning so didn’t bother us.

We paid for a room with a view of Brooklyn bridge which we had but ment we had the noise from the elevator all night, the chains need oiling or something. Also check out if you aren’t leaving immediately is a mess. Sent down to change in the public toilets (male and female) that are also shared with the public, as there was a wedding happening they were extremely busy and messy. With a toddler this was hard work. In other hotels of this price point you’re offered a shower in the spa at least and locker to store your change of clothes. The lack of this meant us opening up our suitcases in the middle of busy reception. It’s messy, chaotic and undignified. Not how we wanted to begin our journey back to the UK.

giving low rating because i got overcharged. normally i would always stay in this hotel whenever im in NY. but

The main problem is that we checked out a day early at the front desk. When we were leaving, the guy at the front told us that since it was so early, he was going to send it to the manager so that we were only charged for one night. Of course, they charged the whole stay and now, shockingly, they can't find that we checked out early. There was loud music playing all night and the rooms have absolutely no privacy for a shower/toilet area. Will definitely not be staying here again.

This location and the property was absolutely beautiful. The views to the brooklyn bridge was breathtaking and it felt like we were in a retreat. A perfect escape from the city. It was close enough to amazong shopping and food in DUMBO and only 11 min walk to nearest metro. Can't wait to come back and visit!

Such a wonderful welcome! One of the best check-in experiences - Sarah was so welcoming, gave me wine and had my bags taken up so I could go up to the roof terrace and enjoy the view! Marvelous!

The staff is always there for you in every step you take and of course the unique atmosphere overall because of the beautiful plants! Definitely coming back!

Walls very thin. Partying groups came in late at night fighting. Whatever scents they use in lobby triggered a migraine.

Lovely staff, gorgeous facilities, and a dream location. Very focused on wellness, lots of healthy food options, love the yoga mats and foam rollers in the room. It’s the only hotel in NYC where you can relax and forget you’re in the city for a bit. So calm and serene inside and out. The only slight downside is I think the spa is a bit overpriced for what it is, but that’s a hotel spa for you.

I didn't like that inorder to check in early during a snow storm, i was charged $70 per day of my stay! I understood paying it for the first day, but everyday??? I traveled 300 miles and was not expecting to pay an extra $210.00. How about giving out of towners a break in storm situations? Great staff, great views, etc. I will return, hopefully in better weather.

My wife and I recently stayed at the 1 hotel Brooklyn; we’re fans of the franchise and have previously stayed at this property and the property in Miami. This latest stay disappointed unfortunately. Several of the light switches in our room were non functional as was the Nespresso machine indicating poor upkeep. We dined both at the Osprey and Harriett. While the drinks were decent, the quality of service at the Harriett was sub par for a luxury hotel bar. We were seated and unattended to for a long long period (30 minutes)

The location and staff are amazing. The rooms and poor water pressure leave room for improvement.

We loved our stay at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge. It is not your basic hotel - the location, the design and the views make it a one of a kind experience!

The best thing of all was the friendliness of the Hotel staff. Additionally, the atmosphere is very cozy, lot’s of green all around the place. The convenience of restaurants in the building, as well it’s proximity to a variety of food options in Brooklyn made it exceptional.

Everything is distressed so cleanses is hard to tell. The rug looks like there is mold on it but there isn’t it is just made that way to hide anything. I have no idea if it was clean or not.concrete shower and toilet looks like a prison but I guess that is an in look?
