The hotel is located in a good area near food, shopping and entertainment. The lobby and entrance are nice. THE ROOM! The room was old with no updates. My toilet handle was broke and I kept having to lift the tank to reseat it. The tub was dingy and had a permanent ring around it. The room smelled of smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. My neighbors were up late into the night talking as if five people were in there and it came through the walls quite easily. The room overall was in sore need of updates. The breakfast was nothing to speak of and mostly carbs. I would not have booked here had I had a chance to view my room first. Seems like the owners do not spend any money on upkeep of the rooms themselves, just the entrance, common areas and outside.

If a hotel is going to charge people to stay the night in their hotels, they should all have generators not charge us for four or five days and give us one day of service due to lack of them purchasing a generator when electricity goes out.

That they were beside O'Charley's The pool was drained. The rooms are entirely too small, bed was supposed to be queen size and it was a full size bed, there was damage to the desk, and hair in the bath tub. Was not a good value for the price.

That said, the rooms now appear to have been renovated since that stay and are really nice and comfortable. Everything was very clean, and both the lobby and the grounds were clearly well maintained. While some other guests unfortunately left messes in the parking lot, that’s no reflection on the staff or management. Not everyone is respectful—that’s simply the nature of the business. The property itself is well cared for, and the people running it truly go above and beyond.

Room was basic & clean, shampoo mounted on the wall was hard to squeeze, light came into the room around the door and above the curtains, bed was firm & comfortable if queen size works for you, plenty of plugs for charging, window seat bench was nice (just looking out at a restaurant next door), breakfast was so-so (waffles were good, biscuits and gravy were not, hard boiled eggs had been frozen so were super hard and rubbery, all oatmeal was sugary), coffee was good

The guy at the front desk was rude from the beginning and when I get to the door of the room I was given as I put the card up for it to unlock I could feel heat coming out of the room and when I opened the door it was 80 something in the room and on high and I see a can in the middle of the floor and I look at it and it was a bomb for bed bugs I go back to the front desk and tell him what I found and told him I don't want bed bugs please put me in another room he said that all hotels do that so they don't get them but like I told him there was some in there that's why the heat was set that high. He finally after telling me again that they don't have them finally put me in another room which I looked over very well.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Shower had enough hot water. There was some breakfast, including a waffle maker and bagels/biscuits. Parking lot is a bit hard to find the first time as the motel shares an entrance with a shopping center and restaurant. Room was small. AC/heater wasn't completely plugged in and so didn't come on when we arrived which was hard to determine because the plug was under the unit.

The room wasn’t “dirty” but I have definitely stayed in cleaner rooms. The sheets had stains on them and the towels too, but I could tell they had been washed and the stains didn’t come out. The furniture was peeling up and just didn’t look very good. The lady at the counter was very nice, but it took a little while for her to greet me when I arrived. I do know the ice machine was broken but we did not need it. Also the breakfast was just pre packaged oatmeal and cereal which we were a bit disappointed about. The hotel is okay, I just think I could have stayed somewhere better for the price.

Staff was friendly and check in/ check out was easy, however there was a general cat pee like smell about the place and if someone decided to smoke it would fill your room with the smell and you aren’t able to get it out. Also the beds are about as stiff as a hard wood floor.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and did not have any issues until today. It started when I arrived I noticed the shower had a dirt stain in it. When I notified the person at the front desk he tried to say that it was the outline from the old mat when in reality, it was actually dirty. There also was old tissue stuck to the smoke detector and a small roach on the wall that I noticed while sleeping. Lastly, housekeeping knocked on my door from 10:55-11:00 rushing us to get out of the room. I will never stay again.

Very unclean and unkept, if I knew it’d be that disgusting I could’ve paid the same amount and slept in a pigs sty and seen no difference. If someone asked what I’d rather do again on my Saturday night I’d say use a snickers wrapper to fug my sister and would’ve felt the same or even comparable to level of cleanliness. Then I thought well since I barely slept and it is 6 am I’ll go check out the breakfast. I was astonished to see there was nothing to eat but wrappers and crumbs with orange juice that lacked any juice, just pulp. I’ve seen more juice dripping from my uncles ballsac than the machine for juice. Then they allowed my pet thank God, but even HE puked from the foul stench from piss on the towels. At first I thought it was apple juice but upon further investigation I sensed it was morning dehydrated piss. Never staying here again but the front desk lady was ok although the guy who replaced her hours later seemed to have permanent helmet syndrome but that’s ok I guess?

We stayed here a year ago and it needed a lot of work, holes in the walls, wires hanging from the ceiling, etc. It is rebranded as a Quality Inn (aka Avery Hotel) so I didn’t realize it was the same place when I booked. I paid cash and they ended up also taking money off of my wife’s card without it being known, the room was very small, and not worth what we paid for, also the room was dirty the door to the bathroom had a pretty big hole in it, it just was not worth it to me I will never go back!

The room was clean and great beds. The pillows were terrible though. The breakfast is minimal continental. The hotel is a little awkward to drive into as is the O'Charles next door. Otherwise a good value.

Our room was freshly painted and had a new tile floor. The bed was a little firm for us, but very comfortable. We liked that the window actually opened so we slept with it open to avoid a noisy A/C fan. It worked well. Breakfast was limited, but good. There was cereal, bananas, oatmeal, waffles, bagels and toast. They had milk, juices, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to drink so we had plenty. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was in a quiet area. The restaurant/bar across the street had really good food and around the corner was an Asian buffet that was delicious! It was a good deal for the price!

We like to stay here when we visit Nashville because it's locted near our family we visit. The room is compact and immaculate, the bed is comfortable. I was surprised that the hallway needed vacuuming badly, there was a big blue garbage can left in the hallway all weekend which was tacky. They are clearly getting ready to paint the hallway walls. If this was my first visit, the dirty carpet and shabby hallway would put me off. The lobby and breakfast area is very clean. Breakfast is adequate not abundant, that is fine with us. We will stay there again as it's reasonably priced and the staff is great.

Nasty floors throughout. Pictures are not true descriptions. Loud music shaking the walls. Overpriced. This is not what you’d expect. Avoid.

The hotel smelled really bad upon check in. The folks were in the back with there children taking care of them before us. So they were super slow. The elevator upstairs was smelly. Carpets dirty. Hard bed. Only 3 pillows. The tub faucet was confusing to cut on. I just want a refund. Horribly experience

Poor basic maintenance. Entire inside of building needs painting. Bathroom needed caulking, patching, and painting. Dirty -- grungy bathroom, dirty floors, dirty carpet, the mouldings and baseboards are dirty and need painting. Free beakfast was cereal/bread, and not a good value for the room rate.

Upon arrival the lobby smelt like urine and trash. The walls are falling apart and missing paint. Cigarettes and white powder on the hallway floors. The rooms are joined and you can hear the room next to you whisper. I felt unsafe and we left immediately. Expedia was a disappointment and did not offer a refund nor the hotel. I would not book with Expedia as this was a horrible experience and they weren’t willing to fix it. The hotel is NOT what is advertised and I wouldn’t stay here, unless you want cigarettes and drugs on the floor.

Property under construction. Dirty, drywall dust everywhere. Our shoes were covered in drywall dust walking to our room. Extension cords, garbage cans, drywall laying in the hallways, hotel hallways and elevator stank. Hair on towels and in shower and all over the floor in our room.

Overall sketchy vibe. Limited lighting outside. The walls were patched, carpet and sideboards were torn enough to expose concrete. Definitely check your bed out before you sit down

The property was filthy, the room was cramped, there was a horrible smell in the whole building, the bathroom was disgusting. The faucets were loose and it was difficult to figure out how to turn on the shower. We will not be staying here again. Also the elevator lights don’t turn on when you press the button so you have no way of knowing if the elevator is coming or going.

You can tell this hotel has seen brighter days, but it looks like it may have new owners who are making improvements. The staff I interacted with was very friendly and helpful, and my room was very clean and cozy. You can see the areas of the hotel that have already had improvements made, and they're lovely! It looks like this will continue to get better as the ownership continues to make updates.

It has been newly renovated and has clean and contemporary feel., Lobby and eating area is especially nice. Friendly staff. Breakfast room better than most similar level motels. They had fresh fruit, not just over the hill apples. The room we were in had a very noisy fan in the bathroom and the manager thanked me for letting him know so that it could be repaired. The staff seemed to take pride in keeping things well maintained.

Room was nice, but as soon as you step out of the room it's terrible. The pool look like a toxic pond. The breakfast was the bottom of the bottom. No gym. Not really anything healthy with protein in it. No hard cooked eggs. No bread or toaster. The stairs entrance was blocked with a old air conditioner it with razor sharp edges.
