    Everything went well, even with overnight staff and valet! However the second day really surprised me. I was handling a couple things Saturday morning (6/6/26) and the front desk person was very rude. He kept calling me a sir even after showing him my ID, unwilling to acknowledge my late check out request and I believe I have been double charged(he made me swipe my card again for incidentals) after showing him my transactions. After a beautiful but physically draining night, I did not have it in me to keep going back and forth. I just decided to handle it later. I’m still waiting for everything to settle in my account in order for me to see, but he definitely left a nasty taste in my mouth. I also had to pay again for valet, but they told me in the beginning, the charge would come out of my incidentals. The money really isn’t the focus, I’d just preferred if things went a lot smoother and I got the respect that I give out. Still a great stay none the less. Prom went amazing for the kiddos.

    The room was super small and the beds were small more like full size than queen . I paid $100 for early check in and it wasnt available also had e pay $75 for a so cold larger room than traditional and definitely wasnt larger just had a balcony and view of antrium Not Worth It At All

    From the front of the building to the rear, everyone was helpful, polite courteous, professional.And for a while there, we thought we were home. I could have used a microwave in the room to warm up my leftovers. And coffee in the late evenings.

    Checking in was a little rough due to lack of communication. Certain details about the parking were not shared with me properly leaving me unaware with me being a first time visitor.     Large comfy rooms, great locations with local restaurants, bars and shopping nearby. Hotel is very large, a little expensive but you'd expect that in a Marriott run hotel. Nothing really, check-in took a bit of time, but overall very happy with the experience.

    I was impressed with resort, its staff, the valet service and the restaurant food. However, I wasn't impressed with the cost of things and the room location. I paid for a room with a river view but was assigned a room overlooking the steam plant, which led my companion and I to joke all weekend about the how hot and steamy the Potamic looked. The next time I'm in the DC area I'll use some of my million plus IHG reward points and stay in a suite.

    I was told and booked a different room that I was given when I got there they tried to convince me that it was an upgrade because I had a balcony. The room was tiny just ordinary, not worth the money over $800 for two days. it was not great. The food was not great overpriced. We’re not stay again.

    My visit was work related. Excellent location, easy to get to and very well kept. Not enough food options, while I had food for the conference not enough available options for my wofe who travled with me. Also the hot tub was not inside as advertised. Otherwise the stay was great.

    I want to start by recognizing the staff, who were extremely friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. Our room was ready ahead of time, which was a pleasant surprise, and we genuinely felt like valued guests during check-in and interactions with the team. Unfortunately, the room itself did not meet the expectations associated with an upgraded stay. While the view was absolutely beautiful, the overall condition and design of the room were underwhelming. The shower design makes it very difficult to prevent water from getting all over the bathroom floor, which was frustrating. In addition, the ceiling vents appear outdated and there was a large square opening in the ceiling that was quite noticeable and detracted from the overall appearance of the room. Because this stay was meant to celebrate a special occasion, I was disappointed that the room quality did not match the premium experience I expected when paying for an upgrade. The service was excellent, but the room itself could certainly benefit from updates and better design considerations.

    Wonderful hotel near many restaurants and shops, beautifully situated on the Harbor. Great restaurants and staff at the hotel. Our first room had noisy neighbors, but we were quickly accommodated to a quieter and nicer room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    Nice room, mostly clean, well-equipped tv and good internet. Early checkin was reasonable and easy. Staff is fantastic every year. I'm always impressed by their efficiency, kindness, and competence. A little noise traveled from the room we shared a wall with. Parking was a little confusing to price and expensive. I wish the shampoos/etc had been filled up for our stay. Wish the rooftop bar was open but they were in renovations.

    We went for the ice show and it didn’t disappoint. We usually go to Gaylord National in the summer but this year wanted to experience ICE Polar Express. The front desk staff was very accommodating as we initially had a room on the back end of the hotel because Atrium rooms weren’t available at the time of booking. We were able to transfer to an Atrium room on the morning of our second day. The view didn’t disappoint as usual. Next time my husband said we will see if we can book the Presidential Suite. Pricey yes, but well worth it!

    Your parking system SUCKS. The little piece of paper everyone get when entering blows in the wind as I tried to scan it at the 2nd gate. It of course would NOT scan..therefore the next gate will not open. Everyone was having issues with it. The line went almost to the street. Then I needed to park my car in a "NO PARKING" zone in order to check in and get my room key because WITHOUT the room key, I can't get out of the next gate to get to the parking lot to park my car. Luckily I didn't get towed...THEN my room key didn't work to open the gate..which led me to park again in the NO PARKING zone so I could re visit the check in clerk to re activate my key so I could again go thru the gate to access the parking lot to park my car. THEN YOU HAVE THE NERVE to charge me $46 per day after spending $300 a night for your room I would never go back unless you refund me the two day parking fees for the aggravation I went thru.

    The pool area and actually most of the hotel is cold..pool water was warm and cloudy and the Hot tub was 95 degrees so not Hot. The room was fine but the bed was Hard with subpar linens..we had dinner at the very expensive steak house.. Olde Hickory. It was horrible and they even sat us in a dining room with no heat at all and said they were working on it..I sent back my Steak 3 times before losing my appetite..the next day we had the same entrees at a restaurant off the property and it was amazing. So if in the area that restaurant is a short walk and it is called The Walrus. I think if I go back to the area I will try the Westin next time.

    Currently on our second day with NO HOT WATER, which has been extremely difficult especially since we have the kids here for ICE ft Polar Express. The phone only works in speaker mode. There’s is also a loud central air vent right by out bed that must have something in it making it rattle constantly. For what we’ve paid, we at least expected the basics to be in order. Definitely made our holiday vacation memorable but not in ways we expected.

    For $550 dollars a night - they lost my reservation then with confirmation email found it gave me a room that was easily 150 yards from the closest elevator (3 banks but none of them close. There were stains on the sheets and a lot wear on the building. If attending a conference, save your money stay elsewhere and walk 59 yards across the street.

    Valled the desk and was immediately told "it was not the hotels fault, nothing they could do for us, they did not have ki g rooms with a river view". I expressed my displeasure and was told "we can offer you a doue queen with a view of the atrium". Queen beads! Not exactly what i would want for a weekend get away with my wife. The halls to the hotel were not properly cleaned. Trash and wisky glasses i. The hall when we arrived o. Friday night, were still there when we departed Sunday morning.

    When we was checking in the front desk staff was great, very friendly. I did fall for the up sale to a suite from a standard room and I can say I'm happy I did. The suite was awesome, very spacious, two large screen tv's with an extra large balcony overlooking the atrium. There are multiple bars, restaurants and stuff to do within the facility. There are also several restaurants, bars etc.. outside the facility which is in walking distance. If that isn't enough, the MGM Grand and Tanger outlets is only 6 minute drive away.

It offers an amazing view of the area. We also came across a beautiful rolling hill that over looks the water. We enjoyed sat in Adirondacks and ate snacks while watching the sunset. The staff were amazing especially James from the Potomac Dining Cafe and Market.

    Property is lovely. However, having a cashless building, as a Canadian we already paid the exchange rate once and therefore with this policy we are paying 40% more. Twelve dollars is a little much for a water.

    I thought the Gaylord was overpriced for what it offered. Our bathroom tub was not draining properly, and the pull for the shower broke while we were there, they did repair it, but I thought the room was mid-overall. Also, the splash pad near the pool area was not working. That sucked because I had a small kid looking forward to it.

    Our stay was a God send from the week we both had. We actually booked this room so we would have a head start for the following day. We had to decorate the restaurant for an event, National Red Hats' Hoot Day at the Cadillac Ranch. We ate and just chilled out in the many bars eating, bowling, throwing darts and just having fun!

    The room was good until we opened the drawer to put our clothes away. There was a used fleet enema. We immediately requested another room. They moved us promptly however, the room they moved us from had view of the harbor, the new room was a view of the roof and trees. When we checked out and they asked us about our stay, we said it didn’t start off great, we had to move rooms. And the response wasn’t one of concern for the customer it was simply “oh ok”. I felt like this should have been handled differently than just moving us to a room without the view of the first. For a Gaylord property I did expect more.

    I really liked the 'extras' which, I suppose, recover some of the 'resort' fee. The 2 cocktails in the evening with the free cookie. The $25 daily credit for meals. And the ability to access Netflix and Prime on the TV.

    #brunReview, I was bit disappointed because I’m also a Bonvoy member and own Marriott time share. I really didn’t feel the difference of just being a regular Joe that just booked a hotel. I was out in room that was very disappointed because apparently all the rooms were given to others members or not. The room had folks very noisy, the safe was broken so that tells me they don’t check the entire room with a checklist that would have been identified. Around the headboard had a permanent light that we turn off, I tried to contact the front desk the cord to the phone was missing, I assumed it was wireless however it wasn’t. The location is a beautiful property on the exterior but the rooms didn’t reflect the opulence that was conveyed. Overall disappointed should have went to the MGM instead. A bunch of teenagers running acting as if they need been anywhere before not saying they can’t have fun, but it was out hand. I stood in line with my son all I can smell is pot at the front checkin counter. I completely understand it’s legal in Maryland but man can we have a no smoking at the checking counter or no smoking in doors the distinctive smell was very noticeable. Overall I thought I was surprising my wife with a special stay at this hotel, boy was I wrong nothing special with those small rooms. Looks, location, and pictures can be deceiving could have stayed Hampton Inn across the street for less. Overall very overrated. Never again would I stay there. #brunReview
