Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the cleanliness, spaciousness, and comfort of the rooms, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast options are often praised, but some guests find the variety lacking after a few days. The location is considered convenient, with many amenities within walking distance, although some guests find it a bit far from Broadway. The most common complaint is about the additional parking fee.
- Clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms
- Friendly and helpful staff
- Additional parking fee
- Limited breakfast variety after a few days

We really enjoyed our stay. It was close to everything we did . Definitely wouldn’t mind staying here again
- 5/5
Amazing staff, solid breakfast, and a very clean room!
- 5/5
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. From the front desk to the room attendants. We would definitely choose again

Mattress in sofa bed was not comfy. Kids had a tough time sleeping on it. It looked as if they were sleeping on spring directly as mattress was not good. I felt bad for kids in the morning. Other than that, everything else was fine.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable. Pool was great and there were several restuarnts within walking distance. We look forward to another stay.
- 3/5
Worst room ever! Sagging bed, old beat up furniture, stained couch, lousy housekeeping. Bar was closed due to staff member's wife having baby but no cover? Breakfast was the EXACT same for all 7 mornings! Ugh! Cold scrambled eggs, limited hot water, filthy waffles machine that was broke for 4 of the 7 mornings. So disappointed for a Residence Inn we like to frequent yearly (4 Deluxe rooms for 7 nights). Will have to rethink options in the future.

I would never stay at this hotel again with the many fine choices there are in Nashville. If you stay here, get used to the word Sorry.
- 5/5
Room was exceptionally big and clean! With a fully functional kitchen. Breakfast was good with a large choice on offer and was also tasty. The only negative was the WiFi quality. It was extremely poor and kept cutting out.
- 5/5
Clean room, staff very friendly, delicious breakfast, spacious parking lot
- 5/5
They ran out of Breakfast items and not refreshed in a timely manner.
- 2/5
I like how clean the property was I got overcharged and I paid through Booking and then they charged my credit card again for $340 which was $140 over what I initially charged to Booking. Dean is at the front. The first day was very, very rude and basically blamed it on Booking for the mess up. And I still have not gotten my money back. The next day I dealt with two other ladies which are wonderful and they actually told me more on the situation and said that this has happened before. Just be careful if you pay through Booking and then they put your credit card on file because they will charge you.

Clean room great staff breakfast was good will definitely repeat

Everything was absolutely amazing. Definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed at! The parking garage is small, especially if you drive a bigger vehicle.

Á environ 30 minutes à pied du centre ville. La chambre était très grande avec toutes les commodités et bien équipée. Très bel endroit!
- 4/5
The food and breakfast area was decent, rooms were clean, beds comfy. Only downfall is location. Quit a walk to amenities. More then what we expected.

We really enjoyed our five nights stay here. We had a wonderful greeting by Kenzie. She pointed out the amenities and we had a two bedroom two bath suite for a very reasonable price. We enjoyed the comfort of our room and had two thermostats in the room so we kept those comfortable for each person staying housekeeping came every other day. The breakfast was outstanding lots and lots of choices if I had to pick one negative thing was there is an overwhelming air freshener in the lobby and breakfast room that people who are sensitive to perfumes or asthmatics do not like. There were several restaurants in walking distance, but we mostly just took Uber everywhere and it was convenient and easy from that hotel.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly, breakfast was good, parking was easy but we didn't realize it was not included in the price. There was major construction right across the street that started every morning at 6:30 AM. The drawers in the dresser in the bedroom would not stay closed, they need to put a shim under it. Very convenient location, would stay again if the construction is finished.
- 4/5
Very nice hotel with the indoor pool and great breakfast
- 3/5
MASSIVE construction project across the street. We woke up to a crane extended outside of our fifth floor window and an industrial jackhammer digging out a pool at 7am. The property didn’t have a warning that this construction project was going on or that 120+ decibel construction noise would be going on at 7a every morning. They put us in another room on the other side of the hotel, but we could still hear the construction noise every morning. This woke everyone in our room up every morning. The staff were kind and helpful, but the property and Expedia should have indicated this massive inconvenience, as we would have stayed somewhere else had we known this was going on 20ft from the property.

It's a great place to stay and close to the exciting things that Nashville Tennessee had to offer. Recommended for anyone who wants to go to Tennessee and be close to music row!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Our room was on the street side across from a construction site that had rock hammers going by 7am. Moving us to the other side of the hall would of been easy and solved the problem.

Excellent place to stay

Nice room and staff
- 3.5/5
Breakfast was very good. Room needed a little touch up but nothing serious.
- 3/5
Clean well keep in the rooms and friendly staff When you walk through the doors you get slapped in the face with fragrance it was so strong it about took my breath away.
- 5/5
I liked the complimentary breakfast that was in the lobby I wish the pull out couch was just a tad bit more comfortable because it’s so thin I can feel the springs on my back
- 5/5
there was a certain front desk staff, didn’t get her name all I know is she likes a brown sugar oatmeal espresso, but she made me feel so welcomed. if she reads this she will know it’s about her ! I wish I would have gotten her socials to show her pictures of the concert I went to while i was there and to keep in touch ??

Clean room

Near downtown. Tough to navigate. Parking extra so room rate is actually higher. Did not try the breakfast.

The hotel is costly but the interior is shabby. There was holes on the chair. The room interior looked overused and shabby. On top of the high price they handed me an additional bill for overnight parking of 35 dollar, which they never mentioned before.
- 5/5
The staff was so nice and they made everything easy. The room was clean and we had plenty of extras. The front desk staff had awesome recommendations for stuff to do around town.

Mike at the front desk is a great asset for the company. A true professional.
- 3.5/5
The area the hotel is located also the hotel room look like needs renovation
- 5/5
Did not love the parking garage but it was better than offsite options.
- 5/5
The kitchen in the room was nice but was never used. The refrigerator/freezer came in handy but the ice maker was not working. The layout of the room and the space was awesome. The housekeeping staff were EXCEPTIONAL. Only issue is that to Uber around town was quite expensive and I would recommend staying within walking distance to your desired area.
- 5/5
Room was clean and quiet.
- 4/5
1) tall chairs in the room were in need of recovering or replacement, terribly worn; 2) the bar was not open Saturday evening, we wanted to watch a 6:30 football game; 3) was up early letting my wife sleep in, went to lobby at 6:00 AM and asked for the lobby tv to be turned on and the answer was “that cannot be done until 7:00”…
- 2/5
Good location The bed was not comfortable and the toilet was too low to the ground.
- 4/5
Location.
- 3.5/5
The sofa bed mattress could be better, it would've been nice to have pillows for use in the sofa bed already in the room, the lighting could be better throughout the room and bathroom, and bathroom storage could be better.
- 5/5
Not close to any entertainment venues
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful. Room was very spacious.

Breakfast
- 4/5
Charlotte she was very helpful and went out of her way for us.. I hope she understands how much she helped us. You never know what people are going thru . The breakfast was amazing also The lady that checked us in when we arrived . She embarrassed me in front of a few people who wer behind me for whatever reason. If I could have cancelled without penalty I would walked out. She was a medium set brown lady with long braids in her hair. I told the lady the next morning about my experience and I was told she was probley tired. I feel if someone represents the company they should not treat people who are paying to stay at a hotel like crap cause that’s how I feel I was treated. I won’t stay there again. Just wanted to let someone know.
- 4.5/5
Location, cleanliness, and breakfast Need more detailed information & instructions regarding how customers can access the parking upon arrival, prior to check-ins.

My problem is with the billing !!! I booked through Expedia and paid with my card 176.46 Total. Then when I arrived to check in they wanted my card again and I have been charged 50.00 by Residence Inn then another 160.00 and then another 97.41 all by Residence Inn for a total of over 480.00 and I am extremely frustrated
- 4.5/5
Clean quiet Property further from Downtown than expected.
- 5/5
Clean hotel room and extremely friendly staff! We had an enjoyable stay in Nashville
- 5/5
The breakfast buffet was great!
- 5/5
I’d stay here again for sure.

Property was walkable to broadway. Staff was outstanding… very helpful and friendly. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Loved it here. We will be back.
- 5/5
Great place to stay especially for extended periods of time.
- 5/5
Great place would stay again!
- 5/5
Very close to downtown Nashville Very clean
- 5/5
I will be staying at residence inn by Marriott next I’m in town. At time of reservation I didn’t realize it’s a studio with fully equipped kitchen. This means if I had leftover food I could’ve saved it for late night snack lol. It’s easy to have leftover because there are too many more varieties you’d like than you could handle. The room is huge for me as I’m staying for one night without much stuff to lay out. There are additional racks in the bathroom if you want your own skin care products. I am a bar soap junkie so I didn’t use their stuff. Did like the shower head which delivered pretty strong stream for my exhausted body. Liked their complementary breakfast too. Definitely more selections than many I had before. A lot of toppings for cereal and oatmeal. A lot of spreads for toasts and bagels. Distance wise it’s 30,40 min walk from downtown. I simply walked. There are shabu, Chinese bbq, and another Asian style restaurant almost on the same block. All in all I liked it a lot .
- 5/5
Great staff and clean!! Breakfast was excellent!!
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Staff were very cordial. Breakfast was delicious, good selection available. Room was very comfortable. But night reading light did not work.

Staff were very friendly and helpful hotel is very clean and rooms were exceptional and very spacious.
- 5/5
It was also very clean and spacious - would definitely stay again if back in Nashville.
- 5/5
Very comfortable. Would return
- 5/5
There is nothing bad I can say about this place
- 5/5
Very nice room. Couch could have been more comfortable, would have been nice to have a comfortable chair. Would be nice to be able to stream to tv without an hdmi cable. VERY-NICE OVERALL. Good place to settle in for a week. Staff was fantastic.
- 4/5
Staff were great! Close to downtown. Restaurants near by.
- 5/5
Great!
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was good..room was nice and large. View of another hotel
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is about 1 mile from downtown. It’s convenient enough to walk downtown but far enough away from the downtown noise, crowds and traffic. The hotel was clean and offers a nice complementary breakfast in the morning. Our room was large with a full kitchen and a good price. Free parking in their parking garage with elevators. Easy access to restaurants within walking distance or if you want to drive away from downtown. We would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Loved the large rooms and kitchenette
- 5/5
We have no complaints; everyone one was very friendly and helpful. Great location with a lot to see in Nashville
- 5/5
Very nice and clean.
- 3/5
Just problems with internet for tv
- 5/5
Very clean and well kept place, everyone was very helpful. It is locaded near the downtown activities so commute was easy. Ill be back
- 4/5
We really enjoyed how close to downtown it was if we wanted to be downtown. It was so quiet, couldn’t hear anyone walking or stomping or talking, the rooms were amazingly quiet! The staff was amazing, as well as the breakfast!
- 2/5
Pull out bed was un usable
- 5/5
Everyone was so friendly, clean & convenient
- 5/5
It was very clean, only a mile away from most tourist areas. We walked to everywhere we went in the day and Ubered back at night (too tired to walk by then). I cannot say enough about the incredibly friendly staff! The rooms were roomy and offered full kitchens. We would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
The hotel was nice and private but the extras you buy in lobby is a ridiculous price. $5 for a bottle of water or soda.
- 4/5
Room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast provided in the mornings were great and convenient! Overall great stay.
- 5/5
Good for quick stat
- 4/5
The overall experience was great. Few things to note: there’s a parking charge of $35 per day, however you can park a block away with spot hero for cheaper. Sofa bed definitely needs a replacement in our room. You could feel the springs on it. Few more towels for the room would have been great, but can request at front desk. The pool is on the other side of the neighboring hotel, so a bit of a walk. It’s all attached so you don’t have to walk outside. The breakfast is really great. Plenty of great options. Overall, we would stay again.
- 5/5
Clean and very pleasant staff.
- 5/5
The staff were all super friendly! The room was spacious and clean.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were also very friendly.
- 4/5
Our room was looking a little worse for wear. But, the bed was really comfortable. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Double rooms were perfect for traveling with three teenagers. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was always a hit, and it was a quick walk out drive too any place we needed.
- 5/5
We love the hotel. The staff is amazing and the rooms are very nice. There really isn’t anything close so you need to take an uber or Lyft to get around.
- 5/5
nice property. would stay again
- 5/5

- 5/5
The staff were all amazing! So helpful and nice. The breakfast was lovely, well stocked, lots of options and very clean. The pull out bed was in rough shape in our room though so two of us shared a bed instead. Other than that no complaints
- 5/5
Property was kept cleaned and it always smelled so good in the lobby. Rooms were maintened very good. Breakfast was pretty good too.
- 5/5
Lots of construction.
- 3/5
Says its downtown Nashville but felt misleading since it was a super long walk to the bars on broadway and Ubers didn’t feel safe.
- 5/5
The staff was great. Gave us great tips on how to make the most out of our time in Nashville.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel within walking distance to downtown, music row & many great attractions. Highly recommend!
- 3/5
The property was nice but i most say they really need to advise guest that they don’t have free parking & the parking garbage is $35 plus tax a day …i ended up prepaying $240 just to park my rental . The staff , housekeeping, area, and breakfast was the good part
- 4/5
Staff were great, close enough to downtown but not in the heat of things. Good central location for other parts of the city. Good amenities & breakfast
- 4/5
Comfortable hotel with good complimentary breakfast.
- 3/5
Couch in main area was old and not comfortable to sit on. No cushions other than the seat cushions. We asked for pillows and a hair dryer as the hair dryer in the room didn't work and the pillows on the bed were standard size. Again, not a King Sized bed. It took 3 phonecalls and finally a trip to the front desk to get the items. Front desk staff were excellent all around. Furnishings in the room were worn and tired. Lots of dust on air vents and ceiling corners. Overall, not a bad experience but 3 stars, tops. Also, 3 seperate taxes applied to the room rate! Area was convenient and good for us. Asked for a room on a lower floor and were given the second highest floor. Amenities such as pool were in an adjoining hotel so we did not use them. We'll look elsewhere next time.
- 4/5
The staff was great and the hotel was clean and nice. the breakfast was also excellent.
- 5/5
We cannot praise the staff highly enough, fantastic service from the first minute, it's got to be the best service we have ever experienced 😀 😃😃
- 4/5
1st trip Nash! nights. Hotel is in a perfect location. Rooms are big, bigger than normal. Full kitchen use with Fridge dishwasher and stocked with dishes. Very nice! Plenty of walking distance to ALOT of spots to eat, drink and enjoy live music or just standard music. 10mins from Broadway 17mins to Grand ole opry drive. Three nice sit down restaurants within a half block. In lobby snack shop including a small offering of alcoholic beverages. Breakfast was the biggest spread I have experienced yet being a Bonvoy member. It was very pleasant. We never made it to the indoor pool or gym (lol) who does on a NASH trip anyway!? The lobby was a nice with comfortable seating tv and office availability to use if needed. The ONLY downside to my trip at this hotel was we arrived literally just before midnight & they checked us into a floor level that the HVAC system wasn't working. We weren't told until we addressed it on our 2nd night. We ultimately had to get all our stuff and move to another floor to resolve the issue. That was a little drag but it worked out in the end. Last morning of check out, I called to see about a late check out and they allowed an extra hour. I definitely would stay here anytime I return back to NASH!
- 5/5
Loved the bed and pillows A good 25min walking to the fun zone.but you get to walk past The White Castle for that late night beef slider. They are great Parking available at a cost of $35 per night
- 5/5
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Loved the cleanliness of the hotel, staff were great and room was super comfortable
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Good middle point between Vanderbilt University and the bars on Broadway. A little over a mile walk to those bars, $10 Uber ride back. Our room was perfect for our needs. Our window faced the east so we had to deal with the morning sun rise. Although they provide room darkening curtains, the sun still casted light at the top. Breakfast was good. Only two egg choices every day, scrambled and an egg white omelet that was shaped like a taco. Meat options changed daily. Sausage, turkey sausage, chicken sausage, andouille, and bacon were rotated. Must say, the blonde hair lady who continuously restocked & cleaned the food area was phenomenal!!! She was warm, friendly, and helpful to everyone she encountered. They are lucky to have such a dedicated employee.
- 1/5
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The toilet leaked continuously on the floor. I was also charged a 110.00 fee no one mentioned, which I will be calling . My wife is in the hospital and having to pay right at 300.00 a night for a run down sucky room just doesn't sit right.
- 4/5
If you're looking for a place to stay residence in West End Vanderbilt is terrific, the staff is great and they serve a hot breakfast every morning. I found the parking fee (daily) a bit high and it's not that close to walking distance to some attractions, you will NEED a car to get a around but the hotel, worth staying in.
- 5/5
The breakfast was awesome
- 5/5
Great spot. About 25 minute walk to music row. Very quiet area and safe to walk at night. Clean rooms. Free breakfast in the morning was great. They even had gluten free muffins and bagels!
- 2/5
Seedy, shabby lobby. Check-in not good. Worst mattress ever slept on. Will never recommend this property.
- 2/5
By far, we had the worst mattress we have ever slept on; I will describe it as lump hard soft with crater in the middle. Enough said? I would never recommend this property.
- 5/5
Super economical and conveniently located option. Stayed for a week for a bachelorette party and the kitchenette was a MUST! The breakfast was simple but good and the staff were always friendly. The location is perfect, across from The Cookout and a block from Hattie B’s and a group of amazing bars and restaurants. Loved the through access in/out of Springhill Suites. The area felt very safe too.
- 4/5
Overall stay was nice & enjoyable other than smoke alarms going off for no reason one night at 1:15 a.m.
- 5/5
Polite staff and clean rooms
- 5/5
5 star experience from check in to check out
- 2/5
No tv for 2 nights
- 4/5
Very nice hotel, relatively inexpensive compared to the rest of downtown Nashville. Short ride to major downtown activities and quiet area at night. If you want to be right in the middle of downtown this is not the hotel, but if you want nice, affordable with a few walking options this hotel was perfect
- 5/5
Very spacious suite. Very clean room and bathroom. Living room was an excellent place. Will stay at the hotel again
- 4/5
Rooms were not ready at checkin time. Waited almost 2hrs for the rooms.
- 5/5
Great place to stay with a family. Kitchen is great to have.
- 4/5
As promised , parking was additional 40 dollars and very tight garage. I’m glad I didn’t drive my full size truck .
- 5/5
Clean, lovely friendly staff, perfect area
- 4/5
Breakfast was a bit hit and miss all good but coffee station needs a rethink as a few times it was barely warm.
- 4/5
Room was very clean and spacious. Good breakfast. The beds made my back ache when I woke up though. Beware of the parking fee.
- 5/5
We loved the breakfast options and the employees were fabulous!
- 4/5
Good accommodation given the price. Walkable to city centre. My only criticism is the breakfast. Good for 2 days but after that no variety. Don't offer fresh bread. Omelettes ans scrample eggs tasteless. As for the usa version of sausage....
- 5/5
Clean facility with friendly staff
- 4/5
There are some great restaurants close by and it's a 8 minute walk to Music Row. Staff is super helpful and friendly. It's convenient having a kitchen in the room. We instacarted some groceries...
- 5/5
Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly front desk staff. Central location.
- 5/5
Within walking distance to Broadway and areas
- 5/5
Very friendly genuine reception staff, except for a gentleman at reception a bit later around 11pm or midnight who does not make any eye contact with you as you walk in and does NOT GREET. I had to initiate it and when I asked "How are you?"..the guy just replies "Good" withput saying thank you or asking me back how I was. I thought he was having a bad day or evening but the next day it was the same thing again. So on the thurd day I just greeted him and did not ask him how he was. Nice breakfast. The lady responsible for breakfast is extremely polite and always has a smile. My only issue is on Day 1, I noticed there were stains on the bedsheet. Now that might have also been a pre-existing stain but they still should be looking out for this before using it and discard stained ones. In any case I reported it just before having breakfast to front desk the next day and a well-suited front desk super polite gentleman apologized and attended to it immediately. When I went upstairs after breakfast the sgeets had already been changed. There ard also stai x on their couch in the living room but I did not report that. Anyway some things are excusable and some are not. I like to be reasonable and not too demanding. I just want good basic hygiene. Period. Good location. A bit of a long walk (25mins) to downtown/Broadway but a nice walk nevertheless. I would recommend but just keep an eye on bedsheets.
- 5/5
Property was clean, quiet and close to downtown, would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Quiet, clean, friendly staff. Dated in room decor.
- 4/5
The two hotels are joined by a parking ramp but not easily accessible from where you can park. We opted to risk being pn the street right outside the front door and used the side entrance for our dog. Room was decent, larger than expected with full fridge and kitchenette.
- 5/5
We were hoping to use the BCycle service to get around but it turns out they don't have helmets, so opted against. The breakfast in the hotel was excellent - eggs, sausages, potatoes, cereal waffles, baked, goods and they typical continental stuff. Staff were great, room was good, no complaints! A nice hotel with a great value to be close enough to the action.
- 5/5
Disappointed there was no shuttle service but Uber was convenient. Overall great location. Would book again and recommend for future stay.
- 4/5
The property is older. The rooms show that. The staff at front desk were helpful.
- 5/5
Great breakfast
- 5/5
Everyone was so friendly! Can not complain at all! Will stay here again when in Nashville next. Thanks everyone!
- 5/5
farther from broadway than we originally thought but still close enough to walk if you wanted. the hotel is clean and the staff was super friendly. my only complaint were the pillows in the room were awful. we had 4 pillows and they felt like they were no thicker than a sheet of paper. other than that the rooms were clean and in good condition. i would stay here again.
- 5/5
It was very nice and comfortable. It was walkable to downtown since we didnt have a car. The staff were super nice and friendly but couldnt give much direction for requested places. The kitchen was good but could use a few more items, like a spatula, and a 2nd pot and pan. Would stay again and would recommend it.
