It was super clean and well kept. There was no pool or real amenities, but we were out in the city most of the time so that was fine. Parking was plentiful and easy to navigate. The only negative was no closet or place to put your clothes, just one small 4 hanger rack off the wall. Very convenient location to downtown

You should not have any hesitations about booking this hotel. On the way to the hotel I set the expectation for my husband that it was outside the city center, there was no front desk, but it was at a great price. He was very concerned, but he fell in love with the place after 5 minutes. He loved the self-checkin and not waiting at the front desk. He said the room was very cool, the hotel was well maintained, and the bedroom and bathroom were quite large. Plus, the bed was extremely confortable for the night. The hotel is located in East Nashville, which has a great vibe and great restaurants that are on the hotel's guide. It was a $15 / 15 minute Uber ride to Broadway to check out the bars. You will enjoy your stay here!

I loved everything about The Gallatin. I honestly don't know where to begin. They were very efficient about communication throughout my stay. They had a convenient parking lot right behind their property. The whole hotel has a cute, chic look to it with a complimentary coffee/tea bar, photo booth area and even a fun room with makeup mirrors for taking pictures. They provided little snacks, waters and a complimentary bottle of champagne. The room was very clean. They even had makeup remover wipes and wash clothes for cleaning makeup off your face. A steamer was provided (although I didn't use it). The hair dryer provided was a Dyson. Even the vending machine had excellent snack and beverage options. The bed was extremely comfy. I also enjoyed being just outside of downtown Nashville. The area had plenty of options for anything you could want and it was only 15 minutes from the Opry. I would 110% stay here again if I'm ever in Nashville.

The tiny freezer in the refrigerator was not cold enough for anything frozen. The community microwave we used a couple times when we were on our way out. The locks were confusing that they flash red and we didn’t always hear it unlock… knowing it does that in advance would be helpful. Loved supporting a good cause! Added bonus if you’re a coffee drinker.

Such a cool hotel. Self serve. It was locked up nice though. Never felt unsafe.

The Gallatin is a cool, funky hotel in an up and coming neighborhood. Strong art vibe. Incredible restaurants and vintage thrift nearby as well as grocery stores and CvS/Wallgreens. Easy to get in and out with keypad access. Communication via email and text was timely and helpful. Perfectly situated just a few miles from Downtown Nashville and just far enough away to be out of the fray.

We had a lovely stay, thanks.

This place is a very different hotel in that there is no staff on site but that never proved a problem for us. It was very easy to get into the lobby and the room and both were very pleasant. The lack of a staff allows for less expense for the hotel so that more money can go to using profits for housing for the homeless, the actual mission of the facility (which I believe is run by a local church.) The bed was quite comfortable although it would have been nice to have had bedside tables on both sides of the bed. The vanity area was quite spacious and the mini fridge and microwave came in quite handy. The hotel is located in an area of Nashville with lots of food and beverage establishments so finding a good place to eat was easy. Would recommend this place to folks looking for a nice no frills sort of place where you feel good about being able to help the less fortunate.

This was a lovely experience and I cannot wait for the next time I’m in town, will be planning to stay here again!

Fully enjoyed staying at the Gallatin! I ended up arriving really early and they were great and let me check in well before 4pm. I was fully planning to just chill in the cute lobby and do some work but was so thrilled to get in early. The room was so clean and homey. So many details were thought of. A place to feel safe and clean!? A++

Parking was free, convenient and safe. Our room was one of the cleanest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in.

Room had lots of character - was clean and comfortable. The bathtub was awesome - plenty of hot water!
-
The best place I’ve ever stayed in my 65 years!!! So bright and fun! Will definitely stay again!

Excellent stay! My only mention (and it really wasn’t a problem) is that both nights we were there, there were what looked to be school dances at the hall next door (we were there on a Friday and Saturday night, so this wasn’t a surprise). There was valet parking blocking the main entrance, but it was easy enough just to go around and enter from the back. You could hear the noise in the hallway but our rooms were quiet and I slept great. It was overall a fantastic stay.

Nice clean room and on top of that the staff wrote a little note and gave a welcome basket. They were super helpful the whole time and went above and beyond expectations. We will be coming here next time we’re in town!

It looked like a dorm room however it was very clean. I liked having 2 bathrooms. The beds were comfortable. There were places we could walk to for coffee, breakfast and entertainment. The wedding was at Emerson hall so perfect!

Check in was easy! Place was cute, bright, and quiet. 5 stars all around
