I had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. I lost my phone and credit card and informed the staff, yet I was forced to wait outside my room for three hours before being allowed to pay. Eventually, I found my items but was charged an extra $400, despite already paying $1,450 for the stay and over $2,000 on food and drinks. The staff treated me disrespectfully, making me feel like a criminal rather than a guest. I do not recommend this hotel

Beautiful hotel. Updated rooms, thoughtfully decorated. I utilized the spa which was very relaxing. Rooftop bar, pool & gym are the cherry on top!

It was very modern and the standard was excellent. Live music in the lobby was incredible. The bed was not comfortable. Very soft when I woke up I didn’t feel rested well. The spa was not on the same level. Way too expensive for that level of treatment. Unfortunately no sauna and extended wellness area.

The only minor issue we had was that we felt that the housekeeping came rather late in the day, if at all, and we had to call the front desk to get someone to come up and clean the room. This only happened on one day. Overall we would definitely consider staying at the hotel again,

Everything was wonderful the only thing I have to complain about is that the air conditioning wasn’t the best. It was hot most of the time even tho the thermostat said 65 it was still kinda hot to us. Even for a person that sleeps in the bed with a heated blanket she said it was hot. Other than that the place was amazing and the staff was amazing.

I absolutely loved how comfortable the bed and especially the pillows were!! Great location and easy to walk to attractions nearby from. Highly recommend staying here.

I just ordered coffee and a pastry. Did not have breakfast. I did not know if it was included? At this price it would be nice to see a breakfast included. The valet entrance is not clear. It is hard to know how to get into the hotel.

Property is not a 5 star hotel at all. But it was convenient and clean. Rooms are very small. Staff was not friendly and nothing special about stayng here. Valet was awesome though. Friendliest valet I've ever experienced. Hard working, polite. That's the highlight of the whole hotel.

The room was not cleaned or restocked properly which was very disappointing. We had an event and I scheduled a blow out but the person was not a stylist it was at the hotel very odd and disappointing. We would not stay there again

Great location and walked everywhere!

I took off one star due to the lack of personality’s of the bartenders. The Speak Easy staff were friendly not very good at conversation but the drinks were delicious. The pool bar was absolutely not friendly and the drinks were terrible! The bartender was so rude we didn’t return. The pool was the attraction and reason for us booking the stay at the Joseph. The greeters were the best part of our stay. They were all so friendly and we looked forward to seeing them everyday! The staff other than the pool bartender were all 5 stars.

Two of the 4 days certain facilities were "closed" for private events, restaurant one evening and pool Sunday morning until noon. A little frustrating, especially when paying that kind of money for the stay.

The hotel is lovely, great location and the staff are helpful if you ask but not forthcoming with information without asking Staff are not forthcoming with information unless you ask specific questions for example when I checked in I wasn’t told about the gym or the pool had to locate them myself

Fantastic location downtown we were there to attend a concert at the Ascend Amphitheater and explore. A wonderful property and excellent staff. If you get the chance, check out Denim's rooftop bar. I highly recommend trying the truffle fries.

The Joseph is an excellent hotel. We loved hanging out at the pool, the staff were very attentive, they always had a smile, enthusiasm and even though it was extremely hot nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate dinner at Yolan the hotel’s restaurant and the steak was the best I have ever tasted. Every morning we would get pastries and eat them in our room with coffee. Oh man I miss those pastries were so yummy. It was the highlight of my morning.

Beautiful hotel, with lovely amenities from the pool, to the art and the service, being offered a water after strolling through Nashville on a hot day goes a long way. Our room was ready upon arrival a few hours earlier than we expected and we are forever grateful.

Great location, 2 blocks from Broadway and across from Bridgestone arena. Easy walk to Pancake Palace and The Diner for breakfast. We also walked to Nissan Stadium for the game. Very clean, great staff, nice gym and pool areas.

The customer service is top notch. We felt very special to be their guests. Our family of three loved our stay, and we cannot wait to come back to this great hotel.

Bedding was so comfortable might be a little too soft for some but comfortable for sure! Staff were friendly and quick with providing anything that I needed. I cannot say enough about the nice time that I had.

Spa was way over priced and locker room was horrible. No shelves on lockers and no bench to sit on. 385 for a poor massage and no service. Will never recommend or stay here again.

The design and artwork throughout the hotel were stunning, showcasing a modern, thoughtful aesthetic. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention to detail went into both the construction of this new hotel and its day-to-day operations. The location was also perfect — just a short walk to Broadway, great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. We would absolutely recommend staying here!

We loved the location, room, staff and luxury feel.

The hotel was very nice and what we love most about it was it’s proximity to Broadway Street. But it was still nice to not be right on the busy streets, but within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and bars.

The service from the employees at this property was top notch. Frankly, I haven't experienced this level of service since pre-Covid, and I'm grateful it exists somewhere. The property was ideally located for a quick walk to Broadway. It's a beautiful property. The room was immaculate and comfortable. The amenities were great. There's a rooftop pool, and a great Speakeasy on the 2nd floor, where the cocktails imaginative and tasty.

Everything was wonderful from the staff to the cleanliness of the room! My daughter loved working out in the gym that was located on the top floor. It was well stocked with everything you needed. The only complaint I do have is that the pool closed early at 8PM. Otherwise, the hotel was beautiful in every sense. Highly recommend!

I had to go across the street at the Omni to access their wifi. No one could help me figure out why.

I stood at this property from 6/27-6/30 then ended up extending until 7/1 because of last minute changes due to military purposes. It was a very unfortunate and unpleasant experience/stay and I was highly disappointed with the unprofessional service and lack of respect my partner and I received. Our room did not have properly functioning air conditioning the first 2 days. I bought up the issue 3 times within the first 48 hours. It was not until the 3rd time when I spoke to a very respectable young lady named “Hannah” who sent a maintenance team up there and finally got cool air conditioning running thoughout our room, along with that was a temperature issue with our beverage fridge that ultimately never got fixed unfortunately. There was an incident at the rooftop restaurant Denim where the host had told my partner and I that they were closing in 30 minutes, and we had time for 1 drink, that we needed to be respectful and use our inside voice. We then proceeded to ask the bartender about a food delivery being that their kitchen was closed. The host then aggressively interrupts us mid conversation with the bartender to state that we are not allowed to order food to the bar and that if we wanted to eat we’d have to go to our room or the hotel lobby. He commented with the following “I don’t want you to have your food all sprawled out on the bar here”. My partner and I just proceeded to close our check and leave for the night because of how uncomfortable the host made us.

The hotel was nice in general and the room had good style. At almost $700 a night I was disappointed with the minibar that barely kept things luke warm, the barely functional AC and the lack of tea options.

The entire staff from the valet, servers and restaurants, front desk and Double man were all fantastic. Everyone was very accommodated. We came up there for a birthday celebration. The spa wouldn’t be extra step to even give me a little departing birthday gift. We had a very relaxing time. We live only an hour outside of Nashville and we never consider staying anywhere else because we are so satisfied with the Joseph. I feels like a home away from home.

The valet was amazing helping me. Darak amazing helping me park the bike and trailer. The rooms where ok not what i was expecting and small.

Our stay at the Joseph exceeded our expectations. When you are inside the hotel you do not feel like you are in Nashville but two blocks away are all the sights, sounds and smells of the Broadway experience. The Joseph staff was kind and helpful, the accomodations beautiful, the pool a perfect blend of peaceful and lively, the food and service at Denim exceptional. We can't wait to go back!

The bathrooom lights are very dark. Every time I left all the lights would turn on so my daughter would wake up.

Great place to stay ! I stayed there for 3 days ! The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and coffee , pool is located right next to the rooftop bar, it’s really nice however crowded on weekends . The gym is very modern and basically has everything you need when you’re travelling ! The rooms are modern spacious clean and the beds are very comfortable too

Welcome property with multiple good bar spaces to gather with friends for a terrific martini! Friendly and helpful staff. Well-appointed rooms. The beds are incredibly uncomfortable. Pricey!

We arrived about one and a half hours before the 4 pm checkin. Our room was not ready so they said they would contact us when it was. They kept making excuses and finally at 4 pm we asked why we hadn't been notified. They said there was a staff change and basically they forgot us even thought we were sitting right across from the front desk for more than an hour. They just didn't care what to us was a serious miscommunication. This is NOT a 5 star hotel!

Rooms were excellent and the restaurant was exceptional!! Huge oversight not having both a MUCH LARGER entry area and WHY DONT YOU HAVE AUTOMATIC DOORS!!!??? That’s really unfortunate for such an expensive hotel!!! Who designed that portion of the build?? And who the heck approved the plan!!?? Not good!!!

The hotel was great and close walking distance to explore. We were on the 18th floor so it was very quiet for downtown. Would love to stay here again. I wish we had a refrigerator in our room to accommodate any leftovers we had from eating out but overall great experience.

The hotel is beautifully designed and is in a very convenient location. Exceptional dining services as well, including room service. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect except the Valet. It was $65 per night and the last night my truck was left on the street under a tree and was covered in sap when they brought it to me to leave. I will definitely be back but will definitely ask where exactly my vehicle will be stored.
