GLō Best Western Nashville Airport

You can tell the rooms were new. That was great. However, the noise overnight from the guests above me was horrible. I was very disappointed. I called the front desk at 2:30 AM in the morning. It got a bit better for a minute and then you heard it again. I went to the front desk during check out and the manager was not there to speak to about the problem. I would love someone to contact me.

The hotel was ok but it could use some improvements. We stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping never came. We had to ask for towels several times and take out our own trash-which is fine but it’s not the service you expect from a hotel. Tip for future travelers it’s not a good stay if you’re wanting to be close to downtown. Never tried the breakfast and parking is free.

The property was clean and at first glance we thought we got a killer deal on our 2 night stay, but in reality, the bed was so awful we could feel the springs, the toilet bubbled and gurgled very loudly and woke us up periodically throughout the night. The breakfast was worse than “meh”. We won’t stay at a Glo again.

The hotel is in need of upgrades to carpeting in the hallway and the bed was lumpy. Still, this served our purpose to sleep before a very early flight. The best part of the hotel was the shower, the shower head put out just the right pressure of water - amazing after a full day of travel!

This hotel is conveniently located near BNI airport. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from airport. The shuttle service was wonderful! Would definitely stay here again!

The location was convenient to downtown Nashville & the hotel was extremely clean & check in was easy. Staff is very friendly & helpful! The properties around the hotel are a little rough, but we felt secure at the property.

I enjoyed my stay on the second floor the first night very much The cleaning staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was very good. As I was stating I was on the second floor with my husband. I went down to visit my son and great granddaughter and it was about 9:00 in the evening. When I got on the first floor the music was extremely loud. The door to the venue of the party( graduation) was wide open and I think my son was in 108. My great granddaughter is 4 and she was very tired from she could not sleep till almost 11:00 AT NIGHT BECAUSE OF LOUD MUSIC AND i AM SURE THE FRONT DESK WAS BOTHERED BY THIS NOISE. sINCE THE FIRST NIGHT WAS VERY ENJOYABLE AND THE PROBLEM COULD HAVE BEEN FIXED BY CLOSING DOOR TO THE VENUE, tELL THE HOST OF THE PARTYTO TURN THE Music down ???? also the management could have moved the guest my son to be moved to second floor or better than moving compensate my son and great granddaughter, for a sleepless night. My name is Nancy C. King second floor. and my son was very near the party. my son's name is David King. If we are in town again we would like to use your hotel again. I did pay for two enjoyable nights but I think my son should have been charged for one night and his second night taken off his bill and he have that second night be returned.

The property was bright, colorful and contemporary. The property was well maintained and clean. I especially liked the spacious room, excellent large shower with great water pressure, and flooring in the room ( no wall to wall carpeting). The free airport shuttle was an added benefit. The free breakfast was good, standard BW offerings. The staff were friendly and helpful. We dined at a very good Mexican restaurant in walking distance from the property. The property was quiet. We slept well. No complaints

Breakfast was alright. Although coffee was available all day, IT was some cold coffee. The other thing I did not like is the light fixture in the room by the beds. It was too low to the table & was hard to put my stuff on the table. Not sure why the fixture is that low.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located to what we were in town for. A guy knocked on our door at 10:15 to see if we were checking out then came and knocked again to see how long until we were leaving. Check out is at 11:00. This seemed kind of rude and annoying.

Not far from airport or downtown Nashville. Rooms are clean ans building smells great. Great place to stay if you don't mind not having extra amenities like a pool.

I booked this hotel at the last minute but was pleasantly surprised. Best Westerns new brand GLO was really nice and improved. The room was nice and spacious with updated decor. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of seating and space. Hoping to see this brand make its way to VA.

PRO: We actually stayed at this location 2 different nights--the night before our flight and the night after our return flight. I choose here because of it's location to the airport and free shuttle service. The staff that we spoke with, were all very nice and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Loved the walk in shower and that it had dispensers with shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The shuttle service was much appreciated. I also really appreciated the free bottled water. CON: The breakfast was mediocre at best, the attendant didn't seem to keep the coffee containers full and people were having to wait. The seating for breakfast was, by count, for 34--a bar that seated 10 in high top chairs and 6 tables with seating for 4 each. Then there was some low tables around a large couch like area where you could sit, but definitely not designed for comfort or eating. The theme is MODERN and that does not equate comfort. I'm still trying to see where the seating occupancy limit was 110 people, (as the sign indicated) because that was unattainable. Having said all that, if we return to Nashville to fly again, I would strongly consider this location.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location, room, and amenities was perfect.

Very nice front desk staff. I forgot my charger and they offered to let me use their personal chargers. Hot buffet breakfast was excellent. However never saw anyone clean the tables or replenish food. Coffee pots ran out everyday and u had to ask the front desk to contact them. The cleaning staff wouldn't say Hi or acknowledge me even when I said Hi to them. The Hotel is about two miles from the airport so u will need an Uber or rental car. With that being said u are only about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Germantown etc

This place is a beauty perfect location for downtown and the airport. Grounds are clean and inviting. We had a lovely stay. Oh and the lobby smells great and looks even better.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the coffee was good, the lobby was spacious and sunlit. It was a wide open, friendly, good feeling at this hotel.

We also hate the new trend in hotels of having little to no lighting in the ceiling or walls, just lamps, which create dark areas, and the use of barns doors on bathrooms, which never feel private. We were glad we were only there for a short time. We left before breakfast for a very early flight so I cannot comment on dining. The location was very close to the airport but we left before the shuttle was operational so I also can’t comment on that.

I arrived to Glo Best Western Hotel late in the evening and while it was very quiet I was greeted by a very nice young man who helped me get checked in and communicated with me about all of the hotel’s amenities and features . I was very pleased with my room . It was spacious and clean and comfortable. I had a small fridge and microwave as well as a single serve coffee maker. I do appreciate these amenities . I had a restful evening and enjoyed a very comfortable bed and a bathroom that had all of the toiletries I needed. I was happy to have the offering of a free breakfast down in the very open and inviting lobby area with plenty of tables and desk areas as well as plenty of coffee . I felt very comfortable coming and going in the well lit parking lot and the extra security of needing my hotel key card to gain entry to the hotel after really late hours. The hallways were well lit and I felt safe and secure traveling by my myself as a single woman . Each time I came or went I was greeted in a friendly way by hotel desk staff . I appreciated being acknowledged. I really enjoyed my stay at Glo and highly recommend this hotel for convenience,a clean,safe environment ,efficiently run and well maintained hotel with friendly helpful staff and professional and competent employees that work to provide a delicious breakfast every morning. I would gladly stay at Glo hotel again and again and definitely tell others to do the same .

Came down from Chicago stayed 2 nights the place was nice and had a wonderful smell, we had free breakfast both days and the house keepers even cleaned while we were out, this was a nice hotel, only downside there isn’t a pool but we a wonderful experience!

Hotel was convenient for an overnight stay if you have a delay at the airport. The airport shuttle was great and the drivers were excellent. Full of great information. The hotel staff were excellent as well. The room itself was good. One complaint is that the lights over the nightstand hung so low, you can barely put anything on the nightstand. Not sure who designed that but they need to raise them higher. It was very strange. Beds were ok but we were only there for one night so it was fine. The AC worked well but they are loud and kept turning on and off throughout the night.

We had a terrible stay. Checked in fine but then couldn’t get into our room. Went back to the lobby and no one was around. Waited a long time for someone to return. Gave us new keys and we tried again. Door stuck really bad. Had to force yourself into the room. The room itself was fine. We decided to shorten our stay there and the front desk clerk said they would approve the refund. It’s need 3 days and no word from the manager who was supposed to approve the refund. Will not stay there again.

The front desk staff told us that Expedia VIP means nothing (this was my first time mentioning VIP so maybe it doesn’t) but she did give our daughter a free snack.

The location seems like an updated, renovated hotel. Staff was great and respectful, nothing negative to say about them. I did not try the breakfast so I can’t speak to that. Appeared to be pretty decent from the looks. Complimentary water was a plus! Only issues were the room smelled like bug spray and another guest used their key to enter my room. Luckily I had the door hook engaged or they would’ve walked right in. The front desk agent quickly handled this issue and provided a new key. Also, having a room directly in front of the elevator is something I will never accept again. I could hear everyone in the hallway.

I had a surgery at Vanderbilt so we spent the night there because we live 2+ hours from the hospital. It was perfect for what we needed & it was a good price. I would stay there again when we are catching a flight out of Nashville.

Decent facilities, all staff were very nice and respectful. I felt close to everything in Nashville, without the stress of being right downtown. Breakfast was also pretty good with a nice variety! The walls in this hotel are VERY THIN. You can hear everything going on outside your door, as well as in the rooms beside you. It's impossible to drown out any sort of noise. I could literally hear the full phone conversation of the person in the room beside me..

The room itself has this awesome, quirky cuteness to it. The layout was great. Space was amazing! It just seemed more than a normal room for some reason. Bathroom? Again, space was super useful and seemed like more than it was. Also, the supplied soap, shampoo and conditioner were a step above. Another cool thing was the little window, booth reading nook space next to the window. You could either put your suitcase there and live out of that or unload and put your suitcase underneath and then sit in an elevated position and read in a natural sunlight. I can't think of anything. I had zero negative experiences.

Very noisy was up all night listening to craziness from upstairs.stomping around slaming things. Hotel was a beautiful hotel but the noise was horrible.

Breakfast was average The showers were terrible .. you couldn’t move the shower head and it was placed to close to the shower door .. automatically spraying out of the shower when you turn it on. Also, the showerhead had different types of water sprays, and they were not normal.

Location was the best part about this hotel There was a lot of noise the person above us walked on the floor and would shake our room, all night long walking across the floor above us keeping us awake. We spoke to staff about it and were told basically oh well. Didn't offer a room change. Bed was well used with dips in the mattress and pillows were not comfortable

We stay at Glo in nashville every time we visit. We love it. Location is great, always friendly staff. Hotel is very clean, beds are perfect and the bathrooms are very roomy and the shower you can fit 3 people in. We have stayed at several Hotels in Nashville over the years and Glo beats them all on cost, location, and comfort.

This hotel is a great choice for an overnight stay if you are flying in or out of Nashville. The rates are reasonable. The room was spacious and clean. The complimentary breakfast was minimal, but adequate. There is an excellent Mexican restaraunt right next door.

Rented 3 rooms. 1 was stinky, 1 had dirt everywhere, and 1 was ok. Not impressed.

The third floor was a bio hazard with ( I am assuming dog feces) covering the floor all the way done the hall way and was not cleaned up for the two days I stayed there.

The room was clean and the breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. Our room was very close to the laundry room and right next door to the fitness center. I don’t know if it was coming from the laundry room or the fitness center but we were awaken around 5:00 AM by a thumbing noise. I suspect it was the dryer with laundry tumbling around in it. Do not stay in the first floor rooms.

Good: clean spacious room, good variety of continental breakfast options, one free electric car charging parking spot, free bottled water at check-in. Needs improvement: elevators are slow, building was noisy as in could hear people walking / floors creaking while in our room, barn doors for bathrooms are the worst design choice ever.

They didn't clean the room during my stay again this time. I've complained to the front desk every visit, but I only hear excuses. First, they said they would inform the cleaners. Second, I was told I needed to hang the cleaning tag. Third, they claimed I had to speak to the front desk each morning to request cleaning. Even a third-grade motel wouldn't require all these steps.

Overall stay was ok. Asked for connecting rooms or rooms close. Your man at front desk said only separate floors available. Three young kids with parents and grandparent. Finally found rooms on same floor opposite ends. Horrible having to watch small kids each time they left one of the rooms. Also handle on bathroom door broken. AC unit controls did not work and unable to adjust. Breakfast only pork meat available. Of course in the south but we are from GA. Most hotels for visiting northern and some southerners do not eat pork. So poor choice for food.

My only comment would be the overt.and suspicious looking stains on the the 4th floor carpet probably 10-15 of them that almost looked burnt, or as if some sort of organic material wasn't cleaned up in time.(vomit, blood, diarrhea). There were no bad smells or anything like that, and the carpet appeared clean, just visibly stained.

The rooms are clean, but during my stay, the guests in the room next door yelled and fight until 3 a.m. The next morning, I asked if I could change rooms, but the receptionist was rude and refused to do so. The same thing happened the following day, and I had to find another hotel to spend the night, even though I had already paid for three nights. The rest of the staff were friendly.

The room was in good condition, and the staff was polite and helpful. I was in room 306, there was a sex ring being operated out of room 305. All night there were loud talking (young girls), doors being slammed and at one time, an underage child crying uncontrollably. The last problem was at 2:00am and left me so upset that I packed my bags and left by 3:00am. Honestly, this sounded like an underage sex ring. I had less than 2hrs sleep and left very upset. The lack of sleep I can live with, the other haunts me. If I had a # for ICE or Homeland Security, I would have called and reported. I may still do this.

Sterile, cheap vibe

Positives: Location is good, large rooms, close to downtown, & lots of parking. Negatives: walls are VERY thin. I could hear my neighbors conversations and don’t get me started on the stomping coming from the room above. Housekeeping & front desk services are severely lacking - they switched my room after the first night to the top floor to help me with the noise and the supposedly clean room they moved me to was NOT cleaned from a previous guest. No apology, just made me wait hours to switch to another room. Then the alarm clock went off at 4 am and house walked in on us at 8 am… If they make some improvements to their customer service and housekeeping, this would be a good place to stay.

It was a wonderful stay, near everything but away from the crowds. It was fun and abstract but modern. The room was big, the bathroom is beautiful. The breakfast set up was awesome. So much to choose from or create. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The room was just okay! I have very high standards for cleanliness and they definitely fell short. Upon entering the room you don't get a clean smell. The sheets and the towels also don't give off a clean scent. The sheets had small stains, got new sheets, they also had stains. The breakfast was very bad, my toddler wouldn't eat any of it. The room was bug free so I was thankful for that!

I like it the first time when I came to stay in this hotel & it was really clean & quiet. Hotel lobby always smelling good & staff was very friendly & this is the reason why I book this hotel again. But the recent staycation in Nov, the room 330 that I was staying in was very noisy throughout the 2 nights stay. I kept hearing people stomping the floor & moving stuff around from upstairs directly under my room the entire time I was in the room. It was really disappointing.

Very spacious bathroom with a shower instead of a tub combo, which is great. The room got very dark for sleeping, which we appreciate.

I would recommend that the design of the bathroom door is looked at. It rests on rollers, and is held closed by gravity. The handle of the door strikes the frame, causing it to come loose. Over time, this will lead to repairs being required. Before unpacking, check your bathroom door is ok. Otherwise, no issues at all during our stay.

Worst experience ever! This property is in an EXTREMELY BAD part of town! My daughter and I were returning late in the night by an Uber and there was a man dressed all in black carrying / trying to hide an Automatic Rifle by his leg. He was trying to get in the main doors of the hotel. We begged the Uber not to stop and take us up the road and wait with us while 911 was called. Police informed us.. do not go back, the scene is not safe, others had called too. In the end, the hotel staff let us out of the rest of our stay because of safety concerns. The guy was saying he was “security” the hotel said he was not and was never hired by Glo Best Western or staff. Only thing good about this place is staying far away!! Even the police personally told us this is an extremely bad area and the best thing to do is get away from this area!

I chose this Hotel based on reviews but I regret I did. Although the check in process was smooth the next day definitely not. At least 10 or more car were broken into and windows were busted. Even though the pictures show the hotel is surrounded by tree and appears to be safe, the area around is not. Many homeless people around throughout the day and night. Now that I do more research, this was no the first time and several post about it! I will never stay here again and would not recommend!

The staff was very kind, which was the only price experience at this hotel. The place smelled terrible when we arrived, but the rooms did not so we decided to stay. You can hear every noise from the floor above you from your room and the desk clerk even agreed it’s often a complaint. Several trucks in the lot were broken into over night and had items stolen and windows smashed. I would never recommend staying here.

The A/C was loud but not terribly where we couldn’t sleep. Also it’s situated under the table so air flow is a little restricted. I assume all the rooms are done this way but I noticed it didn’t seem to circulate as well with this design. Overall no real complaints from our stay. We would stay again!

Very average, kinda sketchy neighborhood.

Room has a bad smell and can't figure out why. It smelled better one we brought in MCDs but that smell soon went away and the other smell came back. Besides that the beds are comfy and the room was decorated nicely.

Air conditioning unit was very noisy making sleep difficult. The strong smell of air freshener in the lobby was very overwhelming

Our problems was the cleanliness. Every chair had a suspicious stain and the mattress looked like somebody was stabbed on it. See the attached pictures. I mean seriously - there is no mattress protector that can fix this. This mattress needs burned and the ashes need an exorcism before being thrown in a volcano. Needless to say we slept in full clothes on top of all the sheets for our quick nap before leaving. That was until our neighbors began slamming doors wrestling at 2 am. For the next hour this continued until we decided we’d rather be at the airport. So all in all we kept our luggage there for a day AND they offer free great value water in the lobby. If this is the experience you are looking for while in Nashville - you’re in luck. We likely won’t be back to a Glo property, which is a shame because the rooms were nice and new and overall pretty cozy. The cleanliness and all night partying, with paper thin walls, makes this a no go for me next time I’m in Nashville.

We stayed the night because we had been traveling for almost 30 hours and needed a good night rest. Everything was perfect until the alarm clock went off at 6am! We never programmed it. We couldn't go back to sleep therefore we only got about 4 hours sleep. Which defeated the purpose of renting the room.

Where do I begin! This hotel located lacked tone desirable! This property must be run as low in come housing. It was dirty, sketchy ppl area. Day 1 Our room was not cleaned even after putting our door tag out. Next night we came back to our room late and only to find the sheets pulled up to meet the pillows! Nothing was cleaned, no refill of tissues, no garage removed nothing. They literally pulled up the sheets and called it a day!! Disgraceful to say the least

We just stayed for the night. Weren’t worried about the surrounding area. Hotel was comfortable and clean. Took a long time to get checked in, as there were issues with the guest ahead of us reservation. There was only one clerk on duty so had to wait an extra long time.
