    This is the 3rd or fourth time we have stayed here great property in a good part of Nashville. I always question the staff though frequently you have to go and look for front desk staff. The pool bar staff upstairs didn’t know what time the pool closed. Just little things. They have great music in the weekends and their patio is great if the weather cooperates. Great property you should stay here rooms at great property is clean and well maintained.

    The hotel pool is a mess. It is very clean, however, not organized at all. They tell you that if there is not a reserved sign on the table or chairs then that area is open for general use, however, we sat down at two different areas that WERE NOT reserved and then told we had to move because they were reserved. The weekends are a hot mess, that is when they have all the reservations and it is hard to get a place to sit. There are drink and food minimums for the reservations. I enjoyed it when it was open during the week, not the weekends.

    Although the rooms are trendy, they lack practicality. Example would be no dresser/drawers to put clothes into if you don't want to live out of your suitcase. In room does not have a coffee maker, just something to heat up water (and a coffee bag similar to a tea bag). Coffee in the lobby is only available for free from 5 am to 7 am. Typical "fancy" city hotel, i.e. bell hop for your suitcases (that you don't want or need and now you have to tip), valet parking only ($55 per day- plus you need to tip the valet), in room small refrigerator (nice, but $12 for a water), etc. Good news is that everything is clean, great maid service, small rooftop pool and bar area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and not disappointed.

    This hotel is centrally, located in Midtown in a very safe, clean upscale area. We love the setup of the rooms. It’s actually one of our favorite rooms we have ever had in a hotel. They really provide everything you need and were super helpful for us for things we forgot. You could walk to Broadway, but it is a little far. In our opinion we took an Uber back-and-forth which ran about seven or eight dollars per trip. We will definitely stay here again.

    A great hotel in a great city. Housekeeping was a bit lacking (late in the day, didn’t always replace cups, etc, nor top up tea and coffee). The Commons Club was good for drink and food. Happy hour should be 5-7 p.m. Monday-Fri (great $1 oysters) but the Friday we were there the happy hour was cancelled with no notice due to an event being held.

    It was a beautiful property in the staff was extremely helpful. The rooms were awesome. There was plenty of room in the amenities were exceptional. I love that entire bathroom set up. It was perfect showers. The dressing area and the makeup area was perfect for any woman or man. The only one recommendation I had for the hotel was they needed to redo the planting upstairs by the pool as it was all winter plants and they needed to be replaced by flowers in my opinion.

    We had a total BLAST at Virgin Hotels Nashville! The rooftop pool parties were amazing! The property was fabulous!!! Ambience was so contemporary and chic! The location was ideal and centrally located to everything, and the fitness center was state of the art! Definitely our go-to lodging for our stays in Nashville this point forward!

    Virgin Hotels Nashville nailed it. We brought our goldendoodle, and unlike most “pet‑friendly” places, they actually mean it — Banks got to go everywhere with us. The room was spotless and comfortable, the staff was genuinely kind, and we enjoyed dinner and drinks without ever having to leave our dog behind. Perfect spot for anyone traveling with pets.

    Lived the red color then throughout the room. Makes for great pictures. The shower room was a really wonderful touch and unexpected. The toilet room is great for privacy. The bed was very comfortable. Pillows were great. I wanted to make coffee or tea to go and there were no disposable cups or lids for that. Also wasn’t sure if was free or an additional charge for coffee and tea. I would return with a larger budget

    Went for two nights of Memorial Day weekend. Room was clean and comfortable. Gym was adequate for weights/yoga/cardio workouts. Pool was busy so we didn’t spend much time up there, but would have if it were less crowded. Had one meal at the bar which was tasty. Coffee shop made good coffee drinks. Staff was really friendly. Would go back!

    The property itself was stunning and our room was very nice. The standout feature of the room was definitely the massive shower. The bench seating made it feel like a private spa experience. We also appreciated the front desk staff, who were consistently friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. However, several issues with the amenities and service dampened the experience for us. We were disappointed to find that the in-room refrigerator was strictly for minibar use, leaving us with no space to store our own items. The pool area, one of the reasons we booked, was unusable during our stay because it was taken over by non-guests attending the rooftop party. To make matters worse, the bar staff were quite inattentive when we tried to get drinks. There was also trash outside of the elevators that was still not cleaned up by the time we left. The property has incredible potential, but the management of the facilities and the bar service definitely need improvement.

    Came to check in at 1130pm. Was in a hurry to go meet friends, I paid ahead of time. Walk in but nobody was at the front desk. There was a line of upset guest that couldn't check in. The phone was ringing off the hook but nobody was there to answer. I had to get the Valet involved. We searched the bathrooms and the entire lobby. It's pretty crazy that this place charges $400 a night but they only have 1 valet, and 1 front desk person, and some some cleaning ladies that couldn't help because they don't speak English. We were furious when the guy finally showed up 30 minutes later. Several people that wanted to book went somewhere else in that time.we were very late meeting our friends. When we explained our frustration Christian didn't even apologize. He said he was in the bathroom but not any of them we checked. I said " So you're not even going to apologize or offer to do anything for us when you literally screwed 1 of our 2 nights in town when I just drove six hours racing to get here so we had time to see our friend?" He says you can have some mints, and still didn't apologize. We spoke to a staff member at the pool the next day about it. He said he has heard that happening quite often. On the second day I asked the front desk if it was possible if we could checkout 1 hour later, they said they wouldn't know until checkout but most likely since it was on Sunday. But when I asked they said No! And told me I could pay for 1/2 day. I will never stay at Virgin again in my life

    Got woken up on the last day by cleaner walking in our room at 8.15am. Cleaner made bed but did not even take dirty bins/food boxes out. Quite far out, better hotels/area further down the Gulch.

    We went to the pool Friday around 2:30 and it was very busy but there were two sitting areas that were empty from the time we arrived for over an hour. We sat on the concrete and asked if we could sit in one of them and they said they were reserved. We had one reserved for Saturday and it clearly states they will only hold it 15 minutes past your reservation. These were unoccupied for well over an hour so we left. How surprising you would give up money on two seating areas that we said we only wanted to have a couple drinks the four of us and would leave when the people showed up. Instead we sat on the edge of the freezing cold pool since couldn’t go in it. Barely anyone was in the pool.

    Valet staff was on point throughout the trip. Fast and friendly. Check in was a little clunky. Odd staff member that looked like a clown in the lobby explaining the hotel while we waited about 10 minutes for the one desk attendant to address us. Front desk staff need training on eye contact and friendly greetings. Once we checked in everything was good overall. Just a poor first impression. Nice room, coffee, shop and bar. Pool was crowded and loud which made it unaccessible. Hotel location very well situated.

    Horrible experience for $600 per night. We are locals and were there to celebrate my daughter’s 18th birthday with friends. We got to the room at 9pm after downtown dancing and headed to the pool which we were abruptly turned away from stating it was closed due to a private event. Then I argued that we were not informed of this on the multiple occasions I spoke with staff about the pool opening hours. She then stated she did not work for the hotel but for the event. Then claimed she went to ask her manager and came back stating it was closed for weather. There was no weather going on at that time. I argued this and she stated that’s all she knew. I went to the lobby to get a hotel manager who then immediately stated he was the manager from the San Antonio location so knew nothing about the Nashville location but that he imagined it was because people get drunk downtown then come back to the hotel wanting to swim and it’s a liability for them. I argued this was the only reason I booked this hotel and paid that kind of money when I live 20 minutes away. He was unwilling to do anything. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain and a lady named Robyn gave me her business card and asked me to email her and she would per my request grant us a day pass to the pool for a later date as my daughters friends could not stay that day. So 2 days later I emailed her and it has now been a week with no response. These people do not care about satisfaction. Stay elsewhere!

    Can’t say enough about the hotel. It was super clean with exceptional service, especially by Greg and Justin. It’s about a mile from downtown which was perfect, not noisy at all. The whole layout is beautiful and there is a great coffee shop and bar on the main floor.

    When we got to the room, and went to bed, we found women’s underwear still in the bedding. The restaurants and bars on the property are average food and average service for the price. The furniture is a bit run down. This place was way too much for what you get. And the cleanliness was disgusting.

    The experience that my guest and I had at the Virgin Nashville was nothing shy of amazing. They allowed us to check in early, and even gifted complimentary drinks as we waited.     Staff was great and room clean. Loved that they gave us endless supply of water. One negative was we got married on this trip and my husband wanted to surprise me with rose petals on bed which the hotel says they do. But when they found out we booked thru expedia they would not do it. I was very disappointed.

    We stayed for my friends 40th birthday and it was a great experience. There was a Christmas themed rooftop bar, set up with festive decor and delicious drinks. It was cold, so although we couldn't enjoy the rooftop itself the bar had a great view. We also enjoyed the room, everything was very clean and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. There are some places to eat in walking distance, but SO much is a 6-10$ uber ride away. It is quiet there, so if you're looking for some Broadway action, this isn't the pick for you. Expect a pricey uber during peak hours from this hotel! For us, it was the perfect balance of both luxury and fun.

    Staff was great in every capacity. Bar and dining options in main lobby and on 14th floor pool club. Only downside wad the "element" at the pool club. Pool is open to public and not exclusive for guests. Women looked and acted like grifters. We became uncomfortable with the cursing, loud, intoxicated stripper types. Not a family friendly atmosphere at all. I understand people are there for a good time but that should be reserved for guests who can afford to stay in the hotel.

    All check-in staff and all bellman were friendly, helpful, and attentive. House keeping was friendly, respectful, and attentive in keeping our room clean and tidy everyday during our stay. I took one star off in two areas due to one valet attendant being inattentive on 2 occasions and one waitstaff at the hotel restaurant being inattentive by having long personal conversation with another table while my husband and I were clearly ready for 15 minutes for our check. Ultimately we had to ask another waitstaff for our check. The waitstaff that assisted us with our check was very helpful and completed our payment in less than 5 minutes.

    Then when it came to checking out, it happened again. The staff really need to not be so letchy with the customers, it’s really put me off staying at a virgin hotel again. Lastly, they attempted to try and charge us $89.00 for an amenity fee. We were told that this was to pay for the pool party which we did not attend nor even know about. We had to argue our point and eventually they refunded this back to us. Some guests wouldn’t notice this, nor question it and I think that’s what the hotel reliy on.

    Room was small and our TV kept going out, very annoying. Our light for house keeping was broken and we only got our room cleaned once. Got bottle service at the pool and had to get a manager because we got sat and it took 30min and me complaining before we got to order anything. Manager did get us a round of shots so it did help the situation. Overall not bad but not great for the price we paid.

    The hotel is impressive, our room quite comfortable but a but items are worn - watermarks scuffs and fabric pulls on furnishings , stains on sofa.....Staff was gracious and lovely. The pool was ridiculously busy....I was expecting to sit out there and enjoy some quiet time -it was out of the question. The crowds were there to party. Cheers to them....we had a good time without pool time. The Late Great is a wonderful and beautiful addition - they need an experienced bartender to top it off.

    Housekeeping was another major issue. I had to call every single day just to request basic cleaning and fresh towels. Even then, it took hours for anyone to show up, and when they did, the cleaning was minimal at best. The biggest letdown, however, was the pool area. While the hotel’s pool itself is fairly small, it allows outside guests to use the pool, which made it nearly impossible for actual hotel guests to enjoy it. Every day it was packed to capacity, and finding a seat or space to relax was a constant struggle. The only positives were the location — which is very convenient — and the overall aesthetic of the hotel, which is beautifully designed. But sadly, those few highlights weren’t enough to outweigh the lack of comfort, cleanliness, and guest consideration.

    This hotel is amazing! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. It’s a fun vibe without being too loud or trashy. Loved the outside bar and patio with happy hour every weeknight. The rooftop pool is fun! Our room had great amenities and bed is VERY comfortable. We slept great every night and weren’t ever woken from any external noise. The coffee shop is amazing! Location is about a mile from Broadway Street - Lyft was very cheap and it’s walkable (if it wasn’t so hot out). We would definitely stay here again!

    Although a little ways from Broadway this is a gorgeous property. Staff was fantastic and friendly and rooms trendy. It would be better if pool area was for guests only as it was way too busy to enjoy. Loved that Virgin is giving back to the communities they serve and offering events such as the pet adoption evening. Was sad to miss it! Look forward to trying other Virgin properties in the future.

    Was not told there was a $300 deposit per room and that it cost $55 to park your car at the hotel that you’re already paying. Therefore, you have to pay an additional $55 a night and if you want to use the pool, you have to reserve. Most of the seats which are very expensive must be reserved or it’s first come first serve. be prepared to spend a lot of money here

    No phone in room. Asked nightly for a phone or room service or even towels. No one was helpful. Sad because I stayed here exactly a year ago and was blown away with the impeccable service and rooms. Never got clean towels or sheets changed out and didn’t leave the door on private!! Was not let into pool with DI playing like last year and it wasn’t a private event and we paid to use pool. Horrible experience will report to corporate and never staying here again! Buyer beware!!

    The hotel itself is very nice. However, I’m basing this review around the use of the rooftop pool. It’s very pretentious for what it really is. They open it to the public at 11 a.m. and the public gets preferential treatment over the paying hotel guests. We got a poolside table and were told that if someone else, who wasn’t staying at the hotel, came and paid for the table they would ask us to move. It’s a VERY small pool and area to begin with. I was very leery about the pool water itself. Didn’t seem clean as it had a yellow tint and most of the people in it were drinking all day and I never saw them get out to use the bathroom. The bathrooms themselves were dirty and unkempt. We expected more for what we paid for the rooms. The drinks were way overpriced. There are plenty of other hotels in Nashville that I won’t be staying at this one again.

    We planned a staycation at the Virgin because I had been there for a conference and thought it was a nice hotel. VERY disappointed that we did not know they opened up the pool for day passes and it wasn't reserved for hotel guests. When we arrived Saturday afternoon to use the pool it was SO crowded and full that we didn't even want to use it. Sunday AM it was open to hotel guests at 8 am. which we took advantage of. But they kicked us off the daybeds 25 minutes before the pool was to open to the public. Have never had such a bad experience at a hotel pool and I travel a lot. I will not be coming back to this hotel and it seemed like they prioritized the day pass holders instead of the people who spent money on a real hotel room. Not a good practice.

    We had a great stay at the Virgin Nashville. The hotel is very well kept and the staff is friendly and professional. We liked the location because it was away from lower Broadway but close enough (20 minutes) to walk it. The hotel was quiet enough, and the beds were comfortable. The room was well appointed. The only thing that you need to know is that the pool (which we didn't use) gets packed on the weekends because non-guests can pay to use it. The frustrating part is that you pay a resort fee and I'm not exactly sure what for. We did use the gym and it was well appointed. Overall a very positive and enjoyable stay.

    This was a cute hotel and the service was great in the hotel, but the pool was not ideal. They allow people to come in for $20 that aren't staying at the hotel and don't seem to have any sort of max capacity. This place has 10 lounge chairs. The hotel has 14 floors. When we were there a run club came in and you couldn't even move on the pool deck. I certainly wouldn't recommend this over other pools in the area whose hotels are more concerned with their guests than people who are bringing them $20.

    Staff were amazing. Greeted by Greg who was hilarious and took great care of us. Dustin & Jonathon (valet) were so nice & helpful. The pool… looks like it was never clean during our stay. Glow sticks at the bottom from the night before. Credit card floating along with clumps of hair. Disappointing.

    After having prepaid and booking my room in advance. I landed in Nashville at 930 pm and received a message from them that my booking was an error and they would not have a room for me. After all of this trouble the supervisor was incredibly rude and acted like "no big deal".

    The restaurant and first floor Our room was dirty. My dog kept finding things hidden under the bed and tables. The shower and toilet were in the same room which seems gross to me.

    Great location, dog friendly and staff was awesome! Room was also comfortable. Valet parking makes you pay all at once in the beginning which was unfortunate as we only planned to park one night out of the three.

    Location and outdoor area. I booked for the pool. However it had a private party and was not able to use. That should have been told to me before booking and at check in!!!!! We didn't receive housekeeping at all! No access to rooftop pool!
