    Computer chair in room was broken. Card reader to get in and out of parking lot was not cooperative / had difficulty everytime (at both gates). But everything else was good. Conveniently located next to Vanderbilt Stadium and lots of restaurants. Would stay there again .

    This was indeed a great place to stay while we were visiting Nashville. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Especially Ms.Tanesha at the check in desk. She was very professional and and polite. She truly made us feel welcome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. We will definitely be coming back again!

    Location was nice, price for the room was good. Check in took a long time for a Monday, only one associate was available with a very long line. Eventually a second associate showed, but by that time many were waiting. The room smelled like wet dog, which made the bed and pillows smell like a wet dog. The bathroom faucets were loose and need some maintenance as well as the bulkhead in the bathroom that is un-sanded joint compound. While I love the live music... It was too loud to sit comfortably in the restaurant.

    This is the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at and we loved everything about it! Clean rooms, good breakfast included, a shuttle to Broadway and back, and very responsive staff. We had the best first visit to Nashville and will be returning.

    I stayed at this Holiday Inn as we were planning an event across the street There was hammering on the ninth floor for most of the afternoon when we checked in and started early this morning and went on all the way up until when we checked out I called the Front Desk and they told me that they couldn't do anything about it and all they could do is apologize the inconvenience we weren't told there was gonna be any construction on the ninth floor and whatever reconsidered staying here

    We stayed at this location and it was a great distance to so many places we wanted to visit, and having the shuttle service was spectacular. (Always tip your drivers!!) From our arrival, we got there early and they held our bags before we could even check in, that was life saving. Jason our first hotel shuttle driver took us down by Broadway and picked us up from within the shuttle zone after we roamed around town and brought us back for check-in time. It was so convenient. The hotel contains a lounge/stage called Commodore Grill and it has great food, service and amazing performers. The hotel staff was lovely every moment we encountered them. The rooms, while clean, were outdated, some cracks and chips but they are currently renovating, only interrupted our sleep one morning and that wasn't bad at all. If they updated all of the rooms I'd stay here again without any hesitation. Walgreens and Starbucks in walking distance. Directly across from Centennial park. Cannot get any better than that.

    This isn’t a reflection on the staff they were actually very nice however our room was disgusting. I really question the star rating system on this site. Our room smelled like urine like someone had peed on the floors it was gross. Asked to change rooms but they were fully booked so we had to stay in the room. The carpet was gross and it was like sleeping in a urinal. Truly the worst and dirtiest room. No way this property is an 8.4 - actually want a refund from hotels.com cause totally false info. The property is beaten up and dirty.

    The room was very, very small. The towels were very rough, they would scratch a baby, the A/C was terribly loud. The A/C was too close to the bed. The lamp and TV were not plugged in. The outlet was too difficult to reach or we would have plugged them ourselves. We have stayed in Holiday Inn properties for more than 20 years. But we probably not use Holiday Inn properties again.

    Excellent hotel!! It is listed on Expedia as having an AIRPORT shuttle and that is inaccurate, just so that people know! However, they do have a shuttle providing unlimited rides back and forth to Broadway. We used it every day and it was flawless. The breakfast is delicious. Coffee shop on site. Great location!

    My TV didn’t work, but they finally got it to work. My room key didn’t work, but they finally got it to work. My room key didn’t work again, but they finally got it to work again. No room service after 9:30pm, we had to go get the food ourselves, but it was good food. The swimming pool water was too cold. They didn’t clean our room. Believe it or not Holiday Inn Nashville Vanderbilt WAS my favorite place to stay while in Nashville. AFTER THIS TRIP, I KNOW I NEED TO FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE TO STAY IN NASHVILLE.

    Grounds rather sad and lobby, but the room was fine. Didn't stay long enough to get coffee or food. There was live music in the lobby bar. Country winners of various shows like The Voice. Right across from the park. You could see the Parthenon from our balcony. Walking to ice cream, J.Alexanders, PFChang and several others. Vanderbilt stadium was in the rear of the hotel across the back parking lot.

    Everything was wonderful. The shuttle was a huge game changer as we just took the shuttle back and forth to Broadway. Our room had a view of the Parthenon which was the reason for our visit. Staff and room were great and so accommodating. We got room service for breakfast both mornings which was a big time saver.

    Its cheaper to book directly with this hotel rather than using expedia. There is a charge to park your vehicle which is rediculus. $35 to park in back and $45 valet. The restaurant has good food and has some local singer/ songwriters for entertainment. Breakfast is not free. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restrooms in the lobby were really bad. Smelled like sewer.

    The computer system was down upon check-in, which was causing quite a delay, but the staff was nice. Our room was cleaned the first day, but was not cleaned the second day. We had to get our own towels and washcloths. I would not recommend the breakfast buffet. it was overpriced and the food was luke warm. I thought the price of the buffet was half of the cost it ended up being but it could not be refunded. Be prepared to pay $35 a day for parking.

    The best server of all the 5 stars several hotels we stayed all over the world: was Ferdinand, he is very kind, respectfull and alert. We can see he loves his job. A great asset for Holiday Inn. He made our breakfast time very pleasent and the best part of our vacation days. Delicious oatmeal, sugar free syrup, boill eggs if you ask.The black old driver of shuttle with gray eyes very kind. Delicious 6 big pieces of chicken Nashville style with celery, carrots and many tasty sauces for only $16. Good job of house keepers. Golf course car and shuttle service to 7th/Broadway convenient. Walking distance to Parthenom, nails and hair saloon, Walgreens and Vanderbilt University. Room for improvements: We didn't understand a word of the old white shuttle driver and unkind, the short Indian (?) receptionist never smile, extemely unkind. No safety box, no even small gym, bad country music singers. No veggies with meat in buffet breakfast food, only pork shop. Breakfast buffet included but needs more variety, to be different each day.

    These kids were also allowed to do whatever they wanted to in the lobby and on the elevators as staff just watched. They were sliding across the lobby floor, fake wrestling, running into people, being extremely loud, and crowding people who were trying to get in/out of the elevators. The first night we were there, we were evacuated from the bar for an "active shooter" outside, and as we were quickly hoarded out, I left a bag of ~$100 worth of merchandise in it. The hotel claimed it was never found (although hotel staff would have cleaned that evening and found it), and they didn't bother to offer to reimburse me.

    The valet and entrance staff were incredibly helpful and friendly during our visit, which was prompted by a family member's surgery. The hotel was conveniently located near Vanderbilt Hospital, making it easy for us to access the facility. Although the surgeons anticipated a longer stay of three to four nights, the surgery went well, and we were able to leave the same day. When we returned to the front desk the following afternoon, the staff was just as kind and understanding. They assured us that leaving early would not be an issue and advised us to contact our third-party service to initiate the process. I appreciated the assistance of a particular staff member, who was busy multitasking that day, though I can't recall her name. Overall, our stay was pleasant, and the room was clean. Parking was limited, but they were kind enough to accommodate me.

    We stayed at this hotel because it is 4 minutes from the hospital where I was scheduled for a cancer surgery. I was required by my surgeon to take a disinfecting shower the night before and the morning of the surgery. The cold shower was miserable. There was “hot” water at 4:00 am but it was not as hot as I would have liked but I get that. Very hot water could be a liability. When I mentioned this to the gentleman who checked us out, he could not have cared less, neither was he surprised. Also would have been nice to have a mini fridge. That’s a minimal amenity these days. Room was clean and otherwise acceptable if you like the standard plywood bed. Do that many normal people really sleep on an extremely hard mattress?

    We stayed at this hotel as it was close to Vanderbilt. My husband had a cancer treatment scheduled for today. The room wasn't in the best of shape and the heater kept going hot and then cold. But to top it off, this morning we had a water leak under the sink. Water was all over the bathroom floor. I called the front desk, but they were more concerned about the floor than us. The desk manager told us he would give us some HI Points. Whoopdeedoo! That made everything okay. Take a tip - stay at the Marriott.

    This hotel is adjacent to Vanderbilt Univ. Medical Ctr. I made a reservation at this place for January 6, 2026, because I was to have outpatient surgery at 6:00 am on January 7th. I needed a place to spend the night before the day of surgery because I live 4-5 hrs. away. The hospital changed the time of the surgery from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm. only letting me know the afternoon of Jan. 6 that I was to leave for my stay at the hotel. Getting out of surgery at about 5-6:00 pm instead of 6:00 am meant my wife would have to drive me home late at night getting home at around midnight. Now what I needed was to switch my reservation from Tuesday, January 6 night to Wednesday night Jan. 7 for me to stay the night and go home during the day. I called Hotels.com to intervene which they did but the hotel refused to waive the penalty. If I wanted to change the reservation for any other reason, I would gladly pay the penalty, however, I only learned of the change in surgery time on the afternoon of January 6. I didn’t need to travel January 6 the to spend that night because I could drive to the Medical Center on the day of surgery. I want to move the reservation to the day of the surgery and spend the night January 7 and go home during daylight on January 8. I’m very surprised how Holiday Inn responded to my request. I’ll be staying at other hotels besides Holiday Inn and their affiliates. Not sure I will ever use Hotels.com, either.

    We stayed for a week at the Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt. It was absolutely perfect! Clean quiet close to the National Finals Football game...like 1 block (GO CATS). The staff was so helpful, friendly and willing to help with anything needed. The transportation to downtown every 15 minutes or so all day till 1145 pm was the icing on the cake. Hope we are back next year and we will definitely pick the Holiday Inn Vanderbuilt!

    Room was clean, bathroom clean refrigerator clean we had a balcony room which was nice, also had a sofa, hotel workers text to make sure everything is good, which I have beer experience before, front desk staff friendly, we had no issues to complain about. Our hotel also had a shuttle to downtown and would come get you if you called or waited the few minutes for them to arrive, parking was $35 a day but I never had to drive my car anywhere! Breakfast buffet was always warm and good! Best hotel in Nashville! Thanks for excellent service

    Booked a rate for three nights which changed after checking. Became 3 different higher rates on each night. The room-quite small for a king bed. It was quiet, but we were on the 10th floor. The bathroom extremely small! The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows even worse. Room service-would ask for bottled water and coffee cups every day and either took hours or never delivered. Just a so so hotel. The main thing it has to offer is convenience to certain places.

    The staff were super friendly, this hotel is in a great location, especially if you want to attend anything at Vanderbilt or go to the parthenon. The room was clean.     It was central to many things we wanted to do and we appreciated the shuttle so that we didn’t have to pay for parking downtown. But they did make it seem like it made several stops, and it didn’t. It dropped us off and we ended up having to walk several blocks, which was fine but in heels, I wasn’t prepared! Also, I didn’t notice the fee for parking and I didn’t know they did a $50 per night hold on your card for damages which doesn’t get reimbursed for 3-10 business days. It was just a bit inconvenient but the stay overall was great. No complaints. It was very quiet. We didn’t eat breakfast because it was $20 per person, and I’ve never stayed at a Holiday Inn where you had to pay extra for parking AND breakfast. That was surprising.

    traveling with friends who had breakfast points, I paid 37.98 for two plus tip. It was bad. the food was luke warm to cold and the buffet food containers were all practically empty. coffee was luke warm as well. we were there at 8:15 am, I don't consider this late for a hot breakfast! I don't care were my friends stay, back to Hilton Hotels for us!!!

    The highlight of our stay was ease of parking and the free shuttle that runs to Downtown every 20 minutes. The hotel is steps away from the Vanderbilt football stadium, in walking distance of several good restaurants, and there is a restaurant/lounge with performances nightly. All for much less than the cost of staying downtown. This may be our new “go to” hotel for concerts.

    All in all, the hotel was nice and we would stay again. We especially liked the Commodore Grille as well as the closeness and view of the Firstbank Stadium. The only real issue I had with our stay is the price. When we booked it through Expedia back in August, the quote for 2 nights was $757 and some change, When we got there to check in on November 7th it was $1003. I don't know if this was an Expedia issue or the Holiday inn, but thinking you'll pay one price and then learning its $250 more was a major turn off and did not set well with me at all. Whoever was at fault here, needs to get on the same page, and not do this to your customers. Other than that, the staff was friendly, and we enjoyed our stay.

    Friendly staff but the room was just a little run down. Surfaces and beds were clean but walls has uncleaned splatters on them, and the paint needed touched up in places. It was an expensive hotel due to location and the room did not meet the standard of other holiday inn properties. Additionally, the lack of coffee in the lobby (only a paid stand) was didappointing.

    The photos online/on Expedia did not match the rooms we had three rooms in total. First on the 12th floor and the room/floor smelt so bad, very humid, smelly, room was also dirty with stained sheets and sticky bathroom floor. Second worse the first on same floor.     The elevator was very dirty and smelly, every time we used it. The sheets had holes and very lumpy, stiff bed and pillows. Air unit loud and clicking noises in hallway was distracting. Felt musty.

    Once again our stay at Holiday Inn Vanderbuilt was comfortable. Unfortunately, the shuttle was frequently a bit delayed or full so we used Uber. We do like the proximity to the Local, 51st Deli, and two Starbucks options.

    The pool is not heated at all. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because it had an outdoor pool. I wish I knew it wasn’t heated 😐

    Clean, comfortable and excellent staff. Transportation to downtown was simple and convenient. The drivers always friendly and had great suggestions. Front desk staff awesome and helpful. Room definitely a little dated. Carpet showing its age. But overall fabulous stay.

    $35 parking loud bikes coming out of park till 2:30am was loud at times with road facing room. The room is very clean and comfortable. These were some of the more comfortable beds I have tried lately. Hotel has tons of amenities along with live music, food and drinks. In short walking distance are a few steakhouses, bbq, and fast food restaurants. This was a fun place to stay. Will be trying this location again very soon.

    The shuttle was an amazing, convent bonus. Staff were super friendly. Having the Commodore on site was so great to enjoy the food and music and then head straight to bed. I’ll stay here when I come back next year. Thanks!

    I made reservations back in June, and when we went to check in, she said your rooms not ready. We were apparently upgraded to a newer room. I don’t feel that was the case. Won’t go back.

    The floor in our room was grimey feeling to the point of having to wear shoes any time we stepped off the bed to walk anywhere. There was crunchy stuff on the walls in the bathroom. The vinyl on the walls were peeling off. The room stunk. The floors were stained. And when trying to be positive and go to the pool, it ended up being cloudy with stuff floating on top and settled in the bottom. The beds were also like rocks. A room cleaner came by early in the morning and asked us to check out early so she could clean. The front desk was nice. Other than that, it was one of the worst stays I've had at a hotel

    I love to stay at this hotel when I travel to Nashville. It’s clean and has everything you need including a gym. The staff is friendly and readily available for anything you need. Their shuttle service comes in beyond helpful to go back and forth to downtown Broadway. Totally recommend.

    1-night stay to go to Vanderbilt Medical Center the following day for my 70 yr old mother. Overall this hotel is nice and would stay again. There was a line to check in but friendly service. Room was clean and had a small balcony. Felt safe. Pool and gym. I did not try breakfast. But the restaurant was good for dinner plus music entertainment. Complaints: 1. We (and an employee) were unable to locate a luggage cart anywhere in the hotel at checkin. My mother is not able to carry much. The employee helped us get our luggage up to our room so that worked out okay. 2. Our shower door was completely gone (top of the shower door fame was still there) and a shower curtain and tension rod was hanging instead. Not really a big deal except it was not secured in place and it fell on my 70 yr old mother. She was okay. I had to stand on the toilet to put it back up. I'm still giving a good score overall but this hotel needs to purchase more luggage carts and replace the shower doors or secure the shower curtain rods to the walls.

    Being located in Downtown Nashville made it convenient to nearby restaurants, some within walking distance. Staff was congenial and very helpful. I appreciated that they kept in touch with us via text to see if we needed anything and for checkout. We appreciated the security implemented only allowing staff or persons with a room key to operate the elevators. Adjustable magnifying mirrors mounted in the bathroom were very helpful. However, the carpet in our room appeared dirty. Self-parking was already too high at $35/night, then they added tax. Overall, it was a decent stay.

    Overall, the staff was excellent. Rooms were 10/10. Convenience and location was excellent. Had everything you needed in house basically. However, the only issue I have is the fact that we had to pay for parking during the stay. My truck got broken into along with several others. Why have paid parking but no security or reassurance of safety.

    We won’t be back. It’s run down, out of date, and oddly designed… but biggest complaint is their inability to manage room reservations. They literally gave one of our rooms away in the middle of our stay. Simply inexplicable and completely unacceptable. They also had know explanation for it, nor did they offer us any sort of discount or refund as a service recovery gesture.

    Staff was kind enough to let me check in early and I had a great view of the Parthenon! Also, the Commodore Grill is an awesome venue to listen to songwriters and they have great food!I will definitely be back!
