Reviews
The Dream Nashville by Hyatt is a beautifully designed hotel with a lively atmosphere, located in a walkable area close to Broadway and Printers Alley. Guests generally appreciate the friendly and attentive staff, cleanliness, and early 20th century Art Deco vibe. However, some guests have experienced issues with housekeeping, and a few found the rooms to be smaller than expected.
- Beautiful design and Art Deco vibe
- Friendly and attentive staff
- Inconsistent housekeeping service
- Rooms can be smaller than expected

The hotel has a lot of charm. The staff was friendly. Also, they had events going on downstairs that you could get involved in— I personally didn’t go, but it sounded like a vibe. Would definitely stay again! The proximity to Broadway was nice too!

This hotel check all the boxes as far as clean and stylish room, friendly staff, very delicious breakfast, the bar was phenomenal. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Our stay was amazing even though I injured myself the first day we were there. The staff was very helpful in getting me ice for ankle on multiple occasions and even one of the staff members brought me some crutches from home to borrow. Definitely went above and beyond.

Close enough to the action in terms of proximity for a quick walk, but far enough away you weren’t overwhelmed by the masses. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Very welcoming staff and great location for concert. Mini bar was empty
- 5/5
Guest services was awesome. I called with questions before arrival and also check in was top notch. Valet young men were great. Rooms clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Excellent location and staff was very friendly. They even gave me bandaids to help with blisters after a full day of sightseeing in cowgirl boots! We didn’t have a chance to eat at the on site restaurant but it looked lovely. An overall great place to stay if you want to be near Printers Alley and Broadway where all the night life happens!

This hotel and staff were absolutely great!
- 4.5/5
I highly recommend getting a room away from the street, as the party buses and music goes all night/morning. Other than that, Dream was a dream…great employees and service and super comfy beds.

Great location. Safe area. Clean. Great beds. Nicely done bathrooms.

Cute decor I didnt appreciate the $35 mandatory daily fee charged to all rooms. It was for a variety of reasons "discounts" around town, none of which were useful or interesting to me. I could see offering this as an option, but requiring all guests to pay was not okay. It also cost $76 for one night of overnight parking, which is just criminal. None of this is advertised ahead of time of course, so thats a $100+ per night of extra costs not advertised. Also - I couldn't get our room blinds to close, which is kind of annoying.

Beautiful hotel. Valet staff was helpful and courteous. Front desk staff was amazing. Bars onsite were gorgeous. Location was great. Close to broadway and printers alley. We traveled with a dog, and the only green space was 3 blocks away. That was the only thing that posed a small challenge for us. But I would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at Dream. My husband and I were in town for 2 nights and we truly were able to make the most of it. The proximity to Printers Alley and Broadway can’t be beat, the hotel staff are super friendly and attentive and the whole vibe is like a party. I don’t think it’s suitable for kids but I did see a few kids with other groups. Personally, it was perfect for us. We had a blast!

Great little hotel walking distance to all of downtown. Super nice and helpful staff. Shower was the best hotel shower I have had in my life - I'm not joking. The shower was roomy and the water pressure was delightfully strong.
- 5/5
Drinks upon arrival! The room was fantastic, very clean, great bathroom amenities and the water pressure was great! The bed was super comfy, and thats hard to come by at a hotel. Housekeeping came everyday and refreshed our towels, coffee and made the bed. 3 blocks from broadway which is close enough and just far enough away from the chaos. Gym was a little small but it works for being on vacation. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Comfortable rooms, quiet, friendly staff Parking
- 2/5
Bathroom shower was dirty and the room was not an “upgrade” - we had a view of a dumpster.
- 5/5
GREAT
- 4.5/5
Dark room, bathroom leaked from shower onto floor, and no privacy.
- 4/5
Our room was smaller than expected with only one small window with a shade that did not work. But it was very clean with nice, comfortable beds.
- 3/5
Rooms are small. Atmosphere/vibe is great. Close to downtown.
- 5/5
The room was great and the staff very helpful.
- 5/5
Staff were superb and helpful. My opinion rooms were too dark for my liking.
- 4/5
The staff were excellent. Room was spotless with comfortable bedding! However, for our 2 night stay there was an additional $80 in fees that we were not expecting at check out. We were told that the fees covered the offered discounts at other establishments. That simply does not make any sense.
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff was excellent!
- 4/5
Clean room, great location
- 5/5
Noise level at night only issue
- 5/5
Perfect location and room! Will definitely stay again when visiting.
- 5/5
We stayed in a two bedroom room, it was very clean and great size for weekend girls trip. We loved having brunch at Stateside Kitchen. Jean, the bartender at Parlour Bar is amazing and makes the best drinks! House keeping staff were so friendly and always made sure we had plenty of towels. Would definitely recommend staying here when you come to Nashville
- 5/5
The staff was absolutely amazing from the text welcoming us to the property to the bottle of champagne for our engagement. We will definitely be back!

- 5/5
Staff was amazing! Great service
- 3/5
Good location, friendly staff, stylish lobby. But the room itself was surprisingly dark, with colors and decor that were tired and depressing. I don’t feel like the cost was justified. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Staff was so nice! Rooms were cool!
- 5/5
The room was spotless, staff members were all accommodating. We loved the overall vibe of the hotel and appreciates that valet was included until 5pm the day of checkout.
- 5/5
Everyone was very nice and professional. Alone, Jay and rest of the staff were very good to my wife and I. The mimosas and the French toast are ridiculous.
- 3/5
Parking is expensive at $60 per day, and they add on facility fee’s toward your stay with no mention. They did refund the fee’s but it would be nice to stay at a place that your made aware before being charged. The hotel was comfortable and clean.
- 5/5
Place was on point!

4.5 stars. Only because nothing is a 5.
- 5/5
We stayed during the ice storm in Nashville. Even though the staff were also suffering from the ice storm, they were all so friendly and welcoming. Everyone brought their dogs - including me. The restaurants in the hotel were open and we enjoyed a great meal.
- 3/5
Overpriced rooms not as nice as the Bobby and other hotels in the same prices range
- 5/5
Great place for a trip. Close to broadway
- 5/5
Great location, awesome decor
- 5/5
The staff is full of southern charm and are very attentive to needs. Ebony checked in daily. The brunch is fun there.location is great. It's beside Printer Alley, two blocks from Broadway, and has many places to eat within close proximity.
- 4/5
The value didn’t really equal the experience I was getting
- 4/5
Thought it was overpriced and the cost of the valet was criminal
- 5/5
Damn expensive.

Beautiful combination of old and new. The showers was the best we have ever used. Everything was very clean and spotless. Loved the close proximity to Printer’s Alley and Broadway. There was nothing we didn’t like.
- 4.5/5
Clean and upbeat
- 5/5
The staff is very nice and they did some accommodation for my husband and I.
- 4/5
It was nice and quiet I ordered can drinks and they were brought up in a cup with straws. I’m pretty sure it was fountain drinks. So safe to say when I got them they were watered down. Would had rather had the cans. Other than that my stay was great.
- 5/5
The martinis were delicious!

A beautiful renovation of a historic hotel, originally built in the late 1800s, it is a mix of old and new. We found it charming and the service was OUTSTANDING! We live in the Nashville area and chose this hotel for a special weekend downtown. It is a few minutes walk away from all of the charms of downtown Nashville, lower Broadway, Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, Country Music Hall of Fame, etc. I highly recommend this hotel!
- 4/5
Location Room service took 1.5 hours, there were no luggage carts upon arrival, the coffee in the lobby was terrible.
- 5/5
Staff very courteous and room was spotless and comfortable!!
- 3/5
The property is fairly convenient, a 4 block walk to Broadway and The Assembly and one minute walk to Printer’s Alley. Bartenders at the lounge were great. Our stay, however, wasn’t a wow, and there were a few issues: 1. At the time of checkout, the hotel attempted to charge us $30 per day plus tax for a total of $140 for a “resort fee.” When we asked what the fee was for, we were told for the use of internet and coffee. We didn’t use the internet or drink coffee and protested these sort of accommodations are a part of any hotel service for their guests. They took off the fee, given our protest, but the fee was a backdoor, nickel and dime attempt to squeeze more cash out of their guests on our $1400+ hotel stay for 4 days. 2. My husband’s $450 electric razor recharger cord went missing, which we reported to the front desk and were told we would receive a call. No follow up was attempted by the front desk and this raises some concern about room security. 3. After the $140 charge was attempted. I reflected back on a complaint by a guest in the elevator who was upset she was being nickeled and dined with some fee bc the car had broken down and was in for repairs and the hotel had to hold their luggage until the car was fixed. Clearly, the Dream Hyatt missed the course on guest relations. Given this experience, I wouldn’t stay at the property again and caution anyone staying in Nashville to be aware of the last minute, at check out, resort fee.

- 5/5
Amazing hotel very clean and great staff!!
- 5/5
Great hotel! Wonderful location.
- 2/5
Unfortunately, our stay was far from what we expected. We specifically booked a room with two queen beds and even paid an extra $30 to secure that room type. Despite this, we were given an alternative room with limited beds. We were later told the hotel had oversold the rooms, which is not acceptable given that our booking was confirmed. To accommodate us, we had to call someone in the middle of the night to install a rollaway bed, which disrupted our rest. The hotel offered us a credit as compensation for the inconvenience, but during checkout they attempted to remove the credit, claiming the checkout staff was “not aware” of it. This lack of communication and accountability added to an already frustrating experience. The room itself was uncomfortable. It was very cold, the windows are old and poorly insulated, and to make matters worse, the hot water was shut off during my morning shower. Service across the property was inconsistent at best. The front desk staff was not friendly during checkout. The restaurant is overpriced, and at the bar we waited an unreasonably long time just to get water. The valet service was also extremely slow—cars took forever to arrive, and valet staff were often not available or present when needed. Overall, this hotel did not meet basic expectations in terms of room quality, service, or professionalism. Given the number of issues we experienced, I would not recommend staying here, especially if you va

- 5/5
Bar staff was great.
- 5/5
Our stay was perfect. I will say after booking and pre-paying there are many more fees once you get on property, but other than that, very nice and in a great location downtown.
- 5/5
From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional! Being welcomed with drinks at check-in was a lovely touch and set the tone for a fantastic stay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our parking needs, which we truly appreciated! The hotel itself is stunning - beautiful, well-kept, and inviting. A top-notch experience with outstanding service. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.
- 5/5
The room and amenities were wonderful but the staff provided superb customer service. I've never had any staff response so quickly to every request and/or need. The staff's treatment of my husband and myself made it an unforgettable experience.

- 5/5
This hotel is amazing! The ceilings in the rooms are twelve feet and there is a Nespresso machine! I love the character of an old building and this hotel is my choice from now on when I come to Nashville.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Nashville, everything is high end, clean, friendly, and the bar/restaurant gets especially happening at brunch time with the dj.
- 5/5
The room was perfectly appointed with comfortable bed and chase lounge. Bathroom was well stocked with shower cap and toiletries. Lobby had complimentary coffee every morning.
- 5/5
Perfection all around!
- 4/5
I would give the whole stay 4 1/4 stars only because the refrigerator in the room was not working properly and we couldn't regulate the temperature in the room.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay! Room was very nice and well stocked with amenities. Staff was courteous and attentive and the location in downtown Nashville was perfect!
- 4/5
Voiturier cher, il y a des parkings autour. Resort fee obligatoire, cher et sans intérêt Petit dejeuner limitè et un peu bobo, mais le yaourt au granola ètait très bon.

- 5/5
Beautiful decor and great location
- 5/5
The location was great. The room was very nice and the staff was outstanding.
- 3/5
My husband and I liked that it was within walking distance of Broadway. However, one day we knew the room was NOT cleaned because the staff did not give us new towels and toilet paper. When we asked why, the answer was that I must have had a do-not-disturb sign on, which I did not, and to top it off, we were charged an additional $30 a night for a Facility Fee plus tax, which came out to an extra $105 for staying there. This fee covered two bottles of water a day and discounts on shows if we booked through them. We will not stay there again unless they get rid of this fee. Not happy at all.
- 5/5
Maya, the bartender in the martini bar was awesome. She was working solo in a full bar late at night, busting ass to make drinks and serve everyone.
- 5/5
Incredible ! Will definitely come back

Beautiful hotel and staff is amazingly friendly.

1 of the 2 elevator was down for an entire day and my sink did not drain well, got a story about a special device in the plumbing and that's why it was slow. Never heard from that kind of device before, next day hear a pop while shaving and the sink drained in one shot. Guess the device broke...
- 4/5
Otherwise an excellent stay in a fantastic location (excluding the printers alley noise at the weekends, bring ear plugs!)

Our room was very cool and sleek. Loved the decor. Bathroom and shower was very large. The room was so quiet at night as well. The bed and pillows were also hight quality. We rested very well at night. Lots to do around this great hotel. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet Hotel but so conveniently located to everything and especially Printers Alley!

The overall aesthetic of this hotel is beautiful. The stateside restaurant has great ambience and the food has been amazing. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming! One of my favorite hotel stays!
- 5/5
Perfect location
- 4/5
Room size was terrible. Barely room to walk. All else about this hotel was excellent, from location, to staff and services.
- 5/5
Staff was accommodating for my husband's medical condition. They kept his medication refrigerated for us until our room was ready while we toured the city. This is our 2nd stay with them and highly recommend them.
- 5/5
Great stay would definitely go back
- 4/5
Clean and fresh! Seemed new
- 5/5
Breakfast was good and prompt. The room was great, bed comfort and great shower. Did not use internet
- 4/5
This is a great hotel - beautiful rooms, comfortable, and attentive service. The only thing to note for others looking to book: Nashville’s loud and you can hear live music from your room until 1-2am. Maybe this is based on where your room is, but ask about it at the front desk or bring a sound machine if you turn in earlier than that. Overall good experience, though.
- 4/5
Great room. Room was always clean! Valet parking was very expensive and main area of hotel was very loud. Good food and service at the bars though.
- 5/5
Loved this place! It was perfect distance to the stadium for concerts
- 5/5
Very nice and clean location. Beds were super comfortable. Loved the staffs kindness and the overall environment.
- 5/5
I loved the hotel
- 3/5
The room we had was on the second floor. We could hear the bass and musics rumbling until 2am. The room was clean for the most part. The bed sheets felt wet from the humidity in the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We thought it would be a little nicer for close to $500 per night once you add in all the fees and $70 to park. It was convenient to Broadway and the bars. We were also a little turned off by the smell of trash and dirty all around the alleys by the hotel and really bad down by broadway. Homeless people were hanging out on the sidewalks doing drugs or obviously on something. A girl was laying passed out in a doorway right along the sidewalk with hundreds of people walking by. You wouldn’t want to eat food on any first floor bar/restaurant unless you were fine with the smell of rotting trash while you ate. Music and live bands were very good. We understand the draw to go see them, but be prepared with how dirty it is.
- 5/5
Very clean, comfortable bed, close to broadway.
- 3/5
Bed uncomfortable. Parking ridiculous.
- 5/5
Great ambiance-restaurant, bar, breakfast, vibe. But best of all is staff-in a world of diminishing customer service the Dream team was just that! They provided great hospitality and took great care of us. All around wonderful stay. Will definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
The vibe was great. Very friendly people.
- 5/5
Great service ! Great style ! Great hotel! I enjoyed my stay. Thank you !
- 5/5
The property is great! Very trendy place to stay, great location and the weekend brunch is so much fun. However, we requested a 2nd robe for the room and it never showed up. They just forgot. Kinda weird but we were too busy to keep following up on it. Felt like they were understaffed.
- 5/5

We were just passing through but happened to be the 4th of July. We were able to get a room facing the stadium and watched the fireworks from our beds, no crowds or traffic to worry about. Probably the best fireworks show we’ve ever seen! But also the beds were comfy and the room was clean. It was a great stay!
