Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. The location is generally considered to be convenient, with many attractions within walking distance. However, the cleanliness of the rooms is a concern for some guests, and the lack of free parking is a common complaint.
- Friendly and helpful staff

Clean, quiet and well maintained Located close enough to the hustle and bustle but still quiet enough to feel relaxing Excellent breakfast buffet- immaculate housekeeping and helpful and attentive staff- thank you for the great stay
- 5/5
Great location, easy walking to Broadway, Nissan stadium, Ryman, country music hall of fame and bus station.
- 5/5
Our stay here was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The amenities were excellent and the location was away from the loud busy areas but close enough to walk anywhere.
- 5/5
The hotel itself is a 10! The rooms, staff, and overall experience were excellent. However, the location was not ideal for us. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the main Broadway entertainment district, and the route includes some hills, which can be tiring, especially in the summer heat. The area around the hotel is quieter and more industrial/government-oriented than the lively Broadway tourist area. There are also bail bond offices and the downtown detention center nearby, which made us feel uncomfortable walking around at night.
- 4/5
Great home base for CMA fest. Onsite food options are limited but there is no lack of restaurants in this area. Lot’s of construction around the area but the hotel can’t do anything about the noisy neighbors.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
It was our first time there, the room was bigger than what we’re used to , first time using valet also . Staff was great even housekeeping was very friendly . Room was quiet except for the construction across the street, but not too bad . Breakfast was good awesome ! I didn’t go down and get breakfast but my husband brought me breakfast and the little cheese omelettes were amazing !! The room was hot , it really could’ve been cooler
- 4/5
Clean and convenient. Great breakfast
- 5/5
All around an amazing experience!
- 5/5
Everything was excellent. Great location for accessing Nashville. Will stay there again when visiting Nashville.
- 4.5/5
Great location to explore Nashville by foot. We were only there 2.5 days to visit family, but our time there was great and the hotel was a great asset to our our time in Nashville. Breakfast could've been better with more variety, but it was ok. Also, the toilet ran a long time after flushing. Wasn't awful, but slightly annoying.
- 5/5
However some issues around booking
- 5/5
good experience

Everything Nothing
- 4/5
We were there for 7 days and not once did housekeeping vacuum our room. That was very odd. It was a nice hotel, I felt safe in the area.
- 4/5
The suite was very nice quite large and nice amenities with the microwave and the full-size refrigerator. We were a little put off by the fact that the lights kept going off by themselves. One time in the middle of the night one of the main lights went on for no apparent reason.
- 5/5
Breakfast is included and is fairly standard for a continental spread. There is also a coffee bar available during select hours, which was a nice touch. The rooftop bar opens later in the day and offers great views, along with decent food and drinks. It was occasionally closed for private events, but we were still able to enjoy it for a short time during our stay.
- 5/5
Everyone was great, however it was painful to watch the greeter at the roof top bar have absolutely nothing to do , keep her busy, clearing tables, delivering food, setting tables, not sure that position is adding any value to your bar when there was help needed clearing tables and all the above, we mostly sat ourselves everyday
- 5/5
it was AMAZING. Loved it all.
- 5/5
The staff were so helpful, especially their manager Christiana. She went above and beyond to assist me and answer my questions. Would recommend this property to others.
- 5/5
The best hotel with the best staff. Had the perfect stay and the time of my life. 1.5km from broadway - 15 minute walk. I’d stay here every time. And I recommend it to anyone.
- 3/5
Staff is very friendly and nice. Breakfast was ok, would’ve been better if they served something different rather than the same selection 3 days in a row. The hotel had no parking lot which was a big disappointment. You have no choice but to find street parking which is impossible, or pay for a parking lot which meant a 5 min plus walk in a sketchy area near a jail with a big homeless/drug using presence all around. Last option is to pay the hotel to park and valet your car which is nice but was nearly an additional $60 a day without tips. The rooftop bar upstairs had good food and service. I also liked that there was a kitchenette in the room with a large fridge, stove top, microwave and all the cookware and supplies you need which was very convenient!
- 4/5
Convenient location for our needs. The included breakfast was appreciated. Rooftop restaurant was great food but service needs work.
- 4/5
The property was beautiful and it was nice to have restaurant lounge options located on the property. The parking was expensive for the nightly price of the hotel. Total parking for two nights was $126. The Valet attendant was not friendly when dropping off but when picking up we had a very sweet lady who brought our car to us when leaving. The bathroom ventilation fan was not working but other than that the room was very clean, quiet, and the beds were very comfortable.
- 5/5
Everything..location, cleanliness, comfort and shower was the best ever. Staff extremely accommodating!

- 4.5/5
Everything....it was the perfect location for downtown Nashville. Valet only parking with daily fees was absolute BS.
- 5/5
Staff were very nice! The place is clean and cosy!
- 5/5
While the location is a 15-minute walk to Broadway, that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing to be away from all the noise and commotion of downtown Nashville.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Perfect location. Kristen is professional but also comfortable to deal with. Valet Carla was wonderful also. Free breakfast is always fresh and hot. Would definitely stay here again.

Wish the bathroom had a fan…. Wish restaurant was open for breakfast - Rooftop was amazing! Staff was great
- 5/5
Loved our stay! The staff was amazing and accommodating, breakfast was good, fresh and hot. Close to everything, comfortable beds. 10/10 stay!
- 5/5
download the app and travel all day for dollars. nothing was too much trouble for the staff Well pleased
- 5/5
Staff especially Kristan on receptionist desk were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was complimentary with full buffet to suit everyone’s tastes and needs . The atmosphere was clean and appealing very comfortable beds . Excellent washroom and shower facilities . Patio on ground level with ample comfortable seating with propane fire pits . Barbecue facilities there if you wish to use them . Over all excellent hotel and would certainly highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay while in Nashville to take advantage of this fine facility.
- 5/5
I traveled solo to Nashville for the first time. The property was clean and comfortable and in a terrific location. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities were great!
- 5/5
The breakfast had a great variety and was great!! The staff were very friendly and helpful!! Would definitely recommend it to anyone I know going to Nashville !! Amazing just amazing!!
- 5/5
Aesthetic, clean, many services, comfortable Staff is not super professional and can be friendlier. Any request is met with a rude reply or defensive attitude. They are pleasant but could do a lot better to fit the hotel.

My wife and I can’t express enough how much we enjoyed our stay at your hotel, from the friendly front desk staff, the surprise complimentary drinks, dinner vouchers and tickets to the country music museum, breakfast staff, the beautiful clean rooms, everyone was so friendly, we loved visiting your rooftop diner and bar and the lower patio deck with the fire tables, where we liked to go at the end of the night, we certainly will be recommending you to all our friends and hope to see you again one day.❤️

Everything....it was the perfect location for downtown Nashville. Valet only parking with daily fees was absolute BS.
- 4/5
Good breakfast and nice bar/restaurant. Current construction next door started very early
- 5/5
We enjoyed the convenience of the breakfast with a typical selection for a hotel breakfast.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean and well maintained I only stayed for one night but found no issues
- 4/5
Great location and beautiful hotel nice that it has a restaurant loved my room wish room I rented had a kitchenette. Very pricey for parking and a pet. I didn’t see anything in the information about having to pay a 50+ dollar parking fee and that they only had valet. Also did not include information about $120 pet fee which is super high in my experience.

The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. The air conditioning setting was perfect. The staff was so kind and helpful. Very cool to have a lounge on the roof to enjoy drinks. Within walking distance of so many major attractions. Excellent hotel!
- 5/5
Everything top notch including the staff
- 5/5
The front desk staff was super friendly getting us checked in and handling questions as needed. We didn't eat at the Top Note but we did enjoy drinks in the bar and spending time on the open deck with views of the Nashville skyline. The hotel was convenient to the places we were going and we were able to walk to most of the points of interest that we wanted to go to. Because of the location Uber rides were pretty cheap for the times that we needed to get somewhere further away or at a set time.
- 3/5
Breakfast can be improved Why the resort fees charge?
- 5/5
Clean room, super friendly staff, loved the amenities! Wish the restaurant and coffee shop were open more hours.
- 5/5
Hotel spot on for our needs. Room was perfect, beds really comfy. Breakfast was great especially having the option of hot food. Broadway within easy walking distance
- 5/5
Great place to stay! 15 minute walk to Broadway. Fantastic lady, originally from Albania, works in the breakfast buffet gave us fantastic first class personal service!! Every morning she was there to greet us and make us feel very welcome! I do not know her name, but she was a joy to see every morning. She even made us breakfast sandwiches for 6 am before restaurant opening because we had a very early flight. Big hugs to her from the 4 “dancing ladies from Canada”!! Would stay again.

Rooms were clean and updated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air and heat worked perfectly with quick response. Price was very good for what you get. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff here were all so wonderful, helpful and very polite! We stayed for 4 days and the breakfast was such a necessity and a great bonus for our trip. The rooms, lobby and common spaces were super clean. Great hotel great location!
- 5/5
Very good hotel, close to the Nashville entertainment district!
- 5/5
Room was made up every day and clean towels. Comfortable bed and great facilities. Good location for downtown and the park. Shame the rooftop bar does not open until 4pm, would have been nice to have lunch there. Only suggestion is the room could have been hoovered as we were there a week and had quite a few bits on the floor.
- 5/5
Would stay in again.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 5/5
We had a great experience. We came to Nashville for a girls trip. The hotel was a little over half a mile from Broadway, so we walked there and back most of the time, but it was quick and easy to use Lyft or Uber as well. We enjoyed the breakfast and Moonshot coffee shop. Drinks on the rooftop were a perk. The room itself was spacious. It has a kitchenette, which was great for the fridge to store beverages and the microwave to heat delicious pastries we got from Buttermilk Ranch in the 12 South neighborhood.
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly. Clean hotel. Nothing
- 5/5
Everyone was friendly. Clean hotel. Nothing
- 5/5
Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The room was clean and it was in a great location, walking distance from important sights!
- 5/5
Awesome!!
- 5/5
The breakfast was great clean , nothing was ever empty . They kept refilling . Well done 👏
- 5/5
Walking distance to downtown. Maybe 15 minute walk.
- 4/5
This was an excellent property: the breakfast was reasonably good. I just wish they had had plain scrambled eggs one or two of the days we stayed, but overall the property was really very nice and helped to make our trip to Nashville special.
- 5/5
Clean and very friendly staff No complaints

- 5/5
The rooms are fabulous
- 5/5
Breakfast was really good, rooms were well equipped and great location. Andie at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is that the pillows are not very comfortable but a small thing compared to all the good qualities of the hotel .
- 1/5
Very disappointed for what I paid.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and excellent location. Good breakfast options and friendly staff.
- 5/5
My stay at this hotel was GREAT! The staff was amazing and super helpful… from check-in, roof top bar staff, breakfast staff, etc. The hotel is clean and modern, with outdoor spaces, coffee shop and rooftop. There are also many fire pits. We also received a coupon for a free drink at check in. Would definitely recommend!!
- 5/5
Very good
- 5/5
Everything was perfect
- 4/5
Had a problem with water temp but they came and fixed it immediately and they were super nice! No free parking close by. Forced to do valet almost
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 4/5
I wish the outdoor space offered more sunshine (totally shaded by the building) and I wish the rooftop was open all day.
- 5/5
I can’t believe that a hotel can be built without parking available for its guests and then guests have to pay an additional $52/day plus valet service.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, clean and we'll maintained.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great, staff was friendly, room was clean & we loved having a mini-suite so we could store & warm up food. Conveniently located with only a short walk to Broadway St.
- 5/5
Avi is the best at Top Side. Service and views were fantastic.
- 5/5
The breakfast was just okay. There were only two hot options aside from waffles and both days it was just so so. That wpuld be the only thing I would suggest to improve.
- 5/5
Location and quality Parking very expensive

- 5/5
Stayed for a concert.. everything was wonderful. Will definitely book next time in Nashville.
- 5/5
The location was excellent! Not too close to music row but within walking distance. Parking is not included in the price of the hotel. You can valet for $55 a day or park in public parking for $30 a day.
- 2.5/5
The way we were greeted was very uncomfortable. The person checking us in was a manager and not very friendly. It felt like we were a bother. The elevator was a joke! Nobody could figure it out!! Needs to be more of a variety for breakfast.
- 5/5
Excellent location to just about everything.
- 2/5
It would have been nice if they would have let you know ahead of time that there was NO parking. Valet cost $65.00 per night. Our son had a room as well and had to pay hourly on the street for parking.
- 1/5
The girl who handled cleaning our room was very good and super friendly. The food was not as good as we had expected. The front desk people at registration were rude and unfriendly. You expect more behind the name Marriott and the expensive costs to stay there. Big disappointment.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
There is a $20 daily fee applied which is a total money grab!!! Also no safes in room.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5

- 5/5

- 5/5
The staff was SO nice. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly. Breakfast was great. The room was comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Very clean and the staff was accommodating and friendly. Slightly pricy but as to be expected in Nashville!
- 5/5
Staff was great
- 4/5
Perhaps invest in a better breakfast. Or options for people to upgrade to full fresh breakfast.
- 4/5
Clean, safe, location, breakfast
- 3/5
We were charged $20 a day and understood that it was tobe charged once. Wasn't explained to us properly and did not get used. The breakfast ladies were awesome, would have been given a 5 star if we hadn't lost a $100.
- 4/5
Great location, it was a walking distance to Broadway. The breakfast area was small and there was a lot of guests staying at the time since they just had the snow storm, also the breakfast didn’t have a lot of variety of food
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5

Very impressed with the customer service throughout our stay. The valet group in particular were top notch
- 5/5
Room was spotless. Service was great. Brianna at the front desk was wonderful to work with. Serviwgood. I got great sleep.
- 5/5
Everything was great. Staff and room were wonderful
- 3/5
Room in good condition. Great location so I understand the high price for a single room. However, I would request you eliminate the mandatory $20 deduction from the security deposit to pay for an alcoholic drink that is often not wanted (or shouldn't have due to alcoholism) and $10 to spend at an overpriced coffee shop! The room rate should have also covered free parking for the price you charge.
- 5/5
Absolutely great..
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly and helpful!
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Breakfast was pretty average . Better eggs and a potato dish would be nice
- 5/5
The staff was amazing.
- 5/5
Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great hotel, fabulous location for Broadway. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff.
- 3.5/5
Very convenient and in walking distance to Broadway No issues with the property itself except I booked on Booking.com paid in full on Booking.com got to the hotel put my card on file and they charge me for my whole day again I was charged two times and I am on day six since checking in and I still have not received my money back
- 4/5
The room was amazing. I just wish parking were included. The website needs to be updated because it makes you think parking is available, but it's only valet parking with a daily fee of $50.00.
- 5/5
Everything was very clean, friendly staff, delicius breakfast. The adjacent coffee shop is very good and convenient! Great place to stay!
- 5/5
When booking did not realize they did not have their own parking but there is a valet service which was nice.
- 5/5
Great staff!
- 5/5
Room was comfortable. Construction view was not optimum. Several blocks walk to Broadway.
- 4/5
Initial Room had no hot water moved us to another room that was next to a construction zone and constant train traffic. But room was clean very large. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Neat and modern N/a
- 5/5
Breakfast wasn't that great taste wise Better selection of food
- 5/5
Clean, great staff and convenient. We used Uber and this was a great central location!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed our stay here. Great customer service at front desk and in restaurant/bar. Very clean and well organized and breakfast was really good.
- 5/5
Breakfast area was small
- 5/5
Very clean. Rooms spacious. Kitchenette well stocked. Heat and air very comfortable. Not immediately downtown so not real close to restaurants. Uber very convenient. NO hotel parking. Most lots were $40 per night. Breakfast was excellent.
- 2/5
Hotel had no parking and was not warned. Had to pay extra for a valet to take vehicle somewhere. Had no access while there.
- 5/5
We have not had the greatest luck with the hotels we have stayed in recently but this stay was exceptional. Every staff memeber from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping to vallet were super friendly and helpfull. The room was really nice. Everything was super clean and nothing looked like it needed fixing. The bed and couch were comfortable. Liked the closet and small kitchen. Also, it was not too far of a walk to the honkytonk action. Definately would stay again and will recommend this hotel to friends. Thanks to all!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, and the room was very clean. I would absolutely stay there again.
- 5/5
Amazing staff! Clean hotel! A great spot to stay in the city!
- 5/5
excellent location. great stay.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Nice big room. Paying for parking is The worst thing about Nashville hotel.
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Kristen was an amazing lady who helped my daughter resolve an issue when getting her flight delayed and her room cancelled because she got to Nashville a day later than planned.
- 5/5
The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The lobby is spacious with a fantastic outdoor seating area. We enjoyed the onsite coffee shop & rooftop bar. We felt safe walking to the many bars & restaurants nearby.
- 4/5
Room was quiet, clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Beautiful and great stuff and location, thanks!!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, clean room, and 24 hr access to ice water and tea. The fitness center had multiple treadmills and such and had a good selection of free weights and kettle bells. I would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Room was spotless staff very helpful over all great stay
- 5/5
There big construction pit and their building some thing next to the hotel.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good location.
- 5/5

- 1/5
Didnt even stay here. The hotel still charged me after Expedia knew i canceled the booking. Will never use Expedia again and will never use this hotel when they knew my booking was canceled.
- 5/5
Nice large room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast choices.
- 5/5
Great stay! Highly recommend
- 1/5
What’s not happy a at all with this place I upgraded in my room to a suite because we wanted a dining table. That’s what stated on the pictures but when we got there, it was not one in our room. Talk to the manager. She said that the pictures were inaccurate, it was a little rude about it. Also beware they will charge you an additional $20 tourist charge. daily. Also, if you’re thinking of running a car don’t the daily parking rate is $50 in addition to that they added another $80 for a total of 380 for my stay. The town is great, but there’s other options for your stay this should not be one of them.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly. Breakfast had lots of variety and rooms were very clean.
- 4/5
Clean room, but lighting in bathroom is too low for putting on makeup & seeing up close. Couch pull out bed was very uncomfortable & bed mattress in bedroom just ok. Loved the 7th floor restaurant & outdoor seating & fire pits. Employees were all very helpful & courteous.
- 4/5
It was a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Great service from top to bottom.
- 5/5
We’ll definitely stay here again. Staff was great and friendly!! Easy walk to broadway. Valet service was easy to use and convenient.
- 3/5
Air conditioning never fully cooled the room. Sink drain was not working great. Floor of shower dirty and ceiling above shower head was moldy and cracking. Beds not very comfortable. Room service was nonexistent and came only once. Never got more Kleenex and did not speak English to help with our requests. This location also right next to a jail and felt a bit unsafe. The coffee house staff and front desk staff were not friendly and didn’t seem to care. Would not stay in this hotel again.
- 4/5
Worked for our plans
- 5/5
The staff was friendly and very charming. When you walked in it smelt amazing. I love how there was a roof top bar with live music. Definitely will go again
- 5/5
Loved the hotel. We didn't get to check the roof top but the hotel top notch. The rooms clean and the hotel staff very welcoming. Will stay there anytime!

- 5/5
Great !
- 5/5
Did not use the laundry service. Staff were very helpful and nice. Mu husband liked the rooftop bar and restaurant. We ate there for my birthday. The kitchen was well equipped, I was able ro fix meals almost everyday. We did not use the valet service except to keep our car safe while we were there.
- 4/5
Enjoyed our stay there. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
- 5/5
Staff was fabulous. Very friendly and outgoing. Surrounding area left a bit to be desired
- 5/5
Noisy room, refrigerator was too loud.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
It was pleasant, the area was in a wonderful spot near the stadium. The morning breakfast was great! Everything about our stay was wonderful
- 3/5
Staff have processed an unauthorised credit card payment, using saved credit card details for a DIFFERENT guest with the same name. I left 7 weeks ago, and this guy checked in yesterday, yet they still retain your credit card details forever and now I have paid for his bill.
- 5/5
It was very close to where I needed to be and the staff were so helpful. Close to a police station, where there were quite a few homeless people hanging around, but no one really bothered me.
- 5/5
All the staff were excellent
- 5/5
It’s an awesome place to stay. 6 blocks from broadway and we’re able to walk to many museums and the farmers market. Staff were always polite and smiling every day. Restaurant upstairs had fantastic food and staff were great.
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 4/5
It’s a good round hotel. The gym is good for I needed
- 5/5
Great staff. Clean room.
- 4/5
The *destination* fees of 20$ and the *H+B outlet* fee of 10$ is ridiculous... what ever these fees are for should be stated and given to the customer prior to completion of booking. A description of these fees should also be included.
- 5/5
To be good quality and excellent value. We were very happy with the hotel, room, location and breakfast. The biggest question for most will be the location. It’s great. Easy 10 minute walk to Broadway, Germantown, East Nashville, Nissan Stadium and First Horizon baseball stadium which we all did. It’s also a block from the main bus station which I’d recommend to use as it’s easy, good and cheap at $4 a day. You’ll see the reviews about it being across the road from a prison. It’s actually diagonally opposite the back of a block of government services including court, justice centre and youth detention centre which is expected as it’s in the capitol district. We saw nothing to be concerned about and walked home at night from Broadway quite comfortably. Rooms are large, well maintained, quiet with double glazing and block out curtains, full kitchen, nice bathroom and shower, comfortable king size beds and good AC. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nice Roof top bar with good food and views. Free breakfast is great with full continental and hit inclusions (omelette, sausage and waffles) in a nice dining area. $20 destination fee per room per day but you get welcome drinks on arrival, $10 food and beverage credit per day and free entry to the musicians hall of fame which is good and close by. Highly recommend for the value given you’ll pay twice the price off Broadway.

Very nice hotel and walkable to the bars on Broadway. Has a rooftop bar with good food and happy hour drink and appetizer specials. There is also a free buffet breakfast.
- 5/5
Breakfast was great and front desk staff were friendly
- 5/5
Super quiet, nice employees and easy to get to the football stadium!
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious room. The staff was very nice and the young lady bartender at the rooftop bar was wonderful!
- 4/5
No parking on site. Had to pay for spot in neighboring parking lot.
- 5/5
Great location walkable to most areas easy for Ubers to get to and from also close to the bus depot for shopping malls etc . The breakfast was good, plenty to choose from although the same everyday. The rooftop restaurant was also very good. All the staff were friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Exceeded of high expectations. Very clean, with amazing staff
- 5/5
Rooms are clean, the full size fridge and kitchen was a plus. The beds and pillows were amazing. Made it hard to get out of bed. The only thing I would change is the shower head. It’s very high (7+ feet) and the water pressure wasn’t great. The breakfast was awesome with a small selection of hot items (usually some type of sausage and eggs), lots of different breads, make your own waffles, yogurt and cold cereal. The oatmeal is made fresh and was really good. There were plenty of “stir in” options for the oatmeal including nuts, dried fruits, coconut and granola. I think it was the most popular breakfast option!!! . It is walkable to Broadway, took us about 15 - 20 minutes but we didn’t mind at all. The detention center is close but that just means there are police around at any given time. I never felt unsafe even walking at 1am. There is construction to the left of the building but honestly, we never heard it! I highly recommend this hotel. For the price, it’s steal.
- 5/5
We were very happy with the hotel and our suite was great. The only downfall was the construction right outside our balcony. But can't blame. Would definitely stay there againthe hotel for that
- 5/5
Everything was on point
- 3/5
Please don't stay here. Hotel has cockroaches. This picture was taken on the first night we arrived. Construction is next door and they don't warn paying guests of loud noise early in the morning.

Good value

Clean, well maintained, great amenities, friendly staff, comfortable bed, lovely roof top patio.
- 5/5
The bed was comfortable and clean. There was the right amount of pillows ont he bed
- 5/5
The staff has been very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Great stay! Nice room. Great staff.
- 5/5
Even though the hotel was across the street from the detention center, we felt very safe and the area was very quiet and clean!! Would highly recommend!
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here multiple time and the area is safe with good convenient options from food and a super market. I would recommend anyone looking for a long stay because they have a kitchen and full fridge option.

My new favorite hotel in Nashville! The front desk staff was so accommodating and the location is the best for our walk to Nissan Stadium. We will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
This was a wonderful place to stay. Many people could walk but we took UBER to hear the music on Broadway. We got home to a quiet peaceful place to sleep.
- 5/5
Very clean and employees helpful. Good location for all entertainment.
- 5/5
Super friendly staff!!

😎
- 5/5
It was beautiful and quiet but too far from the action.
- 5/5
Great location, within easy walk to downtown etc. the room was well appointed, with nice amenities, comfortable bed etc. The continental type breakfast was a good start to the morning as too the on premise coffee shop. The stand out note were the staff, helpful, genuine and professional, but the standout was JC, the awesome bar manger at the rooftop bar, he was the go to guy for anything and everything, a real nice guy and awesome brand ambassador, would definitely stay here again…… but only if JC is there too lol
- 5/5
Property rooftop was beautiful. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms were nice and clean. Will definitely stay there again. Walking distance to Broadway St.
- 1/5
Room was clean and updated, but unexpected charges were costly and unexpected. For example: $50 / day charge for valet parking with no other parking options. Check in fee was $30 more than quoted due to requiring museum tickets being added to the final bill without the option to refuse the tickets. Bait and switch tactics.
- 5/5
The hotel’s location is ideal—tucked just a short walk from the lively action on Broadway, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet for an early bedtime. It’s right across the street from the Music Hall of Fame and a trolley stop, making it super convenient for exploring. Plus, there’s a fantastic sports bar, Johnathan’s, just a quick stroll down the street, where the staff—Georgia, Cody, and Kellen—were incredibly welcoming and provided top-notch service from the moment we walked in. The staff at TownePlace Suites truly elevated the experience. Jessica, JC, and Annabelle at the hotel and TOP Note bar were amazing, offering friendly and attentive service that made us feel right at home. The combination of a great location, peaceful atmosphere, and exceptional staff makes this hotel a gem. Whether you’re here for the Nashville energy or a relaxing getaway, TownePlace Suites strikes the perfect balance. Highly recommend!

Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

I was amazing
- 5/5
The front desk staffs were very supportive & helpful.
- 5/5
Very nice staff. Close to everything
- 5/5
The very friedly and helpcul staff. The spacious and well equipped, comfortable suites. The complimentary breakfast and the rooftop restaurant.
- 5/5
It was a great place to stay that offered alot of amenities. Great spot that was walkable to several locations.
- 4/5
Personnel très accueillant, très propre et bien situé. Seul bémol : ustensiles et assiettes jetables pour le déjeuner et très peu de conscience écologique !
- 4/5
Breakfast was a bit boring. Same “menu” each morning for 12 Days.
- 5/5
No complaints whatsoever…clean, modern. Staff very friendly. Great location and within walking distance to broadway and Nissan Stadium. Would definitely recommend a stay again.
- 5/5
We stayed for CMA Fest and it was within a 20 minute walking distance to Nissan Stadium. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. They were also very friendly. The bed was comfortable and not too soft for me.
- 5/5
Our room was spacious and perfectly suited for a longer stay (we were there for six nights). We really enjoyed the beautiful rooftop patio. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, and the breakfast each morning was excellent. The only thing to keep in mind is that parking costs $50 USD per day, which is in line with other public lots nearby. However, for us, converting the rate to our home currency made it a bit pricey. Overall, though, this didn’t take away from our experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!
- 5/5
Perfect accommodations with an incredibly friendly staff. When I come back to Nashville I will be staying here again.
- 5/5
The stay was fabulous. I would definitely go back and stay. Very clean!!
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Walking distance to broadway . Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and competent. Nice rooftop bar and grounds were perfect for sitting outside.
- 5/5
Staff very helpful.
- 5/5
Very welcoming and comfortable.
- 5/5
Very nice staff and clean property. Convenient for a walk around the capital. Restaurant was relaxing with a great view.
- 5/5
Just (May 2025) stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was everything we expected and needed. Lovely clean throughout and very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good but could get quite busy at popular times. The roof top bar and restaurant was a very enjoyable environment and some were lovely to get an evening snack or drink. The hotel offered a room to store our luggage while we went for our final day after check out. The one thing that might split opinions, is the location. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from Broadway. This is a bonus when it comes to the distance from the noise and hustle of downtown, but can be an issue for the walk to get to downtown. We found a great restaurant/ bar called Johnathons in German town just a block and a half away from the hotel.
- 5/5
Very clean friendly staff
- 5/5
Great property and stay.
- 5/5
Nicest staff I've ever had at a hotel!
- 5/5
At first, I was a little put off by it being near some not-so-attractive establishments, such as a Bail Bonds business and what I thought was a mental health facility, but it turned out to be a very good location in terms of ease of getting to what you want to see. Despite the above, it seemed very safe. Looks to be an up and coming "redevelopment area" so saddle up, it's quite good.
- 5/5
Extremely nice staff! Easy check in and lots to do within walking distance!
- 5/5
This hotel is in the best area for walking all over downtown Nashville. The rooms are clean and super quiet and the free breakfast is super convenient. I would highly recommend.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay at the Downtown Marriott friendly staff nice and clean
- 5/5
Had to pay for parking close to hotel or park in the adjacent parking lot ( inconvenient location to haul luggage up stairs). I do not believe guest should pay to park at any hotel.
- 5/5
Its a hidden gem in downtown Nashville
- 3/5
We stayed at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/Capitol District from May 4th to May 11th. Overall we had a great experience at this property, but there was one negative part. When we checked in we were given an accessible room, which we never requested nor needed. The bed in the room was very low to the ground and the mattress was in terrible shape - it absolutely needs to be replaced. I reported this to the front desk the morning after our arrival but nothing was done for us and I received a very negative response when I inquired about changing rooms. This was the only negative interaction during the trip but since we were staying there for so many nights we had hoped for a better sleeping situation.
- 5/5
We had a well laid out suite, which was clean and maintained well. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was varied with many choices. Coffee and tea offerings were also good. Checking in and out was easy. We would recommend to friends and family.
- 3/5
Housekeeping staff were excellent and the front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. What I didn’t like that left a negative feeling during check out was the charges incurred for the hotels coupon promotion which was a surprise that cost me over 100 dollars that was billed to me that was never used because of lack of clarityl. My understanding of the 20 dollar coupon was that it was a one time deal which we used. The other 100 plus dollars that was charged to my visa was hard to accept as we unknowingly did not use it.!I have stayed at many hotels around the world and have never been subject to this type of charge. My understanding when I first checked in is that the money held on my credit card was going towards a security deposit that is refundable when you check out.
- 5/5
The area maybe isn't the most scenic -- at the time of our stay, we were surrounded by construction sites and very boring, gray buildings -- but overall we were VERY pleased with literally everything else at this hotel. My wife and I try to avoid Broadway at all costs so it can be tricky if we're attending an event in the area. This hotel is several blocks away from the obnoxious celebration of alcoholism and while you can get to it on foot rather easily, it seemed a world away. The area is very quiet and seemed very safe. We were able to walk to Nissan Stadium in about 15 minutes, which was very nice. Rooms were clean and spacious, I loved the on-site gym and we enjoyed the hotel restaurant. Staff was very polite and jovial. Aside from the "concrete jungle" surroundings, we loved everything about our stay!
- 5/5
We had a great stay! The coffee shop food menu was wrong which wasn't ideal but the food we did order was amazing!
- 5/5
Great location at reasonable price for purposes of our Nashville stay.
- 5/5
Please not that there is a $20 USD fee charge per night once you check in. This was a surprise to us. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
All good. Nice place. Newish rooms. Slow to get taxi however for some reason.
- 5/5
Great location close and convenient to walk to Broadway but very quiet.
- 5/5
This was a nice hotel with great access to all things musical. The hotel is very clean. The bed is comfortable. The restaurant had nice choices and a great view for dinner door and outdoor eating. We will return.
- 4/5
The $20 per day extra charge called “destination fee” was not explained that it is an extra charge on top of room rate .
- 5/5
Great hotel - not really in a tourist area. Easy walk to Broadway but through a quiet Close to the bus station (we used the bus from/to the airport and to Grand Ole Opry - only $2). Easy walk to Broadway but through

This was going to be a holiday of a lifetime, it all started so well. The second night the power went in the hotel so there was no lighting no hot water etc, obviously not the fault of the hotel however we were given the choice to move to another hotel for the night which I did but I had to pay for it myself! I was promised that I would be refunded that money however when I’ve contacted Expedia to get my refund the hotel has refused to refund any money! We weren’t offered torched or any way to shower that is why we moved for ONE night! I feel let down by this hotel as the front desk manager at the time promised me a refund! I will Never use these hotels again!!
- 5/5
We really enjoyed the stay and the staff was very nice and personal. We will definitely be starting again.
- 5/5
Although not right downtown for Broadway it was within good walking distance. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. The roof top restaurant was nice but the service was slow. The room was great, beds comfy. The only thing I hated was the only option for parking was a $57 valet for one night. That sucks
- 5/5
Had such a fabulous time. Beautiful hotel and room. Delicious breakfast.Happy hour on the 7th floor restaurant was excellent. The staff was so friendly everywhere!
- 3/5
The Hotel was conveniently located. Roof Top Bar has a great bartender, food, drinks and outside patio. Breakfast was not very good. Coffee Shop was good. I booked a 1 Bedroom King Suite thru Bonvoy site. It cost $1468.00 for three nights. Outrageous since the same room was $250 per nite if I booked it for the next week. I cancelled it when I saw Hotels.com had the same room $165.00 less. When we checked in our room was literally one floow DOWN from the Lobby. The Room was very dark, we could not open our drapes because the Bedroom and Living area were on the street/sidewalk. I have never in my life paid that much to be in the Basement of a Hotel. The only reason it was called a Suite was because the bedroom had its own room with a door. No Frills, not even body lotion on the bathroom sink. Very disappointed that we were given this room.

The first day we checked in, there was no power until 11:00 that night. unable to shower, no lights/darkness all day. They did not give us a credit to eat anywhere else. The gym had no wipes for two days to wipe down the machines nor was there paper towels after washing your hands in the bathroom. We were very disappointed with our stay
- 3/5
The location was great close to everything. We stayed here 4 nights. On our second day, we had no hot water in our room and notified front desk, they sent someone to fix it but there was only warm water. On the 3rd day, the hotel lost power for approximately 24 hours and we were unable to take showers as there was no hot water and we were also unable to charge our phones. Our package included daily breakfast/coffee. Due to the power outage, we had to go out and purchase coffee. We asked front desk to move us to another Marriott hotel or compensate us for the inconvenience, they told us to contact Expedia.
