    The location is perfect. I was extremely tired from a long day but I would have loved to venture out to see more of the property. The only complaint was the lack of toiletries. There was soap and a small bottle of lotion. Other amenities were lacking. Given the quality of the room, I'm willing to accept this as a trade off.

    There's always so much to like about any given Westin but the highlights are: - the night time view of the harbor is just stunning - they're added perk packages are good although you'll see below check on the added fees and the times when you can use them - this is any Weston but I love the lavender oil at the bedside and the tranquil designs - Sauciety is also quite good and rather reasonable for a hotel restaurant I liked everything about the location and the hotel. There were a lot of hidden charges that could have been explained up front. It's already expensive to stay in National Harbor so it was surprising to have an extra $25 in fees.

    The hotel location is amazing and incredibly convenient. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout my stay. However, the rooms are in need of updating. The carpet appeared dirty and, in my opinion, should be replaced with flooring throughout the rooms. There was also an unpleasant scent in the room, and I noticed hair on the bathroom shower floor upon arrival that did not belong to me. Overall, the hospitality was appreciated, but improvements to the room condition and cleanliness would greatly enhance the guest experience.

    When you plan a trip, it shouldn’t be a third-party it should be you and a place you’re planning to go to not the third-party. We did the third-party thing somehow another our rooms got mixed up and we wasn’t able to stay in the ocean view room. we were about to leave and go somewhere else and then a partial Ocean view room came open and we were able to get that. and they wasn’t even gonna give us our money back. everything was good except what we went through when we first got there it was horrible, but the young man that helped us was great. He really occurred that we were upset and the young lady that we went to at first she act like she didn’t care and didn’t wanna help at all, but in the end it all worked out.

    The parking fee of $25 per day is excessive, in my opinion, as is the $25 "Destination Fee", plus the tax of $1.50 plus $3 for Destination Occupation Fee PER DAY, so adding it up, if you include parking, you're pay $29.50 extra EVERY DAY. You can recoup $25 by eating or drinking at the hotel. The food wasn't all that good, in my opinion. Some staff didn't seem very knowledgeable.

    You get charge a destination fee of $25 each day you stay with anybody telling you that. The staff in restaurant and bar are so rude and bad service because they already adding at 30%gratuity to each tap not matter what. So staff does not care to a good job because they already charging you the tip on tip of the billed.

    Stay was great. Easy check in. Everything in room functional. Only complaint is some of the surfaces in the room seemed dirty like the dresser in between the bed and the desk and lamp which I tried to remedy with Lysol. One of the sheets on the bed was also stained.

    It was very put together, neat, and clean. It definitely felt luxurious and the beds were very comfortable I spent $254 in total for one night, honestly all the hotel had to offer me for that was a bed and a workout facility there was no complimentary breakfast, no pool, there was a bathtub instead of a walk in shower, the sink was small and outdated. I feel like overall for how much it costs to stay a night it could have provided me with at least a breakfast and had a walk in shower the rooms very outdated If id wanted a stay where the room felt ancient I could’ve stayed at a quality inn for cheaper and they have a free breakfast

    The location is great. My stay was disappointing due to cleanliness and service issues. Upon arrival, the duvet appeared to have dried blood on it and there was hair on a pillow, which was concerning. I disinfected the bed myself and removed the duvet. The next morning, the on-site restaurant was closed without notice, and I was unable to place an order through the hotel website due to repeated availability errors, even for basic items. I spoke with a manager who said the issues would be addressed, including checking the room and providing a missing part for the coffee/tea machine, but neither happened. I was given a $40 breakfast voucher for the following day, but the restaurant remained closed. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations.

    Clean property with the amazing view of the Capital Wheel. Quite a few restaurants, coffee shops, and ice cream parlors at a walking distance. Having no parking in the property is a bummer but none of the hotels have parking in that area. Public parking available across the street with daily rate of $25 (Dec 2025). 6-10 minutes walk from Gaylord. 6-8 minutes drive to MGM. Didn’t try the food this time as we ate out. Overall, pretty good experience.

    Parking & valet both are rip off. Even if you give the car at valet for hour or 2, they will charge nightly rate of $55! The whole area around is bad for parking. If you do not rent a car, it will be more convenient and will also be more economical.

    The room was fine, but could use a better cleaning, the lamps on the night stand was dusty and the silver metal rack that held our towels on it was not cleaned well. The view was good just wish it was on a higher floor. The only discrepancy was that our window outside had a lot of spiders on it making the sight an eye soar. Also, some of the staff was not friendly. I'm to understand that if I book through a 3rd party there's no guarantee of me getting my request or preference met. The surrounding area was lovely.

    We checked in at 6 PM and by 7 PM. We noticed our bedding was dirty and had two stains. We called the front desk talk to them multiple times they offered for housekeeping to come and replace our bedding which we originally said yes to, but it took my husband to go downstairs to confirm that they were going to do that. At some point, they offered free breakfast. We thought that compensation wasn’t enough for us finding our sheets dirty given the fact that we could’ve purchased that same breakfast for $10 on Expedia, which is where we booked the hotel. The manager said that she gave us a call at some point, but while housekeeping was there, they accidentally took the room phone from the room with all the sheets that were dirty. Since the manager was out in the morning and wasn’t going to report to work till about 11 o’clock to 1 PM, I decided to call once I got home. Unfortunately, she said that there wasn’t any other compensation, other than the breakfast and that they couldn’t offer any refund because we decided to stay. The manager wasn’t apologetic for our situation and was condescending. If the situation would’ve been handled in a different way, I could see myself returning, but unfortunately, they lost a customer. I only have the ability for 1500 characters here so I would say more, but Expedia treated us more like a customer than the Westin.

    Right in the middle of everything - wonderful. Staff and housekeeping - wonderful. “The Yard”, 40 feet away - oh boy! Starbucks TWO feet away. Surrounded by practically any eating option you’d ever want. The water view is amazing. The only thing I can think about to improve is a small balcony.

    Well, the room seemed cleaned but the towels where full of animal hair as well as the toilet. I had to request new towels and the comforter was shredded/torn and really should have been replaced. The table was sticky , so I wiped it down with lysol wipes. Overall, I had to reclean the room to my liking.

    We had reserved and prepaid for a room with a king-size bed. However, upon check-in, we were given a room with two smaller beds, which was not what we booked. We returned to the front desk to request the correct room type, and were reassigned, which did have a king bed as requested. Unfortunately, upon settling into this new room, we noticed visible black mold in multiple areas — including above the bathroom door, on the closet, ceiling, and trim near the bed. This was concerning from both a cleanliness and health standpoint, and disappointing given the reputation of the Westin brand. As a result, we had to request yet another room change — making it the second room reassignment in less than an hour of arriving. Needless to say, this was not the start we had hoped for on a weekend getaway I set up for my husband

    Hotel was dirty. Hallways and in the room, the carpet was coming up. Expedia messed up the reservation and booked it for the wrong date. Valet parking was available and I was charged for it but then the valet was not there and I had to get my own car. Fire alarm also went off at 3 AM. Will not stay here again.

    The river view was amazing. The staff was very courteous and professional. The room wss clean but the bed was too soft for me but still comfortable ifnyhay makes sense. The bayhoom was clean and NO leftover hairs anywhere. While taking a shower the flo9r outside thenshower did become wet and the bathoom was drenched. I had an engineer come up to adjust the shower door which did help. I RECOMMEND the riverview room.

    Excellent service from the entire staff (shout out to Super in the lobby bar!). The furniture in the rooms could use an upgrade but that did not negatively impact my stay.     Excellent location and room amenities. I attended the conference at the Gaylord, but chose to stay at Westin because of the view and a more intimate feel. My colleagues were at the other nearby hotel and I saw that my room at Westin was more spacious, more modern, and the bathroom/shower much bigger and stylish. It was only a short 5 min walk to my conference.

    This is a nice property however it is starting to show some wear and tear. Carpet on the 2nd floor needs to be replaced and there was some wear and tear in my room with the furniture. Despite this the staff is top notch, very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There was an incident on my floor with a lady who needed medical attention and honestly before I could dial the front office they already had staff on the floor to deal with it.

    I stayed at the westin over the memorial day weekend.They failed to inform me that they were giving me a room type of accessibility which I did not pay for through expedia .To rectify the situation, I attempted to speak with the manager who happened to not be on duty until 10am and leave at 3pm .This made it extremely difficult for me to speak with them as I was out of the hotel due to a convention.Furthermore, the room provided has cold water and they tried to falsely accuse me of damaging property to which they charged my card for an substantial amount . I would never stay at this property again .

    Hotel is very dated. Carpet very worn and room needed to be refurnished. For a Hotel that was priced in 4 star range felt like it was 2 star

    Only complaint is that the rear door was locked all day for a special occasion on Saturday. Denying access to the water and walkway for guests was unacceptable. Paid too much for this inconvenience.

    It was a pleasant stay on the water. The room was a little musty, and the shower head did not function properly, but it was a nice stay despite that. The restaurant downstairs makes some good burgers too.

    The hotel was in close proximity to my event, which made it an ideal place to stay. The rooms definitely needs to be updated, specially the carpet. Otherwise the rooms were spacious and the view was amazing
