HOTEL PAVLOU

It was in a great location! The people were kind and attentive! The beach and views were gorgeous. I would stay here again!

the hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. the easy access to the beach and restaurant attached to the hotel made for a relaxing and enjoyable time. some parts of the shower weren’t properly working which made showering difficult.

The hotel was practically closed down. We were the only persons in the dark and unlocked building. No personnel (a lady came to give us the key for the room)

The location of this adorable little hotel is a quiet bay a short cab ride from Porostown. We enjoyed 3 delicious breakfasts there and chose to revisit other outdoor restaurants a short walk away for other meals. The main complaint was how we were greeted upon checking in for our Superior, twin, sea view balcony room which was booked at least 2 months in advance. The manager looked at his computer screen at the reception desk and tried bait and switch saying we hadn’t paid much so must only be a Mountain View. We emphatically said NO! I have paperwork to prove ocean view balcony! We were handed a key to a room that shouldn’t have been in service with stains on the shower floor, no shower head, about 2 feet of visible mold on the bathroom wall and only 3 wire hangers in the closet. We returned to the first floor common area, disturbing the manager’s backgammon game and said “no way” to that room. He persisted with lies…only room he had…none of the rooms had showerheads etc. I got my computer with a screenshot from their website of what we expected and showed him the mold in the bathroom. He grudgingly gave us another key and forced a couple who arrived after us to take that room. I don’t know what the owner of the hotel wants him to do but if they only have so many rooms blocked to use in shoulder season, then use serviceable rooms and get the disgusting room up to par!

Bed bugs, no staff on site, our hotel room was dirty with used towels and a trash can with someone else’s poop. Only blanket had sticky stains and the mattress was soiled. We paid for a balcony sea view but the construction next door was so bad we couldn’t even be on the balcony. Nobody on site so we left after one night (tried to talk to someone multiple times) and ended up just leaving our key and fleeing. Still waiting for a refund and they won’t respond. Do not book!

Property was clean and very nice, staff amazing. Great beach bar and swimming beach very accommodating in all aspects. view is magical and a must visit on Poros, great food at restaurant to top it all I will be back for sure! I enjoyed everything

They did not provide beach towels. The ventilation in the bathroom was poor. There was little space in the closet and few hooks and shelves in the bathroom.

This hotel is a delightful place to stay. The room is basic, but well appointed with everything you’d need. It’s very clean and the staff make you feel like family. Check in was seamless and they were kind enough to call us taxis whenever we needed them. The property is a bit outside the town center, but walkable if you’d like. The view and location to the beach is unmatched!! The hotel has a sandy beach with lounge chairs directly in front that allows for relaxation. We will stay here anytime we are on Poros!! Nothing. Everything was amazing!! Thank you Hotel Pavlou.

The location was great with beachfront cabanas, chairs, bar, lovely atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. They bent over backwards to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing.

The staff were very kind and helpful. They relocated me to a quieter room as my neighbors were incredibly loud. The walls between the rooms are very thin. It's quite far from town and there are only a few restaurants nearby. The rooms are quite dated. The blanket only covered the bottom half of the bed. I had to turn it sideways to cover my whole length. They use a really strong air freshener in the hallways that is overpowering.

Exceptional

Last minute booking, late season. Staff were excellent. Room was large & comfortable with balcony & superb sea view to mountains...This is a waterfront hotel, a little out of town, on a long beach with it's own restaurant. There are other excellent restaurants nearby. Price excellent.

Location fab opposite beach. View from seaview room gorgeous. Nice large room and comfy bed and pillow.lovely staff , receptionist credit to the hotel. I went off season September so not sure how busy that road is in summer. Little bit out of town, wld walk no prob but roads badly lite at night in greek islands.
