    Very difficult to find something to like. The beds were ok. House keeping never did the beds, none of the lights worked, had to screw the bulbs in by hand, phone wasn’t even plugged in, boogers and other body fluids were on the walls, homeless and streetwalkers all on the sidewalk in front of hotel, front staff said they don’t give out extra blankets for any reason, getting new towels is like pulling teeth, online it says they have breakfast but that’s a lie they only have coffee and said they don’t have any intention of changing the online listing, hallways smelled of stale, warm water like there was a leak that they never fixed. There’s more to list but typing it out makes me angry. Vell vell vell.

    nothing. red roof in was so disgusting and trashy i have so many photos to prove it. the beds were molded, the parking lot was gross, there was random mattresses laid out in the parking lot. our room had bugs, mold on the bed, no air, no towels to shower, no toiletries not even hand soap. for $130 something this was ridiculous and unsanitary we literally only stayed for an hour. there was dog poop in our room, blood on the bed, the sheets were stained the floor hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. so disgusting. shower was molded.

    Very dirty. I had a king bed room and instead of the bed being in the middle of the room, it was on one side and there was nothing where another bed would be. There wasn’t anywhere to put my suitcase except on the dirty floor. Stains on the wall. It was gross.

    Property is convenient right off the highway. North enough to not get caught in traffic when coming from the north. Plenty of Door Dash options. Nicest Red Roof I’ve been in, and I stay frequently because of the pets.

    Our room was damaged as well. There was a hole in the side of the bathtub, our bathroom door was peeling and falling apart, there were holes in the walls in the room. It was not a good experience overall.. im ashamed that we had to stay there and pay for it at all. But last minute changes would have cost us so much more money.

    I will say the staff at the front desk was friendly enough and I genuinely felt bad for them. They were polite and clearly doing their best in a place that has been neglected beyond repair. But friendliness can’t compensate for a hotel that feels like it’s been abandoned by management, maintenance, and basic hygiene and safety standards. The rooms had weird rubber carpet runners stapled to the walls that were half falling off or completely detached. I’m convinced that’s where the cockroaches live (based on other reviews we read). The room itself was a disaster: curly black hairs in the sheets, holes in the bedding, stains everywhere, dusty surfaces, cobwebs in the corners, missing bathroom tiles, and an outlet that looked like a fire hazard. Within minutes, our throats felt scratchy and we suspect it was mold. We stayed for all of two minutes before booking another hotel for our own safety and hygiene. When we called to let the staff know we left, it felt like they were used to guests checking in, taking one look around, and immediately checking out. They approved a full refund right away. I want to emphasize this again: this hotel is not safe. Not safe to sleep in. Not safe to breathe in. Not safe to walk through. Not safe to touch anything. Just no.

    Room less then desirable,,, dirty under table, beds, bathroom. Had to plunge the myself the bathrub and sink,,as not draining, clogged, and sink would not clear up. Told staff,,, need professional or drano,,nothing said or done to eleivate. Workout room was not as described ,,,only two 10lb dumbells , broken machines Not happy with that, as one of the reasons this hotel was chosen. Parking was plentiful,,, but worrysome with crackheads surrpunding property. Room 404, needed better lighting, bathroom main light out, no coat hooks anywhere microwave broken. Greating, and after hour's staff were very pleasant and enjoyed comversations.

    Room smelled like smoke, looks like it has never been cleaned, stuff all over the doors, fridge and walls, holes everywhere, furniture was all nasty like it came from a dumpster. Sleep in your car it would be better. Shower tub was not cleaned and the door barley shut.

    Rooms are extremely dirty and outdated. Pillows had severe yellow staining, bathroom door wouldn’t close, AC and TV were inoperable. Mystery stains on shower curtains. Although the staff was very friendly and the exterior of the property looks well maintained, the rooms are extremely dirty and in need of some TLC. It hurts me to leave a bad review, but I would not recommend staying here.

    No breakfast. Just plain coffee. Entire building has smell of mildew. Plenty of vagrants around property. Door frame in room had blood stains on it. Bathroom had dried vomit and blood all around toilet. Ice maker only on first floor, it’s a five floor property. Pool is permanently out of service. No business center. No meeting space. Tv stand/dresser falling apart. Safe did not work. Ac was subpar. Handheld thermometer stated room never got below 74 degrees. Girl at front desk was less than helpful. Would not recommend if you’re staying with children.

    AC worked great. Small superficial things needed work but the room was overall in great condition! Everything needed to do what it needed to do. I was out and about most all day everyday so the most important things to me were a bed and place to shower. Staff was friendly and common areas inside were well kept. The areas around the neighborhood was iffy but I kept to myself and was completely fine. I’d consider staying here again.

    Not a great experience there unfortunately , room needed upgrading. Duct tape on electrical outlets, bathroom crumbing apart , no coffee machine in room , thin walls where you can hear room next door and lastly coming back to the hotel in the evening the police were there checking on a woman punched in the face. All this with my wife and two children. I would not recommend. Pay more for a hotel closer to downtown.

    The room was disgusting. The bathtub had hair and dirt and grim all in the tub. The bed was not clean their was pubic hair all over the bed sheets and they had just threw the cover up over it. The hotel smelled of urine as soon as you walked in. They did not want to refund us at first after we showed them in the room proof of what we was complaining about. Finally they agreed to reimburse us fully we did not stay there for even a half hour it was more like15 minutes. Do not recommend the Red Roof very disappointed and grossed out completely with the conditions.

    Well the people were very rude at the front desk, i got shocked by a eletric outlet when my hand rubbed against it as i was turing on the bathroom light. We told don't desk and the Acted like we were lieing so then they gave us a different room that had dirty trash cans and the it smelled like weed . We brought it to there attention and they said th just clean it which was a lie.We tried to get them to come up.And at least smell the room and see what the condition was.And they wanted to try to tell us, oh well, we can just leave then the red roof in was one of my worst experiences in my life with a motel room.My hand is still hurting from being shot by this outlet

    The room was spacious and very clean. The furniture was comfortable and we had easy access to the exit door. The only problem we encountered was that the shower did not get warm enough for comfort. I had goosebumps the whole time I was showering since the water was only lukewarm. My husband had showered an hour earlier and had the same problem. Otherwise we had a very pleasant and restful stay and would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Nashville.

    1st room no heat temperature was 43. We stayed first night and bundled up. No hot water for showers. They moved us to another for second night. Not much better thermostat set at max of 63. Hot wat but bathroom sink would not drain. Turned on hair dryer for heat to shower. Worst stay in 50 years of traveling

    I'm a Red roof member and I've stayed at this hotel serval other time. The room I received was outdated that it didn't have plug in no where near the bed. The lamps were rusted which I cloud had sworn the had lamps you could plug into near the bed. Microwave chipped off corner, Frigidaire was nasty. I didn't need to use these appliances so need to complain.This was the second room they move me because room#1 has water leaking all over the bathroom floor. The front desk worker was great about getting me moved immediately I hated to complain about the second room because I knew I was only sleeping there and I wasn't going to be using the appliances in the room. The beds was clean and comfy was my concern.

    Easy access, plenty of parking. Room was acceptably clean, beds were comfortable. You can tell they had done some painting and various maintenance, but like most budget hotels, the showers looked like the caulking needed fixed and the ceiling above the shower had been poorly patched/repaired. This is a common thing due to water damage in the shower area.

    When I came in the floors were wet wet like it had been wet mopped, so I turned the AC on to help dry it out, no big deal. Bed covers stained(both beds), lamps broken, bathroom had handprints on wall tile and looked like tabaco spit running down the wall. The hair dryer and cord were all orange greasy goo and prob not cleaned in a year or more. Looked like there used to be a towel bar but it was broke off and the light at vanity didn’t work. No way to vent bathroom. Shower head angle couldn’t be adjusted and was a set thunderstorm heavy (I didn’t mind that bc I was tall enough and needed a massage after dancing) but the water was still coming out the back of the shower curtain. Back to the bed, greedy hand prints on bed headboards, both. Window where AC unit, water intrusion present. Also no tv remote. I video documented everything said here and showed front desk bc I didn’t want to be charged for things that I walked into.

    Parking area was very well lit. But there were cockroaches in our room. So many that i woke the next morning to one in my hair. Staff changed our room, but never heard any kind of apology or offered any kind of compensation or refund. The building/rooms are in awful shape. Furniture damaged. Fridge didnt work. Had a roach in it the next morning. Doors were torn up. Pillows were yellowed. There were hairs in the bed upon pulling down the covers, and what looked like bodily fluid stains on the desk chair. The new room we were moved to did appear to not be roach infested, but the hair dryer caught nearly caught fire and had to go down and get another. And i woke the second morning to a bug bite on my arm. I will forever avoid Red Roof Inn.

    Walking to Macdonald not safe I lot of drugs dealing at this area and must be resolved so they don’t loose more customers. The bathroom with different kind of paint at the wall.     Unsafe, dirty, falling apart (there was a shoddy patch job in the shower ceiling), the beside lamp had to be replaced straight away because there was no way to turn it on and it was filthy. The tv was small. No hairdryer or coffe maker in room. Pool was gross. Area around hotel was unsafe. The chair in the room looked like it came from a nasty flea market from 1970. Do not stay here.

    The floors were very dirty, stains on the wall, hardly any lighting, no outlets except in the bathroom that were accessible. The bed had weird stains on the comforter and one of them had what looked to be a burn hole. The room had a smell of animal pee and overall, it just was not clean at all.

    The price for the room was too high considering the overall conditions. The breakfast was especially disappointing it's advertised from 6 to 9 AM, but when I arrived at 7 AM, most of the food was already gone. All that was left was coffee and some dry bread.

    Hotel smelled of weed, the surroundings were rough. Rooms were not cleaned. My daughter left a bag of personal belongings and they claim they don’t have it. $150 worth of items and of course they can’t find it. Go figure. Dogs were all in the hotel which triggered my allergies. Don’t stay here

    Unfortunately, our room had several issues: a broken bed, a missing mirror, scratched flooring, stained bedding that looked unwashed, a broken safe, a toilet that wouldn’t stop running, and a broken door latch. I didn’t report these to the staff during our stay because we were out and about more than we were in the room to really care, so I can’t comment on how they would’ve handled the issues—but these are the kinds of problems that really should be caught and fixed before a guest checks in. We could've just gotten unlucky and had the worst room available compared to the rest, but with better attention to room maintenance, this could easily be a much better place to stay!

    Overall the hotel is dated. AC worked but floor was sweating and uncomfortable to walk on. The bed has spots all around the sides. So we slept on the bed and not under the covers. Shower had mold ans couldnt be moved from the wall where it was spraying. Will not recommend or return.

    This a terrible hotel very expensive for a dirty hotel. The tub I think that never had been cleaned.     Pictures are totally misleading. I booked this room because it was close to downtown and the price. Checked in went to my floor got off the elevator and immediately met with the smell of trashy marjiuana. Went to room only one light in the room it too smelled. Room looked like something out of a horror film. Went to from desk told of my experience the guy gave me a different room on another floor. That room smelled better but wasn’t much more than the first. Later pulled the sheets back to go to bed. Hair was all over the sheets where they weren’t washed. Went back to front desk ask for new sheets. I went back to the room cleaned everything I could changed the sheets. Woke up with a small rash on my arm. Next morning I checked out and asked to cancel my next 2 nights. And a refund on those nights. Called back spoke to the manager/owner who was great to work with he apologized and refunded the next two nights I had originally booked.

    The property needs to be torn down & renovated. It smells really stale & old. You can smell the heavy cigarette smoke in the halls. The staff wasn’t courteous at all. Bathroom had fine short hair in the sink as if someone had shaved & not cleaned. Towels had visible dirty spots. Toilet dirty & tub. Linen was dirty. Room was extremely dusty, i sneezed as soon as i opened the door. Tv only played on half the screen & there were lines going across the screen. Front desk was trash. I had my 2 toddlers with me & was pure disgusted. I would’ve rather slept in my truck. -100/10 stars

    Stayed for less than 48 hours and was disappointed in the amount we paid vs what we received. Broken window blinds, broken microwave, stained bedding, constant dripping bath tub, very loud heat, paper thin walls. Staff was decent. Parking lot was well lit and had no issues with safety of our vehicle. Location was close drive to zoo and downtown. Basically a place to sleep but way overpriced - especially once converted to CAD over US $. Feel ripped off.

    My room wasn't what I booked, the superior King..due to overbooking . The gentleman at the desk downgraded my room, advised me that I would get a discount. I wanted to point out also, that upon getting to my room, there were dirty towels left hanging in the bathroom, the sink wouldn't drain, no clean towels, the smoke detectors were covered with plastic, the room reeked with smoke. After calling the front desk I was told that there were no other rooms available.

    Hotel was dated. Our room smelled like someone stayed there for 5 days and didn’t bother showering the whole time he was there. We had to spray perfume everywhere to mask the smell. No fridge even though it was in the description. The only clean thing in the restroom was the toilet. The bathtub was dirty and in need of a deep bleach and scrub, I didn’t want to step on it barefoot. Didn’t eat breakfast since it didn’t look appetizing. Coffee was bland. Saw someone who looked very unruly and had a joint in his mouth when we were in the elevator. The only good thing about this is it is near (like 10-15min away) from downtown Nashville and the ac works. X

    We've stayed at several very nice Red Roof's in the last few years due to their pet friendly hotels but this one definitely wasn't. We were given a room on the top floor(5th) even after teling them again that we had a dog and we checked in early evening that day. This was very inconvenient to wait for the elevator and go down 5 floors every time to take dog out! There was no designated spot for pets to potty, no trash cans or poop bags outside and so it was all over the place outside and smelled. We also chose this hotel due to it having daily breakfast but we were told that they do not serve breakfast now, which would have been nice to know before booking. The room and bathroom were also very small, especially with a family of 4 and a dog, and hotel wasn't very clean at all. This was not what we've come to expect from Red Roof Inn and were sorely disappointed in this stay for our first trip to Nashville.

    Property was easy to find and the staff were friendly and available. The halls had an odd foul smell. Our room was very sparsely furnished and was not in the best condition. Paint stains on the floor, crumbling dry wall in the bathroom and the tv color was terrible. The bed was pretty comfortable and the space was adequate. If you’re looking for a very basic room and are not picky about esthetics, this will work. It met our needs for the night and was very accessible to the interstate and downtown Nashville.

    I don’t know how they are able to let out rooms in the condition they are in. Water damage on every wall in the bathroom. Drawers on the dresser had broken handles with very sharp edges. One of the drawers had damaged face hanging clear out of dresser. Shower curtain in tatters. Literally hanging on by threads.     I booked this room last minute, as a friend from high school whom I hasn't seen in years was coming through Nashville. The property itself is nestled right off Brick Church Pike behind a seedy America's Best Value Inn(never stay there..go check my review on that place). The property is clean, and is maintained. This place does have a pool, I don't think its mentioned in the description...its hours are 8am-7pm. The room itself was clean and free of debris. The pillows are a bit flat but, if you put a couple of them together it'll suffice. There is a shuttle service NOT associated with the hotel that will take you to and from downtown. He charges $20 to and $20 from but, be aware that he has operation hours that say from 12pm- 3am however, since it's operated by an individual those times change. Told him i would be done downtown by 1:30am and would meet him at the pickup point. He calls me at 12:30 to tell me he's going home for the night. So I had to get a Lyft to get back to the hotel. You'd be better off taking Lyft or Uber to and from the hotel. As previously stated, that shuttle service is NOT associated with the hotel. I will be returning to this hotel on my future stays as its not as expensive as other hotels that are the same diatance out.

    The hotel could definitely use some work. The paint was peeling off the wall and there was mold around the toilet base. There was no shower liner, so the floor got soaked when we showered. The appliances were not clean at all! On top of that, the people next door fought and slammed doors all night. I got no sleep at all. The guy at the front desk was nice. That was the best part of this hotel. I will definitely not be back.

    There was a disturbance around midnight in their parking lot, which we understand was out of Red Roof control, but unfortunately the ppl involved in the disturbance ended up in the room next to our - they were very LOUD and at one point we felt UNSAFE in our room-I finally called the front desk and the gentleman I spoke with, which the following day we learned he was the GM was very short with me when I asked to either move them or at least call and ask them to be quiet! It was like it was a very BIG inconvenience for him-the next morning we asked to be returned the night as we did not sleep at all..needless to say we got nothing!!.
