Motel 6 New Port Richey, FL

Worst ever

This Motel was closed 9 months ago, but they charged me for one day WHat the f.ck

place was either being demolished or under construction and travelocity had it up for rent which wasn't the case.

This place was flooded by the hurricane. Every ground floor room had piles of furniture, toilets, and bathtubs out front. It appeared to be condemned. How do I get my money back?

Through the internet, they took my $ and gave me my room reservation/confirmation the night before —but when I got there after hours of travel, only construction workers from out of town were there. There were no walls, no plumbing… I could see right through the building!!

There is no property. It was abadoned in the hurricane and partly distroyed.

This Motel 6 IS NOT EVEN OPEN!!!! Apparently damaged during the hurricane (a number of other hotels in Tampa also) and arrived to a parking lot full of flood debris and other people with reservations that were as shocked as we were. Not a room to be had in Tampa! Called the reservation line for Motel 6 and even THEY were not aware that this hotel was trashed! Please make note of this situation for your Expedia customers!!!!

We have been here 8 days and just received the fridge. The beds are comfortable but it is the only thing good. The owners are beyond description terrible. They are here for the MONEY only. Carlos is the only one helping the people staying here. I worked in this field many years ago and what is happening here is terrible.

Bug problem the room smelled like dogs and the room had no refrigerator nor microwave as advertised

I really feellike everyone who works at this Motel6 really care about their customers because they take the time to listen when we have a concern. That really matters, especially nowadays when everything is extremely expensive. It means alot when they decide to work with & say ok, check out is at 11am but say, Nina gets her paycheck on Saturday's and I can't pay until 3 or 4pm or later, they decide to work with me and so I like to keep my word & makesure they have their payment when promised. I don't have family and I dont know what I would do if I were to be put out on the street. There is always someone behind the desk to help and they are very courteous and nomatter what it is. I think 🤔 this Motel6 would most definitely benefit from having a ICE MACHINE & ALSO FIXING THE POOL FOR THE KIDS , SO THAT THEY CAN HAVE SOME ENTERTAINMENT...SOME PICNIC TABLES. I try to always refer people here because its hard to find good help and people who genuinely like to help people & dont bring their problems to work & treat people how they would like to be treated. MRS. NICOLE, MR. KUSH, MR.BOBBY, MR. CARLOS...ALL OF THE HOUSEKEEPERS, THE MAINTENANCE MAN WONDERFUL!

Everyone treats you like a member of a family instead of you feeling like you are amongst strangers at a buisness. If you need something theres is always someone sitting at the desk ready to help, day or night. The staff & house keepers always have a amile on their faces and they are always very respectful & courteous. I recommend Motel6 to my family & friends from back home in Brooklyn, N.Y & I feellike the prices are reasonable. If they would fix the pool & have a Ice Machine put in things would be even better & it would really help the buisness.

Too many long term residents and had to shower in cold water the last day i was there.

They put me in a dirty dirty nasty room with ni toqels blankets or sheets for 3 days

Awesome staff

The gentleman at the office went to go check to make sure the room was ready. We had reserved online earlier. He returned with the room key. We walked in and found live and dead bugs. The shower curtain was balled up on the counter, unsavory items still left in the room and the stench was unbearable. We immediately turned around and talked to the man at the office who said we had to handle a refund with Hotels.com. We gave him back the key walked out and went across the street and stayed at another hotel. I spent the next several hours in the middle of the night on the phone and chatting with Hotels.com. They never resolved my issue. I don’t know if they took note of my complaint. They offered me a $50 rebate on my Hotels.com account which did not solve the problem of me having to spend twice as much on a hotel across the street so now I am out three times as much money as I should have been. I did not accept the $50 credit because I am still waiting to resolve this issue fairly. I am pleased to write this review and hope to hear back from Hotels.com.

The property was full of litter. The room was mediocre and there was no microwave or fridge as advertised. There were insects and a horrible chemical odor in the room. We cut our stay short because of this. So very dissatisfied and disappointed.

BEDBUGS! My stay at this hotel was absolutely awful and I wouod never recommend it to anyone. The room we were given was infested with bedbugs. there were exposed wires on the door and overall a very unsafe environment with someone knocking on our door late at night asking about a 'party'. Horrible hotel and horrible experience for my famuky

Terrible hotel! We chose this place because we were driving through and just needed a place to sleep for a few hours. It was cheap and we've stayed in many Motel 6's. This property was disgusting. Tons of cigarette buts and trash everywhere. Bed sheets were stained and room was not very clean. Would never stay here again!

The front desk staff were very nice. That’s the only good thing I can say about this place. It is in horrible condition. It needs knocked down and a new hotel built in its place. They advertise a pool. Well, the gate is chained shut. Staff said, “it is closed for maintenance and will open in 2-3 days.” Five days later still closed and no “maintenance” was observed. No microwave in room. You have to use the one in the front lobby. It looks like a haven for homeless crack heads and pot smokers. They are all wandering around the property acting strange. There is a constant smell of marijuana EVERYWHERE on the property. I had my 12yr old daughter with me. I was fearful for her safety and never let her out of my sight for even 1 second. Unless you are a shady drug addict I would not come here. I will never come here again, that’s for sure. You should run far, far away as fast as you can from this hotel. Hotels.com, please remove this property from your list. It’s disgusting. You give yourself a bad name by associating with them. I will certainly do more research next time I use your booking service. I wish I took photos of this experience to attach to this review.

Needs some major attention. I had to get a refund. I couldn’t even stay there. It was pretty nasty inside and out however, the staff was very sweet.

Lots of damage in two different rooms. Roaches in one and some type of fruit flies in the other. WiFi dosnt work. Tv remote had no batteries

Ceiling in bathroom fell just after I got my shower. Leaks@every room they put us in.

Bedding,towels,linnens were all stained, place was disgustingly filthy!!!! Cockroachs running around the room, had to leave, could not stay there. Microwave was filled with old blown up food all over in it. Fridges were filthy..... absolutely horrible, worse place ive ever come across.

Staff was nice and courteous, I had to switch my room three times till I found one that was clean when I checked in. Otherwise everything was good after I found a clean room. They did a great job accommodating my needs.

Once checked in the room I got (that had microwave and fridge in the description that I chose specifically for those amenities) didn't have the fridge, microwave and the AC didn't work and blew hot air. I told the guy at the desk and moved rooms. the next room also didn't have those amenities that I paid extra for. I'm throughly disgusted by the stay, and don't recommend getting a room here.

The staff is awesome nobody bothers you there only thing is they dont give you towels or leave a roll of tp in your room thats only thing probably because people take off with them but its got restaurants by stores by 24 hr convience store

Hotel is cheep but needs alot of work!

What I liked about the property was the KIND, CARING & PROFESSIONAL STAFF. Starting with MISS NICOLE (manager) she possess strength, grace & professionalism, always smiling. Moving to the staff, her staff is amazing, hard working, yet kind & caring. MISS MARIA, MISS BRUNI, MR.JOSE, MR CARLOS, I've never felt such a warm, welcoming feeling ANYWHERE! I've great respect for them, MADE OUR STAY MORE COMFORTABLE & THE FEELING OF SAFETY, LIKE OUR OWN LITTLE FAMILY! GOD BLESS THE STAFF @ MOTEL 6 IN NEW PORT RICHEY! THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU'VE DONE FOR US!

Only good thing was it was pet friendly. When checking in you had to pay a extra rental room fee that i didnt know about. What i paid for i didnt get. Sheets were gross. Pulled sheet off and used pregnancy test came out with it. No battery in fire detector. Only received 2 towels for 3 people for 2 days. Refused to give me a discount. Was told that they dont always give you what you book. So when you book here good luck cause you dunno what your actually getting...

very attentive to guest needs...Front Desks is out standing!!!

The office was locked when I arrived, but I could see the agent in the next room with her kids and a few others. She made me wait almost 40 minutes to unlock the doors as 'she was on her break.' I totally get her deserving a break, but making me stand in the heat after Ubering there without even letting me inside was not the best experience. Upon getting to the room it was filthy. The shower was covered in mildew and there was nail polish all over the counter and mirror. Several of the outlets didn't work so it was hard to get a lamp working. The room had flying bugs, maybe termites all over it that made it hard to sleep. In addition, there were no towels or a blanket in the room. All attempts to call the office or head down there were unsuccessful so I had to dry off with a dirty shirt. It just was not an acceptable experience.

Worst ever no pool no mini fridge TV didn't work finally got one at 10 night know towels had one set for one person double room. Just sheets on beds no blanket nothing. Waited 45 minutes to check in cause person working desk walked out 😕😡 never again

Wonderfully detailed and informative

Check in was quick and easy. The staff are friendly and quick to help us out if the need arises. Managed by the the best team of experienced staff l. No frills and affordable. I love this place.

The room had no blankets or towels, sheets were dirty. Smelled of mildew and mold, rusty lamps. Spiderwebs all over the place. All the walls and furniture were banged up with holes in them. I left and didn’t come back, stayed at the holiday inn instead. Seems like the kind of place illegal activities take place. Gross!

It was clean, the only issue was a 2 bed room only had 1 towel set.

ation is perfect , plenty to do and plenty of places to eat in walking distance. And as for the Staff , The are wonderful , Housekeepers are outstanding , front desk even better, Carlos , Kush , Nicole , all outstanding. All in all Great place to stay.

We have always had nothing but great customer service everytime we stay at Motel 6. A special thanks to Nicole (the front desk clerk) she makes our stay completely stress free, and has always been great with assisting anything we may have needed.The room that we got was very clean and the housekeeping staff (especially Maria)were quick at helping with anything we may have needed. Thank you guys for everything!!

We stayed 1 week. Suppossed to have microwave, didn't. Manager said would bring, never did. Floor filthy. Mgr said would clean, never did. No towels. Each day I had to ask for clean towels. Mgr acted as if I asked for gold. Lying jerk. Lack of privacy as window half covered by curtain. Gap in entry doorframe let weather, light & bugs in. AVOID!

Floors were very dirty like they hadn't been swept...like ever...

They do not offer any type of house keeping, they will not provide towels or toilet paper, they lightly clean the rooms just to get people in then they lie and keep your deposit, the lady next door overdosed was left in the room for 2 days.

The TV didn't work very well there was no remote and kept saying no signal. And when I went to check in the hostess froze up $--- on my debit card because she put the wrong ZIP code into process my payment.

The desk clerk forced their way into my room at 10:20 am , 40 minutes previously of checkout , I was in the bathroom and after I said I was in bathroom they repeatedly banged on the door and opened it . I would like a full refund !
