Calm location and spacoius well decorated cave rooms. The staff was amazing. Went above and beyond in their hospitality.

The breakfast was outstanding. It all felt home-made, with the fresh yoghurt, the greens, the grilled seedless olives, and the freshly baked cheese pie. The scrambled eggs were in two flavors, with a protein and a vegetable option, and both had local character. The staff gave us excellent guidance on sights to see, and the hotel itself is beautiful, authentic, with great views and a great location, 5 minutes from Uchisar castle. We really liked everything but there were a couple of very minor annoyances. First, there were roadworks just outside the hotel that we didn't know about at the time of booking. They were progressing fast, so maybe they're done when others will book. Second, there were a couple of small disadvantages to our choice to stay in a cave room, but they were minor compared to the experience of complete silence and steady temperature. For context, the hotel has a few cave rooms (I think about 3 out of the 11 total?) and we chose to stay in one of them. Cave rooms can naturally produce dust and small flakes from time to time; none fell on our bed during the two nights we stayed there, but some fell on the unused spare bed. If there was a net above the bed, that would have given us peace of mind. Another side-effect of cave rooms is that you have no mobile service signal, because the thick walls block it. The wi-fi service in the room was excellent and high-speed, however the antenna for the wifi was right next to the bed, within centimeters of our heads; it would have been better if the antenna for the wifi was on the other side of the room, away from our heads.

The host family is extremely friendly and kind. They introduced the whole Capadocia tour to us in detail and welcomed us very warmly. The cave room was just exceptional and unbelievable - a fantastic experience to sleep inside - really like a baby!!!! Feels really comfortable! I definitely recommend everyone visiting Capa to stay here, it’s a much less busy town comapres to Goreme, with excellent restaurants and convenient transportation around, and I definitely recommend to drive around as towns and attractions are really close if you have a car. Once again, We love this place! I have nothing to say in this part. Everything is just perfect!

This was our second stay at the property and it was again delightful. Great breakfast in the morning and love the views from the balcony of the balloons in the morning. The owner and staff were very helpful in getting our rental car flat tire handled and we greatly appreciate that.

The rooms are great and just like troglodyte caves. They are well furnished. The view from our terrace was unique. The main room where breakfast is served is so nice as well, welcoming and well decorated. The breakfast was delicious with a special wow for the rose petals marmalade and the home made orange marmalade. Over the hosts are so kind and welcoming. They make the stay unforgettable. There is a family feel to this place with the quality of a beautiful hotel. Unforgettable stay! N.A

Amazing location with valley views in the heart of Uchisar, 10 mins from Goreme. 5 minutes walk from Uchisar Castle. You can enjoy the Goreme balloons from the terrace depending upon wind direction. Family run business. Very helpful and supportive staff. They let us check in 11 hours in advance at 3 am. without any extra cost. Hotel and rooms are aesthetically decorated. Great breakfast options. Actual hotel is better than what it looks in picture. Highly recommended and would love to stay again There is nothing to complain about. May be 2 flights of stairs for room access for someone with a mobility issue. No lift is available.

We had a wonderful stay at Kistar! We were lucky to be upgraded on arrival to a room with an amazing view, the facilities were perfect and as described! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and cannot fault our stay. Parking was available on the street outside and the property is in walking distance to all other places in Uçhisar. We would highly recommend and would stay again if in the area. Nothing!

Absolutely loved my stay in Kistar Cave Hotel with my family! Stunning views, peaceful atmosphere, and the friendliest staff I’ve encountered. The cave-style rooms were cozy and beautifully designed. Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the location near Uçhisar Castle is ideal for exploring. Truly a gem in Cappadocia!

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff — amazing!

We stayed for a couple of nights for our anniversary with the family. A wonderful hotel - they went out of their way to make our stay special including an anniversary cake and gift. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The view is amazing. The interior of the hotel is so beautifully done. The owners and staff are so friendly. If we come back to cappadoccia we would stay here again!
